If you hire Tasha and Tom as your photographers, you're guaranteed to have the most beautiful photos and you're also going to meet two people who truly love what they do. I could have not asked for better photographers, they were absolutely perfect. When I called to inquire, Tasha spoke to me for an hour about her role in a wedding and what she does during your special day. She was so kind (I'd never planned a wedding before and don't know too much about photography) in explaining everything and even pulled up my venue on the phone to explain where we should line up the ceremony to get the most beauty out of the room. She checked in every couple months and would send other photos she had recently taken of other weddings, which was really lovely to see! She even sent cute pics of her Corgis over the Holidays when checking in. At the wedding, at least 20 people told me how much they enjoyed working with my photographers and if you have no clue what photos you want done, Tasha will have a vision for you and find a way to pull out the most unique photos from the venue. There was a willow tree at our venue and we got some true Lord of the Rings photos that turned out so beautiful. She immediately recognized whenever I needed a second to pause and take a breath, I simply could have not been more comfortable getting my photos taken by someone. She even asked all my bridesmaids if they 'had a side they liked better or anything they were self conscious of' so she could keep that in mind when doing photos. Tasha also got Teaser photos to us THE NEXT DAY and got the rest of our photos to us within in a week. Hiring Tasha was one of the best things I did for our Wedding. If you like working with people who love what they do, hire Tasha! I just wish I had more occcasions to hire her again, because I genuinely just liked being around her and Tom. Thank you Tasha, I will always remember you being such a wonderful part of our special day. -

Tasha was amazing from start to finish. I loved her energy when we first met, and she has been the best photographer we've ever worked with. She helped us stay organzied and had all of the shots planned, so it was easy to create our wedding schedule around that. She was always close by and informative, and made us feel much calmer day of. She seriously made us feel like rock stars with the pictures she took. AND, she got our pictures back so quicky!! I can't begin to thank her and her team enough for everything, they made our wedding day so special. -

Everything I could have wanted and more!
I don’t even know where to start! From the beginning Tasha was very responsive and listened to exactly what we wanted. Day of Tasha and Tom were nothing short of amazing! You can really tell how much experience they have and our pictures came out better than I could ever imagine! She also had our full wedding album to us 5 days after our June 3rd wedding. Before we met with Tasha, my partner told me, "I have a good feeling about this one." And his instincts were right on! We're so grateful that we hired Tasha and Tom Owen to be our wedding photographers. They have this thing DOWN. They have shot literally hundreds and hundreds of weddings and they are VERY good at what they do. Throughout the entire event, we felt we were in very good hands. They are masters at the art of building rapport with the people they are photographing. Not only that, we LOVE the photos they took and will cherish them forever. Their style is very artistic and you can tell that they really put thought into the creative part of their work. Tasha knew how to set me at ease on the wedding morning before everything started. Do. Not. Hesitate.
I never dreamed that it would be possible to actually love my wedding photos…I was hoping for one or two of myself that I would be ok with. When Tasha sent over our finished album (a total of 3 days after the wedding) I was absolutely floored. Every picture is stunning. I could not possibly be happier with the work that Tasha and Tom did. They not only captured gorgeous memories of our incredible day, they helped calm nerves, controlled the chaos, and reminded us to take deep breaths and enjoy each moment. We couldn't have chosen a better photographer choice! Tasha and her husband were a dream pair. They were able to capture different angles, caught different moments happening at the same time, were aware of their surroundings and of who needed photos taken, were very organized and communicated with us and others wonderfully and gave clear instructions. They even took us on a 15 min drive at the end of the night to capture extra photos and the scenery was gorgeous! We have been getting a ton of compliments on those photos more than the ones taken at the actual venue! We loved choosing these photographers! Thank you!! -

Tasha and Tom were the PERFECT choice for our wedding photography! We were drawn in by Tasha's beautiful candids and portraits, and how her style seemed more about capturing authentic intimate moments than staged poses. They definitely delivered, and our photographs are beautiful, bright, joyful, colorful, and capture everyone's personalities perfectly. They were a joy to work with (neither my partner nor I love posing for photos, and they actually made it fun!), were great with the young kids in our families, and brought such a wonderful energy to the wedding itself. Professionally, they were on time to our out-of-the-way island venue, gave us a teaser gallery two days after our wedding, and got our full gallery to us in about a week. Would use them again for any photography needs, and would highly recommend them to any Seattle/Tacoma area couples. -

What a pro! Tasha (and Tom! ) is truly the epitome of why you get a professional photographer. She was SO communicative. She checked in with me tons before the wedding, even calling the day before to talk about our weather backup plan. She was so confident and kind during group photos and took charge of posing and coordinating the group so we could move through the photos quickly! She even immediately learned- and remembered- everyone’s names! Wow! We got tons of compliments. She was also incredibly flexible when we had to change our ceremony last minute due to rain, and suggested a much better location for photos that was protected from rain. She blew me away. Not to mention her price is a great value! -

Phenomenal!!
Tasha and Tom knocked it out of the park! We had so much fun with them on our wedding day, and all our guests loved them too. Tasha was fabulous about communication leading up to the wedding and made sure we kept to our timeline. The photos were turned around so fast, and every shot was so beautiful and authentic. Absolutely the best!!!
Tasha and Tom were so fun to work with! They made photo taking a fun and memorable time for all involved, and it didn't at all feel like a 'slog' to get through. They really embraced our personalities and our bridal party, and made our photos feel like something that was uniquely us. You can tell that both Tasha and Tom are passionate about what they do and are deeply invested in capturing the love, joy, and humor behind each couple. They have this magic about them where you can see their brainstorming process unravel right in front of you, and before you even know it, they've captured a bunch of incredibly unique shots that you wouldn't have imagined anyone else coming up with. We normally aren't huge phototakers, and are generally awkward about taking photos, but even Tasha was able to make us look like stars! Plus she has such a wonderfully fun and positive personality that you totally don't want to miss out on. -

Tasha and her husband, Tom, photographed our wedding in October 2021. They were AMAZING!! We hired them before Covid started and they were so kind and flexible when we had to change our wedding date. Tasha even sent an email in the middle of the pandemic to make sure we were doing well. They made everyone feel comfortable when taking photos and were very personable and fun to work with!
Even though we were running behind schedule and were late to start photos, they were still able to get ALL of the photos we asked for and more within the original time frame and got us back on track for the ceremony!! They captured every detail of our wedding and the photos turned out better than I could have ever asked for! Tasha also got our photos back to us very quickly and didn't try to upsell anything or have any hidden costs. We highly recommend them for your special day!! -

Short recommendation: Book Tasha! She’s the most talented, detail-oriented, kind, warm and quick photographer I’ve met (and I have friends in the industry)! She got our photos to us within a week of our wedding, and they were GORGEOUS! Our guests remarked on how wonderful and kind she was. She made us feel at ease and calm during one of our best and also chaotic days in our life. Tasha and her husband, Tom, are incredible. I would highly recommend them.
Longer recommendation: From the first time we visited her website, we wanted Tasha to photograph our wedding, but thought for sure we couldn’t afford her. Other photographers of her caliber were asking $7K+ for our wedding day. We almost settled on that we’d get a less than what we wanted quality-wise photographer. We then had the meet and greet with Tasha, and well…. we were able to get the photographer of our dreams!!!
She immediately disarmed my now husband with her warm and fun demeanor – He’s an introvert and has a hard time immediately feeling comfortable around new people. This was something both of us were concerned might affect our photos, as they’d feel stiff with any photographer. However, Tasha was sweet and thoughtful. She asked us questions about our vision, and laid out clearly what she was as a photographer and what she was not, so we were all on the same page. We got her price packages, and she was competitive and within our budget. Tasha could charge the huge amounts that many do, but she loves what she does, and keeps her prices reasonable, so everyone can feel like a rockstar on their big day.
We went ahead and did an engagement photo session with her and Tom (did I mention that her husband works with her as her second photographer?! Adorable!). We opted to come to her in Tacoma. She told us there are beautiful and diverse landscapes there (THERE ARE!!!!). When we arrived, they talked us through the day, and then we went off in their “mobile office” (van), which allowed us to change and focus on us and not driving. We went to four beautiful locations, and had a blast while feeling like rockstar models. Tasha and Tom have this way of making you feel like you’re the professional model and they just happen to be photographing you. We even brought our dogs, and got amazing photos of and with them. We had so much fun, and not only did we get incredible photos, we also felt a lot closer to each other as an engaged couple. Shooting with Tasha made us more excited about the wedding. This is key when you’re stressed out of your mind planning it. Tasha sent us sneak peaks within an hour, and all our photos within 3 days!
Fast forward to our wedding…. Tasha checked in multiple times before the big day. She helped take me through photo shot lists, and made sure we were both on the same page as to who and what was going to be photographed and what was the most important to us to memorialize. She also just checked in with me emotionally, and asked how I was holding up. I would send her pictures of ideas I wanted for photos, and she’d quickly respond with her thoughts and warmness.
On our big day, Tasha and Tom were prompt. Tasha came into my bridal room and Tom went with the groom’s crew. We all had so much fun getting ready. Tasha staged all the bridal gifts, dresses, my girls, etc. so beautifully. She even took a few photos in my corset, which turned out to be beautiful boudoir-esque shots. Tom helped my husband relax and just went on a walk with him making him excited for the ceremony while also getting some superstar shots.
They also brought walkie-talkies, so when I’d go outside, Tasha would tell Tom to get my husband inside and away from windows, so he wouldn’t glimpse me. They ended up being incredibly helpful to our planner as well, because they helped a bit with the go between. Also, there was a mishap with the boutonnières and Tom saved the day fixing them.
Also, they brought a 3rd photographer for the reception, which meant we ended up with 2700 photos that are ours to keep.
Additionally, it was cake time. Tom whispered to us, “do you know what to do?” We immediately told him no, and he walked us through how we’re supposed to do it. It looked like we were pros!
My family and friends loved Tasha and Tom. Like legitimately. I’m pretty sure if they could have, they would likely have asked to hang out as a friend outside of the wedding. They were cracking jokes with them, all the while, Tom and Tasha got some great candids. I’ve been to weddings where people are afraid of the photographer. Not a problem with these two 😆
Tasha’s attention to detail is incredible. She would fix coats, smooth dresses, tuck in tags, reposition items, and even would do things such as tape something down, so we’d get the optimal shot. Tasha disarms everyone with her warmth, and I did not once see her seem annoyed or flustered. She’s a professional with hundreds of weddings under her belt, and just one of the kindest and talented people I’ve met. I cannot say enough good things.
Just one last thing…. She got us all our wedding photos in a week. One of my friends had her wedding in June, and she still hasn’t gotten her photos. While Tasha’s contract does not say a week, she’s just that kind of person: always going above and beyond for her clients.
Thank you, Tasha so much for everything. You made our day even more memorable with some of the most beautiful photos I have ever seen (and I got to be in them🤩😍). -

Best decision we made for our wedding!
Tasha was absolutely amazing to work with! Right from the start she was super communicative and answered all of my questions. As we started getting closer to the wedding, she checked in frequently to make sure we’re all aligned and just to generally see how we were doing. I always struggle with poses, so I was nervous about being the center of attention for photos all day, but Tasha made it all super natural! I never felt awkward or or tired for the photos. And when my bridesmaids and I were running behind getting ready, she was cool as a cucumber and worked with the schedule to get us back on track.
Throughout the night Tasha and her husband Tom were such hits with our guests! Everyone loved their bright personalities and how they made everyone feel like stars.
The photos that we ended up with are STUNNING! So many people reached out to ask us who did our photos and said they look like they could be on the cover of a wedding magazine.
Having Tasha photograph your wedding is the best wedding decision you’ll make!!! -

Two things we thought really set Tasha apart from other photographers: First is her expertise - just is an exceptional photographer and knows wedding photography! She knew what photos to take, when we should take them, provided that info ahead of time as a first draft so I could make changes and was available when I had questions. Second was her enthusiasm & personality. It was really nice to have someone so excited to do the work. She also photographed my friend's wedding and did an exceptional job for her too. 10/10 would recommend! -

Tasha and Tom were a pleasure to work with. The day of the wedding they arrived at the hotel and split up to take pictures. Tasha came into the bridal suite taking lots of pictures of the bouquets, dresses, and candid shots of the girls. Tom went over and spent the time in the groom’s suite while the guys got ready, and even helped them to get the boutonnieres on. Both of them did an excellent job making everyone feel comfortable and getting candid shots that captured everyones personalities. We then headed over to the venue where they did a great job making sure that photos of the groom/groomsman and family, bride/bridesmaids and family moved along in a timely manner in order to get me hidden in the back before guests started to arrive. The pictures of the ceremony itself were awesome. My husband and I commented to each other after that we didn’t even notice them during the ceremony but they got some great, close shots from behind the priest, etc. After the ceremony we finished up pictures since we did not do a first look. The photos of the two of us are amazing and captured genuine laughter, smiles and intimate moments that I will cherish forever.
Both Tasha and Tom have an ability to put you at ease and make you feel like you have known them forever. They are willing to listen to any ideas you would like to incorporate and see to it that it happens. You can tell they have a great amount of passion for what they do and truly do love being at weddings. I would recommend them to anyone who asks. -

Stop looking - choose tasha!
Tasha and Tom are the best team anyone could ever want to capture their special day. I saw what a wonderful job they did photographing my sister's wedding day - and I knew that I had to hire them for mine as well. They are both so sweet and professional and have a way about them that makes even the most shy person comfortable. They take such extraordinary care to get every photo right and move people and things around until the shot is perfect. Tasha watches for every little thing... Crooked necklaces, misplaced hair, wonky earrings, crooked tie clips - Don't you hate it when you take a photo and it's perfect except for that lipstick on your teeth or your hair out of place? Tasha makes sure you do not have to think about those things because she is thinking about it for you. You can rest assured that if she or Tom is taking a photo, they are making sure you are going to LOVE the result. I have seen them climb on chairs to get amazing shots, artfully arrange ordinary things to make extraordinary photos, and wait for just that right moment at sunset to get you the perfect lighting or that unique photo for you. I personally loved that when they weren't working together to get a photo just right, they split up and were photographing two different parts of the wedding - thus ensuring that we got so many good photos of everything going on. In addition to all of that - Tasha packages up your prints (Yes, she gives you prints!!) in the most adorable little bridal box all wrapped up with ribbons. SO much value and quality for your money.
My wedding was on the 5th of September. I got my photos back the 7th!! Retouched and gorgeous. She takes the time to look at EVERY.SINGLE.PHOTO and even EDIT out things like creases in tablecloths. I can't wait for her to do a third wedding for our family when my baby sister gets married. We wouldn't dream of choosing anyone else after seeing Tasha's process and the end result.
Stop reading reviews and wasting your time talking to more expensive and less skilled photographers. Choose Tasha. I promise you will not regret it! -

Perfect photos that captured the magic of the day
Tasha and her husband were incredible. They were able to capture the beauty, love, and magic of our wedding day in photos. My favs are the photos that we didnt know they were taking, or in between shots- unforgettable moments that we now have forever. They were able to use the light and our home, to make the photos look incredible. My dress looked stunning. We will treasure our photos forever, and are so grateful to both of them. -

Fun, Talented Photographers!
In all the planning we had to do for our wedding, hiring Tasha was probably our easiest decision. She's incredibly experienced and takes fantastic photos. She made the hours of posing for photos fun, especially because I was able to rely on her entirely to make sure she got all the right people in the right shots. Plus, she got us our teaser photos before we'd even headed out on our honeymoon! Can't recommend her highly enough. -

I was the skeptical bride who initially did not see the value in hiring a professional photographer. After much research, my lady was set on Tasha Owen and for good reason. The overall value of her package is hard to beat; we received our first teaser photos just HOURS after the reception ended. The complete album was sent to us less than a week later, impeccable quality.
Truthfully, our wedding day would not have run as smoothly without Tasha and Tom. They helped us (me) keep a cool head while everything was coming together, and were overall a friendly, professional team to work with. 13/10 would recommend! -

Fun and talented photographer
Living in Oregon and planning a wedding in Washington meant that we didn’t have relationships with local wedding vendors that we could draw upon. We had to rely on research and online information. Fortunately, we stumbled upon Tasha online and it became clear in our first conversation that she was “it.” Incredibly talented and fun to work with. Tasha took both the engagement and wedding photos for my daughter and her husband’s wedding and both series of photos turned out beautifully. She was able to capture individual personalities perfectly. Even when an unexpected rain storm arrived right at the time wedding photos were to be taken, Tasha created some lighting magic and the rain didn’t spoil a thing. In fact, no one has even noticed the rain in the photos! -

Where do we even begin?!! Tasha Owen and her husband Tom superseded all of our expectations! We met with several photographers, but when we met with Tasha it was love at first sight! Her experience, professionalism, and her positive energy was exactly what we were looking for. Our photos were so beautiful and captured every moment that I could have hoped for - and I especially loved all the candid photos. Looking at the photos, it almost feels like you are watching a movie unfold. And her ability to select the perfect spots for our first look pictures and engagement photos was wonderful. All of our guests still talk about how much they loved our photographers! I wouldn't look any further for another photographer!!! You will not be disappointed! -

Our chemistry was immediately realized during our first 'meet and greet', I had loved how she explained her style, what she envisions for her brides and how her # 1 priority is your special day. When selecting Tasha, the benefits we really LOVED were 1) getting TWO photographers (most places charge WAY extra for another person), and the second person was her husband and Tom was GREAT with the guys 2) we would receive all photos after everything was said and done, this was a huge perk to us 3) Tasha's amazing personality and warmth 4) Her consistent, informative and reliable communication and last but certainly not least, 5) her outstanding ability to read her bride, her brides nonverbal gestures to understand what the bride was thinking. Tasha could tell when I would start to even think about getting stressed about something and then almost immediately made everything better, whether it was redirecting to a different moment or just lightening up the room. I look at our pictures and tears roll down my face because I cannot believe the most amazing memories of my life were able to be captured. Katy Sent on 06/10/2016Tasha and her husband did an amazing job at my wedding. She captured my day perfectly and did it the way we wanted to. We wanted more candid than staged photos and she did an amazing job on both! I would highly recommend her.
Update 3/28/2018 - I recently discovered that the memory stick with my photos got corrupted and I had mistakenly not backed them up. I emailed Tasha and within days she sent me a new drive. My wedding was almost two years ago. -

Tasha is very clear at every step what you can expect and she helps you make good decisions to ensure you photos turn out well. She was clear with us how long it would take to process the photos after taking them and we asked if there was any way to get just a few of them earlier so that we could have a few for our save the dates.
She got back to us and said she couldn't promise anything but would try. Well she did it! We were beyond thrilled.
Communication with her is easy, her photos are the best mix of posed and natural I could imagine. I can't suggest her enough.
