I could not have asked for a better venue for my wedding. It was an absolute dream! From first booking the venue to day of the wedding, the staff at Summerfield Farms was such a pleasure to work with. Macie was amazing about always being available and answering questions. The venue is also absolutely stunning. My ceremony was at the branch and the reception was at the Pole Barn and it was absolutely gorgeous. The BEST day!
We had the absolute best day celebrating our wedding at the Pole Barn! Macie was so great during the whole process. With not being from the area, she helped recommend our rehearsal dinner location and everyone loved it. We went with Summerfield for our bar + Alyssa was SO great to work with too. Everything about the day was so perfect + I wouldn't have changed a thing. We chose the branch for our ceremony + the photos turned out SO amazing. We are so grateful for Macie + Summerfield Farms. Exceptional Wedding Venue + Staff
I do not even know where to begin because Summerfield Farms was the most perfect wedding venue we could have asked for. From the gorgeous venue space, to the getting ready houses, to the market where we got souvenirs to remember our wedding day/venue, to the property having enough houses so our entire family could stay on property together.
Venue: the most stunning venue I looked at. I fell in love online, the rooftop bar for cocktail hour was one of the selling points, in addition to the gorgeous ceremony site, and the reception tent. We got married at the Little Tree, and had our reception at the main barn, and there is no other way to describe it other than extraordinary. We took our pictures out by the Little Tree, and they came out STUNNING. Then the Little Tree itself was the most beautiful backdrop for our ceremony, along with the most elegant dark oak chairs which truly added to the space.
Fast forward to the reception, we did cocktail hour on the rooftop, which was the PERFECT start to the party. Our food stations were located in the barn, and 1618 (in-house catering) prepared our perfect menu and we got SO many complements from our guests on our food. Finally we moved to the reception tent where the rest of the night played in perfection, we had cornhole, a dance floor, and casino games, and the space could not have been more perfect.
Planning Process: I actually miss my Summerfield crew as I got to talk/meet with them frequently throughout my planning process, and they are the kindest people. (Special shoutout to Macie Tremble, you are incredible and an absolute gem of a human) Whenever I had a question, they were quick to respond. When I had a request, they were eager to try to make it happen for me. And, I owe them for pretty much all of my vendors. When I first met with them, they gave me a lot of suggestions, which I ended up booking with them, and I had the absolute best team of vendors on my side.
Overall, to summarize:
Summerfield is a STUNNING venue.
The support you will receive from the staff is top-tier from the day you send an inquiry to even after your wedding, they will hype you up on your instagram photos you post lol.
The houses you get ready in on property are insanely nice and VERY spacious. I had a group of 15 girls getting ready, plus 4 hair and makeup girls, plus my husband's family who was staying in the house all weekend all there with us and it did not feel cramped at all. We had so much room, and it was nice to be able to move around and spend the day relaxed and comfy.
The Main Barn has my heart, with the amazing rooftop bar for cocktail hour.
1618-on-Location helps you create your perfect menu and prepares it even tastier than you could have imagined.
Alysa and the bar team make the BEST drinks. Our signature cocktails were an espresso martini and an old fashioned and they were PERFECT.
This was truly the wedding venue of our dreams, and we have received SO many complements from our guests saying how beautiful it was.

We had the good fortune to host my daughter's wedding at the Summerfield Farms pole barn in October of this year. From start to finish, it was an extraordinary experience.
When we first discovered the venue online, we had a feeling it might be something very special, and wow, were we ever right. Everything about the wedding was more than we could have asked for. In looking through the photographs today, every single image is enhanced by the setting and scenery. This isn’t by accident. Their team's care and attention to detail was evident everywhere we looked. We particularly appreciated that we were able to make the space reflect our daughter and new son-in-law. It was a lot like them: a little bit rustic, but very elegant, quiet, but joyful, open, and inviting. The hanging ladder, lighting, and drapery made the inside elegant, and the donkey, cow, games, and tree swing made the outside feel like a family picnic. I’m not sure how one place can evoke so many different feelings in one event. I suspect it may be a little bit of magic, but I know it is also due to a lot of hard work.

Choosing Summerfield Farms as our venue was the best decision we could have made. Every single interaction, with multiple people, was positive. Over the 13 months of planning, Summerfield Farms was always there—offering help, making sure we were happy. Elizabeth, Stephanny and Alyssa were an absolute dream to work with. After our wedding, our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how attentive (and nice) every one was at Summerfield Farms. Our day was perfect thanks to them. -

Absolutely Amazing, Wouldnt Want It Any Other Way!
What a wonderful experience we had with Summerfield Farms as our venue! We booked the Pole Barn for our October wedding and it was unreal. Not only did the team ensure we were taken care of throughout the whole process, but the day of, I couldn’t have asked for a better team to handle things. Stephanny was so kind! When I had to wait in the car before walking down the aisle, she eased my nerves with just casual conversation and to me, that meant a lot.
My husband & I don’t live in the area but we knew this venue was a perfect fit and we were willing to travel to make it work! I truly couldn’t ask for a better venue all around! -

Summerfield Farms was the best experience we could’ve ever wished for. We got married at The Barn on October 7, 2023. We booked the venue nearly 2 years before the wedding and the staff were so amazing to work with. They were so attentive to our needs, communicated with us through every step of the planning process, and made the wedding day go so smoothly. The staff checked on us all throughout the day to make sure we were okay. Stephanny with Summerfield and all of the staff made our wedding day a dream. It was a completely stress free day for me and that was a huge bonus. While the bridal party were getting ready, the team executed our ideas perfectly. Summerfield Farms was the absolute best choice for us when planning our wedding. Not only is the beauty of the property unmatched, the staff is sweet and amazing! They truly care and go above and beyond for each person to achieve their dream event. We rented the houses on property (The Cabin and the Bungalow) for overnight stays. Both houses were clean, organized, and so cute! Every detail is thought of on the property, including their market. We planned a "micro-wedding" at the Pole Barn in approximately (60) days. Despite the tight schedule and our indecisiveness, the staff at Summerfield Farms helped us host an amazing event. The venue was absolutely perfect for our rustic, intimate wedding and reception with our closest family and friends. Summerfield Farms blew every single expectation I had for my dream wedding day out of the water. They were amazing to work with, and helped all of my decor vision come to life! Their staff and event team were some of the most loving and compassionate people I've ever met. They were very accommodating throughout the pandemic, helping me and my guests prepare for the event. The houses that we got to get ready in before the wedding were also absolutely beautiful, and they even hand wrote me a letter welcoming me and congratulating us! They handled all of the alcohol, had golf carts ready for my groom and I at any moment, and THE PICTURES OMG!!! These pictures I will hang on my wall forever and ever. I cannot say enough about how beautiful the entire day was. We cannot be happier to be a part of the FARMily!! -

Summerfield Farms was absolutely amazing! Our June wedding was dreamy and perfect! The staff made our wedding day seamless from start to finish! SF staff also had great communication over the months leading up to our wedding! We had our rehearsal dinner at the Pole Barn and our wedding at the Little Tree with reception at the Barn. Both of the barns were transformed beautifully. If you are considering, then do yourself a favor and choose SF! :) -

I wouldn’t change one detail of my wedding at Summerfield Farms. The venue is so beautiful from the ceremony site of the Little Tree to our reception in the tent behind the Barn. There were sunflowers blooming when I got married in July and I love my sunflower photos! The team at Summerfield Farms is so professional, and they responded to all my questions in emails quickly. The Bungalow was perfect for getting ready—a kitchen with plenty of space, mirrors and chairs in the hair and makeup area, and plenty more space. I will cherish my beautiful intimate July wedding at Summerfield Farms forever. If you are questioning where to get married you will not regret going with Summerfield Farms! I highly recommend the team and venue at Summerfield Farms! -

Our wedding was in May and even now, I still get message after message about how wonderful and gorgeous the reception was. People are still raving about the beauty that was summerfield farms. It truly was the perfect place. And almost magical. The cows grazing in the distance. The swing in the woods. The pond. The sunlight shining into the barn was perfect and the acres of land to roam and view was spectacular. If you have any sort of special event, I highly recommend summerfield farms. Not only is their venue perfect and gorgeous, their staff is extremely kind and friendly and accommodating to fit any need. They made the best day of our lives a real joy! Truly was perfection! -

We loved having our wedding here at Summefield Farms at the little tree and the reception at the white barn August 2019. Would highly recommend this venue for the beauty and staff for weddings or other special events.
Virginia was so helpful from the beginning with our tour, setting up details on layouts, the whens and wheres of planning and the products available for our wedding. The venue is so beautiful the wedding packages with the house for bride and cabin for the groom the day of was a beautiful and comfortable to use. The four food vendors you have to choose from are of different budget levels an are all delicious to choose from. You must have a wedding day of coordinator. There is a possiblity that there is a second wedding the same day of yours at their second pole barn location, but it will be at a separate time and on the other side of the property so you only have to worry about guest going to the wrong parking lot. We stayed in the cabin the night of the wedding and was a nice area to hang out with our friends after the busy wedding day. Staff, venue and services were easy an all around a great experience. Enjoy some highlights from the wedding showing the bungalow, cabin, little tree, the barn and more of the venue. -

Astonished
I have no idea where to begin. When we started the process of searching for venues, something about this venue felt different. Elizabeth met with me not once but twice so I could show my husband and mother at different times. She was so helpful and flexible throughout the process. She even answered texts and emails from me seamlessly at all hours of the night. The day of staff was so on it and they were willing to take us places in the rain for photos. I wish I could get married every year just so I could relive the extraordinary day. -

We had our wedding at the Pole Barn and couldnt have asked for a more perfect evening!!! The staff was SO nice and very accommodating (shoutout to Elizabeth!!). We felt this venue was gorgeous and had so much potential to decorate with!! We love how much outdoor space there was at this barn and so many of our guests complimented how comfortable they felt with being able to move around. We wanted to take covid precautions and felt this venue was a win for us. We loved how everything was outside and spacious. After rehearsal our bridal party went to the Wells truck (beverage food truck) and hung out around the venue. This was perfect for our guests to relax and socialize outside before going to dinner. There is also a super cute food market. Highly recommend this venue!! -

A well overdue but completely necessary review!
Summerfield Farms was the very first venue that my husband and I toured. I fell in love with the main barn the minute I saw it in photos and the tour with Holly certainly did not disappoint. My husband is in the military and there was a lot of uncertainty with his schedule - we had to put the planning on pause. The time finally came around again for wedding planning and we simply could not get Summerfield Farms out of our minds. We visited other venues and simply compared them to it, ultimately knowing it was the perfect venue for us. The crew working at Summerfield Farms was nothing short of excellent. They were easy to communicate with, hard working and accommodating. Our wedding day brought on severe weather with rain, wind, downed trees, power loss and more. Summerfield Farms brought out generators and pulled together as a unit to ensure our day went off as scheduled. Our guests to this day speak about how beautiful the venue was from the Barn to the property, the houses, the rentals and so forth. It fulfilled our wedding dreams and more. I highly recommend them. Our wedding at Summerfield Farms was truly a DREAM and the team there, especially Holly and Elizabeth, was amazing to work with. The facilities are BEAUTIFUL, from the Bungalow that we got ready in, to the Barn itself, rain or shine. When I was planning our wedding, my now husband was deployed overseas, and they were so accommodating in scheduling walk throughs and meetings in a time that I could consult him before he returned. Our guests had an amazing time, and our family and friends felt so welcome by the events team and workers there. I can't recommend this venue enough. I found this little piece of heaven over a year before our wedding date and fell in love. I didn't even see it in person! But husband did, but I knew that I wanted to get married here so we booked it! I wouldn't have changed a thing. The onsite staff and event coordinator(s) work to make sure your day runs as smooth and perfect as possible. The communication is impeccable between the staff and response time is one of the best I have experienced, especially for my OCD needs! The access to the bridal and grooms getting ready suites is unheard of, and all of my girls could not compliment the bridal suite enough! If we could do our day over again, we wouldn't change a thing about picking this venue to start our forever at. Many thanks to everyone here! -

This was the first and last venue we looked at when we got engaged. I took one walk around the venue & the Pole Barn and I was SOLD! The staff is super friendly! Our Dream Wedding!
Summerfield Farms is the only venue we toured as a couple. The moment we met Holly and the rest of her team, we knew they were the perfect fit. The venue is LGBTQ friendly and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The entire farm is gorgeous and either barn is a magical setting. We went with the Main Barn after we fell in love with the rooftop terrace. We loved being able to have our ceremony inside of the Barn and have an easy transition to the reception. Every single thing that we planned with the Summerfield Farms staff was flawless. All of the staff during the day were kind and helpful. I can not say enough great things about Summerfield Farms! Every time you go on to the property you instantly feel welcomed! Holly was a huge reason I chose Summerfield as our wedding venue! Her joy and love for the farm pours out of her and she is was great to work with! Throughout the entire process Holly, Virginia, and Sydney did everything they could do to make sure our wedding was absolutely perfect!
The weekend before our wedding the farm got about a foot of snow and the Summerfield team worked so hard to get everything cleared for our wedding to go off without a hitch. Whether it’s a wet snowy day or a beautiful sunny afternoon the farm is stunning and beautiful no matter where you are on the property.
If you are in the market for a wedding venue, do yourself a favor and check out the farm! You definitely won’t regret it! By far one of my favorite places!Summerfield Farms's reply:

We couldn't have imagined our wedding day anywhere else. Summerfield Farms was the first venue we were able to see in our search and after we left, we cancelled all of the other meeting times we had set up at other venues. Not only is the staff super accommodating but they truly put your needs at the forefront. As a bride, I had several ideas that I wanted to make a reality and Summerfield Farms, Holly, Virginia, and Katie all made them come to life. If I was able to do my wedding day all over again, I would do it exactly the same because with their help, my wedding day was truly the best day of my life. -

It was a dream come true, especially with the cows being in the field during the ceremony. Between Katie, Holly, and Virginia everything was perfect. They all communicated with me very well and made sure we weren't in need of anything. I absolutely loved everything about our wedding day!Summerfield Farms's reply:

Shannon Sent on 09/08/2018Stop your venue search now, because you won't find a better place than Summerfield Farms. This was the first venue we visited and we had to look no more. In all honesty, if it's within your budget, you get MORE than what you pay for. We included day-of housing for the groomsmen and bridesmaids and it made everything run so smoothly. Great for pre-ceremony photos as well! Holly (our venue rep)......I can't even explain in words how caring, accommodating, and sincere she was. Her as well as Virginia know their stuff. We weren't sure if we could even have the wedding outside under the Little Tree as we imagined due to rain, and both ladies provided me with faith even if they don't know it! I truly can't imagine what our day would've been like anywhere else. When you visit, you'll say the same. AND THE BEEF IS GREAT!

Nicole Sent on 09/01/2018Summerfield Farms had been my husband and my dream venue since long before we were engaged and they did not disappoint! Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful and more than we could have ever dreamed of. The whole staff was incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process and was happy to help us out with any questions we had. We had planned to have the ceremony at the Little Tree, but it ended up raining the whole day. They moved the ceremony into the main barn which ended up being just, as if not more beautiful. It certainly didn't feel like the 'back up plan'. We honestly can't stop talking about how beautiful and perfect the whole day was!!

The houses to get ready in are beautiful and top of the line. The different area options to get married in are gorgeous and the rain plans are equally as pretty as the outside options. Holly and Katie are both incredible to work with and always got back to me in a timely fashion. I can’t say enough about how perfect our wedding day was and how huge of a role Summerfield played in the perfection. You will not be disappointed in Summerfield Farms if you pick this venue!

Summerfield Farms was the one and only venue we looked at. After walking around the farm and drooling over the rustic charm of the White Barn, the simplistic yet jaw-dropping Little Tree, and of course the Bridal Cottage that looks like it's from HGTV... no other venue compared. SF is a one stop shop, making wedding planning the most relaxing experience. I had peace of mind knowing we had the best of the best vendors, I trusted them and let them roll with all their ideas. It was nothing short of amazing. All expectations were exceeded. SF is a pleasure and joy to work with. The staff greets you with open arms making you feel like "farm family"! Speaking of the farm, it is absolutely GORGEOUS, and SO many photo ops- let's be real, we are all in this for some good pictures. If you are looking for a one of a kind venue to create the wedding of your dreams and leave your guests speechless- look no further.

Mckenzie Sent on 05/15/2018I couldn't have been more happy with Summerfield Farms. My husband and I had an absolutely perfect wedding day. The location and setting is fantastic. Its only about 20 minutes away from downtown Greensboro so it is easy for guests to get to and from their hotel rooms, and they can use uber/lyft if they want. The farms are beautiful and a perfect back drop for an outdoor ceremony; and the main barn is absolutely amazing for a relaxed and fun reception! The staff at Summerfield Farms was wonderful through the whole process. They made sure they had everything they needed from myself and my wedding planner to make the day go smoothly. On our wedding day the staff would come into the bridal cottage to make sure my girls and I had everything we needed. And throughout the ceremony and reception they worked diligently with my wedding planner to make sure everything was in place and all the guests were happy. I can not give Summerfield Farms and their staff enough praise for everything they did. They were absolutely wonderful and I am so glad that my husband and I chose them for our wedding day. They went above and beyond and were nothing less than amazing. If I could give them a 10 star rating out of 5 stars I would.

My husband and I wanted to treat our guests to an authentic experience that exuded with southern elegance with a twist of Southwestern Decor! We knew that the staff at Summerfield Farms would treat our guests like their very own family. Our guests are STILL raving about how incredible the property, the staff, the food and the attention to detail that went into making our dream come true. The staff treat you like family from the very beginning and make every effort to ensure an incredible experience. From the golf cart and tractor wagon rides to and from ceremony to the beautiful sunset terrace, fire pits, beautiful Edison bulb lit tent and fun stage for dancing and lounge furniture we couldn’t of imagined our day anywhere else!! The best advice I have is to soak up every moment throughout planning and throughout the wedding day! The entire process from start to finish was a dream!!!

Megan Sent on 10/26/2016Imagine planning your wedding ceremony to happen out by the Farm's "Little Tree" only to wake up on your wedding day and realize a Hurricane is coming through. I was fortunate enough to stay in the girls bungalow on the farm the night before my wedding, which was the best decision I made. It was such a cute space and fun to be in. I woke that morning to rain, looking out the window over at that beautiful tree. Little did I know, The Barn was going to hold ceremony memories for which I would forever be grateful for and love more than I could ever imagined.
Holly was absolutely a doll. She was so helpful in answering the crazy amounts of emails I sent her. And when it came to our actual wedding day she was so helpful and sweet. She even sent me a text after the wedding of a photo she'd taken while we were having pictures done telling me how much she enjoyed working with us. And that really made me feel special and as though a wedding on the farm really means something to the farm.
Hurricane Matthew was not on our minds when we booked the farm. We dreamed of a ceremony by Little Tree. But we moved everything into the barn and when I stepped out of the car and into the barn, as I started walking down the aisle, I just felt this sense of magic. The beauty of the barn is something that doesn't need a lot of dressing up. My parents worked really hard last minute to do so nice decor, but they kept it simple, because the barn speaks for itself. I'm so glad we wound up in there. Then in turn our reception was in there as well so the whole evening just had this sweet, intimate feel to it. Everyone we worked with was so kind and ready to help out. I just love everything about the farm and wish we could come back and relive our perfect day all the time. Thank you so much for such an amazing place to start our journey in life together! -

Summerfield Farms made our wedding the BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES. We had an amazing wedding day, awesome staff to work with, and the joy of being surrounding by a beautiful piece of property. If you are unsure about booking this venue, I can assure you there is no question that I would book this again in a heartbeat. The staff is hardworking, genuine, and unafraid to reach out a helping hand, even when they aren't required to. The bungalow and cottage are perfect for wedding parties to feel beautiful getting ready in, and the cabin is outstanding for the groomsmen. We cannot explain how happy we are to have chosen Summerfield Farms.
