My husband and I recently got married in the great state of Texas. We live out of state and had to plan everything by phone and took one trip to find a venue. We decided to have our wedding at the Barn at Hickory Creek and it was the BEST decision we ever made. This place is a well oiled machine. Breathtakingly beautiful does not even began to describe it. If you are looking for a barn wedding this is the place for you. Jenni and her staff are hands down the best. She was so professional and easy to work with. The barn looked like a picture from a magazine when Jenni was done decorating it. Everything went smooth, Jenni had it all under control, which gave me the freedom to breathe and enjoy the day. Flowers, tables, dj and photo booth area, you name it she had it done. I shared with her my vision and she made it come to light. There is not better out there, this venue and team are top notch. I could not have asked for a better venue! The barn was not completely finished when I first booked it for my wedding but my husband and I had already fallen in love with the venue! Jenni was always so helpful and had great ideas for placing decorations when I had no idea what to do. I LOVED everything about the barn and I couldn't have asked for a better venue! I cannot emphasize enough how fantastic the Shartles were to work with. They helped us every step of the way. The Barn is a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. The guests were so complimentary of the venue. The photographer loved the sight and the pictures were wonderful. I highly recommend The Barn.

The Barn at Hickory Creek is an absolutely gorgeous venue and was perfect for my daughter's wedding. The grounds are beautiful and the Barn is stunning, both inside and out. The patio was perfect for dancing. The owners were so helpful, offering suggestions for among other things, chair and table placement so that both the wedding ceremony and the reception could easily be held inside the Barn with minimal rearranging. It was also helpful that they were familiar with area vendors. I can't say enough wonderful things about this venue and the family that owns it. They made my daughter's special day perfect.

The Hickory Creek Barn was the PERFECT wedding venue!!!!! We couldn't have been more happy on our wedding day with the venue choice. We changed our venue to the Hickory Creek Barn just 3 months before the Wedding Day (little stressful lol) but the Shartle's were very accommodating to our needs! We also experienced a VERY cold winter and the Shartle's went above and beyond to make sure the windows were in place for the reception so that the barn would stay warm... we pumped it full of heat that morning! The Shartle's were also very accommodating to letting us bring wooden logs and a gas fire pit to put on the side of the barn so that we could have S'More roasting! The Barn was also a GREAT place for my bridesmaids and I to get ready for the Wedding... beautiful and comfortable room with plenty of space for lots of hair and makeup stations!

The Shartles have a beautiful venue! It was perfect for our son's engagement party. They were easy to work with and very accommodating. The venue setting and the views of the lake and sunset are perfect to capture the special moments of any special occasion.
