    A perfect day with a Wonderful company!! They made everything great. Their attention to detail really surprised us, we didn't expect that out of our photographers. You should choose Kellie and Brett for your event. They were the best and our guests thought so too, and our pictures...are PERFECT!!! So many favorites and the best part, I get to keep them all!!!

    I can't even begin to tell you how much I LOVE Kellie's work. I will most definitely be contacting her for all my future photography needs, and I HIGHLY recommend her to all my friends and family. She helped me get through my big day with my sanity relatively intact, which was no easy task.

    Kelly was wonderful to work with. She knew what I was looking to get out of my pictures and how I wanted to remember my special day. I enjoyed Kelly's enthusiasm.

    We booked our photography with Kellie and Brett Gillis. Both are incredibly professional and really show they care about every last detail. We even booked our photo booth through them. Brett and Janna were our photographers for the day and they did an outstanding job with every last detail. We had so much fun with them and they made us feel so at ease while taking all the formal shots. They knew that
    I really wanted to keep the formal time short and sweet so we could get to the reception and enjoy it with our guests. They accommodated every request we had and made us feel so comfortable.

    We were given our scrap book from the photo booth attendant at the end of the reception and were happily surprised to find that all of the photo booth shots were included on a disc in addition to all the strips. We watched the video the day after the wedding. It was so great to watch of all our friends and family put on the crazy props and have fun with the pictures. It was quite hysterical.

    Kellie Gillis with The Big Picture Fine Art and Photography has become not only my wedding photographer but my life time photographer and life time friend. She truly cares about her clients and goes out of her way to make her photography tell the story of her clients. She is fun and bubbly and brings a joy and light into a room as soon as she walks in! She has truly walked held my hand through this journey and captured every wonderful moment as it happened. She has taken the edge of the painful separations from my then fiance and my now husband (due to being in military world) and created so many smiles and tears of joy! I couldn't imagine my life and future family without her and having her capture every moment! THANK YOU Kellie for being apart of my life and being the reason I can look back and smile at all the amazing moments you have created and captured!!!!!

    We used Kellie for our engagement photos and our wedding photos. She is fun and full of energy, which helped to keep me happy and relaxed on what can be a stressful day. She went above and beyond on our wedding day, helping to keep everyone organized so that everything went very smoothly. She helped to fluff my dress, pin boutineers on the guys, make sure everyone stayed hydrated, gave me little peppermints when I needed a pick me up. She really went so far above and beyond what you would expect and I felt like she truly cared about us and our day.

    Kellie & Brett were amazing on the day of the wedding. Made us feel comfortable and made sure everything went smoothly. Unfortunately, it seems as if they over book themselves. The Big Picture has a hard time keeping up with communication, and delivering their products in a timely manner. We were definitely disappointed with the length of time it took to get any pictures back. They were very nice, but it seems like after they got our money, they didn't care.

    I wish I would have read the reviews before choosing these guys. I didn't sense that anything could go wrong when I met them. They were so outgoing and seemed like they had the wedding photography at Pioneer Village down to science. The wedding happened without a hitch. And then, after the dust settled from the wedding it occurred to me that I hadn't heard from them. I'll spare you the blow by blow, but it took several emails requesting an update on the pictures and three delivery attempts of a certified letter threatening to sue before Kellie finally delivered them to us. That was exactly 10 days before our one-year anniversary. We are just floored that a couple who appears so genuine and down-to-earth could be so careless with other people's money and treasured memories of one of the biggest days of their lives. I feel we were used for our up-front payment so they could just jump to the next up-front customer. It's a complete lack of integrity. Despite the quality of the pictures, I would not recommend The Big Picture. It's not worth the stress trying to pry the pictures from them.

    I got married in the beginning of 2015, and it is now nearing the end of 2017. Everything seemed awesome at the beginning of this business relationship. She was great for our engagement pictures and on my wedding day. However, I STILL DON'T have my wedding album after 2 YEARS. I paid over $3,000 for their photography services. I feel ridiculously taken-advantage-of. It's almost impossible to get honest communication from her on the rare occasion you can even get a response.

    Nothing but empty promises on when my husband and I will receive our album. It took 5 months to even be able to view ANY of the pictures ONLINE. On the rare occasion that she responds to either my husband or myself, she just says something along the lines of, "oh I'm just so busy! It's almost done! I'll get back to you later this week." Then nothing. I'm so fed up!

    Although they were nice on the day and took some decent pictures, I am not impressed. It took about 6 months to receive our pictures and took almost 9 months to receive our video. I was constantly trying to contact Kelly and was continuously left unanswered. The video (which we paid extra for) was VERY low quality and was extremely disappointing. Not only that, but they cut out my brother in law walking my husbands grandmother into the church but managed to get EVERYONE else. These are two people that are very important to us and it’s too bad we don’t have that in our video, a special moment to us. To say the least, we are not happy. Seems like they overbooked so I would not suggest using this company.

    Kellie given full amount for package in exchange for free engagement sitting.-Pd by check to receive free prints. Took 3 contact attempts & 26 days post-payment to get appt. for shoot on day 57. End of shoot, promised photos in "2 wks" so save-the-dates could be sent. Received "sneak peaks" 39 days post-shoot after contacting her 3 times. Proofs we were told to download were low res, grainy, pixelated, color & lighting issues, composition probs. Took 64 days (not 2 weeks) to receive 2 semi-edited, low-res proofs; we were told we would receive 20 finished photos. 2 proofs e-mailed after we asked for refund. She stated 2 proofs "off the clock" as e-mail sent explaining how upsetting lack of customer service was. Offered her $100 for her time as she advertises $99 shoot (includes 15 photos, not 2) in hopes we could move on.-Gives her 9 months to rebook date; we could find photographer better suited to our needs.
    Refund requested as we never received products (photos/prints) or contract. She claims contract mailed after we pd. If true, lost by USPS. She accused us of refusing to sign. If true, we wouldn't have asked for it 5 (documented) times. She claimed she was e-mailing us through editing software saying we were only clients not receiving e-mail. Contact w/customer service of software co. revealed e-mail is not a service they provide. Given excuses for lack of communication/product delivery: I get 50 e-mails, calls, other/day & don't remember who I've talked to; I don't have a secretary; This isn't McDonalds; Your concerns aren't emergencies; Patience is a virtue. We also have e-mail where she admitted she "didn't know why" photos didn't turn out.
    Refund requested 6 x's before taking her to small claims court 269 days post-pay. Hearing officer commented photos were poor. Won case. Kellie filed counterclaim stating we owed her $15 per download for unfinished engagement proofs we were told to look at. "Fee" NOWHERE on web, nor was explained via phone, texts, etc

    Do not use this company. They were an hour late to our wedding. Half our guests left before dinner. It took over a year to get our photos and they all look like crap since it's dark out due to how late they were. The wedding video looks likes it's shot on a phone. Once they get your money they don't care about their customers. Find a different company or you will be sorry.
