They rocked our wedding!

HANDS DOWN - the best decision we made was hiring the Benjamins for our wedding! They had the dance floor packed the entire night - which was exactly what we wanted! They played a variety of music which was perfect for everyone there. We got so many compliments from our guests about how amazing the band was and how great they did! We had them do our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and the trio performed our after party. At every portion of the wedding - they crushed it! The trio was phenomenal for our after party and we wish it would have gone longer because they were so good! We would hire The Benjamins 1000x over without a question! We are so grateful for how amazing they made our wedding!!!

Best wedding band ever!

The Benjamins made our wedding reception!! All of our guests would not stop raving about how well they played. I had a second look for my wedding and didn't want to leave the dance floor so I completely forgot about it. We had their sax & pianist for our cocktail hour, and their 8-piece band for our reception. They even let my father-in-law get up on stage to perform with them! Joe (lead singer/owner) and Dennis (MC/drummer) were also super communicative during the whole process and answered any/all questions I had. Thank you so much! We had the time of our lives thanks to you.

Incredible wedding band!!

We first saw The Benjamins at a friends wedding, and we immediately knew we wanted them to be our wedding band. Once we had found our venue, we reached out to them immediately to get them booked! We had a great experience working with them on the set list and figuring out all the details before the day. They were communicative and very responsive to our questions and requests.

At the wedding reception, they absolutely crushed it! All of our guests loved them and they had people dancing who I didn’t even know ever danced! They always played the right song at the right time and mixed up our requests really well; from oldies to more recent hits. We would 100% recommend them. They are amazing and anyone would be lucky to have them play at their event!

Perfect wedding last night

My niece got married last night and she had The Benjamins performing at the reception. Not only were they fantastic musically, but they were absolutely kind to my daughter and her new friends who became their groupies for the evening. I even found my daughter hanging out with them during their breaks - but they could not have been warmer and more welcoming. So not only are they able to keep the party going, they went out of their way to give my daughter a fantastic first concert experience. Thank you!!

The Benjamins are the best!!!

The Benjamins absolutely rocked our wedding!!! They brought amazing energy that had the dance floor packed all night long, which is exactly what we wanted! We especially loved that they played lots of 90s-2000s pop punk songs that are our favorite, and they incorporated our requests! We would book them again in a heartbeat!

The PERFECT wedding band

Choosing a band for our wedding felt daunting to my husband and I! We had a list- 90s grunge for him, a few wedding dance tunes for my parents, and some really talented musicians to live up to our standard (as I am a music educator and many of our guests were professional musicians). The Benjamins checked every.single.box. No song request denied, from ceremony to the end of the night 90s mash up to wrap up the end of the party- what a FUN band! Since our wedding many people have gone to other events have said "they had a band, but it wasn't the Benjamins!"

Wedding Rock Show!!

Everyone should book the Benjamins for their wedding! Our guests are still talking about how great The Benjamins were. They certainly know how to pack the dance floor. We even had to move our Sweetheart Table back to make more room! They took our requests and crushed it. Dennis, Joe and Mike were a pleasure to work with and made our postponement a breeze. The Benjamins were everything we wanted from a band and more. The ceremony and cocktail hour music was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. The reception was absolutely amazing thanks to The Benjamins. They had everyone constantly on the dance floor and made the party unforgettable. Amazing night! Knows how to read the crowd

The Benjamin's know how to throw a party! They were absolutely amazing and the party started and ended with them making the dance floor light up. We had them help with ceremony, cocktail hour, & dancing the night away. The MC Dennis was so fun and funny to the crowd and they just really knew how to shift the day around with any timeline hiccups that happen. They made the day the party that I wanted. The Benjamins were the 1st booking because my husband and me had seen them countless times prior. This is an easy YES to add to your wedding.

Don't hesitate to book!

Book them!

Awesome experience with the Bejamins. Really worked with you on pricing and still getting what you want. Huge list of songs to choose from and you can request to hear others. Our guests raved about DJ and the band. Their MC Dennis is so funny, makes you feel comfortable and listens to what you want but also gives great advice. Our dance floor was packed the whole night!

Absolutely amazing party!

Would highly recommend the Benjamins! They did such a good job with our wedding, we received so many compliments from our guests on cocktail hour (we had acoustic guitar) and the reception. We also had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID and they were so great to work with, putting all of their weddings at a higher priority than their personal shows. We so appreciated the time and attention they gave us and helped make our day so special. Really fun vibe and they played music that fed off of our crowd (we gave high level input on things we liked / didn't like and they did a great job!).

The best part of our wedding!!

My husband and I have seen The Benjamins play at the bar where we met so many times over the years. And when we started planning our wedding, the most important thing to both of us was the band. We knew we wanted music that everyone could dance to and that kept the dance floor packed all night long.

Well, The Benjamin’s exceeded every expectation that we had! No one left the dance floor the entire night!! Joe and the team completely understood the music we were looking for - 90s and 00s with some songs our parents would want to dance to - and knocked it out of the park. We had SO many people tell us the Benjamin’s were the best wedding band they’d ever heard. Everyone was chanting “one more song” at the end of the night and of course the Benjamin’s delivered :)

Packed dance floor!!

My husband and I have seen The Benjamin's perform at multiple bars and we make a point to go to our favorite LBI beach bar when they are there. As soon as we got engaged 2 years ago our friends all jokingly asked if we were going to have them play at our wedding- I'm SO happy we took their idea seriously. The Benjamin's kept the dance floor upbeat and PACKED the entire night (even aunts, uncles and grandparents were dancing!) Communicating with them was so easy and we loved how personalized they made the entire experience. 10/10 would recommend!!

One word : amazing

If you’re looking for a band that will put on an amazing show and your guests will rave about for days to come, book The Benjamins! Not only did Dennis and Joe really walk me through all the details beforehand since I was so lost and overwhelmed, but they took our rather small list of requests and curated an amazingly perfect show. So many of our guests were on the dance floor that a second dance floor formed in the back of the reception! They joked with our guests, had the room laughing, cheering, and singing, and truly captured my husband and I with a flawless performance for our wedding. Should we ever have another big event, The Benjamins will be there !

Our favorite vendor & band

If you’ve seen The benjamins play at a bar, you know what a good time sounds like. This was our very first vendor we booked because we love hearing them play! The entire band is amazing and a dream to work with. Every email was responded to, and they were so positive throughout the entire process. They nailed every song requests we wrote down, and kept the crowd alive and dancing. I never wanted the night to end !!! We received endless compliments. Also, Dennis (the drummer) is also the MC, and he is hysterical. Our phone call to go over details got me so excited and he kept me laughing the entire call. His positive energy played a huge role the day of and he kept everyone laughing. Along with every other member of the band, you’re all AMAZING!

Worth every penny!

Highly recommended! My husband and I have been fans of The Benjamin’s for years. I grew up listening to their music at local bars. When it came time for our wedding, there was no question that we wanted The Benjamin’s to be a part of it. The band is extremely personable and easy to work with. We had the acoustic duo for the cocktail hour and they set the tone for the rest of the party. People were raving about The Benjamin’s before we even entered the reception. From beginning to end, our guests did not leave the dance floor. They offer a variety of genres and played exactly what we asked for. We couldn’t have been happier. It was definitely a night to remember.

Incredible! Will 100% make your wedding!

The Benjamins were absolutely incredible and made our wedding! We had their pianist for the ceremony, solo acoustic guitar for cocktail hour and the complete 8 piece band with horn section for the reception. Highly recommend the horn section! The whole band absolutely rocked! They have a huge song selection and with both a male / female singer they can really diversify what they play. Our package also came with a DJ MC that did all the introductions and announcements which was awesome! During dinner they will have the DJ play a genre of whatever you want. There will seriously never be any dead air and if you hire these guys I promise you the dance floor will be bumping. Furthermore, they simply run a great business and are extremely professional. The point of contact, Joe, was extremely responsive and diligent. If you want to have a wedding to remember I highly suggest the Benjamins and if you can, definitely go with the complete 8 piece band. You'll get more than just a wedding band I promise. You can tell these guys / gals really care and want to make your big day special.

Best decision ever.

BEST DECISION EVER. Our wedding was legit the most epic concert and the music was incredible!!! The Benjamins offer so many different packages and given COVID, we went with an Acoustic Duo + DJ for our cocktail hour, then transitioned to a Trio (2 Guitarists and Drummer) + DJ for the reception. The band literally has 1000+ songs to chose from --- however, we were unique in that we did not want any cliche wedding songs and requested all 90's alternative, jam band, grunge, rock songs and they EXCEEDED our expectations. During the reception we request on-the-spot System of a Down's "Chop Suey" and The Benjamins were so flexible and immediately tuned their guitars to the right key and NAILED IT. Not only are their voices incredible (Joe's range is insane)... but they are extremely talented guitarists. Their song arrangements were freaking awesome (we had an acoustic version of a Cascada song). Also, one big aspect to wedding planning is having everyone ask you what your doing for music... and the second I told friends/family we hired The Benjamins -- I never expected all the positive/excited reactions from everyone already knowing or seeing them live at shows. I can go on and on... so worth it. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Best band to hire in NJ

For our wedding we wanted live music as opposed to DJ. We did a lot of research on different musicians within the state. After checking some of these bands out and communicating with several we decided to go with the Benjamins, due to how impressive their live performances are. After booking, our originally planned venue wedding was canceled due to COVID, we had to settle for a smaller backyard wedding. Joe (frontman of the Benjamins) was extremely professional on working with us on accommodating our requests and working with us despite the changes (date, venue, performance type). He was also prompt on his communication with us throughout this process. We ultimately decided to change the performance type from a full band to a solo acoustic performance, which we were originally disappointed about, due to a much smaller guest list. Then came wedding day and the reception, where Joe was absolutely amazing. He mixed in songs we had previously requested with songs that he felt were appropriate to get the party going. Not only were his songs great, but his stage presence kept our guests engaged throughout the evening. Everyone at the wedding raved about how great Joe was. I could not recommend anyone more than Joe and the Benjamins. We were so impressed that since the wedding we have already hired the Benjamins for a future event. If you are looking for the best in this field, look no further.

The best band! Like a private concert! No regrets!

I've been going to see the Benjamins at bars for almost ten years! My husband and I saw them on one of our first dates and are still in awe we were able to get them for our wedding! They are so nice, accommodating (even during covid) and super talented! We knew what we signed up for, (a fun night with awesome music) but it was so reassuring when our guests said they had a great time and the band was amazing! Molly has an amazing voice, Joe knows how to get the crowd energized and Dennis can make anything happen! I HIGHLY recommend The Benjamins if you like today's hits, country music and a good time! We'll forever be thankful for making our wedding perfect!

This is the best band you can possibly book for your wedding! They Are amazing no matter where they play whether it’s a small bar huge club private party. Amazing local cover band, turned wedding band!

I had been following The Benjamins for years since college, and I discovered they did weddings too! My fiancé and I didn’t plan on having a band at our wedding because we thought the budget would be out of reach, but I inquired anyway, and these guys we super reasonable! Best decision we made! I can’t say enough great things about this band, and Joe personally as our point of contact. He was always available to discuss any concerns and even spent a good 2 hours on the phone with us and our planner the week before our wedding going over the specifics of our “less than traditional” venue. Come our wedding day...they truly made the night! We are still getting compliments about our band! We still see them out at bars whenever chance we get, and they always make the time to say hi. Truly a class act! Recommend them 100%!!!

So much fun

We booked the Benjamins after seeing them perform at a wedding, and had SO much fun. They did not disappoint for our wedding - we filled out their song form online but when we talked to them, we really gave them free rein and trust to play the right mix of songs for our crowd. The dance floor was packed all night, and we received so many compliments on the band and the DJ, Dennis. They truly know how to keep a party going!! Highly recommend The Benjamins!!

Best Wedding Band Ever!

The Benjamins were the best decision we made throughout the wedding planning process! We had seen them perform at bars from Hoboken down to the Jersey Shore many times before so we already knew how incredible they were, but they ROCKED our wedding beyond what we could have ever imagined! The weeks leading up to your wedding can be very stressful, but the Benjamins are the epitome of professionalism and reached out well in advance to assure us they were ready to go and we had nothing to worry about! They made us feel so comfortable day-of that we felt they had been our friends for years just there to celebrate our special day. We had a wide variety of age ranges and the Benjamins had every single person on the dance floor from their first song through to their last. They were open to requests and extremely flexible with us and our guests. They made our big day unforgettable and we would hire them again in a heartbeat! Wedding Band

It all started years ago when I would watch the Benjamin's play at a bar. Fast forward a few years later, I booked a venue for our wedding and contacted The Benjamin's the same day. That was one of the best decisions we could have made! They absolutely were awesome and easy to work with. They had a lot of energy and excitement and had everyone on the dance floor all night! They played all of the songs that we wanted and were very accommodating. They were also very personable which made us even more excited for the day of! The best band of all time

Rewind two years ago, my cousin brought me to see the Benjamins at a bar. I had no interest in booking a band for my wedding but I went anyway. They were absolutely amazing that night and I booked them the next day. From that night and for two years leading up to the wedding they were consistently amazing every time I saw them out and our wedding night was no exception. The dance floor was packed from the minute they started until the very last song. The Benajmins were able to keep everyone from our friends to the oldest people attending our wedding entertained and on the dance floor all night long. They play a great variety of songs for everyone. I am still hearing from people about how much fun they had and how amazing the band was. Even my dad who was skeptical about not having a traditional wedding band was on the dance floor and said to me that night how amazing they were. Through out the whole planning process Joe was absolutely amazing, You can text him at any time and he gets back to you right away and reassures you that everything is going to be great, and he was right. We asked him to learn our first dance song, Grow Old by Florida Georgia Line, and he absolutely rocked it! I also have to shout out Dennis (the drummer and MC/DJ) who was also so amazing to work with. He called me a few weeks before the wedding to discuss entrances, songs, etc. He was so easy to talk to and promised to make everything fun and smooth and he pulled through. He had all of the guests laughing at his intros and little jokes here and there. He also kept the dance floor packed while the band was off. Last shout out goes to Molly who did our cocktail hour. She was absolutely amazing. She has the most beautiful voice and played a great variety of songs. So many people were coming up to me at the cocktail hour complimenting her and saying they had never been to a cocktail hour with such great music. Lastly, if you want to add a piece I definitely recommend Bobby on the keyboard! He was amazing and really entertaining! No need for a lengthy review here. I can sum up this band in one word...AMAZING!

From start to finish, the music at our wedding was fantastic. Old, young, and everyone in between was on the dance floor. It is not hard to see why this band is as popular as they are. Dennis, Joe, and the rest of the band really made our wedding memorable and I could never thank them enough! Don’t waste another second...book this band!!

Best Band Ever!

The Benjamins made our wedding!!! We hired them to do our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and we couldn't be happier! I cannot express how much fun we had because of them. People are asking us what occasion we can hire them next for. The dance floor was packed all night, they know how to keep a crowd moving and were so chill when it came to our rowdy guests. We worked with Joe throughout the whole process and gave him full reign. My only criteria was keeping everyone up and moving and they delivered!!! If you're looking for an awesome band that is the full package stop wasting your time and hire the Benjamins!!!

Must have at your wedding

Everyone that attended our wedding says that was the best band they have ever seen at a wedding. We knew we had to book the Benjamins after watching them play at bar americana. They performed an acoustic 5 piece during the reception and absolutely nailed it. From the moment they started our family and friends were on their feet. Joe and Dennis are very professional and very responsive. We told them what types of songs we like and let them do their thing. Dennis was a perfect MC. He is very entertaining and can naturally get the crowd going. We were amazed by the performance of the Benjamins and have been recommending them to everyone we talk to.

Drop everything you're doing and book this band for your wedding now!

I do not even know where to begin this review! This was by far the best investment we made for our wedding. We had the best time...as did our guests!
Our wedding ran like clock work thanks to their impeccable planning and attention to detail. They even worked with the best man last minute to play one of our favorite songs. The timing was perfect. I did not leave the dance floor...even when the band was on break - their playlists were epic and the party did not stop! The songs they played were perfect and they truly pay attention to the party to see what song should be played or skipped! we had guests of all ages and the dance floor was PACKED the entire night.
Thank you Joe, Dennis, and the rest of the Benjamins for making our wedding PERFECT!!!!!!!!!

Amazing Performance!

Amazing Band!

If you want to have a wedding where all of your guests have fun and don't stop dancing you have to hire The Benjamins! Our guests couldn't stop raving about how much fun our wedding was thanks to their amazing musical talents! They know just how to get everyone up on their feet dancing and keep them there! Best wedding band of all time

MOST AMAZING WEDDING BAND! The Benjamins MADE our wedding the most fun, rockin', amazing time. Everyone, young and old, was on the dance floor ALL night! Seriously, there was not one lull in the night-- everyone was dancing and having the best time. The song selection was perfect. They played all of the songs we wanted to hear and they sounded SO good. Seriously fantastic musicians! Every single guest raved about them. From start to finish, working with the Benjamins was super easy. They are professional and damn good at what they do. I can go on and on but I think I hit it-- our wedding was fantastic because of them! If you want everyone to have the time of their lives at your event, The Benjamins are a MUST!

The Perfect Wedding Band

The Benjamins are AWESOME! We found them because they play at a local bar in our town. Everytime we ever saw them we always had a great time so we knew they needed to the band that played at our wedding. We dealt with Joe and Dennis. They were both helpful and made sure that we would have the perfect playlist for our special day. I needed particular songs and Dennis was able to find them and add them to make sure they were played that night. The music was perfect. My guests and I did not stop dancing the entire night. They brought an energy and sense of fun that made the night so amazing. I cannot say enough about The Benjamins and can’t wait to see them perform again. If you are reading this review in search of a wedding band, look no further. The Benjamins were absolutely incredible at our August wedding!

One month has passed and people are still talking about their performance. Friends who had seen them before were so excited to hear they were playing our wedding. And the few guests that had not heard them before were instant fans. The band got our reception party started immediately and got everyone on the dance floor. We did not stop dancing the entire night. It was everything we had hoped for and more!

The Benjamins were incredibly easy to work with throughout the entire planning process, as well. I never had any doubts that our requests would be filled and that our guests would have a great time!

Thank you to Joey and The Benjamins for helping make our we wedding such a memorable occasion!

Absolutely amazing, had the 4 piece band for a 40th birthday backyard party. Besides sounding great and nailing every request we had, they were true professionals and a blast to be around. The band literally went on in the pouring rain as our phones were vibrating with flash flood warnings. Didn't skip a beat!!! All ours friends are still buzzing and awaiting the invite to the next party. Where can i begin with The Benjamin's? I cannot say enough how truly amazing this band is. From start to finish, the music at our wedding was ON POINT. We filled out our preference sheet, and Joe & co. did the rest! Every single song had all of my guests on the floor. There was not a moment when my guests were not dancing. They truly knew just when to play what song. You can put your 100 percent full trust in them. People came up to me all night complementing how truly amazing they were. They even let my sister get up with them to rap Ice Ice Baby, which was a total hit. Dennis - the drummer and MC- killed it as well. They truly made my wedding a night to remember. We have enjoyed seeing the Benjamin’s play for about the past 5+ years starting at Joe Pop’s in LBI and continuing throughout New Jersey! When it came to picking a band for our wedding we had no hesitation that it would be the Benjamin’s! We called them immediately to make sure we could book them for our big day! Joe and Dennis were such a pleasure to work with and answered every and any question we had. Their energy and passion is something you see the minute you’re in their presence. They put on such an amazing show at our wedding and truly made it so special! They knew exactly how to keep the party going and made it special to us by playing songs they know Parker and I loved. Our guests are still talking about how spectacular the music was and how the dance floor was never empty! We were fortunate enough to book our music with the benjamins and they really kept the party going! Joe and his crew were absolutely amazing to work with! They answered any questions we had, got back to us quickly when we needed to reach them and were just incredible people to work with. We had a really big wedding and wanted to do out best to please everyone in the room. The benjamins did just that. They included all genres of music and the dance floor was always packed. They did acoustic music for our ceremony, an acoustic guitar and piano as well as male and female singer for the cocktail hour, and for the reception we had the full 8 piece band. It was insane how fast everyone would get out of their seats when the music started. The first dance, father daughter dance, and mother son dance were done by the band as well and they sounded exactly how we wanted them to. They were involved with the crowd, let us on stage and just kept the party going all night. I got so many compliments after the wedding and am recommending them to everyone I know looking for the best band in new jersey!

We planned our entire wedding around the availability of The Benjamin’s. I have been going to see them for years...best band ever!!!!
I wanted a friend to sing at my ceremony and Joe was so accommodating to meet and rehearse with her.
The energy that the band has is incredible!!! I highlighted a few favorite songs but let them go with what they do best, they feed off the crowd.
Joe is responsive to any and all of your needs up until the day of your wedding!!

We have been following the Benjamins for a while now, and we always said that when we got married — they would be the ones to create the soundtrack for our day!! Well, that day finally came — June 3rd 2018. We booked the Benjamins for our wedding without hesitation because we knew it was the best choice we could have made and we were SO right!! We left our playlist TOTALLY in their hands — trusting them to play off the crowd rather than micromanaging. They did SUCH an amazing job, everyone was out dancing from young to old. Every single guest complimented us on our choice and said they only wish we could have danced and rocked out longer!! Dennis the drummer was our MC for the night and he was lively and funny and kept the crowds attention. Our wedding Day was perfect, I would not have changed a thing... and I attribute a very big part of that perfection to the Benjamins, because they set the stage for an amazing, fun-filled, High energy night!! Absolutely unbelievable wedding experience with The Benjamins. We had them at our wedding Memorial Day Weekend and they were the absolute hit of the party. Guests were coming up to us all night and in the days afterwards and saying that they were the best wedding band they had ever seen, and we agree!

Dennis was super accommodating with all of our requests (and there were a lot - sorry Dennis!) and worked with us to make sure it all went off without a hitch. He was an amazing MC and DJ (and drummer!) during the event and nailed everything we asked of him. He took the time to chat with us several times prior to the event and reviewed, multiple times, the exact order of events for the night, it was wonderful and we felt like we were in good hands.

Joe was also extremely helpful in planning the whole event, from the ceremony music, to the cocktail hour music, he was in constant contact with us leading up to the event to make sure that we had everything setup the way we wanted it. They even took a special request for ceremony music and they able to accommodate it with flying colors, it was absolutely awesome. Joe also did an amazing job of working with me during the reception to make sure that everything was going according to plan and making sure that any on-the-fly requests were handled right away. It was far beyond what we expected.

Their management team (We worked with Chriss) was super responsive, super clear and super helpful throughout the whole process. Any questions we had were answered right away and with perfect clarity.

If you've ever been to one of their shows, you will know how amazing their energy and quality is, and they brought that same energy to our wedding, everybody had an absolute blast and my groomsmen danced so hard their pants were torn to shreds. It was a magical night and it would not have been as amazing if it weren't for The Benjamins.

The Benjamins are the BEST band and possibly my favorite part of our wedding day (minus marrying the love of my life, of course). I wish I could put into words how amazing this band is. The number of compliments that we received on our band is endless – people could not stop talking about how great they were! We even had friends that loved them so much they went out to see them in Hoboken after the wedding! After the initial conversation with Joe, I immediately was ready to book the band – Joe was easygoing and funny and not only did the band sound awesome, I knew they would be a fantastic time! We went out to a bar to watch them perform and we had a blast, my dad thought they were so great that he even came out with us again to see them a few weeks later! Throughout the months and weeks leading up to our wedding, Joe was extremely responsive with any questions and very organized with presenting how the reception would play out. During our reception we were running a little behind schedule due to the length of some speeches and Joe suggested cutting out the acoustic section and extending the set which was perfect since the dance floor was packed the entire night! I would recommend The Benjamins to any couple who wants to have fun on their wedding day! Their music and energy was incredible and I cannot thank The Benjamins enough – we had so much fun and we truly did not want to leave the dance floor all night!!

I have been a fan of the benjamins for years! They are by far the most energetic and talented band that plays at our local bars. As soon as I booked my wedding I reached out to them. From that minute on they were complete professionals. Joe was always quick to respond to questions. When it came time to finalizing the playlist and the timeline Joe and Dennis spent hours on the phone with us. They have so much experience so they were able to tell us what worked and didn’t work at other weddings. The night of our wedding they ROCKED. The dance floor was packed the entire night. We didn’t do a sit down dinner- and many people didn’t ever leave the dance floor. Guests were constantly RAVING about the band that night and my phone has not stopped ringing telling me the same thing. I am a musician myself and I can tell you I have never seen a better wedding band. I have even been to weddings where my friends paid over 20,000 for their bands... the benjamins were so much better than those! After getting engaged my fiancé and I put together a priority list for our wedding and near the top of that was an awesome band or DJ. We wanted the dance floor to be packed all night. Living in NJ for so many years, the Benjamins stood out from all the times they preformed at the local bars. From there we pickup up the phone and talked to Joe about our wedding, our date was available, and the rest is history. Joe provided us with several options and details for our wedding that made it fun to plan. On top of the Benjamins 3 set performance, they provided us with a DJ for the entire night. Dennis was awesome, before the wedding he prepped us perfectly to ensure our entrances, speeches, and music were amazing. The night of our wedding, Joe came up to my wife and I with a little surprise for us and it was to tell us they added an extra piece to the band for the night since he was not feeling 100%. You would have never know that cause they did not miss a beat all night! It was so much fun to work with The Benjamins and we can’t thank them enough for providing amazing entertainment for our wedding and for keeping the dance floor packed all night. We still have friends and family taking about the band at our wedding and telling us they want to see them again. Although nothing will top our wedding performance, we can’t to attend an event with the Benjamins in the future.

The Benjamins played at our wedding on 10/6/17. After going to see the Benjamins at Joe Pops in LBI for years, we knew we couldn't have our wedding without them! Joe was super helpful in helping us arrange an acoustic guitarist for our beach ceremony, and even brought a mic for our officiant. We had a keyboardist for cocktail hour, then after that Dennis the DJ/MC/drummer extraordinaire got our intros and dances started smoothly. Once The Benjamins got started, no one left the dance floor the entire night and all of our guest had a blast! They were super accommodating, played all our favorite songs, and closed out the night with Rage Against the Machine. Literally nothing could have been better--can't wait to see them again this summer!

Would give them an even higher rating if possible! We had our ceremony off-site so they provided us with music during the cocktail hour and reception. Fabulous acoustic during cocktail and dinner and a PARTY during the last few hours of the reception. Because they also have a DJ as part of their group to cover songs during the band's sets, we really felt like we got the best of both worlds. Our guests didn't stop talking about the band for weeks. They were really easy to work with, made us feel at ease, and were really great at reading the crowd and getting people dancing. We had a full dance floor all night - would highly recommend!

The Benjamin's played our wedding at the Laurita Winery on 11/18/17. I knew when I was planning my wedding I wanted a band. The 1st band I thought of was the Benjamin's. I have been going to bars with them all across NJ from Hoboken down to the Jersey Shore. They are always a fun time! Joe and the band always put on a great show and make it a blast. They were so easy to work with and knew exactly what we wanted. From the acoustic singing by Joe during the cocktail hour to the reception they were amazing! They knew how to get the party started. The dance floor was rocking and everyone had a fantastic time. They played everything we asked for and even ended with our party favorite Scotty Doesn't Know! Our friends were so excited about that as it was a group favorite. Everyone has been telling us about how great the band was ever since the wedding. I totally recommend them, you won't be disappointed! If you are in NJ, look up their schedule and go see them play at the bar. You will see first hand how great they truly are!

I can't put into words how amazing The Benjamins were. From the gorgeous piano playing during the ceremony to the mesmerizing acoustic guitar during the cocktail hour to the upbeat, nonstop dance party at the reception. Pure excellence!!! The whole team was very easy to work with and played the songs we requested. But the icing on the cake was surprising us with letting my now husband's sister play a song on the guitar with them! I knew I didn't want a "wedding" band so when I saw them play in Montclair last summer, I booked them instantaneously. The Benjamins performed at our wedding on 11/11/17 at Crystal Springs Resort (Grand Cascades Lodge) and it was the GREATEST experience of our entire lives. I can't even put into words how UNREAL this band is. From the second our bridal party walked in, the reception turned into the most epic dance party ever. Each and every song they chose was perfect, between the cocktail hour acoustic, to Joe's dinner solo session, to the dance party sing alongs. Joe was so great to work with and made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. Dennis (the DJ, MC, and drummer) was also awesome to work with and got the crowd hyped before we even walked through the door. Our family and friends were SO SO impressed and can not stop raving about how much fun they had (seriously, they won't stop talking about you guys). I can't say enough good things about this group. DO NOT look anywhere else. I have seen cheesy wedding bands and this is the complete opposite of that. You will have the greatest wedding experience ever. I would not even consider having any other band or group! I can't wait to see how many of my guests choose to have The Benjamins at their own weddings, because of the amazing time they had at our wedding. My guests could not stop talking about how much fun the band was and how good the music was all night. The band played a perfect amount of old and current music.

Joe and the team was amazing to work with! Joe was very responsive to my emails and very helpful answering all my questions. Dennis- the MC /band drummer was phenomenal. If there was anything I wanted he made sure to make it happen.

I highly recommend hiring The Benjamins to perform at your wedding, you will not be disappointed!!!

The Benjamins were by far the best part of my wedding! From the acoustic guitar playing as I walked down the aisle, to everyone rocking out on the dance floor during the reception, everything was perfect! The Benjamins played at our wedding on the beach last weekend and they made the night for us!! We have heard them play numerous times before and they fit exactly what we were looking for. The Benjamin's rocked it at our wedding on 9/03/2017! They were absolutely amazing, my family and friends are still raving about them and what a great time they had at our wedding. The Benjamins played at our wedding on July 30, 2017 and were absolutely amazing! Joe & team were flexible, prompt in responsiveness & worked with our budget to help us include the horn musicians that we really wanted. They really cared about what we envisioned for the soundtrack on our wedding day. They played a great mix of oldies, country, and today's hits to appeal to both young and old PLUS they came with a DJ, who is also their drummer! Having Dennis also be a DJ made it possible to have all the songs we requested played, even if they weren't on the band's playlist. They kept the party going ALL night and the dance floor was never empty! Our family & friends raved about them & said it was one of the best bands they have ever seen at a wedding. Joe and the rest of the band were so accommodating; they even let my husband's cousin play the drums with them for a few songs! We honestly can't say enough about them & how amazing they were for us. If you want a band at your wedding I honestly wouldn't even consider looking anywhere else. We want to get married all over again just so we can have a dance party with them! We are thrilled that we chose them to to create the soundtrack for our BIG DAY!

The Benjamins just played our July 16th, 2017 wedding. We had a rock concert themed wedding, and let me tell you, this band is better then some of the bands that charge hundreds or thousands of dollars to see them in concert. This band is amazzzzzingggggg. The guys are top notch musicians. They can play any type of music you want. They are not only incredible artists, but some of the nicest people we have ever met. Our guests came up to us ALL night saying they were phenomenal. Two of our guests already said they must book them for their own events. I swear i would get married all over again to hear these guys play. Honestly the best part of our wedding day!!!!!! I would give them a rating of 100!!! Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!!!

We just had The Benjamins play at our wedding on July 1, 2017. Choosing a band for your wedding can be a daunting task. But as soon as we saw The Benjamins perform live in Hoboken (based on a friends recommendation), we knew we had our band. We didn’t even consider anyone else. And they were the first and only band we even looked at! They have awesome energy and sound amazing! The Benjamins were fantastic to work with. They are professional, friendly and they made the whole process leading up to and including our wedding day stress free. Our daughter wanted to sing our first dance wedding song and Joe arranged for her to come and rehearse with the band 2 weeks before the wedding so things would be just perfect on our wedding day. Many of our wedding guests are already making plans to go see The Benjamins play down at the Jersey Shore, ourselves included! We would hire them again in a second without even thinking twice. We didn’t want our wedding to end just so they could keep playing and we could keep dancing! We would get married all over again just to hire the band again. I stumbled upon The Benjamins 6 years ago at Donavan’s Reef in Sea Bright while taking engagement pictures on the beach. I fell in love instantly. My husband and I booked them for our wedding a few weeks later. I was so excited for anything that dealt with my wedding so I went to see The Benjamins play occasionally at venues by us. They always played an amazing show; our friends loved them. Our wedding was perfect. The Benjamins had the dance floor packed the entire evening and we received phone calls and texts for weeks from our guests telling us how much fun they had at our wedding. We loved The Benjamins so much that we then hired them for my birthday party, my mother’s surprise birthday party and my husband’s surprise party. We have hired The Benjamins 4 times in the past 5 years and they were amazing every time.

We had The Benjamins play at our school 80's themed big fundraiser. They were FANTASTIC!! They mixed the DJ and the band perfectly to match what was going on at the event. They played plenty of 80's music to work with our theme but also worked in plenty of present day music as well to keep the whole crowd pleased! They were extremely professional, fun, flexible! We just had the Benjamins play at our wedding this past Friday April 28th... they were phenomenal! We were so glad we had them play! Our guests loved them and a lot of them said they would love to go see them again. They also had a DJ with them which was a plus because we had the best of both worlds. The Benjamins played at our wedding on April 7th and it was absolutely OUTSTANDING! They blew everyone away with their incredible talent! After the wedding was over everyone was raving about how amazing the band was. Some were even already planning to go see them play in the future!! Bottom line, people were amazed by them. The benjamins performed at our wedding and did not disappoint! Joe performed an acoustic cocktail hour solo which was a huge hit! We were running about an hour behind schedule due to logistical technicalities which was not a problem for the band. Almost 8 months later people are still raving about their performance. When my wife and I were deciding on choosing a band, we went to a few shows in our area. Joe and other band members took the time during their set breaks to answer all of our questions and were extremely personable and accommodating. To top off our experience, we asked the band to learn our wedding song so we could have our first dance to a live performance which was an immediate yes response and they knocked it out of the park for us. If anyone is considering the Benjamins for their event, don't bother trying to find anyone better! One of our event planner guests even booked them for an event during our wedding she was so impressed. Class act and awesome job guys! Thank you so much for making our wedding day amazing.

To start, with a budget-crazy fiancé, I thought I was always fighting uphill to get a band. I took her to see several bands and the Benjamins stood out way above the rest in every aspect from lighting to song selection to stage presence. What clinched it was the fact that the lead singer, Joe went out of his way to greet us every chance we got to visit, and remembered our lone request six months later to close out our wedding. Honestly, don’t even waste your time looking at other bands. This is it. Just from our short conversations and judging our crowd reactions they knew exactly what to play at the right time. I couldn’t tell you the amount of guests that came up to me asking where we found them. When it comes to wedding music, the one thing we didn’t want was just background music. They certainly made their presence felt. Everybody was on their feet enjoying themselves… including me and I NEVER dance. In the end it was my wife thanking me that I convinced her to hire them. It completed our perfect night.

We booked the Benjamins before we booked any other vendor, after seeing them live and hearing them play their awesome cover of Brown Eyed Girl. Joe was with us every step of the way, to help us create an evening that was seriously the best of our lives. Joe played an acoustic set with his sax player at cocktail hour (and during dinner) that really added a special touch to our celebration. They invited my brother up on stage to let him jam on the electric for a bit....a special moment for everyone.
Dennis, the MC, was in touch weeks before the wedding to make sure everything was sorted before the big day. I feel as though we all really got to know each other throughout the whole process, which was made more evident by the perfect vibe they created for us and our guests. The lighting and sound was spot on and everything was taken care of for us. Amazing talent and my top pick for anyone looking for the perfect band.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to have the Benjamins play our wedding this summer at the Rock Island Lake Club. I had been to see them countless times in the North Jersey area and knew that having them play my wedding would be outstanding. I certainly was not disappointed. They took care of our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music. The band worked with us every step of the way to select the perfect ceremony music and instrument. They also did a fantastic job at our cocktail hour.

The crowning moment, however, was definitely the reception. My wife and I, and our families, cover a wide range when it comes to music preference. As a result, we decided to have the Benjamins band and their DJ alternate sets. It was without a doubt, perfect! We provided a list of pop, hip-hop, 90s, Spanish, and everything in between, and they performed and mixed it better than I could have ever imagined. If the music was playing, the dance floor was full!

Our wedding was in July, and every time someone mentions it, one of their first comments is how amazing the music was. People always say that guests remember the food and music from weddings, and the Benjamins were certainly unforgettable. They were worth every penny, incredibly professional throughout the entire planning process, and amazing on our big day. My wife and I cannot thank them enough for adding to an already perfect day. I can't say enough to express how great they were, and I would certainly recommend them to anyone who asks.

We were fortunate enough to have The Benjamins play our wedding. I can go on and on about their entertainment value...just go see them LIVE and you'll understand our decision. With that in mind, I'd like to focus on what makes them special.

From the very beginning, communication was great and they were on top of every detail. The engineer even offered to come out to the venue weeks earlier and scope the setup to ensure we were happy. The MC kept in contact to guarantee all the details were in place. But more than anything, it was how the band truly became an intimate part of our wedding.

They never said NO! The band offered to learn three acoustic songs for the ceremony. Joe participated in my speech with a big laugh (intended), the band learned a special song for the Father/Bride dance... AND...they let me hit the stage and sing Everlong behind the full group...allowing me to live out my Rock and Roll fantasy! Pitchy I'm sure but too much fun and a big surprise for my wife.

In lieu of me micromanaging the setlist, and they offered, I asked that they just do what they do...grab the temperature of the room, adjust as they go, and keep the crowd going. They delivered on every point and I highly recommend this approach.

On top of it all, as a special request Jenni dressed up as a 40's pinup girl and even sent my wife pics beforehand to ensure she was cool with the look. SHE WAS!

Guys, budget aside, I know many go back and forth between DJ and band or "traditional" wedding band and The Benjamins. I can tell you, been to three weddings in the last 4 weeks, ours being the last, and 4 others this year. Amongst our friends who married, and all came to our wedding, I can assure you they are all having buyers remorse...they told me so!

I highly recommend hiring The Benjamins for any event...you WON'T be disappointed and neither will your guests! It doesn't matter their age or size of the event...everyone LOVES to ROCK!

AMAZING!!!! The Benjamins played at our wedding this past weekend at Congress Hall in Cape May and I seriously can't even explain how great they were. To be honest I originally was leaning toward having a DJ for our wedding because I am not really a band person. My parents were the ones who really wanted us to have a band and after some convincing I asked around a little. I received multiple recommendations from friends and our photographer to hire the Benjamins. I am so happy we decided to have the Benjamins as our band because it was literally one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Our friends and family can't stop talking about how great they were (some have already looked up dates for when they are playing to go see them) and the dance floor was insanely packed all night (more then half the wedding had no voice the next morning from singing along with them). They have an impressive song list that you can choose from and they really play off the crowd to make sure everyone is having a blast. Even one of my parents friends who never dances at weddings actually got up multiple times to dance because they were that good. We also had them play an acoustic set for cocktail hour which was so awesome and they have a DJ who MCs the wedding and plays music during their breaks. Absolutely perfect, seriously can not say it enough if you are looking for a super fun band to play at your wedding I don't think you could find one better then these guys!

these guys rock the house - let them do their thing - and just enjoy the show.
wedding bands are cheesy - boring - and read off ipads - these guys (and gal) are a rock band.
putting them on wedding wire is a disservice to what these guys can do. I seached long and hard for a band that could rock the house and I was lucky to find these guys. you wont be disappointed - plus they are fun to be around as well

The Benjamins were everything we were looking for and more for our wedding band.

During the planning, they were quick to respond to emails and thoroughly answered every question we asked with honesty. I never went more than 24 hours without hearing back from them, and that was very much appreciated during the crazy wedding planning process. As for the day of, they were absolutely amazing.

They played an acoustic set during cocktail hour, which was great. They have a male and female singer, both of which are so talented. Guests made a point to ask me who they were, which meant they were enjoying the music. Some guests already knew and made sure to tell me how excited they were that they were playing the reception, which made me feel even better about our choice.

During the reception, the dance floor was never empty. Even when the band took a break, the DJ (who is a part of the band when you book them, and he will do announcements, play dinner music, play break music, and even play ceremony music if you need it) made sure people were still out there having a good time. This was huge to me because people having fun at my wedding was my number one priority, and they made sure it happened.

My favorite thing about The Benjamins was that they actually took the time to learn our wedding song and play it for us for our first dance. Our song was “We Belong” by Pat Benatar, and they played the most beautiful version of it I’ve ever heard, and we were both absolutely blown away. We had a blast dancing to our song, and it was even more special than we could have imagined.

Anyone looking for a band should seriously consider The Benjamins. If you want a fun wedding with the dance floor packed, incredibly talented musicians, and the added reassurance of professionalism, The Benjamins are a great choice.

This band is amazing!! They told me not to worry about a thing because they had us covered, never could I imagine just how INCREDIBLE this band really was. They played as we walked down the aisle, through out our cocktail hour and then the full band emerged for our reception. NO ONE was sitting in their chairs! With each stage of our wedding we were getting compliments about their performance. They are unique in the fact that they have both female and male vocals which creates such diversity. They were truly a professional act and made our wedding so special, fun and unique.

The word AMAZING just doesn't cut it when it comes to The Benjamins!! The band truly made the wedding magical. From the piano cocktail hour, to performing our first dance, and all the way to the last song.. It was perfect. Our wedding was filled with musicians, so needless to say, the music was truly the soundtrack to the evening. The energy level was up to 11 that night! So much so, that at one point there were 15 musicians up with the band singing!! From the very first chord to the last note, the dance floor was filled. I would recommend them to anyone. They also played our cocktail hour as a 4 piece acoustic band and hired out a violinist for our ceremony. We couldn't be more pleased to have chosen them for our big day.

We got married on April 30, 2016. The Benjamin's played at my sister's wedding in November 2014, so once my now husband and I were planning our own wedding it was a no brainier who to choose for our wedding band. Joe did solo acoustic guitar for cocktail hour and it was the perfect choice to set the mood. The band was outstanding and at times we felt like we were at a concert. All of our guests raved about how awesome they were and many of our friends have seen them play before at local bars so everyone was excited to hear them play. Everyone danced the night away. I honestly have never seen the dance floor at a wedding packed all night like ours was. They even did a special request for us, "Ocean Avenue" by Yellowcard. It brought my husband and I back to when we met as teens and I know that all of our friends were so excited to hear it. The mix of songs between the band and the dj, Ted, were awesome and we listened to oldies, pop songs, and everything in between. Not your typical wedding band (which is a great thing). Working with everyone was professional and so easy. Thank you all again for an awesome night!!! We even have friends getting married this year that are thinking of using them because of how incredible they were.

The Benjamin's are an incredible band, through and through, and were one of the best aspects of our wedding day. Their professionalism, attention to detail and talent are second to none, regardless of where you're located. I couldn't give a better recommendation to a vendor.

The Benjamins were INCREDIBLE! We were stoked they were even an option and they worked with us to get everything we wanted at a price we could afford! My only complaint was the DJ that came with them. He basically ignored every single direction I gave him prior to the wedding and the night of. The Benjamins rocked though and at one point when the DJ refused to play a song I wanted, they opened their last set with it (and were better than the DJ playing the song anyway).

We knew we wanted a band for our wedding that would have our guests out on the dance floor all night and The Benjamins were the perfect fit for us! We wanted a band that wasn't you typical "wedding band" and we wanted it to just be a party. They were amazing! Jeremy was so helpful is assisting us with all of the planning and he was so patient with us through the process. They even pulled through at the last minute for us when we needed sound equipment for our ceremony! They were the perfect entertainment for our wedding and we would highly recommend them!!

My husband and I heard The Benjamins play at a bar and loved their sound and energy and were so excited to have them play at our wedding. They sounded amazing at the wedding and had everyone young and old up and dancing the whole night. My husband and I didn’t leave the dance floor! They played a range of music that appealed to all of the guests. Their energy makes you never want to leave the dance floor as you’re in fear of missing another great song. The next day at breakfast, all the guests kept telling us how much they loved the band and how great they sounded. Our wedding was two months ago and we are still getting compliments on how fun our wedding was because we had such an awesome band. The Benjamins are absolutely the best and are a must have for your wedding if you want great music and to see all your guests dancing!

I want to start out by saying how awesome it was the have the Benjamins at our wedding! They were AMAZING! We went to a friend's wedding a few years back and fell in love with the Benjamins. From then on, we always went and saw them out and always had a blast. When we got engaged back in April 2014, we knew we NEEDED them for our wedding June 2015. Knowing that, we booked right away. Leading up to the big day, Jeremy was always great getting back to me and answering any and all questions that I had. Then we get to the wedding at Addison park...we couldn't have asked for anything more. They played an amazing selection from our song list and our guests had a blast- everyone told us how much of a great time they had! Our dance floor was pretty big, but it was always filled with people when the Benjamins were on.. I know my husband and I couldn't get off! They also played a variety of songs to get everyone interested, which was definitely key. We couldn't be happier with our wedding day music!!

I had the Benjamins at my wedding and they were amazing!!! Everyone was up and dancing the whole time and really enjoying themselves. I have gotten so many compliments on my band. I didn't want the typical boring wedding band like so many people have and when I saw that the Benjamins did weddings I was so excited and knew I needed to have them at my wedding. Even before my wedding, my guests were so excited that they would be performing. They even learned little red wagon for me and they did a great job.

By far one of the best decisions we made was booking the Benjamins. Everyone still talks about how great they were. They had the entire wedding up and dancing the entire night and played a wide mix of music so that everyone enjoyed themselves. Do yourself a favor and book them. You won't regret it!

The Benjamin's were fantastic at our wedding this past weekend!! If your looking for a fun, current and professional live band for your big day - book the Benjamin's.. you won't be disappointed! My only complaint would be that my feet hurt so badly b/c I couldn't sit out for a single song! Was having too much fun to sit one out :) danced every song they played! They were the perfect band for our wedding night and I thank them so much for adding to our very special night. THANK YOU!!!!

We hired The Benjamins to perform at our June wedding this past year. These guys absolutely knocked it out of the park. Their professionalism from the very beginning was an A+. They were willing to meet prior to engagement to discuss song selection, they gave multiple pricing options (which we actually thought were very reasonable) and were overall great to deal with during the contract process. As far as the actual wedding experience---AMAZING. We had our wedding at the Liberty House in Jersey City and if you are planning on getting married there (or anywhere else for that matter), you have to at least talk to/consider these guys---they have played at the LH multiple times in the past and the venue suits the audio/sound perfectly. We also had a cocktail hour piano player as part of our package which we thought was a very cool option. They had a thorough list of music that can accommodate all age groups and they are willing to entertain requests even if they aren't on their play list (extremely flexible). Their packages also basically throw in a DJ/MC who did all of our intro music (again very flexible) and acted as MC and kept the music going between sets. Day of the wedding these guys were again extremely professional. They were set up properly and ready to go and the music sets were fantastic. Definitely kept the crowd going (all ages mind you) the entire night. People barely sat down the entire reception and the sets just got better and better throughout the night. My guests still rave about the music at my wedding. So if you are looking for an energetic, musically diverse and extremely talented band, these are your guys. These guys are true professionals---they perform all over the east coast, they play music almost every night, and are tireless workers and the experience reflects all of this. Do yourself a favor and hire the Benjamins for your wedding entertainment.
