Terry truly was the most thoughtful, professional, and stress-relieving glue that made our whole wedding stay together! Our vision was unique. She sought to understand it well, and she made it come to life better than either of us could have ever imagined! From the moment we started planning with her, I knew we were in good hands. Nothing ever seemed too much for her, we knew she would make it happen- whether it was coordinating live lambs at our cocktail hour or filling our indoor reception with lush trees, it all came to life! Wedding planning can be stressful, and moments when I didn’t know what to say or what decision to make, I knew that Terry would help. I trusted her to walk through it with us or make the call for us in times when I felt overwhelmed. She never made us feel rushed or pressured, and her communication was extremely clear. Working with Terry Kaye was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From start to finish, she was uber organized, attentive, and an absolute joy to work with.
Terry made the entire planning process feel effortless. She was always available for calls and emails, no matter how many questions we had — and there were a lot! Every detail was handled with care and professionalism. She kept us perfectly on track with timelines, checklists, and reminders, which made the months leading up to our wedding completely stress-free.
One of the things we appreciated most was Terry’s expert advice and eye for detail when it came to setting up the space. She thought through every element — from food stations and bar placement to musician setup and guest flow — making sure everything worked together seamlessly. The result was a layout that looked beautiful and functioned perfectly for our guests.
Thanks to Terry, our wedding day was exactly how we wanted it. We even had some challenges with our caterer, but we had no idea until after the wedding because Terry picked up the slack and took care of it. She truly went above and beyond in making sure that she was able to cover where they fell short.

palindrome 5/25/25!!
Hello all!
This is a very delayed review from our perfect wedding over memorial day weekend this May 2025. Where do I start? Terry planned everything with our wonderful sister-in-law Maria and it was start to finish perfect. We had a small wedding in Marshall VA at a beautiful venue that happened to be a historic farmhouse of our sisters. Terry took charge. We both live 5 hours from Marshall VA and I am a physician and my husband is a weapons security trainer for Navy nuclear lab, each working 60 plus hours a week, plus children. We let Terry with Maria helping plan our weekend of celebration. Family stayed in the beautiful farmhouse Friday and Saturday was a Fiesta themed rehearsal dinner. I've attached a few pictures. Again, this was all Terry's idea fully equipped with live food stations and build-our-own burrito taco bar-with rice, grilled fajita veggies, chicken and steak and of course guacamole. Also, a fully stocked margarita bar with our own personal creative bartender. The tent in the pictures itself was gorgeous! All I had to worry about was talking with friends and family for the rehearsal. Colorful dresses were worn and smiles throughout the night!!
The day of delivery Saturday am Terry was present the entire day. She oversaw setup and even noticed one piece of this tent did not match. Oh boy, without two hours, the matching piece was delivered! The ceremony was off a staircase that led into a field overlooking a specular farm. Terry made sure the chairs, seating, and flowers were perfect for the seen. Full disclosure: I am not a good designer, decorator, or into fashion much. I had no idea how to start from square one. No need to worry ladies and gents! She's got it! We did a tasting 2 months prior with Black garlic (listed below) and yes Terry was present. She was present ALLLL weekend over Memorial Day and fielding phone calls and questions. Her demeanor is always very calm and soothing, and direct. A woman with answers! The flowers, food, ceremony, and reception were perfect. Also, I had a catastrophe. Somehow during pictures prior to the ceremony, grease appeared covering the end of my wedding dress. She was on it. I am just so appreciative of Terry and Kristen (photographer listed below) and Black garlic and DJ (also listed below). I literally could not have asked for a more special, free-flowing, overjoyed night. God Bless her and her wonderful family and thank you for making mine become one.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Terry Kaye Events! Terry stepped in at the last minute after our previous arrangements fell through and immediately made us feel organized, supported, and back on track. Her warm and kind personality put us at ease, yet she knew exactly when to be assertive with vendors and family to keep everything running smoothly and keep the timeline on track.
Her communication style was consistently clear, calm, and reassuring, which helped us feel grounded throughout the entire process. Everyone felt relaxed after meeting her and knew we were in capable hands. Her support allowed us to be fully present on our wedding day at Stone Tower Winery in August and focus on making unforgettable memories as newlyweds.
She was always responsive to questions (big or small) and her attention to detail was impeccable. On the wedding day, her team was top-notch, ensuring that everything flowed seamlessly so we could truly enjoy every moment.
As a bride, I enjoyed the resources and prep tools she provided and advice on how to streamline all aspects of our event. She empowered us to make decisions that felt like “us”, while providing enough input to build our confidence to execute the vision.
We are so grateful for Terry and her team for turning what could have been a stressful situation into a joyful, smooth, and beautifully organized experience. It is always an honor to work with someone who is truly an expert in their field.

TKE Made Our Wedding Day Stress-Free and Seamless!
Terry and her team at Terry Kaye Events (TKE) were absolutely amazing to work with, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Nicole. From the very beginning, Nicole was incredibly organized, calm, and thorough, which immediately made us feel comfortable and confident throughout the planning process. She helped us seamlessly navigate working with our other vendors, offered thoughtful design ideas, and made sure every detail was handled with care. Her communication was always timely and responsive and she would spend time with us over Zoom or over the phone walking through the timeline and other important items. Ultimately, she truly became our biggest supporter from start to finish.
On the wedding day itself, Nicole’s presence was invaluable. She kept everything running smoothly and stress-free, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy the celebration without worrying about logistics. The Perfect Balance of Style, Leadership, and Heart
Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming at first, but from the moment I met Terry, I felt at ease. What drew me to her initially was her incredible sense of style and design and I knew I wanted that to shine throughout our day. Guest experience was so important to us, and with her guidance we had the bright pops of color, gorgeous flowers, and an amazing band we had envisioned.
Terry is so easy to talk to! It honestly feels like chatting with a friend who just wanted the best for us. She brings with her a trusted list of vendors and thoughtful suggestions, which we really appreciated. Beyond her creativity, she’s a natural leader with a calm, steady presence that set us up for success from start to finish.
On our wedding day at the Birkby House in Leesburg, the weather radar showed a storm heading straight for us right at ceremony time. Terry immediately presented us with options, explaining the pros and cons without adding stress. Her smile, positivity, and calm confidence helped me stay grounded in the joy of the day, no matter what happened.
After interviewing half a dozen planners, Terry rose to the top. She exceeded our expectations in every way, and I can’t recommend her highly enough.

My Wedding Super Woman
Kelsey (with Terry Kaye Events) is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Kelsey was very prompt and responsive to all my emails. She is a very good organizer, communicator, and leader. I was a DIY bride and she (and Sophia) helped me put to life all of my visions and ideas. Everything at my wedding was on point and on schedule (thank you, Kelsey!!!). Our venue was a little difficult to work with but Kelsey took that burden off of my shoulder. She gave me the security and confidence whenever I feel anxious and unsure. I could have not asked for a better coordinator. We were very lucky to have Kelsey coordinate our wedding. BONUS: She was a content creator too! Terry Kaye Events is amazing! My husband and I had Kelsey as our 90 days out/day of coordinator. Right after we had our first meeting with Kelsey, I felt much less stressed about wedding planning. She was so organized and got me on track for the remaining wedding planning tasks. Kelsey’s timeline for our wedding day was extremely detailed and was very helpful for me to refer to the weeks and days leading up to the wedding. I know it was helpful for all of our vendors, too! Our wedding day ran smoothly thanks to Kelsey. She was especially a huge help when it came to making day of decisions, such as whether to move the ceremony indoors because of the weather. Terry Kaye Events is AMAZING. When I met with Terry originally she made me feel so comfortable and I could tell that she really valued taking a lot of the burden off her brides and being a true liaison between me and my vendors. Our planner - Hannah, certainly did this but went above and beyond for us. She was a true friend in this process, helped me make decor decisions, made recommendations based on her experiences, and even stored rose petals personally for me so that they could stay refrigerated. On the day of my wedding I was completely stress-free and knew everything would be taken care of by Hannah and her team, and it was. They brought my vision to life and it was more beautiful than I could have imagined. The night went smooth and Hannah and her team packed everything up for us so that my husband and I could truly enjoy our wedding night. You will not regret booking Terry Kaye Events and I would personally request Hannah!!!

From the beginning of our planning process, Terry was always so responsive and happy to help with any questions I had. When we were assigned to work with Kelsey as our month-of coordinator, I knew we were in great hands. Kelsey is so sweet, helpful, and on top of every detail that I didn’t even know I needed to think about! She coordinated with all our vendors leading up to our wedding and I’m positive our day wouldn’t have been what it turned out to be without her and Abby. I can’t put into words how thankful we are to have had them around. Beyond Expectations: The Terry Kaye Experience
I’m having a hard time putting into words how incredible my wedding planning experience was with Terry. Wedding planning is so multifaceted and Terry and her team hit the ball out of the park every single step of the way.
From the moment I first met Terry, we hit it off. Not only is she wonderful at her job but she is an amazing person, which is so so important. She gives great advice, is always there to listen to you and seems to always know how to get you in the right direction.
I am someone who gets overwhelmed when there are unlimited options and decisions to be made but Terry made it all easy. She caught my overall vibe so quickly and knew exactly what I would like and wouldn’t like. She has so many resources and lists that help keep you organized and on track. I did not have one worry the entire day. Like AT ALL. Every single team member I walked up to on my wedding day, knew exactly what was going on, where my stuff was (this is huge because I lose everything), what needed to happen next, etc etc.
I actually had some down time on my wedding day - which I feel like is unheard of!!! I got to sit and hang out with my bridesmaids and have FUN before walking down the aisle because Terry and her team kept everything on time and had everything moving behind the scenes flawlessly.
All my guests have RAVED about Terry and her team. It just goes to show what a fantastic, flawless and professional job they did.
In the end, words can hardly do justice to the gratitude and awe I feel for Terry and her exceptional team. From the moment we met to the magical day of our wedding, they were there, guiding us with their expertise, unflinching support, and flawless execution. I can honestly say that my wedding day was everything I had ever dreamed of, and more, thanks to Terry's unwavering commitment to making it perfect.

If you are debating on hiring a wedding planner/coordinator, I promise TKE will be worth it. Even though we had a small, 40 person wedding, hiring TKE was the best decision we could have made. Aside from choosing to marry my husband and landing our dream venue, hiring Terry was the best decision I made in the wedding planning process. She is everything you want in a planner: experienced, knowledgeable, dependable, detail-oriented, positive, supportive, accessible, communicative, relatable, thoughtful, understanding, and most importantly, kind. She will get to know you, your partner and your vision and uniquely bring it to life in a way that seems effortless (though it is truly not). Throughout the planning process, she is communicative and open, expertly knowing when it is time to let you make your own decisions and when to offer her input. She is a true professional and has many strong relationships across the industry that help in hiring your vendor team and in orchestrating a seamless event. It is hard to describe the sense of ease and comfort I felt going into my wedding day knowing Terry had my back, and that feeling is worth every cent and more you will pay for her services. She made me and my husband (and our whole wedding party, in fact!) feel present, relaxed and excited on wedding day knowing we didn’t need to worry about any little detail with Terry on our side. Having the wedding in our rearview is sad for obvious reasons, but also because I don't speak with Terry as regularly. Do yourself a favor and hire her. It will make your wedding day and planning experience better than you could have ever imagined.

WOW. WOW. WOW- I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Terry and her team are second to none. From the first phone call I had with Terry, I felt like I was talking to a friend. She is honest, professional, intelligent, kind, and dedicated, and it is so evident she absolutely loves what she does. We worked with one of her teammates Hannah Walker throughout our wedding planning process, and we cannot say enough amazing things about her! In our first planning meeting, we immediately felt at ease working with her. She is charismatic, intelligent, professional, quick to respond, and organized. Terry and Hannah truly went above and beyond to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams. There were so many late night email exchanges that they always responded to within a few minutes of me sending it. They were always willing to jump on a call or answer any questions we had without hesitation. After seeing that went into the timeline of our day, it would not have been possible without them! I truly do not know how they do it! They made sure every single detail was addressed and confirmed, and allowed us to enjoy our wedding day without having to worry! Terry was absolutely amazing. We used her for the month of. During that month we had a few mishaps that she had fixed with alternatives before we could even stress over it. The day of was so seamless- or at least she never let us know if something went wrong. Our florist wanted to charge us an arm and a leg just to rent candles and the holders- she went above and beyond finding us an alternative for literally a fraction of the cost. We honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Terry! I would Highly recommend her and her team for your wedding planning needs!

Terry Kaye is Exceptional!
Terry Kaye is a truly exceptional wedding planner. It is clear she and her team take great pride in making sure every detail of the wedding day is absolute perfection!
We hired Terry Kaye Events in 2020 for our daughter’s wedding which, at the time, was scheduled for May, 2021. COVID hit shortly after, but Terry helped us keep moving forward in the hopes of celebrating in 2021. We ended up postponing until May of 2022. Terry was a true pro at rescheduling the various vendors we had selected and ensuring we had replacements for those we couldn’t rebook.
Terry helped to design a vision for our daughter’s wedding beginning with the creation of a beautiful, unique invitation suite (Staccato) which was artfully carried all the way through to the wedding (Middleburg Barn, Rosy Posy) and reception (Spilled Milk, Select Rentals).
When the week of the wedding arrived, the weather forecast was not looking great. While we had an indoor (Plan B), we really wanted to have the wedding outdoors, if possible. Finding a tent at 4 days before the wedding was a tall order, but Terry was able to secure a tent which ended up making the venue even more beautiful than we originally envisioned. She worked with the vendors to add more florals and other special touches to ensure the tent was in keeping with the look and feel of the event.
The special touches during the cocktail hour – a unique escort display, chic velvet furniture and gorgeous florals, were exquisite. Then came the transformation of the Middleburg Barn into a stunning and magical reception. From the amazing florals, table settings with custom menus and beautiful chairs for the King’s table, to the wallpaper insets in the bars and drapery with up lighting – the bride and groom, mother and father of the bride and all of their guests were so impressed and captivated with the entire evening!
Terry and her team are extremely organized and had every detail planned out perfectly which allowed all of us to have a stress-free, amazing weekend of celebrations. I honestly don’t know how we could have done it without her. In fact, she is so amazing and such a joy to work with that we hired her to be the planner for our son’s wedding in 2023!

A planner - designer - and a friend
Terry is the BEST and she has a rockstar team behind her. She literally made our wedding dreams come true and pulled together a GORG ceremony and hell of a party. We had a long engagement and Terry was one of the first vendors we choose thankfully - she helped us navigate contracts - gently steered us toward vendors and away from others who wouldn't be the right fit for our event - and above all made sure my husband and I felt supported and heard. She became more than a planner but rather a friend! Terry has pretty extensive knowledge of the VA wedding scene (we had a VA winery wedding) and knows someone for just about everything. She also created a design for our event I couldn't have even dreamed up if I tried. I felt totally taken care of - and she made sure to take care of issues we had the night of so that my husband and I could ride off into the night with little a care in the world except being happily married. We would point anyone and everyone to Terry :D

I cannot express how grateful my husband and I for all of Terry Kaye's help, guidance, calmness, and reassurance during our wedding planning process. Our wedding day was a fairytale and I wish I could do the day over and over again 100 more times. It was the best day of my life and I have Terry Kaye's team to thank for that. There will never be enough words to express how big of an impact Terry had on making our wedding day so perfect. I can't recommended her highly enough. From day 1, Terry was on top of absolutely everything. When my husband and I realized we'd have to postpone our big celebration due to COVID and have a microwedding at my parents house instead, Terry was right there next to us, reassuring us that we would still get to have the wedding we dreamed of. Without Terry, there is absolutely no way we could have replanned our wedding in just one month. And because of Terry, our plan B turned into the most perfect plan A. I woke up the morning of our wedding day truly relaxed. I enjoyed every minute of the day because I knew Terry had us covered. Terry is an absolute dream to work with. She saved our wedding which was postponed due to the pandemic and executed our day flawlessly. She was always responsive and helped us through so many aspects of our event. The vendors and guests provided endless compliments and Terry was a huge part of that. Outside of love and commitment, I think Terry was the most important ingredient for our wedding. Having a wedding coordinator not only decreases anxiety in the months leading up to the event, but allows you to really enjoy the day. Terry's attention to detail, her professional connections, and impeccable taste made our wedding more than what even we had imagined. Terry advised us for an entire year prior to the event, and allowed us to make our dream wedding real without making common planning mistakes. She let us run with our ideas (even last minute) yet reeled us back to reality when needed. And at every turn she was anticipating obstacles before they created a problem. We had close to fifty moving parts, not counting our beloved guests who of course got a little rowdy toward the end, yet Terry kept everything clicking without us even thinking about it. Terry was our day of wedding coordinator for our wedding in Warrenton, VA. As we were planning from another state, she was on top of the majority of the fine details. She initiated conversations 3 months in advance, and was very organized. Personally, I had little interest in fine details or getting wrapped up in decisions, and therefore I was very stressed until we hired Terry. She made our day seamless, and handled any and all hiccups that will occur when a large event takes place. She is professional, courteous, and really goes above and beyond. Without her, I don't think our day could have gone as wonderful as it did.

You need her
I can not speak highly enough about Terry and her team. She was a huge driving force to make our wedding perfect, and it truly did feel perfect. At the same time, she was a total comfort for my husband and me through out the planning process, the weekend of the wedding, the moments before walking down the aisle, and the rest of the wedding day. I remember getting my makeup done the day of my wedding starting to feel a little antsy about everything that was about to entail, and the moment she arrived I had a feeling of complete comfort because I knew she would take care of the timing of everything. She is truly a professional and had no problem navigating through tough family dynamics etc. She helped clean up after a guest who had to much to drink at the reception. She attended all of the planning phone calls with vendors and made time to make this happen even if it was after hours. We had the bridesmaids stay at a different hotel the night before the wedding and she managed to make sure all of our luggage made it to the main hotel where the boys and the rest of the guests were staying. She truly was a huge asset. I could not imagine having done everything without her. She is absolutely amazing. She has my highest recommendation.

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Terry Kaye events and our personal planner, Robin Ruiz!
First of all, we were provided with a wedding planner with our vendor, Blue Valley, 3 months out, which was included in our venue cost. My husband and I wanted to make sure we were on top of our to-do list when we were about 6 months out, and Terry met with us at our request for a few hours and was very thorough with us, and made us feel so prepared throughout the entire planning process. Terry created multiple vision boards for me when I was indecisive on colors and themes, to make sure I knew what I wanted. She also made herself more than available to answer questions before we were assigned to work with Robin 3 months out.
Once we got paired with Robin, we felt we really had both of them looking out in our best interest which was amazing. Robin was so sweet to work with and incredibly organized, exactly what you need in a wedding planner! I swear she must have cloned herself on the day of because my family and I didn't have to lift a finger! Even her assistant was great, she kept me talking and distracted as my nerves were about to burst before walking down the aisle. Thank you Terry and Robin! We loved working with you.

We recently had the pleasure of having Terry Kaye as the coordinator for our wedding at a Virginia winery. It was the best day of our lives and Terry made sure every detail was perfect! She is incredibly organized, very responsive, exceptionally kind, and had so many wonderful suggestions during the time we worked with her in the months leading up to the wedding. As a bride, I knew that I could relax on the morning of my wedding and enjoy getting ready with my bridesmaids and mother. Terry was handling all of the set up and logistics so that we didn't have to. I literally breathed a sigh of relief when she arrived on site, knowing that I could trust her to make sure everything was the way we had envisioned it. Many of our guests have commented on how hard Terry and her assistant were working and how smooth she made our ceremony and reception flow. As is bound to happen, a few unexpected things popped up on the wedding day, but Terry handled them so we could enjoy ourselves. Some examples - one of our guests tripped walking from our cocktail hour to our reception and injured himself. Terry quickly handled it, got him help, and made sure that it didn't create a big distraction or become an upsetting part of the evening for our guests. I also nicked my husband's finger with the knife when we were cutting our wedding cake. Before I could even ask for her help, Terry was there in a flash with a band-aid at the ready. The morning after the wedding I told my new husband, "I don't know how anyone gets married without a 'Terry'!" Engaged couples - do yourselves a favor and book Terry for your big day!

Perfect Wedding Experience!!
We worked with Terry Kaye Events on my daughter's recent wedding at Blue Valley Vineyard and Winery in Delaplane, VA. Terry and her team are true professionals, and it showed in every aspect of the wedding. They used their significant experience and creativity to make my daughter's dream wedding come true. Every detail was thoroughly planned, and then seamlessly executed to plan on the wedding day. The event was a complete success and thanks to their professionalism, we were able to not stress about any details and instead focus on the wedding completely, and enjoying the moment with the bride & groom and all of our guests. Detailed planning worksheets and timelines really helped me stay on track through the whole wedding planning process. Both Terry and Robin were extremely responsive and professional. Robin worked very closely with me the last 3 months before our wedding and her attention to detail ensured absolutely nothing was missed. Terry is an incredible wedding planner, we would hire her again in a heartbeat!! She is very professional and well organized, and always willing to make your vision happen. A few specific examples:
- she helped us cut costs by always offering her own time or gear or advocating on our behalf with vendors.
- we did a traditional Jewish wedding, which has lots of customs that aren’t found in more mainstream weddings. Terry learned *all of it* largely on her own and nailed it on wedding day!!
- she managed some very strong personalities, both in terms of family and other vendors, extremely gracefully.
- her flower arranging skills and general eye for the beautiful really ramped up our aesthetic without increasing the cost :)

I cannot recommend Terry Kaye enough! We were married at Stone Tower Winery and used her month-of coordination package. Throughout the month prior to our wedding she was highly organized, patient, flexible, and communicative. She helped to recommend a handful of Vendors that we still had to select, and gave us hand-holding as it was needed. On the day of the event, she was everywhere and nowhere (as in, if I needed clear nail polish or body tape, she was right there handing it to me, but I never felt crowded or intruded on). The wedding went so smoothly, and I was shocked to hear about some of the vendor issues afterwards--I had no idea at the time because she took care of it. She handled last-minute requests easily, and even when I got back from my honeymoon and couldn't find something she recalled where she packed it so I could find it. She is calm, steady, reassuring, and easy to be around. It was pouring rain, but she was prepared and drove us to the venue in her own car (fully prepared with seat covers). And she held a golf umbrella as I walked from the car to the door to prevent me from getting wet. I truly believe there is no small detail that she is not prepared for. I found her pricing to be on-par with the other planners in the area that I researched and I am thrilled that we went with her. I HIGHLY recommend!

We knew we loved the venue, but once we met with Terry for the first meeting, we absolutely knew that we needed her and her team to be our day of planners. Our event planner, Robin, was fantastic and so easy to work with. Terry Kaye and her team are amazing event coordinators! Their hospitality, poise and attention to detail is incredible. We were so blessed to have her as a friend throughout our entire wedding planner experience. She kept us on task while setting expectations for us to ensure we were able to stay in bounds of what our venue could support. We had an dauntingly detailed wedding with a lot going on. Terry and her team supported it with smiles and exceeded our expectations in every way. Any bride or venue is lucky to have Terry and team in control. The best decision I made was to hire Terry as a full time planner to make sure I was staying on task throughout the planning process.
Our venue closed two hours before the ceremony start time, which I was nervous about, but Terry made things as STRESS FREE for me as possible. We dropped everything off on Friday morning and I honestly have no idea how they set everything up so perfectly. I gave them lists on how I wanted things displayed and everything turned out more gorgeous than I imagined. At the end of the night, the staff packs everything up for you to take home the next day. We are still in debt to all of their work on our wedding weekend. I highly recommend purchasing Terry Kaye Events full wedding planning package, she made my life so much easier and became a great friend to my husband and me.

The team (Jordanna and Terry) planned my wedding at Blue Valley Winery and thanks to them the day could not have gone more smoothly. During planning, any time I had even the smallest question they were so responsive. They really went out of the way to do everything to make the day what I was imagining. It is hard to know where to begin when reviewing Terry Kaye. She is miraculous. If you are considering Terry as your wedding planner, stop considering and book her immediately. My fiancé and I got engaged in late January and wanted to get married within the year at my grandparents’ property in Delaplane, Virginia. Since we needed to basically turn the property into a wedding venue, we wanted to find a wedding planner who specialized in this sort of thing and was familiar with local vendors. We were in conversations with a few and had phone interviews set up. Because of our 8 month timeline, Terry offered to come meet us in person the weekend we contacted her to give us a consultation. Knowing the popularity of Virginia weddings in October and our needs for tents, “potties”, and bringing in catering, she wanted to make sure we knew of some local vendors, the tent ordering process, and county permit timelines, all without a contract or any promise of hiring her. Within about 5 minutes of meeting her, we were immediately impressed and knew we would book her. And we did! From there everything just flowed. By the end of it, Terry felt like a member of the family. Not only was every single one of her recommended vendors incredible (and I seriously mean incredible) her organization and vision translated into our perfect wedding weekend. Whether it was contacting, following up, and managing the various vendors, or travelling to DC to help my Fiancé select his suit, or texting back and forth with me in the early morning hours about design ideas, Terry did everything with poise and incomparable talent. From our first conversation about seven months before our wedding to the day of, Terry was so fun to work with and it was so easy to trust that we were in good hands with her. She spent a lot of time listening to my “vision” and over the course of our planning and especially in the days leading up to the wedding, it was obvious she totally got it. There were a few details I had strong feelings about, which she made sure came out the way I wanted. There were also a lot of things I didn’t have strong opinions about but wanted to feel natural with the overall vibe and theme we were going for, and Terry was really great about providing different options and giving us suggestions and ideas, which were always great. She went above and beyond making sure everything turned out beautifully. On the big day, I didn’t have to do anything but show up and have a good time. She handled all of the logistics so seamlessly and kept us all on schedule. In short: I could not have planned our wedding without Terry and I would highly recommend working with her.

I got married at Blue Valley Vineyard last November and Terry Kaye helped me to plan the event and was INCREDIBLE to work with. Terry was my main point of contact with Blue Valley planning elements and I couldn't have asked for more. She was so easy to work with and so helpful in the process, I don't know what I would have done without her! She helped me to select truly amazing vendors, paid attention to all the little details that I'm sure I would have otherwise missed and made sure everything leading up to the wedding--and the wedding day itself--went smoothly and was stress-free. She has a great attitude, is super friendly and is a pro at what she does. Everything was such a joy when working with Terry and she made wedding planning a total breeze. We truly could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator. Terry Kaye was so wonderful from start to finish. She went above and beyond from the day we booked until after our wedding. From our first meeting, she took care of so many things and made us feel so at ease about the entire planning process! Leading up to our wedding, she answered all of our questions so promptly and made us feel comfortable with anything we had concerns about (we planned our wedding in VA from NYC). The weekend of, Terry was an absolute superstar - I don't know how she did all that she did! We had so many personal touches for our wedding and she nailed every single idea that we had given her and then some. I truly cannot say enough about Terry and how grateful I was to have her on my team of wedding vendors. I used to work in the wedding industry myself, so my standards were high when it came to working with a planner. Terry exceeded my expectations and did so with utmost grace and poise. There was nothing that was thrown at her the day of of my event that she didn't handle flawlessly. I was so grateful to work with someone who I knew I could trust and hand over complete control. When my husband and I decided to get married at my parent's farm property in September of 2017, we knew it was going to be a big task. Everything (from tent, flooring, lighting, liquor, and trailer potties) needed to be brought in and a wedding reception needed to be created in the middle of a field. Not only was it logistically challenging to plan and coordinate a wedding like this for 200 guests, like many weddings, there were many personalities involved. From the moment I first spoke with Terry on the phone, I knew she was perfect. To get to the punch line before I get to the details, Terry flawlessly and gracefully planned and executed our dream wedding at my parents home for 200 guests with over 10 vendors (including the amazing Kristen Gardner photography, Erin Sellers videography, Savoir Fare Catering, DC rental, Capital Party Rental). Throughout the entire process, Terry was professional, kind, calming, and reassuring that she would do whatever it takes to make our vision a reality. She was extremely graceful and receptive to feedback when ideas she proposed differed from our own (which rarely happened because she seemed to "get it" right away). She assembled a dream team of vendors who all worked together flawlessly. She is extremely well-respected in the event planning business and all seem to absolutely love her, which made the whole event run more smoothly; her strong reputation has earned her a discount with many vendors that she kindly passes on to her clients. She approaches conflict with vendors with a "kill them with kindness" attitude but also makes it clear that she has high expectations, which they all seem to meet or exceed. Most importantly, her "on-top-of-it" all attitude, organization, and leadership made me, my husband, and my parents all feel like we could actually enjoy every minute of our wedding weekend. I could go on but to put it simply, do yourself a favor and hire Terry. It is the greatest wedding gift you could give to yourselves.

Terry is wonderful at what she does! My husband and I were unbelievably grateful to have her by our side throughout the planning process and on the day of. Even our guests and vendors were constantly praising Terry's work. I was working and going to school full time leading up to the wedding -- there is no way we could have had half as amazing of a wedding without her.
Terry referred us to PHENOMENAL vendors. Everyone was incredible and definitely worth the price we paid for them. They were good people and cared about the quality of our wedding.
Terry was also incredibly helpful with shaping the aesthetics of our wedding-- an area I did not feel particularly strong in. Terry and I started a pinterest board and she totally "got" my style right away. Terry and the florist she referred us to ended up putting together a gorgeous wedding!! It was everything I had hoped and more.
It was super nice to be working with someone who just generally understood weddings -- how much to tip, where to seat my husband's stepmothers, how to structure the ceremony, everything. She was always super nice and ready with helpful suggestions- never condescending.
A few weeks before our wedding Terry emailed our vendors asking that they contact her first or at least cc her on any communication with us. And then the day of the wedding Terry was all over everything. At one point she was moping up some spilled wine on our dance floor. We literally did zero work the day of our wedding, and it was glorious.

Terry is awesome at what she does!! She offers helpful suggestions and jumps in where needed, whether it's assembling items for the reception to listening to personal conflicts. I felt like she was part psychologist after so much stress! She always listed carefully and is able to articulate your vision to you as she sees it to make sure you agree with the plan and get it executed the way you want! I feel like I've made a friend in Terry and will always be grateful she was such a major part of our event!!

Terry was a wonderful help in planning my wedding. I was very busy through the planning months, and she kept everything on track despite my busy schedule. I realize giving ALL five stars for everything makes it look like you didn't take the survey, but I honestly can't imagine a better evening. If anything went wrong during my wedding and reception, I don't know about it. Terry was so great to work with! She had great ideas when we didn't know what to do, and was so open to our ideas of what we wanted. She worked so well with our other vendors too, and we weren't put in the position to make a lot of decisions on things we didn't care to have opinions on. However, she was so accommodating when it came to the things we DID have opinions on. I would totally work with her again.
