The Grandview is an absolutely perfect place to host your wedding. From the stunning views overlooking the Hudson River to the delicious food and exceptional service, it’s a venue you can truly trust with your most important day. My husband and I spent over a year working with Emily on every detail that made our wedding unforgettable. Her guidance and support helped create a day where the staff catered to us literally hand and foot. After photos, two attendants assigned to me dropped to their hands and knees to clean dirt from my dress—and later did the same to fix my bustle when it broke. I never asked for them to do that; they simply took care of it. The food was outstanding, with portions far more generous than what you typically find at catered weddings. Our guests are still talking about how amazing everything tasted. If you’re looking for a venue you can rely on completely, The Grandview is it. You won’t regret choosing them.

The Perfect Venue – Seamless, Stunning, and Unforgettable!

We cannot express enough how grateful we are to The Grandview for making our wedding day absolutely magical!

From the moment we toured the venue with Abby, we knew it was the perfect place to say “I do.” She not only showed us what The Grandview had to offer, but painted a beautiful picture that illustrated OUR day from the very beginning.

The team’s attention to detail and seamless coordination made the entire planning process stress-free, and on the day of, everything ran like clockwork.

The space was breathtaking—elegant, romantic, and exactly what we envisioned. Every detail, from the lighting to the flow of the event, was executed flawlessly. The staff, including Abby, Jenna, and Fox ensured that everyone was well taken care of. Our guests are still raving about the beauty of the venue, the excellent taste of the food, and how well-organized everything was.

The most beautiful venue

We had our wedding here and it was the best day. The views are unbeatable. Emily & Abby were so helpful during the whole process. Our guests were amazed and loved everything from views to food. Highly recommend!

Worth every penny!

The Grandview was absolutely amazing for my wedding! I worked with Abby and Emily and they were incredible, communication was quick, answered all my questions and everything was on point the day of. I couldn’t have been happier with my wedding and so glad I chose the Grandview. All my guests loved the venue and food and don’t get me started on the view!! Love love loved it!!

Highly recommend!

Grandview is excellent! The staff goes above and beyond. I didn’t have a wedding coordinator, so I was a little nervous, but they made it all so easy. They helped coordinate the day of the event and made sure it all ran perfectly. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, even for a cold March wedding. Everything looked amazing and came together beautifully. My guests raved about the cocktail hour; it was a highlight!

The Grandview will give you the wedding of your dreams!

I had my wedding at the Grandview in August 2024 and they were absolutely amazing from scheduling the venue tour to the day after the wedding! You can tell they do so many weddings because they're amazing at it, but they truly make you and your wedding feel special. They were super accommodating with any requests that we had (such as an odd signature cocktail in memory of my husband's late father). The space is also stunning! Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and professional, they truly made our wedding the best experience. Last but not least, the food and drinks! Most people complain wedding food is meh and drinks are watered down, but that was not the case at the Grandview! Everyone raved to us about how great the food and drinks were! I also loved the Grandview had so many different packages to fit any couple's needs. It was important to me to know how much this was going to cost upfront and the Grandview made that so easy. If you want a wedding in the Hudson Valley, the Grandview is the best spot!

Dream Wedding

I can't say enough good things about this team and the wedding I had with them. The day was seamless and the guests could not stop raving about the service, the food, and the property. Tatiana, my coordinator, was so on top of her game and made sure everything was perfect the day of. She answered all my thousands of emails promptly and professionally. I felt like I could trust them with every little detail of the day. Everyone was so attentive to my husband and I through the day and I was so grateful for the entire experience.

Incredible experience

They say that rain is good luck on your wedding day, and so it poured like no other day on ours. As disappointed we were to have rain on this day, in so many ways, it was a blessing in disguise. The Grandview staff help made it a special night despite some delays, they all coordinated to get us back on track. The food was so delicious and they also executed all the must-have special moments on our wedding night as well as allowing plenty of time to dance the night away. It really was a magical night despite the rain thank you.

Wonderful venue!

They were wonderful to work with, and the venue is gorgeous. All of our guests raved about the food. My only (2) issues were- 1) They put the wrong table numbers on our tables, and while I was able to see this prior to guests arriving and they were able to correct the mistake, unfortunately all of my photographers shots of the reception have someone else's table numbers on the tables, and 2) The bridal attendant was new and in training, and barely assisted throughout the day. Other than that, the venue did a wonderful job.

Everything was outstanding

My husband and I got married in December at The Grandview and we cannot recommend it enough. We knew we were in good hands with The Grandview from the moment we booked, We had to postponing our wedding due to COVID and for a stressful situation they made it so easy and seamless. From the views to the staff to the convenience of it all, we couldn’t have asked for a better venue to get married at. Lauren, Mackenzie, Crystal and the entire staff are truly the best. They take care of every little thing the day of. The food is fantastic and there’s full waiter service to the tables making your guests truly be able to relax and enjoy the evening. Our guests were raving about the entire night. If you’re looking for a perfect venue, definitely make sure to check out The Grandview.

The Wedding of Our Dreams

The Grandview was the first wedding venue we saw when we first got engaged and instantly fell in love. Breath taking views, amazing staff, incredible view , this place really has it all. The most amazing venue for our wedding!

We spent a good deal of time trying to find an outdoor wedding venue with beautiful sights and a truly catered experience. The Grandview really knocked it out of the park for us - their staff were always prompt and professional leading up to the big day and made everything seem so effortless - we really did not have to think about anything but ourselves on our wedding day! The food was a hit for us and all of our guests, and having the cake made on-site was a pleasant (and delicious) plus to the whole package. Our guests could not stop raving over the food options, the beautiful treeline across the Hudson River and the flowers onsite. The maitre d' and captain on our day were on point and seamlessly directed the entire wedding - it was a completely stress-free experience. As an additional bonus, the holding company also owns the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel and makes it incredibly simple to ferry guests to and from the venue as well as giving access to a honeymoon suite for us on our wedding night.

We cannot sing our praises loud enough for the Grandview and their staff. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding so magical and perfect!!

Absolutely Amazing

I cant recommend the Grandview enough. from the moment we hired them, they were responsive, professional, accommodating, and helpful. The night of our wedding, the team there was amazing. our Maître D followed us around while we were taking our pictures to help with my dress and get us anything we needed. she even had a small cooler that she carried around in case we wanted water. During the reception, the bustle of my dress fell and she immediately came over with safety pins to help pin it back up. I had a drink in my hand the entire night and they honestly just made the night go down without a hitch. This venue is AMAZING. the view is beautiful and it simply cannot be beat.

Best day of our lives!

There are no words to explain the amount of gratitude we have for this venue. They made the very hard decision to reschedule (twice) so much easier. Someone is always there to answer your email or phone call and we were always treated with so much kindness. From planning to execution Taylor was the absolute best!! The whole team made our big day a breeze. They think about every little detail! Our food was also phenomenal, and my very picky Italian family is still raving about it! I love this place and wish I could do it all over again, thank you Grandview!

Nothing less than perfect

I have been obsessed with this place since I was 15! Going there in person made it even better. The staff was wonderful. They catered to all our needs. They coordinated so well with each vendor to make sure minute by minute everyone was on the same page. If I could I would have every event here.

Breathtaking venue, delicious food, impeccable service!

Due to Covid, we had multiple reschedule dates and changes and Margaret at The Grandview was there every step of the way. She kept us informed on guidelines and expectations and made the process seamless from beginning to end. The wedding day was beyond our imagination! The venue itself has incredible river views and is just a beautiful venue overall. But the service is where they really shined. The wedding attendant Sonia and Maitre D Debbie treated us like King and Queen for the day and took the utmost care of us. We are so grateful for them and the care they showed us throughout the night, they were truly a blessing and we couldn't thank them enough. Being pregnant on a hot day, I was constantly catered to and accommodated. The food was AMAZING and there was so much of it, our guests are still talking about it to this day. They set up everything so beautifully from the tables, to the cake, to our memory table - they didn't miss a single detail. Thank you to The Grandview for an unforgettable night!!!

There are no words to express the Grandview that would be enough!

5 stars is not enough! From my initial interaction in 2019, i knew the Grandview was the place for my wedding. The Venue is absolutely gorgeous. The outdoor ballroom is where i had my wedding and i tear up just thinking of not only having to reschedule due to covid, but the amazing compassion, empathy and support we received from Margaret and Taylor. The Grandview emailed cdc updates and of course answered my hundreds of questions. They were super responsive and gave me a sense of security that not even my mother could give me about my wedding. When they said the wedding would be fabulous regardless this pandemic they were right. I was fortunate that things started to open up as my wedding approached. The staff are just that "Grand" Sonia was amazing. She took care of myself and my husband's every need. Always right there near us and making sure we and our parents were ok. We just love her so much. The entire staff at the Grandview was amazing and the food well my guests are still talking about it to this day. If could do my wedding all over again i would because it was absolutely perfect. Let's not even talk about the food. Well the food was absolutely delicious. We went to so many tastings and every tasting they added a new station. Whatever you pick will be awesome. My guests are still talking about the obscene amount of food, from cocktail hour to cake. The cake, Kasey captured exactly what we wanted and for a non cake eater like me..well let me just say, i didn't save the top for my first anniversary. I ate it the next morning with my family who showed up at our hotel room the next morning looking for cake. LOL DELICIOUS LOL LOL. This was my second marriage but felt like my first because the way they took care of us. Ceremony view was amazing and the sun was shining after a brief down pour an hour before our ceremony. Sonia really assured us that it will pass and it will be beautiful. Well it did. Again, we thank ALL the staff, from the chefs, cooks, dishwashers, bartenders, cocktail hour staff, busboys/girls, maintenance, valet, shuttle drivers, staff that were assigned specifically to our party and most of all Taylor and Margaret, love them. Best Wedding Ever!

There are not enough words to express my gratitude to The Grandview and their staff! The Grandview is the only venue my now husband and I agreed on seeing in person. After our one and only visit we couldn’t imagine being married anywhere else. The views are breathtaking and the staff makes you feel right at home.

We were smooth sailing with wedding planning until the pandemic hit. As a result, we postponed our wedding two times. Margaret immediately answered every question and concern, call and email (there were many). With the rules and regulations continuously changing here in New York, Margaret was constantly in communication with us with full transparency.

Taylor assisted us in planning the most perfect wedding. Our Maitre’d Deb and Bridal Assistant Sonia couldn’t have been nicer. Our friends and family are still talking about how amazing the food and service was.

I would highly recommend The Grandview to every couple looking to have the best wedding ever!

Amidst COVID wedding planning could only be described as an unmitigated disaster. My fiance (now wife) at the time were very skeptical of what could and could not be done. With continuous regulation changes and a lot of unknown (especially in New York), the absolute stress level was sky-high. That was when we decided to check out The Grandview. Our messages were promptly responded to by Margaret who quickly showed her true colors as one of the most genuine, nicest, and most caring people we have had the pleasure of speaking to. She was friendly, open to ideas, and beyond knowledgeable of everything that a wedding would require and all the steps we needed to do to make it happen.

She and the staff at the Grandview continued to be transparent and remained continuous with their communication informing us of everything regulation and rule changes. Margaret promptly responded to each of our e-mails addressed all of our concerns and made us feel completely at ease with everything day or night. Even though we knew that it was her job to be in the hospitality business she took the time to go absolutely above and beyond what was required to ensure that we were happy, that our needs were met and taken care of, and that even though COVID was an issue ceremony still could happen and that our wants and needs could be met. Margaret also ensured that we would be taken care of fully without issue if COVID reasons caused us to have to cancel or back out. When actions are stronger than words Margaret and her staff proved time and time again that the establishment cared about us and that they would make good on any promise made.

Moving on... To the Tasting ... The food was absolutely amazing although we did not get to try everything we wanted the staff made sure that my now wife and I were catered to and anything we needed was right there for us. The Grandview Still allowed for multiple different options that catered to our wants. We were able to discuss these wants and our options with every staff member that was present. The venue was immaculately clean... and sample sizes were well portioned and we left stuffed.

The venue: The view of this venue is second to none. Overlooking the Hudson river the train and the bridge each view day or night is breathtaking. Due to the size of our wedding, we opted to have our cocktail hour and dinner in the same room. The Table seating worked perfectly for everyone to enjoy their food as well as have the ability to interact and be social while also giving those who were worrisome about the visit to have the ability to be distant enough but still feel fully included, welcomed, and like they could be comfortable taking off their masks for a few minutes to eat their meal. This of course added to the amazing views from three walls of windows.. and the ability to maneuver in and out to the balcony throughout the night.

The wedding night ... Which was perfect... Although limited to 50 or fewer people... and with no dancing (thanks Cuomo you waste) The Grandview worked tirelessly to ensure that everything ran smoothly. Staff members wore masks and gloves and catered to everyone in a manner that was not only professional but also personal which made everyone feel included. They worked with all of our vendors flawlessly and made this night one the most memorable nights in our lives to date. our Maitre'd Debby was next to us every step of the way and like Margaret was one of the most helpful and genuine people. She ensured that every step was flawless from the minute we walked into the door.

In Conclusion ... If you scroll past this venue you are making what I would characterize as a fatal error. The views, the staff, and their skill ensured us every minute and step of the way that we would be taken care of. The quality of the service is second to none and you will have the best night of your life. Although COVID made wedding planning an Unmitigated Disaster, the Granview and its staff used their talents and teamwork to make the night an unequivocal success. DO NOT I mean DO NOT pass this venue up for any reason...

Incredible

If I could give this venue and the staff 100 stars I would. From the moment I walked into those doors, I knew this was the place I wanted to get married. Margaret was incredible, welcoming and so professional. We got engaged right before COVID hit, and throughout the entire planning process, Taylor was there for every question I had. We had no idea what to expect when we decided to have our 50 person micro wedding. But it turned out to be even more perfect than what I hoped for. All of our guests raved about the food and the beautiful views. Our maitre- d and bridal assistant Sonia were absolutely incredible the entire night. There wasn’t a moment we didn’t have a drink or food right by us. If you’re questioning a micro wedding during these crazy times- put your trust in this venue. You will not be disappointed. A Dream Come True!

So my husband and I are just two weeks shy from celebrating our first wedding anniversary and we are still swooning over our day! And I can honestly say without a shadow of a doubt, a huge part of why we are still overly obsessed with our wedding day is all thanks to The Grandview! I can’t begin to explain how extraordinary this venue truly is! From the moment we walked through the doors for our tour we knew that The Grandview was our place. I still remember my sister saying to me as we walked in “you love it already, I can tell” and boy was she right! Every aspect of the venue’s appearance drew me and my husband in; but beyond the lavish decor, breath taking views and fine attention to detail, their customer service is top-notch! During the entire planning process we were treated with the utmost respect and professionalism in a friendly atmosphere. No question or concern we had was left unanswered. As the months until we said “I do” ticked away into days and it came time for our final meeting we knew we were in the best of hands and couldn’t wait for the sun to rise on 9/29/19. When our day finally arrived we couldn’t have been more relaxed or excited to celebrate with our family and friends. Every detail was perfect and we felt like royalty! We and our guests were dazzled by the service, glamour and the culinary experience! So many of our guests expressed that everything from cocktail hour, to our chosen appetizers and entrees, to the I Want It All dessert spectacular was the best food they have ever had at a wedding...no argument there! One guest even pulled me aside on the dance floor to say “the service here is amazing”, again no argument! We simply can not say enough about The Grandview and their exceptional staff! They made the best day of our lives even better than we could have ever dreamed and we are forever grateful! If we could, we would have multiple weddings just to celebrate at The Grandview. Perfect Wedding, Impeccable Service, Kind Staff

If I could give the Grandview an infinite number of stars, I would do it.

Choosing this venue was without a doubt the best decision I made during the wedding planning process. During the uncertain, stressful and ever-changing status of the coronavirus, we were always treated with kindness, respect and flexibility. We had to postpone our wedding to a later date and make a lot of adjustments throughout the months leading up to our wedding due to the virus, and each step of the way, Margaret Brower and her staff accommodated our every request, patiently and helpfully answered all of our (many) questions and ultimately made our wedding day about us. We were not pressured to make any decisions about our wedding that were not in our best interest or within our plan, and I know that is not the case with all wedding venues during this difficult time.

Our wedding was absolutely beautiful. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere and view is breathtaking (they don't call it the "Grandview" for nothing!) and the attention to detail was unmatched--every small favor or request that my family and I asked for was fulfilled and was handled exactly right. The staff worked tirelessly to host an event that was fun, safe and in accordance with all state and federal guidelines relating to the virus. Despite the climate and the status of things, at no point of the day did I feel like I was sacrificing anything by holding my wedding during a worldwide pandemic, and I have the Grandview to thank for that.

I highly, highly recommend this venue. Their prices are reasonable, their service is impeccable, and the people who work there (especially Margaret) are an absolute delight!

The Best Day Ever!

It doesn’t happen often that I’m made speechless but that’s the only way I can express how completely blown away we were at our wedding. From the very beginning Melissa was so professional, accommodating, supportive, and responsive. She answered numerous and endless emails and phone calls without missing a beat. We live in Las Vegas and while planning our wedding long distance had it’s challenges, communicating and designing our vision with Melissa was a seamless and easy process. As we walked into the Grandview on our wedding day, my now husband and I were completely blown away. Tears were brought to my eyes as “our vision” was brought to life in its absolute entirety. Both flawless and breathtaking. Our wedding attendants Val and Debbie were amazing! We always had a drink in our hand and a warm plate of food in front of us. They came to my rescue with safety pins every time my bustle decided to break! If we could rate the Grandview on a scale of 1-10, we'd give them a solid 15. We are so grateful to everyone there for letting us have the best wedding we could have ever imagined. Our guests are still reeling about the amount and quality of food served throughout the night! Jeff and I are so grateful, thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️

100% top notch staff. They make you feel like you're their top priority, and will do anything to ensure your happiness. Food was copious and 5 star, drinks were all top shelf, and wow does the venue look incredible! Views to the Mid-Hudson Bridge and down south on the Hudson... Absolutely stunning.

I wish i can re-live my wedding day every day!

We had the best day of our lives! The Grandview has our hearts forever. Dan and I got married on Friday Aug 30th, and had our Chinese Tea Ceremony on their outside patio & our Reception in the Grand Ballroom. It was picturesque and could not have been more perfect. The Grandview went out of their way to make sure we had EVERYTHING we needed. From greeting our guests with such hospitality on arrival, to making sure all of our needs were met through the end of our stay. Victor and Shady were on top of their game. They had water & juices ready for my bridal party as we took pictures in the marina with the beaming hot sun. My bustle broke,
and the attendants fixed it immediately, so I can continue to dance with my guests all night. Everyone made us feel so loved and so special on our day. Most importantly, THE FOOD! Cocktail hour was incredible! Our guests were so IMPRESSED by the presentation, taste, & efficiency of the whole day. The amenities at the Grandview are truly worth every penny. To top it all off, I cannot say enough about our wedding coordinators Melissa & Margaret. They were such a dream to work with during my months of planning. From the moment we met Melissa, we knew we were in good hands. She is so professional, detail-oriented and executes any brides vision plus some. Look no further than the Grandview for your special day. Our guests continue to tell us, "THIS IS THE BEST WEDDING WE HAVE EVER BEEN TO!" What an experience, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Best Venue

The Grandview is simply amazing! From the staff to the food and scenery, there’s nothing that goes unnoticed. The food is diverse in style and culture, and all of it is amazing. There’s no shortage of food, all our guests commented on how tasty it was, and how stuffed they were by the end of the night. The scenery is gorgeous, and is the perfect backdrop for a wedding, no matter the season. The staff is very attentive, and is constantly assuring the bride and groom are happy, calm, fed, and having a good time. Would get married all over again just to have another wedding at The Grandview!

"Best day ever" experience

The Grandview is an amazing place to get married or for a special event. I cannot describe how amazing our wedding was at the Grandview. The staff is attentive, professional, and friendly. Between the incredible views, delicious foods, and staff, the Grandview has it all. Our guests could not get over how much food was served and how every dish tasted excellent. We have received so many compliments on our wedding and we truly enjoyed our day. I highly recommend the Grandview for weddings. Our day could not have been better. Thank you to the Grandview and their staff for all they do!!

Exceeded our expectations! Top notch.

We didn't think we were going to go with a "banquet hall" for our wedding, but The Grandview's Outdoor Ballroom is the BEST of all worlds - the ceremony site flows seamlessly into cocktail hour and the reception, with beautiful photo ops on the terrace and down by the water. This venue gives all the perks of a nature-filled setting, with none of the stress of a DIY wedding. I can't imagine having done it differently, looking back. They took care of us every step of the way leading up to the big day, and on our wedding day we didn't have a care in the world, and didn't have to lift a finger. Rather than stressing about setting up decor, timing, or cleaning up, we could just enjoy our bliss filled day. P.s everyone raved about the abundant and delicious food, and said it was one of the best weddings they've EVER been to. :) Thanks Grandview!

Amazingly wonderful

I've been to weddings here before and when I started looking I knew this is where I wanted mine. Beautiful scenery, wonderful staff, and great outdoor tent. Every single staff member I dealt with was wonderful. Whoever I emailed (and I sent a lot of them in a day or a week), never came off annoyed at the amount I sent, always answered in a timely manner and always found me an answer to my questions. I could not figure out what kind of cake I wanted, so I went back and forth emailing photos back and forth to make sure I knew what everything meant. Some people were late for our rehearsal, but we weren't rushed. Melissa waited until we absolutely couldn't wait any longer. I dealt with her 90% of the time, but if she was out of the office or something, someone else would email me with my answers. Everyone on my wedding day was wonderful. Brought my husband and I something from every table during cocktail hour and let us have our time alone, but made sure they were there if we needed them. They brought us in the ballroom before cocktail hour was over to make sure it was what we wanted. Something was out of place, I pointed it out and they were fixing it a second later. Always bringing my husband and I drinks throughout the night and making sure we have everything we needed. My wonderful husband put the cake in my face and got it on my dress a little, they brought me in the bridal suit and helped me clean up right away. Food was wonderful! The array of food at cocktail hour was amazing. I am being told still to this day, 3 months later, how good the food and drinks were.

Overall, they were wonderful. Whoever I dealt with knew everything about my wedding and made sure to help in any way possible.

The Perfect Venue For Our Perfect Day

My husband and I chose The Grandview for our wedding day because it is stunning both inside and out. We were married outside on a beautiful, sunny June day overlooking the Hudson River. Our reception took place in the indoor ballroom, which was equally as beautiful with candles creating a romantic glow on all tables, along with our rose gold table runners and pale pink up-lighting.
Melissa made sure everything was perfect the day of and was so wonderful to work with throughout the whole planning process. Any questions I needed answered were just a quick and simple email response back.
Our wedding attendant, Shady, was an absolute doll the day of. She never missed a beat making sure my husband and I had anything we could possibly need every second of the night.
We cannot say enough about our wonderful experience of having our wedding at The Grandview.
Thank you again to Melissa, Margaret, Ryan, Shady and Victor for caring as much about our wedding day as we did. Our friends and family are still talking about how delicious the food was and how gorgeous it all turned out!
We are forever grateful

The best day ever!!

Wow!! I can not express enough how absolutely perfect The Grandview was for our wedding! From the first time viewing the venue up until our wedding day everything was perfect!! The Grandview was the first and only venue myself and my husband looked at for our wedding. We knew right away that was the spot for us! The staff are all so unbelievably kind and professional. Planning up to our big day we worked with Melissa and Ryan and they are both amazing! They know their stuff. Rosie and Nicole were our wedding attendants and they were wonderful! They were so friendly and made me and my husband feel so special! We found out it was Nicole's first wedding and she did amazing! We never would have known! Perfect job. The cocktail hour staff, reception/dinner staff, bartender.. all so wonderful! The food and drinks were top notch. All of our guests were raving about the food.. you will not go hungry! The Grandview also has a bridal suite available to you with your own bathroom and a room to have to yourself if you need some time to yourself for a moment or to freshen up. The location on the Hudson river can not be beat and is perfect for photos. I could go on and on about how wonderful everything was. My and my husband were so blown away by everything and can not thank The Grandview staff enough! 10/10 would absolutely reccomend!

The Grandview made our wedding day the best day ever!

Where do I even begin? The Grandview was absolutely amazing from the very beginning when we toured the venue up until the very end. The Grandview made our wedding day so special. Despite the rain it was still everything we had hoped for and more! It was the best day ever! The Grandview made it all happen. First, we had the pleasure to have Margaret as our coordinator and she helped us plan every last detail so flawlessly. I truly enjoyed telling her all of our wedding planning highlights and freak outs lol. Second, Sonia our Bridal attendant was the absolute best! I like to call her a ninja as she kept appearing out of no where with margaritas, water, and even found my flip flops. She made me feel at ease and that is something I’ll truly never forget. Last, Angel our Maitre D' what else can I say but OUTSTANDING. He is the absolute best and I’m not just saying that because he provided us with the most beautiful flowers. He was with us EVERY step of the way and made the night run smoothly. From my pre walking down the aisle nerves, to finding my bouquet to toss, to finding my marriage certificate he was an actual ANGEL. The food and service was so outstanding our guests are still talking about it two weeks later. We had so much fun we almost wish we were a guest at our own wedding lol.

Amazing planning and wedding day experience.

I was so incredibly thrilled by the experience and service at the Grandview. We chose the Grandview because of the awesome view of the river and bridge which made for amazing pictures. But really everything about our wedding day and wedding planning experience with the Grandview was amazing. We worked with coordinator Melissa Baez. She was warm, friendly, supportive and professional. She was super organized and responsive. She was on top of everything and was generally a delight to work with. On our actual wedding day, all of the staff was amazing. I never had to worry about a thing. All of our guests were cared for incredibly. The food was amazing. The staff constantly made sure my wife and I were ok. They really do an amazing job and work hard to make sure you have everything you need.

Absolutely Perfect!

Our wedding at The Grandview went absolutely perfectly. I didn't intend to impress my guests, I only wanted to host them well but I got much better than planned. I was initially impressed with Janelle during our first visit and when comparing Grandviews packages to many, many others in the area, I just couldn't justify going anywhere else. The Bonura Group in general has nailed the hospitality thing. My husband and I, as well as all of my family, were treated like VIPs the entire day. They didn't miss a beat, everything was set up beautifully and better than I could have imagined. We were taken care of at every step of the way.

All of my guests are still raving about the food and desserts! We elected to do a stations wedding because it was earlier in the day and provided our guests with more options in a social atmosphere - so glad we did! Everyone loved it.

We were a relatively small wedding for this venue but I feel as though I received the same impressive level of service as any other bride. I would highly recommend a visit. If you do book, you can rest easy that you will be taken care of every step of the way.

Best day of our lives!

This review is long overdue. My husband and I got married at The Grandview on November 8, 2018. Let me start by saying the biggest compliment I can pay them is everyone who attended the wedding can't stop talking about the service, the food, and the ambiance. I will forever be in debt to Melissa for assisting us through this entire process. She was such a pleasure to work with. Angel, our maitre d' and our ceremony florist, had everything flowing smoothly, and made sure everything looked beautiful. He is a such a beautiful person. Sonia our head server was fantastic! At one point, I was about to lose my composure because my nerves were getting the best of me. She pulled me to the side and she reminded me to stay present in the moment and to take the moment in. She was truly a calming presence and words can't describe how fortunate we were to have her.

The main take away from this experience is I wouldn't change a thing! It was the best day of our lives and we owe a great debt of gratitude to everyone at the Grandview!

The PERFECT venue for our Wedding Day

We could not be happier with our experience at the Grandview!!
The entire staff was so fantastic to work with and really made our dream wedding a reality! Margaret, Janelle and Melissa were so great and responsive and really took all of our ideas and executed them in the best way!
The food was OUTSTANDING! You should absolutely attend a tasting event before your wedding, you will not regret it!
The operations day of were perfect and each and every member of the team was so in tune with amazing customer service.

I cannot say enough amazing things about the Grandview other than besides choosing to spend the rest of my life with my amazing wife, choosing the Grandview as our wedding venue was the best decision we made. We felt so accepted there from the start, which was a large part of why we chose it. Janelle, Margaret and the rest of the staff were just outstanding, especially our bridal attendant for the day, Sonia! The whole planning process was made so much smoother because of Janelle's help and any time I had a question, she was there to answer it immediately. Literally everything about the Grandview was perfect--the food, the decor, the service, and most of all the spectacular setting in the outdoor tent (including the amazing sunset we were treated to!). We're thrilled to say that many of guests have told us our wedding was a "top 10" for them because of how beautiful it was. And we couldn't have done that all without the help of the Grandview! They may do plenty of weddings a year and be thought of as a wedding "factory" because of their amazing inclusive package, but we never felt we were "just another wedding" while working with them. They truly know how to execute a vision and make dreams become a reality.

The Grandview truly lives up to its name and overlooks the beautiful Hudson River. This was only one of the many elements that this remarkable establishment had to offer that immediately caught our attention when looking for wedding venues. We instantly fell in love with the location, beauty and elegance of the indoor ballroom, and hospitality of the entire staff.
The Grandview’s director, Margaret, gave us extraordinary care and a truly unique experience throughout the planning process. She went above and beyond, catering to our every need. She is extremely attentive, engaging, genuine, and professional. Her level of commitment towards making our wedding day perfect really puts her in a league of her own.
The day of our wedding, 7/21/2018, they continued to exceed our expectations. Sonya (Maitre D) is a cut above the rest. She oversaw all the fine details and had exceptional communication between the staff and vendors. She orchestrated and executed everything so flawlessly, prioritizing us at every moment. I also want to praise Angel (head server) who is a Jack-of-all-trades. Not only does he craft the exquisite floral arrangements at the Grandview, he provided us a kind of service like no other. He’s genuine, humble, professional, very skilled and proficient of his work, and a true artist. Furthermore, their cake artist is absolutely brilliant and a master of her craft. We had a very unique & technical cake design and she executed it perfectly. When she presented it to us, it actually took our breath away! Additionally, the food was exquisite and undeniably supreme!
It really is surreal & overwhelmingly satisfying to have your plans come to fruition. We are so grateful for the Grandview and their entire staff for making our once-in-a-lifetime experience possible & elevate it to perfectly capture and express my husband’s and my love for each other. Overall, their standard of excellence far exceeds all others and their remarkable service is unparalleled!

Deciding to choose the Grandview was the best decision ever! Not only is it beautiful inside and out, the staff was some of the best I have worked with in the hospitality industry. The Grandview made our vision come to life. Throughout my entire engagement, the staff was there to answer any questions I had and help make our dreams become a reality. The pastry chef was amazing and created our custom five tier wedding cake to perfection. The food is outstanding and the view is spectacular. I would recommend The Grandview to any engaged couple!!

The Grandview was an amazing location to have the reception for our wedding. Everyone was wonderful from the very first meeting to packing up our belongings after all the festivities had finished. The Grandview knows their events - they will make your wedding planning process so much easier! We had our reception in the ballroom and we worked with Margaret, who walked us through choosing our menu - guiding us to make sure we chose a solid variety for our guests and still making sure we got all of the food we wanted. You can attend multiple tastings, too, to try their offerings - I think you’d have to go to 5 to see all of their choices! Day of, everything ran smoothly - Angel, the maitre d, was on top of everything and made sure we had everything we needed. We also had some extras, like a memorial table and a fallen soldier table, that they set up without a hitch. All of our guests had a fantastic time and loved the food, the cake - you can’t go wrong at the Grandview!

The Grandview was far and away our best decision for our wedding. From start to finish they took care of us and accommodated our every need. We ended up working with Margaret, Melissa and Janelle and all three were super friendly, helpful and most importantly incredibly patient. They helped us plan the perfect evening and their services were invaluable. We cannot thank them enough!

The staff at the Grandview were incredible. Between setting up our place cards, memorial table, and special decorations, our evening had such a special and unique feel to it thanks to their wonderful work. The entire night our guests could not stop complimenting how great the food was and how wonderful the service was. We would like to give a special thank you to our Maitre D Angel, and head server Vanessa who were outstanding. They were always at arms length ready to help us with every request big and small and had no problem accommodating some last minute ad hoc requests.

We loved everything about the Grandview and would strongly recommend it to any couple looking for a spectacular venue!

From the moment I walked into the Grandview, I knew it was going to be a perfect wedding venue. What I didn’t know, was how truly wonderful the service and staff would be throughout the entire planning process. My fiancé and I worked with Margaret and she was absolutely wonderful. She patiently listened to all of our questions, gave us great advice and really helped us through the planning process so that we were fully able to enjoy our day. The staff at the Grandview was amazing; assisting my family during photos, setting up all of our wedding items and checking in with all of our vendors. During the reception, the staff gave exceptional service, even cocktailing drinks to a few of my older guests. The facility was clean, beautiful and very well maintained. If you’re considering a wedding venue in Poughkeepsie, look no further than the Grandview!

Our wedding day was absolutely spectacular as a result of the superior service provided by the Grandview. Throughout the planning process Margaret was there to answer every question we could possibly think of. On the day of, Victor and Debbie took care of every minute detail, and walked us through the venue to ensure it met our expectations. The staff is very attentive whether its making sure your drink gets filled when it’s getting low or making sure you have each type of food from your cocktail hour, you are in good hands. The in-house bakery did a gorgeous job designing our cake. The venue was beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the food was delicious! We wish we could relive our wedding day just to enjoy the venue one more time!

We got married at The Grandview on 10/14/17 and it was absolutely amazing! The venue name speaks for itself because their view is spectacular!! We do not have a single negative thing to say about this venue. The staff was so sweet and professional. We worked with Margaret and she felt like and old friend! She's sweet, patient, professional, flexible and answered all emails promptly. We live in the DC area so planning so many states away was very hectic but Margaret really made it simple and helped to take as much stress off us as possible! She went absolutely above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. The food, drinks and dessert are to die for!!! Our guests are still talking about it a month after the wedding!! We cannot recommend The Grandview enough! Thank you for making our wedding unforgettable!!

We could not say enough good things about the Grandview!! From our first visit, to the end of the wedding day, we were consistently blown away by the level of service, care, delicious food, absolutely gorgeous setting, and did we say delicious food? We spent countless hours and miles in our car searching for the perfect wedding venue option. The moment we walked in, our jaws dropped and excitement set in. We were planning a wedding from out of state, and they helped us through the process. They coach you through each step, providing clear instructions and helpful lists, giving you an idea of what the day looks like, what is expected from you, and what they are doing as well. The wedding couple gets treated like royalty for a day, with someone always caring for you, helping you, filling your drink, making sure you have food, helping with timing of when to walk down the aisle, I mean everything. It takes the stress of the wedding day out - and you can simply enjoy the best day of your life. They make it more than just a hired venue and service. They take the time, care, and attention to not just meet the expectations, but make sure you are happy. On a day filled with emotion, weight, and importance in your life, they get that. We were in disbelief with the food. The options and stations and ideas are fun, creative, classy, and sure to be a WOW factor to your guests. We had a GORGEOUS cake done for us, and it matched perfectly to the photo inspiration we provided. The scenery and setting, is unbeatable. It is also cost effective for what you get. We created so many pricing, pros and cons lists, but Grandview was the best. Lastly, we would like to thank all staff, from the bottom of our hearts, for all the hard work that was put in to make our day what it was. It wouldn't have been the same anywhere else. We could not tell you how many of our guests said it was the best wedding they ever attended in their life. Here's to many more happy couples being married there!!!

You guys were more than amazing. So tentative and for such an emotional day, giving my circumstances with losing my mom last month , you guys went above and beyond to relate personally (my bridal attendant) and make sure the night was perfect. I have received so many compliments on the food, wait staff and scenery. I would recommend the Grandview to everyone and anyone. From the moment I got there I felt like a princess. I Really couldn't have asked for a better venue to host such a memorable night. Thank you guys so, so much.

Margaret, Sonia and Angel were AMAZING to work with. Margaret was so detailed and organized and was always very responsive with any questions we had. Sonia was my saving grace! My strap broke and she fixed it right away and Angel did such a great job of taking care of everyone. We haven't received a Single negative feedback, the entire staff was on point and made my wedding day more perfect than I can imagine. Thank you everyone for making it so special

Our wedding was amazing. From the initial visit to the last song, the staff was amazing. Our head server, Sonya, was always right there to meet our every need, as was the wonderful maitre d. My guests were in awe with the views and the beautiful grounds, as were my husband and I. The food was spectacular... Every person raved about it! My only complaint is that we had to end the night at 10:30 pm because of the apartment complex next door and the noise ordinance in the town. My one suggestion to the Grandview would be to try to fight that to allow people more time to enjoy the events.

My fiance and I were so happy with the service, the food, our wedding attendant and maitre D were awesome. They helped me so much when things went wrong. You made us happy when we were down when some mishaps came up. Thank you so much for everything you did for us. Our guests were in awe about the donut wall curtain rising and also the bar curtain rising. Everyone loved the food and cake more than other weddings that they attended.

Our wedding day was everything and more we ever dreamed of! From the very start, they were very responsive and flexible with all of our questions and suggestions making it an easy process till the final day!! On our big day, everything was like clock work .. Our maitre de's ( we had 2 of them) ensured the entire wedding party was always looked after, the servers were very attentive to all our guests and the view is without saying breath taking, their attention to detail and presentation was ON point!!! I wish I could give the Grandview more than 5 stars! They are an absolutely INCREDIBLE wedding venue!!! We had our wedding in the outdoor ballroom, and the view and ambiance was absolutely breathtaking. We planned the wedding long-distance from Nevada, without a wedding planner, and the staff at Grandview made long-distance planning seem like a breeze! They are so responsive, and they go above and beyond to make sure every detail is perfect. They set up our decorations perfectly, and even added little touches that matched our colors. The food was amazing, especially the cocktail hour!!! So much delicious food. My husband and I were so busy talking to guests during the cocktail hour, but when we went back to our suite, they had made us a plate of each appetizer to have. Angel and Sonya checked in on us throughout the night and made sure my husband and I were always taken care of. I highly recommend the Grandview!! They will make the planning and your actual wedding day stress-free, enjoyable, and amazing.

I cannot say enough good things about The Grandview. Our day turned out absolutely perfect and we owe a huge thank you to The Grandview and their amazing staff for that. First off, we love Margaret! She calmed any worries we had up until the night before our big day. She was instrumental in keeping us calm and on track during the entire process. Victor and Cait made our big day incredible! They were there every step of the way making sure we were happy with everything and making us feel at ease and particularly special. A HUGE thank you to Cait who did not hesitate to throw her body in front of a sprinkler on the dock for me (shortly after taking a fall for me - this will be a moment we will never forget). All of our family could not stop raving about how amazing the staff was the entire night, incredibly attentive and friendly! And THE FOOD - phenomenal! EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! The Grandview was absolutely spectacular! I can't speak highly enough about the staff! From all the guidance and support I received from Melissa Baez and Margeret Bower to the staff the day of the wedding. You truly do not need to worry about a single thing the day of your wedding - they will take care of you. My Husband and I looked at many vendors up and down NY state as our family is split across the state (Western NY and NYC). When we visited The Grandview I immediately felt like Melissa understood what we were looking in a wedding venue. She helped us every step of the way and answered every question we had! Melissa ended up leaving on maternity leave just a few months before our wedding. I was nervous since I had only really worked with her the during my year of planning. As you can expect, Margaret picked up right where Melissa left off and didn't miss a beat!! It was fabulous!! The venue is absolutely gorgeous!! If you have the opportunity to go to a tasting or a wedding show at the venue I would highly recommend it (they are a lot of fun and a great way to see what venue)! Our wedding day was perfect. The cocktail hour is like nothing I have seen before. The guest raved about all the food and how spectacularly it was presented! Dinner was amazing - well prepared and very timely. Although there were MANY desserts options, we chose a few of the options but my husband and I chose to create our own spectacular desserts options too. The team was so accommodating. We had Greek and Italian pastries, cookies, ice cream bar, cannoli filling station, Groomsman cake and so much more! They made our vision come true beyond belief. Our guests continue to RAVE about the wedding, presentation and perfect professionalism of everyone at The Grandview. We had the time of our life at our wedding!! Everything was perfect the day of our wedding. Margaret, Angel and Katelyn were all exceptional! They made sure everything went smoothly. Katelyn was always there on my side throughout the whole event and did a great job with my wedding dress mishap. We received many compliments about the view, the food, the tent and just the whole venue.
We decided to go with the brunch pampered package, which gave us access to beautiful shots on the marina and they provided a perfect amount of selection of food for the bridal party. The Grandview view crew were there for us throughout our whole wedding planning journey. It was such an amazing, unforgettable experience. We highly recommended this place.

If not for the fact that I'm writing this review from my cellphone at 6am this would be about ten pages- of praise. I'll keep it simple- book your wedding here. My wife and I were in the outdoor Ballroom/ tent on Labor Day weekend. Amazing. Theres nothing more to say other than this place is awesome, the staff is awesome, and there is no other place to book in the Hudson Valley... maybe even New York as a whole.

Our venue couldn't be better, prettier and just the most beautiful place for wedding!!! Beautiful view on Hudson River and the way they treat you for that money is incredible!!! I am super grateful for Gabi and Sofia. Angel safes our ceremony when our florist forgot flowers for one bridesmaid!

The Grandview was absolutely wonderful! They have of course a beautiful venue, but more importantly an incredible team of staff members! From sales, to our on-site coordinator and maître d - everyone was so friendly and great to work with! Our on-site coordinator was so attentive to myself and my husband all night! Making sure we were getting food, topping off our drinks, and making sure we got the photos we wanted, especially down by the water. We had so many compliments on our wedding venue from the beautiful scenery and views to the amazing food. Everyone loved the food! I can't say enough good things about the Grandview!

We were privileged to celebrate our daughter’s wedding in the outdoor ballroom of the Grandview this past Saturday. We had looked at other venues, but from the moment we first stepped into the outdoor ballroom and adjacent outdoor ceremony space, even though it was the dead of winter, our daughter and future son-in-law knew that this would be the perfect venue for them. Margaret, along with Melissa and the rest of the Grandview staff were as friendly, knowledgeable and professional as it gets. They made the whole planning process a breeze and were so helpful and accommodating. Additionally, we relied on Margaret’s recommendations for vendors, and they were great as well. We provided a number of items to be placed at various locations for the wedding. When we walked into the space we were blown away at how beautifully and creatively everything had been set up, not to mention the million-dollar view as a backdrop. All of our guests raved about the food, the service, the cake, everything. Many told us this was the best wedding they had ever been to. We also want to note that Sonia was terrific and her attention to detail was amazing. Angel, our Maître D’ and his staff were fantastic and so attentive in the nicest way. How thrilling to know you have given your child the wedding of her dreams.

My husband and I had our first date in 2012 at Shadows on the Hudson, and got engaged in 2015 on the waterfront path below Shadows, so it seemed only fitting for us to consider the Grandview as our wedding venue. I met Margaret at a wedding expo, and she completely blew me away with the many wonderful features that the Grandview has to offer. We visited the Grandview, among some other venues, and nothing compared with the incredible service, delicious food, and professional staff that the Grandview provides. Margaret and her team supported us throughout each step of the planning process, answering and clarifying our many questions, thus making our experience an enjoyable one. The tasting events held each month truly give you a sense of what your wedding will feel like; with the incredible cocktail hour and dinner served by the Grandview’s wonderful wait staff. Our final meeting with Margaret was filled with excitement, and we felt comfortable that the staff would make our vision come to life. On the day of the wedding, the staff was attentive not only to our needs, but also to our family and guests. Everyone raved about the food, the service, and the beautiful views of the Hudson River. I think I was probably a nightmare to work with because of all the times things changed and because my mom is very particular, but Margaret and everyone at the Grandview were amazing!! They handled everything in stride and went well above and beyond to make everything perfect. We had 8 kids (between 4-10) and 17 babies (9 months - 3 yrs) at our wedding so we asked to have an activity table set up, which the Grandview did. I got some activity books, stickers, crayons, candy, and legos for the table and the staff set it up for me. I had so many parents tell us how great a time the kids had because of that table! We needed a prayer area for my family, they took care of that. We wanted an open bar, but no alcohol in anything common, they did it. Halal meat, no pork, all taken care of. We added a stage a couple months before the wedding, no problem. And everyone was SO nice. My mom had a couple meltdowns the day of, but they did their best to get everything resolved and didn't really tell me. On top of all that, the venue is gorgeous and the food is amazing. They also brought us all the cocktail hour food that we missed because of pictures to the bridal suite and then when we didn't eat that, they packed it all up for us to take home! I would book every event I ever have here.

10/10! I don't know what I would have done without Margaret at the Grandview. Not only was the venue and food everything I wanted (down to a funfetti wedding cake), but almost all of my other vendor recommendations came from them and were perfect as well! The team here really has the details nailed down. A quick anecdote to demonstrate their greatness: my florist did not bring the flowers that were to be placed on the cake, and because of that, the cake looked a little bare. In doing our walk through with our site coordinator, I mentioned this detail, and the next time I saw the cake, they had added several beautiful blooms to the cake that made it even more than what I was expecting. I can't say enough good things about them!!

The staff at the Grandview is so accommodating and very professional. We were supposed to be married outside but the weather did not allow that but they set the tent up beautifully and arranged all the flowers perfectly without us even saying a word. The staff was helpful and attentive. All of our guests raved about the food and we still receive comments on how delicious the cake was! Highly recommend using the Grandview.

I can't even begin to list the reasons every bride or groom needs to visit the Grandview before making a decision on a venue. We knew from the minute we were introduced to Margaret, our every need would be met.

Our wedding was on 9/24/16, and everyone in attendance couldn't stop talking about how everything was perfect. The food was talked about as being the best people have ever eaten at a wedding, the view of the Hudson is gorgeous (especially in the fall), and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating.

The Grandview worked seamlessly with our other vendors as well, and the entire day was amazing from start to finish. We had the wedding of our dreams!

Best wedding venue in the Hudson Valley hands down! Our experience was top notch from start to finish. Margaret was amazing helping me plan my entire wedding from another state! She was responsive to my many questions, helped me pick vendors, and was there for anything I needed. She made sure to accommodate all of our out of state needs and work with us the make the year long journey nothing but easy. We considered the venue very affordable for our budget but they never skimp on any luxury. We and our guests were treated like royalty. Our guests RAVED about the location and drop dead gorgeous view, the beautiful setup, the AMAZING food, MORE amazing food, and the incredible service. Victor our maître d' was absolutely incredible - he made sure we were ALWAYS taken care of and always had a drink in our hand, made sure we had plenty of food, and coordinated the entire wedding seamlessly. Our guests raved about him personally because he was just that impressive. His staff was amazing as well - making sure the bridal party was personally attended to, my dress was always perfect, and I was always happy. There wasn't one thing left untouched. This venue is absolutely amazing and we could go on and on about it, just like our guests did. Our day and entire planning experience was magical thanks to The Grandview.

The Grandview was an absolute pleasure to work with from the very beginning. Every employee we dealt with (especially you Margaret- you're amazing) went above and beyond to answer our many questions and make our wedding day perfect. We got married in the outdoor ballroom and were blown away by how stunning the space was- no uplighting or additional decoration needed. It rained on and off throughout the reception and the staff was quick to open and close the sides of the tent when the weather changed. The service was perfect, we received so many compliments from guests on how attentive the wait staff was. Michael and Caitlin, our maitre d and bridal attendant, were wonderful, making sure our drinks were full and we were eating enough! To top it all off, the food was outstanding. A year after our wedding, we can't think of a single thing we would change about the Grandview. They made our wedding planning as stress free and seamless as possible, and we couldn't be happier we chose to get married there. The Grandview (and Shadows) will always hold a special place in our hearts!

We got married at the Grandview on July 3, 2016. We first toured and met with the staff in August 2014. Immediately we fell in love with the venue and the breathtaking views of the Hudson River from their outdoor ceremony location. We worked with Melissa and Mike and they were amazing at answering all of our questions and ensuring that our day would be as magical as we were hoping it would be. And they were right! I asked my husband before I wrote this if he had any complaints and he could not think of one. The Grand View went above and beyond! They made our big day perfect and made sure everything was taken care of so I and my our families could enjoy our day as much as possible. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

The Grandview was incredible. We received so many compliments from our guests about the food, service and of course the amazing venue. You simply cannot beat the panaramic views of the Hudson River and the extraordinary space venue has. The service was great and the staff was so accomodating to us as the bride and groom throughout the whole wedding and even throughout the wedding planning process. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a magical wedding. Thanks to the staff for everything!

I would 100% recommend the Grandview to anyone bride and groom! They patiently answered my and my husband's numerous emails and phone calls and when the big day came I didn't want for anything! Every time I turned around either my head waiter or Maitre D' was standing behind me with a fresh drink, holding my train, handing us food or holding my flowers. I have had numerous guests contact us to rave about the location, servers and food! They even managed to change my ceremony location of the fly when a tornado blew through the area! I can not say enough good things about the Grandview!!

The Grandview was an absolutely perfect venue! The outdoor ceremony space was fantastic and shaded perfectly for the big moment. The outdoor ballroom was beautiful and we are still getting compliments from our guests on how pretty the venue was and how delicious and abundant the food was. What really impressed my wife and I was the incredible personal service we received from Michael and Sonya, both of them were exceptionally helpful and could not have possibly been any more accommodating helping us with every detail of the day no matter how minor. The waitstaff was also top notch and we have received numerous compliments on how great the service was throughout the reception. The Grandview staff as a whole was extremely organized from top to bottom which helped take some of the stress of wedding planning away for us as we knew we could trust them to make it all come together. I would recommend this venue to anyone planning an event, a truly professional group that knows what they are doing and it shows!

My husband and I just had our reception at The Grandview and it was the best experience of our lives! Everything was perfect! Victor, the maître d' was awesome. Shout out to Margaret for the wonderful help during the two years of preparation. The waiters and waitress couldn't have been better. It is definitely apparent that everyone likes working there.

My husband and I got married in the outdoor tent at the Grandview and it was everything we could have ever asked for! We worked with Melissa throughout the process and she was excellent. Every time we walked out of a meeting with her we both felt more relaxed and confident that we picked the right venue. Michael and Caitlin were our attendants on the wedding day and they were incredible! They went above and beyond making sure we were taken care of so all we had to worry about was enjoying time with our guests. All of our guests raved about the food and the service. Couldn't have asked for a better venue and team to work with. Thank you grandview!

The best place to have our wedding! Everything was absolutely perfect. Mike was our maitre'd and helped make our event flawless! He made sure every thing was timed correctly, checked the weather leading up to the outdoor ceremony, and made sure that we had anything we wanted. The venue was so helpful as I was planning my wedding, always delightful to work with even when I had silly little questions about table arrangements or food pairings. They have tastings pretty regularly that really help you select the best food that will fit your event. But you can't go wrong with whatever you pick. Their food is always delicious. The staff really goes out of their way to make you feel special. I didn't live in the area so whenever I went for my appointments, they helped get as much done each time and were always flexible if I wanted to change anything over the phone or email. They will work with whatever image you want of your wedding! And the wedding day itself was perfect all because of them. It had rained for two weeks before my wedding and there was a high chance of rain that night but they kept an eye on the radar and reassured me that my outdoor ceremony would work! And it was timed perfectly. The sun broke through the clouds for a few minutes during the ceremony, everybody moved inside for the cocktail hour, and then it poured! We were in the tent outside so that meant the sides had to be rolled down to keep the weather out but it was still wonderful. We still had beautiful views of the Hudson River and the Mid Hudson bridge that night was beautiful. Everybody had a blast at the wedding and I received many comments about how elegant and perfect the venue was. You really can't pick a better venue for views, food, and just overall service!

Fantastic venue right on the Hudson River. Great for photographs around sunset and on the waterfront. Very flexible and accommodating for our Indian wedding!

I do not even know where to begin. I got married a week ago and I still tear up thinking about how perfect everything was. From our first visit with Melissa to our wedding day with Victor and Caitlyn we are more than happy that we chose the Grandview. The food and service could not of been better. They know what they are doing and think of things I did not. They helped calm my nerves on my wedding day and were so attentive to our guests and us. You cannot put a price on the service and the amount of stress they take away from you. Thank you so much to everyone at the Grandview from the bottom of my heart. You made our wedding day PERFECT in every single way!!

My review is a little overdue, but there isn't anything new I can really say that all of the other reviewers haven't already mentioned! The Grandview was the perfect venue for us and it was the best decision we made when planning our wedding! We loved working with Margaret and the rest of the staff!! They were all so personable, supportive and responsive all of which made the process stress free which is what you definitely want when working with a venue. The site is just beautiful, and we enjoyed having both the ballroom and tent for our event. It was large enough for our Indian/American wedding which was a huge plus, and we were very impressed by their willingness to work with us on our unique requirements. All of our guests were so impressed by the views, food and experience they had at The Grandview and still rave about our wedding! I would without a doubt recommend The Grandview and if you're from the lower Hudson Valley/North Jersey area like us still consider the venue and don't over look it because of the hour drive. There are a number of great hotels in the area which allowed us to choose The Grandview as a mini-destination wedding without having to leave the State. Overall we LOVED The Grandview and wish we can be invited back as guests to a wedding there!

The Grandview is top notch! Melissa, my sales manager was amazing! She was on top of everything from the minute I booked and made sure every little detail was included that we asked for. We attended many of the dinner tastings (included in booking) and found the food to be wonderful. At our final appointment, we met our Maître D Michael who was upbeat and super friendly. The day of our wedding, we did not have to ask for anything. It was almost as if they could hear us thinking. If you thought of something you needed, it appeared seconds later. The bridal attendant, Vanessa was on top of making sure we were well taken care of. Not one of our guests complained about service or the food, as I have had happen at other events. Our wedding did not feel "cookie cutter" and they personalized our tables just as we had envisioned. I definitely recommend The Grandview for all your catering/venue needs - they are definitely above all the rest!

The grandview was the absolute perfect venu for my September 2015 nuptials. They took care of every need and the staff was supportive and very nice with my bridal party and more importantly, my guest. The view was fantastic. I spent money but if I was going to, it would be for the best. And the Grandview is the best.

15. We were looking for wedding venues for about 3 months that would fit both of our styles. When we came across The Grandview and we instantly fell in love. I had always dreamed of having an outside wedding and when we saw they offered an outside ceremony space and a tent for the reception that was it! Knowing our ceremony would be outside overlooking the Hudson and the mountains as well as our reception I knew our dream wedding would come true. The team at The Grandview are absolutely remarkable! We met with Brent and Margaret who helped design our day. Our cake came out exactly what we pictured! Michael and Kendra were amazing!!! Our son had gotten sick and Kendra attended to his needs. Michael is so personable and loves what he does. He is literally the sweetest man. Anything we needed all we had to do was turn around and Michael and Kendra were there ready to assist. It was an absolute pleasure working with the staff and sharing our day with them. The food was AMAZING!!! Our guests still rave about how wonderful the food was and the abundant selection and quality of the food and drink. Our wedding was an absolute fairytale and we cannot thank The Grandview enough for helping us create the wedding of our dreams!

This is a long overdue review. I had my wedding here on June 28, 2015. It was one of the best day of my life! My husband and I would give The Grandview and their staff a million stars if we can. They were absolutely amazing from start to finish. I was looking for an outdoor wedding with a tent look. After scouring the web and pinterest for places I might consider for my wedding venue, I stumbled upon The Grandview on a random google search one Saturday morning and immediately called and spoke to Margaret over the phone. I did not have a wedding planner. I was my own wedding planner and at first, I felt a bit overwhelmed. Margaret is great to work with. I had so many questions during the process but she was able to answer them all each time I sent her an email. She made it so easy and simple for me.
On the day of our wedding, we could not have been more pleased with the outcome. It was everything we expected and more! The weather on the other hand was not behaving 100% for us. It was cloudy and misty all morning. We really wanted our ceremony to be outdoor. Michael who was our maitre D wanted that for us too. We had 30 minutes prior to our start time to decide and we went with outdoor but then it started coming down a bit more 15 minutes before start time. We asked Michael if it was too late to move it back in and he said “Not a problem. We’ll get it done right away”. He was so quick and professional about it. He is absolutely the best and we could not have been more happy to have him as our maitre D that day. He is such a sweet and caring man. Sally was my bridal attendant. She was so sweet, calm, and caring. She took care of me and my entire bridal party.
Everyone at The Grandview went far and beyond for us to make our day THE BEST DAY EVER! We still get compliments from our guests about how great the food and service was! A BIG THANK YOU TO MARGARET, MICHAEL, SALLY, AND ALL THE STAFF AT THE GRANDVIEW!

All I can say is wow!! My husband and I are so grateful that we had our wedding at The Grandview! We must have looked at 30 places mainly because we didnt want a typical catering hall. From the first time walking into the place we were wowed. We meet with Margaret who answered all of questions and was so nice! We knew we were goi g to have oiled wedding there in the outside ballroom tent because it was gorgeous and we wanted swims thing different than a regular ballroom. The whole process from beginning to end was amazing with their staff. I could call any day and could have my questions answered by anyone. The days of the wedding was a dream come true. My husband and I were able to just enjoy the reception because the staff handled everything else. They are true professionals and know what they are doing. Our maitre d Michael and bridal attendant Shelly were amazing they were also at our side helping us with whatever we needed making sure we ate and that our glasses were full. The food was outstanding all of our guests still are talking about the food and the portion size saying the were stuffed at the end. And our cake was beyond our expectations we started with a simple picture and it was a true masterpiece! I highly recommend this venue to anyone for any event. The experience was amazing and very affordable! My husband and I are trying to figure out what event like thanksgiving or New Years party we can attend there just to go back!
