We chose this venue for our son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner for their destination wedding in Asheville and we had high expectations. Melissa, Ashley and their team impressed none the less. More remarkable, all the planning was done 100% remotely, while we were in Vermont, during COVID. The food was outstanding, served family style by folks who whisked in and out seamlessly, with more food and drink. It hit the perfect note for the families to relax together. -

We had such a wonderful experience with Jessie and Tabitha as coordinators and event planners at The Century Room. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and would have been perfect the modern-meets-rustic vibe we were after. The brick and lighting is simply magic.
Their drink selection and ability to order anything was such a perk, and the food was very good as we were able to dine in their restaurant and sample cross-over items for their event menu.
Unfortunately we had to cancel our wedding due to COVID, but the proactive communication, fairness, and care with how we were treated by Tabitha and Jessie during the entire ordeal is what prompts me to write this review. I am sad we were unable to carry through with our vision as I am sure it would have been a smashing success, and I have not doubt they will be wonderful partners to other newlyweds-to-be able to execute their weddings in Asheville. I would highly recommend this beautiful, budget-friendly venue to anyone and you will not go wrong working with Jessie and Tabitha! -

We may have picked Century Room on the Park prior to the pandemic, but we could not have picked a better venue staff to work with. We unfortunately had multiple postponements and Tabitha was nothing but exceptional to work with through the whole process. Century Room sets the bar high when it comes to class and professionalism. Seriously, they are nothing but the best. -

We chose Pack's Tavern as the reception venue for our May '21 wedding, and it was the perfect choice for us. We had a small wedding with around 25 guests so we used their patio area to have a dinner - it was beautiful! I received so many compliments on the space, even with little additional decor.
My husband and I were also blown away by the "house" beer selection. We expected a few domestic beers for our guests to be able to choose from and instead we were offered everything Asheville had to offer.
And, the food. Oh my, the food. Five months later and it's the most mentioned aspect of our wedding! We chose a selection of brisket, bbq, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, etc, and Pack's knocked it out of the park. If you've eaten at Pack's Tavern, then you know what to expect and you will not be disappointed!
Due to the nature of a Pandemic Wedding, we had to work within Covid-19 protocols, but it was a painless experience for my husband and I, as well as our guests. Honestly, we hardly noticed and would not call them an inconvenience in the slightest.
Also, the event coordinator, Tabitha, was a pleasure to work with. She answered all of my questions, kept us up to date on the ever-changing Covid-19 mandates, and did her best to help us know what to expect. She was extremely helpful!
Our experience with Pack's Tavern was everything we had hoped for and more. We wouldn't have changed a thing! -

We have received non-stop compliments on our venue since our wedding! The Century Room included everything you possibly could need/want in a venue. In addition to being a gorgeous and conveniently located venue, we thoroughly enjoyed that it was a one-stop-shop for us, as The Century Room was our ceremony/reception space, as well as our bar/catering providers! Tabitha Wyatt was fantastic to work with over the last year- she is incredibly sweet and accommodating and has just been so helpful throughout our entire wedding planning process! She was hands-on the entire day of our wedding, in addition to checking in with us frequently leading up to the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly! We truly appreciate the entire wait staff and coordinators at The Century Room who made our wedding day better than we could have dreamed of! -

You need to see this one in person, and talk with the event coordinator, Lizzy! As soon as we did, we knew this was the place for us. With some of the most reasonable pricing around for food & alcohol (we did plated meal & beer/wine only), plus a GORGEOUS all inclusive space downtown that's perfect for ceremony, cocktail hour & reception- you really can't go wrong. We got so many compliments from our guests on the food, local beer, and historic beauty of the space. We had a large number of vegans that were accommodated nicely, and we took advantage of the upstairs apartment for getting ready as well. Our photos with the brick & lots of natural light have turned out just beautiful. Since we were planning from afar for our wedding back in my hometown, communication with the venue was incredibly important. Lizzy was quick to respond to emailed questions, worked with us within our budget, and most importantly-we felt such a great connection with the staff that we were truly able to trust them with the execution of our day & had a relaxing, loving ceremony & reception. We can't thank you enough Lizzy & Tabitha, and highly recommend you book the Century Room! -

Sarah Sent on 06/26/2018We were absolutely blown away by The Century Room! When we started the long process of planning our wedding out of state, to say we were overwhelmed was an understatement. We were so lucky to be recommended to The Century Room. As soon as I walked in the room captured the exact feeling I was going for. Not only was the location perfect, the room was enchanting and beautiful. The price was by far the most reasonable and the staff alone made this experience easy, fun, and truly magical. Our Wedding day went off without a hitch! The food was delicious! We are still getting compliments on how awesome the macaroni and cheese bar was! It was more beautiful then we even imagined. Thank you Julie and Lizzy with all of our hearts and to all the staff that helped make our experience seriously perfect! We would recommend this venue over and over again! I wish everyone who gets married got to have the same phenomenal experience that we had with The Century Room.

Lizzy and Julie were so responsive every time I emailed them with a question or change (even the morning of the wedding) and were so on top of everything. All the information we went over in meetings was very straightforward and easy to understand. It was also really great to have a venue that already handles the tables, chairs, dinnerware, servers, bartenders, etc. rather than having to piecemeal all of that or worry about having it all delivered from another company. When my coordinator showed up, all of the tables and place setting were finished so she just needed to place flowers and decor- super simple!
We were also incredibly excited about the menu we chose (family style) and our guests raved about the food! We did a tasting to make sure we liked everything we were considering and we ended up only changing out one of the hoer d'oeuvres we tried. Everything else was top notch and the hoer d'oeuvres we did go with were really tasty. For dessert we had brownies that were included with our menu choice instead of any type of cake or cupcakes and it was such a good decision. Easier to have them handle it in house and so delicious.
10/10 would definitely host another event here! -

They were such a breeze to work with and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our special day. We planned a destination wedding from South Florida and it was never an issue with the Century Room. The event space was beautiful and the food was great. Everyone is still talking about how much they loved the venue. Their staff work with you in every aspect of your event and are very responsive to emails, phone calls, and anything you need for you big day. We had multiple changes arise the week of the wedding and the staff could not have been more accommodating. We are so grateful to have had our wedding reception at The Century Room!Century Room on the Park's reply:
