    The perfect wedding venue!

    From the first time I walked in the Claridge, I knew it was the right choice. The grand ballroom is incredibly beautiful, and the staff was so helpful and accommodating. Jeff was there at every step of the process to guide us and Colleen's attention to detail is divine. Lynn was a dream the day of the wedding and always made sure we had what we needed to make our day the best it could be. I could not recommend the Claridge more, especially as someone with family ties to Atlantic City.

    Perfect Day

    We absolutely loved the look and feel of the claridge its a historic hotel and really gives a 20s vibe that we loved. The food was excellent and the day was absolutely perfect. The photos turned out amazing and they have a beautiful staircase that made for perfect photos.

    They also have a rooftop bar (part indoors with a wrap around balcony that’s outside) that is absolutely amazing and perfect for the after party. Jerry the bartender went above and beyond.

    As far as downsides go they were just a few. I’d read reviews about the elevators being slow but it was a big problem at the end of the reception trying to get to the after party
    Also, the groomsmen were sent to set stuff up last minute so I wouldn’t be seen and they left a big rainbow reusable shoprite bag out in front of our guest book table - very visible for the entrances to our ceremony and then as we were leaving I said “can someone move that bag under a table” and it was still there at the entrances to the reception (in the same room). They had a coordinator around and I just felt someone could have moved it lol, but I’m probably being dramatic.
    Otherwise they were very accommodating, very affordable and it’s just a beautiful venue overall and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

    The Claridge Hotel is Exceptional!

    The Claridge Hotel was the perfect venue to celebrate my wedding! The Claridge is elegant and full of charm. The staff at the Claridge went above and beyond! Jeff did a remarkable job! He was very helpful, accommodating, and was communicative, answering every question I had promptly. He was there for me every step of the way from the tour of the Claridge to my wedding day. Lance, the banquet manager, was phenomenal! He worked tirelessly the day of my wedding, ensuring that everything was in place and ran smoothly. He was so kind in helping me envision and bring about the wedding reception of my dreams, and also kept me organized by helping me create a timeline for the day of my wedding. Curtis did a fantastic job handling guest room bookings! He stayed in communication with me until the day of my wedding, accommodating requests with ease.
    The bridal assistant was amazing! She constantly checked on me and my husband and brought us whatever we needed. The waitstaff and bartenders at the Claridge provided outstanding service. It made me so happy to hear from so many of our wedding guests that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever attended. I am forever grateful for the memorable experience, it was truly the best day of my life!

    A dream!

    Our wedding was a dream come true! From our rehearsal dinner at the Claridge to our post-nuptial brunch at the Vüe Rooftop bar, everything was spectacular. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were unreal — our guests can’t stop talking about it! Lance, Jeff, Aspasia, and Chef Craig went above and beyond making sure every little detail was immaculate. We had the best bartender in the world (Jerry) with us all night, and we also owe a special thanks to Jean and Curtis with all of their help with room blocks, upgrades, and more. We wouldn’t change a single thing about having our wedding at The Claridge…it truly was magical!

    Each staff member was over the top helpful. They made the best day of my life absolutely perfect. Jeff, Curtis, Lance, and the rest of their team made my day go as smoothly as possible! I am so grateful for them and would 10/10 recommend!

    The wedding of our dreams

    Our wedding day at the Claridge exceeded all of our expectations. From the day we first looked at the venue, through the days leading up to the wedding, and especially on the day of the event itself, Jeff and Curtis went above and beyond. My fiancee and I were unable to look at the venue together, so Jeff gave me an extra tour on a separate day. He accommodated our very specific dietary requests for the tasting (which was honestly some of the best food I have had), and the meals on the day itself were just as delicious as the tasting. Both Jeff and Curtis responded immediately to emails or calls and excelled with communication. They were flexible with the extra details and truly tailored the day to us. On the day of the wedding, they made everything run seamlessly and on time. We had various components of the ceremony and reception in different rooms- Jeff reserved elevators for this and ushered everyone to where they needed to go. Jeff even helped line up the wedding party for the processions into the ceremony and the reception. The Claridge staff saved appetizers from the cocktail hour for my now-husband and I, and they saved the top of the wedding cake for us to take home- something I never would have thought of! The venue itself is so beautiful that we didn’t need extra flowers or decorations. The bridal suite is huge with ample mirrors, and Jeff and Curtis even provided champagne and fruit for getting ready the day-of. Our guests enjoyed comfortable rooms with gorgeous ocean views, and we received so many compliments about our choice of venue. We cannot thank Jeff, Curtis, and the Claridge staff enough for hosting the wedding of our dreams and making the day one of the happiest (and least stressful!) of our lives.

    The Claridge Team is excellent!

    Our wedding at the Claridge was stunning and our venue coordinator, Jeff, should win an award for his patience and professionalism. We actually were between two venues and we chose the Claridge because we wanted to work with Jeff. My advice to brides is to always choose vendors who match your working preferences because at the end of the day, you want that experience to be smooth.

    We had our ceremony in the Oceanview Room, our cocktail hour in the Art Gallery, and our reception in the Grand Ballroom. Transitioning spaces made each part of the wedding feel special. We had a multicultural wedding (Pakistani/American) and we were able to customize the space to our needs. The only problem at times was the slow elevators, but Jeff went out of his way to make sure our guests weren't kept waiting, and our wedding did take place during a busy holiday weekend.

    I also loved the bridal getting ready room - it fit all my friends and family and had the perfect space for hair, makeup, and getting dressed. We had access to it all day and the following day, so we were safely able to store belongings in there during the wedding. The food and cake was great according to our guests (it was a blur for us!) and we had no complaints. I would highly recommend the Claridge for your wedding!

    Super Kind and Accommodating Staff & Beautiful Hotel

    Words cannot describe how happy my husband and I are with our choice to have our wedding at the Claridge! The staff was unbelievably super kind, accommodating, and went over and beyond! Special shout out to Jeff, Shari, Liz, and Karina!!!! The hotel was beautiful, and the rooms were spacious, the food was delicious! Everything was handled so smoothly! Also, my outside vendors said they had a great experience working with the hotel staff! We LOVE our experience at the Claridge :) The Claridge team gave us a magical and unforgettable day that we will always treasure for the rest of our lives. Thank you so much!!!

    A Grand Hotel for a Picture Perfect Wedding.

    When our daughter and fiancé told us that they wanted to get married in Atlantic City, it was a different choice for a traditional Indian American wedding that is best done in a standard Central New Jersey venue. When they settled on Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City, we liked the overall décor and ambiance. Jeff S, the Senior Manager who showed us different rooms, answered all our questions regarding the hotel, was very knowledgeable about a traditional Indian American wedding and guided us very well. Jeff suggested taking advantage of the different rooms for the events like the ‘Sangeet’, the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception. We were really impressed with the Grand Ballroom for the formal wedding ceremony as it had ample space for the stage and the guests, the layout of the Main Ballroom seemed perfect for the informal Sangeet, and the unique Art Gallery seemed to be built just to host a Wedding Reception Cocktail Hour! We could see that the hotel décor and proximity to the beach provided a lot of opportunities for grand photographs and the guests had casinos and the boardwalk within walking distance to explore and enjoy Atlantic City.

    The choice of Claridge Hotel turned out to be way better than we ever imagined. The rich décor of the Hotel combined with the traditional Indian decorations for the wedding functions really enhanced a sense of grandeur that all our guests felt and appreciated! Guests who were curious why we had selected the Claridge Hotel instead of a traditional Indian American venue came back and told us we have set a precedent and that they can foresee many such weddings taking place at the Hotel in the future! The wedding guests were very impressed with the overall grandeur of the Hotel, the convenience of being in one location for all the functions and the customized choice of the rooms for each wedding event. And yes, the wedding photographers were delighted to take very memorable photographs at the Hotel and the Beach!

    Room service was handled very nicely by Curtis M, National Sales Manager who worked tirelessly to ensure a wonderful guest experience. Jeff made sure that all the wedding events were very well organized, working closely with our planner.Overall, Jeff, Curtis, and the staff made sure our daughter and son-in-law had what every couple dreams of when they get engaged - a very grand, truly memorable and a really fun wedding!

    I recommend The Claridge to everyone.

    I struggled to find a venue in my home town until I can to visit my parents who, on a whim, had me check out The Claridge. I knew in that moment that was where I wanted to get married as the venue is different, classy and has so much potential. We turned this golden venue into a winter wonderland and everyone raves about my wedding to this day (married on 1.23.21). The Claridge is connected to Bally’s which makes it easy for those wanting to go to the casino, avoid walking out in the cold or wanting to stay/play somewhere else. My family from out of town had the opportunity to make that weekend a get away and they absolutely loved it. The food was amazing and no one left hungry. They even include the cake in the package you chose (may have to pay out of pocket for special flavors but it was nothing outrages). Kacey ended up taking over as the Event Specialist after we had already booked the location and I was nervous asI an a very particular person. If it weren’t for her, I don’t think pulling this off would have been possible. She set up a majority of the decor and she came ready to work. Her positive, “fight-for-my-bride” attitude and work ethic has me recommending The Claridge to everyone getting married. She’s even inspired me to pursue event planning myself! Something else I want to note is that Kacey and The Claridge fought for us as we were still in the midst of Covid. While other brides struggled with their venue, Kacey was set on making sure we had our dream wedding. I feel like there is so much more I can add but just simply can’t fit it all. Before counting them out because they’re an older hotel, go and check them out, meet Kacey and you may feel the same way I did.

    Claridge was a dream!

    We booked Claridge for last year but had to cancel, and they were so accommodating. We rescheduled this year and everything was so perfect - the attention to detail was obvious. They have a separate room for the bridal party to get ready in - big mirrors for hair and makeup and plenty of room - it was stocked with champagne and orange juice and snacks for us. The wedding suite was the nicest room I've ever stayed in - also stocked with waters, wine, and snacks for us. The cocktail hour food was incredible - so many people commented on it - and the plated dinner was wonderful as well. the venue is gorgeous with so many options for where to have your ceremony and reception. I can't say how nice it was to have the ceremony, reception, and hotel all in the same location - no need to hire a bus for transportation, no need for anyone to drive after drinking. The staff were so helpful and responsive - Colleen especially was an incredible coordinator. And how can you beat an afterparty at a rooftop bar overlooking the ocean?! Couldn't have picked a better venue. Highly recommend.

    Mr and Mrs Fields

    If you’re looking for a venue where everything happens in one place, consider the Claridge. Our wedding took place in the Art Gallery, which provided an elegant backdrop for a small, intimate wedding. Playing the baby grand piano was a nice centerpiece! Leaving the reception upstairs to the bridal suite was convenient and luxurious. The strawberries, cheese and crackers and champagne were a nice added touch.

    The staff was professional, thoughtful, patient, helpful and very accommodating. They were easy to work with. Kacie Rattigan, the Sales Manager, and Lance LaBarre, the Banquet Manager, were exceptional. They had great ideas and were open to mine. They make a great team!

    Truly Wonderful!!!

    From the cost, to the food, location, and especially the event coordinator Kacie Rattigan, our day could not have been better!! We had to reschedule due to an unexpected personal circumstance and they were flexible and accommodating. Great ideas and attention to what we wanted for our setup and the price for the Ocean View room was perfect for our small wedding. We couldn’t ask for a better coordinator and staff. The Claridge made our day something truly to remember and we thank them immensely!!!

    Appreciative.

    Kacie has went above and beyond with all of our needs and accommodations. Her team at Claridge has done everything to make us feel like we are in the best hands. With Cocud hitting us just weeks shy of our wedding, they already had a backup plan. Kacie took so much off our plate we couldn't ask for anything more.

    Great Experience

    Kacie and the staff at the Claridge were amazing in helping plan our special day as well as the continuous follow up as we started planning right before the covid-19 pandemic started. She was there very step of the way with vendor contacts, suggestions, etc. She was great, and even though we are unable to have the wedding at this time due to the pandemic and limits which are out of our control, we will definatly be going back to Kacie once we are able to decide on new dates.

    Support through the pandemic

    2020: The Claridge has an awesome Wedding and Social Sales Manager, Kacie Rattigan. She always makes us feel like a top priority and is super prompt and helpful. Unfortunately because of COVID-19, we had to postpone our reception, and Kacie was able to make that process so simple. She gave us all our options and helped us talk through what would be the best decision for us. She is really dedicated to her couples.

    2021: We booked with the wedding coordinator Kacie for a date that was ultimately postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She was great to work with through the entire booking process and through the difficult decision to have to postpone. She showed us so many options and helped us envision what kind of ceremony we would want to have. We booked the Art Gallery for the cocktail hour, which is such a unique space. Our guests loved having so much to check out during the cocktail hour – from all of the great food to the art and architecture of the space. The Claridge staff was responsive and helpful throughout the planning process. We worked closely with Jeff and Lance leading up to the actual day, and they put everything together exactly as we wanted it. The Grand Ballroom was a beautiful space and our guests raved about the food and service. The Claridge hotel is a beautiful and elegant setting for a wedding and the staff was great! We would love to get to re-live the day and wouldn’t change a thing!

    5 Star Wedding Experience

    Absolutely amazing venue! I would recommend the Claridge to anyone looking to get married. They have a variety of budget options and are incredibly attentive and helpful for the entirety of the process. On top of the venue being gorgeous in itself, Jamie, the Wedding Manager, made every aspect of the planning, wedding day, and the day after fun and stress free. She truly cares about the needs and wants of the bride and groom and leaves no details ignored. 5 stars!

    Our experience at the Claridge was excellent from start to finish! Professional staff are available to help every step of the way, spectacular event spaces, and flexible contracts available without skimping on their delicious food and beverage offerings!     Best Wedding Ever!

    Best wedding ever! We had our wedding at The Claridge on Friday November 1, 2019 and it could not have been better! We had our cocktail reception in the art gallery and our guests were raving about how cool and different it was and the amount of food was extravagant. The Grand Ballroom was exactly what we were looking for. From the start of planning our wedding I wanted something different and not cookie cutter and the Claridge delivered that. It provided hotel rooms for our guests which Curtis helped us with, we had an after party at the view, and a brunch the next morning. It checked all the boxes. Everything was done elegantly. Marybeth, Lance, and Curtis were the most organized and accommodating. They made sure we had the menu, liquor, and wine we wanted. They are the best and made sure everything was perfect and are all assets to The Claridge. The day was definitely a no stress day! We had a blast!

    My Dream Wedding on Memorial Day Weekend

    I had my dream wedding at the Claridge and not only is the venue gorgeous but everyone who works there takes such pride in their work and made my day perfect. From the moment we were greeted at the entrance when we arrived days before, everyone couldn’t have been more helpful.

    Curtis who coordinated the room block was awesome and handled every request promptly and made sure everyone’s stay was most enjoyable. Mary Beth (wedding coordinator) made sure every detail was perfect from the cocktail hour to the end of the reception. Every detail was handled flawlessly. Everyone is still talking about how amazing the food was – thank you Lance and your staff! I would highly recommend the art gallery for your cocktail hour and the grand ballroom for your reception. If you do first look on the rooftop, hold on to your veil. Thank you for making our day such a memorable event!

    Beautiful Classic Atlantic City Wedding-Best Day Ever

    Our wedding was truly amazing from start to finish. We picked the Claridge because we fell in love with the space. We loved the beautiful ball room and the art gallery where we hosted our cocktail hour. Also the bar upstairs, the Vue, was an idea spot for an after party. But what really sold us on the property was Kacie and Lance. They were so hospitable from the start and really made us feel like they could make our dream wedding happen. They really did deliver. We planned our wedding in five months, which needless to say was a bit stressful. Kacie Rattigan made the process so easy. She was quick to respond and had a handle on everything. She and Lance were also able to recommend some great local vendors, which really helped me because I had no idea where to start. The day of I was a nervous wreck. Kacie and Lance took care of everything. I felt like a celebrity. No one let me lift a finger. The food and service was phenomenal too. My guests were raving about it. My friends and family couldn't stop talking about how nice everything was. All in all we were really wowed by the Claridge. Our wedding was perfect and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

    Easy flow and great wedding planner

    My wedding was on September 15th, 2018. My engagement to wedding turnover time was about 4 months- not long to plan a medium sized church to reception wedding for 120 people. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without Kacie Rattigan. The claridge with its packages, location, and views spoke for itself, but she was the the true selling point. She was beyond organized and on top of everything- reminding me of details I would’ve forgotten. Her bubbly attitude and outlook on life is contagious. She truly is the best!

    wedding was absolutely perfect. We had our ceremony & cocktail hour at the Vue and the wedding in the Grand Ballroom. Everything went so smooth and flowed perfectly from one event to the next. We had 180 people for a sit down dinner of filet & fish and everyome raved about their meals being delicious, hot and cooked perfectly. Thamks to Kacie the planner and Lance the banquet manager for making my wedding absolutely perfect!!

    I cannot say enough great things about having my wedding at The Claridge Hotel. From the initial meeting with Kacie, the coordinator, I knew we were in good hands. Literally ANYTHING I needed or had questions about, she was there to help me. She's a very special person who is amazing at what she does. Lance, the banquet manager-WOW- just amazing and SO incredibly helpful the day and entire night of the wedding/reception. We had about 270 guests and a sit down dinner and things went so smoothly. Food was great and service was even better. We were between two places for our reception, and I am SO THANKFUL that we went with The Claridge. Our guests still talk about our wedding and how beautiful the room was. Kacie, Lance, and the rest of the staff were amazing. Let's do it again!

    I had the pleasure of working with Kacie for my wedding a couple of weeks ago, & all I have to say is thank God for her! I provided her with all of my decorations with instructions on how I wanted a few things and since I felt that I could really trust her, I told her to just take control & just take care of everything how she sees fit. When I walked into the reception, it was AMAZING! She beyond exceeded my expectations & because of her, everything turned out so beautiful! If there were any issues through the night, I didn't know about it, she just handled it and made it work. She was so sweet & patient with everyone from me being the chaotic bride that I was, to all of our families and guests, everyone who met her absolutely adored her and everything she did to help make our day as special & beautiful as it could be. Kacie not only took the time and care to set everything up for us, but she took the time in then end to make sure we left with everything we needed to bring, & even went above & beyond to even help us load up our parents cars so that I could enjoy & say goodbye to all of our guests. It was definitely a night I will never forget, and for all great reasons!

    We fell in love with the Claridge when we saw the Grand Ballroom and it did not disappoint. Our ceremony was beyond picturesque as we got married in the Oceanview with stunning views of the ocean, boardwalk and park. Our guests with so impressed with our Cocktail hour in the Art Gallery that they are still talking about and how nice it was. The Grand Ballroom was just so beautiful with gorgeous decor and great views of the ocean and boardwalk. The food was amazing. Kacie our wedding planner was wonderful and took care of every last detail. The staff was fun, caring and fast. There were so many places on property for amazing pictures. It was definitely a day we will never forget and surpassed all of our hopes and wished.

    I was a guest at my nieces wedding here last month and I just wanted to give The Claridge Hotel positive praise and a well deserved great review...
    The Hotel is STUNNING!! I felt as if I was whisked back in time to a glamorous royal ball.
    Cocktail hour took my breath away inside an art gallery filled with magnificent pieces from all over the world.
    The staff at this venue were so wonderful and accommodating, Our Family wanted for nothing!
    I have eaten in some of the best restaurants and consider myself a foodie snob but I can easily say that the cuisine served was the best I have ever had at any wedding I have ever attended! Cocktail Hour had so many stations I couldn't decide where to start but my favorite was the Asian Stir Fry bar. For Dinner I had Chilean Sea Bass that topped some of my favorite seafood hot spots.
    Nothing beat the site of my lovely niece walking down the aisle in her wedding gown, Her ceremony site was so romantic and beautifully lit with candles, I couldn't believe The Claridge had another ballroom just for her ceremony!
    I was all around impressed and happy to be part of such a magical wedding.

    Just married here on 9/16/17. James, Lance, Edwin, and Chef Rolf, thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me have the most perfect wedding day I could dream of.

    Bridal suite: getting ready in the Pembroke room was amazing. The bridal suite was huge and had the Hollywood glam. It feels like you're an actress in your own room to get ready with the big lights and mirrors.

    Pictures: The hotel let us roam all over to take photos. This hotel has so many options!

    Rooms: the guests loved the rooms! Beautiful views of the ocean and extra cozy beds.

    Ceremony: we had our ceremony on the roof overlooking the ocean. It was stunning and even more beautiful than I could imagine. The guests continue to tag photos of the rooftop on Facebook.

    Billboard: James coordinated to have our photo on a billboard for when guests drove in. How cool is that!?

    Cocktail hour: the art gallery was so classy. My guests were so entertained and the food at cocktail hour was to die for. Cocktails were fabulous!

    Reception: the room looked stunning and was set up so perfectly. The service was amazing. Dinner was served hot and the meals were cooked so perfect. The decor was amazing. People couldn't get over how beautiful the ballroom was. The reception service and layout was absolutely perfect. We even asked for things out of the ordinary and the staff executed everything perfect.
    Chef... I'm blown away at the quality of the food. 5 stars!! Lance and Edwin.. fabulous job on everything!!

    Brunch: the food was amazing and staff once again was helpful.

    Last week I received a call from my cousin who said he wanted to get married in a week. He had decided to do a courtroom wedding and just needed a place for the reception. We got in touch with David Krakow, a sales manager at the Claridge Hotel, who recommended The Southampton Room. After seeing the layout of the room, my cousin changed his plans and decided to not only hold the reception there but the ceremony as well. David was very flexible and very professional and really worked with us on everything we wanted. The night before the event we were able to come in and drop off some decorations and we saw how everything was set up. Everything looked nice but the tablecloths were black not white. I was in the area early the next morning and decided to ask David some questions. I found him in the Southampton Room putting on the new tablecloths by himself. I was really impressed that a sales manager would roll up his sleeves and do some work himself to make sure that everything came out the way we wanted. However, we still had table skirts that were not the right color and we were told that they may not have the table skirts in the color we needed but may be able to get it through an outside vendor which we decided against since it still looked nice. As we were setting up decorations, Ronald (a worker from the food and beverage department) was setting up an extra table that we had asked David for. As he was putting the table skirt on, I mentioned how we wanted white table skirts which they didn't have. He finished setting up the table and left but came back with white table skirts which he found in an old storage closet that was leftover from Bally's. I also want to mention Ryan VanDuyne, another manager who really helped us out. It really says a lot when managers and workers are doing everything they can and going out of their way to make sure our event goes smoothly on such short notice.

    I had my Wedding at the Claridge Hotel this past October. What a wonderful experience from start to finish. First off, this whole hotel is absolutely beautiful, redone in a vintage 1920's decor. The Lobby, elevators, ballrooms and guest rooms are breathtaking. The Claridge staff was on point the night of the wedding and worked as a team to make my wedding wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel for a wedding, a stay or some fun!

    If you are looking for a venue for a wedding, corporate event, reunion or a special occasion The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City has my family's vote of an excellent Hotel and a breathtaking Ballroom that compares to no other we have seen. This past Saturday night my wife and I held my daughter's graduation party in the Grand Ballroom at The Claridge Hotel! Although the room can easily accommodate over 400 our party was slightly less than 200 attendees. The Grand Ballroom (they have 3 large rooms) provide view of the ocean, boardwalk and a park with a beautiful water fountain. There is 2 tiers of floors that allows for so many options. We had the dancing and music on the upper tier and tables on the lower tier and we continue to get compliments on the party and The Claridge. Family flew in from many states and were impressed with our choice to have our event at The Claridge. The staff was excellent, led by the General Manager Cem Erenler. Service from reservations for our room block, to the front desk at check in and all the pleasant staff was impressive. The hotel rooms were spacious with beautiful new furnishings and carpeting, the indoor pool was great, and the place has an amazing art gallery where you can purchase some original art. The Claridge Hotel will be on the top of our list when the time comes for a wedding for our daughter. Atlantic City is back with The Claridge leading the way. All you brides to be and parents please see what The Claridge has to offer for yourself. We are one family that now has the happy memories for the rest of our lives!

    My daughter got married at The Claridge. It was the most enjoyable wedding I have ever been to. I especially enjoyed all of the different rooms that we experienced all of the various wedding activities in such as the ballroom and the lounge. The food was absolutely spectacular. It was a great location being on the boardwalk and walking distance from the casino. I would highly reccommend this venue to anyone.

    Myself and my husband wanted to have a 1 year anniversary party due to having a small wedding of 150 people , we wanted to invite all our family and friends. So we decide hey why not have a 1 year anniversary party . We needed a venue that can hold at least 300 + people. We checked out many venue places all in atlantic City area and we were so disappointed. Our last stop was Claridge hotel. I wasnt sure but my hubby said it wouldn't hurt to look. I was Amazed ! The lobby was very very beautiful almost breath taking. I just couldnt wait to see more .the hotel gives you a Old Hollywood with a new twist My venue space was stunning I just could wait

    Our daughters entire wedding was held at the Claridge. It was beautiful and flawlessly executed. The hotel is a classic and provides a sophisticated and elegant setting without being pretentious. As this was a destination wedding, all of our guest thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and amenties of the hotel while taking advantage of the excellent location to visit the beach and casinos. James Sacco the wedding and event manager was very professional and ensured that the day went seamlessly. The Twenties restaurant catered the reception and hosted the rehearsal dinner, the food was creative and delicious. My daughter and her new husband thought they had the best wedding ever, all our guests were pleased and very happy that they made the trip. You can't ask for anything better than that!

    Beautiful summer wedding!

    I was recently married at the Claridge in the grand ballroom and got a lot of rave reviews from guests about the wedding! People loved the food, the cocktail hour in the art gallery, and the grand ballroom. We had about 150 guests and had plenty of room without it being too spread out. We had a few children attend, and they were able to play together without disturbing guests. Jamie Robinson was a pleasure to work with! She was very responsive and attended to everything we needed. The room looked beautiful and the staff did a great job at keeping to the timeline we set up. Curtis McNulty, who handed the room block, was also great to work with and quickly resolved any issues we had. There were a few negatives, but they were mostly regarding room keys not working. My sister wasn't happy with her vegetarian entree, but all of the other food was great. Some people had trouble making a reservation with the room block, but we were able to resolve those issues. The wedding went very well and the Claridge was a great value and easy to work with!

    Claridge experience

    My wife and I waited over two years to share our special day at the Claridge in Atlantic City. The Claridge made our wedding day everything we could have asked for. They were extremely accommodating throughout the long process to all of our special requests (Thanks Jeff) The art gallery (cocktail hour) and ballroom provided classy and spacious venues. Our guests are still talking about the impressive food spread at the cocktail hour. Curtis will make your life very easy booking all of the rooms. We are very appreciative to the Claridge and their staff. I would highly recommend the Claridge.

    What an unbelievably memorable experience. My mother still has a photo of when my father proposed to her outside of The Claridge Hotel in 1973! We were nervous when we heard The Claridge had new ownership, again. We heard the renovations had come a long way and were beautiful, and the second we stepped on the property we knew it was going to be something special. The second you walk in the lobby you are struck with the rich history of the hotel; with its authentically looking old furniture, and extremely gaudy accents, the hotel looks like it has been preserved in a 1920's time capsule. After working out some scheduling, and months of typical wedding stress, we were not let down when we finally got into their new water-view ballroom that was not even completed when we initially looked at the hotel! The ballroom has enormous elegant chandeliers, and continues that same old style feel that the rest of the hotel has, plus it has huge ocean facing windows that look right over Brighton Park to the boardwalk / Atlantic. They provided the catering, which we were complimented heavily on. Being that it is a hotel, we had the benefits of getting rooms right there, and being able to let people stay rather than drive. As we all know, there are many casinos in this town, and uncountable ballrooms and banquet halls etc. The Claridge did so much more than give us a large room, they provided an incredible experience all the way around. Did I mention the rooms have the same old 1920's look the rest of the hotel has? Every accent in the hotel is perfect. We had many families come in, and immediately book rooms for summer vacations. They love that the hotel is smoke-free, and although it does not have a casino, it is connected via a breezeway, so the adults still had some fun after the kiddies went to sleep. My parents were brought to tears several times while walking around the hotel from the memories. Thank you Claridge Hotel for the best weekend of my life from me and my family.

    Historical Gem

    The Claridge is a beautiful venue for a wedding, and I was truly happy my daughter chose this historic hotel for her reception. The day of the wedding went as flawlessly as any large event could, and we were very pleased. Getting there was a little bumpy, however, as the Claridge seemed to be going through a period of transition, and we had to deal with multiple wedding coordinators during the course of our planning year. Our first one was excellent and our last one was excellent, so I guess that is all that matters! If you have a room block for your guests, leave time and patience for the check-process - that is where we had multiple of our problems.

    My daughter’s wedding was a beautiful affair- - the food was excellent, the servers were professional and polite, and park setting was very special. Most of the credit has to go to the Wedding Sales Manager, James - he saw our event through from beginning to end over any and all rough spots. The sudden change in caterers would have been a disaster if not for James taking charge and making things right. However, there were several problems which took away from my giving this venue a top rating:
    • The rehearsal dinner was a huge disappointment. Our wedding took place during the 4th of July weekend when it was almost impossible to book a nearby restaurant, so we went with the Claridge. The food and the service were terrible, and I was extremely embarrassed.
    • When we booked the Claridge, one of the deciding factors was that the hotel agreed to upgrade the liquor package- specifically, they were to give us Johnny Walker Black instead of Johnny Walker Red. We had this in writing in the contract. My son-in-law discovered this was not the case when he asked for Johnny Walker Black during the reception.
    • During the reception, the table arrangement was not what I had decided on; as a result, several tables of guests could not see what was going on.
    The outdoor ceremony itself was wonderful- the weather, the setup, the timing were all done perfectly. Despite the glitches mentioned above, I was overwhelmed when I was James waiting to see us off at the beginning of the procession.
    The cocktail hour was also excellent. There were so many stations and servers that no one ended up waiting in line for food (which was delicious). Having the cocktail hour in the art gallery was so unique; our guests loved it.
    The brunch was even better that we expected. There was plenty of seating for our guests and the servers were on top of things. The Ocean View room is beautiful during a sunny day, and I would highly recommend it for a brunch (not dinner- too dingy).

    Do not Use this venue

    Run! Do not use this venue, it was summer and it was so hot in the room we had our reception because their air did not work. We should of been more alert because when we viewed it to book the reception it was hot in there and she told use they dont turn it on unless there is a reception going on. Also, the food was not good very skimpy and we also seen a roach which was horrible at the cocktail hour! The bridal suite had a crack pipe under the bed when we were looking for our slippers under the bed! The room smelt like mildew!! Dirty place!

    A roach fell from the ceiling onto the guest plate

    The staff was rude, 2 spotted roaches one on a plate of the guests food and one on a glass. Hair was found in food

    DO NOT USE THIS VENUE!!! We had the worst experiences here. The hotel elevators are so slow they made us late to our own events. The elevators dropped on two sets of guests and they literally had to climb out. Worst of all, the wedding coordinator was incredibly rude to everyone including my officiant and DJ and the wedding guests when things don't go her way. Kacie R pretty much ruined any nice wedding experience we could have had. We spent all day getting locked out of our rooms because the keys wouldn't work. We ended up with over 3 dozen keys between 3 rooms. The elevators had a 10-15 minute wait every single time you needed to use them. i had to walk through the staff area and take the steps in my ballgown WHICH RIPPED so we could make it in time because the elevators are too unreliable. The heat was pumping during the ceremony and cocktail hour. The beef they served us was terrible and insanely small portions. They couldn't even be bothered to press the linens for the tables before setting them. None of the hotel staff or managers performed their jobs anywhere near efficiently. My experience for my wedding was a nightmare and they think they giving a honeymoon suite after the fact fixes the damages they did.

    Not only that, but they also disputed my very legitimate review on weddingwire.com knowing full well what they did. From the moment I started booking and PAID IN FULL to the actual day, it was a nightmare. They gave me the wrong promo code to give out to my guests so everyone had issues booking rooms. They comped us one room for this mess up and it ended up screwing up my room for me and my husband in return. They also extended reception a half hour for the elevators, thinking that did enough justice for the disasters they created, but little did I know at the time that the elevators had dropped on people.

    These people are completely unprofessional, specifically Kacie R and how she spoke to my bridal party and my guests and vendors.
