Team Wedding provided excellent day of coordination. Alanna was our day of coordinator. She provided us with a detailed timeline and checked in with all of our vendors beforehand, helped with set up and break down of the ceremony and reception, and coordinated the entire day - so many services provided at such a great value! She was responsive (even available to answer all of my questions and concerns via text message!), professional, and flexible, helping adjust the timeline throughout the planning process and wedding day seamlessly. We recommend this planning and coordinating service wholeheartedly! -

Highly recommend! Ashton was amazing, and I truly don't know how I would've gotten through my wedding day without her! Seriously, hire Team Wedding! I did day-of coordination for my wedding in June 2020 - a challenging time to get married, and Ashton was so helpful in the month leading up to the event and on the day of. Cannot recommend Team Wedding's services enough! -

Having Ashton coordinate our wedding made the whole planning experience so much easier. I was going through nursing school during wedding planning, and because of that I had very little time to plan my wedding. Ashton was not only extremely flexible with her schedule, but she also scheduled meetings with vendors for me, coordinated my contracts with them, and helped me make decorating decisions. A few months before our wedding, we had to change our date. Ashton helped us avoid what could have been a nightmare for us by communicating our date change with all of our vendors and making sure all of our contracts were adjusted. On the day of my wedding, I did not have to worry about anything other than getting married, because I knew Ashton had things under control. She even bustled my wedding dress for me when I realized my seamstress had done it incorrectly! Team Wedding is 100000% the way to go for choosing your wedding planner. -

Living out of state I knew I would need a wedding planner to help coordinate and stay organized, and as soon as I talked to Ali on the phone with Team Wedding I knew I wanted to work with her! She is so sweet and has great ideas but also was great at listening to my ideas, or taking a snippet of an idea and making it a reality! She always dealt with my random texts or emails, and always was just as excited as I was! I truly did not worry about a thing on our wedding day because I knew Ali had it all under control, and she went above and beyond for everything. -

Coordinated a beautiful backyard wedding!
We had the pleasure of working with Ashton from Team Wedding for our wedding day. We had met Ashton at the Team Wedding booth during the Pink Bride convention in Knoxville during the summer of 2019. She was very personable, knowledgeable, and organized, so we felt she was the right choice for us. We also love that Team Wedding has some decorations in storage that you can request to use for your wedding! Ashton helped us to set up meetings with the rental company, catering, and other vendors which she also attended in case we needed her professional opinion. She also helped us rent a beautiful arbor from Marsh Made, which looked stunning in all of our wedding photos.
Ashton was understanding and extremely helpful when we had to make significant alterations to our many vendor contracts due to postponing our big wedding to next year, but still had a very small backyard wedding on our original October 2020 date. We provided a lot of the decorations ourselves, which was basically a big pile of stuff including, but not limited to, a bunch of potted mums, pumpkins, fall themed bouquets, pine cones, fall themed garlands, and burlap table runners. We also had things like the wedding cake, cake toppers, and guest book that had to be set up too. Ashton just took everything and somehow used it to turn our wedding into something much more beautiful than anything we could have hoped for. After so many changes to our original wedding vision due to the pandemic and then also hurricane rain, we are deeply appreciative of everything Ashton did to help our wedding day be as special as it was. We are so thankful that we could just enjoy the day and did not have to worry about coordinating anything, because we were able to trust that Ashton could handle whatever came up and keep everything running smoothly. We highly recommend Ashton from Team Wedding to be the perfect wedding planner for your big day! -

Team Wedding did a great job coordinating my daughter's wedding. I'm a former wedding planner, but I was a deer in the headlights on the wedding day!
It was so nice to have someone who could make decisions and coordinate key events. I had no concept of time and nothing would have happened on time if it had been up to me.
I definitely recommend that all weddings have a coordinator and that you consider Team Wedding! -

I am convinced there is no better wedding planner in the world than Ashton Rummage with Team Wedding!! My wedding was a dream come true and every single detail was PERFECT thanks to this amazingly talented, fun lady! I’m sure I’m one of the only brides to have to postpone then plan 3 weddings and Ashton was here for me every step of the way! She guided me, supported me, and helped me get through the whole process with ease!! The day of the wedding she coordinated, decorated, set up, checked in with me through out the day, fixed my veil and dress and seriously took care of everything to make my dreams a reality!! Every detail, every decoration, every moment was truly breathtaking and I am so so so thankful we chose her! She took over so my mom could relax and that meant more to me than anything! Ashton just isn’t a wonderful planner but one of the sweetest most caring people I’ve ever met! If you need a planner, definitely choose Ashton with team wedding and you will not be disappointed!! I was late to decide I should look into a day of coordinator but Marvyl and Ashton were quick to help me make sure every detail of my wedding was accounted for. Ashton kept the timeline (that she thankful created) running smoothly and hid all the wedding day fires from us so that we could enjoy our day. -

My husband and I decided to use Team Wedding for our day of coordinator after reading several wonderful reviews and hearing amazing stories from couples that have used Marvyl and her team for their wedding! I just want to begin by saying that Team Wedding did not disappointment!! I met with Enrique 30 days prior to our wedding and from the moment I met him I knew that he was going to make sure our wedding day went as smoothly as possible and go above and beyond to ensure that we had the absolute best day!! Throughout the month before our wedding Enquire made sure that I didn’t have to worry about a thing in regards to all other vendors. When I met with Enrique I gave him all of our vendors’ information and he made sure to reach out to each vendor and handle all the reaming details and arrival times so we did not have to stress about that! Enrique came to the rehearsal the night before the wedding and was extremely helpful when showing everyone what they needed to do for the wedding (we had absolutely no idea). Enrique was absolutely amazing throughout the entire wedding, from the moment he arrived until that evening when he left. He made sure that all of our details were exactly how we wanted them, that we always had drinks and food at our table, and so much more! I am so thankful we booked Team Wedding for our special day and if you are looking for a day of coordinator or planner, Team Wedding is perfect! They are also very reasonably priced which is great. Thank you for everything and for helping make our wedding an absolute dream!! -

Greatness beyond expected worth every penny
I just got married yesterday and I can’t even begin on how maryvl and her team did on my wedding. But here is One word PERFECTION. She had everything down to a T on our day. She has everything you can think of if you run out or forget. She is quick to come help or go yell at the boys for coming out of the suit lol. My husband thought I was crazy when I booked a wedding planner, but I told him I was a easy and smooth day and that’s exactly how our day went. My husband even raved about her all day and continued today and actually thanked me. She was the best to vent to before the wedding day , we all knows things happen. She kept me calm all the way up to the wedding. If you book her I promise you that you will not regret! -

We hired Marvyl for our June wedding in Knoxville since we live in New Orleans. I'm a Knoxville native, but wanted some help with vendors and management of the planning while I was miles away! Marvyl was always quick to respond and answered all my questions even when she had other weddings going on and mine was far away! She was really quick to recommend vendors and worked on all the details ofthe contracts so I didn't have to. She also followed up with them close to the day. Not only was Marvyl and Team Wedding great before the wedding, but they were ESSENTIAL the day of the wedding. She handled so many small fires that I didn't even know happened until the day after (running to her warehouse to get sparkles because we ordered the wrong ones, seating 12 extra guests who showed up). The whole thing went so smoothly and I had literally 0 stress about the actual details and implementation of the day. I would highly recommend Marvyl and Team Wedding for all your planning or even day of coordination. If you are worried about the cost just budget for it! It will save so much of your time. -

My wife, Kelsey and I, want to give the upmost praise to Ali for going absolutely above and beyond for our wedding The Standard on 6/1. Hiring a day of coordinator was one of the best decisions that we made. Kelsey was hesitant on it but I pushed for it after seeing Quinn Barlow from Winx Photo’s post about you all. And it was the absolute best money that we could have spent. From when we first met Ali at Starbucks we knew we were in good hands. And we cannot speak her praises enough. People told me from their experiences that “there will be things that go wrong on your wedding day, just roll with it.” There was nothing that went wrong. At. All. We will be recommending you and her to anyone we can. -

We hired Team Wedding for our day-of coordination, and I can’t imagine how we could have done it without them! Melanie was our coordinator, and she was so kind and wonderful and funny and AWESOME at her job! Girl was ON IT! I did not have a single worry on my wedding day because of her and her sweet trainee, Katie. And I know she was also a huge blessing that day to my family and husband. Team Wedding helped me organize a wedding day timeline at our pre-wedding meeting, helped wrangle my family and wedding party at the rehearsal, and helped make our wedding day even better than we dreamed it could be! I could not recommend Team Wedding enough! -

Wow! What do I have to say about the choice I made by hiring a planner! IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! From the moment I had my first meeting with Marvyl I knew she was going to get the job done. I had a long engagement and changed things a lot. I never felt that she was tired of hearing my changes. Her communication was always prompt and I always felt I could talk to her at anytime! My wedding day was totally stress free and BEAUTIFUL!! Marvyl decorated the venue like the professional she is! She’s more than a planner she’s a superstar at what she does!! Honestly y'all, Marvyl was a life saver. I would have been totally happy purchasing more of their services. I've recommended them to everyone. They. Were. INCREDIBLE. Super gay friendly. Helped us deal with less stellar vendors. Always kind and responsive and on it. And all of this was just for day-of coordination! Their day-of services were the best money we spent in our whole wedding. (And we loved most of our vendors!) It made the whole day so much smoother and more enjoyable. Fun, upbeat, knowledgeable, professional. I can't say enough. No problem was unsolvable. They were just so great. I wish I could hire Marvyl and her team to coordinate my life. Do not wait. Hire them for your wedding! -

Krista Sent on 07/18/2017I have had the pleasure of knowing Marvyl (the founder of Team Wedding) since were in high school. Even from a very young age, I knew that Marvyl would go on do something, well, marvelous in her future career. Team Wedding is it, guys.
One night, I was scrolling through Facebook and saw that Marvyl had posted an article about her own themed wedding. And let me tell you all, it was absolutely beautiful. I fell in love with all of the trinkets and minor details she put into her own wedding. Then, I saw that she was starting up her own business -- Team Wedding. I knew it was meant to be, and I knew that Marvyl was the only person who could bring my literary-themed wedding to life. I sent her a quick Facebook message, and from that first conversation, Marvyl was incredibly helpful and passionate about throwing me the literary wedding of my dreams.
Marvyl went ABOVE and BEYOND her call of duty. She answered all of my pestering messages for a YEAR. She met with me in person to nail down my vision. She helped me order invitations. She helped me select vendors and contacted them throughout the year for invoices. She went to McKay's, our local bookstore, several times a year to get free books for the decorations. She spent HOURS working on bookshelves, renting a U-Haul, and taking my checks to vendors when I had to work. During the days leading up to the event, she spent even more hours hanging book pages from the rafters in my venue, decorating each reception table with nick-knacks, flowers, and books. Oh, and she also created an AMAZING photo booth with an open-book paged backdrop and vintage couch.
I can't even begin to describe how much she worked on our wedding day. She was LITERALLY running around the venue to make sure our needs were met. I can't type much more, because I am about to hit the limit, but I could literally write about Team Wedding for days. Thank you SO MUCH for all of your hard work. Everyone is still talking about our wedding even weeks later! -
Anjali Sent on 11/10/2017Having a large (~400 people) wedding in Knoxville while living in California meant there were lots of details that I couldn't practically mange day to day. Marvyl and Co. were extremely eager to help us tackle the multi-day event. They kept in close contact and were very responsive to any requests or input we had. I especially love the work they did creating a unique color palette for the events and setting up floral arrangements themselves. Marvyl was willing to put in her time to also save us a lot of effort and cost on the whole. Since the wedding my family has reached out to TeamWedding for other event planning needs to great success and we will continue to use their services in the future!

We had a rough start with Team Wedding and one of the planners. I had contacted them in October and was told a contract was being sent to me to sign - I never received one. I waited a while, thinking it was a busy season for her. When January rolled around and I still did not have a contract or any correspondence from the planner, I reached out. The planner apologized and sent me the contract within the week. From here on out we started planning my wedding and contacting rental companies, as my wedding was now only 5 months away. After helping with my wedding for a few months, I was told by the planner that another wedding was scheduled on the same day as mine and she had to assign a new planner to my wedding. This of course was frustrating and made me feel as if my wedding wasn’t important - the last thing a bride wants to feel. However, this because the best thing about Team Wedding because this is where ALI came in.
Let me tell you, from that day I talked with Ali to the final minutes of our wedding, she was the absolute best! She emailed, texted, and called me as often as I needed. She was responsive, kind, supportive, and had the best attention to detail. She made my nerves on the day of the wedding disappear completely. She and her husband set everything up for us at our venue exactly how I envisioned it and then stayed to break it down. We were at a smaller venue (Spence Cabin) and everything had to be brought in. Ali and Josh filled guests drinks, made announcements, controlled our ceremony music, and even danced a little bit with us. I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter soul to be with me on the day of my wedding. The best advice I have for a bride looking for a wedding planner/day of coordinator - hire Ali without reservation and you will not be disappointed. Thank you, Ali (+Josh)!
