Working with the Barn from when it was just a slab of concrete to the final wedding day was AMAZING. Kelly was there every step of the way and gave us many options to make our day as personable as possible. They provided an amazing space for not only our ceremony and reception but our bridal shower and rehearsal dinner as well. We can't wait to attend our net event at the Barn and get back pictures to showcase just how beautiful the venue truly was. Such a memorable and forever cherished event.

We strongly recommend having your wedding at The Barn at Woods Fort! Our wedding was beyond perfect! Our guests could not stop talking about how gorgeous the venue and experience was. We used Woods Fort as our caterer as well, and they went above and beyond to serve the perfect meal. As someone with extreme food sensitivities, the staff at Woods Fort made sure to prepare a delicious meal that was safe for me to enjoy with our guests. The staff were extremely helpful with every step of the planning process and helped make our dream wedding a reality. If we could go back in time and redo the wedding planning process, we would 110% choose to work with The Barn at Woods Fort again!

Our day was PERFECT and booking The Barn was one of the best and easiest decisions we made while wedding planning! The Barn is BEAUTIFUL inside and out, practically decorates itself. The Barn fits 400+ people but we opted for a more intimate 200 guest list and let me tell you, we had space for everyone and everything! Dancing, live band, cocktail hour, photo booth, lounge areas and more. Never did the venue feel “too big”. Kelly was super helpful to work with and made our wedding vision come to life. From crafting the food/bar menus to selecting the in house decor (major $ savor!) and building the floor layout. Also, The spacious bride and groom suites were perfect to get ready in with our wedding party and they made for great photos! Can’t speak more highly of The Barn and our experience!

I’m having my wedding in fall of 2022. I couldn’t be happier with how well the wedding planning process is going. I feel so confident in the staff at The Barn. They have taken well care of us and have kept us up to date on the building process. We can’t wait to have our wedding at The Barn!

We may have been the third and the largest wedding reception at The Barn, but you would have never known it, because the staff was all SUPERB! Our day was nothing short of PERFECT and WE LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!

We just recently were married on 10/16/21. We chose to have our reception at Woods Fort in the Fireside Room. Kelly was absolutely wonderful to work with from beginning to end. All of our expectations were not only just met but went above and beyond. Two weeks prior to our reception we were invited to the club for a tasting. The food was so amazing we had trouble deciding which to choose. Prior to the wedding ceremony, my wedding party and I were able to get ready in the bridal suite with breakfast sandwiches and drinks. Golf carts were available for us when we arrived allowing us to take beautiful photos on the green. While we were taking photos our guests were enjoying a cocktail hour with appetizers and a signature drink. (Love Martini) Once the reception started Kelly and the staff kept everything running smoothly. We received many compliments on dinner and Kelly was even kind enough to make Joe and I a plate to go knowing we didn't get much time to eat. We wanted an elegant atmosphere, and the linens and tableware were perfect. Kelly kept in contact with the bakery and the flower shop to make sure everything was ready when our guests arrived. I highly recommend Woods Fort for any occasion. We plan on booking our company Christmas dinner there as well.

I am going to make this as brief as possible because no one likes to read really long reviews. However, some things I cannot simply summarize because Woods Fort did such an INCREDIBLE job! (We only held our reception here, not the ceremony, 55-65 guests). This is a review from the bride and groom:

Pricing:
Woods Fort pricing was by far the best around. We inquired with nearly a dozen places and visited a few and Woods Fort was BY FAR the most affordable yet, did not feel like a budget-friendly venue, but it was! We got to choose from different table layouts, stock linens, etc. There were many options for the design of the room including some décor, different colored table cloths, and multiple lengths to choose from. We stuck with all of the ‘included’ options (no upcharge) and it turned out beautifully.
Also, WF got golf carts for us and our wedding party to go out onto the course that day and take pictures with our photographer, free of charge.

Timeline:
I proposed to my now wife on July 3rd, 2021 and we got married and held the reception at WF on September 18th, 2021. And we did not even contact Woods Fort until August 10th, 2021. YES, YOU READ THAT RIGHT, in just over one month we planned with Kelly, the wedding coordinator, and the head chef, Brian, and got the banquet center ready to go. You could tell these two employees really cared about us and made us feel valued. They went above and beyond countless times to ensure that everything was EXACTLY how we wanted it. They were upfront about what was included, and what was not, and what was extra. They made time for us to schedule a tasting of the food (DEFINITELY DO THIS, WE FELT LIKE CELEBRITIES!) We were given ample time to set up for reception

The Room:
We booked the Fireside room and it was plenty of space for our guests (~55-65) for dinner, the toast, dancing, and celebrating. I would confidently say that you could fit 75 -90 people in this space. There was space for the food, dessert, tables for guests, the bar, and a dancefloor.

Food:
The food was one of the HIGHLIGHTS of the day. We were complimented by nearly every guest in attendance (seriously) to which we continued to refer them back to the Chef, Brian, to thank him for the wonderful food. Brian went above and beyond and was active throughout this process. You can tell that he is a professional man that cares about his reputation and how his kitchen operates. The proof of this can be seen in the food! YUM! He also made us a special dessert that was not included on the menu that turned out PHENOMINALLY! You can tell he loves what he does and he will not disappoint when you pick this venue! (Or if you just want to come for dinner at the restaurant).

Staff:
Every staff member made sure to greet us and our guests with a smile. From the people helping set up, buffet helpers/servers, and bartender. Everyone was extremely pleasant and made sure multiple times throughout the evening that everything was going well and according to our vision. Kelly was the event manager the day of and helped us from beginning to end, she even came up with the name of our signature cocktail, Jikky Juice (for Jared and Nikky). Again, we must give a big thank you to Brian and his amazing staff in the kitchen/bartender for producing such wonderful food & drink for us that night!

The Day Of:
Kelly ran the show during the day of the wedding. The wedding ceremony and pictures ran longer than expected at our church which pushed our time of arrival to Woods Fort back a little. Kelly was flexible and had the golf carts ready for us to take more pictures out on the course. The food was cooked perfectly and came out on time. Kelly kept an eye on our stuff during the wedding and was in constant communication with us during the day and reassured us that everything was going great. She even saved plates of food for us to enjoy later in case we didn’t get to eat as much as we would have liked to! Things just could not have gone better! 10/10 would recommend Woods Fort for ANY event!

We had a smaller group and the staff was very helpful to make sure our group was served and taken care of in an appropriate/timely manner. We arrived earlier than expected to the room. Woods Fort kicked their time up a bit to meet us, and I did not expect them to do that. This was awesome!

The location is a beautiful hidden gem, that not many people are aware of. They have options for both outdoor weddings as well as indoor. Both the ceremony and reception can be held there and they even have a spot for the bride and her party to get ready in before the big day. My Fiance and I are to marry outside on the golf course, we can then take pictures right on site, followed by the reception inside the banquet hall where they will be catering their amazing food. I can't wait for my special day to marry my best friend.

Overall it’s was a perfect day. Just double check tables bc we had 2 fall down and made everything fall off the tables. Also another thing, put the food away first before grabbing peoples plates bc it delayed the dance floor opening when the workers were just going around getting plates instead of breaking down the buffet tables. They could of picked plates up while we were all dancing. Other than that the day was perfect in my eyes!

We went with Woods Fort because in 2021 we met with the coordinator, placed a down payment, and were assured we would be able to have plated meals. Sometime between 2021 and October 2022, the plated meals option was removed, and the venue refused to honor the agreement. We had to do a buffet. With a change of menu and pricing, we were not notified. This resulted in the menu selection being within 10 days of the event after I reached out to confirm event details. With such short notice, the invoice was due immediately upon receipt which incurred a penalty for using a credit card. They would not accept a check or cash on the day of. Living 4 hours away, a credit card was the only option. The food and venue were acceptable and service the day of satisfactory. Everything leading up to was so frustrating and aggravating we were searching for any other option for our rehearsal dinner. I will not be doing business with them in the future, even though I like the restaurant.
