We had the wedding weekend of our dreams at the BARN at Liberty Farms! Between the glamping tents and on-property farmhouse, all of our closest friends could celebrate the entire weekend onsite with us. The grounds are spectacular. It was the perfect mix of rustic elegance and all the modern amenities we needed for comfort. A truly magical weekend.

From start to finish, our wedding weekend at The Barn at Liberty Farms was nothing short of magical. One of the things that immediately stood out to us was that you get the entire venue for the whole weekend—which made the experience so much more relaxed and personal. We never felt rushed; instead, we had time to truly soak in every moment.

The staff was absolutely incredible—so organized, kind, and attentive. They kept everything running smoothly the entire day, and by the time the night ended, we were blown away to see how seamlessly they handled cleanup and even helped us pack up as we loaded the van the next morning.

We loved that there was an option to stay right on the property. We rented out the farmhouse, and it was perfect! My girls and I stayed there the night before, which made for such special memories—and the getting-ready photos turned out stunning.

One of our favorite touches was the cozy fire pit that stayed lit late into the night. It gave everyone a chance to unwind, share stories, and just enjoy being together under the stars.

Every single detail was perfect. The Barn at Liberty Farms truly made our wedding an absolute fairytale. I can’t recommend this venue enough—it’s everything you could ever dream of for a wedding weekend and more. 💕

Our experience with the Barn was absolutely a positive one. We utilized the glamping sites/rehearsal dinner site in addition to the barn so that we could offer our guests a weekend of festivities. The staff at the Nest (glamp site) were kind, polite and extremely helpful (shout out to Joe for setting up our rehearsal dinner sternos, table and chairs). Beth and Anjie were fantastic coordinators of our guests and vendors the day of the wedding, in addition to transporting bridesmaids and guests with limited mobility. Beth was also fantastically helpful the day before the wedding in setting the barn up. Danni was extremely responsive and thorough in her response to my questions, providing me with all the specifics of the barn size, items needing to be rented and any other particulars that needed to be ironed out prior to the day. We also utilized three of the Liberty Farm houses for family to stay, and all three were beautiful, unique and clean.
Regarding the price of the barn, you get the day before and after to access to set up/clean up, which is a lovely stress reducer. You get the staff support pre and post (also, I might mention, the entire barn was neatly cleaned up and all my items stacked by the barn staff

My son and daughter in law had their wedding here on 9/20/25. What a fantastic venue! Everything was perfect. Beth was fantastic and made sure everything was running smoothly. I would highly recommend the Barn at Liberty Farms. Their property made for incredible wedding photos and a beautiful indoor/outdoor wedding setting. We utilized their rental farmhouses and we couldn’t have asked for a better set up. The farmhouse on property was the perfect location for our rehearsal dinner and even for the first look on wedding day by the beautiful willow in the backyard.

My son's wedding at The Barn was nothing short of magical. From the charming cocktail tent to the stunning reception hall and gorgeous views, it was absolutely an incredible place! What truly made the experience unforgettable was the Barn's amazing team, Beth and Danni. From day one, they were helpful, and genuinely invested in making the day perfect. When the weather threw us a curveball with unexpected rain, Beth and her team jumped into action without hesitation, improvising layout changes and timing adjustments so seamlessly that no one even noticed there had been a change in plans. Another incredible touch was the generosity of the venue owners, who allowed us to use their Airbnb for our 3 day pre-wedding celebrations - Mehendi, Haldi and Sangeet. It turned out to be the perfect space for our closest friends and family to gather and kick off the wedding weekend and truly set the tone for the magical wedding that followed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place or people to celebrate the best day of our lives!

Picking the BARN at Liberty Farms was hands down the best decision we made during the wedding planning process! We had an absolutely magical wedding weekend, and we owe a lot of that to the BARN and its incredible staff. Danni assisted during the planning process, and was readily available to answer any and all questions that came up. She provided guidance and support. She also provided a very helpful list of vendors. Blanche and Beth were on site the day of the wedding, and were extremely comforting, accommodating, and helpful. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, with multiple possible ceremony sites. It is great for those looking to customize their wedding, as there are seven stalls that you can design how you wish. We also stayed in the glamping tents with our close family and friends, and loved that experience as well. We feel so lucky to have found the BARN, and we could not recommend them more!

The BARN at Liberty Farms is such a magical place! The grounds are so beautiful and the staff are beyond helpful, support, positive and accommodating. They did so much to ensure we were taken care of!
The venue itself is so full of magic. From the owls hooting during our ceremony in the newly built wooded ceremony spot, to the horses and perfect mountain views for spectacular photo shoots. The late night fire pit was a great added bonus!

The first and best decision we made in planning our wedding was booking The BARN at Liberty Farms. I wanted a beautiful farm-like space that allowed us to customize our wedding(food, decor, etc). This place delivers on so many levels - the outdoor spaces are just beyond gorgeous and the stallion barn (the indoor space) is perfectly lit with either round or rectangle tables. It was the ideal size for our wedding of 85. The bonfire was stunning and they also offered a golf cart to help older family members move around the venue. The Barn is not only beautiful, with multiple sites to have your ceremony, they also sent us a list of recommended vendors that we used to pick our wedding planner, photographer, DJ, and makeup/hair stylist. Everyone we hired made our wedding a dream. The Barn let us visit multiple times and every person who works there is extremely nice and flexible. They are responsive, gave us four hours to set up the day before our wedding, helped with the alcohol delivery two days before the wedding, and let my wedding party into the venue an hour early so we'd have enough time for hair and makeup. My fiancé and I will be returning at least once a year to stay at their glamping sites for our anniversaries! We truly love this place, it is magical. We cannot recommend it enough!!

Our wedding at The BARN at Liberty Farms was a dream come true. The immaculate grounds, elegant barn, expansive paddocks, and hilltop with breathtaking views of the Catskill Mountains created the perfect setting for our "rustic elegant" wedding. We had our ceremony in the new *stunning* wooded site, which created a fairytale-like ambiance. The late summer sun was glistening on the trees which felt like magic. We visited many barns in the Hudson Valley/Catskills region, but nothing could even come close to Liberty Farms. We had SO much fun customizing the space to reflect our interests. Incorporating our favorite lawn games, adding on the fire pit for s'mores, and decorating the stallion stalls allowed us to make our wedding uniquely us. The team is amazing to work with and we loved that we were the only event of the weekend (this was essential as we benefited from having time the day prior to set up decorations and rehearse)! Danni is incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the planning process. Blanche was available to assist us for the duration of our wedding weekend and she's an outstanding golf cart driver to boot (shout out for getting us up to the hilltop in time for the most spectacular golden hour photos)! My bridesmaids and I stayed in the Silo View Farmhouse, just a mile down the road, which was very convenient for hair/makeup and getting ready. Our only complaint is that the day went too quickly - we wish we could do it all over again! We LOVE the BARN!

My wife and I had a peace of mind with the communication from The Barn at Liberty Farms from the start. Danni did a great job asking what we wanted, what to expect and not expect, etc. We have no regrets having our wedding at The Barn- it ended up being the best day of our lives!
The atmosphere that the venue provides is breathtaking and intimate. All our guests enjoyed the unique character of the barn how you could customize the different stalls to your liking. In The Barn, there were seven stalls where you could customize. For the stalls, we prepared them as: The bar area, Photobooth, Games (Jumbo Jenga, etc), a couples "Shrine", desserts, and two lounging areas. Additionally, the outdoor fire they prepare for you is a great touch!

Cocktail hour underneath the tent was an amazing hit as well. We hired live music for the cocktail hour, and everyone loved the atmosphere.

Kudos to The Barn for making our wedding day so special!

My husband and I got married at The BARN at Liberty Farms this past weekend and it was honestly the perfect wedding. We had looked at a large number of venues in the Berkshires and the Hudson Valley, but when we found the BARN we knew it was the perfect place for us to get married: a beautiful, bucolic organic farm with both elegance and laid back vibes (a bonfire! lawn games!) Plus, unlike many barn venues it has all the amenities: air conditioning, great indoor bathrooms (not to be taken for granted!), lots of furniture and 'props' that come with the barn, and the most important amenity: an incredible team. We felt so welcomed into the Liberty Farms family by every single person we interacted with, from the owners, to the wedding coordinators, to one of the farmers who worked with our caterer to source some of our produce right from the farm. We loved the flexibility to select and work with vendors of our choosing while also getting as much guidance and support as we needed from the Liberty Farms team. For us, the mixture of autonomy with complete support and accessibility/great communication was perfect. They are able to recommend the all-star vendors they often work with (our planner Kate from A Charmed Affair who was incredible works at the BARN so often she is almost like a member of the team, and let me tell you, that's a nice feeling!) as well as our florist Flower Blossom Design were both recommendations from them. The team is the absolute warmest, most down to earth, perfect for our mix of wanting a low-key wedding but also being a little Type A and anxious about planning all the details. In the end, this was just the absolute most perfect wedding and we can't recommend this venue highly enough!! It's really the best of all worlds, and we think you should get married there if any of this resonated with you.

The BARN was honestly the perfect venue/setting for our big day! Can’t be beat having the flexibility of various indoor and outdoor spaces as your needs and/or the weather changes. The stallion stalls and all the different use cases (e.g., bars, lounge, photo booth) for them also are super unique (and fun)! The location is great too. Only 10-15 mins outside of Hudson NY, so it was easy to shuttle our guests to/from. Blanche, Bev, Danni and the full team at the BARN were super responsive and attentive to us, even several months before our wedding weekend. We loved too that we were the sole event of the weekend, which made our lives much easier as far as dropping things off ahead of the wedding and picking things up afterwards. Can’t speak highly enough about our experience with the BARN!

The Barn at Liberty Farms is the most beautiful Hudson Valley venue. It is the perfect mix of luxury amenities and rustic beauty. The grounds are expansive and meticulously maintained. The inside of the Barn is incredible and the perfect set up for your reception. We also loved the staff - everyone was so kind, communicative and made for an incredible experience from start to finish. We HIGHLY recommend The Barn at Liberty Farms!!!

When we first walked into the Barn my wife said "I love it, this is the one" - It was the kick start to an event I think we both thought was never going to actually happen. From the very beginning working through everything with Danni, all the way to the day of working with Blanche, everything was incredible. It couldn't have gone better. The whole team was so helpful, they kept us up to date on everything we needed and constantly checked in on us through the entire process. They all made it so easy, in an environment like wedding planning that feels incredibly stressful.

Everyone one of our guests raved about how beautiful the Barn is - it was the perfect setting for us! From the grounds, the actual barn, to the staff, we loved every second we were able to spend there! We miss it and we want to do it all over again.

First off, this venue is absolutely gorgeous. It creates the most magical ambiance from the cocktail hour in a grass paddock, to the barn doors opening as the bride walks out, to the first look on the hill top, it truly will blow you away. Secondly, the staff is incredible! They coordinate everything and made it all so seamless. Couldn't recommend more!

We are so glad we chose the BARN at Liberty Farms as our wedding venue. From the moment we drove up the picturesque path to the BARN, we knew this was the perfect place to get married. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the spacious and updated barn is such a lovely place for a reception. We were married outdoors in the paddock against a beautiful background of summer trees and flowers, had our cocktail hour under the outdoor sail tent, our reception in the spacious and beautifully decorated barn, and our guests ended the evening with a magical outdoor fire pit.

The team at Liberty Farms is also wonderful. Danni and Blanche were so helpful every step of the way. I should also mention that because we got married in August 2020, we switched from a 150 person wedding to a 50-person, socially distanced wedding over a period of just a few months. Danni and Blanche were so supportive, and worked hard to help us keep all of our guests safe and to make sure we complied with all safety precautions and guidelines. Although it was different than we originally imagined, our wedding was every bit as romantic and magical as we had hoped. The beautiful venue and wonderful team played a huge role in making it happen. Thank you Liberty Farms!

From day one, Danni and Blanche were a joy to work with and so clearly committed to ensuring we had the best possible wedding. That included everything from pre-wedding walkthroughs, to emailing over the status of the fall leaf colors in the days before, to Blanche helping us and our photographers identify that best spots for sunset photos post-ceremony.

The BARN is also a perfect venue for those looking for a more customizable wedding. We fell in love with Liberty Farms when we first saw it, but we also were able to design a wedding (using much of what the venue and our coordinator already had) with unique touches, layouts, and more.

Couldn’t have imagined a more perfect wedding and overall wedding experience. We planned our wedding in 7 months and knew immediately upon visiting Liberty Farms and meeting Blanche (the venue coordinator) that this place was for us. If you are looking for a down to earth yet extremely well executed and professional experience, the Barn is the place for you.

We worked very closely with Blanche to plan and coordinate our wedding and she was a true pro and absolute pleasure to work with. Our work schedules were challenging and Blanche was very patient and flexible with us.

We are SO incredibly happy that we selected the Barn at Liberty Farms for our wedding. The Barn and surrounding property is absolutely beautiful (take advantage of this for your photos) - multiple guests have told us they've deemed the location the best barn venue around! The Barn is rustic and beautiful, but also comfortable (temperature controlled, can shuttle guests from parking lot up the hill to the venue, the land surrounding the Barn is flat and accessible, etc.). We also stayed at their Farmhouse up the road, which was a beautiful and relaxing space for getting ready.

But, all the natural beauty aside, it is the staff that makes the venue! Danni was so helpful leading up to our wedding, answering any questions, sending us photos of decorations and the space, and offering advice along the way. Day of, Blanche and her team were AMAZING! We really loved getting to spend the day with Blanche and are very grateful for all her help (including very late in the evening when we had trouble with our transportation home - she kept me calm when I started to worry we were going to be stranded!). The Barn and everyone who worked there quite literally felt like an extended part of our family - they were just as excited about our big day as the rest of our guests - which made everything so much more personal and fun. We really can't say enough good things about the Barn and everyone there - we hope to be able to visit again soon.

My husband and I were set on a barn venue early on in our wedding process. We visited a number of venues, but none of them compared to the beauty of the BARN. The setting was a perfect mix of the attributes we were looking for in this type of venue without sacrificing modern amenities, all of which our guests greatly appreciated - air conditioning, polished floors that worked well for dancing and modern and clean bathrooms.
Inside the venue hosts a number of barn stalls which lent themselves to customizing every aspect of our reception. We were thrilled with how everything came out.
Blanche and Danni were amazing from day one. They were incredibly helpful and responsive, getting back to us very promptly after e-mails and calls, which is something that cannot be overstated when you are planning a wedding. Blanche was on site the day of the wedding which provided some much needed comfort and allowed us to enjoy our special day. Her incredibly warm personality was an added bonus that went great with the rest of the amazing features of this venue.
The venue photographs very well and our guests all remarked on how beautiful the stars were as the night progressed. The firepit in the back was a huge hit as ours guests enjoyed s'mores by the fire.
The fact that only one wedding occurs per weekend made us feel special and also helped with the logistics of setting everything up and next day clean-up. We could not have been happier with the BARN and would highly recommend this venue.

From the moment I visited The Barn at Liberty Farms a year before my wedding, I could envision the day I'd marry my husband. I loved the true autumn feeling and the unique layout of the space. We booked on the spot. I spent a year planning a very personalized experience, communicating with Danni along the way. She was very helpful in answering questions and making local recommendations. My family made three trips to The Barn during that year to tour. I loved that by booking The Barn, we were reserving the whole weekend at the space. Our family even stayed at the on-site Farmhouse. The day before the wedding, we set up a high volume of decorations (and we didn't have to worry about taking them down until the day after). On the wedding day, Blanche and team were incredibly helpful in making sure that every detail was in place. We had a fantastic experience at The Barn and can't wait to receive our professional photos of the most beautiful day. Thank you!

The Barn was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the start Danni and Blanche set us at ease with their incredible responsiveness and help in finding different vendors in the area. They went above and beyond throughout the whole process. The venue is well run and everything was easy day of. Blanche was on site the day before to talk through things with us and make sure that everything was set up as we wanted. She helped day of as well to make sure things were going smoothly. With so much space to work with, we are able to have our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all in different areas to make the night even more fun. Many other perks like the bonfire pit, great brides and grooms suite to hang out in beforehand, golf cart for some of our older guests, the hilltop for perfect evening pictures and the list goes on. I couldn't think of a more perfect place to get married!

I still get teary-eyed thinking about how much I love the BARN at Liberty Farms. The moment we pulled up the driveway and walked into the barn, we knew this was it. Meeting Blanche felt like we were seeing a long time friend, she made us feel right at home. Blanche is incredible and could not have been more helpful and flexible the weekend of the wedding.
Danni and Blanche are the best team and made our dreams come true! Since we did not hire a planner and this is my first (and last) time planning a wedding, we were a bit in the dark on where to begin. The BARN helped us every step of the way. From the vendor list, the late night (and quick response) emails, to the drive up the hilltop, we felt beyond supported by the BARN.
We could not have imagined a better place to get married. The venue thought of everything, both large and small details. Blanche even tracks the sun and she knew exactly where to position the ceremony so all our guests would be covered in shade!! Plus we had the best fire pit to end the night. The barn and grounds are stunning, and we feel so lucky we found this magical space.

Mother of the Bride chiming in to let folks know that this is the greatest wedding venue around! Danni and Blanche are so responsive. They helped us plan each step of the way! Any questions we had were answered immediately! We went to visit it a second time after booking it - it took almost two years to plan this wedding so we needed a reminder of what the venue looked like. You get a lot with the venue price. We used their chairs for the ceremony and rented chairs from Columbia Tent rentals. We had no wedding planner but didn't need one with Blanche helping us keep organized. Jeff Loshinsky catering also helped us tremendously when planning the flow of the evening! Everyone who attended the wedding said this venue was extra special! We can't recommend The Barn at Liberty Farms enough- they are the best!

We had our May wedding at The Barn at Liberty Farms and also used the Silo View house to stay in and get ready. It ended up raining so we did our first look in the house as well and it was perfect!! Our guests and caterers still can not stop staying how beautiful the venue was. And the rentals and caterer continue to praise how efficient Blanche was in helping with setup and organizing drop off times. We loved our entire experience with The Barn at Liberty Farms and their staff and would have had it no other way for our wedding day! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We had such an amazing experience at Barn at Liberty Farms. It was exactly what we envisioned for our wedding day. The staff was so helpful and accommodating to our questions and needs. I'd highly recommend the Barn at Liberty Farms to any couple considering a barn / rustic wedding.

Danni and Blanche, with owner Mark, run an incredibly professional operation at their stunning barn in Ghent. We initially visited in the grip of winter (trying to imagine what it would look like in Spring) and they could not have been more welcoming and attentive. There are so many questions - guest numbers, fire regulations, catering facilities, parking, insurance, best place for the ceremony etc.. Over the coming months, they were lovely to deal with and had all the right answers.
The barn itself is beautifully maintained. It has heating and air conditioning. There is a large main room with high ceilings that accommodates 140 people - with side rooms to configure as you like - bars, sofas, a band etc. There are two private dressing rooms, bathrooms in the building, easy parking, a fire pit, and vast green spaces.
I’d absolutely recommend this place.

We had our winter wedding at the barn and it could not have been more perfect!! Leading up to our wedding, the staff was helpful during our tour and very reponsive to any questions we had along the way. They offer valuable tools that help simplify the planning process. The venue is beautiful, unique and easily decorated to suit your style. Our wedding day ran very smooth, even during the first snowfall and without a wedding planner. Guests enjoyed the different stations such as the photo booth, bar, lounge and desserts located within the redone horse stalls. Even during the winter, the barn was warm and guests were comfortable. We had 120 guests who were mainly kept inside due to the snow storm and space was not a concern. You will not be disappointed!

We are so, so thrilled that we chose The Barn at Liberty Farms for our wedding venue. It was a total dream come true. The folks there were so quick to respond to any inquiries we had while planning, and they let us carry out our vision for the wedding exactly as we wanted it to be. They were accommodating, had helpful suggestions, and connected us with all of the vendors that we used for the event. The Barn at Liberty Farms is a beautiful place for a wedding. The space has been meticulously restored and the eight paddocks were great spaces for a bar, dessert area, play space for kids, etc. Everything was beautifully arranged and the wedding and reception went flawlessly. We forgot to bring lunch for the bridesmaids, so the woman running the venue gave us a phone number to call and she picked up sandwiches for us. Everybody there is super kind and helpful. They also recommended some great vendors.

Before the wedding, Bev, Mark, and Danni were absolutely wonderful to work with. Such nice people!! They even had a country house for us to reserve for some of our guests. The barn- It was the most beautiful place to Have a special event. So many areas to have a creative and fun wedding! We had cocktail hour outside, with garden games in the yards, then a photobooth in the stalls, with a bar in the other stall- so clean, so chic, so cool. Best wedding ever! Thank you all!!

We had a very clear vision of what we wanted for our wedding, so the moment we saw The Barn at Liberty Farms, we knew it was our place. Danni, our main point of contact during the planning process, was responsive and accommodating, and Blanche, our weekend-of contact, could not have been more sweet and helpful. I can't say enough good things about the Barn, the gorgeous land, and the awesome team working at Liberty Farms. Everyone we dealt with there was professional, friendly, and accommodating. We requested to get into the space very last minute a few times for planning and they always responded right away and made it possible. The Barn is beautifully renovated and needs very little decor and the land surrounding it is the ultimate backdrop-it's all a great blank slate that couples can do a little or a lot with depending on their taste . Our wedding day was wonderful and beyond our wildest dreams. Our guests could not stop raving about the setting. It truly feels so private and otherworldly. I would urge anyone considering an upstate or barn wedding to book the Barn at Liberty Farms, you won't regret it!

The BARN at Liberty Farms is a magical place for a wedding! The staff is amazing, and Danni, the Events Manager, is a true gem.  She went above and beyond to take good care of us prior to the wedding, and is full of great ideas to inspire you. She was always so responsive to our emails and calls (of which there were a lot of) which made the whole process enjoyable and stress-free!

The grounds of the venue are exceptionally beautiful and the inside of the BARN is bright, airy and well lit. There is plenty of open space and lots of options for your cocktail hour and ceremony.    For photos, we had a personal golf cart driver to take us up to the hilltop where there are breathtaking views of the Berkshire and Catskill mountains overlooking the farm.  A must see!

The BARN only holds one event per weekend.  This is a huge benefit other venues did not offer, and thus, we felt we were given the personal attention we needed. We had the entire day before the wedding to set up and get settled.  Blanche, the day-of coordinator, was so helpful, offering her help to set up tables (of which the BARN provides) and even assisting us with making our centerpieces!! 

The BARN is more than just a venue. It provides a one-of-a-kind experience with wonderful memories that are sure to last a lifetime. It is a blank canvas of endless possibilities and is the perfect destination for a fairytale wedding. My deepest gratitude goes to Mark, Bev, Danni and Blanche for their incredible work.

My husband and I knew that we wanted a barn wedding and had originally planned on a more rustic feel. But when we went to visit, we instantly knew it was the place. The pictures online are beautiful but in person the barn will blow you away. We were lucky enough to grab a date at the end of August and even before we signed the contract, we entered a great relationship with their staff. From start to finish, Danni, Blanche, and Mark were beyond helpful, accommodating, and just overall incredible people. They lightened my planning by making things seamless, less stressful, and dare I say it, fun. They checked in regularly without ever feeling overbearing, they offered great ideas/inspo, they always responded promptly. I have nothing but kind words for them all - thank you for bringing my dream wedding to life!!!

Positively magical venue. The space alone would have been fastastic; the farm and barn are breathtakingly beautiful and so well maintained. But the staff was also incredible from booking through the day of the wedding. They helped us find vendors, gave us floor plans, and added so many details that we never would have thought of, all of which helped the night go perfectly. Couldn't be happier.

This venue was the perfect setting for our wedding this past August. We loved the lush, beautifully manicured outdoor space which we utilized for our ceremony and cocktail hour. And then hosted dinner and dancing in the barn later in the evening. We used the horse stalls to house the bars, a seating lounge, and a photo booth area. We opted for both the golf cart/driver to assist our guests and the fire pit for late night s'mores. The bathrooms are exquisite and the location was just a few miles from the city of Hudson, Amtrak, and the Taconic Parkway. The staff was a pleasure to work with, helping my coordinator and myself with ideas and walk-throughs. I highly recommend this stunning rustic, yet elegant setting.

From the moment we pulled up to the Barn we were treated like family. Blanche was so incredibly welcoming and we felt like we had known her forever! We planned through COVID so our plans, as well as the barns were constantly changing. But the whole crew at liberty farms were open and responsive and answered any crazy question we had as soon as we had it. We were able to have our full wedding as we intended it and it was a perfect day! It was our decision on the floor plan to keep all of our guests in the main square and not have any guests in the wings/stalls, we had 110 guests and with the size of the dance floor we wanted (we wanted to prioritize dancing) the space was a little tight. But what’s great about the Barn is you get to choose your floor plan and they are so flexible and accommodating!

Overall The Barn was a fantastic wedding venue. Blanche (site manager) was available The entire weekend and there weren’t any requests where she said ‘no.’ If she wasn’t sure about something, she went and found out and got back to us right away. Our wedding was during a massive heat wave and she helped us adjust our plan seamlessly to accommodate people inside for the majority of the evening.

A few reasons we didn’t give it 5 stars. We did run into a few issues leading up to the event with the back end staff. Our names were spelled incorrectly twice on the initial contract and while not a huge deal, it wasn’t exactly how we wanted to kick off our planning and spending quite a bit of money with the venue. However what was very frustrating is 3 days before the event we received an email saying the our floor plan wouldn’t work because their tables couldn’t accommodate the amount of people we had placed at certain tables, even though the software they provided to us allowed it. Long story short it all worked out in the end and they covered the cost of renting larger tables, but it seemed a pretty big deal that floor plan software they had us use didn’t accurately reflect the pieces they owned.

My husband and I got married at the BARN this past weekend and cannot recommend it highly enough. As an initial matter, the space is beautiful and so dynamic. It was large enough to be its own rain plan, but intimate enough to make our wedding feel personal. We felt like we didn’t need to do any decorating, but nonetheless were able to get really creative and customize the main room and the horse stalls in each wing. And the grounds are beautiful as well – we were lucky enough to have nice weather and the lawns and bonfire added so much to our (and our guests’) experiences. On top of all that, the space has everything you need – there are bathrooms and parking on site, AC and heat, prep rooms for bride and groom. So, just a very beautiful and functional space – the complete package.

But there’s more. Throughout the entire planning process to the event itself, Blanche and Danni were irreplaceable. So responsive, supportive and organized. From our first site visit to the morning after the wedding, they made our experience so positive. They helped us create a wedding that felt authentic to us and we are so grateful.

The Barn is absolutely beautiful both inside and outside! It's a unique space that allows you to bring your vision to life and transform the space. Danni and Blanche were wonderful to work with and very helpful. We had our ceremony on one side of the barn, the cocktail hour on the other, and the reception inside, which was a great way to make use of all the beautiful property available to you. When planning, just note that the only things provided are one set of chairs, tables, and one bar. Anything beyond that will need to be rented from a rental company.

Really gorgeous venue, staff was great to work with.

The venue was beautiful! It was the ideal setting for that shabby chic rustic wedding. However, had I known what I know now, I may have chose another venue. The cost to simply host our wedding here was outrageous. We had to provide all outside vendors, which I feel should have been included for that cost or the price should have been lower since they were not included. I do not believe it cost that much just for a wedding site. Friends and family who have recently been married were surprised at the non-inclusive cost. We had to pay extra for the golf cart to escort our guests from parking and we had to pay extra for the bon fire, we needed an additional damage deposit and had to provide insurance for the day. Moving on, we scoped out our desired locations for photos with our photographer the week prior to the wedding. We chose a location with the barn as the backdrop on a semi-circle grassed area with plants behind us. The day of the wedding we were told we could not take pictures in that area on the grass and were asked by the venue owner to stand in front of the barn doors on the dirt. They apparently had planted fresh sod on the backside of the barn recently and roped it off for our wedding and told us to walk around on the dirt drive to get to the fire. So we not only stood on dirt for our pictures but had to walk on dirt to get to the fire, in our long dresses. During the bon fire the venue owner asked us why the wood was stacked so high. We had just watched an employee of the venue stack the wood and the owner said she did not believe her employee would stack the wood that high, he would know not to do that. During this conversation, we were told we had “15 minutes to leave the premises,” which was abrupt and upset some of our guests, who got up from the fire at that time and went home. My husband and I set aside time the next day to pack up and bring our decor home, as we have done when we helped at previous weddings. When we went inside from the fire, all of our stuff was packed in boxes and stacked in rooms. One of the groomsman’s pants is missing and had to be paid for and can’t be accounted for, despite the fact that he packed it in the bag with his name on it in the groom’s suite and all his other attire was there. Some of my guests inquired about why the venue owner was at our wedding the entire time and did not bother to dress for the occasion to attempt to blend in.
