We had such a beautiful, fun, and memorable wedding day at the Davenport Mansion. Here are some of the highlights and why we recommend celebrating your special day here hands down.

The Venue - It's unique and unheard of to have an entire space just for you and your guests on your wedding day. The mansion was decorated for the holidays and it was like a dream. There were wreaths, garlands, and florals everywhere. There are real fire places too! It's so charming and cozy, but also spacious enough for everyone to feel comfortable. The library room is enchanting. The views from the bar and ballroom are incredible. The ballroom is breathtaking. When we first saw the ballroom we were in love with the floors. So beautiful! We had 12 tables and 125 guests and the layout was well done. There were no bad seats in the house. We could see everyone and easily move around to say hi. The bridal suite is the perfect place to get ready. The lighting is perfect for getting ready photos. And of course the staircase from the second floor to the first is also a great place for photos. The beach view is gorgeous and even for a December wedding it was a lovely addition for photos. Atmosphere 11/10

Food - Our cocktail hour was sick! We had multiple tasty cultural stations, including Asian and Italian, a craft beer pairing station, fresh mozzarella making station, and seafood. The entrees were delicious. There was something for everyone. Everyone could not stop raving about the food. Even as the bride and groom we made sure to try it all. Food was important to us and we were over the moon with everything. Super impressed and happy (and full). Food- Again 11/10

Staff and Service - Our day would not have been as wonderful if not for the staff. Special thanks to Guy and Carmine for keeping us and our families at ease. We had nothing to worry about. Guy is a pro and was always 5 steps ahead. Nobody had to wait for a drink at the bar and nobody was hungry. 11/10
We knew early on we made the right choice for our special day. It was a no-brainer to have our wedding here at the Davenport Mansion. This venue checks off all the boxes. We had a beautiful, fun, and delicious wedding. We will always remember this day so fondly. Thank you so much!

The Davenport Mansion is set right off Long Island sound. The Mansion is beautiful, and the view is amazing. But the true value of the Davenport Mansion is its manager, Guy DeMeo. Guy is "the Man". When you talk to Guy it does not feel like you are talking business. He makes you feel like you are talking to a longtime friend. He is very accommodating; he will work with you to make your wedding a success and stress free: wherever possible. The staff is amazing, the Matre'd is on point. From the biggest to the smallest detail, he's on it. The Bartender, the waiters are exceptional. They know their jobs and do them well. I could go on! But I'll conclude with I HIGHLY recommend The Davenport Mansion.

Wow! Amazing venue! We had a small gathering of less than 50 people due to Covid guidelines. The owner, site manager, and staff were super accommodating and took the necessary precautions to keep the guests safe. We had access to the indoor and outdoor space for our small event and it was more than enough to social distance while also having a good time. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. They had multiple hand sanitizing stations set up. We provided custom-made masks and individual hand sanitizers to the guests which made the event more memorable. The tables were spaced apart more than 6 feet. The setting was beautiful for all the special family moments and candid shots taken. I was very pleased with how amazing the event was handled by the owner, Guy, the site manager, Zitta, and their amazing staff.

The Perfect Day!! Guy, Jenny and the entire Davenport team made all of our wedding dreams come true. We worked with Guy to craft our menu and plan our perfect day. Jenny and Anton executed everything flawlessly! The food was delicious, all of our guests were raving. Anything we needed, the Davenport team was on it. If your looking to have the best day ever, Davenport Mansion is the place for you!

Guy the owner was amazing from day 1. If you are thinking of a gorgeous water view for your wedding with spectacular food and service this is the spot! Book with them you won't regret it! Thank you to guy and everyone at the venue for helping me and showing us how much you truly cared in making my day perfect. We knew going in that the venue and views of the Long Island Sound were beautiful. What we didn’t know was that Guy would become our wedding planning partner - the person keeping us sane during two years of planning and then replanning our wedding.

Guy's expertise in the industry is unmatched - he listened to our requests, enhanced our wedding vision, and brought it to life. He always made himself available for questions throughout our planning process (whether directly or tangentially related to the venue) and would provide us with options and recommendations, guiding us toward a smooth, stress free wedding weekend. It is clear that Guy’s top priority is his clients and their happiness - even in the midst of a pandemic.

We had our wedding at Davenport Mansion on August 9, 2020 and it was a dream come true. It was everything that I wanted my wedding to be, it was perfect. Upon the arrival of our guests, they were amazed by the great scenery and the relaxing atmosphere.
A grand shout out to Guy!!!! Guy was super supportive, from the moment we booked our date to the final hour of our wedding.
I was a little nervous before the ceremony, but was immediately put at ease once I saw Guy, as I knew we were in great hands. He guided the event step-by-step and he never missed a beat. Guy was exceptional and overall a great presence, making sure things were going above our expectations. Shout out to Zitta, thanks for all your help. Also, a huge shout out to Patrick, our bridal attendant. Thanks for making the ladies feel at ease and comfortable.

The food was absolutely fantastic. Our guests are still raving about our cocktail hour and the reception saying how absolutely great the food was. I highly recommend this venue, guaranteed you will have a great time, great food and gorgeous views overlooking the water. Huge place for great social distancing. The ceremony was held outside on the terrace. The cocktail bar is adjacent to the terrace for cocktail hour. A HUGE ballroom to have your reception in, including a gorgeous presidential lounge.

Our family and friends thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful setting, delicious food and the great service from the Davenport Mansion team.

I just had my bridal shower brunch here and it was beyond my dreams. The elegance of the venue speaks for itself with the view of the water, the fire places and the ballroom. Everything was fantastic from the food, to the service and atmosphere. We received nothing but compliments from our guests about the venue and food. The staff made sure everything ran smoothly. It was a day I will never forget!

The Davenport stood out with their fantastic service from our first visit. It's a beautiful historic venue with incredible views, but we also received such personalized attention from Guy, Al and the entire staff. They were particularly attentive to allergies and dietary restrictions - a very important factor for our guests - and we received many comments from guests about how they felt taken care of throughout the evening. The food was abundant and delicious! We loved the menu options, especially for cocktail hour and the ice cream bar was a bit hit. We would recommend The Davenport to anyone without hesitation!

We had a fantastic wedding at Davenport in late March. Guy, Al, Jenny, David and the entire staff were great to work with throughout the process. Especially the week of, when there are so many last minute details, Al was always responsive and always had an answer for everything we threw at him. On the day of, they kept us on schedule and worked closely with all of our vendors to make sure everyone was in synch.

On October 6, 2018 we celebrated the marriage of our daughter and son-in-law at Davenport Mansion on the Sound. The venue, food, service and location was everything we hoped for and more.
We began searching for wedding venues on Long Island where we live but the bride and groom wanted something unique and luckily found the Davenport Mansion listed on the Knot. It seemed to meet all their wishes; and since the couple live out of state we made an appointment with Michael to see the venue.
Upon our first visit, we immediately fell in love with the Davenport’s charm and waterfront location. We knew this elegant restored mansion, with its beautiful patio overlooking the Long Island Sound would make an exquisite backdrop for the outdoor ceremony. We also loved the elegant ballroom to host dinner, and dance the night away.
Michael and Guy guided us throughout the year advising, recommending, and assuring us our daughter’s wedding would be memorable. Boy, were they right! They were low pressure and completely understanding of what our needs were. Their attention to detail from the display of food served during cocktail hour through dinner and dessert was unsurpassable. From delicious sushi and fresh mozzarella (you have to check out the Mozzarella Man), delicious dinner choices, to delectable deserts, our guests all raved about the outstanding and plentiful food and drinks from beginning to end.
Since they only have one wedding a day, almost unheard of in the catering business, they allow the bridal party use of the venue to get ready and take photos all day. They also provided a feast to the bridal party while getting ready for the big event!
We cannot recommend the Davenport Mansion enough! Our sincere thank you to Michael and Guy for helping our children have the wedding of their dreams.

I would like to say my daughter’s wedding at the Davenport Mansion was phenomenal! Guy and Mike were a pleasure to work with and always approachable. My daughter knew this was the right place as soon as she walked in the door. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate but with the large picture windows in the ballroom with the water views of the sound, it didn’t matter. The mansion is beautifully decorated, has multiple fireplaces and a larger fireplace in wood paneled library room which we used for her First Look photos. Our Matre D, Albert, was always on top of things making sure everything went smoothly. The Bridal Attendant, Brandan, was fabulous!! Anticipating our every need! All the staff was pleasant, professional and ready to assist. Can I talk about the food for a minute!! The BEST!!! Everything was delicious and beautifully presented, not to mention there was plenty of it! They promised the wedding of her dreams and they did not disappoint. Thank you!!!

I had THE BEST wedding ever this past weekend. So many guests approached me and told me that this is the best wedding they've ever been to. From the start Guy and Mike have helped me along this crazy journey called wedding planning. It was a dream come true and it went by seamlessly. They were super accommodating. The food was AMAZING and there was so much of it. Get married at The Davenport you won't be sorry!

My husband and I had our wedding here at Davenport on April 22, 2018. I was searching everywhere for a homey- like venue and immediately found it when I came here. The mansion is on beautiful grounds. The rooms allowed me to add my own personal touches as if it were my own house. Guy, Michael and the team are so nice and extremely accommodating. My husband and I wanted to incorporate our cultures all in one and we were able to do that with Michael, the chef. The Puerto Rican, Korean and Italian food were delicious. They work with the best bakeries so your cake will taste amazing! The place is your own for the day so I was able to come early with my bridal party and get ready. We choose to have the ceremony inside due to the chill, but you can have it on their beach, in the front yard, on the porch or in the mansion. And the beach allows for beautiful pictures!They provided breakfast and lunch for us and helped us with anything we needed. And not to mention, they are very affordable! My guests still continue to rave about the food and the scenery. My only wish is that we can back to enjoy someone else's wedding here. Thank you Davenport for making our wedding so amazing!!

I just want to thank Guy and his team for the professionalism, and hard work that you put into making me have the perfect wedding day. Anywhere from the use of the LED lights, to the vases that were so generously offered, and the access to the beach for the pictures made us feel like for the day Davenport was our home away from home. My guest, and I were so impressed and I would highly recommend Davenport to anyone looking for a venue for a wedding, or any event! We just want to say Thank You for sharing your home!

There is only one word to describe my daughter's wedding held here...PERFECT! The food was delicious and Joe Rossi and his staff were the epitome of professionalism. He made sure everything ran smoothly. I cannot thank him enough for making her day memorable.

I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue for my wedding day! Joe, his wife, and staff were truly amazing and did more than I could have ever hoped for to ensure my wedding was perfect! the venue looked beautiful and they set everything up just how I wanted it! I was hoping it would be a nice day so that we could get married at the Gazebo which we did! it was so beautiful and everyone raved about how wonderful my venue was. I knew I didn't want a wedding factory for my venue which is what I loved about Davenport. The whole place was only for me and my guests which made it that much more intimate! Food is also extrememly important and the food was AMAZING! everyone (and i mean everyone) said how great the food was!! everything came out hot, delicious and was just super tasty! our meals were even terrific!!! It was honestly the best meal i've ever had at a wedding and i'm not just saying that because I got married there! plenty of my family members said the same thing and they all kept talking about the food!! Thank you again for all that you did for Eddie and I. He was super happy and loved every minute of our wedding thanks to all your hard work. I'm sad that the day is over but next time I have a special occasion I want to make sure it's held at the davenport!!! everything was WONDERFUL and PERFECT!!! thank you so much again!!

So it's been 2 and a half weeks since the wedding... and to date I have received no less then 12 written thank you from guest thanking me for allowing them to come to our wedding. I receive about 20 phone messages relaying thanks and a large part of it was a result of the Davenport. I'll admitted it all seemed to go to be true - from the price, to the location, to the food, to the general warmth conveyed by the both Jr and Sr. Rossi. I was never worried or stressed about this aspect of my planning once we happened upon the Davenport. I went to the others on the "strip" there and they were cold by comparison - the Greentree was downright rude. Have you wedding here and you'll not be disappointed and neither will your guests.

I got married on April 14th 2012 at the Davenport Club and all I can say is amazing. Its a beautiful mansion on the water in New Rochelle and makes you feel like you are in the classiest most elegant place in the world. I cant say enough good things about Joseph Rossi Sr, the man is about the most wonderful generous classiest person you will ever meet in your life. You can see that he loves what he does and his only concern is that you as the bride and groom are happy and having fun. His son Joe Rossi JR was also very knowledgeable and helpful making sure all needs were met. The staff, food and atmosphere are top notch. My day would not be what it was without this reception hall. They make you feel like family. Please look no forward than the Davenport Club. I Loved it so much and all my guests could not stop raving!!! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Spectacular

The place is beautiful right off the water, with a gazebo outside where we said our vows. They were very helpful in setting up exactly what we wanted and allowing us to take pictures on their beach. The price was great and the food was good too. It has the perfect ambience for the type of wedding we wanted. It's a mansion and we had the whole place to ourselves. It was spacious but yet cozy. We had only 80 people and it filled the main room comfortably. They have fireplaces going in each room and people can spread out if they wanted. We loved it!
