Beautiful space & very convenient!
My wedding was absolutely the best day of my life, and the Georgian Terrace was the perfect place to have it! We loved everything about the space. It’s gorgeous, so convenient, the rooms are amazing, and we were able to have our cocktail hour, reception, and after party in 3 different spaces all at the hotel. My only complaint is that they don’t treat their wedding coordinators well enough. Our coordinator was way overworked which made my life and my wedding planner’s life a little more stressful than it needed to be. Overall though I would do it again 100x over. It was amazing. -

Beautiful ballroom and outstanding service!
I can't thank The Georgian Terrace team enough. Jenelle the Manager is more than amazing. She helped us with everything we needed, and her knowledge, dedication and support to us made the whole process enjoyfull and smooth. I can not thank her enough. The Ballroom is gorgeous. The hotel is beautiful and has a lot of character. All our wedding pictures turned out beautiful. The food was very very good and we got several compliments about the dinner. All of our guests loved. The whole staff was very nice. I'm so glad we choose The Georgian Terrace for our BIG DAY! ❤️ -

Such a dream
I had my wedding here in September of 2024. The experience was nothing short of magical. The entire staff was so kind and helpful, truly went above and beyond. Jenelle was so wonderful and helped us for a whole year, being so supportive all the way. The venue is gorgeous, and with the included suite for both bride and groom parties, as well as all food and drink in house, it is the most convenient location you can imagine. I will highly recommend this venue to any bride in Georgia. -

A Dream Wedding for My Daughter
Our daughter had her wedding reception at The Georgian Terrace, and it was truly a dream wedding. We also held the rehearsal reception there, and stayed at the hotel during the festivities. Planning with Violet, Jenelle and the entire team was such a pleasure, and communication was excellent all throughout the process. Upon our arrival to TGT on Friday, we were met with amazing customer service and hospitality. The catering team, wait staff, front desk folks, and everyone else was top notch. We could not have asked for a better experience! We all wanted to do it all over again when the festivities were over. A fabulous experience and we'd highly recommend!-

Amazing!!!
My daughter’s wedding day at the Georgian terrace was like an absolute fairy tale. It was beyond amazing and simply unforgettable!! It’s been almost three weeks and I’m still getting texts about how good the food was, how beautiful the hotel and ballroom were, and how nice the hotel rooms were. I can’t thank Jim, Violet, Brandon, Ulysses, and countless other staff enough for making her day the dream wedding she had always envisioned. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!-

Beautiful venue
The Georgian Terrace is absolutely stunning in every way. The beautiful marble staircases and ballrooms are to die for, and make for amazing pictures. The space is so gorgeous by itself, that there is really very little you need to do in the way of decor or flowers. The convenience of a hotel as a venue was so nice for our guests, and made life easy for us as they handled the catering, cake, etc. We absolutely loved working with Christopher, who was on top of it and super responsive throughout the process! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to book their dream wedding day here! -

Truly a modern classic
I utilized this hotel for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready at. Booked the 3 room suite, which is essentially an apartment. They were able to accommodate a late check out for us, as my wedding was later in the day, so I was very grateful for that. The hotel makes for gorgeous photos! Staff was friendly. Received breakfast from Livingston very quickly.
We looked at this hotel as a reception venue as well. Although we didn't have ours here, it's a great choice, we just needed more flexibly regarding food/alcohol -

Perfect venue! I absolutely love the Georgian Terrace and you really cannot go wrong with having this as your wedding venue. The staff is 5-star, high class and the service is spectacular. Thanks so much to Walter for making sure all my details were executed. He is so fantastic to work with. I've looked back on my wedding photos so many times and I'm so happy that we picked The Georgian Terrace as our ceremony at Mitchel ballroom and reception at grand ballroom. The building is so beautiful! -

I cannot say enough about the wedding I held for my daughter at the Georgian Terrace. From the beginning planning process until the day of I never once had a problem. The catering manager Ashley was professional from the start until the end. She was always prompt returning my phone calls and never once made me feel as if I was troubling her. She went above and beyond to make the day a very special one. The food was excellent, both at the cocktail hour and the dinner. Many of my guests approached us and told us how delicious the meal was. The ballroom was beautiful with the uplighting they provided and the choice of linens on the tables. I used many vendors straight from their list and was also so happy with them. Everyone returned calls promptly and acted professionally. If I had another daughter I would hold another affair there! Thanks for the great memories. -

We had such an incredible reception at the Georgian Terrace. The ballroom is beautiful on its own, so not much additional decor is needed. The Grand Ballroom also has an outdoor terrace which is a great addition for guests who want to congregate outside. The planner we worked with, Ashley, was extremely professional, and very easy to get in touch with. The entire staff at the hotel was very accommodating, and very flexible with seating arrangements, as we changed ours around several times. All the catering is in house, which makes the planning part even easier. The food is delicious, and all of our guests were very happy with the food. The Georgian Terrace is in the heart of Atlanta, so our out of town guests loved the convenience of where the hotel was located, and there are a lot of food and activity options close by. The photographs turned out beautifully as well because the interior and exterior of the hotel are just stunning. I could not have been happier with this venue choice. It is the perfect spot if you're looking for a vintage/classic reception venue. -

Thanks so much to Walt for making sure all my details were executed. He is so fantastic to work with. I've looked back on my wedding photos so many times and I'm so happy that we picked the GT as our reception venue. The building is so beautiful! (And definitely take photos by the Fox too). We had a ton of out of town guests, and they loved the history of the GT and how stunning everything was. Thanks again to Walt and his team for making our special day so perfect. -

We have an older son who married in Maine, and most of this was handled by his family. This was our first go at this for our daughter, and Ashley and the Georgian Terrace couldn't have been more helpful and efficient. Frankly, they weren't our first choice, but in retrospect should have been. Stunning appointments, beautiful architecture and intricate joinery. It was classically opulent while remaining relatively affordable. The staff was incredibly responsive, Ashley worked with my wife and daughter to get the best value among several possible decisions, Georgian Terrace people were there making sure everything went smoothly and added a tremendous amount of expertise that gave the entire affair a much more polished air. We used their recommended cake people, AV people and photographers (frankly I always worry about intertwined businesses) but it worked especially well in this historic old hotel...all the vendors knew just what to do, where to go, and the photographers knew all the great spots. Beautiful service in one room and in another, a sit down dinner, dance floor, open bar and bartender, all deftly handled. Brides should love the elegance, every groom is Clark Gable, the families are well treated and the accommodations are old school Southern classic. Ashley and her team brought this last minute event for fifty together in three weeks, no surprises on the final bill, and less than I had internally budgeted. A+ -

I just had my dream wedding at The Georgian Terrace back on September 6th, 2014! I can't stop looking at my pictures because they convey that I had that true Atlanta wedding!
Three Months before my wedding, my original venue closed down and I was in desperate need to find a new venue at a price I could afford. It turned into a blessing in disguise because The Georgian Terrace had everything I was looking for! I had my reception at the Livingston Restaurant which is right across the street from The Fox Theatre so it made for some gorgeous photos! The food was spectacular and the service was perfect! A huge compliment to Ashley for making my day so very special! All my guests were ranting and raving over my wedding so I'm one happy bride!!! -

We were married at Georgian Terrace in October 2014 and we are so glad we did. The venue is absolutely beautiful - the pictures turned out amazing. The food at Georgian Terrace is the best you can find at a hotel and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Our coordinator Hannah went above and beyond at every point of the planning process. The only con I could see was the guest rooms can be a hit a miss - some have been upgraded and some are older, but the actual ballrooms are incredible. We feel very fortunate we chose Georgian Terrace. -

We recently were married at the Georgian Terrace and we could not be happier with the facilities. The hotel is located right in the heart of mid town and extremely convenient for anyone traveling. Additionally, it is a beautiful historic site providing the perfect elegant venue for a wedding.
The food and drinks were top notch and the ballrooms beautiful. The perfect blend of elegance and sophistication made this special evening stellar. The service was excellent both the night of the wedding as well as throughout the planning process. We were assisted by Walter Nemeth who ensured that every step of the process from the initial tour to the final checkout went smoothly. We honestly felt attended to and cared for the entire time we were working with the hotel.
We could not recommend this venue more highly. The location is perfect, the hotel itself is a beautiful historic venue, and the quality and service were exceptional.

We had my daughter's wedding reception at the Georgian Terrace ballroom and the staff could not have been more responsive to our every request. We had a very positive experience.
I am a foodie and the food was quite delicious.
My only complaint would be that the ballroom foyer that was used for the cocktail hour was not air conditioned and ridiculously hot. Although the air conditioning was turned on at my request, it was impossible to cool it with 100 warm people already there. It was a November wedding, and the ballroom was perfectly cooled, but be sure they cool the foyer before guests arrive. -

The Georgian Terrace Hotel in Atlanta Georgia is responsible for making my wedding and reception "A DREAM COME TRUE". The wedding ceremony was like a fairytale...simply beautiful. The Piedmont Foyer is so beautiful and the photographs came out absolutely gorgeous. The food served for the cocktail hour and reception dinner, was delicious! The Chef did an outstanding job! The entire staff at the Georgian Terrace, especially Dana Kicklighter, were so professional. It was a sheer delight to trust my wedding to the Georgian Terrace Hotel and not worry about anything. Dana advised me and was there all the way through the planning process and even calmed me the day of the wedding. Anything Dana said she was going to do, she did. She even responded to my emails on her day off!!!!!!! OUTSTANDING 5 STAR RATING FOR DANA AND THE GEORGIAN TERRACE HOTEL. Thank You Georgian Terrace Hotel for making my wedding day one of the happiest days of my life!!!! -

I originally liked this venue because of its elegance and history, but what REALLY sold me was how responsive, flexible, and thorough Hannah was to answer my questions and to find solutions to meet my vision and my budget. Even after signing on, Hannah continued to impress me --she was a true delight to work with. Our reception went flawlessly and everyone had a blast at this beautiful venue. -

The event coordinators were both very helpful. I worked with both Dana and Hannah. They were god sent. Hannah was initially my event coordinator and she came up with a really great menu that worked for our budget. Dana was also on the awesome list. Both were very good about responding to my questions within a timely manner. Day of the event Dana was on point and took care of the details I might have forgotten. She contacted my vendors to coordinate set up times. It was a stress free day thanks to the vendors I chose and DANA! -

Before I did my location search with my Wedding Coordinator, I always knew in the back of my mind that the Georgian Terrace was my dream location. I felt that it would be beyond my budget and decided that I would be open minded to other locations that might fit my budget. I looked at a few places and never even mentioned to my Wedding Coordinator about the Georgian Terrace until after looking at a few places, I just wasn't as excited. She did add it to my list of locations to look at and I knew that I would not need to look any other place. She prompted me to think about it and she even did a comparison chart for all the locations. I prayed on it and I just knew in my heart that this was my location. From the start, everything flowed with the constant communication dealing with the catering, our room blocks, down to the actual day of the event. I was thorughly pleased. Not only was my location beautiful, but it was just a dream come true!! -

The Georgian Terrace was wonderful. They were helpful with everything and provided a wide variety of things that other venues charge extra for. The venue is beyond beautiful, and leaves guests in awe. The catering done by The Livingston is outstanding - and our guests are still raving about it. We will plan all of our future events and hotel stays at The Georgian Terrace and plan on many dining occasions at The Livingston. Top Notch!!! -

Anyone that has been to the Georgian Terrace already know about its charm. I always knew that I wanted to be at the Georgian Terrace whenever I got married. We had our wedding brunch at this location. It was a beautiful location and it pictures well. The only complaint I have is that the table attendants that waited on us seemed to be a bit lazy and I had to make a special request to thave the food sent up to our suite. They got gratuity and I felt like some of it was not deserved. Also, we had some parking issues and some room keys that didn't work. However, they had a car that took us where we needed to go and they had a doorman who was very polite, helpful and funny. -

Welcome Reception at the Livingston, Wedding Room Block
We used the Livingston (restaurant inside the Georgian Terrace) as our welcome reception venue for our wedding weekend. Adrienne helped us with all of the details and was more than accommodating to all of our needs. She also secured us a room block for the weekend, and we earned two free nights in a bridal suite thanks to the number of guests we brought to the hotel.
The Livingston was a perfect venue and all the staff (Joe with AV, the bartenders, chefs organizing the appetizers table, etc) were wonderful to work with. Our guests had nothing but good things to say about the space and the Georgian Terrace staff they spoke to.
The rooms themselves were worn down. The square footage of the rooms was spacious and had beautiful views of midtown, but the furniture and the linens showed signs of age. Technology like TVs were also pretty dated.
Ms. Juana was our room service attendant and she was wonderful. We requested a room clean up the day of the wedding since the bridal suite was used to get ready, and she was very thorough in making sure the room was clean when we got back from the wedding.
Overall, I would definitely recommend others to book with the Georgian Terrace for a wedding room block and other wedding-related events! The rooms could use a refresh, though.-

My party at this venue was "Gone with the wind fabulous"!!!
I immediately fell in love with the classy architecture and aesthetic of the Georgian Terrace. It may be a bit pricey, but it was worth every penny spent! -

If you want a "fairy tale" feel for your wedding and reception with spacious suites for your guests, then The Georgian Terrace is the perfect location. Beyond the hotel's history and lore, it is just a beautiful space. From the crown molding in their ballrooms, to the beautifully carpeted lobby and event areas, from the columns to the atrium. You will lose yourself in the majesty on your wedding day. The Grand ballroom is spectacular! The Piedmont Ballroom, also breathtaking for a wedding reception.
During our wedding weekend, there were several other wedding events! If you didn't run into those wedding clad guests in the elevator, you really couldn't tell. When it was our wedding, it was all hands on deck for our party and our guests.
You can probably find a lower room rate for your guests around town, but a little extra per night, each guest gets a one- or two-bedroom suite with a kitchen! Our guests felt pampered and appreciated for their time and funds after making whatever journey to see our big day.
Hannah was our wedding planner contact at the hotel, and she knew just how to handle my wife, with kit gloves. As a same-sex couple, we always wonder if we'll be treated differently at places with such esteem as the Terrace, but we were treated like royalty, from the house staff to the valet.
One note that soured the experience for a family member: on his way out of town (the night of my wedding), the valet took about 30-40 minutes to find his car keys. It put him out of his way in trying to drive 12 hours home. Alas, the head of the valet service called me to apologize and removed the costs for ALL of my valet fees that weekend. Now, that is customer service. The Georgian Terrace made it right.
Have your dream wedding at the Georgian Terrace. -

We had a very small ceremony there as well as a happy hour as our guests arrived the night before. The staff fully accommodated our needs and made sure we were happy with everything. We loved our room and our guests loved theirs as well. Couldn't ask for a better place to have our intimate ceremony! -

The Georgian Terrace was one of the first venues we considered and the only one we visited as we narrowed down our reception location. Once my fiancé and I saw the Grand Ballroom, read what was offered in the package and had a chance to meet the Georgian Terrace team, we were sold. And we have no regrets. It was a perfect day and our guests still continue to talk about how beautiful our reception was. We were pleased with the food and beverage choices offered and the Georgan Terrace's team, including Hannah, were timely and responsible through the entire planning process. It's is clear that they are experts in what they do and brought great ideas to the table to help make our reception uniquely ours. I couldn't be happier with our entire experience. -

The perfect wedding venue!
My fiancé and I struggled to find somewhere we could see ourselves getting married that also fit within our budget. The Georgian Terrace was the perfect fit! The food was great! Staff was wonderful and helped to ensure our day was perfect. You do have a preferred vendors list that I highly recommend you using. Those vendors KNOW the venue and know what is best and what will look best. If you want an elegant picturesque venue this is the place for you! -

While I ended up booking a venue other than the Georgian Terrace, I wanted to leave a review and compliment Emily E. and her team! Emily was amazing and responsive throughout our entire shopping process and went back and forth with us multiple times on contract details and inclusions. She never made us feel like a bother and took the time to understand our needs and wants for our big day. Emily was so accommodating and willing to personalize the offering to make my fiance and I feel different and special. Thank you, Emily! -

They were very responsive during the planning process and were able to accommodate our wedding when we moved the date months earlier! They even gave us a private tasting in their fabulous restaurant to make sure we got it done during one of our few trips to Atlanta as we live out of town. The hotel is gorgeous for pictures and the reception venues are grand yet classic.
The rooms are very spacious and I wanted to live in the honeymoon suite we selected. The staff was very responsive- even bringing a steamer to the bride's room at 7 am the day of the wedding.
My only complaints were that the hit water was not consistent in the rooms, though they did send an engineer immediately once guests complained. Also, they failed to put some personal items on my reception tables that I bought to personalize it.
Would do it again!! -

Our wedding reception was held in the Piedmont ballroom the first Saturday in November. We had started working with Walter about six months prior to this. Walter was a delight to work with, he was always very responsive to any cares and concerns we had.
Our biggest complaint came from the broken promise of discounted rooms for our wedding party. I spoke several times with different people in reservations and all the way to the hotel manager. They never came up with a solution to our problem, the fact the best rate that they would give us was to match the online rate for the hotel. When I told the head of reservations that we were spending $25,000 on our reception and we hoped that we would be able to have a discount for our hotel guests… she told me that this was the least anybody would spend on a reception in their hotel! We had very little assistance with this problem even as they admitted that a discount was promised.
The hotel is beautiful and a wonderful place for a wedding reception. Our cocktail reception was held outside of the Piedmont ballroom… A beautiful setting! Again we did have a small problem and the fact that they could not cool the area down. We were promised when we got in to the Piedmont ballroom but it would be cooler, it was still a bit warm in the ballroom for the evening.
In closing, I recommend the Georgian Terrace, Hotel… But you might check their hotel rates before you sign a contract. This was not acceptable!

Beautiful venue and great staff! We loved our Georgian Terrace wedding. We worked with Ashley Whitney and Hannah Baber (who is no longer there). They were both helpful and easy to work with. Make sure you ask about packages - we got a special winter package that made what otherwise would have been beyond our budget affordable. It included the space, food, linens, and even a honeymoon suite. The ballrooms are beautiful and require little extra to make your event look amazing. There are also several beautiful areas for photos at the hotel and across the street at the Fox Theatre. My only complaint would be the consistency of the top round we had at the reception. When we had it at the tasting, it was cooked to the proper temperature and flavorful. The day of the event it was overcooked, chewy, and did not have the same great flavors - I was very disappointed with this. Our guests raved about the chicken florentine and halibut though! Overall, I would say this is a great place to host your event. -

We had our wedding and reception in the Piedmont Ballroom at the hotel. Our only complaint was that responsiveness from our Catering Manager was very slow prior to our event because their "team experienced turnover and the staff was learning a new system." This was frustrating to us as customers and to our planners as well.
The hotel offers great wedding packages. For an event our size (75 guests), the price was well aligned with our budget. Please be advised that there are no food tastings for events with less than 100 guests. Also, pay VERY close attention to your final event order.
Our wedding was beautiful! Moreover, the preferred vendors with the hotel that we selected were excellent to work with. -

The Georgian Terrace is a beautiful venue and the day of the wedding was perfect! Food was excellent and the pictures turned out amazing. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with Ashley, her customer service wasn't the best and they also managed to misplace the top tier of our wedding cake. They ended up finding it the next day, but still it was something we didn't want to deal the day after the wedding. -

The Georgian Terrace Hotel is absolutely stunning and their staff at my wedding were wonderfully attentive and made each and every guest feel special and well taken care of. A couple of our guests took pictures with their table's server because she was so wonderful! Anthony, our personal bellman was incredible and one of my favorite memories of the wedding day! One of the main reasons that we chose the Georgian Terrace was that they had a beautiful ballroom that could accommodate my small guest list of less than 50. They also have a lovely room that was perfect for our ceremony . It's hard to write this review because my wedding day was wonderful but the process getting to it had some hurdles that other brides with small guest lists should be aware of.
The Georgian Terrace has two ballrooms, the Grand Ballroom and the Piedmont Ballroom. The bride who books the Grand Ballroom will get first dibs on everything and sometimes that made me feel a bit... less. Also our on site wedding coordinator was changed fairly early through our planning process, we're not sure why, and the new woman was extremely difficult to get ahold of and was more than a little scattered. Our tasting for example, which we almost didn't get because weddings with less than 100 guests don't get tastings, was completely wrong because she had given us the food list for a seated dinner when we had booked a station style reception which has a completely different menu.
If you book a small wedding at the Georgian Terrace, your wedding will be beautiful, the food will be delicious, and your guests will impressed with the service. However, you should be prepared to stand up and demand the services that you want. -

Gorgeous Venue with Great Package, but Lacking in Communication
I had my heart set on having our wedding reception at The Georgian Terrace. There truly is no venue in Atlanta that is more gorgeous or more captures the essence of Southern Elegance. Other places try, such as Biltmore Ballrooms, Southern Exchange, Piedmont Driving Club or even Wimbish House, but they all fall short (primarily because their packages offer so little and in my opinion lack the architectural detail).
The big wins of the Georgian Terrace Hotel are that it's absolutely stunning and their package comes with much (included tables, tableware/cloths, chairs, cake, dance floor, stage, HUGE and gorgeous bridal suite options (I mean really wonderful with a room specifically for hair/make up on top of two bedrooms, a dining room, living room, and kitchen), and ofc rooms for your guests that are right there in the building. You and your parents also get complimentary rooms on the wedding night).
What I found lacking was the quality of professionalism with the event coordination team. I signed the event space pre-covid (Aug 2019) and the coordinator there at the time was great (Chris Pascal). When covid happened, he was apparently furloughed, although this was never communicated to me. I gave them time after the initial hit of the pandemic to reach out to me and tell me if my wedding (Oct 2020) were still on and never heard from them. I had to call and email many times before I heard anything in April and May. Then, things like the food tasting I practically had to beg for and we didn't do that until August. It wasn't until then that the new coordinator told me we had a headcount max because of covid. My issue was not the new max--I get it, getting married in a pandemic you have to make some concessions. It was that they did not tell me this preemptively when they learned of that news. They should have reached out and communicated the change. LUCKILY I hadn't sent out invites yet otherwise that would have been awkward-- it was a cut from 205 to 135! Another downer was the groom's getting ready room (which is also part of the package) was just a standard 2 queen guestroom. One of the groomsmen randomly was given a huge suite, so we used that for them to get ready in/take photos instead. Definitely ask about that a head of time.
We had our rehearsal dinner at Park Tavern and the coordinator there was so on top of it, communicating with me almost weekly the two months prior, that it really put into stark contrast how uncommunicative The Georgian Terrace had been. If you get married there, it will be FABULOUS, but you and your planner will need to stay on top of them.-

Unprofessional
My sister and I were very excited to see this venue, unfortunately when we arrived for our tour we were greeted by rude valet service. Our tour was with Camille Flowers who was very nice, Unfortunately she gave us no information on pricing for the ballrooms we were looking into, it took several days and prompting from me to get information from them and all the pricing information with received we're very inconsistent, and during the correspondence I spoke with four different employees non of whom seemed to keen to host an intimate ceremony at their venue.
We needed up booking with the Ritz Carlton

I had my wedding almost a month ago at the Fox Theater in Atlanta and the Georgian Terrace directly across the street seemed like the natural choice for both my rehearsal dinner and where myself and guests would stay for the weekend. In the beginning of my wedding planning I had a great experience with my wedding contact there, Hannah, but the hotel changed management and since then went downhill as far as guest services. The hotel was also undergoing renovations as well. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and it was convenient. The first issue was that for my block of rooms, my family would call and ask for my block (almost a year in advance) and they would say there were no more rooms available when there were. The price of the same type of room was cheaper to purchase outside of my block, and even cheaper with AAA and military discounts so my guests would tell me they went outside my block. We wanted to prepay and reserve parking for the night of the event for our guests and when we got the parking vouchers to hand out, there was only a handful of people who could use them because they were turned away from the parking deck saying it was full. One of my guests turned around and went home because there was no where to park.
Thirdly, the Penthouse suite we requested was given to an in-house bride 4 days prior to the event. We still got a penthouse suite but it was smaller and not the one I requested over a year ago. All the welcome bags were not brought to the rooms. I ended up just getting them myself to hand out to my family. My wedding contact person was out of town that weekend and I found that out the night of my rehearsal dinner. My guests had several complaints about their rooms. One room literally still in the middle of construction, one had no towels and took an hour to get them, another opened up the pull out bed and it was dirty and when she got new sheets they had holes in them. I was very disappointed with the lack of customer service. -

Miserable Experience
Attended a wedding at this venue and it is small. 200 people were crowded into a room. I did not see a sign for the
capacity approved by a fire marshall. Food service was SLOW so guests were going to a buffet line after 9 pm for dinner. Buffet line ran out of food so guests were sent to a roomwith salad, pasta and shrimp and grits that were cold. The elevator to the bathroom was turned off. The only way to get to the bathroom was a long marble staircase to the lower level. Many elderly guests were afraid of falling so they were forced to go to the lobby and take an elevator to their room to use the bathroom. If you are in the back of the wedding reception it is impossible to hear a thing. You miss any announcements and cannot see a thing because people, flower arrangements and pillars block the view. Person who served water lowered his mask and spit all over me when speaking to the table Do not choose this venue for a large wedding. -

Simply horrible to deal with in every respect
The venue space is gorgeous, fabulous. But everything else about our experience here was a nightmare. Staff issues, turnover, one hand didn’t know what the other was doing. Three hotel event managers in nine months. Renovations they didn’t tell us about. They took away the bride’s confirmed, agreed upon suite the day before the wedding because someone who paid more “wanted” it. In other words, the hotel manager said “too darn bad, go pound sand”. First try at food tasting was tasteless chicken (although credit to Chef Michael he revamped the menu and food was excellent for the wedding). Totally inflexible about keeping hotel bar open for drinks after the reception, despite promise by first hotel event planner that they would welcome the business and we could run a tab. It was one of many reasons we chose them. A month before the wedding they reneged. Promise after promise broken. I could go on and on. Do NOT use this hotel as your venue unless you want nothing but aggravation, your patience and time sucked out of you. -

Not safe!
The management and security allow homeless to come and go as they please and are allowed to harass guests including during weddings. Don't bother complaining either they don't really care and will probably threaten to kick you out like they did to us. -
