Chelsea and her team are great - highly recommend working with her as your coordinator! Her responsiveness, conscientiousness, thoughtfulness and kindness made all the difference in our experience pre-wedding and on the wedding day! While Chelsea leaned in the most in the last 2-3 months prior to the wedding, we'd hired her about a year and a half before our wedding, and she was available for questions that entire time, which is much more than most month/day of coordinators offer. From answering our questions during our planning process, to building our timelines and coordinating with all vendors, to making sure our day went smoothly, Chelsea was very helpful. I'm very particular and type A, and Chelsea was extremely patient with me :). She was also extremely knowledgeable about our venue, Armour House, which was helpful. Highly recommend working with her and the Gilded Aisle! -

Chelsea made our entire wedding weekend a dream! Once we began working with Chelsea, I no longer had to coordinate anything with any of our vendors. Chelsea asked me questions about things I hadn’t even thought about to ensure our wedding was the most perfect night, and without Chelsea, it would have been completely chaotic. She was with me from the second I woke up on my wedding day, and her team was the last to leave the venue at the end of the night. I can’t thank Chelsea enough for coordinating the wedding of my dreams and ensuring my husband and I got to enjoy every perfect minute. -

If you are currently looking for a wedding planner, your search can and should end now. Chelsea and the Gilded Aisle were the best vendor we had at our wedding 2.5 weeks ago (and we'd highly recommend most of them!).
Coming from a type-A, work event planning background, I thought I had most things covered for our wedding, but I wanted to feel like a bride, not a coordinator on my wedding day. Chelsea far exceeded every expectation we had well before our wedding day with her impeccable communication, the planning tools she provided us, contact with our vendors, advice, and numerous items we were able to borrow from her for our day, saving us countless hours, stress, and money in rentals.
She is professional, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. Every detail is organized and taken care of - those you thought of and twice as many that won't cross your mind. Our day had a few unavoidable hiccups we knew of (and likely more we didn't), as everyone's will, and Chelsea was phenomenal at managing them all so we never felt stressed. We were able to enjoy every moment of our wedding day truly thanks to Chelsea and her team.
She was there from the moment hair and makeup began through well beyond the last dance, taking care to keep our most precious items and deliver them to our home. There is no one we trusted more than Chelsea, and no one we could recommend more than her for your wedding day. Do yourself the biggest favor and include The Gilded Aisle on your vendor team - it's the best decision we made! -

Lynne Kennedy at the Gilded Aisle is incredible! She helped plan my NYE wedding in 2021 and we could not have done everything for wedding planning and prep without the help of Lynne! She was extremely responsive, organized, and always valued our opinions in what we wanted for our wedding. I cannot recommend Lynne enough! I will definitely be recommending her to all my family and friends. Just stop searching for a wedding planner hire Lynne Kennedy already! :-) you will NOT be disappointed! -

I cannot say enough about Chelsea Keily in helping us plan our daughter’s dream wedding downtown! We certainly could not have done it without her. Chelsea went above and beyond in every respect. Her level of professionalism was amazing as well as her attention to every large and small detail! Her and her team were there for us not only two months prior during the planning, but throughout the entire weekend to keep things running flawlessly so we could just enjoy the perfect celebration .❤️😊 -

I originally thought I did not need a wedding planner but quickly found myself incredibly stressed out, especially after having to postpone my wedding because of covid. I started working with Chelsea Kiely and she turned my dream into a reality. Her work is downright impressive. She helped manage and communicate with all my vendors and coordinate all day of details. I also had the pleasure of working with Lynne Kennedy who is also spectacular. To all those brides who think they don’t need a planner.. YOU DO! And Chelsea is the one to work with. She took care of all the details so I could focus on the important stuff –proposing to my best friend and love of my life. She arranged it so we were “randomly” selected be the first group on the tour so we could have a private moment. Our guide, who was also a professional photographer, took us to the perfect location for the big moment and some unforgettable pictures. I highly recommend Lynne Kennedy of The Gilded Aisle to help plan your wedding or event. Lynne helped design, organize and execute two different weddings for our family during 2019 and her support was professional, dedicated and exceptional from our first phone call through the wedding day and beyond. For each of our weddings, both the bride and groom lived outside of the Chicago area, so communication for the multitude of decisions was across different time zones and done through conference calls and emails; Lynne accommodated all schedules, and never missed a beat. Lynne’s composed disposition and demeanor, as well as her experienced expertise, helped calm stressful decisions and situations from beginning to end. She provided our family expert counsel on contracts, walk-throughs, playbook, and coordination. Lynne was able to foresee and mange resolution to potential (or actual!) problems as they arose. For example when an unusual snowstorm in late-late April was forecast, Lynne provided advice on a great venue for moving the wedding party photos indoors and had the foresight to phone the wedding and reception venues to ensure they had snow removal ready for pathways and parking lots. On the day of the wedding, FOUR inches of snow fell with strong winds and Lynne provided the wedding party with umbrellas, tissues and snacks, wow! As a result of Lynne’s engagement and oversight, each of our family’s weddings was simply perfection, even with four inches of snow! Many thanks and cheers to Lynne Kennedy! -

She had a range of suggestions and resources for keeping our event in budget, while making it memorable for all. Plus, Lynne is just a wonderful person and a delight to work with. I would work with her again in a heartbeat!

We had some very difficult health issues going on with a family member and she pulled us all up through the tears and everything went perfectly.
Lynne is incredibly detailed & organized and such a beautiful person and spirit to have on your special day . Most important she listen to exactly what you want and does it the way you want . Her expertise and years of experience shine through.
We were over the top thrilled with her services .
