We had our wedding at The Bond with The JDK Group Catering & Events, and they were exceptional. Jackie Duval and the team made us feel like we were their only clients — calm, supported, and completely taken care of. We even threw them the challenge of two brides getting ready in the same space without seeing each other, and they handled it flawlessly. The serving staff was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional, and our guests are still raving about the gourmet food. Truly a perfect experience. -

AMAZING! The most perfect wedding!
Absolutely love the bond!! We had our wedding there on 12/6/2025 and it was the most perfect day. The bond is super helpful and accommodating ! They made this whole process of being a bride 10x easier. The day of the wedding they did a bunch of stuff that I honestly thought we had to do and it was a nice surprise! JDK is amazing and the food is delicious. All my quest complimented how good the food is. I would highly recommend getting married at the bond. It was truly an amazing experience it is just a beautiful venue over all the event staff and coordinators are amazing.

JDK is the reason my wedding was the best day of my life. I hired JDK's venue, catering, and florals team and they handled EVERYTHING. The venue (The Bond) was beautiful, the florals were stunning, and the food was unmatched. Lexi was our event producer and she was so lovely and excellent throughout the ENTIRE process (even before I hired the JDK team). She was so patient with me and provided thoughtful suggestions as we went on. Colton & Brooke's floral team enhanced the space, was cohesive, and EXACTLY what I was looking for. I was even taking photos and I took a photo with my bouquet and without, and my overall look was visibly elevated by the flowers. I gave them an idea of what I was looking for and they not only executed my vision but exceeded it. Overall, all of the JDK teams I worked with were so professional, efficient, and amazing at their jobs. I trusted their team and knew everything would be taken care of. I had 0 stress the day of the wedding because I knew I had the JDK behind me. -

Our wedding was amazing at The Bond! Our wedding coordinator Abbey was the best! Food, service, bartenders killed it! Our DJ from Soundwaves entertainment Associate DJ Craig Glatfelter's services was fantastic! Chris Pyle owner of Soundwaves entertainment is definitely a favorite to hire! The staff were very friendly and helpful! Could not have asked for a better night! -

If you're an art lover, this wedding venue is absolutely perfect! As we began our search, I was immediately drawn to its extraordinary beauty and prime location in the heart of the Royal Square District, surrounded by vibrant murals. The moment we toured the building, we were sold—it was everything we had been looking for.
Its rustic aesthetic complemented our boho theme exquisitely, creating a unified look and feel that was simply stunning and everything I had imagined. We were allowed to decorate however we wanted, making the Bond truly my canvas for my big ideas!
The venue was incredibly spacious and comfortably fit all our guests, giving everyone plenty of room to mingle and enjoy the celebration. On top of that, it’s functionality really helps make the day less stressful, with the convenience of being able to get ready on-site and ample parking for all our attendees. We were fortunate to have additional setup time and our rehearsal the night before, which was incredibly helpful and made the day-of much less stressful.
No to mention, the venue’s location was also perfect! It was within walking distance of both the Yorktowne Hotel and our rehearsal dinner venue, Iron Horse York. Overall, this venue provided everything we needed and more, and was the perfect backdrop for our unforgettable day!

When looking for our wedding venue, we wanted something that was not a barn, and not a hotel ballroom. This left us with a smattering of historic buildings and a few repurposed industrial venue spaces, and the absolute gem that is The Bond in our search area. After our initial tour of The Bond with Alyssa, we still visited a few other venues, but after sitting down to dinner each time, we both ended up saying “... but it’s not The Bond. I like The Bond better.” The Bond is an exceptional space. The industrial glam structure flexes to fit many decor styles, but we definitely attempted to incorporate the building’s and the King Square Garden’s character into our wedding day. The entire process was fairly painless, and Alyssa supported us throughout the process. JDK catering earned many compliments from our guests and other vendors as well as ourselves; the food is a step above meals we have had at other weddings. I have several significant dietary restrictions in my family, including cross-contamination sensitive individuals with Celiac disease. The chef and catering staff worked with me to sub ingredients to ensure everyone could safely eat. The day-of-coordinator, Sydney, was also helpful throughout the event and handled any concerns we had. We also wanted to give a shout out to the bartending staff, who handled our signature cocktails, beer and wine selection, and NA options with ease. The day of the wedding, we were assigned a member of the JDK catering team (Sandy) who ensured that we always had our preferred drink of the moment in our hands, and she even held our drinks during photos if needed. She also made sure we got to try all of the hor d'oeuvres that we had selected. We love Sandy! Last but most certainly not least, Alyssa B. is a shining star to work with when it comes to support for planning your wedding. She was engaged, listened to our ideas, and worked to help take the loose vision in our heads to reality on our wedding day. She was easy to communicate with and to get a hold of when we needed, and ensured any and all concerns were addressed on every front, from catering to filler decor to logistics for bringing in our (450 bite-size) desserts and alcohol. We could not have pulled it off without her. -

Upscale Industrial Venue!
Colton and his team did an AMAZING job with our wedding florals at The Bond in York, PA - the pops of color and touches of boho, all within a moody and romantic palette, was executed perfectly. I definitely wanted some color brought to the gray industrial space, with but with a relaxed elegance. We really couldn't be happier with the tone the florals set in the reception space. Our ceremony florals were equally as gorgeous, delivered to St. Joseph's in York, PA. I planned my wedding from afar, and Colton was so easy to work with - spot on, very professional, and the florals/design was affordable. Our JDK venue coordinator, Lexi, was incredibly helpful after a staffing transition - she swooped in about two months before the wedding and helped place the finishing touches on our design, including finalizing our linen colors, ordering chargers and velvet napkins. It was so helpful to have JDK handle those rentals instead of outsourcing another vendor myself. Lexi was thorough and made sure our personal decor was set up perfectly at the venue. Our ceremony was offsite, so it was such a relief to arrive at The Bond and have everything set up and looking gorgeous. I finally want to note that the food is fantastic - our guests are still raving about the brussel sprout lollipop butlered hors d'oeuvres, the handmade guacamole station at cocktail hour, and our margarita signature cocktail. The venue, food and esthetic did not disappoint! Highly recommend JDK Catering and Weddings by JDK for your wedding at The Bond or elsewhere! -

We had our baby shower at The Bond, and the venue was perfect! The place was gorgeous and had the perfect vibe to bring our vision to life. The facilities were spacious and well-maintained. I would 100% recommend having your event whether it be a shower, wedding, or anything else here! -

Amazing Event Space for Baby Shower!
We hosted our son's baby shower at The Bond in July, and it was absolutely perfect! I was a spacious venue that allowed for a free-flowing event! All attendees felt comfortable and relaxed in this downtown venue! I would recommend this for your next birthday party, mitzvah or shower, this space is more than just for weddings! -

We had our ceremony in the outdoor garden area and it was so beautiful, then we had the reception inside. Everything went great, the food and staff were amazing, and the venue was so cool. We got compliments on it all night. -

I am still talking about our day like it was yesterday. EVERYTHING was so amazing. The staff, the food, the building itself. Everyone treated me like a QUEEN and they did such an amazing job working with us to ensure our day went off without a hitch. Through the entire process, start to finish. Even when we were late to meetings, everyone was still patient and kind. I would use this venue for all of my future events but my wedding here was even better than I imagined. I would recommend The Bond to everyone. -

We had our wedding at JDK’s location, The Bond, and it was nothing short of amazing. It was everything we could have wanted for our wedding day!! From our initial tour of the venue with Alanna, we knew we were in good hands working with the folks at JDK, everyone was so nice and welcoming and made us feel special! Emma was our appointed contact and she was awesome!!! She helped guide us through every step of our planning process and kept great communication throughout our months leading up to the big day. Our wedding day, I’m still speechless with how seamless and professional the entire JDK group is. Everything was so stress free for me as a bride, I could focus on my hair and makeup and photos all while JDK is setting everything you’ve been imaging all in the background almost without a peep - and it was exactly everything we had talked about that came to life. Everyone definitely knew what they were doing and we were in really good hands. We were able to enjoy every second of our wedding with no hiccups. If we had to do our wedding all over again we’d def go with JDK again and recommend them for any couple that’s looking for a great team of people to help make your special day a dream come true. -

I got engaged in November 2019 and have dreamed of my wedding since I was a little girl! I am from Maryland and the majority of wedding venues in my area are barn and rustic style. I knew I wanted a more glam/ industrial venue but most were over my budget or in the city of Baltimore with limited parking and offered very little services included. When we toured The Bond I knew it was where I was going to get married. Most industrial venues I had toured before seemed cold and didn’t feel like a wedding venue. The bond has beautiful chandeliers that create a romantic and classic vibe that I had been looking for. The Bond has a free parking lot across the street where guests can park and don’t have to worry about their car during your event! The bond also has BEAUTIFUL murals out back that make for great wedding photos!
My wedding was planned for November 21st but like most brides in 2020, Covid had other plans. Emma Santana, Director of sales, made pushing back my wedding a breeze and I had no issues securing the same weekend in 2021.
My mom unexpectedly passed away in July of this year just short of four months before my wedding and made going forward with my wedding seem impossible. Emma was compassionate and more than accommodating when I needed to push back my tasting. Once we were finally able to have the tasting Sam, who was the event coordinator for the day of my wedding, and Emma met with us and made the experience so wonderful. The food was AMAZING and somehow tasted even better the night of our wedding! How is that even possible?? To most people wedding food is just that but JDK’s catering is mouth watering! My guests raved about the mashed potatoes and chicken served at dinner and my husband still talks about the firecracker egg rolls that we served during our cocktail hour.
The day of my wedding was perfect! The bond allowed for my bridesmaids and I to get into the venue early so we could have our hair and make up done in time for our 3pm ceremony. Sam was there the entire time and made my wedding vision come to life! She was professional, kind, organized, and has such an eye for detail! She filled and set up all 100 floating candles, and vases that I bought to line the isle with and repurposed them in the reception space to compliment the rest of my romantic and classic vision (which I know was not most fun or easiest task). She also set up the memory table for my mom perfectly and although my mom’s presence was missed deeply, her spirit was felt the entire night! I can not say enough good things about Sam! The whole team was efficient and dependable allowing me to relax and fully enjoy the night. The night was a dream and I had the time of my life celebrating and dancing with our family and friends! The only thing I can complain about is having to load all of the decor back into our cars right after the event, making us a little late to the after party. We didn’t have the option to come back the following morning so just make plans for that if you are doing a lot of your own planning and decor! The staff made it go as quickly as possible and helped load it all so it really wasn’t a big deal!
I can not recommend The Bond and the JDK team more if you are looking for a wedding venue!

The Bond + JDK: A CaseStudy in Wedding Excellence
We were smitten with The Bond almost immediately upon seeing it and we had a great first impression of the staff and potential of the space. The Pandemic, unfortunately, brought about a series of staff turnovers, but JDK was always transparent, respectful, and communicative about any changes. We had the greatest privilege of working with Emma Santana at the end, and we could not have asked for a more genuine, intelligent, sweet, and tactful Venue Coordinator. Emma was there to reassure us every step of the way that we would get the wedding of our dreams. We had to postpone three times because we kept getting our hopes up and let down with each new severe state regulation. However, Emma represented not only professionalism for JDK but also our best interests. She was responsive and efficient with all requests, inquiries, and details. When the day finally arrived this past October, we were happy to have her present and our day went off without a hitch. The food was definitely one of the reasons we were interested in commuting 2 hours from our residence, and boy-oh-boy, they knocked it out of the park in both the tasting and the special day. The Chef also kindly accommodated our interest in showcasing a few Brasilian appetizers and late night snacks which were made incredibly well. We had great bartenders who also mastered the Old Fashioneds and Caipirinhas. We loved that this was a BYOB venue so we could bring diverse drinks. On that note, also, JDK and Emma are so passionate about their field and treated us exceptionally well, permitting us to be both creative, theatrical, and minimalist in our decors and dress attire, never once judging our nontraditional selections. A bonus is how our Coordinator, Miss Lyss Planning, also worked well with them and synchronicity was important for us. We wholeheartedly recommend The Bond for a unique, industrial venue and there aren’t enough words in the dictionary to praise Emma and JDK for their exemplary service. We are sad that we won’t have a chance to work with them again but we wish them continued excellence and hope to cross paths again in the future.

My husband and I visited 8 venues in the York, Lancaster, and Harrisburg area. The Bond was our last stop, we definitely saved the best for last! We immediately fell in love with the venue and not just because it is a beautiful space but also because of Megan Sellers, the venue specialist. It was immediately apparent that she put more effort into her couples than any other venue specialist. She listened, asked questions, took copious notes, and was honest. Megan went above and beyond to help us customize our packages and pricing. She was very responsive and organized throughout the planning process. Leading up to the big day, we had a family emergency which lead to last minute changes. Megan not only jumped in to help us figure out the details but also was very compassionate. The Bond is lucky to have her representing the organization. You will be hard pressed to find someone that will take better care of you on your wedding day. Also, the serving staff and bartenders were outstanding. They were respectful, attentive, and moved quickly in the background to ensure our guests had an amazing time. The food experience at the Bond/JDK was also phenomenal. They offer so many great options at great prices. They even customized hors d’oeuvres so we’d have our favorite food on our wedding day. So many of our guests told us that this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The Bond is completely indoors, however the murals in the surrounding area give you ample locations for beautiful outdoor photos. All of our expectations were surpassed by the Bond, Megan, and JDK. We truly couldn’t have had a more perfect wedding day. -

Everyone that we worked with at The Bond was amazing. All of our guests could not stop talking about the food, and how beautiful the venue was. The Bond also included a ton of "free" extras like vases, wood stumps and candles. Our photos turned out amazing as well because the venue just has this unique warmth within an industrial space. -

Incredible Wedding Location
We got married on October 4, 2019, at the Bond, and we had an incredible experience from the planning to our actual wedding. Megan, Venue Specialist, worked with our planner to make our wedding more than we could have ever imagined. We live in Baltimore, but it was worth the drive to the Bond! The food with JDK is great and the menu is customizable. They even allowed us to include our 13-year old Pomeranian in our ceremony. The staff who worked at our wedding were also super friendly and accommodating with our guests. Without hesitation, I will happily recommend going with the Bond for your upcoming wedding or event! -

1 million stars!
I began planning our wedding with noooo idea on how to even begin. We knew we found a beautiful venue (The Bond Events- York, PA), but everything else was left to imagination. We worked with Megan who was the Venue Specialist and all I can say is-WOWWWW, she rocked! She made the entire process feel effortless and took a huge role in making our big day happen. Her bubbly personality, sincerity, knowledge, and flexibility gave us such a great experience. She was easily accessible, kind, and deserves national recognition for all that she does! We are continuously hearing from our guests how beautiful the venue space was and how amazing and attentive ALL of the staff were! The staff truly exceeded all of our expectations and deserve the highest recognition possible. There is no doubt in my mind that we picked thee best place to have our wedding and will remember all of the wonderful experiences we had! The Bond will always hold a huge place in my heart! -

If it were possible to give The Bond 10 STARS we would. My husband and I chose The Bond for its location and style but we got so much more than that. Megan was beyond amazing and helped us with everything, from the big things all the way down to the little things. We didn't feel an ounce of stress when working with Megan and her team and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue. The Bond took care of everything the day of and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The food (provided by JDK Group) was amazing, by far the best food wedding food we've ever had. The Bond ensured that the guests were taken care of as well as my husband and I. We have had so many people complement us on our wedding, specifically the venue. We would hands down recommend this venue, without a doubt!!! -

The bond is an absolutely beautiful venue and unique. If you’re looking for a space that’s versatile in looks, this is it. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They pay attention to detail and make your wedding so stress free. Well worth it, and it’s great they work with the JDK Group because they add little details and offer a range of options to choose from for literally everything. -
Laura Sent on 09/29/2018I can’t say enough great things about this venue. The team at The Bond and the JDK group made our day perfect! The floral team lead by Colton went above any beyond to provide gorgeous florals and design elements to make the style just as of pictured. Everyone was so easy to work with and the wedding coordinators were worth their weight in gold. I was not the most hands on bride, and they kept me on track and took on a lot of responsibility to coordinate the event and our other outside vendors.
Overall execellent experience and beautiful outcome. I’d recommend this venue to anyone! -

Abby asked us questions I never considered to make sure that our wedding was a reflection of us and our style. She was there as well as my wedding planner to make sure the day was smooth and was always positive and upbeat during our meetings. It was a perfect fit because we could have our ceremony and our reception at one place and it made it easier for our guests! I highly recommend this venue!!

Not only was the venue absolutely beautiful, the food the best our guests have ever had, and the location convenient for our 200+ guests, but Abby and The Bond team made the entire experience a breeze for my husband and I. They worked within our budget and delivered the day of our dreams. We cannot say enough good things about this venue. Thank you to Abby and her team for everything.

Jean Sent on 06/09/2017My husband and I were looking for a venue that had a Brooklyn/Industrial feel. I couldn't believe this venue exists in York, PA. The venue is gorgeous with amazing bridal & groom suites. Their tables & chairs have modern yet sophisticated look to them and it really served as an empty canvas for us to decorate the venue to our style.
We used JDK Florist for our venue greenery backdrop for our ceremony, bouquets and boutonnières. Erika did an amazing job and I cannot thank her enough for creating such masterpiece. Working with the venue coordinator, Abby Roche, was a pleasant experience.

Nikole Sent on 12/04/2017Everything was absolutely beautiful! The staff was very pleasant and courteous! I didn't have to worry about a thing on my big day because they handled it. There was a personal server for us while we took pictures so we didn't miss out on the cocktail hour. Although the price was a little more than we had planned, you get what you pay for and I would fully recommend this venue to anyone!

The Bond was the only venue we needed to look at because we just knew this is where we wanted to get married. From the industrial vibe, the exposed brick, and beautiful chandeliers this venue is all that and more. Shannon was absolutely PHENOMENAL and made our experience amazing. Andrea was well organized and helped to come our nerves when a previous venue coordinator backed out the last month. The food was DELICIOUS -- we still have guests talking about the fried chicken and short ribs. Clean up was a breeze, and we didn't have to lift a finger. I cannot recommend The Bond enough! -
