Great experience! The venue is terrific. We were the only wedding going on at the time. The food was great. Drinks were fantastic- open bar. The guests were very happy. Jimmy did a great job and all the staff were awesome. People were dancing and had a great time. Dave was very upfront from the beginning, honest, helpful and he delivered. The lighting was perfect. I would highly recommend brookside Manor to other people and will definitely keep them in mind for other events in the future.

I got married on 12/30/22 and had my wedding reception at Brookside Manor. We could not have been more pleased with our choice. The ballrooms were beautiful. The cocktail hour had more hors d'oeuvres options than we could count. Most places that we looked at gave you your choice of 6 to 8. Not Brookside, they gave us everything. The owner there, Dave is great to work with. His attention to detail is what made the day great. We picked kielbasa for our menu and he went down to Port Richmond to get it. He setup an ice cream bar at our dessert station. I had various decorations, he made sure they were all exactly where I wanted them. We had 11 kids at our wedding, he made sure that they were well taken care of. Brookside's pricing beat out several other venues that we looked at and they offered us much more. To top everything off, the venue was decorated for Christmas and looked absolutely stunning. We could not have asked for a better reception.

Nice place for your event, Specially a wedding. Good food and great services bartenders are very nice the servers did a great job. I love everything about this place. Just had my wedding there and I will consider them for any other event I may have.

When you are venue hunting, always keep in mind the ability for flexibility and weigh your options with what they are willing to offer you in their package! We did n outdoor ceremony and had a buffet style dinner! You would not be disappointed in the food either!

This venue was incredible. Our maitre'e d Paul worked with us from the beginning planning stages to the end of the reception to help make our wedding the best ever! They were very reasonably priced, and super flexible. The ballroom was exquisite and all the staff really cared about making our event wonderful! They even packed up all our items after the reception and let us pick it up the next day. If you're looking for a venue that's beautiful and charming, with amazing staff, and won't break the bank, Brookside Manor is the place. It was perfect!

We used Brookside Manor as our reception venue in May 2015. Paul was fantastic to work with, and he made sure the night ran smoothly for us. We were actually able to enjoy our wedding reception instead of stressing and worrying about things. I thought the food was fantastic and our guests also raved about the food. I have several guests who needed a gluten free or vegetarian meal and they had plenty of options for a meal. The staff were very accommodating to my guest who was wheelchair bound and they assisted her throughout the night to get her food and to maneuver throughout the hall throughout the evening. Our maître d’ was very attentive and she brought us plates of food and drinks to our sweetheart table so that we were actually able to eat dinner. Overall the staff worked very hard to make sure that the evening went smoothly for us and because of their hard work, we were actually able to enjoy our wedding with our guests. I was also on a budget for our wedding and their prices were fantastic compared to other venues in the area. I was very happy with how the night wen and I would recommend Brookside Manor any day.a

I chose to have my wedding at the Brookside Manor at Somerton Springs. We had our ceremony in the Somerton Room and our reception in the Grand Ballroom. Dave and Margie were extremely helpful accommodating my requests. The food was amazing and people who were at my wedding still tell me how great the food was. The entire place was decorated beautifully for Christmas, both outside and inside. I would highly recommend to choose Brookside Manor as your wedding venue!

Dave and his staff at the Brookside Manor were great! My husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing the day of our wedding. The food was excellent, people are still tellin us about how much they ate, how good it was, how much they loved the appetizers and the desert table! We couldn't be more happy with the turn out of the reception. The only thing I wish was included were chair covers or the ability to select other chairs for the space that we were in (Grand Ballroom) and the fact that because they have things down to their own science they weren't very accomodating to seting the table with menu cards folded in the napkins the way I had envisioned it. But all in all everything was beautiful.

Dave completely ignored our signed contract. We were very disappointed with the service we received at my daughter's wedding reception on 6-1-19. We were supposed to have the entire building for 300 guests. Dave got greedy and booked the room where the 3 buffet tables were supposed to go. We had 2 buffet tables down 3 or 4 steps with elderly and wheelchair guest. We were to have 2 bars, instead we had 1 bar. The maître D never made it to all the tables to tell our guests that it was their turn to go to the buffet table. I finally did this myself. The house DJ, on the move, was cocky and ignorant to our guests. We gave him a list of songs we wanted him to play, and he only played some. He rudely told one of my guests he wouldn't play a song because it was too long. I would never recommend Brookside Manor or the house DJ on the move to anyone.
