What a hidden gem in the heart of New Braunfels, TX. Michael and his team worked with us over the span of the past year to ensure that we had the wedding of our dreams - communication was quick and the venue itself has so much to offer. The chapel, courtyard, and reception doesn’t even need too much decor as it is beautiful on its own. The cottages afterwards were nice as we were able to continue our “after party” with our friends and immediate family. Michael even allowed my dog as part of the ceremony. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for friendly staff, a beautiful venue, and comfy overnight lodging tucked into one. Not to mention, Michael and his team ensured the affordability of their venue. I can’t express enough gratitude. Thank you for making my dream wedding come to life! -

My husband and I decided to have our wedding out of state, from Maryland. Michael was very responsive and gave us a Facetime tour of the place to help us visualize the layout. My favorite and my savior was their Bride Guide. I referenced that guide so many times until the big day.
On the day of, I felt so welcomed by the staff. Shout out to Joel for being so friendly and down to earth! We were able to tour during the setup and it was absolutely gorgeous (we had the wedding mid-October and the weather was perfect). Every part of the venue, including the four cottages and the bridal suite, was amazing! There are no faults in booking with Michael and The Chapel at Gruene. It meant a lot that Michael personally came by when I was heading to the ceremony. I had the best time here and I highly recommend it here! -

I toured a lot of venues and none of them felt right until the Chapel at Gruene. All the other venues I looked at had so many rules and didn’t want to work with what I envisioned. When I first went to the Chapel at Gruene I was greeted by Michael the owner and he is so friendly and flexible. He truly wanted the day to be what my husband and I wanted. There’s a feeling when you go to this venue that takes the stress of all the planning away. It’s truly so special. Our wedding day went perfect and the pictures couldn’t be more beautiful. I highly recommend!🤍 -

Absolutely incredible!!!
Our wedding at Chapel at Gruene in Gruene, TX last weekend was nothing short of MAGICAL! From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make our special day flawless. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking—picture-perfect settings, beautifully maintained grounds, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that made our guests feel at home.
What truly set this venue apart was the exceptional staff. They were professional, organized, and genuinely invested in making our vision come to life. Every detail was handled seamlessly, from the initial tour to the final send-off. Each space at the venue is already so elegant on its own, and the venue staff will set up the tables and chairs for you ahead of your arrival. All that was left was the actual decorating of the dinner tables. We added a nice tablescape mixed with some of the greenery and classy decor items that the venue provides from their decor store (all free) mixed with the floral arrangements and stems that we brought with us. It was perfect, and so easy to execute. Their coordination, communication, and attentiveness to our floor plan and requests meant that we could just come in, set up the table decor, relax, and enjoy the rest of the day without a single worry.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines elegance, charm, and top-tier service, look no further than Chapel at Gruene. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will cherish the memories made here forever. Highly recommend! -

The Chapel at Gruene was the MOST PERFECT VENUE to get Married at! We got married March 31st 2024 and let me tell you everything from the Beautiful venue to the staff was absolutely amazing. They also have an amazing decor collection that is completely included with the venue! The Chapel at Gruene team are one of the mostly sweetest people you will come across, since the moment we booked they would reach out to make sure everything was in line to make our day perfect and they where always so helpful. Thank you so much Michael Tompkins and The chapel Team for making our day absolutely perfect! -

Best value venue a bride could ask for!
We had the most amazing experience at The Chapel at Gruene. It was the perfect venue for our intimate destination wedding of 90 guests. Everyone loved staying in Gruene, and the cabins were perfect for our local guests. The property was beautifully manicured, and the wildflowers were abundant during our March wedding! We had a more formal, sit-down, plated dinner. I was going for a whimsical, garden-party vibe, and I was initially worried whether the venue could provide the more formal atmosphere I was looking for. It totally did! It is not just for brides looking for a rustic venue! We had a magical night and our guests could not stop raving. Michael and his team did an excellent job ensuring that our night was perfect. Plus, we saved so much money because of the excellent decor collection! You won’t regret booking this venue! -

Michael and his staff are absolutely amazing. They care, they want to make it special and they are professional and fast! I couldn’t have imagined a better place to have our wedding. Staying onsite was a huge bonus and if I could I would redo it a million times! It’s the most fun outdoor & indoor venue. Give it a tour at the very least, you will fall in love! -

We had the most wonderful wedding at The Chapel at Gruene, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The hosts were exceptional, and their warm hospitality made our special day even more memorable. The property's beauty is breathtaking, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how wonderful and beautiful the venue was. The team at the chapel was incredibly accommodating and kind, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding. Thank you, Chapel at Gruene, for making our day so magical! It rained on our wedding day, however, the TCG team were so incredibly hospitable and accommodating that I completely forgot it was raining. If you were thinking about choosing them as your venue, don’t think twice, and just book them! -

This venue was stunning. They provided so much it was an excellent value. Beautiful tables and chairs, decor items, sleeping arrangements, bridal suite, chapel, uplighting, bar area so much. I am sure I am missing things. It was really perfect for our wedding of 112 people. -

Memorable experience beyond words
Location of venue is exceptional. Atmosphere / Ambience exceeds wedding expectations. Communication was excellent. Venue provided decor is priceless. Chapel is picture perfect. Vendors worked well with venue coordinators. Simple set up and clean up. Would recommend for 100 guests or less. -
