I don’t even know where to start — The 1932 Barn was the very first venue we toured, and we instantly knew it was the one. I (the bride) do a lot of research, and no other venue even came close to comparing.
Meeting Lori during our tour was the first sign that we were in incredible hands. If you want to meet someone who truly knows what she’s doing, go find Lori. She was confident in the best way possible, incredibly knowledgeable, and effortlessly answered all of my parents’ (slightly anxious!) questions, immediately putting us at ease.
From that point on, every step of the process was easy and stress-free. Honestly, it felt like all we had to do was book with them, and they took care of the rest. If you want a venue that allows you to truly enjoy your wedding day instead of stressing through it, book The 1932 Barn.
After booking, Michelle was always available and so thorough whenever we had questions, which made planning feel seamless. Hannah, our day-of coordinator, was absolutely perfect for us. Whether it was intentional matchmaking or the stars simply aligned, she matched our personalities and vision perfectly. She kept everything running smoothly and had our entire day under control while bringing such a fun, calm, and easygoing energy.
The entire experience — the staff, the coordination, and the venue itself — was absolutely perfect. If we could do it 100 times over, we wouldn’t change a single thing. We are so grateful to The 1932 Barn team for making our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more. -

My husband and I got married at the 1932 Barn three weeks ago, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We toured the venue in the fall and planned our entire wedding in less than four months—and the team made the whole process feel seamless.
From our initial tour with Kristina, to planning with Michelle, our design appointment with Lori and Sarah, and our Day-Of Coordinator Madalyn (THEE BEST!), every single person was patient, attentive, and incredibly supportive. They answered every question and made sure every detail we wanted came to life.
The rustic, warm atmosphere of the venue perfectly reflected who we are as a couple, and our guests felt it the moment they arrived. Most importantly, the team made sure we felt taken care of and able to fully enjoy our day.
100/10 — highly recommend! -

The whole venue staff was absolutely AMAZING!!! We had Madalyn for our coordinator and she was phenomenal. I can’t speak highly enough of the job she did. The decor package is also a must, we didn’t have to lift a finger and they designed everything just how we wanted. They truly made our wedding day dreams come true! -

Beautiful rustic wedding venue
The 1932 Barn was a beautiful venue for our daughter’s wedding! It met all of our expectations! It was a great experience working with Michelle & Hannah. They were great with communicating and answered questions quickly. The venue is beautiful both inside and outside! Thank you to Hannah and the staff for making our daughter’s wedding day beautiful! -

the wedding of our dreams
My husband and I got married here in the middle of December 2025. Our original venue had to cancel in late August of 2025 and we were scrambling to find a place that had our date available, a good reputation and an atmosphere that we both needed. My husband stumbled across the 1932 Barn and within a day we were invited to tour. Upon arrival we met Kristina, who is SUCH A DELIGHT! She answered all of our questions and went the extra mile to make this happen for us. Michelle was our coordinator and throughout the couple of months leading up to our wedding, she did all she could to ease our minds and help us plan the wedding of our dreams. Her and Sarah were our coordinators day of and let me tell you, they were born for this job. My husband and I were both so nervous and they were there to make sure everything went according to plan.
We truly had a wedding that was more magical than we could have ever imagined. The staff are kind, generous and down to earth. They care about the families that come and go. I would recommend this venue 100/10!
It was worth every penny! -

Look no further than the 1932 barn!
The 1932 Barn is incredible! Don’t worry about searching for the perfect venue, because this is it!
Many of our guests said that this was the best wedding they’d been to, and the venue was a big part of that.
Not only is the 1932 barn beautiful (from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception), the organization and coordination is top-tier. The staff are professional, responsive, and organized. And they do everything with a smile on their face!
I was so worried about the day. Whether the decor would be set up in my vision or the vendors would all know what to do and where to go. But when I got the venue that morning, I could tell it was all taken care of.
My wedding was everything I wanted it to be and more. Thank you to Lori and Michelle! And a HUGE thank you to Hannah (our day of coordinator) for pulling it all together and making sure I wasn’t stressed -

I’ve had this venue booked for two years, as soon as I toured it I knew we were done searching. A stunning venue accompanied by an experienced team of professionals who never make you feel like a bother for having 1000 questions, I felt like I had a team holding my hand the whole time. Lori is responsive, incredibly helpful and intelligent, and knows exactly how to make your day one that you and your guests love! Hannah, our day of coordinator through 1932 was available all day, checked in on us regularly, and had the day running smooth as butter. You cannot go wrong with 1932 barn, and I’m so grateful for everyone! -

We had our wedding at 1932 Barn in May, and it was magical. Our priority was to gather all of our favorite people in the same place, and to throw a huge party, but we didn't give much thought to the details. When we went into the planning process, we didn't have any interest in flowers, table settings, etc. Lori and her team filled in ALL of the blanks for us. The entire process and night was coordinated seamlessly (my guests kept commenting on how efficient the buffet line was and how much they liked having name tags on their cocktail glasses), allowing us to focus on each other and our guests.
Also, the venue is stunning. We had obviously visited to check it out initially, but were blown away when we arrived for our wedding. The venue is located on a working farm, so there were animals out at sunset (which our guests loved). For decorations, 1932 Barn has artificial florals which they'll arrange and clean up for you. I loved that this kept the entire event relatively low-waste.
I could go on forever- it truly was the best night. I'm sad it's over (maybe we'll come back for our 50th anniversary-lol). Thank you so much Lori & team! -

I cannot say enough great things about the 1932 Barn as a wedding venue! Leading up to the wedding, the team was there to answer any question that I had and would go above and beyond in checking to make sure I was on track with planning. They even include decor and design in their cost which was so helpful because I didn't even know where to start!
The day of our wedding it poured rain all morning. Hannah and Margo kept me posted on the plan and continuously checked the radar to see when the rain would let up. The rain stopped right before our ceremony and the venue team went out and wiped off all the seating and left umbrellas close in case it started again. To me, that meant the world. They knew people pick their venue to try to be outside and were willing to do all they could to get us out there. It ended up not raining the remainder of the night so everything was perfect:)
Overall, our day was perfect in every way and I can't imagine getting married anywhere else. My husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing and our guests are still talking about how perfect everything was which is all thanks to the venue team! -

I got married here two weeks ago and would recommend The 1932 Barn to anyone looking for a wedding venue! We loved the rustic and warm atmosphere which is what sold us on this space. Lori is incredible to work with. She was so patient with me with all of my questions and when I had my design appointment with her, she looked at my inspo photos and made everything come to life! Hannah was our day of coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! She answered my hundreds of emails and questions leading up to the wedding with such patience and kindness. On the day of the wedding she made sure everything ran smoothly, she helped my bridal party with anything they needed, and she (and other staff) set up the wedding of my dreams. Quick shoutout to Andy and Jimmie, our bartenders for the night, they were also outstanding. They were fast and efficient and our signature cocktails were DELICIOUS! I absolutely cannot say enough good things about this venue! -

I can not say enough about the amazing experience of working with Lori and her team. They were so organized and made my daughter's wedding day everything she wanted and more. Their location is wonderful. Their help and organization were flawless and they made it a day full of memories to be treasured forever. We knew from the moment we met them that they would do everything they could to make the day magical and perfect. This venue and the staff are the only place you need to look for a wedding. They are the best to work with and the best at what they do! I could not possibly recommend this venue more! The entire experience over the year of planning up to and including the day was stress-free because of them. They make wedding dreams come true! -

The 1932 Barn is TRULY the best place to get married. I am not kidding you when I say the staff is just absolutely amazing. Michelle was our lead for our wedding and she is INCREDIBLE. Words cannot describe how grateful I was to have her there that day with me. She was quite literally the talk of the town with her work in helping us. All of the staff helped me along as there was unfortunately rain in the forecast. They were so sweet and let me wait until the very last minute to decide whether or not to have it inside or outside. We did have it outside and they were completely prepared as a storm hit AS SOON as ceremony ended. Their package, staff, inventory, and help is what sold us. They were actually our first and only venue we looked at and we could not be more happier with our decision! They all take their parts very seriously and make you feel like you are the only person matters. I was actually recovering from being sick the week of and Michelle had brought me food and Tylenol to get my fever down. Right before the reception, my dress broke and Michelle literally comes to the rescue and sews it on me. I'm telling you, this woman is a superstar. We loved everyone and all The 1932 Barn did for us! You will not regret booking with them! -

Best.Wedding.Venue.Ever
Lori and her entire team are miracle workers. My husband and I looked at SO many wedding venues online knowing that we would be getting married out of state and as soon as we found 1932 Barn, we knew it was perfect.
Lori went above and beyond to communicate and make planning the wedding from out of state feel as easy as possible. Our design appointment was incredibly fun and helpful during the process.
The week of our wedding a hurricane was forecast to hit Charlotte on our wedding day but I knew that we were in good hands with the venue, Lori, and her team. They were one step ahead in making sure everything was going to still be perfect. Thankfully the storm came the day before and we were able to enjoy and celebrate without any rain.
As a producer/manager, I was looking for a venue that would let me not have to wear that hat for the day and just enjoy and 1932 Barn exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this venue to those who are looking to not have to manage things on the day of your wedding, have it be a one-stop shop for ceremony and reception, have a venue with very impressive vendor connections and have your wedding be in a beautiful location. All of our guests were beyond impressed and in love. My husband and I are forever grateful for having our wedding here. Thank you Lori!! -

My Husband and I had decided early on that we wanted to have a morning wedding, with just a few of our close friends and family. The 1932 Barn team was able to deliver us exactly what we wanted: a 35 guest brunch wedding at 10:00 am on a beautiful October morning. Lori, Christina and the rest of the team do an amazing job; they are so communicative, flexible, and willing to do anything to make your day perfect! You will have the most gorgeous wedding if you choose to have your special day here! -

If you’re reading this and looking for a wedding venue near Charlotte, I’d suggest you go ahead and book the 1932 Barn NOW! I spent hours researching wedding venues across North Carolina, and ultimately decided on the 1932 Barn for many reasons, any one of which alone would be reason enough to book.
First off, the venue is beautiful, rustic, and historic, and yet still within a taxi ride of a major city, making it a convenient location for our out-of-town guests, unlike most other barn wedding venues you’ll find which can often be remote and hard to access.
Second, Lori and her thoughtful team have MASTERED the wedding day-of coordination. They know the in’s and out’s of how to work with the vendors and set everything up, so that the wedding day runs as smoothly as possible. They’ve thought of everything and have back-up plans for whatever could go wrong, and on the wedding day, I felt totally taken care of. Lori and her team went above and beyond to accommodate my wishes as a bride (even when the pandemic derailed our original plans.) They were patient with me, answering my long list of questions.
Finally, the design consultation is the icing on the cake! They offer a humongous selection of decor for the bride to choose from, everything I could’ve dreamed up to match my aesthetic. Also, it was a total relief to not have to worry about finding and buying all that decor myself, let alone having to set it up and take it down—Lori’s team took care of all of that!
Go ahead and book! I wish I could do it all over again! -

My daughter was married at the 1932 Barn on Sunday, October 18th, 2020. It was a long journey to get to this day....Lori and her team helped to make it everything she imagined. The venue is gorgeous, and made more beautiful by the attention to detail by Lori and her team! So magical! The night was cool, and blankets were thoughtfully available for the guests! What a great touch! We didn't have to worry about a thing; Lori and her team took care of everything, working in concert with our caterer and DJ to ensure a smooth, exciting, night!

Our Reception Venue was best in class!
My husband and I had another venue picked out, and after looking at everything for a few months, we came to the conclusion that w just could not make it work. I was so anxious and nervous because basically all venues in the Charlotte area were booked for our April 27, 2019 wedding. Lori at the barn was one of the first people I talked to when first shopping for a venue, and I reached out to her after she kept in touch with me for several months. She cleared her day to give me a tour, gave me all information I needed up front, offered different pricing packages, and was so responsive and sweet. She is a true professional and she definitely knows what she is doing. I can be somewhat of a worry wart, and my husband is in the service industry. She and her team demonstrated all the things we wanted and needed. Besides that, the Barn is so affordable for what you get. You receive a whole team to work your day (complete with Lori), decor, tables, chairs, glasses, dishes, sparklers etc. Those things in itself are usually not included and add up fast! If you have an idea in mind, Lori probably has it, or will work to find it. She and her husband are constantly making upgrades to the property. She is also great about noticing the little moments you need a photographer, when your gifts need to be packed, who they go with, etc. The girls who worked my event had to fix my bustle the day of (twice) and were able to do so with a safety pin and super glue! You could tell they have run across any problem you have had and are not afraid to get in there and help. I received the best compliments from our guests, and they said it was one of the best weddings they've been to. It is a huge compliment, and I know we could not have done it without The 1932 Barn and their staff. If you never thought you'd use a barn for your wedding (it wasn't what I originally pictured) please reconsider just to have this venue on your big day. -

I had my wedding here in October of 2018. Almost 6 months later and my guests are still raving about it. It was the most dreamy night and everything my husband and I could have hoped for. We highly recommend this venue to everyone searching for a venue in the Charlotte area. Lori and Diana were super easy to communicate with while planning and both took phenomenal care of us on the day of. They totally understood my taste and style and made the night truly reflect mine and my husband's personalities! Thanks for the best night of our lives!!
