If you are searching for a spectacular beach wedding, then the Westin Diplomat is the right place. Terry Longo, Catering Manager and Coordinator is extremely professional and most impressively she makes an honest effort to work and stay within your budget.

I am an Event Coordinator and had the pleasure of working with Terry Longo. I was more than impress on how organized she and the hotel staff were. They were all hands on from begining to end of the event... always with a smile and a solution to every or any situation.

I congratulate the Westin Diplomat for having such great staff, that after all stand behind their name.

Looking forward to more happy events at the Diplomat and hopefully with Terry and Ramon.

I just got married at The Diplomat Country Club and I could not have been happier. The venue was beautiful and exactly the way I pictured it with the elegant and romantic theme filling the air. The staff was really nice and the hotel coordinator could not have been more helpful. We got compliments from our guests all night regarding the food and ambiance. It was definitely a night and environment to remember! It was costly, but worth every bit of it!

Great Food, Great Hotel rooms for my out of town guests, a little pricey on the F&B

As a wedding planner, I work in many venues. I have worked at The Westin Diplomat numerous times and it is on the top of my list for many reasons. The resort is beautiful, and the food and service is impeccable. My last wedding there was with Terry Longo as the Catering Manager, and it was perfect down to the last detail. My bride and her family were thrilled and the whole wedding exceded their expectations.
If you are looking for a wedding venue, be sure and call the team and check out the Westin Diplomat or the Westin Diplomat Golf Resort.

We had our wedding at the beautiful country club. I visited at least 10 venues and what I found in some of them were rude coordinators who take their jobs for granted. At the westin diplomat country club, I worked with Ossy Lopez, who is a sweetheart and really cares about the bride and the wedding. Overall, the staff was were friendly, the food really good, everything was good and I will definitely recommend to the brides out there, please do not look only for the beautiful venue but for the perfect service and attention as well.

Very professional, know and think of all the little details. The coordinator Terry really cared and paid attention to all the details as if it was her own wedding!!!!

Great Hotel, Food was excellent!

The Westin Diplomat speaks for itself with its setting and truly stunning location. This review is more focused on the remarkably helpful, professional, detail-oriented, friendly staff you will find there. Malely Cowan was remarkable in her job - one tiny example out of hundreds: the day of the wedding, she personally arrived to my bridal suite to take care of last minute details we'd forgotten. She and Carolyn Horton were so responsive in their emails, easy to work with, and helpful that I'd felt like they were friends by the end of the process. The Diplomat gave me the wedding of my dreams, and even though it's somewhat pricier than a few other options, it really is worth every cent and then some. Plus, they worked with me to make it all fit in the budget I was aiming for. I would absolutely recommend working with them -- from Day 1, they have been there every step of the way. In terms of facilities: yes, the Westin is gorgeous. :) The food was spectacular, I am STILL hearing compliments (nonstop this past week), and the decor/ambience cannot be topped. Thanks, Malely, Carolyn, and the Diplomat, for the wedding of my dreams. Excellent!

The staff and the wedding coordinator at the Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa were absolutely wonderful. From the day I entered the hotel , it was like entering a spa. The great aroma that loafs through the air, the high ceilings with natural light streaming in, the lavish fountain in the lobby, and even the front door courtesy of the hotel staff is impressive. I knew my guests would love the location as much as I did. The wedding coordinator pretty much held my hand and guided me through every step of the wedding planning with patience, ease, and insightfulness. At times when I didn't know what I wanted, she would customize and organize things in such a way that it made it easier to make a decision. I can truly say she is an expert at what she does. We visited the hotel on a few occasions before the wedding and the staff was always warm and friendly. I can compare it to Disneyland in the sense of awe every time you entered and encountered the staff. On the day of the wedding, the wedding coordinator helped make it the most memorable day of our lives from her organization and dedication to our specifications. I can truly say that I don't think my wedding would have been any more beautiful if it were somewhere else. It has been one month since our wedding and I am still getting compliments about how beautiful everything was and went on the day- and I love it!! I am in awe of the fantastic service they provide. I would recommend the Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa to future couples looking for a venue for their wedding. It will leave a lasting impression on their minds as it did ours.

I had such a great experience from beginning to end with the Westin Diplomat. I had gone to so many places and nowehere else compared to the Westin. You get such a beautiful resort , great food and the best service. Terry Longo was amazing!!!! Anytime I had a question or a problem she answered and solved them. She was so pleasant to deal with. Planning a wedding can be very stressfull time and she helped relieve alot of that stress because I knew she would take care of everything and make sure what I wanted for my wedding would be done to the best of it ability. She was on top of everything. She had great recomendations and Ideas when I needed them. The most important thing is to feel comfortable and trust who you are working with because it just makes you feel so much more relieved and calm. All my guests were amazed at the service and the Food! I come from a Big Italian family and food is very important! Everyone is still talking about the service and food. I will continue to recommend the Westin Diplomat as well as Terry Longo because there is no question on there service and professionalism, it was outstanding! Everytime I look back on my special day I will always be filled with so many amazing memories and couldn't have asked for a better wedding!

We loved the Westin Diplomat. This hotel is absolutely beautiful. They put us in a wrap around suite with a view of the beach and the intracoastal. The wedding was beautiful. The wonderful view and the people at the hotel made a great weekend for us. The food was great. I would definetly recommend them.

I was elated to have our ceremony and reception at the Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa. The hotel is extraordinarily beautiful and the minute you enter, you feel as though you are entering a retreat. The wedding coordinator and all of the staff were helpful and professional. They eased us through the day with comfort and grace. I cannot thank them for the awesome service they provided. I would recommend this venue to anyone having a wedding in the South Florida location.

We had our wedding at the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood , Fl. The venue , food and atmosphere was wonderful. I had Malely Cowan as our banquet coordinator, she was WONDERFUL. Always, responsive, pleasant, and on the ball about everything. She made everything absolutely wonderful this day. My husband and I are not from florida, and we thought she made everything so easy and wonderful, I cannot give her enough praises. Everyone loved our venue and we are so happy with everything at the Westin. We also had a lovely cake and met with the pastry chef who did a fantastic job with the decor.

I rented Chiavari Chairs for my wedding reception which were very reasonable in price and they were gorgeous. I got married there so I doubt you can rent them if you are not getting married there but if you are getting married at the Westin Diplomat Hotel or the Diplomat Country club I highly recommend renting the chiavari chairs. They were $4 each.

I got married at the Westin Diplomat on May 26, 2012. The venue is absolutely stunning. The only reason I didn't give the venue all 5 is because frankly it is expensive to have an event here. If you do plan a wedding there do insist on having Carolyn Horton as you event coordinator. SHE WAS AMAZING!!! Always pleasant, professional and accessible. I certainly credit her for making my event as magical as it was.

I had my son's wedding at the Diplomat Golf Resort on Oct 12, 2013. It was an absolutely gorgeous venue to hold the wedding at. My Event Director Samantha was amazing and gave me everything I could ever ask for and more. The Ceremony was held on an breathtaking outdoor terrace with the sun setting behind the children as they were married.

The cocktails and Hor derves were delicious and plentiful, the reception ballroom was so beautiful it barely needed extra decoration and the food is the talk of the town still (one week after) . A perfect affair, I'm so trilled. Thank you! Ask for Samantha she was the best!

I worked with Terry Longo, she is fantastic! very involved, extremely helpful and there for you. She was my "wedding planner", totally handled any issues (and trust me we had a florist debacle) with professionalism and made sure we had a wonderful experience. Everything turned out beautiful, i was extremely happy with the westin diplomat for my wedding venue. My guests loved it, they thought it was beautiful. On our honeymoon suite, we even had a note and a gift from Terry w/ a bottle of champagnet and chocolate covered strawberries waiting. Talk about attention to detail, it was amazing!

Beautiful Venue, Professional responsive Team, Delicious food - our ceremony was on North Palm Terrace and the reception was at the Hollywood Prime. Everyone was helpful and flexible. What a great experience.
The only thing was,They did not have a complementary room for us and the rates for our block of rooms were not discounted. Their Presentation services forgot to set up AV at the hollywood prime. Other than that everything went well and was beautiful.

I have to say that I had a hard time reviewing the westin because leading up to the wedding I had such a hard time dealing with them it seemed like everything was a problem and I was always checking my contract to see if I was getting what I paid for. But the location I chose the golf resort was so beautiful and not so popular that everyone had been to a dozen weddings there plus I had signed the contract so we went ahead. And I have to say that on the day of they were truly wonderful they made sure every detail was right and so nice to me and my guest that I felt like all the struggle was worth it. They completely redeemed themselves!!
