The Golf Club at Yankee Trace Reviews

Jason was very helpful and responsive during the planning process for my recent wedding. Yankee Trace was very accommodating and flexible with our requests. We were receiving our cupcakes from an out of town vendor a few days before our wedding and they allowed us to store them at the venue until the big day. They were also great with the room flip. I had never been to a wedding at YT, and at first I was hesitant to want to do a room flip, but the seamlessness of their set up was perfect. Our guests were able to enjoy a cocktail and the room was set up within 15 minutes of the ceremony ending. The fact they also have a room to use for the girls to get ready, that can then be used during the reception as a "babysitting room" was also a HUGE benefit. Everything about this place made it the perfect venue.

I have nothing but praise for Yankee Trace in regards to everything involving our wedding reception. For one, both my husband and I were not located in Ohio due to our jobs during the planning period, however, Jason and his staff were extremely accessible, easy to work with, and all ensured we were covering all of our bases (like if we had an appropriate number of appetizers ordered, for example :) ). I was calm knowing the staff was doing everything they could to help out the planning portion! Also, the food is absolutely wonderful! Many of our guests complimented the food - we did the chicken, sirloin, and mushroom options. All in all, I don't think we could have asked for a better place to host our reception. Beautiful venue, great staff, delicious food, good service at the bar... can't ask for more than that !

The staff was a dream to work with! I always got a call back within hours and they were flexible with what I wanted!

We absolutely loved Yankee Trace Golf Club as our wedding reception venue. Jason was the best to work with - always available to answer any questions, provide input, and make sure our wedding reception was the best experience ever. He helped manage every little detail and was extremely flexible with requests. The staff was so friendly, helpful, and one of the staff members even offered to carry my dinner plate back to my table so I wouldn't spill on my dress - such a nice touch! The food was outstanding, reasonably priced, and stellar service! Thank you for making our day a very special occasion!

Jason and the Yankee Trace team were wonderful. Any problem or question I had was easily solved or answered. They were easy to work with and very accommodating! Yankee Trace is beautiful! The Clubhouse, where we had the reception, is located on the golf course, has a wrap around patio, and nice foyer area for a cocktail hour. We also had access to the Academy Room to get ready in. We had access to the Clubhouse starting at 8AM the day of the wedding which made it so nice to have time to make sure everything was set up and decorated! There are so many beautiful spots for pictures and the ballroom is so nice, that really no extra decorations are needed! We were very happy with the service we received and the food was awesome too! Everyone complimented the dinner! We were very happy and would highly recommend Yankee Trace and their staff!!

Yankee Trace was a wonderful venue to hold both our ceremony and our reception. Jason was absolutely fabulous to work with. He was extremely responsive throughout the whole process. On top of that he was always very excited but easy going as well which made the whole planning stress free and fun!! We were able to have our ceremony indoors in front of the fireplace which was absolutely beautiful. We then had our cocktail hour in the lobby and on the patio while they flipped the room to have the reception. The venue is really pretty, especially the chandeliers. The food was great too. All of my guests gave me great reviews. Parking is easy for guests and it was great being able to have everything there. Also, the bridal party was able to get ready at Yankee Trace, so as the bride I got there in the morning and didn't have to leave until the evening! It made for a very stress free day! I just had my hairstylists come there because we had a HUGE room to get ready in. I was even able to order a catered lunch to make sure me and my bridesmaids were fed before the wedding. Overall Yankee Trace was just fabulous and I would definitely recommend it to anyway for a wedding!

Couldn't have asked for a better reception venue. It's classy, gorgeous and the perfect setting for a beautiful reception! We are so pleased! Jason is a great reception venue coordinator and the food is fantastic! We had the entire place to ourselves and an open bar, it made the evening so much fun! We highly recommend!

Great food! Lovely venue! So close to motels for out of town guests, accommodating and professional staff. We are so happy that we chose Yankee Trace Golf Club for our daughter's wedding reception. They made the day!

Yankee Trace is a gorgeous place; they maintain the grounds well and the golf course is beautiful. Jason, the Banquet Manager, is very professional and a great communicator. He answered all of my questions promptly and was very accommodating. The staff and service is above par; everyone is great there! I would highly recommend this venue for any type of reception! We had a seated dinner for the wedding reception. The guests were able to choose between the stuffed chicken breast or prime rib. Both were fantastic in my opinion. However, the prime rib is served in a huge portion!! It was very impressive and our guests are still talking about it! The salad dressings are delicious and homemade too! My husband and I love Yankee Trace!

Jason is great to work with! The room was perfect and dinner was great! Dinner was way better than I expected considering how many people they were cooking for!

We had our reception at Yankee Trace and it was perfect. Jason was so easy to work with and they were so accomidating. I could not have asked for anything more.

Everything was perfect. I had both my ceremony and my reception at Yankee Trace. They were very accommodating. The food was excellent. It's too bad it rained. My pictures would have turned out better if we could have made more use of the beautiful terrace. The walls inside blended with my dress and skin. Other than that... Amazing!

i just loved having our wedding at Yankee Trace! Jason and everyone there (including the Club House staff who gave me tissues when I was crying) were just wonderful. We were a tough crowd to please and everyone just loved every thing about it! The loved the food and the patio for cocktail hour. It had rained the morning of the wedding and they took the time to calm my nerves and provided a backup rain plan; even though we did not have to use it! From planing to the event, they were just amazing. I wish we could have done a million food tastings because it was that good. Jason stayed during the wedding and reception and eased all nerves about the logistic so we could enjoy! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Yankee Trace is a beautiful setting. Not only will your reception be wonderful, but also the pictures you have taken on their grounds will be also.
Jason Paraji coordinates their banquets and he is easy to work with and will accomodate whatever specific ideas you have. Whenever we asked if we could do something, the response was always: "sure, we can do that". Their fee included set up of the room and cake cutting; nothing was extra.

They have delicious food, and did not even blink when we asked then about my gluten intolerance ("sure, we can do that"). Early in the reception one of our guests asked us about a soy allergy. The chef was right there to tell her what she could and could not eat. That would be the theme of the evening - everyone was always right there.

The host staff they have is great - so many of our guests commented to me how freindly the servers were. I asked them to set aside one gluten free piece of cake for a guest, and they organized all of the cake and placed a gluten free note by the portions that were so that everyone would have a choice.

The only thing I would suggest is concerning your choice of a buffet or served dinner. We had been told that any extra food from a buffet could not be saved because it would have been sitting out too long. However any leftover meals from a served dinner could be boxed up for us to take. That was the reason that we chose served meals. But at the end of the night, although the staff boxed up all of our cake, they did not box up any extra food and we had 7 people no show. We were busy and did not think about it at the time. The next day when we remembered, it was too late to do anything. So be sure that if you choose to have a served dinner to specificaly ask the staff that evening to box up your extra food.

We had our reception at Yankee Trace. Jason, the banquet manager is very easy to work with and very patient. I dropped off all my favors, place cards, and other items to be set out for the wedding two days before and when I arrived at the reception it all looked amazing. Their staff of waiters and waitresses are so accommodating and really work to make sure your day is special. I know they do this every weekend but they really make sure the bride and groom are having a good time and take care of you. One of the waitresses even made sure to get the flavor of cake that we wanted and wrapped it up for us to go since we did not really get to eat it! The food is great as well!!!

We had our wedding ceremony and our reception at Yankee Trace. The staff there were awesome! Very professional and answered emails and phone calls. They were very flexible, whatever you wanted, they could get. We were unable to get good prices on some rentals, including table runners and chair covers at other places. When we asked them if they could get them, they quoted a very competitive price. It was so nice to be able to get all our rentals that we needed through them at a fantastic price! The place is beautiful! However, the only gripe we had was the price of alcohol. We really wanted to do an open bar, but the prices were far too expensive. You payed per person by the hour....so we ended up just doing beer and wine. But overall, Yankee is a great place, with exceptional staff and service!

Yankee trace has been extremely friendly and accommodating thus far! We still have our tasting and have to plan the finishing touches but I can't wait until June to see the place transformed and see our wedding come to life!

The only issue we had was for our dollar dance, we served shots of peach schnapps. Yankee Trace provided the bottles but charged us $4 a shot and said that we should have gotten 50 shots out of each bottle. We ended up spending over $400 on the dollar dance unintentionally because we thought they would charge us per bottle.
