Working with Megan from the Borrowed Teacup was one of the best decisions I made while planning my wedding. I hired Megan to design and set up the dinner tables for my rustic wedding of 100 guests. In the early planning stages I appreciated how attentive she is over email and she's very organized -- we used shared Google files to collaborate and it worked very well. I rented several different styles of votives from Megan's thoughtfully curated inventory and we worked together to select the rest of the things we needed from other vendors.
She is SO talented and very experienced, and she went above and beyond on the day of the wedding. It was really windy at the farm where the reception was and Megan stayed later than intended just to make sure that everything was perfect before my guests sat down for dinner. She also integrated her ideas seamlessly with the simple decor provided by my venue and with the tabletop bud vases my florist designed. The tables looked stunning and everyone commented on how perfect they were.
Overall, Megan was a joy to work with. She's creative, kind and professional and truly worked with me to understand my vision for the tablescapes. I highly recommend her for styling and day of set up, especially if you're like me and didn't hire a wedding planner. You can tell she loves what she does!The Borrowed Teacup's reply:

Truly wonderful
In the words of The Borrowed Teacup owner Megan Dobro, "It's no easy feat planning a wedding in the best of times, but pulling off a wedding amidst a global pandemic is heroic." This sentiment alone gives insight into what a pleasure it is working with Megan and the good folks of The Borrowed Teacup. Every step of the way (to early conversations with Megan about my anxieties, fears and hesitation about even having a wedding), to the constant changes throughout the process (guest numbers fluctuating due to the pandemic, etc.), Megan was professional, attentive, thoughtful, deeply empathetic and totally visionary throughout. She made talking about our wedding FUN, which it wasn't always!
When we finally met Megan in person the day before our wedding, we couldn't have felt more at ease. I knew she understood our vision in a profound way, thanks to all the time she spent speaking with me beforehand. The day of our wedding was such a blur and Megan and her team took care of everything, leaving us to enjoy our wedding day without stressing about it. When we finally saw all the work they had done, it was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. If you want to work with someone who will listen and understand what you want, and perhaps make it even better than you thought was possible, I cannot recommend The Borrowed Teacup enough.
