She is amazing

She came out to the Brakefield at Riverwalk in Rock Hill walked in that bridal room and made all of us look like models. My pictures came out perfect because my face was well done. She gave me a natural look and we were laughing and crying and kissing everyone all day and our make up, still looked good! She is a miracle worker! She a magical Fairy! Thank you! Chef Tara

Incredible job!

Meliha did my makeup, along with 8 bridesmaids and mothers (12 of us total). She was so professional, efficient, timely and did a stunning job on all of us! I highly recommend booking her for your wedding!

So Talented!!

Meliha did an incredible job on my makeup, as well as all of my bridesmaids. She is such a talented makeup artist. I fell in love with my makeup trial, and she was able to replicate it perfectly on my wedding day. My bridal party was so happy with their makeup as well! Highly recommend Meliha!!

Trully a Fairy !

Meliha is simply the best professional that you will ever meet. Her team is amazing and they will come to you on your wedding day and make the getting ready part of your day seem like a girls day at the best SPA in town. They are friendly and sooo professional. But the best part is her work, LADIES OH MY GOD! she can transform Shrek into Fiona seriously! She is the Goddess of the makeup world AND she does hair too! AND she is amazing AND funny. Hint: give her a vague idea of what you want and let her work her magic, because she isn't the Beauty FAIRY by chance!

Beautiful and Professional Work

Meliha and her associates are incredibly talented and professional. Compared to other makeup artists I was looking into, her prices are very fair and her team made every single woman in my wedding party look stunning! She was easy to communicate with and when our wedding was postponed due to a hurricane, she was flexible in rescheduling with me as well. I had several compliments from my bridesmaids on how her team was efficient and they even finished earlier than anticipated! Our venue was outdoors as well but our makeup lasted all night despite the heat! Would recommend Meliha every time :)

Meliha was absolutely AMAZING. She did my makeup for my engagement party. Honestly, she impressed me so much. I was looking for a simple look yet elegnant, and that is exactly how she made me look. When she showed me the end result, I was lost for words. She is truly a fantastic artist.

Meliha literally ROCKED me and my bridal party's makeup! I was beyond happy and felt like a princess on my wedding day. My sister had Meliha do her makeup for her wedding two years ago and I knew there was no one else I wanted to book for my very own wedding.

I wanted a look that was statement but not too over the top, and what she came up with was absolutely perfect for my middle eastern wedding. She is not your average makeup artist, she puts time and effort into your vision... I told her I wanted a glam look, and she executed flawlessly. My whole family and all my friends were over the moon with their looks. She even made my 75 year old grandma look STUNNING.

Thank you so much Meliha.... if you want to look your absolute BEST for your big day or any other fabulous event, you won't regret booking Meliha and The Beauty Fairy team!!!!!

I loved working with Meliha. She made me feel absolutely beautiful and did an amazing job on me and my bridal party! Getting heavy wedding makeup can be a bit daunting but Meliha made sure I felt comfortable and made me look like a princess! Highly recommend the The Beauty Fairy!

Meliha and her team were AMAZING to work with. Not only did she do a wonderful job on our hair and makeup, but she was incredibly easy and fun to talk to which made the entire experience even better. I was SO nervous about fake eyelashes after seeing some bad pictures of girls on Pinterest (not from Meliha), but boy did she change my mind about them. They looked natural, beautiful and she made me feel so much better about wearing them since it was a new thing to me. For someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup she provided the perfect amount of advice and expertise. If I could do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing. I highly recommend that you hire Meliha and her team if you want the best bang for your buck. She'll give you exactly what you want, exactly how you want it.

I had my wedding hair makeup done by the Beauty Fairy and I felt so gorgeous. My mom had both done as well. We don't usually wear much makeup or style our hair, so help was definitely needed for the wedding day. Meliha and her assistant did a fantastic job, they work very hard to make sure every hair and spot of makeup was perfect. I felt like a model that day, I would definitely use them again!!

Simply put...Meliha is the best. I can honestly say I have never looked or felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day thanks to her skills. I threw some last-minute changes her way and she dealt with them with ease and professionalism. The makeup and hair she did looked amazing both in real life and in the photos. Plus, she is so sweet and easy to work with. Her assistant, Winter, also did a fantastic job on my bridesmaids and the mothers. I am so grateful to Meliha and her team. I can't recommend The Beauty Fairy enough.

I have never worked with someone who was so talented, so kind, and so beautiful inside and out! Meliha and her amazing team are worth way more than she charges. Meliha truly is a Fairy! I wish I could get married all over again just to work with her :)

Meliha is an amazing makeup artist. When I went for my trial, I was very impressed at her ability to replicate what I envisioned, while adding a flare that made me love it even more! She was prompt, on time, great at listening to my requests, and professional yet relaxing and fun! When she was finished on the wedding day, I couldn't have imagined a better look! Melih is very sweet, kind, and accomodiating. She is able to take what you are looking for and transform you into queen. She has the ability to see what works for you and let you know (in a respectful manner) what doesn't. She is very talented eapecially when it comes to the ethnic exotic looks but can also successfully deliver a natural elegant look as well. I recommend her to anyone who comes my way,

Meliha was amazing. She worked with me on everything, including squeezing in a last minute hair and makeup trial for my engagement shoot. We did hair and makeup for the bride, bridesmaids, moms, and grandmother, so it was a lot of work. We were a very mixed group, and she and her assistant did a fantastic job working with women with different backgrounds and different hair and such. Even our styles were very different. We had traditional, rock glam, another bridesmaid played up her nordic roots with viking braids... All in all, I couldn't be happier; having the hair and makeup artists come to you is one of the best decisions you can ever make for your wedding.

Meliha was great!! She was always professional and well informed. She was easy to work with and understood exactly what I wanted. She was on time and prepared. I love that she comes on site. As early as our ceremony was I would not have been able to use a salon and her prices are similar, however she is probably more experienced because she specializes rather than offering the wide service menus salons do.

Meliha was fabulous! She is very professional, knowledgeable, and very nice to work with. She did the make-up for the bride (my future daughter-in-law), my mother, my son's girlfriend, as well as for me before our son's wedding. It was so easy planning from 3 states away, and she made sure that she had a practice session with the bride 2 mos in advance. Meliha runs a tight ship, so to speak with great professionalism and pride. She worked out a time that worked for us, and then was off to take care of another wedding. We all loved her work on each of us. She listened to our wishes and concerns, tailoring her work for each individual. Meliha also arranged a stylist to come and do my mother's hair and mine - she, too, was very professional and did a great job. They were easy going, with no stress, and helped keep the event light. I highly recommend Meliha for make-up for any event!

I couldn't have chosen a more perfect hair and makeup team for my wedding day! Meliha and her team from True Beauty Zone are professional, flexible, dependable, and most importantly, extremely talented at what they do! Meliha's makeup artistry skills are unmatched and my makeup (as well as my bridesmaids and mother's) looked absolutely flawless and we received endless compliments throughout the night! Tatiana, who did my wedding updo, was able to make my hair looked exactly how I envisioned it, which was absolutely perfect! For my wedding I had about 15-20 women in my wedding party who needed to get there makeup and hair done so we rented a room at my venue where Meliha and her assistants could provide makeup and hair. Everyone had nothing but positive things to say. The makeup was incredible and dramatic eyes like everyone wanted. They worked so fast so no one was waiting around. I definitely would recommend true beauty zone to anyone and everyone. Meliha is an awesome person to work with so professional and incredibly talented!!!

Meliha and her associate were absolutely wonderful! My hair/ makeup person cancelled last minute and I found True beauty zone online by chance. They are quick and efficient in communicating / getting schedules set. Their skill sets are amazing and quick too! I was absolutely in every way thrilled with having booked them. Our wedding was outdoors and Mother Nature blessed us with a very windy day, I was a little bit worried about my hair staying in place.... But it did stay through the wind, the dancing, and all the way home until it was time for me to take it out! The make up was beautiful for myself and my bridesmaids, I provided a picture of what I was looking for and got precisely that. Such great and talented artists! Can't go wrong booking with them.

Meliha was great to work with, and it was super convenient to have her come on-site the day of the wedding. I loved my trial and day of look! The other makeup/hair artist she brought with her was not as great. She got the job done but not everyone loved the way their hair/makeup turned out. To her credit, she was very responsive, so when we voiced that we weren't as happy with how the look turned out, she did her best to adjust.

Fast and friendly hair services

Everyone warned me that hair and makeup runs late on wedding day, but that was not the case at all! Meliha was ahead of schedule. I booked her for hair only. She gave me the dream wedding look without a hair trial. We planned our wedding from AZ and she was able to work with us via emails only. Her prices are extremely reasonable for the outstanding service she provides. My hair was completed at 10am and lasted till my wedding ended at 11pm! You will not regret booking her.

Meliha was very professional and listened to what the "look" was that I was going for. She listened to my concerns about makeup being too heavy after the trial and tweaked the concerns for the big day. I enjoyed working with her.

Meliha did an amazing job with both makeup and hair for me twice in the same day that too in complete rush! I absolutely loved my make up and hair. She suggests the best choices which look good and are affordable as well.

Meliha with True Beauty Zone was great! I had previously had a trial with another makeup artist & was less than impressed. I found True Beauty Zone online and went for a trial. I was so impressed with the makeup that Meliha did. I knew this was the right fit. Meliha was able to travel to my venue and do my bridal party's hair, makeup including mine. WE all looked amazing. I really have nothing but amazing things to say about my wedding day hair and makeup services done for me and my bridesmaids for my wedding day! Meliha (makeup) and Tatiana (hair) were so truly amazing, attentive to detail, flexible, nice, listened to exactly what we wanted, and came with all the tools necessary that I have no complaints.I have a middle of the road white complexion, my maid of honor is about the same, my other bridesmaid was darker Italian and then the other was on the more fair side. Meliha had all the right shades of foundation, etc., to accommodate all my girls and we turned out stunning, if I do say so myself. We had the lashes, glitter and long lasting lipstick that all girls in a wedding party wish for. We felt like rock stars and only needed one nose powdering throughout the night, and it was a long night! I highly recommend the hair and makeup services and if you need a trial run on makeup, Meliha did mine for free which is a big help. How can you beat some pros coming to your house/hotel the day of your big day and making you extra pretty? You cant! And while you get extra gorgeous you can sip champagne and sit and laugh with your girlfriends which is a big stress reliever.

Meliha and her team did a spectacular job on wedding hair/makeup for myself and my mother/mother-in-law. The team was pleasant, well equipped, and calm. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and, compared to some other MUAs our there, the services are very reasonably priced. Both my hair and makeup held up beautifully throughout the night, and required virtually zero touchups, except for lip gloss. The only snag I had was when my trial sort of got bumped because of a last-minute scheduling issue on her end. That was a bit frustrating (to feel like although you booked a service, you have to work around a different (bigger) bridal party), but overall, I'm still very happy I went with The Beauty Fairy for this important occasion. Tip: though the trial is optional (and an incremental cost), DO IT. You will almost undoubtedly want to make adjustments to your overall look, and even if you don't, you'll be a thousand times less stressed on your big day if you feel like you know what to expect of your look!

Meliha did my make up for my wedding. It was beautiful and she really made my day! She saved my wedding and made me feel beautiful after a ling stressful morning that day. I got a lot of compliments and everyone liked the look. If you're looking for a good make up artist with reasonable prices.. This is what you're looking for. ;)

Meliha is so talented! I was very impressed during my trial and on the day of! She listened to exactly what I wanted, but also provided suggestions. My bridesmaids were also very happy with their look. Meliha came on site, which was extremely convenient! Her services are a bit pricey, but she is definitely worth it!

It was important to me to find someone who would travel to our location since our wedding was held in uptown Charlotte and we didn't want to deal with travelling through any traffic to get ready.

I met Meliha at her studio and she did a phenomenal job at my trial! I had some reservations about wearing fake lashes because I didn't want to look 'too made up,' but she reassured me. I was so impressed with her makeup application that I asked if I could come back a second time and do a hair trial as well. Meliha had an appointment shortly after mine, but she squeezed me in right then! I have never seen my hair look the way it did when she styled it, it was so voluminous! My fiance loved it!

I also had to contact Meliha a few more times after I booked her with slight changes to our wedding timeline. Most of the time she got back to me right away. She changed her email address during the time I worked with her, so that may have accounted for some delay.

The day of our wedding, Meliha was able to show up earlier than originally planned which was fantastic. There was a little confusion when she arrived, as there was a street festival uptown and she was having trouble finding a way to our parking deck. Things were a little hectic while we were getting ready as there was a mixup with our flowers I had to handle. I felt that she got a little frustrated with me (which is probably my fault...I shouldn't have gotten up to check on the flowers while she was doing my makeup, but I was just very stressed out about it). This bled into the second half of the makeup application and I felt like she was ready to get out of there. She might have just been having a bad day, but It did make me feel bad for a bit. BUT, my makeup and hair were absolutely flawless and stayed gorgeous all night. I have never looked as beautiful as when Meliha did my makeup, and I would recommend her!

The makeup received for the bride in our wedding was perfect. Other hair and makeup artists were brought to do the bridal party, and the makeup was very heavy and not at all the natural look everyone was going for.

Buyers Remorse

I hired The Beauty Fairy for my original July 2020 wedding and had done a trial of my hair and makeup before hand. Then covid19 forced us to postponed our wedding until July 2021. The original deposit of $105 that I made in February 2020 was pocketed and not applied to my rescheduled date. I sent a new deposit of $105 to hold my postponed date. I thought that $105 deposit should have been credited to my balance since covid19 was not anyone’s fault that I had to delay my wedding by 1 year. ( I didn’t cancel, we merely postponed). I didn’t find this out until 5 days prior to my wedding because she fails to communicate timely or accurately. I had asked Meliha if tip was included in her pricing on 3 separate occasions in which she advised me “yes” so what I thought my matron of honor and my family members that wanted their hair & makeup done would pay turned out to be false. (Add 20% to that pricing per service) When I finally got my final invoice 5 days before the wedding (even though I asked her for the final invoice weeks before) she had a 20% gratuity added in automatically to the final invoice. That is when I noticed she did NOT apply my original deposit back in February 2020 and when I questioned her on that fact she was rude stating I postponed and per the contract it clearly states that I will forfeit my deposit if I change the date. (How many other brides had 2020 weddings postponed due to a global pandemic and she pocketed deposits for doing nothing?) she said I was being disrespectful to her and her business & her assistants as they suffered loss of income due to the pandemic! So I guess us brides had to pay for their economic loss by keeping our original deposits!!!

Some of my family members who paid to get their makeup applied advised me that Mehila insulted them to their faces saying they were “too pale faced” and they should go to the beach!! Who says that to a paying customer?

Finally during the trial she promised me she works on her bride’s personally and she has her assistant work on the wedding party. Well my hair was done by an assistant and part of my makeup was started by her assistant, she did finish applying my makeup which was completely different than my trial even though I offered her the picture of what she did for me then. She said “ I got it”. She couldn’t have been bothered to make me the bride happy.

So in closing I can only assume she was not happy about fulfilling and honoring her contract with me so she did a half ass job on me and my family’s hair and makeup.

So if you want to hire The Beauty Fairy for your event be sure you don’t postpone after your deposit is made, don’t question her about her pricing, her 20% automatic tipping or WHEN she will invoice you before your event as she says she is better than most in her industry and most importantly and above all be sure all of your friends and family who want services by her are not pale skinned!

Contract was for 4 makeup only patrons and 3 hair & makeup combined patrons . We were all done in 3 hours flat!!!

I would call that a a rush job! I would not recommend her.

Ridiculous

Would not answer emails for months! Then has the audacity to get upset with me for asking questions. I had emailed her a question several months prior to my wedding and recieved no response. I emailed once a month after that first one just looking for an update. When I finally had enough and told her I was going to use someone else she finally responded in a timely manner to my messages. She got the day of my wedding wrong multiple times and I was so disappointed in the lack of professionalism (and being ignored) that I ended up finding a new makeup artist just a few weeks before my wedding. She refused to refund my deposit because she feels she did nothing wrong. I am so glad I found someone else in time. My second artist was awesome.

I would not reccomend The Beauty Fairy to anyone.

Very unprofessional

Had to cancel wedding 2.5 weeks before wedding due to fiancé getting orders from Army. Was told I was unprofessional for canceling so close to wedding. Does not abide by contract did receive back all the money I was owed only vendor that called me unprofessional. All others understood

I am SO DISAPPOINTED by Meliha. I contacted her 10 months before my wedding. We agreed on pricing and the date. She sent over the contract and asked for a deposit. I signed the contract and sent it to her. The next day, she apparently changed her mind and told me she could no longer take me because "family circumstances" in July of next year and she and her family are going to Europe. Pretty sure they just decided to go on a vacation and leave her clients in the dust. That's not how contracts work. So unprofessional.
