Great venue!
The barn was perfect for what we wanted and it housed our huge families (even when they all had to stay inside because it poured rain)! Staff was excellent to work with - helped to make the day run extremely smoothly!! I would definitely recommend this venue to others! -

User2135901 2+ years agoOk, gale and Darlene are amazing, so this review does not reflect them at all. They are great people to work with and work really hard to make everything perfect! The venue itself is run by the county and they are terrible! They changed a lot of things as they went and did not make me aware of a lot of issues and changes until the Last month before my wedding. They have issues with insurance that has been a nightmare, they told me different things many times and one person would say something was ok and the other would say it wasn't. My last month leading to my "happiest day ever" has been the most stressful and frustrating time of my life. I have had severe health issues from stress and I hope they work out their issues at the county so the wonderful women that work there can have an easier job. Again, issues with the county and the lack of information, not the people that work at or operate the venue.
****UPDATE****
ok..after the wedding now..the wedding went perfect! none of the issues that were there befopre the wedding ended up effecting the actual wedding...besides a last minute stoppage to curling irons and coffee makers that we did not know about, everything was perfect! Gale, Darlene and Paige were there ALL NIGHT to help and make sure everything was perfect! It went much better than I expected and it seems that they have fixed most of the issues I had since my wedding so future weddings should be much better! Thanks to all of the amazing staff there! -
User1933395 2+ years agoI'm only rating them low because we have not yet had our wedding here but it is the most beautiful barn and great location! Just off I-75 near Auburn Hills. Gail has been excellent to work with so far and willing to answer all our questions and concerns. This venue is somewhat new to hosting weddings still so staff is willing to work with the couple and make adjustments as necessary. I can't wait for 9-5-15!
