I cannot say enough good things about Christina and her band. Before the wedding itself, she did an amazing job helping us organize what music we wanted for the ceremony, cocktail hour and of course the reception. She was extremely organized during this process and she made this aspect of our wedding easy to plan and stress free.
Christina and her band exceeded any expectations I had for the reception. Not only does she have a beautiful voice, but the energy herself and the band brought that night was electric. We had people on the dance floor from the time they started playing until the very last song. They truly brought an element to our wedding that I'll never forget and always be grateful for. One of the highlights on our wedding night was a member of her band that played the fiddle. He absolutely killed it and was amazing to watch. If you're looking for a wedding band that will bring a great energy to your wedding and is easy to work with, I recommend Christina with the highest regard.The Christina Kateri Band's reply:

Hire Christina and the CKB Band. They are, without a doubt, the most passionate band that we interviewed. Christina was the first vendor that I spoke with when we were beginning our wedding planning journey, and I should have hired her on the spot. However, I am glad that we interviewed approximately six other bands because we were able to see how much Christina and the CKB stands out amongst their peers. Christina checked in with me over the course of about six months; not in a ‘sales’ way, but in a genuine ‘how is the crazy world of wedding planning treating you?’ way. She is the only band that reached out post interview and made sure that all of our questions were answered thoroughly. She continuously proved that she and her band would go above and beyond for us for our wedding. We were able to see CKB perform live and quickly hired her afterwards. Over the course of about a year, we worked together to create our ceremony, cocktail, and reception music dreams come true. Christina was so patient with all of my questions and guided us towards selecting appropriate instruments for our day. Our wedding day music was absolutely perfect thanks to CKB and their professionalism and talent. We selected a Frank Sinatra / Rat Pack themed cocktail hour and first dance song and we are still blown away at how amazing the male vocalist was at performing. I was so impressed by how apparent it was that the members of CKB were truly having a great time performing. I cannot thank CKB enough for being such a fantastic part of our wedding day. I won’t miss wedding planning, but I will miss talking with Christina. Thank you for everything! -

Hiring The Christina Kateri Band for our wedding was an absolute highlight of our special day. From the moment they started playing, their professionalism and incredible talent shone through, creating the perfect atmosphere we had envisioned. Not only did they play the exact style of music we wanted, but their performance truly elevated the overall experience for us and our guests. We wanted a very specific music style, mostly oldies (50's/60's), classy, and music that every generation there could appreciate. They completely nailed it and the dance floor was full all night.
Throughout the planning process, one key thing that stood out was their seamless communication and attention to detail. They were receptive to our ideas and preferences, ensuring that the music selection was tailored to our taste. This personalized approach made us feel heard and valued as clients, adding an extra layer of comfort during a stressful time.
The band's overall energy and enthusiasm were infectious, keeping the dance floor alive throughout the night. The compliments we've received from our guests about the band have been endless, reaffirming our decision to choose them for our special day. We highly recommend The Christina Kateri Band to any couple looking to create unforgettable moments through music on their wedding day. -

Christina and her team were absolutely WONDERFUL to work with and literally added pure magic to my day! When I pictured walking down the aisle, I knew music was one of the most important aspects of that moment to set the romantic tone. Boy did they deliver! So many guests raved about them and gave them so many compliments. Not only were they wonderful on the day of, Christina was wonderful during the planning portion. She was so warm and friendly yet so professional at the same time. Extremely prompt and organized, I had no issues planning the music portion of my day and it was a breeze. I highly recommend the Christina Kateri Band at your wedding!! -

Incredible Band
I absolutely love Christina and her band! They performed at my son Andy and his bride Makenzi’s wedding reception. The quality of the sound, their voices, professionalism and overall interaction with them is sheer perfection. It’s talent like the Christina Kateri Band that makes bands an essential part of true entertainment. Highly, highly recommended them to everyone. -

Right out of the gate, Christina was on the ball. She was responsive and organized. She took the time to understand our musical preferences and provided helpful recommendations.
On the big day, everything went perfectly. The Christina Kateri Band delivered! This included learning and performing several new songs at our request. They also accommodated our desire to include some acapella singing led by members of the wedding party. By the end of the night, everyone was on the dancefloor having a great time. We only wish the party could've gone even longer!The Christina Kateri Band's reply:

My husband and I got married on July 9th 2022 in northern Michigan. If I am truly honest, I wanted a DJ for our wedding reception because I wanted to really "feel" the music and be able to "get down" all night! My husband begged for a band, and we actually went and saw SEVERAL very well known wedding bands in Michigan and then the last band we saw was The Christina Kateri Band. She was super warm and welcoming when we met her, and on top of that the band sounded great. We hired them for our wedding, and guess what? The BEST DECISION. I am so thankful we went with a band for our wedding and especially Christinas. She was super responsive to us, and organized and on top of it all throughout the wedding planning process. I trusted she wanted to make me a happy bride. The day of our wedding she met with my brother who sings at every family wedding "We Didn't Start the Fire" and did a sound check with him. Which I appreciated. The cocktail hour music was great and the guests loved it. But most of all, the reception was a blast! Our guests danced all night long and my husband did, who truly isn't the dancer out of us. As for feeling the music, and getting down with my bridal party and fam, it definitely happened. They were so great, a couple at our wedding hired them for theirs. Very happy with our decision, and this is coming from a bride who wanted a DJ, and also after seeing other bands and researching. Christina and her band are amazing. Loved having them be part of one of the most important days of our lives. We planned our wedding in 3 months and we were so happy to work with a knowledgeable, and attentive vendor with a knock out voice! The music was wonderful the whole day and her team efficiently took care of everything. Several members of my family and our guests complimented us on our music. We are so happy they could be part of our celebration. Hopefully not getting remarried but would hire again!The Christina Kateri Band's reply:

Christina and her band were incredible! They set the perfect vibe for our wedding and we danced
All night long! During the planning of our wedding, Christina was hands down the best vendor to work with. She was extremely responsive and on top of communication. Just a dream to work with which I cannot say for other vendors. If you are looking for a responsive vendor and a highly skilled band, then this is it!The Christina Kateri Band's reply:

I can't say enough about Christina and her amazing band! From the start, my husband and I felt an immediate connection with her. She was so friendly and easy to communicate with. And if you're a Type-A personality like I am, then you'll love her thoroughness and detailed planning tools! We honestly felt like more than just a wedding client to her. We felt like friends who were celebrating our special day together. The entire band was so professional and I never once had to worry about the process. And the music! She learned every one of our priority songs and the overall set was magical. The dance floor was packed the entire evening. An incredible overall song selection across multiple genres (we loved the country additions). Do yourself a favor and work with this musical genius!The Christina Kateri Band's reply:

Christina is amazing to work with! Ironically enough, my husband and I got engaged downtown Detroit at the Thanksgiving Day parade 2019 and come to find our Christina performed there, it was meant to be. Not only is her voice incredible, her professionalism and attention to detail made an easy decision for us to book with her. She’ll keep you on track with timelines, what’s needed, etc. and will work with you on customizing ceremony and/or reception music. Christina and her band “made" the evening! People were out on the dance floor all night! And those who remained on the sidelines still got to enjoy an upbeat and FUN performance! I loved the energy in the room and seeing everyone having such a good time! Christina was wonderful to work with ahead of time too. Arrangements were straightforward and streamlined. Christina and her band were absolutely amazing! Christina was so great to work with leading up to our big day - making sure she knew what we liked, didn’t like, and any special requests we had. She was so organized, which helped me so much because I knew that I didn’t have to worry about the music!
