    Having the Grand Bohemian host our wedding exceeded our expectations beyond belief. Upon contracting the 'Grand Bo', we knew we were selecting a luxurious setting however what we did not anticipate was the level of professionalism; care; and ease we gained from the Grand Bo staff! From beginning to end, my newly wed husband and I were treated with such personalism and on our special day we felt like guests of honor! It was truly amazing. We had a simple vision of what we imagined our intimate wedding to be and somehow the venue and the staff enhanced our vision tenfold and truly made it our dream wedding! Aside from the romantic and inspiring setting, the vendors i.e., musician, officiant, and wedding planner recommended to us via the event planning team at Grand Bo were simply superb. Tara, you were awesome to work with- the commitment was to provide top quality service and a memorable day for us and our family and you delivered. I feel emotional typing this review but that's just how touched I am with how special and wonderful everything turned out! We can go on and on about our positive review.....THANK YOU!!!

    In less than 48 hours, the Grand Bohemian team planned, coordinated, and pull-off my FABULOUS wedding!!! That's right, my original wedding was set for St. Augustine, but when Hurricane Matthew flooded the town, I had 36 hours to relocate my entire wedding and all my guests. The Grand Bohemian team came to my rescue on a Friday and put on the most spectacular wedding 2 days later on Sunday.
    The pool deck ceremony was elegant with a partial view of the downtown Orlando skyline, and covered by a draped gazebo. While I didn't get to try the hors d'oeuvres (as is typical for brides), my guests told me they were out of this world. The reception was then held in the spacious ballroom, and chefs served an amazing plated meal of steak and salmon. The full open bar was a big hit too. As a cherry on top, the Grand Bohemian set aside 20 guest rooms for me and my guests at a special rate. Every detail was PERFECTION! The team was detail-oriented, attentive, and compassionate. I couldn't be more pleased with my big day--a day I thought was ruined because of a hurricane. If you're looking for special treatment, on-point customer service, and top-notch professionalism, go "Grand Bo" all the way! They know what they are doing, and they do it well.

    Our Winter Wonderland dream came true at the Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando on January 16, 2016!
    AMAZING, AMAZING, BEYOND AMAZING is all that i can say...
    From the planning process to the wedding (even up until today), our dedicated Catering Sales Managers (GBO - Tara and Ashley) along with our Wedding planners (Michele Butler Events) ensured us every step of the way that everything would be perfect! I am pleased to say that everything was indeed beautiful!
    The Reception dinner was just as we remembered during our food tasting (ALL of our 130 guest LOVED everything). Let's not forget about the unlimited drinks and hor'derves during Cocktail Hour which was also a major hit. The Ceremony pool deck patio overlooking the city lights during the sunset, brought me to tears (this is a moment that I would never forget). Who ever said that evening weddings weren't a good look? Never mind, it doesn't matter (Do what you want and trust that the Grand Bohemian will make it happen).
    Moving along, a huge thing for me is "service". I will not hesitate to tell you that the Grand Bohemian gave 100% to us throughout our planning, wedding day, and post wedding as well. We all know that when it comes to a wedding there will be some hiccups, however, it is not for a Bride and Groom to dwell on... In other words, the Grand Bohemian as an entity and it's staff were always ready and available to make corrections and/or fix any issue (when or if) they occurred. Customer service was even rendered to my puppy, Hiro that stayed with us at the hotel during our wedding week. He received a cute arrival gift that he really enjoyed being that Mommy and Daddy would be super busy. But Hiro wasn't the only one to get treated like royalty... Of course the Grand Bohemian placed a cherry on top by sending personal treats to our room(s) with signature notes. Also, everyone in the hotel knew that we were the Bride and Groom (this made us really feel like King & Queen)!

    The Grand Bohemian Catering, Sales, and Events handled the planning and execution of our wedding to perfection and all levels of staff from front of the house, banquets, catering, food quality, bartenders, etc. were excellent. The team at the hotel knows how to plan and deliver the perfect wedding.

    Most amazing venue. Great staff. Food was to die for. Our catering and sales manager took care of every detail and was a pleasure to work with!! The entire event went perfectly. How does a wedding not have a single problem???

    The food was outstanding and everything ran very smoothly the day of the wedding. The filet, lobster and sushi bar were amazing.

    My husband and I could not have picked a better venue to get married at and our guest agreed. Sara are wedding coordinator at The Grand Bohemian was awesome, she is very professional, friendly, and made sure that my vision for the wedding came true. What sold me was the roof top ceremony downtown. This hotel is beautiful inside and out and I can't wait to see how our pictures are going to turn out.

    The Grand Bohemian Hotel did an AMAZING job with my wedding. I can not thank Ashli Marcantoni, Sara Parkinson and their banquet staff enough for all the hard work they did to ensure my wedding was flawless. We hosted our Ceremony on the Roof Top Pool Deck that was absolutely stunning and our Reception in the Ballroom which was breathtaking. Not only is this location perfectly located in Downtown Orlando, but the staff was very detail orientated and the food was delicious. The compliments from my guest are still rolling in! I highly recommend this venue for any event you want to ensure is a complete success with no worries at all!

    I highly recommend the Grand Bohemian for their wedding! I had never expected my wedding day to be perfect, but thanks to Sara Parkinson and the Grand Bo team, it WAS perfect! Guests could not stop talking about how great everything was and how it was one of the best, most unique weddings they'd ever been to! Sara was extremely attentive and flexible, the food was phenomenal, and on the weekend of the big day, she made absolutely sure that we had everything we needed. I couldn't have picked a better venue!!

    We had an amazing experience at the Grand Bohemian Orlando! We hosted our wedding reception at the ballroom and a cocktail hour prior to the reception at the rooftop. The service exceed our expectations and everything looked amazing. We had a few amenities and minor details that I do not want to spoil by sharing them since I believe every bride will appreciate the little touches that add up to a wonderful experience. The planning was hassle free and the Events Manager, Sara was always available to respond even the silly questions every bride comes up with. She guided me throughout the planning process and was helpful, friendly, personable and a ensured it all was perfectly organized. The food was delicious and all of our guests agreed and complimented the service. I did not have a wedding coordinator and still the day of my wedding I did not have to worry about anything because Sara and her team took care of it all. That is definitely something to consider when picking a wedding venue. We cannot thank the Grand Bohemian enough for the wonderful experience on such a big day for us and our family! Cannot wait to go back for our 1st anniversary and relive it all!

    I worked mostly with Eric, and he was great! He was very accommodating, professional and just overall so nice to us! He always responded to us the day we contacted him. He definitely knows what he's doing and how to please the people he's working with! The staff we worked with (kitchen staff, luggage handlers, valet, front desk, etc. were also very nice and over the top helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better hotel staff!

    I have to say we searched and searched for the perfect venue in Asheville, nc and were about to give up and settle for one of the dozen places we had seen when we met with the Grand Bohemian Hotel. Once I went up to the terrace and saw the Grand Ballroom and Salon, I was sold. I sat down and cried because I knew this was my fairytale wedding!

    The team there is beyond personal and professional when it comes to getting the job done. They all love what they do and you can sense when you dealing with them.

    They are worth every cent for a once in a lifetime event. Now we have an extraordinary hotel to return to for our future anniversaries. I could go on and on about all the little details they cover and how opulent the hotel is, but I would not do it justice~this is one of those places you have to see to truly appreciate.

    Joan, Haley, Cheryl, and Ivan were a phenomenal team-everything is covered-they can anticipate almost anything and are very solution oriented.

    I highly recommend The Grand Bohemian for any event or any getaway, especially anything romantic!

    We loved the convenience of this hotel in relation to the city. Its right inside downtown orlando. The rooms are so nice, and staff great.

    I consider myself lucky that I was able to get married at such a wonderful place. Sandy was amazing to work with, from beginning to end. The service was incredible. The rooms were fantastic. Everything was perfect. My guests still talk about how good the food was, which I don't hear very often at weddings. I felt like a princess on my wedding day, which is how every girl should feel. If you're lucky enough to get the chance to have your wedding here, jump on it. You won't regret it.

    We had our wedding at the bohemian about a month ago, we were very pleased with the service, it was what we expected and more, we had the best attention on the day of our wedding, Sandy was great to us from the very begining, the staff at the hotel wast just awesome, the attention was great, would recommend the grand bohemian hotel without a doubt for any event, the service, the food, the place is great and for the price it is really worth it, you will not find a place that gives you the best food and service that you deserve on this special day.

    This was the first venue I looked at and I was in love at first sight! I loved the colors, the art, everything about the venue was just gorgeous!

    The person I originally met with left for another job offer. The hotel brought on Sandy Thornton and she was amazing! She was always there to answer any and all of my questions. The food was amazing, the staff was awesome, I have nothing bad to say!

    The day of the wedding I was able to get ready in a big gorgeous room and the staff was there if I needed!

    When thinking of the hotel some might think it would be expensive but it was very comparable to the other places I looked at. The cost for each meal included everything.....3 hours of open bar, salad, main course, desert and hor d'oeuvres. Set up, cake cutting, everything you could think of! Most places individually broke all of those things down which might seem cheaper but when you add it up it was about the same!

    Our wedding was absolutely gorgeous and I thank the staff and Sandy at the hotel for being part of that!

    We had an intimate ceremony outside mid-level on one of the rooftop. The set-up was absolutely beautiful. The wedding coordinator was great and paid extra attention to what we wanted. Her recommendations for various wedding vendors turned out to be perfect. The hotel itself was amazing and our room was upgraded to a suite for free. We felt like royalty before, during, and after our ceremony. The whole experience was absolutely incredible! I would recommend this venue for a wedding to anyone.

    This place is worth every penny! Everyone loved the hotel and my guest were all pampered. At first the price tag might be a little frightening but once you break down how much it would cost to do everything that you get as part of your package you realize it is just as much as many other venue's. I love it so much that I am ready to go back for a weekend gettaway!

    If you are looking for a reception venue that will impress your guests and fulfil your every dream, look no further. The Grand Bohemian went above and beyond for our reception and exceed my expectations. The service was amazing, food was to-die for, and ambiance created the reception of my dreams. Cristina, our Catering Manager, had every detail exactly how I invisioned even down to the black ribbons tied around each napkin.

    I especially loved that throughout the reception, we always had a drink in our hand. My husband, myself, and especially my guests never had to worry about a thing. When the night was over, a knock at the door delivered an entire meal including wedding cake. It was a beautiful end to the perfect day. I owe it all to The Grand Bohemian Hotel!

    Also, don't forget about their Sunday Jazz Brunch! It was a great way to end the weekend.

    Kim Martinez was my coordinator. She was great. Very helpful and nice. Had smaller wedding (around 50 ppl) so budget wise wasnt too bad. Beautiful hotel and ceremony location on roof

    BEST service I have received thus far for anything. I have never felt more like a queen than at the Grand Bohemian. They not only treated me like a queen but my entire family and the grooms family were treated like royalty. Excellent people working there and I can't express the gratitude I feel for how hard they worked to make my special day everything I wanted. The food, the service, the locations--everything was wonderful. I would recommend this as a venue for anyone getting married. Very modern, right in the heart of downtown Orlando!

    The Grand Bohemian really made my wedding a unique event. It is somewhat pricey, but worth every penny. They make you feel special from the minute you walk through the door. From the Food to the professional service, it is well worth it.

    All I can say is that the Bohemian is the best place for a wedding reception. The hotel is beautiful. The staff is top notch. The food is the best in town. The overall atmosphere is incredible. Tara and her staff did a great job with the entire event from beginning to end. The room block rate is affordable. I liked how on top the staff was with the Welcome bags. The suites were incredible. The ballroom is the most amazing experience. I really felt like I was a princess marrying my prince.

    Words cannot express how happy I am that our previous reception/restaurant cancelled on us and referred us to Grand Bohemian. I am so pleased with every aspect of our reception.
    I live out of state and took a big chance booking a reception area without ever seeing the room. However, I saw amazing pictures, read reviews and could tell I would be happy with the service, as Joe was so professional. He was very responsive and replied in a timely manner. Not to mention, he was very accommodating with my dietary needs.
    We chose the wine room as our reception area since we only had a few guests. This room is gorgeous. It gave me the feeling I wanted: an intimate dinner with loved ones.
    The food was AMAZING!!!! I cannot say enough how good the food is at this restaurant. Every one that attending our reception still says it is the best food they have ever had at a wedding and/or restaurant. Granted, some people may find the menu a little pricey, but I did not think it was that bad, especially, since we had a small group. Trust me, if you spend the money, you will not be disappointed. You are going to way above the normal restaurant/wedding buffet food.
    The waiters and waitresses are also some friendly and professional. They were sure we were comfortable. The food came out in a timely manner and we were not rushed.
    The hotel is beautiful. Pay the money and hire a photographer. Some of my most favorite photos are from the wine room, the elevator and outside the hotel. There are so many options for photos.
    If you looking for something intimate but still want the feeling of wedding and not the feeling that you are simply at a restaurant, book the wine room. You won't regret it!

    Our wedding at the Grand Bohemian was everything we wanted and more. All of the amazing employees worked hard to help us create our perfect wedding. The venue is gorgeous with the purple and gold carpets in the ballroom and art work on the walls. And the food was fantastic! All of our guests enjoyed their meals!

    My husband and I fell in love with the Grand Bo's artsiness and contemporary feel. There is beautiful artwork throughout the hotel. We also liked the idea of getting married on the pool deck where we would have gorgeous views of downtown Orlando. The Grand Bohemian is truly a beautiful and unique location.

    The food was absolutely outstanding and the service was impeccable. We decided a week before the wedding to add a sushi bar to the cocktail hour, and I’m glad we did because it was a special touch that tasted amazing and impressed our guests. I have heard nothing but good things from my guests. My brother works in the hotel industry, and he told me how impressed he was with the Grand Bo. We also had a gorgeous suite with a shower and Jacuzzi tub. It was a nice size, but did get a little cramped when the photographer, videographers, hair and makeup artists, bridesmaids, and my family members were all in there.

    The reason they get an A- is because from the time we booked them (March 2009) until the wedding, we had 3 different contacts at the Grand Bo. Luckily, nothing was screwed up or forgotten because of this, and each person let me know what was going on so it wasn’t a surprise to me. Each one of our contacts at the Grand Bo was great to work with. They were all patient with me and answered my hundreds of questions promptly.

    I am fortunate that my favorite contact at the GB was the one who was actually there for my wedding. Sandy was amazing! She checked in with me regularly and made sure the bar was stocked with Aguardiente (I requested it because my DH is Colombian). My final meeting with her was 3 days before the wedding, and it was obvious she read through my entire file (which was very large due to tons of email correspondence). Everything at the wedding was perfect and just the way we wanted it. I also felt comfort in seeing her smiling face at the Rehearsal, Ceremony and Reception.

    The GB also provides a Matire’D in the wedding package. Jaime was wonderful and had bottles of water ready for us right after the ceremony. If we needed anything at all, he got it for us. He also made sure 2 plates of food, sushi, and 2 pieces of cake were delivered to our suite. I admit we didn’t need him that much because Ashlie and Sandy took care of everything.

    We are more than pleased with the Grand Bo. It really was the perfect venue for DH and me. I highly recommend the GB!

    I couldn't have asked for a better hotel with better service. Our wedding was perfect. The food was exceptional and the service was out of this world. As a matter of fact, my husband and I went back for a dinner program hosted by a pharmaceutical company, and one of the servers recognized us and said what a beautiful wedding it was. I wish we could do it all over again!

    Food was amazing, the team took care of us so well, we even did our rehearsal dinner on the pool deck. We had filets and lobster tails for our guests. Not to mention the made sure nothing got in the way of Jill and I enjoying our wedding reception, not parents/photographers/videographers.

    We chose the Grand Bohemian as the venue for our wedding reception, we are so glad that we did! The Grand Bohemian is the only boutique hotel of its kind in the downtown area, and is worth the extra cost. Our guests loved the property. We had excellent, top-class service and the food and beverage department was outstanding. The chef would have gladly created a customized meal for us, but we instead selected a few of his menu items and chose to customize our cocktail hour with personalized hors d'oeuvres and drinks. The reservations department was very accommodating; after a little haggling over room rates, they were very helpful. Our only complaint was the staffing change that took place during our engagement and planning period. Overall the transition was handled well, but there were times that I had to really stay on top of things to ensure that nothing was overlooked. While it is understandable that this profession is a bit fluid, and event coordinators seem to move around in the industry, the Grand Bohemian seems to have had more of an issue with this than other venues. Fortunately for us, this wasn't too big of an issue and our wedding was beautiful. We would definitely recommend the Grand Bohemian to any couple looking for a unique, high class venue!

    Brian and I were very happy with the rooftop venue. It was stunning! Carinne Allen made sure of every detail! I loved working with her. I e-mailed her with every little concern and question and she was more than happy to help. Sarah Selman helped us choose the rooftop. It was just what we were looking for. She went through everything with us and took her time to be sure we knew everything The Grand Bohemian Hotel has to offer. We were very happy! The food was delicious, too! Carinne worked on this with us and tailored it to our liking. Huge thanks to the Grand Bo and to Carinne and Sarah! Oh, and Renford was a big hit! He was so happy, fun, upbeat and very attentive. We all loved him! Thanks again for making our wedding reception one to remember!

    Ashli was quick to learn about Erik and I as a couple and our needs. We were thrown into a whole new situation with the changing of staff at the Grand Bohemian, but she eased our worries with her confidence in executing details how we wanted and by accommodating special requests we had made with the previous coordinators. Ashli and Sara both did a fabulous job making the wedding day and night a divine event.

    Attention to detail prior to the wedding was haphazard at times. Turnover in the event department was part of the problem. However, the day of the wedding The Grand Bohemian Team brought their A game! Our wedding day was amazing. Eric and his team took such good care of us. Food is over the top. Rain plan called that morning and it ended up being perfect! I would highly recommend the Grand Bo. Just stay on top of them and your day will be perfect. The ball room is so beautiful and the night was magical. Thank you Eric and Grand Bo!

    Love this hotel! Beautiful ceremony location at the rooftop terrace, and an amazing reception in their ballroom. They sure know how to make you feel like a princess at this hotel!!
    The only things that was negative would be that the hotel is pricey, and we would have liked to see more servers on the floor... A little bit of a slower service (because of short staffed??)... But the service we received was great!! Everyone was very polite, and really knew what they were doing.
    What I was most happy with was the hotels coordinator/service manager Rebecca Skokowski. She did an amazing job. She helped me with all my questions. Always answered my emails fast, and she had full control of every detail I wanted in my wedding. No question was hard for her to answer. Rebecca even found someone to make and deliver a traditional Norwegian wedding cake for me, when my family last minute figured out they couldn't make it!! And most importantly She made sure my whole wedding day went smooth.

    This is a fantastic venue for Orlando weddings. We had a destination wedding here for our daughter and randomly stumbled across it on the internet. It provided everything we wanted--a package deal for a small wedding (11 guests) with a formal dinner. We started coordinating with one person she changed jobs about 3 weeks before our wedding. I was only panicked for about a day; she let me know who I'd be dealing with and Ashli (the new coordinator) took care of all our concerns. Once we arrived, things were flawless. Ashli was great to work with and made sure the day was perfect for our daughter. The food at the hotel is excellent and the pool roof was a beautiful place for the ceremony. The price was relatively high for a small wedding, but overall for what we received we felt really good about what we paid for and what we got. I would really recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with great food and great service.

    I could not have picked a more perfect venue and am so happy we got married at the Grand Bohemian. If you are a bride that is looking for a beautiful venue that doesn't require a lot of decoration, great food, and a great bar the Grand Bohemian should be on the top of your list. What makes the Grand Bohemian so fantastic is you have the convenience of a hotel but also have a stunning ceremony location and ballroom. This is not your typical hotel ballroom wedding as the hotel is filled with gorgeous artwork and the food is top notch, not standard catered food. While the venue seemed pricey at first, once I got into the planning I realized it would not have been just as expensive as any other venue. I ended up saving quite a bit on floral and decorations (the venue is so gorgeous you don't really need to add much) and they provide tables, chairs, table numbers, floral for cocktail hour, linens, all the china etc. that you would have to rent at many other places. Not to mention the two suites for the bridal parties that are included are a nice touch as well. The staff is also on top of everything and quick to respond with any questions you have along the way. My only advice is this is not a venue for a very large wedding. We had 115 guests and a band and it worked out perfectly, but anymore and it would have been too cramped.

    Extremely disappointed . The staff was very unorganized and they do not keep their word.
    Let me go further in detail..
    We met with our first coordinator Katie ,she helped up arrange payments and explained the menu . A couple months later I received a phone call from the director , Eric explaining to us that Katie was no longer with grand bohemian . Ok, that was fine . Weeks later we met our new coordinator for grand bohemian. We made our payments prompt every couple of months to only find out that our contract was no wher to be found and turns out we still needed $4,600 to complete the payment. We were totally caught off guard with this but still payed it. Finaly , my wedding day arrived. My vendors were told they were allowed to set up early that day but as they arrived they were then told they were not allowed to set up until 3:45 due to Grand bohemian double booking the ceremony area that day !! Keep in mind, my ceremony started at 4:30.
    This caused so much chaos with my vendors it was ridiculous .
    My guest list went above the expected amount, which caused us to incorporate an additional room (which was not connected to the ballroom) to be opened for extra seating.
    The bartenders were rude to my guest, a Group of my guests had to go downstairs to the bar to get a drink and Grand bohemian ran out of food!! I understand it was not their fault that there were an over abundance of people but at least have the curtesy to tell my guest that more food will be on its way, instead they shut the doors on my guests leaving the assumption that they were done serving food. So, now I have no seats for the guest and they left unfed. The bar inconsistently kept shutting down when it was suppose to be open bar. My guest were treated terrible and the hotel had problems with double booking guest w/rooms ! In the end my husband and I were absolutely mortified. We chose to spend the extra money to have it at grandbohemian to only be so regretful for having it there..

    Im very dissapointed. I came and had a meeting with Eric to have my wedding there. Not only was i planning to book.. But i had to call numerous times to be emailed my quote, and contract so i could put down a deposit. After my fiance spoke with him on the phone, he was told by Eric he would be emailed everything. Its been an entire month... NEVER RECIEVED THE EMAIL! this venue has not only lost my business and im also a wedding photographer here in Orlando and I am not a fan of shooting there EVER if i am to be treated this way. (Or my clients). I ended up booking somewhere else, and ended up apending about $15,000.
