I cannot say enough great things about G7 Catering. I want to just say don’t even look for other places and book them! First when we did our tasting we were drooling over how good the food was. Second, Amy was so attentive during the entire process. I had so many questions and was always emailing her about random things such as signature drinks and she always responded right away. She met us at our venue to go over every detail. We also last minute decided to use G7 for a luncheon for the wedding party the day of the wedding and it was such a great decision. We did not have to lift a finger and our wedding party was well fed and ready for the full day. G7 also sets up all your chairs and tables and everything looked perfect. It was supposed to rain on our wedding day and I was really bummed the day before. Amy took the time to assure me it would be okay and they would make anything work out. Thankfully it cleared by the time we had our ceremony, but her words of assurance really eased my nerves. Everything was seamless from cocktail hour to dinner. There were no long lines and all of our guests were so happy. We received many compliments on the food and many guests wishing they could have hired G7 for their own wedding. We would keep hiring G7 over and over if we could! We 100% recommend using them for your catering services! -

We hired GSeven for our wedding on 7/22/22 at the Branford House in Groton, CT and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience! Our guests raved about the food, particularly the appetizers. Their food is delicious and the portions are generous.
The service is excellent as well. As a bride, it is very easy to get so swept by the photographer and your guests that you don't have time to eat. Not with GSeven--there were waiters coming over with entire trays of appetizers specifically for my husband and me so that we actually got to try everything. During dinner, the head chef came to our table to make sure that everything was to our liking. There was such a sense of being taken care of, which we really appreciated.
GSeven has excellent food and service and is a good value. You won't regret choosing them to cater your wedding!

My fiance and I were having SUCH a hard time finding a caterer. I probably spoke to close to 30 caterers. We came across this caterer and they gave us a private tasting with wine!! The food was AMAZING and I seriously cannot wait for my guests to try the food. -

When looking for a caterer for our wedding, my (now) husband and I requested several estimates and booked a handful of tastings. From the first correspondence, I could tell the G Seven was special. They were slated as the second tasting in our schedule. After meeting with Amy and Jason and trying filling up on delicious food, we were so impressed that we canceled all our other tastings and booked with them immediately. During the planning phase, Amy was incredibly flexible and helpful at every turn. We wanted to provide dishes, flatware and linen, and Amy easily accommodated this while ensuring I ordered the correct amounts. When we had our onsite meeting with my wedding coordinator, we both reflected how lucky I was to have such a conscientious and dedicated caterer. On the day of the wedding, the G Seven exceeded every expectation. Their large staff made light work of the setup, and everything was completed well before schedule. After the ceremony when we taking photos during cocktail hour, members of the G Seven staff brought passed appetizers over to us, and we were SO grateful. The dinner portions were very generous and of course delicious! Our guests were raving about the food. The G Seven was phenomenal in every sense of the word, and I would recommend them to every bride! -

Food is one of the most important things to execute well at your wedding. Our experience with G Seven was nothing short of amazing. We not only used G Seven for our wedding, but they also prepared and delivered our rehearsal dinner the night before. Everything was delicious. Jason is an incredible chef, and his wife Amy is very easy and enjoyable to work with. She incorporated a little Brazilian flair to our drink and dessert offerings making the night that much more special for half of the family. All our guests were raving about the food saying it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Jason made special options for our vegan/vegetarian guests which was appreciated immensely. The service staff was very professional and made sure our guests were always taken care of. I highly recommend working with G Seven for your wedding catering needs! -
Dawn Sent on 08/05/2018Can't say enough wonderful things about G Seven Catering. From planning to the rehearsal to the wedding- every aspect of working with them was truly a joy! They served as our caterers for our rehearsal and wedding at The Overlook at Geer Tree Farm. From the start, Amy and Jason gave us so much attention and were so responsive, it made us feel like we were the most important event they had. And when they say they are full service caterers, they mean it! Not only did they make and serve the most delicious food that our guests are still raving about, they helped us personalize our menu, make table decor decisions, setup all our decorations, and coordinate with other vendors to ensure a smooth and well executed event.
Amy and Jason have such a calm and fun disposition which is key when dealing with the stress of pulling together a wedding. Knowing that they were in charge put our minds at ease during the wedding weekend and that in itself is priceless. We had a lot of last minute decisions and changes- especially related to the rehearsal- and they just roll with the punches and go above and beyond to help in any way they can.
We would highly recommend G Seven Catering for your wedding!!

We were planning our wedding from Northern VA and Amy was extremely accommodating- always available via email and willing to meet with us whenever we were back in CT (usually on a holiday weekend). They hosted our tasting the day after Christmas! You can't ask for better customer service than that. Most importantly, the food is AMAZING!! When our ceremony finished ahead of schedule and guests arrived at the reception early, they were able to get the food and drinks going instantly and start the party! They made sure our wedding party had their own selection of food while we wrapped up photos. The only requirement my husband had for the wedding was clam chowder and fritters at the reception, and as a born and bread New Englander, they were without a doubt the most delicious chowder and fritters I've ever had! Amy and her team handled all of the setup at the reception and when we arrived it was everything I dreamed of and more. They created the most impressive cheese display and a great coffee/hot chocolate bar, and no one left hungry! Do yourself a favor and make sure to have their chocolate chip cookies! I can't say enough great things about them! G7 isn't just an amazing catering company, but they're like a caterer and wedding planner wrapped up in one! If you want to show your guests the best time ever, feed them amazing food, and not worry about the logistics of it all- go with G7!!

Danielle Sent on 12/17/2017Amy and Jason at G Seven catering were a pleasure to work with for my wedding day! They responded to my emails and met us in person a few times throughout the planning process. Amy assisted me in creating a menu - she was very flexible with menu choices and was willing to adjust the menu until I was satisfied. Once we had narrowed down our menu Amy and Jason hosted a private individualized tasting so that we could select what we liked best. We also utilized their bar tending services. They were flexible with their beer choices and the signature cocktail we selected was delicious! Jason is an excellent chef and we received many compliments on the food at our wedding - guests even contacted us after the wedding requesting G Seven's contact information for themselves - Our favorite and highly recommended choices are: The artisan market and cheese display (extremely plentiful and tons of food for an hors d' oeuvres stationary table), stuffed mushrooms appetizer (and I normally don't like mushrooms), pumpkin soup shooter with pumpkin bread appetizer, braised short ribs, cod with seafood stuffing and lobster sauce, and pumpkin ravioli with brown sauce (we received the MOST compliments on the pumpkin ravioli - it was amazing!) I was also able to create a separate dinner option to accommodate the guests with food allergies. G Sevens catering staff was professional and kind to our guests. They even helped us clean up the venue space at the end of the wedding and packed a few items for us to take home! I would highly recommend G Seven catering for your wedding or event! Kirsten Sent on 07/17/2011The food was absolutely delicious. We frequently heard from out guests it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Lovely people to work with. The servers were also top notch and made sure the bridal party got drinks and hors d'oevres during our pictures. -

We knew we wanted a meal to remember for our wedding night and gosh, did G7 deliver! Everyone was taken care of two times over. We selected a BBQ buffet but we hd about a dozen vegans/vegetarians attending and Jason whipped up a magnificent stuffed mushroom that was the talk of the evening for those friends who usually struggle to find non-meat options at weddings beyond pasta. We had an amazing meal but before dinner service, one of the amazing serving staff brought my husband and I a plate of appetizers so we could snack privately in the wedding suite before greeting guests during cocktail hour. We’re still dreaming about the mac and cheese and blueberry glazed brisket! My parents were particularly impressed with one of their waitstaff — Dana — who went above and beyond the call of her position to make sure everything was totally taken care of the night of our wedding, especially when it came to cleaning and packing up the decor post-party.
