  Incredible Day of Coordinator

  LaVerne is an incredible Day of Coordinator. The day of our wedding was seamless, thanks to her. She goes far beyond the expectations of a "Day of Coordinator" and reaches out to her clients months in advance to see what aspects she can help with. She took so much off our plate and was great with check ins. She is wonderful and such a joy to work with!

  Amazing! 100% recommend!

  That Special Touch Events is AMAZING! My husband and I hired LaVerne as a day of coordinator and she went above and beyond to make our day picture-perfect! She even helped with planning and virtually met with us along the way to help us stay on track with planning. I do not know what we would have done without her! LaVerne is experienced and knowledgeable about weddings and listens and adapts traditions to what the couple wants. Truly, hire LaVerne! It was the best decision we made for our big day! She helped us with all the logistics of the day and made us feel calm on a stressful day. 100% recommend That Special Touch Events!

  Wonderful!

  Because we planned to get married In Illinois, it was VERY difficult planning from NJ. That Special Touch Events was our savior. So thankful to have had LeVerne sent to us! She put a calm over any problem that came during the planning process and solved. She always had a smile on her face and positive all the way through her assistant was awesome as well. If planning any event please go with That Special Touch Events!!!!

  The Wedding they dreamed of - thank you!

  In the middle of everything this year, my son and his fiancee needed to change their wedding venue. They went from a traditional venue to our back yard. LaVerne and everyone on her team worked miracles to make this the wedding of their dreams. Working with tent and material rental companies, the caterer and helping the bride have the centerpieces that she wanted. And, she relieved so much stress for me, Mother of the Groom, and hostess of the event. Thank you so much. I would recommend That Special Touch for anyone

  Amazing! Fantastic!

  LaVerne and her team were absolutely AMAZING. Being a COVID bride and having to change my original plans, I was lost and so confused as well as worried and feeling a lot of grief. My (now) husband's mother suggested reaching out to LaVerne to discuss our "back up" wedding plans and I am so beyond glad she suggested it. From the first moment of meeting LaVerne I felt all of the worry disappear. We had roughly one month to come up with new decor, new ideas, and a new plan and LaVerne went above and beyond to help me and keep me excited and engaged. It can be hard changing all of your plans due to what is going on in the world but LaVerne gave me such ease. My backyard reception was more than I could have ever dreamed and it made my day beyond beautiful. LaVerne is creative, talented, patient, energetic...literally a bride's dream. I could not thank her enough for all of that she did for me. Her staff was just as sweet and passionate about making our day perfect. I literally cannot even express just how perfect our day was and how much we LOVED working with LaVerne.

  I couldn't have done it without her!

  Planning a wedding is a very daunting task, and while I'm pretty savvy, I knew I couldn't do it myself. LaVerne and her team were there when I absolutely needed them. She thought of things that I never would have, and she took the reins on my big day to make sure things went absolutely perfectly. If you're looking for a planner who covers all your bases and doesn't break the bank, this is it!!

  LaVerne and her team were with us since day one to help me plan my wedding. She helped me for a whole year until the very last minute of our 4th of July wedding day!! Throughout the planning process she provided us with many suggestions and recommendations that proved to be very valuable! She also did an excellent job making sure that I stayed on task every month with wedding tasks that she would give me to help keep the planning on track.Thanks to all of her help I was able to have the most wonderful experience on the most important day of my life! Thanks to her, my entire wedding party and I were able to have a stress-free day. She took care of overseeing everything was running smoothly and on time, from our party bus to our entertainment to our flowers to our candy buffet. Her many years of experience and education and professionalism help her be the BEST wedding planner in Chicago and surrounding suburbs!!! I highly recommend That Special Touch Events to help coordinate any event!   I have in the past worked with That Special Touch. They are an awesome organization to work with. They arrive hours before the event is to take place and stays until the last guest has gone. Very professional with the client and guests. They are reputable and I would highly recommend them for your next special event.

  I recommend That special touch events to all brides. The company truely goes above and beyond most planners. I was able to contact Mrs. LaVerne at any time and she also thought of things I didn't think about for my wedding. Mrs. Laverne did an excellent job of calling and responding to all calls/ and emails. We were able to work within my budget. My wedding was truely worry free with Mrs. Lavern and her team. She kept me sane during the planning stages. Planning a wedding in less than six months was a lot easier with Mrs. Lavern and her team. She even contacted the hotel's to ensure my guests had a good rate on their rooms. I live approximatly four hours away from Mrs. Lavern and she made an extra trip to come down and view my reception hall (even though they had to take pictures from the window). :) Mrs. Lavern even kept in contact with my bridesmaids. She definatley went well above and beyond and I would recommend her to anyone. Thanks so much Auntie... Mr. and Mrs. Nelson
