Great Experience!

The Dresser was the 4th bridal store I went to in the OC area and by far the best experience. The store is so cute and a great place to take photos of you saying YES to the dress! The girl who helped me was great to work with, pulled beautiful styles, and didn't rush us. Not only did I get my Essence of Australia dress here, but I also got my veil and jewelry set as well! The seamstress was awesome to work with during my fittings and perfectly added on cap sleeves to my dress that I requested. 10/10 great experience start to finish!

I said ‘Yes’ at The Dresser!

I had the absolute best experience saying yes to the dress at The Dresser Bridal! I made my appointment early January for an appointment in late February. It was an easy process and they had great time options. When I went to my appointment, I was immediately greeted when I walked in with my girls. Note* you are only allowed 3 guests with you due to seating purposes, which is plenty when trying of wedding dresses. My stylist, Elitza, was super sweet and brought me into my fitting room area and immediately asked if we wanted champagne. While we sat sipping, she asked my likes and dislikes of wedding dresses I had seen or previously tried on. Since this was my first time, I showed her some pictures of dresses I liked and described dresses I had seen while looking around the shop. She was super patient with me while I tried on my dresses. When I walked out in the dress I ended up saying yes to, she also smiled with me because she knew how much I loved it. While I was in front of the mirrors, I also had other stylists walking by complimenting me the whole time, which makes you feel like a million bucks.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. All the girls are super helpful and are there to help you feel and look great! Can’t wait to pick up my dress and do my fitting. Highly recommended this Dress shop to any bride!

Purchased my gorgeous wedding dress here

They have an amazing sample sale in which you can get a great deal on a designer price for up to half of the cost. I went to check it out without bringing others to help, and their staff was on hand to help me in and out of the dresses. They were so friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend checking them out!

1st time trying on dresses

The dresser was the first store I visited to look for a wedding dress. I had no idea what to expect, but I knew that I wanted a mermaid style dress. Meagan was my bridal consult she pulled dresses that I really like it really gave me a better idea of what I was looking for. I’m so happy she pulled the essence of Australia dresses because of her I fell in love with this designer. There was a dress she had me try on that I absolutely loved but I did want to visit at least 1 more store before I said yes. The designer was having a trunk show so I really wanted to go. Although I didn’t end up buying my dress at the dresser I did end up buying the same dress that Meagan pulled for me except that I bought it at the trunk show because of the discounts I received. The dresser is a beautiful store and I loved my bridal consultant and because of her I knew exactly what dress I wanted. I wish I could have bought here since the dresser is much closer to where I live, but I just couldn’t pass up the deal at the trunk show. I do definitely recommend this store ask for Meagan if possible.

Best Bridal Boutique!

I was really hesitant about the bridal dress shopping process. I had a good idea of what I wanted, but I didn't know if it would look good on me and I wasn't sure if trying something else on would change my mind. My experience with the Dresser was wonderful! Amanda was super attentive and challenged me a little bit to make sure I knew I was making the right choice. She made sure I tried on dresses that I really loved but also threw in some different styles, too! It was a perfect mixture and definitely solidified my choice. Alterations were a breeze and everything was perfect!

Mary Ann did an amazing job altering my gown. I went with a Stella York gown #6490. All the dresses here were gorgeous. The staff was always friendly and it was clear to see that they were very passionate about what they do. The store (which has undergone a recent remodel) is very luxurious. Far superior to the other 2 bridal shops I went to in North Orange County!

My florist recommended The Dresser to me, and I am so glad she did, as I had a great experience with them!
They were all super nice and helpful from the very beginning and in each appointment thereafter. Stephanie was amazing and made sure to pull dresses that were similar to the pictures I showed her and made me feel comfortable by answering any questions I had. Once I picked a dress, they set up my next appointment for alterations with Marianne, who is just amazing at what she does- my dress turned out perfect!! I was more in love with it than I thought I would be! I am so happy that I found The Dresser, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great experience in finding their perfect dress!

Wedding - June 2017
The Dresser was the fifth and final dress shop I visited in three days while searching for my wedding dress while my mom was in town. Before The Dresser, I had tried on about 30 dresses, some of which I liked, but none that I loved. Every dress up until then, there was at least one thing I wanted to change about the design or style. At The Dresser, I worked with Amanda and she was great at listening to what I was interested in trying on, as well as what I knew at that point that I did not like. The second dress Amanda pulled for me was the one that I said YES to. There was nothing I wanted to be different about it and it was the one that made my mom teary-eyed.

After making the decision, it was easy working with The Dresser to schedule appointments for fittings and alterations. They are open later in the evenings on Tues and Thurs, which was perfect for my work schedule.

Marianne is a talented and knowledgeable seamstress. The lace and scallop pattern on my dress was very intricate and she hemmed it beautifully. She also added boning in the bodice to help support me within the soft dress structure. After my wedding, I returned my dress to The Dresser for minimal repairs to the hem, as well as their cleaning and preservation service.

Overall, the staff at The Dresser is professional, friendly, and will do their absolute best to help you find your dream wedding dress.

We didn't know you needed an appointment to try on dresses. My mom and I walked in and they were able to squeeze us in for a half appointment and sure enough I found my perfect dress! Everyone there was so friendly, helpful, and amazing!!

Found my beautiful wedding gown at The Dresser!! Wow did they make it easy! I found exactly what I was looking for in their gorgeous store. They have a great selection of dresses and the staff did a wonderful job helping me find my dress. I bought my veil and did my alterations through them as well. The alterations were PERFECT and I was even more amazed and happy with how well my dress fit me and looked after the whole process. AMAZING experience overall!

My sister got her wedding dress here 15 years ago and loved the experience and service, so when it came time to buy my wedding dress, I decided to come here first and immediately understood, first hand, what she was talking about!! From choosing the right style for me, to finding my dress, alterations...the staff were all so incredibly kind and helpful and the entire process was nothing but fluid. The Dresser was amazing at helping me find and alter my dream dress. I made an appointment to look at gowns right after I got engaged. This was the first place I looked for a dress and wasn't thinking I would find it right away! I gave a description of what I thought I wanted and was shown several dresses. I fell in love with the first dress I tried on and nothing compared! I bought the dress that day and cancelled all other appointments. Fast forward about 6 months later and I went back to the Dresser for alterations. I had a total of two appointments and my dress fit perfectly. I cannot say enough good things about the service and selection at the Dresser! Very attentive staff and talented in dress selection and alterations.

I bought my dream dress from the Dresser and I was happy with the customer service and friendliness of the staff! I went in for alterations 3 times and was extremely happy with Marianne's (the owner) attention to detail. Some seamstresses make you feel awkward about pointing something out that you don't like. My mom and I both commented on how Marianne would immediately fix something that bothered me and never made me feel awkward about it! It was really nice. She kept saying, "you're right, we can fix that. This is the dress for the biggest day of your life - it need to be perfect!" It made us feel good that we weren't being a nuisance to her. I would recommend this store!

I bought both my wedding dress and veil at The Dresser. I had a great experience there with my mom and maid of honor. We made an appointment and waited a few minutes, but we were able to browse through the dresses while we waited. I tried on maybe 8 dresses and narrowed it down to two. I thought that the sales associate was helpful without being pushy. I eventually chose a dress that didn't even need to be altered aside from a hem and bustle! Four months later I flew back to CA for alterations, and it was ready four days later to accommodate my travel schedule, which was great! I also ordered my veil on this visit, which my mom picked up in a reasonable time. My dress was gorgeous, and I received so many compliments. I want to wear it all the time! Thanks to The Dresser!

I love this bridal salon!! It's a beautiful place and the staff is very friendly! I liked that they remembered my name every time I came in as well. It felt more personal. I also liked their online appointment form and reminder emails. I purchased my wedding gown and veil here, and I thought it was awesome that they had signs for you to hold up for pictures that said. "I said yes at the dresser". It's great because every girl wants who just purchased their gown wants to share their excitement! I only had to do minor alterations when the dress came in. They have in house alterations which was really nice. I worked with Marianne. She is super talented! By the time we were done with alterations, my dress was perfect! And now that the wedding is over, I am having them preserve my dress as well. I definitely trust them with taking care of my dress. I would recommend this salon to anyone!

I am someone with very strong opinions--I either love it or I don't. Tori was the most incredible person I could ask to have worked with when finding a wedding dress. She made sure I had a variety of different gowns to try on, pushed me to try something out of my comfort zone, and led me to my perfect dress! Mary Anne did incredible alterations, making sure it fit me perfectly and that I was comfortable walking in my dress on my big day. When the sash I ordered came in with a stain on it, Tori went above and beyond to fix it (and it wasn't even the Dresser's fault that it had a stain on it!).

The one slip up was when the wrong dress came in (again, not The Dresser's fault--the manufacturer sent the wrong dress...). While this could have been a major disaster, Tori and Mary Anne took care of it. They got the correct dress shipped on an express timeline and ensured that I got exactly what I wanted.

Both my sister and I found our wedding gowns at The Dresser. If you are looking for a small boutique that will provide you personal and professional services, then The Dresser is the perfect place to find your dress!

I said yes to the dress at The Dresser in Fullerton! Amanda was such a warm and friendly salesperson from the get go that I was certain I'd find the "one" there! She started off by asking me details I had in mind about the wedding itself as well as my style preferences to get a feel for the type of dress that would best fit my wedding day. She picked out seven dresses for me to try on and I only made it to dress number four before I found it. From the moment I came out in it, I knew I would be getting married in that dress. (Just writing this review makes me want to go back and try it on again!)

The selection of dresses that they have there is outstanding! They have dresses that would fit any budget big or small. My budget was around $1k - $1.5k, and the dress Amanda found for me was $1499. Be forewarned, there was an added charge to adjust the length of the dress (an Essence of Australia dress), but that means saving money on alterations down the line. So worth it! I also ordered the veil with it, so all-in-all I ended up spending around $2k there. Worth it for the service and selection, imo!

I bought my semi-custom made dress from The Dresser and could not be happier. The women at The Dresser are professionals who make your dress buying experience painless.

I purchased a Casablanca gown where the top was completely customized. I am not a designer or artist so I was nervous that my ideas weren't being communicated properly. But The Dresser helped me sketch it out and feel confident about my choices and when I finally got it, I was so happy. It was exactly what I asked for. They also helped me with choosing a matching veil. I did all my fittings within 2-3 weeks of the wedding and it was really easy.

I would recommend The Dresser for great selection on gowns and the good experience.

I had an amazing experience at The Dresser! I had tried on dresses at at least 6 other places before going to The Dresser. The ladies at The Dresser were very friendly and easy to work with. They weren't uptight like so many other salons, which made it so much easier to finalize my dress choice there. I chose to customize my wedding dress a little bit, and Marianne (the owner) was wonderful in working with me to make my vision a reality. I had at least 7 fittings, and she was always very patient and understanding and able to do just what I wanted. She is incredibly professional and does an amazing job on alterations. My dress looked absolutely stunning when it was completed, and I received endless compliments. I would not hesitate to recommend Marianne and The Dresser to anyone!

Marianne and Tori and all of the staff at the Dresser are amazing. Beautiful shop, beautiful dresses, wonderful service and attention. Marianne is an EXPERT seamstress. My dress was too revealing for my taste so she was able to add some extra lace scalloping at the front to make it more modest. It was so incredible - we all felt as if that one change made the dress how it was supposed to look all along. I was also getting married in 8 weeks (a faster than normal timeline) and they were able to get my dress and fit it and alter it. Overall experience was amazing. This store was my first and only stop!

When everyone said it couldn't be done, Marianne did it! I went to 3 different places for alterations on my dress & they all quoted me a ridiculous price and said it was impossible to alter my dress the way I wanted it. I cried sad tears in my gown. The dresser was the first place I went to look for my wedding gown when I got married a year ago and my experience was nothing but amazing with them. The dressing room area is decorated beautifully and the dresses that I tried on were amazing. I ended up picking the very first dress I had tried on and I received so many amazing compliments on it!
I think there was a small hiccup (I can't remember exactly what it was), but I remember the staff being so accommodating and communicative during the whole process. They did everything they needed to do to make my dress arrive in perfect condition. I highly recommend them :)

I got married two weeks ago and still cannot stop thinking about my dress. It was gorgeous! And I am the type of person who regrets everything immediately. Every prom dress, makeup, event photo I look at and go, "Yikes, wrong choice". But thank God, I look at photos of my wedding and I'm still obsessed with my dress after two weeks, which is a long time for me. I had a friend get her dress here, so I went in and Tori was so helpful and encouraging! The price was also really good and everything from there was smooth. There were plenty of other wedding things that were stressful, so it was nice that my dress was a detail that went smoothly and easily. Every fitting was easy and every alteration that I wanted was executed flawlessly. Marianne and her staff were great and have a great business going and I hope to see it thrive. I can't say every bride should get her dress here because every bride is so unique and could find the perfect dress for them anywhere, but I definitely tell all my engaged friends to check out The Dresser.

Marrianne and the Dresser staff were perfect. I literally had been to 5 other shops and had tried on multiple dresses and found the one here! They have a very wide variety and most importantly Marrianne is an extremely talented seamstress. She changed the neck line of my dress to a sweetheart for me and fitted the dress perfectly. The ladies at The Dresser were wonderful. I was a little apprehensive after reading some reviews on yelp (after I had already made my appointment), but was pleasantly surprised on the amount of professionalism and variety of their dresses. The first shop I went to directed me to the sample sales rack after I gave them my $2000 budget and the next brought me dresses which I fell in love with, but were in the 6K range. When I arrived at The Dresser, I was relieved to find many beautiful dresses I could afford.

Since I had dragged along my Mom and MOH to previous dress shops with no luck, I went to the Dresser alone. The sales girl who helped me was so friendly and didn't get annoyed when I asked to try on many dresses.

When I finally found the one, she took several photos of me so I could show my Mom the dress and seemed genuinely excited in absence of my bridesmaids. When I tried on some of the other dresses, she shared her honest feedback and didn't make me feel like it was about a sale, but an important part of my big day.

Not only is my dress gorgeous, but it totaled in at half of my budget - music to a bride on a budget's ears.

My experience at the Dresser was fabulous and I'd absolutely refer them to my friends.

We were in a hurry to get a beautiful dress for my daughter's wedding, which was only 6 months from the day we started looking. After spending time online to narrow down our choices for styles and stores, we kept seeing The Dresser mentioned. Even though we live in south Orange County, we liked the fact they stock a variety of size and price ranges and have some evening hours during the week.

We were amazed to find my daughter's dream dress in ONE visit to The Dresser and it was very affordable, looking like it cost $1500 MORE than it really did. Because the store's owner is an expert at alterations, the dress was fitted perfectly to the bride. Since they worked with the bridal dress manufacturer frequently, they gave us a very accurate idea of how long it would take to ship and saved us having to put in a rush order.

On the day of pick up, the bride forgot the large storage bag for the gown after the wedding, and after a phone call, they shipped it out that day and we got it the next day.

We strongly advise you make a reservation at an off time to get the best service.

The dresser was definitely one of the vendors that made the most stressful time of my life, a little less stressful. They were Rey accommodating and flexible. Tori was the consultant I mainly worked with and she was always so friendly and helpful!! Definitely recommending The Dresser to many other bride to be's!!!! I will come by soon with pictures!!!

I had an absolutely incredible experience with Dresser Bridal! It was only a month before my wedding and I was desperate. I needed a dress and I needed it fast. Caitlin (my bridal consultant) was amazing from the second I walked in the door - she was so calm, caring, and really listened to all my wants and needs. And she made me feel confident, for the first time, that I would find a dress that I loved (even though I had such a short time before my wedding!) The very first dress she put me in (which was her choice) I completely fell in love with. I had the "bridal moment" that I had been dreaming about and hadn't achieved since I started dress shopping. They were able to order my dress and have it delivered in FOUR DAYS! That is unheard of and miraculous. Marianne did an awesome job with all the alterations. The dress was just gorgeous and I felt so beautiful and happy on my wedding day thanks to all their hard work in such a short amount of time. I cannot thank Caitlin and Marianne enough. They saved my wedding day!!!!

I loved this place because they have a large selection of sample dresses. The winner for me was that I NEVER felt pressured to buy a dress and/or accessories. I bought my dress here and they never pushed veils, shoes, jewelry on me. They're prices are competitive and I definitely loved the relaxed attitude of the sales associates.

I recommend this place!! Couldn't of been better

Overall, I had a great experience with The Dresser. The designer ordered/sent the wrong dress, but everyone at The Dresser was so on top of it and once it was ordered the second time it even came in 2 weeks earlier than it was supposed to! All the dresses there are absolutely beautiful and in great shape.

I had a great expierence from start to finish... well almost. I had schedualed the pickup time for my dress for noon the day prior to my wedding but when I got there they said they had it at 5pm which I knew I couldn't do. However, they were great and got my dress steamed and pressed and me on my way. I really loved that they had a great selection of plus size gowns to try which after calling store after store finding they only had 1 or 2 dresses I would be able to try on it was so nice to try on what I wanted. The lady who does alterations is knowlegable and professonal. All in all I loved my dress and if I had to do it all over again I would do it the same way.

They had a wide selection of dresses when I was shopping also. We were going to a few dress shops on the day of my appointment and ended up arriving an hour early to The Dresser. They told me they were a little short staffed but that they would try to squeeze me in early and that we could look around in the mean time. We started looking around and within 10 mins someone was avaliable to help me. I dont remember her name and I feel horrible but she was amazing!!!! I described that i was having a vintage wedding so she helped me grab dresses that I liked and that we thought would fit my theme. The whole reason I wanted to go to this dress shop was because their claim is that nothing on their floor costs more than $2k. It was awesome!!! I wanted the perfect dress but couldnt imagine spending thousands of dollars on my perfect dress. I tried on a few and wasnt happy with any of them. The Sales Lady then asked if she could pick some out that she thought would be better. She grabbed 2 dresses and I loved both of them!!! I tried them each on 3 times and had the hardest time picking my favorite. I finally decided and love my dress sooooo much!! Every time i put it on for a fitting or anything I dont want to take it off. They gave me a 3 month lead time, but then called me a month after i ordered it to say it came in early because the manufacture had it in stock. Part of me was thinking she may have picked the most expensive dress in the store, but I was wrong. My perfect wedding dress that the Sales Lady picked out for me cost $950 including tax!!!!! I found out later that the Reps dont work on commission which i think makes all the difference. Since then I have recommended everyone i know to at least go try on dresses there, because if you dont find your dress you will at least get to experience real customer service. I live in San Diego but gladly made the trip out to get my dress at the Dresser!!!!

The Dresser worked really well with the BRIDE (me). However....my Mom said they were not friendly with the her when she asked about Mother of the Bride dresses and the Bridesmaids were not fond of the service they recieved. Marianne and her team were amazing. They were a joy to work with and as happy and excited about finding me the perfect wedding gown as I was. My fiance first noticed me (8 years ago) in my Homecoming Princess dress from the Dresser. I was so happy to find the dress I would marry him in at the Dresser.

I went to the Dresser about 14 months before my wedding just to browse. I found a few I liked but I wasn't ready to commit. I was told the next day their were going to have their crazy yearly 15 minute sale! I love crazy sales so I thought I would give it a try. My mom and I went later in the day when the line had died down. The ladies working there remembered me from the day before. One lady even picked a dress she thought I would look great in...well she was right! It was the perfect dress! Couture for 1/8 of the price. All in 15 minutes. While ringing up my steal of a dress I noticed my face on their brides wall...It was a picture of me as a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding. I suggested the store to her and she had bought her dress 1 year prior at the 15 minute sale!

After searching for that "perfect dress" for my wedding, I finally found it at the last place I looked. The Dresser has a large selection of dresses and the staff there is extremely helpful in helping you find THE dress. From start to finish, everyone at The Dresser has been great to do business with and they took care of me and my dress exceptionally well. And the prices won't make you poor. I can not tell you how many compliments I received on my wedding dress! I bought my dress at the Day of Dreams sample sale about a year before my wedding. I went back to the dresser several times after to look for bridesmaid and reception dresses and received outstanding service every time. As the day got closer, Maryanne not only did alterations to a tea, but added on several embelishments and personalizations to my dress that made it look absolutely stunning and better than I could have ever imagined! The Dresser was the 6th store that I had visited to find a wedding dress. Needless to say, after 6 stores, I had tried on probably about 50 dresses and had found "the one" here at The Dresser. I am a picky person and I just hadn't found a dress that I instantly knew was the perfect one. Until The Dresser! I went in on a Thursday afternoon, which I am so glad I did. It may be difficult to manage, but if you can get out of work during the week to shop, I highly recommend it. Shopping for a bridal gown on the weekend (at pretty much any salon) is just insanely busy.

I worked with Tory, who was great. She put me in a few dresses just to test my reactions and find out what I liked and didn't like. And then she put me in the most amazingly beautiful gown by Winnie Couture. As soon as I saw myself in the mirror, I knew!! Throughout this whole process, I kept wondering if I would know instantly when I had finally found the one. I began to doubt that it would happen and then BAM!! There was no question about it. I had found my dress.

One of the best parts was that it was within my budget, which was wonderful because I had visited The White Dress in Corona Del Mar the previous weekend, and they didn't even ASK ME what my budget was. I had to tell the consultant after the 3rd dress that was at least twice as much as my budget. Tory knew my budget and respected it.

It is such a relief to have found the perfect dress. Now on to other planning!!

I saw a dress that I really liked on theknot.com, but that brand was only located at a few locations. Luckily the Dresser had the dress I was looking for. The Dresser was the 2nd place I went to try dresses on. Once I tried the dress on that I had seen online, I fell in love. It was so beautiful, and I ended up purchasing it that day. It did take about 5 1/2 months to get that dress, but I ordered it altered already, so it might have taken a little longer because of that. When I recieved the dress it fit perfect, and I did not need to alter it at all. The girls at The dresser are very friendly and provide great customer service. Caitlyn was the person who helped me, she was great.

Wedding dress shopping can be exhilarating, overwhelming or a combination of both. Where I went wrong was expecting it to be like an episode of "Say Yes to the Dress." Where's the misty-eyed bridal consultant asking about the proposal? Where's the snappy gay fashion director? Where are my tears of joy upon getting veiled?

Needless to say, my experience at 7 different bridal salons throughout LA was underwhelming. It wasn't fun or memorable because of the consultants. They must all get cut from the same cloth because the standard MO was a mid-to-late model woman who was cold, impatient and condescending.

I left most shops realizing that the only reason these consultants made "sales" was because buying an overpriced wedding dress is a no-brainer, guaranteed deal. I mean, you don't have to be warm and fuzzy if one is hellbent on buying her $7000 Eve of Milady princess gown, right?

This brings me to my experience at The Dresser. The reviews, I believe reflect the high expectations brides have for warm and fuzzy service. All things considered and with my slew of markedly inferior service at other salons, The Dresser was fantastic.

My appointment was made a week in advance for a coveted Saturday time slot for me and my three bridesmaids. Caitlin, my consultant, was friendly, but rushed and frazzled. She told me that she typically does 8-10 appointments on Saturday (I was her 5th) and spends an average of 1.5 hours or more per bride. She was very patient and actively listened to what I wanted. After only 4 A-line/ballgown dresses, I asked her if there was something I hadn't considered that she thought would look good on me.

At no time did I ever consider a fit and flared, dropped waist gown. Never. Nope. Turns out that I look fabulous in dropped waist - fit and flares! Caitlin pegged me exceptionally well! Not only did she pull a silhouette I never considered, but she picked one in an unconventional color and fabric and I LOVED IT. Then she did it again and again.

Prior to Caitlin, there were no dresses pulled by consultants that I liked. Not one. At The Dresser, because of Caitlin's picks, I'm having sleepless nights debating between THREE dresses. That's a very good problem to have. The best part, she didn't try to upsell me. The first choice dress she pulled it $2000 below my budget.

Diana Fang, another consultant at the Dresser was freakin' awesome! I ended up working with her for the remainder of my fittings and bridesmaids dresses.

Tip for shopping brides: understand that these consultants devote a lot of time and many may not ever buy with them. It's a demanding job. But, it's the consultant's job to keep their feelings in check. If Caitlin was irritated, I never saw it. I could have been her first appointment of the day and I would have believed her. That's a quality sales consultant. So lower your expectations and sift through your consultants. It matters that you have a good experience with them, so give your business to those who earn it.

As a larger girl, I wanted to find a shop that had every size of gown to try on, the Dresser certainly did. I tried on more gowns at their store than at any of the other six or so stores I visited before them. I explained my budget being around $800 or less and they just said "sure" and started pulling dress after dress, where every other place said they "had a few at that price" the dresser had dozens at my price range. The one I ended up choosing, I knew I wanted it the second I put it on... then I realized looking in the mirror that I didn't know the price. We took it off and she told me it was $630, I was stunned! and that dress was sold as fast as I could get my pen and card out.

They were more than happy to help with mailing my dress to Canada and then, once I had flown back to the area a week before the wedding, had it steamed and got me an appointment for a petticoat fitting within days of the wedding during the busiest month of the year.

They are very dedicated to my brides and every time I entered the store, even if I didn't have an appointment and just did an unannounced stop by to show someone my dress... they still remembered my name. A major plus in my opinion.

The dress was the hardest decision for me to make regarding the wedding. I don't own ONE piece of white clothing and hardly ever wear dresses or strapless anything. I think I tried on over 30 dresses from 5 different stores and finally found THE one at The Dresser. What I loved about the dresser is that I came in to actually try on a very specific dress by Martina Liana that only The Dresser carried. I was almost set on buying that dress too until my sales associate Kaitlyn told me to come back in 3 weeks to take advantage of their trunk show discount price. SCORE! A store that WANTS you to save money was a huge plus in my book. I come back a few weeks later when the designer is in the store and end up intrigued by a dress that she brought in that had not been released yet by her Essence of Australia line. I hadn't even seen the back yet when I tried it on, but the second I stepped out into the huge mirrored room and saw the train on the back, I was in LOVE. IN LOVE! I placed my deposit and knew it was the one. The Dresser would often call me to give me ETAs and updates on the dress, so I felt very well taken care of. Once the dress came in, alterations were completed within days and everyone at the store was just so caring and supportive since I didn't have any local bridesmaids or parents that attended any of these appointments with me. I was nervous doing it all by myself but the faces on all my family and friends confirmed for me that I had made the right decision. I've never felt more beautiful (and skinny!) than I did that day.

I had the easiest time finding my perfect dress thanks to the great people over at the Dresser. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and patient. Alice did a wonderful job helping me narrow down dresses. Any time I needed an appointment they gave me lots of options and responded quickly. In my experience my alterations were perfect and the lady who does them has a lot of experience and is straight to the point because she has a business to run and knows what she is doing, not to be confused with being mean. Their dress prices are very reasonable and they will work with you until you are 150% happy. I have referred all my girlfriends to this store.

I had the hardest time finding a dress...I went to so many shops and tried a ton on. The gals at The Dresser were so super patient and helpful! And, once I bought my dress, the great service continued. My fittings went well, and all of the alterations on my dress were perfect.

I looked at several boutiques in Orange County and found the selection and prices to be the best at The Dresser! I loved my dress so much, Caitlin (am I spelling your name right?) actually picked out my dress and I tried it on to be nice... it ended up being the perfect dress for me! I totally had that cheesy "this is it" feeling when I came out of the dressing room. She understood my taste and chose a great dress for me, thank you so much. We had some difficulties with my dress, getting the length right... the designers fault, no fault of The Dressers, but Mary Ann did beautiful tailor work to fix it and you couldn't even tell (she is so talented). I felt so pretty in both my dress and my veil (they have a great veil selection as well) and can't wait to share photos of my dress when the photographers photos are done! Thank you to all the women at The Dresser!

I absolutely LOVE the Dresser! I went there yesterday to look at dresses and Allison helped me find a beautiful, perfect dress. They have a great selection of plus size samples so you can actually try something on to see what it will look like on you, if you aren't a size 2. She was very helpful making sure that I tried different styles on just so I knew what they looked like on. The salon is beautiful and kept very clean. There was no rush and no pressuring. Even with my mom's million questions, there was never a rush, eye roll, nothing. Highly recommended.

Simply the best wedding boutique ive ever worked with. I love them! They helped me find the dress I wanted VERY PATIENTLY with never a negative word sigh or a roll of the eyes. Even when my dress was sent from the designer very different than the sample. They fixed it no questions asked. I cant express how much I appreciate and love them. Thanks Allison and Dyanna!

My dress was a little harder to find because it was an older year and season for the dress. But The Dresses had it and even for much less then other dress boutiques that I went to. The staff was very helpful and the alterations were a breeze. I thought I looked gorgeous!

All the staff are very accomodating. Someone as picky as myself, they were very patient in making sure that I end up with the "perfect dress" for my wedding. The dress arrived on time and the alterations were right on. Everyone loves my wedding dress.

I bought my High School Prom dress at the Dresser to headed back there for my wedding. They have great customer service and an excellent selection of dresses with a variety of prices. They were able to order my dress in petite length which prevented me from having to pay for hemming, so they are flexible and help you to save money if needed. They have a new location as of Spring 2008 in downtown Fullerton and it is much larger than their old store and is beautiful. Their tailoring is also great and very reasonable (many prices better than David's Bridal). I felt like they really valued me as a bride and not just another customer like I experienced at larger Bridal stores (I'm sure you can guess who I'm referring to). I highly recommend the Dresser for your wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, mother dresses, and any accessories you might need.

I loved my dress, but I have to say I loved the experience just as much. We bought my dress at The Dresser because of the service we were given. Their selection of gowns is set at the perfect amount... just enough to have the right amount of options, but not enough to overwhelm you. As a bride that was very important to me. We bought ALL of my accessories from them; my headpiece, petticoat, veil, 3 dresses (2 bridal gowns + one bridesmaid gown to be worn at a party), shoes & the CUTEST couture looking clutch you ever saw! My experience was all that I had hoped for, from my first initial visit to my final fitting. Every need and desire was met. Marianne & Diana are the best around! You won't be disappointed!

I loved my dress! It was a Maggie Sotero that I found at this cute shop for only $500.00! I was hesitant to go in at first after seeing the big stores (David's Bridal & Alfred Angelo's) but I am soooo happy that I did, It was the best decision of my entire wedding, I found the dress of my dreams and It's true that once you put it on, you just know it's the one! The ladies were very helpful, appointments were made to work around my busy schedule, the dress was perfect on the day of, they taught my MOH how to tie the back up and everything! I even got my veil and crown there :)

I got my wedding dress at the Dresser during a Stella York trunk show (which is what brought me in). The staff was really nice, helpful, and encouraging. I found the dress of my dreams there, and got to meet the designer, who was amazing and gushed with me about how awesome the dress was. I had a great experience with fittings too, they have some late hours which are accommodating during the week to miss the weekend crowds. It was horrifying to watch the seamstress cut my dress with a pair of scissors, but she did a good job, was thorough and understanding of my need for perfection; and the bustles lasted my entire wedding day. As an extremely heavy dress, that took some strong sewing! I haven't brought it in for cleaning yet, but they gave me a coupon to bring it back for after wedding cleaning, because they were so helpful and took care of me and my dress, I plan to bring it there for the final cleaning for storage. Loved my experience and my dress. Was pricy. But worth it.

I looked EVERYWHERE for my wedding dress. I had gone to over ten bridal stores! What I love best about this place is they are extremely honest, upfront, and not pushy. I never had the feeling or impression they were there just to "make a buck". Unlike a lot of bridal stores, they do not try to sell you on everything in their store. Their prices are bit more reasonable than other dress shops. My dress was less at the Dresser than other stores. Another store-Jinny's Bridal- told me, due to me ordering my dress late, that they'd have to charge me a "rush" fee...bogus!! The Dresser didn't charge me any type of rush fee and assured me my dress would arrive in time-came in 4 weeks. Another thing that stood out to me was that I was first quoted one price on my dress by a Dresser consultant, later Marianne (owner) said that was the wrong price but she honored what we had been originally quoted which I highly admire!
They do not overbook, which is helpful because some bridal stores are swarming with brides and makes choosing a wedding dress excruciating-it's not fun having to share a mirror with ten other girls. The staff, including Marianne, are not the very overly warm, fuzzy type but they are honest, helpful- and compared to some other bridal stores- they are knowledgeable and down right good consultants. Marianne is great with alterations, had no problems; was willing to change anything I was not happy with. Would most definitely recommend this place!

I had the best wedding dress experience at the Dresser! I really appreciated their no-frills, no-fuss approach. They are so service friendly and help those of us who know nothing about wedding dresses find the perfect match! Amanda was beyond incredible-she really takes the time to understand not only what you like in a dress, but what the look/feel of your wedding, venue, etc. are. Trust these ladies and try on everything they bring-have an open mind! If I didn't, I would not have even considered the dress I fell in love with. They have a great eye and can tell what will/won't work. They are also spot-on with their advice on what size to order-I think Amanda was going down to the millimeter at one point to ensure my dress would be the right size! Marianne, the owner, is fabulous, as well. She is such a meticulous seamstress and can probably make any dress fit any way you like-mine fit like a glove when it was all said and done! I bought my veil here, too-something I did not think I needed guidance on. Their selection is extensive, but not overwhelming. Prices definitely within reason for the gowns they carry. I cannot compliment the Dresser more. You end up spending quite a bit of time on your dress, so an experienced and friendly staff is definitely a must!

I had such a great experience with The Dresser. This was my first destination for wedding gown shopping and I'm so glad I didn't have to go anywhere else! My first time trying on dresses was great, I felt like I tried on just what I needed to narrow down my options, my consultant even helped me accessorize the dress I chose! Fittings were done step by step based on what needed to be done, and the results were always flawless. Highly recommend!

After a lot of research, I found my perfect dress by Essence of Australia here! I had found the dress online and The Dresser was having a Trunk Show for the designer one weekend. When my mother and I went in I was a little put off by the initial attitude of our shopping assistant. We were so excited for our first time trying on dresses and my mom playfully asked for a glass of champagne to celebrate. The gal responded fairly abrupt with, "we don't serve champagne here - it's not like you see on tv." Granted - yes we understand that it is not ideal to have liquids anywhere near your beautiful gowns... We hoped the shopping assistant would have shown a little more enthusiasm for my big day. Anyhow - the rest of our experience was great. We purchased both the dress and veil that same day, and I came back later for my fitting. I do want to emphasize how AMAZING and knowledgable the seamstress was during my fittings. Her service and helpfulness definitely made up for our first impression. Overall I was very happy and would ultimately recommend the dresser.

I loved purchasing my dress from The Dresser! The service I received was fantastic, with the girls helping me feel very comfortable as I tried on various dresses. I felt that my dress was fairly priced. The only thing to be aware of is that you really must schedule an appointment in advance at this vendor.

Catlyn was so helpful, didnt pressure me, made me me so comfortable and very HONEST. Even the owner stayed late one day to finish helping me making sure everything was perfect on my alterations. GORGEOUS dresses and very reasonable, alterations ughh kinda pricey but hey its a perfect fit and your the bride, well worth cost to look priceless. Definitely check them out.

Overall, I had a great experience with The Dresser, mainly because I found the dress of my dreams here: Strapless satin with slight sweetheart neckline, fit-and-flare, corset back, beautiful asymmetrical beading and pickups. So far, it's a one-of-a-kind since I bought it at a 2013 trunk sale and did score 10% off. I actually heard about this place from a bride whose wedding I performed at. She had gotten her bridesmaids dresses there (they were long silver prom dresses) and while those were out of my price range, the bridal gowns were average price. My dress was about $1500 without alterations. I found the girls to be helpful and friendly, and although they did overcharge on one bill, I caught it and they corrected it and apologized, so no harm done. My initial sales consultant, Diana Fang (she has my name so that was easy to remember) had great, honest taste and was helpful in making my final decision. This dress really is universal and would look good on many body types, and while I originally thought about re-selling it, I decided to keep it in case my sisters want to borrow it or possibly future daughter - it's THAT great of a dress :)

My first experience with the Dresser was when I was looking for my own gown. I had fallen in love with one dress and unfortunately this shop didn't carry the line. Even though, I was "just in case there is a better dress" shopping, Dianna was very sweet and spent over an hour with me helping me through their extensive collection. After shopping for myself, I knew that this was the spot to get my bridesmaids dresses. I had six bridesmaids spread all over California and the staff of the Dresser contacted and coordinated ordering and payment with all six so that I didn't have to worry about it...but it doesn't end there. I went with the Melissa Sweet line of dresses and as beautiful as their dresses are, the company is as difficult to work with. Melissa Sweet missed the shipping date and Dianna and Mary Ann spent hours on the phone with the MS rep in New York tracking down my dresses. Fortunately, because of the Dresser staff's tenacity, my dresses were located and shipped overnight. When the dresses arrived 7 days before the wedding, one dress was made incorrectly (the top was a different color from the rest) and Mary Ann completely remade the top of the dress out of fabric hemmed from another dress. The dress ended up looking 500 times better than in the original fabric. When my bridesmaids arrived 2 days before the wedding, Mary Ann made it a point to see every single girl in their dress and made all the necessary adjustments that day. I can't begin to express my gratitude for them taking a potentially disastrous situation and acting immediately to save my bridesmaids dresses! Side note: This is a great business that is run by a small staff and not only do they sell the dresses they do all the alterations too, so respect their request for appointments and you will be treated like a princess!

Jessica and Cailyn were great. They made sure I was taken care of with my dresses. One of the times I went, one of the girls was not very attentive. I had said yes to the dress and didn’t say anything about taking pictures with the props. My sister had to ask if it was okay if we used them.
