  If you want the PERFECT day

  Chelsea made our entire wedding weekend a dream! Once we began working with Chelsea, I no longer had to coordinate anything with any of our vendors. Chelsea asked me questions about things I hadn’t even thought about to ensure our wedding was the most perfect night, and without Chelsea, it would have been completely chaotic. She was with me from the second I woke up on my wedding day, and her team was the last to leave the venue at the end of the night. I can’t thank Chelsea enough for coordinating the wedding of my dreams and ensuring my husband and I got to enjoy every perfect minute.

  First let me say that I never write reviews. The level of professionalism and guidance that we received from Chelsea Kiely at The Gilded Aisle compels me to share my review with you.

  Highly recommend!!

  Words do not express how wonderful Allison was as our day-of-coordinator! Not only is she extremely kind, professional and fun to work with, she was also so organized in nearly every facet of the planning process. Our seasoned wedding photographer called Allison the most organized and detail-oriented coordinator she'd ever worked with. The wedding timeline she built for us included the smallest details, like where the nearest AED and fire extinguisher were at our vendor and hotel. She is also an incredibly thoughtful human who would pick up on the tiniest things we'd mention in our conversations. For example, in a call I briefly mentioned that my dad recently had hip surgery. Several weeks later, Allison sent over the schedule for family pictures and had organized it so that my dad could take all of his first and then sit down to rest before the ceremony.
  
  She seamlessly navigated so many different moving parts and communications across our vendors in the two months leading up to our wedding. Her day-of management was also flawless. She and her team made sure everyone and everything was accounted for, and we honestly cannot imagine having our wedding be such a success without her. We cannot recommend her and Gilded Aisle enough!

  Best Vendor of Our Wedding - Hire Chelsea

  If you are currently looking for a wedding planner, your search can and should end now. Chelsea and the Gilded Aisle were the best vendor we had at our wedding 2.5 weeks ago (and we'd highly recommend most of them!). 
  
  Coming from a type-A, work event planning background, I thought I had most things covered for our wedding, but I wanted to feel like a bride, not a coordinator on my wedding day. Chelsea far exceeded every expectation we had well before our wedding day with her impeccable communication, the planning tools she provided us, contact with our vendors, advice, and numerous items we were able to borrow from her for our day, saving us countless hours, stress, and money in rentals. 
  She is professional, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. Every detail is organized and taken care of - those you thought of and twice as many that won't cross your mind. Our day had a few unavoidable hiccups we knew of (and likely more we didn't), as everyone's will, and Chelsea was phenomenal at managing them all so we never felt stressed. We were able to enjoy every moment of our wedding day truly thanks to Chelsea and her team. 
  
  She was there from the moment hair and makeup began through well beyond the last dance, taking care to keep our most precious items and deliver them to our home. There is no one we trusted more than Chelsea, and no one we could recommend more than her for your wedding day. Do yourself the biggest favor and include The Gilded Aisle on your vendor team - it's the best decision we made!

  Lynne Kennedy is AMAZING!

  Lynne Kennedy at the Gilded Aisle is incredible! She helped plan my NYE wedding in 2021 and we could not have done everything for wedding planning and prep without the help of Lynne! She was extremely responsive, organized, and always valued our opinions in what we wanted for our wedding. I cannot recommend Lynne enough! I will definitely be recommending her to all my family and friends. Just stop searching for a wedding planner hire Lynne Kennedy already! :-) you will NOT be disappointed!

  I am so grateful to have selected Mary Claire as my wedding planner. We originally thought we could plan the wedding by ourselves because it was going to be on our family farm. Then we started to realize there was an unbelievable amount coordinating and planning that was needed for rentals, catering, music, flowers as well as organizing all the tiny details. Planning an outdoor wedding at a private residence for 175 people proved to be a challenge. Mary Claire came in at the right time to help us out. I could not have planned it without her by my side.
  
  I had a strict budget and she helped me accomplish all of my goals by working with the vendors and figuring out which options worked best for me. Her organizational skills were key and she created a timeline for us to follow for both the planning as well as the day of events.
  
  Mary Claire is kind, organized and extremely thorough. On my wedding day I didn't worry about a thing because I knew she had it handled. The wedding site and reception were everything I imagined and more. I still continue to get compliments from my guests about how well-organized and beautiful the day was.   Lynne Kennedy Takes Exceptional to a Whole New Level

  Lynne Kennedy did the Wedding Day Management for our wedding in 2019 and we could not have been happier with her, her team, and our wedding! Lynne is kind, professional, experienced, detail oriented, SO organized, and extremely reasonably priced.
  Although we chose to do the planning ourselves and have wedding day management, Lynne was still there from the beginning to offer vendor suggestions, bounce ideas off of, and she also helped us find better deals on things like chair covers and linens. Not a detail before, during, or after the wedding was overlooked. We were able to fully enjoy our wedding day knowing that Lynne had everything handled and under control. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Lynne and highly recommend The Gilded Aisle Weddings!

  Although we chose to do the planning ourselves and have wedding day management, Lynne was still there from the beginning to offer vendor suggestions, bounce ideas off of, and she also helped us find better deals on things like chair covers and linens. Not a detail before, during, or after the wedding was overlooked. We were able to fully enjoy our wedding day knowing that Lynne had everything handled and under control. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Lynne and highly recommend The Gilded Aisle Weddings!

  Wedding Day Perfection with The Gilded Aisle

  I highly recommend Lynne Kennedy of The Gilded Aisle to help plan your wedding or event. Lynne helped design, organize and execute two different weddings for our family during 2019 and her support was professional, dedicated and exceptional from our first phone call through the wedding day and beyond. For each of our weddings, both the bride and groom lived outside of the Chicago area, so communication for the multitude of decisions was across different time zones and done through conference calls and emails; Lynne accommodated all schedules, and never missed a beat. Lynne’s composed disposition and demeanor, as well as her experienced expertise, helped calm stressful decisions and situations from beginning to end. She provided our family expert counsel on contracts, walk-throughs, playbook, and coordination. Lynne was able to foresee and mange resolution to potential (or actual!) problems as they arose. For example when an unusual snowstorm in late-late April was forecast, Lynne provided advice on a great venue for moving the wedding party photos indoors and had the foresight to phone the wedding and reception venues to ensure they had snow removal ready for pathways and parking lots. On the day of the wedding, FOUR inches of snow fell with strong winds and Lynne provided the wedding party with umbrellas, tissues and snacks, wow! Our jobs can be demanding, & without her there is no way the event would’ve come together the way it did, from schedule to decorations. She had fantastic vendor recommendations & styling advice, & when we weren’t sure how to answer vendor questions she would take care of it.   Planning weddings can be stressful - Lynne makes it enjoyable!

  If there's one adjective I could use to describe our experience with Lynne Kennedy, it would be flawless. We hired Lynne as the day-of coordinator for our wedding, but it doesn't feel right to call her that because she was truly so much more. When I first sat down with Lynne she said to me, "think of me more as your month-of coordinator." It was clear from that first meeting that, with Lynne, we'd be in the best hands. Throughout the entire planning process, Lynne insisted on reviewing our contracts and making sure everything was set up for success from the get-go. And she really wasn't kidding about her involvement in the month leading up to the wedding (and beyond that). She was at every meeting, made sure that there was a plan in place for every single thing you could possibly imagine, and established & communicated timelines with everyone from our vendors to our bridal party. As is obvious, planning weddings can be quite stressful and it doesn't help that I'm a worrier by nature. But with Lynne, I was never worried. I knew she was on top of it all. I can never thank her enough for giving me that peace of mind.
  
  One of the things I can't stress enough about Lynne is how calm her demeanor is. Planning events can innately be stressful, but she somehow makes it look easy. On the day of your wedding, you want to be surrounded by people who make you feel calm and relaxed - that's Lynne. She also showed up the morning of our wedding with fresh, homemade blueberry scones that we all devoured. How did she find the time to do that? I still am convinced she's superhuman. All day, she seamlessly floated between the getting ready suites at the hotel, the venue, and even made a stop at the store to get me throat coat tea. Our entire wedding went off without a hitch. I couldn't even tell you if something didn't initially go according to plan. At the end of the night, my husband and I were getting back to the hotel and there was Lynne, first leaving the hotel. It was past 1:30am. We got up to our suite and saw that the entire room had been turned over, there were flower petals everywhere, and Lynne had boxed up all of our items so we knew where everything was. We would not have been able to pull off the most perfect day of our lives without Lynne and, for that, we are forever grateful.

  Lynne is the best!

  I can't say enough about my experience working with Lynne at the Gilded Aisle. From the first phone conversation, I could feel her warmth and positivity. I used Lynne as a day of planner, but Lynne made herself available for SO MUCH MORE. As the day got closer, Lynne was always in contact and willing to answer any questions I had. She attended the walk through at the hotel and made sure so many little things were addressed that I would never have thought of. She even attended my last dress fitting! And, thank goodness she was there because the seamstress had messed up the bustle of my dress. With only 2 weeks away from the wedding day, I took my dress to another seamstress and Lynne came to that fitting too! She kept me calm throughout the whole process. On the wedding day, Lynne arrived with her colleague Mary Claire and they were quite the duo! They were professional and efficient, all the while with smiles and laughter! Lynne even brought homemade blueberry scones! Lynne made sure the day and evening ran smoothly without a hitch, literally.   Couldn't have hosted a Rehearsal Dinner for 120 and Welcome Party for 200 without The Gilded Aisle.

  My son got married in downtown Chicago last Sept. I planned a rehearsal dinner in downtown Chicago for 120 guests, as well as a welcome party for 200. I live on the east coast so I could not have put this event together without the help of Lynne and The Gilded Aisle. Her ideas, attention to details as well as her professionalism were just what I needed.   Lynne is an incredible event planner. She organized the largest and most successful benefit dinner in our organization's history with creativity, organization, and poise. She had a range of suggestions and resources for keeping our event in budget, while making it memorable for all. Plus, Lynne is just a wonderful person and a delight to work with.
