I can not say enough about the amazing experience of working with Lori and her team. They were so organized and made my daughter's wedding day everything she wanted and more. Their location is wonderful. Their help and organization were flawless and they made it a day full of memories to be treasured forever. We knew from the moment we met them that they would do everything they could to make the day magical and perfect. This venue and the staff are the only place you need to look for a wedding. They are the best to work with and the best at what they do! I could not possibly recommend this venue more! The entire experience over the year of planning up to and including the day was stress-free because of them. They make wedding dreams come true!

Leanne and Lori were absolutely amazing. We got married at the end of October this year and I couldn’t have asked for a better venue. They communicated with us for everything and made it so so easy.They were so welcoming and friendly and the Barn is just gorgeous. They took care of it all on the day of and made my wedding day stress free! I cannot thank them enough. I definitely recommend having your wedding here.

The 1932 Barn is TRULY the best place to get married. I am not kidding you when I say the staff is just absolutely amazing. Michelle was our lead for our wedding and she is INCREDIBLE. Words cannot describe how grateful I was to have her there that day with me. She was quite literally the talk of the town with her work in helping us. All of the staff helped me along as there was unfortunately rain in the forecast. They were so sweet and let me wait until the very last minute to decide whether or not to have it inside or outside. We did have it outside and they were completely prepared as a storm hit AS SOON as ceremony ended. Their package, staff, inventory, and help is what sold us. They were actually our first and only venue we looked at and we could not be more happier with our decision! They all take their parts very seriously and make you feel like you are the only person matters. I was actually recovering from being sick the week of and Michelle had brought me food and Tylenol to get my fever down. Right before the reception, my dress broke and Michelle literally comes to the rescue and sews it on me. I'm telling you, this woman is a superstar. We loved everyone and all The 1932 Barn did for us! You will not regret booking with them!

The 1932 barn was the perfect place for our wedding! We could not have been happier working with Lori and Mike. In every step of the process, they were professional, one step ahead, and so kind and easy to work with. They were a huge reason we picked the 1932 barn after touring a half dozen venues. The indoor and outsoor spaces are beautiful, and well suited to a wedding of 100+ guests. If you choose the 1932 barn, you made a great choice!

I Should have left this review a while ago, but time got away from me. I just can't say it enough about how wonderful the staff of The 1932 Barn was to work with to help us celebrate our daughter and her husband's wonderful day! Their friendly guidance, smiles, endless assistance, appearing at the right times to ask if we needed help, what we might want to drink, giving us direction, even telling us so kindly that something needed to be done differently, and genuinely seeming to enjoy working with us and our guests made the day that much more special!
Thank you doesn't seem like enough when the event was so important to our family! I would RUN not walk to have your wedding, anniversary, or any event, at The 1932 Barn!

Absolutely incredible venue! Would 100% choose again if I had to do it all over (but hopefully not, I'll just convince all my friends instead.) Lori and team help with every detail along the way, making planning a wedding yourself very possible and easy, to then managing every second on the wedding day so it's completely seamless, and you actually enjoy the entirety of your day. Also they include decorating that is unique to you and your style, with incredible flexibility for any vision you have. They have truly set up a beautiful place to celebrate love, from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception and dancing. I loved that it was all in one spot, but also all the pictures look completely unique and as if you're not anywhere near people that could be in the background. It's on a farm where you really feel as if you've left the city, but also there are all the amenities of having a fairytale wedding. The 1932 Barn, from the beautiful structure to friendly service, really made my dreams come true. I wish I could give them extra stars!

If you want to have a barn wedding in Charlotte, this is your sign to do it at The 1932 Barn!! Lori and her team handled the day-of-coordination perfectly. She provided all the planning tools I needed to plan the wedding of my dreams. All of her recommended vendors did an amazing job. All of our guests had such a great time, and Lori was flexible, attentive, and kind the entire time. The design session is so much fun and stress-free. The venue is so naturally gorgeous on its own, and Lori still went above and beyond to make sure the decor was stunning and representative of our vision. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose The 1932 Barn again in a heartbeat.

Lori and her entire team are miracle workers. My husband and I looked at SO many wedding venues online knowing that we would be getting married out of state and as soon as we found 1932 Barn, we knew it was perfect.
Lori went above and beyond to communicate and make planning the wedding from out of state feel as easy as possible. Our design appointment was incredibly fun and helpful during the process.
The week of our wedding a hurricane was forecast to hit Charlotte on our wedding day but I knew that we were in good hands with the venue, Lori, and her team. They were one step ahead in making sure everything was going to still be perfect. Thankfully the storm came the day before and we were able to enjoy and celebrate without any rain.
As a producer/manager, I was looking for a venue that would let me not have to wear that hat for the day and just enjoy and 1932 Barn exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this venue to those who are looking to not have to manage things on the day of your wedding, have it be a one-stop shop for ceremony and reception, have a venue with very impressive vendor connections and have your wedding be in a beautiful location. All of our guests were beyond impressed and in love. My husband and I are forever grateful for having our wedding here. Thank you Lori!!

We have had a wonderful time working with and at 1932 Barn for wedding, social and corporate events over the years! We highly recommend their beautiful venue. The staff is just as great as their venue. We look forward to catering our next event there soon.

My daughter and son-in-law were married in May 2022 at the 1932 Barn. I can't say enough about Lori and her staff. They were caring and professional and made sure everything was perfect. Everything looked beautiful, and it was truly a magical day for both of them. I'd highly recommend the barn to someone looking for a special venue.

My husband and I got married on October 23rd. The staff was absolutely amazing and so attentive. They made the day go so smoothly, I couldn't have asked for a better day. Lori and Diana were an absolute dream. They were very responsive to my emails and answered all of my questions even before I had them. The day was perfect and I would recommend them to everyone!

Lori and her team were so supportive and helpful from the moment we booked with them. The day of our wedding was not quite what we had in mind. Lori’s team helped make our day the best it could be. I could not thank them enough for everything they did for us!

My Husband and I had decided early on that we wanted to have a morning wedding, with just a few of our close friends and family. The 1932 Barn team was able to deliver us exactly what we wanted: a 35 guest brunch wedding at 10:00 am on a beautiful October morning. Lori, Christina and the rest of the team do an amazing job; they are so communicative, flexible, and willing to do anything to make your day perfect! You will have the most gorgeous wedding if you choose to have your special day here!

Lori and her team were incredible! They handled every single detail beautifully. They kept us on time throughout the day and helped to handle any issues that came up - where were practically none. Our guests kept commenting on how beautiful the venue was and how friendly and helpful the staff were. We would 10/10 recommend booking the 1932 barn!

My daughter was married at the 1932 Barn on Sunday, October 18th, 2020. It was a long journey to get to this day....Lori and her team helped to make it everything she imagined. The venue is gorgeous, and made more beautiful by the attention to detail by Lori and her team! So magical! The night was cool, and blankets were thoughtfully available for the guests! What a great touch! We didn't have to worry about a thing; Lori and her team took care of everything, working in concert with our caterer and DJ to ensure a smooth, exciting, night!

Loved 1932 Barn! Our wedding was the best day of my life! Lori won us over from the first moment we met her, the fact that most of the decorations are included was a massive reason we decided to get married here. Leading up to the wedding was organized and easy and the day of was totally stress free and they were so kind and helpful!

If you’re reading this and looking for a wedding venue near Charlotte, I’d suggest you go ahead and book the 1932 Barn NOW! I spent hours researching wedding venues across North Carolina, and ultimately decided on the 1932 Barn for many reasons, any one of which alone would be reason enough to book.

First off, the venue is beautiful, rustic, and historic, and yet still within a taxi ride of a major city, making it a convenient location for our out-of-town guests, unlike most other barn wedding venues you’ll find which can often be remote and hard to access.

Second, Lori and her thoughtful team have MASTERED the wedding day-of coordination. They know the in’s and out’s of how to work with the vendors and set everything up, so that the wedding day runs as smoothly as possible. They’ve thought of everything and have back-up plans for whatever could go wrong, and on the wedding day, I felt totally taken care of. Lori and her team went above and beyond to accommodate my wishes as a bride (even when the pandemic derailed our original plans.) They were patient with me, answering my long list of questions.

Finally, the design consultation is the icing on the cake! They offer a humongous selection of decor for the bride to choose from, everything I could’ve dreamed up to match my aesthetic. Also, it was a total relief to not have to worry about finding and buying all that decor myself, let alone having to set it up and take it down—Lori’s team took care of all of that!

Go ahead and book! I wish I could do it all over again!

What a magical day for our daughter's wedding. The staff at the 1932 Barn treated us like family for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception. Can't say enough about Lori and her husband. They were both on top of everything that was going on both days. It was fun to watch the property "come to life" as they decorated the venue from the rehearsal dinner on Friday night to the reception on Saturday. Our guest were very impressed with everything and had a wonderful experience due to the hard work that this team put in to make this such a memorable day. I highly recommend this venue for your special wedding celebration.

The 1932 Barn is amazing. The staff was extremely organized and professional. Each staff member went the extra mile to make our wedding day perfect. Not only did they make the day of the wedding special, Lori made the process leading up to the wedding stress-free. We couldn’t recommend the venue enough to everyone. We are so grateful for each staff members help to ensure our day was perfect.

My husband and I had another venue picked out, and after looking at everything for a few months, we came to the conclusion that w just could not make it work. I was so anxious and nervous because basically all venues in the Charlotte area were booked for our April 27, 2019 wedding. Lori at the barn was one of the first people I talked to when first shopping for a venue, and I reached out to her after she kept in touch with me for several months. She cleared her day to give me a tour, gave me all information I needed up front, offered different pricing packages, and was so responsive and sweet. She is a true professional and she definitely knows what she is doing. I can be somewhat of a worry wart, and my husband is in the service industry. She and her team demonstrated all the things we wanted and needed. Besides that, the Barn is so affordable for what you get. You receive a whole team to work your day (complete with Lori), decor, tables, chairs, glasses, dishes, sparklers etc. Those things in itself are usually not included and add up fast! If you have an idea in mind, Lori probably has it, or will work to find it. She and her husband are constantly making upgrades to the property. She is also great about noticing the little moments you need a photographer, when your gifts need to be packed, who they go with, etc. The girls who worked my event had to fix my bustle the day of (twice) and were able to do so with a safety pin and super glue! You could tell they have run across any problem you have had and are not afraid to get in there and help. I received the best compliments from our guests, and they said it was one of the best weddings they've been to. It is a huge compliment, and I know we could not have done it without The 1932 Barn and their staff. If you never thought you'd use a barn for your wedding (it wasn't what I originally pictured) please reconsider just to have this venue on your big day.

We absolutely loved our October wedding at the 1932 barn! The property was gorgeous that day in the fall. Lori and her staff worked closely with us to make sure everything looked exactly how we wanted it. She let us come by and walk the property a week prior to the wedding in order to talk through our vision. Her staff helped to make sure there was a plan in place in case of rain and that all guests were able to stay warm throughout the event. We were impressed by the flexibility of the venue to adapt to our wishes in terms of where the ceremony would be located on the property. The access to a wide variety of décor was a game changer. I was able to pick out exactly what would match my vision for the wedding without having to worry about the price of each individual item. This is an awesome perk that you will not find at other wedding venues! Lori’s excitement and passion were what originally sold us on the venue, but her entire staff’s hard work to make the day a reality was what made the day truly memorable. Her work and coordination with us leading up to the wedding was the reason we felt like we didn’t need a wedding planner. On the day of the wedding, we didn't have to worry about setup or preparation - we simply enjoyed the day. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this venue!

I had my wedding here in October of 2018. Almost 6 months later and my guests are still raving about it. It was the most dreamy night and everything my husband and I could have hoped for. We highly recommend this venue to everyone searching for a venue in the Charlotte area. Lori and Diana were super easy to communicate with while planning and both took phenomenal care of us on the day of. They totally understood my taste and style and made the night truly reflect mine and my husband's personalities! Thanks for the best night of our lives!!

Lori and her staff at The Barn were absolutely amazing! We had our wedding reception here in November and it ran flawlessly! From the beautiful decor they provided to the set up and the coordination, we couldn't have asked for a better place and team to work with. This was my dream wedding and it wouldn't have been complete without The 1932 Barn!

I honestly don't even know where to begin! The staff, the venue, the decor, EVERYTHING exceeded our expectations far beyond what we ever would have imagined. Prior to the wedding, the staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful to make sure that we could work together to have everything prepared. They were ON THE BALL the day of our wedding and both my husband and I know it would not have run that smoothly without them. I think one of our groomsmen/family members misplaced the sparklers and before I even knew it had happened, Lori and her staff had found replacement sparklers that were ready to go. We honestly couldn't have asked for better people to help us with our wedding and I hope that we get to work with them in the future just because they're amazing individuals! If you book with Lori, you will not be disappointed and I guarantee you will have the best day of your life. We honestly can't thank them all enough!
