perfect wedding venue
Ever since I first saw the Don CeSar, I knew I wanted to get married at the historic hotel for its grand appearance and beautiful décor. From the moment we toured the hotel to our wedding weekend, the Don CeSar was nothing short of amazing to work with for our destination wedding. Despite being closed for 6 months due to Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the Don CeSar General Manager, Barbara, and the Director of Events, Kasey, had open communication and made the entire wedding planning experience as seamless as possible. They were compassionate, caring, and did everything in their power to make sure the hotel and its courtyard was reopened (and in great condition!) in time for our wedding. (We were the first wedding back the weekend of hotel’s reopening.) Kasey, Barbara, the hotel staff, and the hotel banquet team (chefs, servers, and bartenders) went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was the best day of our lives. We truly received a royal experience as the bride and groom. Additionally, the hotel and its staff made sure that our guests were properly accommodated. Every single one of our guests were impressed by the hotel staff’s amazing top tier service and had nothing but great things to say about the hotel.
When it came to the actual wedding day, the banquet team provided first class service. They even accommodated unexpectedly moving our cocktail hour indoors due to rain without missing a beat. The banquet chef prepared an impressive meal to perfection for our 180 guests. One guest even made a point to say that it was “the best filet and salad” they had ever had. The pastry chef, Amanda, also prepared a cake that was a rendition of my grandmother’s 1950's wedding cake. The spectacular appearance and taste well exceeded our expectations. The servers and bartenders were nothing short of amazing as well. There were no lines to get a drink, and each server was very attentive. My planner, florist, and rental companies had zero issues working with the venue to set up the grand ballroom. The band/violinist were able to perform without any issues. Our wedding day/weekend was truly perfect and the Don CeSar made it memorable and beyond anything I could’ve ever dreamed of. I would highly recommend this wedding venue to any newly engaged couple looking for the best beach wedding experience. There is nothing else quite like the Don CeSar.

A dream come true!
We can’t thank Jennifer and the team at the Don enough for our unforgettable wedding! It wasnt just about that night, it was the weeks and months leading up to the event. Jennifer is a consummate professional, has a keen eye for detail and delivered everything as expected. We love the Don, we love Jennifer and we will never forget 4/17/26! -

Amazing 100 out of 10 stars
Our wedding at the Don Cesar was amazing! It was everything we could have hoped for and more. Our sales manager Jaclyn was fantastic throughout the whole process. She was always super transparent with any costs or updates. Just one example of this is there was a bit of construction on the property and she made sure to let us know about that way in advance so there would be no surprises even though this construction really didn't impact us. She was also great the day of the event and made sure everything ran smoothly. I really appreciated how above and beyond she and the whole team at the Don Cesar were! We ended up having our ceremony inside due to weather but it really didn't matter in the end because the whole hotel is so pretty. Our guests loved the whole experience as well and we got feedback that all the food and staff were fantastic. We also heard from our guests that they really enjoyed the hotel amenities like the pool and beach and it was really special that they all could enjoy such a great hotel! Also loved the large bridal suite!! I 100000% would recommend the Don Cesar if you are looking for a beach/tropical wedding or a venue in the Tampa Bay area. Cannot say enough great things!! -

Fairytale Wedding
Charm, elegance, charisma, grandeur, historic, monumental, are just a few words to describe this magnificent gem! My Daughter fell in love with The Don from the moment she and her Fiance walked through the doors!
Every staff member, every meal, every detail in the planning was perfect!! If a Fairytale Wedding is what you wish for, then run, don’t walk and plan your wedding here! My Daughter had her dream Wedding 2/14/26 ❤️ She had beautiful weather, and a sunset!!

A Dream Come True
Where do I begin? I typically don't even take the time to submit a review, but Jennifer made a dream I have wanted to come true for years come to life right before my eyes. She was able to work with my budget while also going the extra mile to ensure everything went perfect. I HIGHLY recommend doing your engagement or any other event at The Don Cesar and specifically with Jennifer. She is truly a blessing. -

A True Fairy-Tale Wedding at the Iconic Pink Palace
From the moment we stepped onto the grounds of The Don CeSar, we knew our hearts were already home. We toured it before looking at other venues in the area, but nothing we saw afterward could even begin to compare. The beauty, romance, and iconic presence of the Pink Palace are truly unmatched—it feels like stepping into a real-life fairy tale.
Jen Guidry and her entire team were exceptional from start to finish. They guided us through every decision with such care, from helping us choose the perfect ballroom to flawlessly accommodating a last-minute change into the brand-new ballroom. That space was absolutely breathtaking—spacious, pristine, elegant, and filled with natural light, with stunning views that made the entire room feel even more magical. Everything felt fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed for a celebration. Being the very first wedding ever held in that ballroom made the experience even more special and unforgettable.
Our entire wedding weekend exceeded every dream we had. We stayed in the penthouse suites, which added such a fun, luxurious, and unforgettable touch to the celebration. From the stunning beachfront location to the pools, bars, and restaurants, to the incredible sunsets and endless views—there is truly something for everyone. The spa day we enjoyed the day before the wedding was the perfect way to relax and soak it all in, and our guests loved having so much to do all weekend long. The state-of-the-art gym and incredible amenities only added to the experience.
Most importantly, the wedding day itself was pure magic. Our guests are still talking about it and saying it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended. It was the best day of our lives—something we will cherish forever and a true dream come true.
If you are truly searching for a fairy-tale wedding, I wouldn’t even consider looking anywhere else. The Don CeSar is simply incomparable.-

The Don CeSar made our dream come to life!
Our wedding at the Don was the best night of our lives! We could not recommend them more! Kasey and her team are absolutely amazing, from day 1 they were on top of everything. Kasey was always responsive in a timely manner and we had all the confidence in the world that our day would be smooth. The whole process was so enjoyable (tasting was exceptional as well) and the day-of went so well, thanks to the care they put in having exceptional service. The food, the staff, the venue, every single aspect of our wedding exceeded our expectations! We will forever be grateful to the wedding team at the Don Cesar for giving us a special memory that we will never forget! -

Our dream wedding at The Pink Palace!!!!
If you are looking to get married on St. Pete Beach- look no further! We had our wedding at the Don Cesar and could not be more happy with how everything went- it was truly a perfect day and we are so grateful that we chose them. From the moment we checked in- we were treated like royalty and every single staff member truly went above and beyond for us. On our wedding day, our wedding coordinator, Jennifer Guidry, ensured everything was on time and perfect. She is an incredibly kind and personable woman, but also makes sure everyone is doing what they need to be! We had our ceremony in the courtyard - which was absolutely beautiful and protected from the overall hotel (it feels private and intimate, even if the pool etc may be nearby). Our guests were in absolute awe about cocktail hour in south terrace- which was STUNNING with the sunset. Their wedding dinner service was also incredibly prompt + delicious - our guests couldn’t stop talking about it! Every serving staff and staff member was truly so kind, accommodating, and efficient in what they did. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day or a more hard working group of staff members.
If you are getting married here you NEED to work with Jennifer Guidry. She was the most special part of our day and we will remember her dedication to our big day forever!!!! We love you Jenn!!!

Unbelievable!!
We had an AMAZING wedding at the Don Cesar and would 10/10 recommend them as a venue for couples looking for a high quality experience for themselves and their guests!
Our coordinator, Jennifer Guidry, made our planning process a breeze. She was so responsive and flexible with our many “out-of-the-box” requests for DIY decor and unique elements.
Our guests had an incredible time hanging out at the hotel before and after the events — raving about the pool and beach. Guests also highlighted the other vendors we chose — most of whom came from the Don’s preferred vendor list!! -

The best in St Pete
We had our sons "Rehearsal Dinner" there. My wife and I had ours there 30 years ago and it is was very special to be able to recreate the party. While it was officially the rehearsal dinner it was actually for 64 guests. We had an amazing dinner, watched the sunset on the private balcony and the staff and team at the Don were absolutely perfect. They made the entire process extremely easy and I am sure we will be back soon when planning my daughters wedding! -

The wedding of our dreams
We had the wedding of our dreams at the Don on 4.20.20. We held our rehearsal dinner and farewell brunch on the 5th floor terraces, ceremony in the courtyard and reception in the Grand Ballroom and it was all what we imagined and more. The entire Don team is amazing. Kasey Bussell was our main point of contact for the event and she was incredible to work with throughout and make us feel so special along the way! Leo Haskell at the front desk was amazing and took great care of us and all our guests. So was Jamie at Society Table - she even learned our names and was so accommodating. Amelia was so wonderful at both the tasting and setting up our lunch on Saturday - she is so sweet! And Victoria was so helpful transporting all of our luggage. Sheldon was our awesome banquet captain and made sure things were perfect. We couldn’t have asked for more. Our guests had an incredible time and were blown away by the hotel. The food was also delicious. If you are considering having your event here - do it!!! Thank you to the entire Don team!! -

Best wedding venue!
I cannot believe how amazing the wedding was from start to finish! Kasey is my girl! So happy to have her throughout the process and on our wedding day!! The food was spot on! They took care of all of the food allergies for myself and our guests! They were so grateful for that! The key lime cake was to die for!! No one ever knew it was vegan!! Amanda is incredible!! The whole staff at The Don was so nice and we loved the whole crew! We were sad to leave.

The best wedding at the best location, Don Cesar
Kasey:
Sorry it took so long to write this but two days after we returned to Balto we had our first grandchild.
I would like to thank you and your entire staff for the the outstanding job you guys did for Kristen's wedding. From the first moment we talked to you to the last minute of the wedding you and your staff took care of all or our needs. The venue was great, the food was great, the booze was great, everything was great. Many of our guests commented it "was the best wedding they have ever been too and the hotel and accommodations were spectacular."
Kristen commented "it was the best day of my life", and you were the one that made that possible. I know you, Kristen and Karen took care of most of the details but all my interactions with you were wonderful. I appreciated that you just got the job done and nothing was left out. I forgot the tall gentleman's name that worked w/us at the rehearsal dinner but he was great. He was always present and took care of everything.
Don Cesar is our new annual vacation spot and we are recommending to all friends and family to get married there.

10/10 Dream Wedding
The Don CeSar was by far and away the best venue we could have ever picked. Beyond being in a beautiful part of the country where there is an incredible amount of activity for every type of guest to explore or relax, we didn’t anticipate how many of our guests would choose to hang out at the Don for how luxurious, friendly, beautiful, and the many various activities that are present there, during the days of our wedding.
Beyond this— I must say, the staff at the Don made our wedding. From Kasey Bussell, the Director of Events, working hand-in-hand with us from beginning to end and being extremely helpful and collaborative, to Humberto and Carlos who made sure every meticulous detail was taken care of and constantly checked in with us to see if there were any last second adjustments that they could take care of, to the Scott & the rest of the staff who were all briefed, incredibly attentive, and worked extremely hard to make sure we didn’t wait for a thing on our special day. We were truly treated like royalty and every detail they went above and beyond on (prepping our rooms, gifts, constantly checking in) made us feel like we and our guests were the only ones at the hotel.
Can’t recommend enough, this is an easy choice for anyone looking for the “destination wedding” where it truly meets every aspect of the word “destination”, and your guests will all be incredibly glad and thankful they went. Every guest of our wedding notes they’ll be spending more time at the Don from here on out! -

Dream come true
From beginning to end, the experience was perfect. The Don Cesar offers a curated menu so the process is not overwhelming and easy to follow. The venue, menu, setup, customer service were all wonderful. Our day was absolutely perfect and a dream come true!-

Dreamy venue for “I Do, Take Two” Wedding 👰🏼♀️
Wow! Where do I begin?
Last year, our first wedding was cancelled 5 days before due to Hurricane Ian (scheduled at a different venue) and we were absolutely crushed. Luckily, we were able to plan an “I do, Take 2” ceremony at the Don and it did not disappoint.
Kasey worked with us to create an unbelievable and meaningful event to celebrate our love and marriage. We had our ceremony in the courtyard during golden hour then guests were ushered to the north terrace to watch the sun set as we took some photos on the beach.
Then it was party time as 100 of our closest family and friends joined us in the King Charles Ballroom.
Having planned two weddings now (at different venues) I can honestly say everyone at the Don Cesar was friendly, professional and so invested in our vision. It was a stunning backdrop and a day we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Wonderful Experience
The whole experience was Magical. From our beginning phone call with Kasey Bussell, Director or Events, she did everything to make us feel so welcome and was so helpful with helping us pick what would work best for us. We had a lot of out of town Guests coming to our wedding, so Kasey was able to work with us to set up accommodations for all of our Guests. Kasey was always there and available either by email or phone call anytime we had any questions. The Don Cesar was the perfect destination for us for the wedding because it allowed our Guests to enjoy all the amenities at the hotel, relax not leave the property if they didn't want to. Vianka Garcia, Event Service Coordinator, was wonderful to work with. Vianka was there with me every step of the way while we were making all the plans for our big day. Vianka was with me the day I was getting ready, she came to check on me to see if there was anything I needed, and to help me feel stress free while I waited to marry the love of my life. Vianka was so kind and you could just tell that she genuinely loves what she does. Vianka was able to help set up spa appointments for myself, my sister and mom to get get treatments - hair cuts, manicures and pedicure at the Spa Oceana. We held our ceremony in the Courtyard at 6PM, Cocktail Hour was in the Del Prado Room, and the Reception was held in the King Charles Ballroom. Everything was stunning and beautiful.
Our flowers were done by Bruce Wayne Florals, our Photographer was Victoria Angela Photography, our Videographer was Love It Wedding Films, Hair and Make up was Lasting Luxe Artistry and our Officiant was Dr. Andy LePage, of Stress Free Weddings and Paper was The Knot.
During the cocktail hour and reception, Amelia Hasak, Banquet Captain was amazing, she was with us during our tasting and we had to have her a part of our wedding day because she was so amazing. Amelia was so attentive, she was always there making sure my husband and myself didn't need to leave the dance floor. The Bar and Severs who worked the cocktail hour and reception, were Miranda, Jeff, Sheldon, Mia and Denise, the next day for Brunch we had Sam, Pattie and Mia, everyone was so kind and took care of our ourselves and all of our Guests. We couldn't have asked for kinder people to work with.
If you are looking for a beautiful venue, wonderful people to work with, you need to have your wedding at the Don Cesar. My husband and myself plan on going back to the Don Cesar every year for our anniversary. -

The Don CeSar gave me the fairy tale wedding I always wanted!
I had my fairy tale wedding at the Don Cesar. It was an incredible experience. Vianka and Nicole who are in charge of weddings at the don were absolutely wonderful. Nicole helped me select the best options and was very accommodating with my timeline. Vianka went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Not only with everything regarding the hotel, food options, photo locations, etcs. She actually cared about every detail and helped me through the entire process when it came to selecting other vendors. She answered every single one of my calls and helped me in every way possible. On the day, that truly goes as fast as people say, she even helped me fix my dress to hide my train so I could make my entrance while my bridesmaids had to rush in. Honestly I wish I could give them even more stars but I hope this review can at least do justice to the amazing personalized service the don offers.
We also stayed there for a few nights and everything was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I can’t wait to go back and celebrate many anniversaries together at the wonderful pink palace where we got married. Thank you to all the staff and all the people involved on my wedding day at the Don CeSar. You guys truly helped it be the fairy tale I always hoped it would be! - Almy

Elopement Perfection
After expending much time effort and money on our initial wedding plan that was canceled due to Covid we were looking to elope. The Don Cesar had the perfect package for an intimate wedding on the beach. We did not have to plan anything. Everything was included in the package. All we did was show up and enjoy the moment. -

Most Incredible Day
The Don Cesar provided a wedding day that was beyond our original vision and surpassed our dreams. Nicole and McKenna were our coordinators, and were very professional and went above and beyond for us again and again. We were so impressed and thankful for them! They supported us in our million questions, requests, and changes. They were all seen through. Beyond that, the Don provided the most incredible experience for our guests. We could not see our day being as unique, beautiful, and memorable anywhere else! -

Our wedding day was perfect from beginning to end! Nicole and Wendy, our coordinators at the Don, as well as the additional staff involved, were so responsive and easy to work with. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly what we wanted. The food and cake were phenomenal, and our beach ceremony set-up and ballroom for the reception were beautiful! We received so many compliments from our guests, and couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience! -

Incredible Wedding
I knew from the moment we toured the Don that we had to have our wedding there, but I had no idea just how incredible the wedding would turn out. Everyone at the Don Cesar was so helpful and attentive, they made our wedding absolutely perfect. Everyone was gushing about the amazing food and cake, the views, the overall beauty of the hotel. Happily Ever After
Like many girls, I was also planning a wedding during the pandemic. We decided to have a small ceremony at The Don CeSar in October 2021. It was the most wonderful and special celebration that surpassed all expectations. Nicole and Wendy are the most supportive, responsive, and kindest wedding professionals. Since our first visit in February, they have made me feel like the most important bride despite our small ceremony. This resort is gorgeous and obviously in such demand but it's the personal touch and high level of communication Nicole and Wendy provide that sets it apart. They were able to connect us to the most incredible vendors, truly creating a customized experience for us and our guests. One of my favorite memories is the two of them coming up to my parents' suite and hand delivering the bouquet and other arrangements. It was a stormy morning and they immediately put me at ease and reaffirmed that I chose the right place to say I do. Starting our happily ever after at The Don Cesar was such an amazing experience and I highly recommend them if you're looking for a truly special experience from booking to I do! -

Everything and more! My dream wedding!
I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing and perfectly seamless my wedding day was at the Don thanks to Nicole. Every single aspect of my wedding that I had hoped for she brought to life. Planning from a far without seeing the area or destination was somewhat overwhelming for me and she took my ideas and ran. She kept telling me everything would be taken care of and it was. I have not stopped reminiscing on my day since we returned. We are looking forward to an anniversary trip to The Don next June! -

The Don CeSar is a magical place to get married.
The Don hotel and beach are gorgeous. Nicole and the staff were wonderful and very accommodating. We loved the hair and makeup services at the Don spa. The staff there went the extra mile to make us look great fir our wedding day. We can’t wait to see the photos!! -

The easiest most accommodating hotel I’ve ever dealt with!
Don Cesar went way above all of our expectations! From the wedding planner Devin and Nicole to the Rev Rick and his wife Tammy to all the people serving our lunch and the hotel staff! Everyone was so accommodating ! The rooms were perfect and it was the most romantic wedding on the beach I could of ever dreamed of! We will all definitely be back! Don CeSar/beach house suites wedding
We absolutely loved our wedding at the Don CeSar! The staff was amazing and the views are incredible. We hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Don CeSar and then the actual wedding at their other property the beach house suites. Both events were perfect and went beautifully! Amazing wedding venue on all levels!
We had such an incredible experience having The Don CeSar as our wedding venue and would not change a single thing. The hotel itself is beautiful with so much character and class. It also has so much to offer by way of options to create the perfect setting for any event. We had our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and reception all at The Don CeSar, and each location perfectly fit with what we had envisioned for our wedding weekend. From the start, working with Beth Clark and Devin Walter was a first-class experience. They were both extremely helpful and amazing throughout the entire process of initial venue tour, answering our seemingly endless questions about the wedding packages, securing our date and contract details, and everything leading up to and during the wedding weekend. Devin especially helped make the final month before the wedding much less stressful for us as she was extremely organized, thorough, and accommodating as we worked through all of the final details and timelines for our weekend. She was also on top of communication and coordination with our vendors as we approached the week of the wedding to ensure everyone was on the same page and all important details were covered. Now for the wedding weekend itself….everything was flawless. The courtyard setting for our ceremony and cocktail hour was gorgeous and our guests were so impressed with how picturesque the venue was. The food was definitely top-notch. We’ve received many compliments from our guests about how delicious the food was and that it was the best food they’ve ever eaten at a wedding. The hor d'oeuvres and gnocchi station during the cocktail hour were definitely crowd favorites. All of the staff were so gracious and on top of everything the whole night – we’ve received a lot of positive feedback from guests regarding the amazing level of service from all of the staff at The Don. The grand ballroom was also a stunning and picture-perfect location for our reception. Our favorite things about the layout of the grand ballroom are the built-in stage (this was very important to us as we had a 9-piece band and wanted to make sure the room still felt very open with plenty of space) and the two-tiered levels. The multiple levels make the room look even more grand, but it was also great for guests to have the ability to hangout on the second tier overlooking the dance floor when they needed to take a break but still wanted to feel like they were part of all of the dancing and excitement. The team members at The Don also offered so many nice, thoughtful touches throughout the weekend that helped make everything even more memorable and special. I cannot thank Beth, Devin, and the entire staff at The Don CeSar enough for exceeding our expectations and making our wedding weekend better than we could have imagined. The Don will now forever be a very special place for us and we are so excited to come back often for weekend stays to enjoy all this beautiful hotel has to offer.-

Everything was perfect
I am from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and I stumbled upon the Don CeSar as a potential venue for my small (32 guests) destination wedding. They had my date available, and the price was close enough to my budget, so I booked it! I don't even have the right words to explain how incredible my entire experience was at this hotel. I had the most amazing weekend. The coordinator and staff at the hotel were awesome. I can't imagine getting married anywhere else! The wedding was perfect in every way! It was worth every penny! A dream wedding venue!
My husband jokes that he was always afraid of bringing me to the Don CeSar when venue hunting because he knew I’d fall in love and there’d be no other option. And well, that happened exactly. I’m not even sure where to start with this incredible venue – first, it’s just sheer beauty being a monumental pink castle sitting on the #1 beach in the U.S. It really doesn’t get better than that! From the moment we stepped foot inside, we were treated like absolute royalty and felt so special and well-respected. We first met with Charles Kaval and were then later paired with Nicole Johnson when we decided to move forward with the Don as our venue. Nicole and Charles both held our hands every step of the way and helped us make our big decisions. We opted for a brunch-wedding and had unique requests in terms of our food and drinks and without question, they always, always accommodated our requests. Nicole would invite us to every bridal expo, and welcomed us and our Confetti Events coordinator 2 months before the big day for our tasting. We had a BLAST – Nicole truly felt like a friend to us, and we just so enjoyed working with her. At the tasting, we met the chef who was also incredible. It seemed every single team member we met was just top-notch, so kind, and so excited for us. I can’t say enough amazing things about the Don’s staff. Week/day-of, Nicole made sure everything was prepared for us and that we felt comfortable and happy again, making us feel so important and valued. The day was just perfect, literally in every sense of the word. There’s not a single thing the Don didn’t do right and we felt as if we were living in our fairy tale. Amelia was our catering manager for the day and also just so, so sweet. She and her team made sure that my husband and I were never without food or drinks and personally catered to us for the entirety of the day. And to top it all off, when all of our guests left and my husband and I wanted to enjoy a special moment together, their team brought out 2 chairs for us at the edge of the terrace, and champagne glasses, so we could just enjoy what had just been the best day. I can honestly say I will miss our wedding-planning team at the Don, and we look forward to stopping in yearly for our anniversary (and more!). Above and beyond
Choosing The Don Cesar as our wedding venue was the perfect decision. We were originally supposed to get married at Disney, but with the pandemic we decided to switch venues. The Don couldn't have been more flexible. We originally estimated 120 people but ended up with 60. They didn't try to make us pay more than we needed to. We struggled to meet our minimum but they gave us options to make it work (like hosting a breakfast and rehearsal dinner). It was perfect. The team there is so professional. I was amazed at how calm our coordinator (Devin) was. I highly highly recommend The Don for your events! -

Nothing Tops The Don Cesar
1-22-21 Perfect is the word that keeps coming to mind. Our guests keep telling us how perfect everything was, my husband and I can’t stop saying how perfect our day and weekend turned out to be. Huge thanks to Nicole, you are the best. One of the nicest people I’ve ever met, we will never forget all you did for us! It was a pleasure working with you, and crossing paths with you on this wedding journey of ours was a true blessing! Nicole and the entire staff at the Don Cesar made sure that our wedding lived up to and beyond all of our expectations. The food, the service, the cake, the views, all perfect. We already had planned a wedding that was canceled due to Covid. This first wedding was at another large wedding destination in Florida. Once we decided to re-plan our wedding, we fell in love with the Don Cesar. I am SO happy things turned out the way that they did and that we ended up here, it was a dream. We were comfortable, we were always accommodated, we felt safe, and at the end of the day- everyone was extremely happy. Whenever we needed something, the staff jumped through hoops to make sure it happened. Every single person we encountered made us feel like we were the most special people on property, and they did that with our guests as well- which leads me to believe that is how they treat all of their hotel guests (wedding or not). We used preferred vendors that they recommended, and let me tell you- we were so pleased! I would not change a thing. The whole experience was incredible. My best advice if you end up getting married at the Don Cesar, don’t overthink or over plan, and let them do what they do best- which is host perfect weddings from start to finish!The Don CeSar's reply:

Superior Customer Service and Elegant Venue
We chose the Elopement package at the Don Cesar and couldn't be more thrilled with our decision! Living out of state, we wanted something that was easy and required little effort, but was nonetheless beautiful and memorable. We achieved both of our goals with this package. Stressless wedding planning
The Don Cesar elopement package worked out perfect for us. Nicole and Heidi both were extremely helpful, any question I had they would respond immediately and took care of pretty much everything for me. They made our reseverations for our room, even made reservations for where we were going to dine after the ceremony. The only thing I had to do was find a dress, clothing for my groom. We also had a sand ceremony and they came to our room, picked up our stuff and had it all put together for us. The most important thing I was concerned about was my dad being able to get to the sand. They made sure he had a wheelchair ready and when he got to the sand, they had a big sand wheelchair for him. It was a perfect day and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Our officiant Rev. Rick was awesome, and he made the ceremony very special for us. Tammy our photographer was wonderful. Amazing day for us, our family and friends
I always wanted a destination wedding so when it came time to pick a venue we found the Don Cesar and fell in love.... It was not only the perfect location for our family and friends to geta away for a nice long weekend (and away from the cold) but the most beautiful location from the arrival to the resort through the sunset of the big day. Everywhere you went was better than where you were and the staff was beyond amanzing! Devin in Events was a true joy to work with and we had so much fun with her - there was no stress that the event and day were not goingto be perfect. And it was. Her team took such good care of us and our guests, it did not go unotices as most of the guests attending, including me, work in hotels and hospitality so may have a higher expectation too and they exceeded in every way. If you want a stress free wedding or event and know that you and your guests will have a great time - this is the place for you! -

The wedding I always dreamed of
Enchanting, breathtaking, amazing...words do not do justice to the whole experience that is The Don Cesar. From the moment The Pink Palace comes into view, day or night, it takes your breath away and it doesn't stop there. We have stayed a quick overnight, a few weekend trips, and we had the pleasure to stay a week, each and every visit the staff went above and beyond to welcome and customize our stays.
Truly deserving of a special mention is the Senior Sales Manager, Beth. She stepped out of her role on so many occasions and made herself available for each and every question I had, no matter how big or small, as I took on the task of planning my own wedding. Honestly I can't even say that I planned it, I really feel like she held my hand and guided me at every step. From catering and ceremony site, to room selections and room blocks, she was there with budget friendly advise and suggestions. There was a small hic-up with one of my outside vendors and Beth stepped into action (again) coming to the rescue to make my perfect wedding vision come together, even throwing in a surprise that she knew I had wanted so much and I had not thought possible.
Also deserving of a mention is the salon and spa. The girls and I were pampered like princess's and I haven't ever felt more beautiful than I did on my day. They worked with me via phone and email working out details, who, what, when, and yes even where. Beverly, from the salon, and I sent photos back and forth of hair and makeup ideas to be sure that her team would be able to achieve the look I wanted; I was tickled when she actually showed up with her team to work on my hair.
The luxury in the rooms, the cleanliness, the fitness room, are all top notch. The shops, the pools, the views, all unparalleled. THE FOOD....I mean wow, Friday night at the Rowe Bar, Saturday afternoon at the pool cafe, a quick treat at the ice-cream shop, and the Sunday buffet...it doesn't matter where you go on site it's all fit for royalty. If you like history be sure to check out the wall of history and the books available in the gift shops you will not be disappointed!!
Every single visit the team has taken guest recognition and satisfaction to the next level, making accommodations and the little (and BIG) extras to make us feel special.

Beautiful wedding at the Don Cesar!
My daughter was married at the Don Cesar on 2/16/19 . Our coordinator at the Don was Heidi Thixton. Heidi was so great to work with. She is professional, calming , detail oriented and super responsive. I knew that everything would be perfect on the big day. The courtyard provided a perfect backdrop for the ceremony and everyone commented on the delicious food served in the North Terrace. The waitstaff was helpful, courteous and professional. Everything flowed smoothly. Just a beautiful venue that is worth the investment!The Don CeSar's reply:

I don't know where to start. The entire experience was AMAZING, from our initial visit with Heidi Thixton to our walk down the aisle only 2.5 months later. We started with 25-30 people and ended up with 65. Heidi accommodated all of my changes and indecision along the way and never flinched. She was incredibly patient and responsive, even the day I sent 10+ emails about the linens :) The hotel itself was spectacular - every single thing you would expect of a luxury hotel and so.much.more. We felt like royalty from the moment we arrived and our guests commented that they knew they were about to be part of something special as they made the walk to the South Terrace. We chose The Don Cesar for the memories-of-a-lifetime that we knew only a venue like this could provide and we were not disappointed. We worked with Kelsey and she was amazing! She was quick to respond to my emails, always answered our questions and helped to ensure planning our wedding reception was an enjoyable process . We chose the South Terrace Ballroom so we had amazing views of the ocean. Most of our family is from up north so they appreciated the breathtaking views our venue provided. The food was beyond our expectations. Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious all the food was even long after the wedding. We were able to take gorgeous photos around the hotel and out on the beach. The grand staircase leading into the courtyard was the perfect location for our sparkler send off. We had an after party at the Rowe Bar that lasted until 3am and our families had a mimosa brunch the next morning at the Sea Porch cafe. The food at all the restaurants in the hotel were unbelievable. Kelsey was fantastic! She was there all morning and most of the night to ensure everything ran smoothly. The service was beyond exceptional! The entire staff at the hotel was friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend the Don CeSar for any event!!!The Don CeSar's reply:

We choose The Don Cesar for our wedding reception in June 2018 and the experience was unbelievable. The event staff could not have been better and they did a fantastic job of making sure everything ran smoothly. I highly recommend using The Don for your next event.
Additionally, our stay at the hotel as a whole was wonderful. All of the food and drinks were exceptional and the staff was kind and very responsive. I highly recommend the Don as a hotel and as an event space.

The Don CeSar was the first place we visited on our venue search, and we immediately fell in love! We got married there in March 2018, and it was all that we could have ever wanted. If you want your wedding to go flawlessly, service to be top notch and your guests to be truly in awe the entire time, book The Don Cesar. The Don Cesar is not the least expensive venue in the area, however, you get what you pay for and this place provides the BEST value for your money. As soon as we arrived, we were immediately treated like family/royalty and we felt as though we were the most VIP guests and the number one priority all weekend. Everyone we encountered from the bellman to the front desk to the pool / restaurant servers to the banquet staff to housekeeping to room service, EVERYONE was so genuinely excited for us and happy to be a part of the biggest day of our lives. I worked with Beth Clark, Senior Catering Sales Manager. She is absolutely wonderful, so knowledgeable, so responsive and above all such a good person. Words cannot express how much we appreciated her spirit and attitude while planning and throughout our day. She was always willing to work with us and for us. We hosted our Rehearsal Dinner (Sea Porch), Welcome Reception (Rowe Bar Pavilion), Wedding Ceremony (Courtyard) and Reception (Grand Ballroom) at the Don. This Hotel offers a wide variety of banquet spaces and food and beverage outlet options, each providing different looks and feels. Because of this, it was a no brainer for us to choose the Don for all events. It was extremely convenient. And we had the confidence of knowing the food, beverage and service would be outstanding for all events! Our guests will not stop raving about the food, it was fantastic!!!! Chef Ricky and his team knocked it out of the park. I could literally go on and on with more details and recommendations because I believe in this venue that much. However, the bottom line is the Don is the reason why our Wedding surpassed our expectations and was better than our wildest dreams. My wedding at the Don was more perfect than I could have ever imagined! Every part of the Don is beautiful, from the building itself to the lobby, the Grand Ballroom, the restaurants, the guest rooms, the courtyard, the pools, and the beach! The entire staff at the Don was wonderful. They were all friendly, helpful, and excited for us! We worked with Beth Clark who was amazing!! She was always quick to respond during the planning process, she was always patient, calm, supportive, and went above and beyond everything we asked! The day of the wedding everyone was extremely calm and excited because we were confident that Beth had everything prepared and under control. We are so glad we had Beth to help us from the weeks leading up to the wedding, to the rehearsal, the wedding day, and farewell brunch. The bartenders, especially Chad are also wonderful. The food prepared by Chef Michael at the wedding was delicious! Our guest all commented on how beautiful the facilities were and how wonderful the staff was. We would not have changed a single thing! Amazing. We were lucky enough to work with the lovely Angela, who was so helpful and accommodating. We were lucky enough to have our ceremony, reception and honeymoon all at the Don, and were constantly blown away by the incredible staff. They really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable, and the event itself was well organized, ran smoothly and had great food! It was the most expensive of the venues we considered, but I feel like we got fabulous value and I wouldn't change a thing. -

The pink palace is the best venue ever. The vintage feel and the beach location cannot be beat. The food WAS THE BEST PART. IT WAS JUST AMAZING. One month later and people are still raving about how amazing the food from the cocktail hour was and how the filet mignon was the best they have ever had. I am such a foodie, so having delicious food at our wedding was the most important thing.
The staff was simply amazing, kudos to Beth Clark and Claudia Gonzalez, they were my angels throughout the whole process. I went through a lot planning this wedding. My father unexpectedly passed away a few months before my big day and I wanted to cancel but I decided to go through with it, the hotel sent me a beautiful card with their sympathy and were so sweet and nice to me.... it was really hard deciding to still have a big party after losing my father, but he was so happy for me, and he loved my fiance, now husband, so this party was also in his honor. My party favors were little black label bottles, which were his favorite drink. The hotel allowed me to bring those in and helped me sooo so much throughout the whole planning.
The hotel offers you an amazing menu tasting so you can decide what to serve on your big day.. ours was amazing, and generous...we also had a separate dessert tasting, all included in the price. I am happy that at least my father was able to be with me for the tasting... he enjoyed it so much... the coconut shrimp, the ahi tuna poke and the peruvian ceviche were his favorite... remembering that day with my father puts a big smile on my face.
Our room was the grand ballroom and we had about 120 guests, which fit PERFECTLY. I would say the spacing was perfect for everyone to walk around, dance, interact and not be cluttered.
I do have to mention that my wedding almost got canceled because of Hurricane Irma but the Don Cesar performed a miracle and I was able to have my dreamed reception. This venue is the BEST-

It was a dream. I can not say enough wonderful things about Lauren Jones and her crew. Lauren and I had smooth and productive relationship right from the start. I called her and said hi, do you think we can pull off a wedding together in 60 days and she said she's done it before in a week :) Lauren Jones is an intelligent amazing soul that is so wonderful to partner with. She is insightful and efficient in her productions. We had our cocktail overlooking the gulf on the veranda and then moved to the Grand Ballroom for a plated reception. The food and settings were spectacular. Our guests are still talking about it. The majority of our guest flew in from out of town and raved about the resort and beach. There is a spectrum of pricing for all budgets. Thank you, Lauren. -

Beautiful location and an amazing staff. Wedding was February 18,2017. This was a holiday weekend so guest rooms a little harder to find and more expensive. But the hotel worked with us. Have the wedding in the courtyard then take photo on the breach. We were fortunate that this was not a busy event weekend so we were able to utilize the Courtyard for the ceremony, the south terrace for the reception and the Grand Ballroom for the dinner. What a way to enjoy this beautiful property. Special thanks to Alexandra, Beth from cheers events, Limelight photography and Jennies flowers for capturing mt son and daughter in laws dreams and making them a reality. Even when the weather threatened to turn and rain out the ceremony. They held out till the very last minute and we were able to stay outside. The food and presentation along with the service was first class. Best Place on the beach for a wedding. THANK YOU!!!!! -

Everything I dreamed!!
This place was spectacular we were married in the Courtyard and had our reception in the Grand Ballroom on 12/30/16 and it was everything I could have hoped and more! Lauren was an amazing consultant that held our hand during the entire planning process she made us feel right at home. I can't say enough about the Don and the staff that work there are so on top of everything. I felt like a celebrity for the whole weekend we were there!! They were so accommodating, professional, and quick to respond to everything we asked. If you want to be treated like royalty on your special day the Don is the place to go! -

I got married at the Don Cesar over a year ago and keep meaning to write this review. It was the most amazing experience! My fiancé, parents, and I went looked all over Florida to find the perfect venue and nothing compared to the Don Cesar. It was perfect! The beautiful beach setting and the vintage beautiful resort were just what we were looking for. Our guests have not stopped raving about the beautiful venue. We had our reception in the grand ballroom and we were very happy with the feel of the room. We were also very happy with how the food turned out on the wedding night. Every single detail was perfect. This is mainly due to the AMAZING Lauren Jones. She helped us from the day we first toured the resort to the day of the wedding. She answered thousands of questions from my family and me and made sure to always help us with whatever we wanted. Lauren is truly the reason why the experience was so great! -

This was the perfect location for our ceremony, reception and entire wedding weekend! We started Friday night with the rehearsal dinner, then had the wedding ceremony in the King Charles Ballroom and the reception in the Grand Ballroom Saturday, and ended it all with a Sunday brunch. Lauren Jones was amazing to work with and coordinated everything with my planner, Jessica Ralph from Parties a la Carte. Everyone at the Don was welcoming and provided the most amazing service to us and our guests. It was worth every penny to have the convenience of everything in 1 location. Many of our guests took advantage of the excellent room rate and stayed there Friday and Saturday. The hotel is so elegant and gorgeous on it's own we didn't need to do much to decorate, but all of our decor looked fantastic in the ceremony and reception rooms.
Our wedding weekend included complimentary valet, a beach bed for a day, and a complimentary wedding suit. Not to mention, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting in our room for us when we arrived and when we checked into the bridal suit. This is such a gorgeous venue and the entire staff did everything to make our weekend wonderful and carefree. We can't wait to go back for our 1 year anniversary! -

Words cannot express how AMAZING my wedding here was. We worked with Laura Grey and she was absolutely the most amazing amazing amazing person to work with. She made my wedding the best day of my life. She handled everything with such kindness grace and poise. I left feeling like the Don was my home. Everyone treated my family like their own family and it warmed my heart. At one point a sentimental item was misplaced and Laura personally searched high and low until it was found. We got married at the Lowes Don CeSar two weeks ago and had the most amazing weekend of our lives! The hotel was so accommodating to everyone in our block. The rooms were beautiful, the staff was so friendly and helpful, and the hotel is just amazing! We worked with Lauren Jones, who was absolutely fantastic, coordinating with me, my mom, the groom, and the grooms mom!! Lauren made everything go so smoothly and took such great care of us, we really enjoyed the planning process and all our events- a welcome party at the pool, the cocktail hour, and reception were all fabulous. All our guests from out of town had the most amazing beach weekend, and so many of our in-town guests chose to stay and can't wait to go back for mini-vacations. The Don was perfect! From the moment we first inquired about holding the wedding there until the very end of the wedding weekend, every member of the Don was fantastic. Lauren was helpful in guiding us along the way and answering our many questions. The hotel and all its room for the wedding were gorgeous and provided a perfect backdrop for our special day. The food was delicious too, with not a single complaint from any guest. I wouldn't change a thing about our wedding here and would recommend the Don to anyone. I can only say perfect so many times but that describes our entire experience with the Don. -

Not many people can say they got married at the most gorgeous hotel in Florida, and it feels like a dream that I can say yes, "I got married at the Don Cesar!". It was the most incredible day and night of my life. Quinn was a fabulous coordinator with the hotel and ensured that everything ran smooth as silk. The outdoor ceremony was perfect. I was a little worried at first that it wouldn't be so private because it is in a courtyard close to their pool, but that wasn't an issue at all. The reception room was also perfect for our small guest size of 80. We had our own balcony with a view of the amazing ocean, which my family and friends really enjoyed. It was a day I'll never forget and the beautifully pink Don Cesar will always have a special place in my heart. -

Where do I even begin? The Don Cesar has been my favorite Florida landmark since I was a little girl. It was the only option for our wedding. Two weeks after we got engaged, my husband and I set up a meeting with Lauren Jones, THE most wonderful wedding coordinator in the world. The entire wedding experience with the hotel was first class from that meeting, through the wedding day itself...and even now, almost 2 months past. (It's why The Don Cesar just won "Best Hotel" AND "Best Wedding Venue", AGAIN!) My husband and I wouldn't change ANYTHING. The hotel is obviously beautiful. But, it was Lauren and the entire staff that made our wedding day so special. They are easy to communicate with, professional, honest, caring, flexible and eager to accommodate their couples and guests. Even though the hotel has as many weddings as it does each week, we truly were made to feel as though ours was the only one. The food was incredible, the ceremony was picture perfect, and the reception was unforgettable. Every last detail was perfectly executed beyond our wildest dreams. And, on a monetary note, I honestly expected a mind boggling price tag to book The Don Cesar as our wedding venue. IT WASN'T! It was more than reasonable with everything that was included. We loved every minute of our wedding experience with The Don, start to finish. You truly can't go wrong!!! -

Everything was perfect. Every email and phone call was responded to in a prompt manner. Everything was planned with less than two months because my venue went out of business. Heather did an amazing job! I felt like a princess on my wedding day and on the months leading up to my wedding! Heather and the team really make you feel special from the moment you step into the Don. The wedding went without a hitch thanks to Heather I did not need to lift a finger! It all ran so smoothy! And can I say BEAUTIFUL?? the Don is AMAZING! I took so many pictures in this historic hotel! Perfect for my Emerald, gold, and blush wedding! And let me not forget the food! We had our wedding reception at the Don a few weeks ago and it was amazing! Every aspect of the weekend was perfect. We had several of our guests, some of which were staying at the Don and some of which were staying at their sister hotel, comment on how helpful and accommodating the staff were. They also said that all the food they had at the restaurants, during the cocktail hour, reception dinner and the late night appetizers we had at the reception were delicious! Several of them also said they would definitely be going back to stay and said it's the best wedding they have ever been to. This wouldn't have been the case if we didn't have our reception at the Don.
Lauren Jones was our Event Coordinator and Beth Clarke was our Day Of Coordinator and they were absolutely great! We did something that hadn't been done before with changing rooms throughout the reception and Lauren, Beth and the staff pulled it off amazingly. They took care of any and every request that was made. It was everything and more than we could have hoped for! -

I had my wedding in the court yard and reception at the sunset pavilion in October 2014. We decided to do a Sunday wedding at The Don, while still expensive, they worked with us a lot on pricing. Andrea was our coordinator. I can't say enough great things about her. She is so sweet, informative but not pushy. She really is the sweetest thing and was so responsive to all my questions as I planned the wedding over a 10 month time period. I really liked her as a person but she was also so informative and professional. I unfortunately had a horrible tragedy happen the day before my wedding. My cousin, who was in the wedding, fell from the porch of the condo he was staying at and passed away. We decided to still have the wedding but needless to say a few people didn't come and we had to make a lot of last minute adjustments and I was just really a mess. Experiencing the full spectrum of human emotion in a 48 hour period was overwhelming. Trying to celebrate while grieving - it is not at all what any family is prepared for. The entire staff at the Don was so supportive and really worked with us on all the changes that needed to be made and they were beyond accommodating. Despite the circumstances everyone who was not directly related to my cousin who passed had a great time. I have come to realize that in terrible situations people can really show their true colors and everyone at the Don was as sweet as can be. Contractually they had all the right in the world to not let me change anything but they really had a heart and felt for my situation and tried to make the best of it. I feel certain that this won't happen to other brides out there reading this review however I think it is good to know that Andrea and her team really didn't look at me as just another wedding. They really cared about us and wanted us to be as happy as possible. -

I can not say enough about this venue! If you are wanting a wedding that exceeds all your expectations along with an exquisite staff and location, choose The Don CeSar Hotel! I worked with Alexandra Settlemyer and Beth Clark. Both of these women were such a pleasure to work with. Everything ran smoothly and they on top of every detail to make sure your day is perfect. They are what you call a dream team for your wedding day.
The food at the reception was amazing! My guest are still raving about it!!

My wedding was destination at the Don Cesar, all 50 guests stayed and enjoyed themselves from Thursday to Sunday at the Don Cesar. It was a perfect location, perfect venue, and everyone there was incredible. Every guest was sad to leave on Sunday. -

The Don Cesar is just beautiful! It is such a beautiful hotel that it made our guests feel like our daughters wedding was a fairy tale!!! Lauren Jpnes worked with us for over a year & was awesome!!! Even with a last minute ceremony change due to weather, she worked with our planner & the transitioned our guests inside without any issues whatsoever! The wedding was just beautiful. & it was exactly what our daughter imagined & more!!! Lauren & her team know how to not only make the bride. & groom feel like royalty but their families. & guests too! While the Don Cesar is more expensive than some other venues, with enough planning, it is totally something that was worth waiting. & saving for! We had guests tell us it was like a "Dreamy Fairy Tale!!!" Before you pick a venue , you should at least go see the Don Cesar !!! -

Everything about this venue was perfect. The catering manager that we worked with was Heather Satterfield and she did an amazing job. It is a beautiful hotel, the vendors that they recommend (you can also find others, which I did for some) were all great, and the food was amazing! We had our cake made through them as well by Chef Tara Bishop and she made a delicious cake that was identical to the "inspiration picture" I had sent her. Heather went above and beyond always promptly responding to emails, and keeping things organized during the wedding, she even came up to my hotel room to get 20+ gift bags that I need down at our rehearsal dinner. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone, while it comes at a high cost you are getting even higher quality. -

Courtney, the events director at the Don was absolutely AMAZING! She was the "no problem we can handle that" woman. She showed flexibility, professionalism, and availability. The Don Cesar is a beautiful venue but it is somewhat pricey. However, Courtney's services provided "value added" at the Don and made having my daughter's wedding not only beautiful but an real pleasure. It was well worth every penny paid. -

We had our wedding at the Don in June 2013, it was absolutely amazing and i'm not being biased because it was my wedding. Our coordinator at the hotel was Lauren Jones and we also opted to have Beth Clark as a day of coordinator, both did a phenomenal job. We originally were supposed to have the ceremony on the beach but with unpredictable weather... hello it's Florida and kind of expected, we had the ceremony in the King Charles Ballroom (great back up option). The ballroom was absolutely perfect! Lauren and Beth performed miracles with the ballroom, I can't believe how great it looked with only hours to decorate since it was our back up.
After the ceremony we had cocktail hour in the hallway outside of the Grand Ballroom. The reception was held in the Grand Ballroom holding 210 of our guests. The layout of the ballroom is unique with the 2 levels which allows plenty of space on the original hardwood dance floor. Also in front of the dance floor is a stage for the band/DJ, such a great layout.
We served a dinner buffet. The food was the best I have had at a wedding, the guests thought the same. We have had a ton of compliments on the food, not only the dinner but the cake was delicious too which was made by Chef Tara at the Don.
We had a great wedding, the Don is beautiful by itself but what really makes it special is the staff they have there. One of many reasons we chose the Don was the welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
The Don exudes impecable service. Lauren and Beth allowed for our wedding to be stress free! I know that sounds crazy a stress free wedding but it's true they worked with us in every way from customizing menus to coordinating our after reception party in a bar down stairs by the pool/beach. From Lauren and Beth to the hotel staff all of our guests were thoroughly impressed.

Courtney Blount and Beth Clark are fantastic ladies! They made the planning of our wedding so easy and stress free, it was absolutely amazing. Both Courtney and Beth are quick to respond to emails, questions, phone calls, anything--which made it so wonderful as the event got closer and we had questions about details or payments. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! The guests are still talking about how wonderful and fresh everything tasted! Courtney and Beth walked us through the table design, food choices and even accommodated our need for vegetarian dishes, late night snacks and special drink requests. Beth and her team are so detail oriented that nothing was missed and the ceremony space and reception hall were gorgeous! The tables were dripping in crystals and the room was lit with a turquoise/tiffany blue light that made the room look stunning. I highly recommend hiring Beth as the day of coordinator because she made sure everything was in place, everyone was where they were supposed to be, the vendors were set up and ready--taking any stress away from the bride on her special day so she could focus on getting ready :) Courtney and Beth make a wonderful team and truly make you feel as if you are the only couple they are taking care of--their one on one and personal attention is something that is hard to come by these days!
Tara Bishop is an amazing Pastry Chef! Our wedding cake and Groomsmen cake were both delicious, guests could not stop talking about how rich and moist the cakes were! Our wedding cake was a few different design ideas that we asked her to combine into one unique cake and she surpassed our expectations! From the personal touches we asked her to add in the form of hidden mickey and minnie's to the overall structure it was breathtaking. I couldn't have dreamed up a more beautiful and perfect cake that represented us :) She is AWESOME!! -

On Nov. 8, 2013 we held our wedding at the Loews Don Cesar. I had 90 guest from out of town fly in and we had the most perfect wedding ever. We had an amazing wedding on the beach at the Don CeSar! Our wedding coordinator, Andrea, was so nice, polite, professional and responsive to us throughout the entire process. The hotel is absolutely beautiful - 5 star all the way - the guests loved the service they received, the rooms are bright, modern and clean. We had a very small wedding with family only (15 people) - purchased their "Intimate Wedding Package" which includes the ceremony set up on the beach, wedding coordinator, and money credited towards your flowers, food & beverage at the reception and the hotel spa! But they can also accommodate a huge wedding - they have several banquet rooms and even outdoor reception options. Would definitely recommend it anyone!!!! -

My husband and I worked with Lauren Jones for the wedding day and the months before the wedding day. She was so helpful with making sure everything went smoothly! She responded to our phone calls in a timely matter and worked with our wedding planner to make sure they were on the same page at all times. As for the hotel, it was the perfect place for our ceremony and reception. The ceremony took place on the south beach.They made sure the beach chairs and umbrellas were out of the way of the pictures. Our reception was on the south terrace and held all 65 of our guests comfortably. The bridal suite that I stayed in was beautiful. We paid a little extra to have a gulf facing room and it was definitely worth it. There was enough room for my two flower girls and 7 of my friends to get our hair and makeup done. -

The Don Cesar was an amazing venue to have our wedding this month! Our sunset beach wedding was absolutely phenomenal and having the pink castle in the background was a dream come true for the both of us! Lauren Jones was phenomenal in helping us plan and deal with all the logistics of the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception which were all held on site. Having lived in the Tampa area my entire life, I didn't want a traditional wedding at a hotel, but we ended up choosing the Don Cesar and it could not have been a better choice. Lauren was our wedding contact and she was fabulous. Everything from the service, to the food, to the accommodations was just perfect. We had a lot of out of town guests, including many Canadians, and everyone just loved the weekend. Every employee was kind and helpful. We had our ceremony on the beach, cocktail hour on the South Terrace, and reception in the South Terrace ballroom, it was just perfect. We really didn't want that big hotel feel, and at the Don we were able to maintain an intimate fun beach atmosphere. It was just perfect. We would strongly recommend the Don to any couple! -
