Hire this wedding planner!!!!!
I don’t even know where to begin. We were extremely fortunate to have been referred to Blake Events by a local wedding venue in our town. I think their exact words were something like, “We’re considering narrowing the list of planners we’re willing to work with, and if we could only work with Taryn and her team, we’d be thrilled.” That was all I needed to hear to schedule a call — and after our very first meeting with Taryn, I knew we didn’t need to meet with anyone else.
One of my biggest initial concerns was that we had chosen a brand-new venue that hadn’t yet hosted a wedding at the time we signed our contract. Taryn immediately put me at ease. Not only does she have extensive experience working with new venues, but she’s also incredibly skilled at anticipating needs we hadn’t even thought of and advocating for us during the contract phase with both the venue and our vendors.
Throughout our year of planning, Taryn and Logan kept us organized, on track, and stress-free. Nearly every vendor we worked with came from their recommendations — and every single one of them far exceeded our expectations. Taryn and her team walked the perfect line between listening to what we wanted and offering their professional insight when asked, and their suggestions were always spot on.
While we were consistently impressed by Taryn’s responsiveness, organization, and attention to detail during the planning process, the real magic happened over our wedding weekend. The Blake Events team were absolute rockstars. They thought of every detail, kept everyone gently on schedule, and somehow managed to anticipate every need before we even voiced it. Thanks to them, our day was seamless, joyful, and truly perfect in every way.
We can’t recommend Taryn and her team highly enough — We love them so much we've been shouting it from the rooftops and already referred them to one of my closest friends who hired them for their wedding in June. Blake Events is truly the best gift you can give yourself if you are planning a wedding. If you are looking for a wedding planner in the PA/MD area, or anywhere, really- DO IT!!!! They are worth their weight in gold. -

Look no further!
We would recommend Blake Events over and over again. From the moment we found them we had the utmost faith they would make our wedding day seamless and they did just that! We did the Day of Management package where they came in 3 months out and handled all final logistics and vendor communication in addition to the day of. Logan was our head planner and was phenomenal to work with from the moment we met her. She was responsive, knowledgeable, and provided us with fantastic guidance throughout the last three months leading up. She truly went above and beyond in every way and was invaluable in finalizing all of the details so we could go into the wedding feeling relaxed knowing she had thought of every detail and communicated with every vendor. On the day of, Logan and Katie (day of support) were nothing short of phenomenal! Every time we turned around, one of them was there anticipating our needs and helping to ensure we were able to enjoy our day worry free. Our day would not have been as seamless without them. They were professional, but also a fun addition to our day! Our entire wedding party raved about how much they enjoyed having them along for the day. We cannot thank Taryn, Logan, Katie and the entire Blake Events team enough. Stop your searching and go with Blake Events! You will not regret it. -

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Samantha at Blake Events! From the very first meeting to the final moments of our wedding day, she was an absolute rockstar. Her attention to detail, calm demeanor, and true passion for what she does made the entire planning process not only stress-free, but genuinely enjoyable.

When my now-husband and I first got engaged in February 2022, we immediately knew we had to book Blake Events. We saw firsthand how they brilliantly guided our dear friends through the planning process and executed an stress-free, flawless day, and wanted the very same for ourselves. Hands down, hiring Blake Events was the BEST choice we made in the planning process.
Over our 2.5 year engagement, Taryn read dozens of contracts for us, helped us revise our budget to meet our goals, told us the hard truths we needed to hear, and cheered on our every success. We felt heard and supported every step of the way during planning, and like we had a true advocate in our corner!

The most perfect day!
Taryn's team was amazing! A couple months out Deb began collecting all of my contracts, arranging schedules, and helping me with last minute details. She responded to all My emails and questions right away! On the day of the wedding, Deb set up all the decor and made the reception look beautiful. She created the timeline and made sure we were moving on time throughout the night. I highly recommend this vendor if you want your day to run smoothly! -

Daniele at Taryn Blake was an absolute pro — calm under pressure, reassuring, thorough and patient — willing to go with our personal opinions and asks and with changes in plans along the way — and flexible and creative when issues arose in real time. TBE: Turning Beautiful Events into Unforgettable Moments
I knew I wanted a wedding planner as soon as I got engaged. I am French and got married to an American, we live in NC and decided to get married in PA- the only wedding I ever attended was actually my own so needless to say I knew I needed help. I discovered Taryn on Instagram, she was explaining the difference between a venue coordinator and a day-of coordinator/wedding planner. I started following her and loved her honesty and humor about the whole thing. TBE became my non-negotiable there and then.
The whole process was such a breeze thanks to Taryn, and then Daniele our rockstar/wedding counselor/coach and guru. We decided to pick the Partial Planning package because we had a long engagement and knew we needed help in the long run to plan our day. Having access to Daniele unlimited times was also extremely helpful.
Now why should you hire TBE? It's quite simple: They are leaders in their field, for the peace of mind, knowing you have someone in your corner at all times, responsiveness (I'm not sure Daniele ever sleeps haha), professionals who are on top of everything, who know what they're talking about and can recommend amazing vendors in your budget!
Daniele kindly guided us through the wedding maze, helping us to always think one step ahead so we wouldn't have any issue on our wedding day. We literally couldn't have done it without her because of the many vendors we decided to hire and all the coordination that required. Our wedding day was magical, and it is in big part thanks to her and Shannen's work. We loved having their calm, firm and smiling presence throughout the day.
We can't thank them enough.
It's bittersweet to say goodbye now that it's all over, that's how much of an impact TBE and Daniele had on us.

Taryn was the wedding planner for a friends wedding, so when it came to be my turn I knew exactly who to go to for a flawless wedding planning experience. From start to finish, she was incredibly professional, organized, and dedicated to making our wedding everything we dreamed of.

God’s Gift to Weddings
Taryn and her team are the sole reason why I was able to keep my sanity through wedding planning…my only regret is not hiring her earlier! She helped us save money and stick to our budget, recommended vendors that fit our style perfectly, and helped us make decisions confidently. On the day of our wedding, Taryn and Emma made sure everything went off without a hitch. They solved problems before I even knew they existed and allowed us to really enjoy the day and live in the moment. Emma even sewed the straps onto my dress more than once. I can’t recommend TBE enough! -

You need them!
We hired Lolly as our day or coordinator and she was awesome! She looked out for us. When vendors told her bad news she broke bad news to us wayyy before the vendors did. She handled all communication with vendors leading up to the big day and handled everyone day of. Most of my rentals I rented I trusted her to restyle whenever she thought looked best. She really took everything off my hands for me. Everyone needs a day or coordinator but you need TBE because their day of coordinators really do so much more! All my guests said that they have never been to such an organized beautiful wedding. -

Don't Skip the Coordinator
Taryn and her team are absolutely sensational. We only get to plan one wedding in our lifetime, and these ladies live and BREATHE weddings. We opted to move forward with "day-of" (*3 month out*) coordination, and our day was seamless with the help of Taryn and Shea. It is absolutely priceless to have not had to look at a clock one time on our wedding day. They are so fun and professional, and I can't imagine our day being as perfect without them there! -

A must hire!
Simply put: you NEED Taryn and her team for your wedding! Risa was our coordinator and honestly I don’t know how we would’ve gotten through the day as flawlessly as we did without her. Throughout the entire planning process, Risa was available to answer all of our questions. When we got down to the 3 month mark, she jumped right in to help us create a timeline that incorporated everything that was important to us for the day of. She also helped communicate with all of our vendors, coordinated arrival times, created a floor plan and did so much more that contributed to an overall stress-free wedding day for us! On the day of, we were able to just enjoy getting ready with our bridal party with the comfort of knowing all of the setup and coordinating was being handled perfectly.
If you are considering a day of coordinator at all, do it! Risa was hands on the entire day and gave us the peace of mind that we needed to be able to fully enjoy our day. She kept us on schedule, made sure we were always having fun, kept a drink in our hands at all times, and even helped fix my dress when the bustle broke. We couldn’t have gotten through the day without her!

Trust me, you need them.
If you're debating whether or not you need a wedding planner, trust me, you do. More specifically, you need TBE and Daniele as your planning lead. Despite having some major, unexpected life events come up during our two years of wedding planning, Daniele never let anything fall through the cracks or get to the point where we needed to rush major decisions. She curated pre-vetted vendor lists to our exact preferences which made that part of the process fun and easy. However, nothing stood out more than her dedication leading up to the wedding and her commitment day of. She not only coordinated with all of our vendors, but also took the time to meet with our moms to go over day of details and get everyone on the same page. She hopped on the phone with all of us again to discuss our rain plan the week of the wedding. The plan worked so well that most of our guests didn't even realize they were experiencing the rain plan. The day of was incredibly smooth and we were able to relax and enjoy knowing that Daniele and her team had everything covered. My husband and I are both pretty type A and prone to worrying and the fact that were both calm and confident was amazing to our friends and family. We both 100% chalked that up to the diligence and attention to detail of Daniele and the TBE team. We could not recommend TBE and specifically Daniele more emphatically. Hire them immediately! -

Highly Recommend!
First I will say, we were a bit hesitant about hiring a planner, thinking we could manage everything ourselves, but now that it's all over, we are SO happy we chose TBE. No matter how organized you are or how much you plan leading up to your wedding, there are a lot of logistics that happen day of and without Daniele and Emma, our friends or family would have been running around to ensure everything was perfect instead of spending those moments with us.
Their dedication to ensuring every detail of our wedding was impeccable did not go unnoticed. From our initial meetings to the final moments of the ceremony, their expertise was very evident. We are in awe of how seamlessly they orchestrated the entire event, ensuring that the atmosphere was filled with love and joy despite unexpected pouring rain. Their quick thinking and willingness to make last minute changes due to the rain turned what could have been a logistical nightmare (and maybe it was but they're just so amazing we didn't see it!) into an unforgettable experience for us and our guests.
Their biggest gift to us was just letting us (and our families) be present and enjoy the day and for that we are immensely grateful. -

The TBE team is an absolutely must have
I felt as if I was in a different bride category. I did NOT enjoy wedding planning, gathering vendor info, any of that jazz… in comes TBE. Lolly and I had a phone call to discuss details as we got closer to our wedding and I nearly cried tears of joy. She literally took every single piece of information that was causing me stress during the last 90 days off my plate completely. I never had to speak to another vendor or plan out another detail. Then wedding day comes and it was relaxed and seamless as hell.
Even if you are someone who loves wedding planning (could not be me lol) I highly recommend day-of coordinator services at the very least.
I quite literally could not have made it without Lolly or the TBE team. -

I had a wonderful experience with TBE. I did partial planning and design. The design meeting really helped bring my vision to life through the vision board the design team created for me. I was able to share this board with my florist (and other vendors) which really helped. Danielle was my wedding planner, who has fabulous. She was so prompt in answering any questions I had throughout the entire planning process. On the wedding day, she made sure everything ran smoothly - which it did! I'm very happy with my decision to hire TBE and I highly recommend! -

Taryn is the best!
Hiring Taryn was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. I was wowed by her during our very first call, and she continued to be a tremendous resource throughout the planning process. She gave input, kept us on track with her timelines, helped us find the exact right "greige" linen color, and made sure everything came together smoothly. On the day of the wedding, I had nothing to worry about. It was the ultimate gift! Taryn and Richelle handled everything so I could focus on being present with friends and family and just enjoying. I would 100% recommend hiring a wedding planner for your big day and I would 100% recommend hiring TBE! -

The absolute BEST day
I have no idea where to even start. Taryn was THE LITERAL BEST. I am such a type A person and pretty much knew exactly what I wanted when I started my planning process, but hiring her was the best thing I did for my wedding. She was there each step of the way to bounce ideas off of because she knows what works on a wedding day and what doesn’t. 3 months out she came in and literally made all my stress go away. The walkthrough was seamless, I had a list of questions but I didn’t even have to ask because she had literally thought of EVERYTHING.
Day off was the best day of my life. I didn’t have to worry about a single things because she and Deb were there handling it all. She was the queen of plan B’s on my day due to some venue issues, but I didn’t even notice because everything ran as smooth as butter.
It was such a blessing to be able to enjoy my day and know I didn’t have to worry about anything.
If you are on the fence about hiring a planner or even Taryn and her team, don’t wait. It was literally the best investment I made on my wedding day for me, my friends, and my family.

Everything went so smoothly!
We hired Taryn Blake Events for day of coordination, rather than full or partial service planning. They did a great job! Risa was our coordinator and she did a great job! I was sad when we parted ways at the end of the evening; I wish she could have come to the after party with us!!! She did a great job of handling all the mini fires throughout the day. My favorite part of working with TBE is that they never once questioned my vision or tried to steer me in a different direction. They truly executed the day perfectly! -

The best wedding investment you'll ever make!
If I could only give one piece of advice to everyone who is planning a wedding it would be that you absolutely need a wedding planner, and if you want the best it should be TBE. From the very first phone call with Daniele, my husband and I felt so secure about our decision to work with her. She is incredibly professional, organized, and knowledgable while also being so kind and always available. Almost every single vendor that I hired was at the recommendation of TBE and oh my gosh they were the freakin dream team! 6 months before our wedding, we found out we would be moving across the country 3 days after our wedding. The week of our wedding everyone kept asking me how I wasn't losing my mind and my answer was always "because I have Daniele". She gave me the ultimate gift of being able to relax and enjoy all the fun parts of our wedding weekend without having to field emails or phone calls from vendors or dealing with crises. Although to be honest - if there were any issues that occurred at my wedding I have no idea what they were. My wedding from my perspective was perfection. Even my friends and family kept telling us that they have never been to a more flawless wedding. The only issue I remember was the string holding my detachable sleeve onto my dress broke, and in literally SECONDS Daniele appeared with a thread and needle and sewed that baby right back on. She is simply incredible! Please do yourself the biggest favor and hire TBE. It is the best investment you will ever make for your wedding! -

Hiring TBE was the best wedding gift to myself
I'm known for planning, throwing, and hosting fun parties and gatherings, but often when you're the one hosting you don't get to enjoy the event. I knew for my wedding I wanted extra support so that the work didn't fall on me. Hiring TBE was the best wedding gift to myself!
We reached out to Taryn very early after we got engaged for her opinion on venues - her feedback was so helpful in us finalizing our date and venue that we immediately hired her for partial planning. I knew I could plan most of the things but having her guidance along the way was invaluable. I especially liked that during our planning sessions, she called out tasks for me to focus on, helping me stay on track and avoid unnecessary stress. Even when things went wrong (like my original photographer not being available anymore) I literally did not worry because I knew no matter what her team would help me figure it out.
Aside from the entire planning, the day of Taryn and her team were absolutely amazing. As soon as she arrived, I let her in on the wonderful news a groomsman forgot his Tux in another state. Again, she told me not to worry, and I knew I could trust her to help them. Having her team there was so helpful. They organized all the vendors, set up and tore down all my personal decor, and helped keep everyone on time. Honestly, if anything did go wrong, I am totally not aware of it, and I owe that to Taryn and her team. Even our parents were super impressed by the TBE team and couldn't stop saying how thankful they were we had them there! They allowed us to fully enjoy the day and I can't thank them enough for that. Our day was truly the best, and there was not a thing I would change - If you're considering hiring a planner, TBE is THE BEST, and you will not regret it.
P.S. We also loved Taryn's advice to NOT host a traditional rehearsal - it allowed us to have a fun St. Patrick's welcome party the night before, and everything still went smoothly the day of. Trust your planner - they know their stuff! -

The BEST decision you will ever make!
It's been a few months since our wedding and I've finally been able to sit down and work through the reviews for our stellar vendor team. To this day, I still think about how glad I am that I chose Taryn Blake Events for our wedding. Without a shadow of a doubt, the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process was hiring TBE for their partial planning package.
Daniele was the true MVP of our wedding by making sure everything ran smoothly, even going as far to personally save the day when a groomsman forgot his shirt. She made sure everything was set up flawlessly and that everything ran on time. Daniele truly made sure our day was stress-free and for that I am forever grateful. Our wedding would not have been what it was without her! I am so appreciative of Daniele for her guidance and advice as we planned our wedding. Our check-in calls were truly something that I looked forward to - Daniele kept us on track and was incredibly organized. It felt like I emailed or texted Daniele a million times and she responded to every single one super quickly. Moreover, Daniele provided much needed support and advocated for us when issues popped up. It felt like she was always on our side when we needed her most.
Hiring TBE was hands down THE BEST decision we made. As someone who wanted to plan a big part of their wedding, I cannot stress enough the importance of having someone like TBE to double check things, offer insight, and be there through every step of the way. Don't hesitate to hire TBE!
Hiring Taryn Blake Events (TBE) was the single best wedding-related decision I made. I knew that I COULD plan a wedding without help, but I also knew I WOULD drive myself crazy if I tried to attempt it. We wanted a planner that understood our aesthetic and wouldn’t push us in a direction we didn’t want. We found exactly what we needed in TBE.
Taryn stepped in for full planning services after we had a date and a venue and took it from there. She and Daniele provided white-glove service from start to finish. Taryn knew exactly what kind of vendors would work for us and made the decision-making process easy because I knew every vendor suggested were tried and true from her years of wedding planning experience. She took our crazy idea of incorporating Marvel characters into our décor and made it work seamlessly with our desire for lots of color and tons of florals and reassured me it would all come together even when I was worried it was too much.
Daniele was a delight to work with on the travel, rehearsal dinner and after wedding events. Her responsiveness, ability to pivot when things weren’t going as planned and commitment to making our weekend the best made my life so much easier.
I am not exaggerating when I say that whenever someone would ask me if I was nervous about the wedding, my instant response was “Nope. I’ve hired THE BEST wedding planner and I know she’s got it all handled.” I never once worried about a vendor or venue related detail during planning or on the wedding day. Taryn and Daniele took care of every tiny thing, including hanging a neon sign during our ceremony in perfect silence when the original idea didn’t work, giving my husband double-stick tape for his yarmulke and fixing my bustle (three times!). I have no doubt there were other things that popped up that day, but we never knew about them, and our wedding day was a beautiful reflection of who we are as a couple thanks to their passion and commitment.

Must hire!
This team has experience in so many geographical areas, types of venues, and always loves a new wedding day challenge. I love the transparency that Taryn gave us in our consult call and that Daniele gave us throughout the planning process. They helped us find a venue that was in our budget and that met all of our needs (hello Hazelwood!). I would not change a thing about our wedding day. It went so smoothly, and Daniele and Shea from TBE were so instrumental in that. I can honestly say I felt no stress on my wedding day. If you're questioning if the money is worth it, I promise you it is. -

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding!
I'd say Taryn Blake Events helped us create the wedding of our dreams, but what we ended up with was BEYOND that. After getting engaged, I knew we wanted to hire TBE after Taryn did a friends wedding a few years ago, which was one of the most beautiful and smoothly executed we have attended. And for a VERY reasonable price, we had a whole village of wonder-women making sure we had the best day ever! Our lead planner Daniele answered every question with lightening speed, was an endless source of good advice, and made sure we were on point during the whole planning proces. Which was invaluable during this weird time where event vendors were still recovering from being closed during Covid and tons of people are trying to have weddings again. And on the day of the wedding, Daniele and her team were everywhere, making sure we had nothing to worry about and everything was what we were hoping for (or better!). Our package also came with design, and what Taryn and Megan put together for us took the aesthetics and vibe of our wedding to the next level, way beyond what we would have come up with on our own. We've been to dozens of weddings over the past decade, and I was so excited at the amount of things we had that I had never seen at another wedding. And thier vendor recommendations and connections were also instrumental. Everyone we reached out to from their list was amazing, and when we had to pivot away from one vendor one month before the wedding (not one they recommended), Daniele had us in touch with another vendor that was able to save the day in a couple of hours. I could go on, but in sum, you need TBE on your side for your wedding! -

Beyond the best in the business
I am so happy that I met Taryn at Behind the Bash because she was quite literally my saving grace through the entire process of wedding planning and the day of. She is absolutely amazing and so organized! I had the pleasure of having Taryn herself on my wedding day, along with Shea, and Brittany and let me just tell you, I really couldn't have done it without them. I was able to completely relax knowing that Taryn and her team had it all under control. They think of everything and are so prepared for any situation. Taryn's team is the best of the best and went above and beyond from start to finish. I will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart for them. My day was so magical and everything I could have ever wanted. Trust me, you want TBE on your big day! -

Would hire 1000 times over again
Hiring Taryn was the best decision we made for our wedding. From following her on instagram, we knew we wanted her as our coordinator before we even had a venue. We literally revolved our wedding date around her availability and would do it again in a heartbeat. We’ve been to weddings since our own and the amount of stress put on the couple and their wedding parties and families makes us so sad because we literally had ZERO stress the day of our wedding thanks to Taryn. If anything went wrong we still have no idea about it to this day. Our wedding parties and guests all said it was the most organized wedding they had ever been to and had such an easy flow from event to event. Taryn took care of everything from insane scheduling to helping me decide on bridesmaid dress colors, she was there and always super responsive. Not to mention she’s also just a fun af human and totally got our sense of humor and party personalities. When we say our wedding day was flawless, it truly was and that was all thanks to Taryn. There aren’t words for how valuable she is. -

Amazing service
We got our day of coordinator from TBE via our venue. It was included in our booking and it was the best thing that could have happen to us. I didn’t know if I was going to have one originally but after having Risa to help me through everything I don’t know how our day would have went so wonderfully without her. Even my husband said he could not believe how on top of everything she was. Every time we turned around at our wedding she was checking to make sure we were good and happy and it truly made us feel so special. She helped me plan and a schedule things I never would have thought about. Without Risa our planner our day never would have turned out so smooth and perfect. -

Two words: HIRE. TARYN.
Taryn was one of the first vendors we booked and let me tell ya, it was by far the best decision we made throughout the planning process! We got engaged in 2018 and planned for a 2020 wedding (jokes on us). When the time came to reschedule our wedding Taryn had it done in hours with confirmation and updated contracts from all of our vendors.
When the wedding *finally* came, it couldn’t have gone smoother. ANYTHING we needed that day was in front of us in seconds. If there were any complications, and I'm sure there were, we didn’t know about them. Not one person asked us about logistics, schedule, or preferences - we got to focus entirely on my family, friends, and (most importantly!) each other. Taryn’s team brought such incredible peace of mind AND immaculate vibes.
It was made so clear to everyone involved in our wedding how vital Taryn was. Just from working with her that day two of my bridesmaids, my decor vendor, and a close friend all hired her for their weddings! She is worth way more than she charges. And I’ll repeat: HIRE TARYN! -

Don't Walk, RUN to Hire TBE
You know your wedding planner is the best of the best when your dad includes a thank you to her in his father of the bride toast - yes, I'm serious! Our wedding on 9/4/22 was the most perfect day of my whole life. I hired Taryn back in 2021 after postponing our wedding an entire year and feeling completely burnt out from the wedding planning process, and my only regret is that I didn't hire her from the start. From our first call, she GOT me and my husband, and our vision for the day, and designed a beautiful wedding that perfectly matched our vibe and what we wanted the experience to feel like. Throughout the process, she was communicative, proactive, and wrangled all of our vendors like the pro she is, with grace, organization and positivity. I remember saying to her the month before the wedding that I felt weirdly calm - and I honestly attribute that feeling to her and her team.
On our wedding day itself, I kicked my feet up, relaxed, and enjoyed myself, having full confidence in Taryn and her team. I was able to take in the moment, and be present with my husband, friends, and family. Taryn was my first line of defense, our scheduler, and the master of the behind the scenes ceremonies. I have been singing her praises to anyone who will listen, and I'm proud to be able to post about my experience with her and her team here. I am on cloud 9 even a month later thinking back on that day, and am so grateful to her team for executing everything and being so on top of things, all with a smile and a schedule in hand :)
Wedding planners are not a "nice-to-have" on your wedding day - they are an absolute necessity. Hire Taryn. You won't regret it. -

Hire tbe!
I want to start this review by saying that you are crazy to not higher a planner for your wedding. Even if you are the most organized person, there are so many small details and behind the scene things taking place that you as the bride dont want to even think about on your day! HIRE TBE and let them remove absolutely all stressors from you!!
My assigned planner was Daniele. She was absolutely amazing!!! Daniele answered emails so quickly and answered my endless questions/concerns daily. Daniele found out about a festival/street closures days leading up to the wedding and was on top of alerting vendors, etc which we would not have known about otherwise. On the actual wedding day, the day went flawless and I have the team to thank. I did not have my phone on me at all and just knew they were near by if I needed anything at all. I would recommend TBE again and again! -

Plan your wedding stress free
We couldn't have planned our wedding without her. I was in touch with her for two years planning my daughters wedding as was my daughter. Taryn always answered an inquiry within 24 hours. She helped us pick the "dream team" for every aspect of the event. She provided lots of choices of vendors and on the day of the wedding her help was invaluable. As we grew closer to the wedding and our stress levels increased she stepped in took charge of every detail. I highly recommend her and her team. -

Hiring TBE was the best decision I made! The entire planning process was not only stress free but enjoyable thanks to this incredibly professional, knowledgeable, fun team. Taryn brought my vision to life on the design side, providing a vision board I could use with every other vendor. Daniele was my planner through out the process, responding promptly to all my calls, texts, and emails. TBE communicated with my other vendors, created my floor plans, and day of time line which we were able to stick to to a T! Bella was on site for my wedding and made my wedding day so fun and stress free for me and my family. I can truly credit TBE for giving me with best planning process and wedding day experience. Go hire TBE yesterday
I ended up booking TBE as one of my last vendors, as I was starting to think I might need a day of coordinator in addition to our venue coordinator. Let me tell you my only wedding regret was not booking her team sooner! I worked with Deb as my lead planner who was a sweetheart and amazing help from the start. I learned so much about planning a wedding from Taryn’s instagram alone, and truly felt I would have been scrambling without them. I got SO many comments on the day of our wedding (when it was pouring down rain and cold mind you) that I was the most calm bride ever. I owe this to Deb and Shea, who I knew had everything covered and I could focus on the most important thing: marrying my best friend and having fun! 15/10 recommend booking them at MINIMUM for day of services, but if you truly want a hands free experience (and if I could do it again) I would go all in on full service planning.-

This is it if you want stress free wedding planning
We worked with Daniele and the Taryn Blake Events team for our February wedding. We planned the whole thing in 6 months, and without their help, we likely wouldn't have a wedding (or if we did, nothing close to the dream wedding we had).
Daniele was patient, understanding of our vision, and very knowledgeable of the wedding world around Central PA.
We can comfortably say that wedding planning was of minimal stress thanks to Daniele and the team.
We can't say enough good things about her and the team. We wish that every couple planning their wedding could have a Daniele. -

I will scream it from the mountaintops: “Stop Looking Around, Hire TBE!!”
I have sat on this review for quite some time now, trying to find the right words to express how grateful my husband and I are that we got the opportunity to work with TBE, Taryn, Daniele, and Deb. We met Taryn and Deb at my best friend’s wedding I was officiating in 2018, a few months after our engagement, and within minutes of chatting with both, I had already given my fiance the look saying “Oh yeah we’re hiring them.” Within a week or so we had found a date they had open in November 2020 and chose the month-out package. And that was how we lucked into hiring TBE – no lengthy discussions, didn’t even explore*any* other options (which in hindsight is insane!) but we knew it was the right choice, just from seeing how smoothly my friend’s wedding went and in seeing how passionate and good Taryn and Deb were at this.
Fast forward through Covid and a rescheduled wedding into 2021, and I am in awe with how smooth the whole planning/executing of a wedding is to TBE. Did I have anxious moments/mounting stress in trying to make a destination wedding in New Orleans happen in the middle of a pandemic? You bet. But TBE was there with us every step of the way – any question I had I knew I could direct their way, anytime I just needed to hop on the phone with Taryn to talk me through things I didn’t understand, she made herself available, even outside of the month where they took over the planning. As the planning was handed off to Daniele and Taryn, we pretty much had nothing to do but wrap up seating charts and music. We heard almost nothing from vendors in terms of where/when/what, all of that was handled by TBE behind the scenes, which we absolutely appreciated.
Day of the wedding, and Taryn and Deb have the entire night handled. One of our friends in the wedding party had a broken zipper on the back of her dress, so Deb took her aside and sewed her into her dress – can we just talk about how amazing that is? Without that quick save, that’s pretty much a dealbreaker on our friend being in her dress and enjoying her night. My husband’s and my boutonnieres both were mixed up and came as shirt pocket inserts (we didn’t have shirt pockets), so in comes Taryn with the quick fix to cut off the insert and pin them. Not only were they fixing the unexpected things, but everything was planned to the minute. We were married on the rooftop, across from a gorgeous church clock tower, with the ceremony beginning at 7. That clock tower chimed 7 and the ceremony started on time – it might not sound like a huge feat, but I can’t count the number of guests that told me about this moment and how it struck them they’d never been to a wedding where things ran *on time*.
Truly the only regret we have in hiring TBE is that we did not hire them full time for planning. If you have made it this far and are still unconvinced, let me spell it out more plainly – “I would go back in time and give Taryn, Daniele, and Deb MORE MONEY to plan our wedding because they are worth it. EVERY PENNY.” Seriously, hire them, and if you’re on the fence about how long to hire them for, I promise you that the money you invest into TBE will be paid back tenfold in the removal of stress, headaches, anxieties, by letting them do what they are so amazing at doing. We are so grateful to have them be a part of our day and truly cherish those memories. Now quit dragging your feet – GO.

Amazing Experience
Deb and Taryn Blake Events were amazing to work with. Originally, I was not planning to include a planner or coordinator for our wedding, but working with Deb was one of the key reasons that we actually got to relax and fully enjoy our wedding day. Deb was responsive, professional, and organized during our planning and on our wedding day. Not worrying about a single logistical thing on our wedding day is something I valued so much day of, but also now when I reflect on our day. I consider myself a planner/organizer in general so if you are similar and on the fence about working with a planner or TBE - do it! It will be 100% worth it.

Tbe made our day!
If I could type this whole review in all caps without it being obnoxious, I would. But I’ll just say this: HIRING TBE WAS THE BEST WEDDING DECISION WE MADE. PERIOD. Having to postpone and gaining an entire extra year to plan and obsess over everything can make you go a little crazy, in good ways and bad. Taryn and Daniele helped me embrace the good-crazy “Let’s make this party even more epic” ideas and reeled in any of my bad-crazy “Am I overthinking this?” moments. As a super-visual creative person, a little fear can creep up inside when having to let go and hand over control, but I never doubted Taryn and Daniele and they flawlessly executed every. single. detail. (and trust me, there were A LOT). I won’t downplay it, this wedding was ~extra~. They fully supported our nontraditional vision and never flinched at all the specifics that were thrown their way to accommodate. Our day lived up to literally EVERYTHING we ever dreamed of and so much more, it felt like a movie that we just want to replay over and over. From freakishly-fast email responses to therapist-like advice, these ladies truly bent over backwards for us – I don’t feel like I’ll ever be able to thank them enough. Their expertise and talents are unmatched and we are forever grateful.
If you want to look back at your wedding day and know you had the time of your life, able to be fully present with zero regrets, look no further than TBE – they are magical memory makers! -

Taryn is the best human on the planet.
You know when you get nervous about whether reviews are true or not? Well let me promise you that Taryn is worth every single penny and you would be crazy not to use her. Everything that could go wrong did the week before and during and Taryn handled everything so my anxiety ridden self could relax. She pulled strings that I didn't even know existed. I'm a virgo and love the planning process, but decided to go with her anyway. SO even if you can do the wedding on your own, she may be able to do things that you couldn't because she knows her STUFF and got the connects. She's amazing and her team is incredible. Use her and don't look back! -

If my experience has taught me anything it's that it is VITAL to hire a professional planner for your wedding day! It wasn't even up for debate. As many couples during COVID had to do, we postponed our wedding and totally changed our plans. We had originally planned on a small family wedding in my parent's backyard in PA and a larger, more laid-back, festival-style, bash in OR the following year. We had spoken to another planner just weeks before the pandemic began, but didn't make any decisions, so when we decided to postpone we took a few months off altogether. When we made the decision to begin planning again we realized that our 12 year anniversary fell on a Saturday in 2021; however, that was Labor Day weekend which I knew was one of the most coveted weekends on the wedding calendar. We had just booked our photographer but were becoming nervous that other vendors wouldn't be available on our date. Kylee B recommended TBE and praised her for her "get shit done" attitude. As someone who struggles with making decisions for myself, this was a quality I desperately needed. To my surprise, Taryn still had a lead planner available on our date and set up a call for the following day. She immediately made me feel supported and understood, and I instantly knew that she would be able to carry my vision to fruition. Plus, I needed someone who was comfortable telling me to NOT do everything by myself and who was honest and confidant. I was thrilled at the TBE package options and it was comforting to know just how much extra assistance the Coordination package included. Deb was there for us every step of the way and was always willing to answer questions, give us guidance during difficult situations, and offer fantastic suggestions - all while upholding the integrity of my eclectic vision. Deb and Taryn met us at my parent's house to help map out the layout and dial in the timeline which was a pivotal moment in calming our nerves. Planning a wedding from across the country is extremely difficult, but Deb kept me on schedule and gave me confidence in my decisions. Having her coordinate vendors' schedules was a MASSIVE help because it allowed me to focus on the design and DIY touches I was - not surprisingly - trying to finalize down to the very last minute. When there was an unfortunate mishap with our dishware she took charge and handled the difficult conversations for me, allowing me to finish my nail appointment and cut my own flowers - something she knew was extremely important to me. On wedding day she and Taryn took the items I hadn't been able to set out and executed my vision marvelously - even when, unbeknownst to me, Deb had an accident and made a quick trip to the ER IN THE MIDDLE OF SET UP! She is seriously so badass! Though I felt terrible for her, it was so nice to see her smiling and joking with my friends and family while she worked to get us down the aisle. I can't thank you enough for your kindness. Taryn even cut and glued my husband into his cufflinks as his shirt didn't have holes for them! Risa took excellent care of us the rest of the evening by keeping us on schedule, bustling my dress - of which had 25 bustle points! - with my photographers, and making sure we were never without a drink or a bathroom break. TBE is a powerhouse of a team. These women are fierce, smart, and fun. It's no surprise that they are booking out to 2023 and 2024, so make sure to reach out ASAP!-

Absolutely AMAZING!!
Taryn and her team were amazing, on our wedding day we had Taryn as our lead planner and Deb as the assistant planner. My husband and family all thought a wedding planner was not needed but after they met Taryn and saw all she did they all agreed that she was the most essential and needed vendor on our special day. She was always willing to help us when we had questions and was very timely in her responses. We also loved the documents she had on her portal for us to use, we were able to find a list of vendors that she recommended and we chose to use on our wedding day. She also is very organized and has checklists to help ensure that all things are covered. Leading up to the wedding, Taryn created a timeline for us as well as contacted all our vendors, she even wrote to them to reach out to her with questions instead of us so we could enjoy this time before our wedding. We really felt at ease with her in charge, we got to enjoy the weeks leading up to our wedding without having to schedule the drop off times, etc. The amount you pay also includes Taryn at the rehearsal and a final walk through at the venue with her. The final walk through helped ease my mind as she made sure we had all the rentals, linens, and any other small detail we could think of. She really should raise her prices, because her services are worth so much more!! She took care of it all, as for the day of my mother, wedding party, and other family members could really enjoy the day. Her team took care of all the decorating and had things exactly how I wanted it. It was amazing to be able to enjoy the day with everyone instead of stressing about decorating the space. If any small issue would arise she would ask us or our parents what we wanted to do and would quickly find a solution. While we were dancing, I ended up wanting to not do our send off so we had more time to dance. I had previously bought over 200 glowsticks for the send off, Taryn quickly improvised and handed them out to guests to use on the dance floor. These were such a hit and I'm glad we were able to still get use out of them. Deb the assistant planner was also lovely, she spent more time with the men and my husband raved about how cool and helpful she was. She helped all the men with their pocket squares and with any questions they had. It was so nice to have everything all ready and packed up at the end of the night for us. We really did not have to lift a finger and TBE made our day so enjoyable and stress free. I cannot recommend her or her team enough. They are a must have for you big DAY!!! They were our favorite and most essential vendor especially for a type A bride who had high expectations as well as many decorations and rentals to be moved and repurposed. They exceeded all our dreams!! Thank you TBE Team!! -

The Dream Team
I had no intention of hiring a planner. Our venue actually required that we did and I am so incredibly grateful that we did. We hired TBE for day of coordination. However, we began receiving guidance, advice, and much needed planning assistance well before the day of. Daniele anticipated all of my needs, was so quick to get back to me when I had questions, and always gave me honest advice. The day of our wedding, she handled everything and really took the stress and pressure off of me. More than that, she managed to take my vision and Pinterest board and turn it into a wedding I could have only dreamed of. Everything was beautiful and thoughtfully done. I could not have imagined trying to pull off a wedding without a planner and urge any bride to not only consider working with a planner, but working with TBE. Taryn and her team are the absolute best at what they do. As a wedding photographer who's worked with the TBE team before on other couple's weddings, when my fiancé and I decided to plan our micro-wedding with three months notice I knew I immediately needed to hire their team.

Made our dream day reality
Taryn and Deb… We LOVED working with this incredible team. They maintain strong connections in the industry and make acquiring vendors much easier. All of our vendors spoke about them as if they were family, and we can certainly see why!
Deb is incredibly personable and down to earth; she was our dream wedding guru. She reminded us to have fun throughout the process and easily kept us on track.. She was easily accessible via call whenever we had questions, concerns, or ideas. When we went through our initial vision board, she found many of the exact items that we had shown her and built upon our vision to take it to the next level. We are also incredibly grateful to Taryn for putting asks out to amazing hair and makeup when we forgot a month out!
When the big day came we had nothing to worry about. Deb took care of everything without putting any of the burden on us. She coordinated vendor setup and triple checked that every detail was perfect so we didn’t have to worry. She also helped take care of anything that came up as needed, such as helping with faulty bridesmaid dresses and being sure that we actually had time to eat and take a moment together to enjoy the day.
Our wedding was an elegant and truly enjoyable DREAM thanks to this team. We would highly recommend Taryn Blake Events to anyone who is looking for a high style, low stress day.

Taryn made our day magical- could not have done it without her and TBE!
Where do I begin? Taryn's services were worth every penny even before experiencing the (immense) value they provided for the actual day of coordination. Taryn was there when I needed help navigating vendors, my dress regret, and my design indecision. She always had great recommendations and guidance, validation my feelings and anxieties (planning a wedding during COVID brought up a LOT of those!). She was an INVALUABLE resource countless times in the planning process. I don't know how to express my gratitude for all the emails she promptly responded to, jumping on the phone with me if I was in a panic, she was a godsend.
Fast forward to COVID hitting, and needing to figure out how to move forward. First we postponed, then we decided to move to my husband's parent's backyard. Taryn did a site visit with us, and had creative ideas that made the evening feel truly magical and one of a kind. (Dance floor made of vintage rugs nestled amongst the trees, candles along the walkways to make it all feel romantic and cohesive!)
On the day of my wedding, I had nothing to worry about. I had a porch full of boxes with candles and crystals, napkins, vases, hurricanes, etc. Taryn turned all of my stuff into pure magic. The wonderful part was that I KNEW she would produce magic, and I didn't even have to worry about it. I experienced zero anxiety about the transformation of the space, and then at the end of the night not having to worry about breaking it all down (Deb and Bri were masterful in carefully packing all of my stuff away!). I'm a bit anxious and particular--and a perfectionist person who obsessed over the aesthetics of the day--so the level of ease I experienced that day was foreign to me until I worked with Taryn. In addition- I didn't have to worry about directing people, coordinating things, and playing "host" since we were in a family home. There were some small snafus that were miscommunication issues between myself and a vendor- that Taryn's team handled gracefully and without a hiccup. If she wasn't there- I know I would have felt stress around this.
I could cry just recalling how perfect our wedding was because of Taryn and her team. I was worried my anxiety would keep me from feeling present with my loved ones on such a special day- and instead I felt so deeply present and truly felt nothing could go wrong. Thank You Taryn for that gift. Do not wait- book her and her wonderful team!!! -

Daniele and her team were LIFESAVERS. If you think you don’t need a planning team you’re 100% incorrect. She did things that I didn’t even think of before they were an issue. Taryn was the best choice we made!
Taryn and her team are absolutely wonderful. We were having a semi-destination wedding in Pennsylvania for November 2020. Taryn worked with us on design and coordinating vendors. She was a dream! We ended up cancelling our wedding, and lucked out because Taryn recommended getting wedding insurance. We're now having a local wedding, but we would hire Taryn again (multiple states away!) if she was available for our date! -

It comes as no surprise to me that Taryn Blake Events is the #1 suggested planner on the Knot. Leading into planning our wedding after booking our venue, I thought I could handle planning on my own with a friend helping me. I like to be very hands on and didn't like the idea of having someone doing something else for me. It was not long after trying to piece things together on my own and with my fiance's help that I realized it wasn't possible. Our venue, Historic Shady Lane, also required a licensed Day Of planner/coordinator. I met Taryn at Behind the Bash in March of 2018, and was so excited to meet her after following her on Instagram for a few months. Taryn had actually messaged me saying how she would love to add "roller derby girl" to her list of clients for 2019. I was foolish to think we didn't really need a coordinator but since our venue called for it and I had loved everything that I had seen Taryn produce online, we hired her. She even worked within our budget and was very understanding. DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR AND HIRE A PLANNER. Taryn made it very clear very quickly how important her services would be in the planning process. There were so many things we didn't think to include in our wedding day that were absolutely necessary, ie: event insurance. Taryn also last minute added on extra staff to help with set up since our wedding was seated for 200 guests. The add-on fee was no problem at all to us and I'm so glad she offered to add more people on - it put us at ease!! Taryn was very responsive and always got back to us nearly just as quickly as we had reached out with rapid fire answers to every question we had. During our venue walk through in September, my anxious brain came up with a million different things that could go wrong but, of course, Taryn had at least 3 different solutions for each potential problem. She is truly a professional. Fast forward to the day of our wedding, Taryn was there welcoming me with a hug, a smile, and cup of coffee, ready to start the day. She and Deb were amazing during our morning-of rehearsal and ceremony. Taryn told me after the ceremony that she would be leaving around cocktail hour since all the important stuff was taken care of and was leaving us in the hands of her team, Deb, Daniele, and Bri. I thought this would give me anxiety without having Taryn there the whole day, but it was very clear to me that she had a tremendous amount of trust in her team and I felt immediately at ease. These people are the real deal. Taryn was even featured in Forbes Magazine - that's how professional this crew is. LEGIT. Daniele and Bri were so much fun during the reception. Daniele actually danced with me after I begged her to for a few minutes! I barely saw them during dinner & after our dance encounter - they weren't running around in any of the guests way or colliding with other vendors. They were working in the background making sure everything was done. All of our decorations at the end of the night were in tact and accounted for with their help. So, TL;DR version of this whole review: hire Taryn and her team. You're going to need a coordinator/planner, and there isn't anyone better than this team. They are worth EVERY PENNY. They are professional, personal, trustworthy, honest, and hard-working. I couldn't have asked for a better team for our wedding day! Thank you, TBE!!! -

TBE made our dream wedding happen!
It's difficult to put into words how highly I recommend Taryn Blake Events. My husband and I were planning a wedding in Pennsylvania while living in Chicago. We had no idea where to begin. Taryn is a family friend so we thought we would reach out to her and luckily, TBE team was available on our date. With only 10 months to plan a wedding, Taryn and her team jumped on the opportunity and began helping right away. From having the best vendor recommendations to making sure everything was wrapped up after the wedding, TBE made our dream day come true! Taryn helped us select the best partners that had worked with our venue before - she was also willing and able to incorporate some of my Braizlian culture into the wedding. TBE did a great job of taking the ideas I had for our wedding and making them come to life way beyond our expectations! Taryn, provided us with a checklist of what we should do right up to our wedding day, and she also had an extremely detailed timeline for the day of which kept everyone on the same page.
Taylor, Taryn and Daniele all helped during our wedding day making sure the schedule went smoothly and we had nothing to stress over. I couldn’t believe how perfect every single detail was! Taryn Blake Events delivered us the perfect wedding! I couldn’t be more thankful for all they did for us! -

TBE for the win!
Taryn, Deb, and her team truly helped our wedding day run smoothly. I don't know how we would have gotten through the planning process without her! We hired her for the month of our wedding, but even before then her preferred vendor list really helped us out and her and Deb were amazing about answering all of our frequent questions. We didn't have to worry about vendor schedules or making sure all of the small details were taken care of because Deb and Taryn were on top of everything! They even found us a last minute table for our ceremony and helped ensure our furbaby was able to be a part of our big day! As a result of all of their help, we had the most perfect, beautiful wedding day. We both wish we could go back and do it all over again!! We can't recomment TBE enough!! -

A must book!
Book TBE! If there is any doubt in your mind about hiring a wedding coordinator / planner, forget it and book TBE! They were available, what feels like at all times of the day, to answer all of our questions and erase all of our concerns. From the contracts to the scheduling and day of timing, the staff at TBE was incredible! Deb and Taylor were perfect for us on our wedding day; handling all of the setup and dealing with vendors / any issues that arose without missing a beat! The TBE staff quickly became more like friends helping us along the way versus a hired vendor. -

I don’t usually write reviews but I LOVED working with Taryn and Daniele so much that I had to. Wedding planning is not easy especially as you get closer to the big day — I am so happy I hired their team! Their professionalism, expertise and creativity made our wedding our best, non stressful day ever and we couldn’t have done it without them. I didn’t have to worry about anything on our wedding day (and I am the type to worry a lot) ... not only did they successfully communicate with our vendors and make sure everything was executed properly but they also provided creative solutions. I was unhappy with the way our venue put together our reception tables but the next morning Taryn and Daniele magically fixed it, even our venue was impressed and never seen it laid out that way before. Also want to mention that my mother brought a few decorations that I didn’t really think much of since we rented a lot of decor already but they found a place for all of it and made it look so beautiful! I can go on and on about how wonderful they are, so if you’re thinking of hiring them — do it, you won’t regret it! ALSO, they are soooo amazing at tear down, I woke up the next morning and was wowed by how much it looked like a party barely happened the day before. -

Taryn and her team were absolutely wonderful on our wedding day. They already had a great relationship with my venue and were able to run the day absolutely flawlessly. Deb and Taylor ran my day so well that if something went wrong I still don't know about it! Their relationship with me and my vendors was amazing, and I would highly recommend them to any bride looking for a planner.

The BEST value for your money in the wedding planning process
Taryn was MY GIRL throughout my wedding planning process but especially in the final two months! I had the month-of coordination services with TBE and Taryn was a lifeline throughout my lengthy engagement. Here are a few examples of how incredible she was - from a year-plus from the wedding to the day of: A year out from the wedding we had some issues booking a hotel block. I asked Taryn what I should do - she advised that I cc her on emails and offered to jump in if there were issues. Simply including taryn’s name in emails and looping her into the conversation immediately whipped this hotel into gear and the issues disappeared; Taryn didn’t even have to intervene and it quickly became a non-issue. She also had never worked with this hotel specifically- Taryn is so good at her job that she can work with new venues, vendors etc and you would NEVER know. As I was figuring out decor and details for the reception, I had an idea for escort cards but wasn’t sure how to execute it. I emailed Taryn on a holiday weekend explaining my idea and asking for inspiration for how to make it happen. She responded so quickly with at least 4 different ideas... which led us to an answer about how to bring this vision to life! What was most impressive about Taryn was that at our month out meeting with our venue, she had a solution for EVERY potential conflict between me and the venue. Taryn’s experience, practicality and ability to read a room while fully standing in my corner was really incredible. She made sure that everything we wanted would be executed to perfection. She also knew answers to every single question asked about contracts — I was in awe! And when the venue told me that my floor plan was impossible to pull off, Taryn took over and worked some magic without missing a beat. Still don’t know how she figured it out! One of the big reasons we chose to hire an outside planner was to help with a fair amount of “schlepping” in both the setup, teardown and moving of decor from the church ceremony to the reception. Little did I know that TBE also offers to take ALL of the decor at the rehearsal the night before so that on the day of the wedding neither I, my husband or my family members had to worry about remembering to bring decor, booze, etc. this was such an unexpected surprise that was SO valuable. Of course on the day of the wedding Taryn and her team were absolute pros. Taryn was so calm yet she also kept spirits light and had me feeling good in the anxious moments before going down the aisle! What stands out the most during the cocktail hour/reception was during a very long string of family photos, I said (to no one, I thought) that I was really ready to drink! Literally a minute later a member of taryns team had a truly for me. Wow can we all be pampered like this every day??!! I knew TBE would be good but I didn’t realize how helpful they would be in SO many aspects. I was legit sad when Taryn left for the night, even though she left us in the extremely capable hands of her team! Speaking of her team - I couldn’t believe how many badass TBE chicks were there the day of my wedding for the price that I paid (3-4 I believe). TBE was so easily worth the money. Life saver
TBE is the best in the business! Honestly, create space in your budget for them! After feeling overwhelmed, I made a last minute decision to no longer do ANY planning... in hindsight, all I had done was choose colors and vendors and it felt like there were still 1594 things left to do.
With 4 month notice, Taryn was able to execute our vibe, pull together an entire design board (which she emailed me 24 hours after we met), she created a DETAILED timeline so even though I didn’t have anything to do with planning I was still in the know, and she was available to bring me back to Earth when I had questions. She made me look forward to my wedding again!
The day of our wedding, Deb was there bright and early setting up and Taryn was at our reception location setting up! All we had to do was sit back and get ready because everything was taken care of. Taylor ended the night with us and did all the tear down. We didn’t have to lift a finger. All I wanted to do was get married and have fun, and that’s honestly what I did. Everything was perfect thanks to this dream team!

Couldn’t Have Done It Without Her
Can’t say enough great things about TBE. The team we had working with us were amazing.
Jen was our decor contact and though it started rough (we didn’t have a clue what we wanted in terms of colors, themes, etc), she really shepherded us brought the process with a sense of humor and patience. She was always available when I needed to talk and it was nothing for her to spend time on the phone with me (different locations) to go over things until I was comfortable. Her suggestions and ideas were so creative and really made our decor eclectic, but coordinated. It was beautiful.
Tayrn was an absolute dream to work with. She made wedding planning as stress-free as it possibly could be. She was there at every step and not only found vendors, but also then coordinated the contracts and payments as well. She is also incredibly responsive whenever we had a question or a comment. Her contacts in the industry are incredible and we ended up with a dream team of vendors all because of her!
I loved working with Tayrn and her team. They go above and beyond (case in point, there was a furniture delivery snafu on the wedding day and Tayrn and her team were actually rushing around to help unload and set up the furniture that was late. I don’t have full details, but I know they handled it smoothly and without stress to me!) One of my favorite parts was two weeks before, she emailed all the vendors and told them to basically leave Mark and I alone and to contact her with any questions! It was THE BEST!!
I can not recommend TBE enough. We couldn’t have had the wedding we did without them. As two people with very demanding jobs, we wouldn’t have had the time to research vendors, organize contracts and keep payments straight. We had our dream day all because of Tayrn. I would absolutely work with them again!!-

Worry Free!
Where do I even start! I can not say enough good things about Daniele. She made me feel like everything was under control after our first meeting. She is extremely confident and responsive. She was super accommodating to our schedules and blew me away with her organizational skills. I originally didn’t think we would need a wedding coordinator, but boy was I wrong. She took care of everything and made me feel so much more relaxed. Everyone kept telling me I seemed so calm and I kept telling them that I am so confident in my planner and our vendors that I know I don’t have anything to worry about! I don’t know what we would have done without her. An hour before our outdoor ceremony it down-poured and they had to move the whole ceremony to a different location. She felt so bad but I had no doubt it would be just as perfect and that she and her team would take care of everything. I actually don’t know what I would have done without her and her team for that. It would have been a mess and I would have been a bigger mess. I am forever grateful for Daniele and her team for making our wedding day the most perfect day. I can’t thank them enough! -

Organized! On point! Couldn’t pull it off without TBE!
Ever since Taryn and I first spoke on the phone, I knew I was in good hands. We hired TBE as a day of coordinator, and we got much more than that! From the pre-wedding organization to the day of execution, Taryn and staff helped us execute a flawless wedding day.
After speaking with Taryn on the phone several times, I couldn’t wait to meet her in person. Our wedding was in November and I had so many concerns regarding the potential weather forecast to our first dance. She reassured me we were in good hands. But I didn’t realize just how good of hands we were in until we first met at our venue, the Barn at Grimmel Farms. After meeting with Taryn on site and showing her my vision on decor and the flow of the night, the event coordinator from BGF, Kristen, pulled me aside and said, “I have never met someone so organized in my life. She’s amazing!” That’s when I knew we made the right choice.
My husband and I wanted to have a bit of a “different” wedding. Rather than having the traditional wedding events, we decided to change it up a bit, like being announced at cocktail hour with all of our loved ones standing around with a drink in hand. We wanted a fast paced first dance (American Country Love Song - Jake Owen) in the middle of everyone standing. I wanted a wine lounge for all the wise women to sip their wine and watch us youngsters tear up the dance floor. Taryn assured me she could help us pull off these ideas, and she did. We had vendors from all over whom had never worked together before, and Taryn communicated every request. From table rentals to the DJ to our caterer to the florist, she handled everything. Each vendor had a clear image of what the agenda would be, and they all enjoyed working with TBE.
I am forever grateful to Taryn and the TBE team for allowing myself, my husband, and my family to fully enjoy our wedding day. Without them, we wouldn’t have been able to soak it all in and enjoy every moment.
One last thing: right before I walked down the aisle with my father I was overcome with emotion. With my eyes filling up with tears, I was so full of excitement, nerves, love... I had to get it together. Taryn quickly pulled me aside and reminded me of what a special moment I was about to experience. “Look around at everyone as you walk down. See the faces of people who traveled near and far to be here today. If your eyes are full of tears you won’t be able to see all the smiling faces. Take your time and soak it in.” This has stuck with me since. I can still close my eyes and see that moment clear as day. Thank you Taryn for making the best day of my life the most unforgettable and flawless event! -

TBE were simply A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!
Words cannot do justice for how invaluable both Taryn and Jen were for Ben and I leading up to our wedding and on the day of. Ben and I both are currently living in Australia and decided to get married in my home state (PA). We were a bit nervous about planning a wedding from not only overseas but across the world. From the moment we spoke to Taryn, she instantly brought us out of a state of overwhelming panic and confusion.
Jen (décor planner) immediately got in contact with us and helped bring our pinterest board inspiration to life! During the planning process, Jen was extremely responsive through emails creating personalised checklists, provided a range of options for staying in our budget and was constantly sending through items that matched our décor guide. She made phone calls for us, was constantly in touch with us to remind us of things we needed to do and always made herself available for a chat or a meeting. Everything was so organised and we were SO excited to see our fairy-tale come to life on the day. It exceeded expectations.
As the date approached, Taryn saved us so much time and unnecessary stress that came with organising our big day. Our wedding was amazing… practically perfect. Taryn was there from the very beginning coordinating everyone and everything: Makeup, Hair, Celebrant, Caterer, Bar, DJ, florist, transport, furniture hire companies... not to mention setting up and packing up all the decor and coordinating 125 guests!!! Not only was Taryn extremely organised, she was a kind and fun person to have around on the day! I told her that it was like having another friend at the wedding 😊 She genuinely cared about making sure that we were calm, relaxed and happy throughout the day. She even went and bought the bridesmaids Dunkin Donuts!
If you are looking for someone to assist with planning your special day, I honestly cannot recommend TBE highly enough. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Tbe is everything
I took some time really planning out what I was going to write in this review because frankly Taryn Blake Events is EVERYTHING. My wedding truly would not have happened without Taryn, Jen and the whole TBE team. From the moment I had my first phone call with Taryn I knew she was the perfect person to help plan my wedding. She provided a detailed list of trusted vendors who had worked at my venue and gave constant guidance on who would fit my wedding vision. Speaking of wedding vision, we decided to also have Jen from TBE plan the decor for our wedding. Let me tell you, that was truly the best money we could have spent. Jen took my entire pinterest wedding brain and planned a vision board and decor that was exactly what I had pictured in my dreams. By the end of the planning process with Jen I would joke with people that she knew me better then my fiance did. Jen designed a true fall wonderland, she helped with everything from finding the perfect invitations to basically every single detail (including details I didn’t even know needed to be details). On the day of the wedding Taryn and Jen were QUEENS! There is really no other way to describe it. Taryn spent endless hours arranging and rearrange my schedule to help my vendors get exactly the amount of time they needed to make my perfect wedding vision come to life. When my belt broke during the first look photos they provided belt surgery in the Bridal cottage with glue, thread, and air conditioner drying service. Everyone on Taryn’s team was there for every single thing I could have needed usually before I even knew I needed it (including running back to the bridal cottage to get my sandals and then HELPING ME PUT THEM ON MY FEET). I truly cannot put into words how amazing Taryn and her team are! If you are thinking about booking them for your wedding and you are reading this review don’t wait… BOOK THEM RIGHT NOW (and go follow her on Instagram :) )! -

We chose the Day of Coordination with Taryn Blake Events for our wedding. Taryn was so delightful and responsive over email as we set up our contract. We ended up working with Deb for the actual coordination. Deb got all of our contracts together, communicated with our vendors (so we didn't have to), met with us before the wedding, helped us practice the ceremony the night before, and she and Taylor were there during our ceremony to make sure everything went off without a hitch. Our day went so smoothly, and that was in large part due to Deb's efforts. We original didn't want to hire a wedding coordinator (we didn't think we needed it) but we were wrong! It took so much pressure and stress off of us on the day of our wedding, and we couldn't have picked a better team to help us! -

Where do I begin? Jennifer Rossetti with Taryn Blake Events NC came highly recommended from a coworker, and we totally hit the jackpot! Jenn was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. From our very first conversation, we knew she and I would work well together, she just really got me! With our wedding being a destination in Wilmington (we live in Atlanta), Jenn was able to provide helpful recommendations on local vendors and had previous experience with our venue. Though we contracted TBE for month of coordination, Jenn provided advice and unlimited hours of emails and phone conversations. Choosing to use Taryn Blake Events was the best decision I made for my wedding day! I worked with Jen and my husband and I could not have been more pleased with her. She was so helpful throughout the whole process and very knowledgeable. I was really grateful for how available she was as well, always returning emails and phone calls promptly and answering all the many questions I had. We went with the one month package and were thoroughly impressed with how much it included. The walkthrough of our venue a few months before the big day was hugely helpful. Jen took notes and made a layout of our floor plan including tons of details which made set up a breeze. She also is very creative and had a great eye for decorating and pulling everything together exactly how we wanted it. Having her help with going over contracts and things like our invitations was so valuable. We used TBE for the Day of Coordination package. Where do I start with the amazing team that works at Taryn Blake Events? From the moment I first spoke with Taryn on the phone to discuss possible wedding details, to the final hug I gave Deb at the end of our wedding night, Taryn and her team exceeded our expectations throughout every step of the wedding planning process! Taryn, Deb, and the entire TBE team are amazing, and you're crazy if you don't hire them for your wedding! Oh my where do I even begin? Jen worked with me for the planning of our wedding and was nothing short of amazing! Hiring Jen was the best decision made around our wedding planning. Logistically I worried it may be difficult planning a wedding in VA, living in PA and Jen living in NC. This was not an issue at all! Jen and I talked regularly and she was quick to respond to every e-mail. When my wedding venue continued to have turnover and I had multiple contacts, Jen was there every step of the way to help. On my wedding day everyone continued to ask me how I was so calm. My answer was simple that I trusted Jen and I knew that it was all under control! From start to finish she made everything seamless! I cannot recommend Taryn Blake Events enough!!! We hired Jen as our month-of coordinator for our wedding in Wilmington, NC. I honestly can't say enough good things about working with Taryn and her team for our wedding. I am a very much type A person who loves to plan things but knew I would be stressed on our wedding day if there wasn't a point person. As soon as I talked to Taryn, I knew her and her team would be perfect. She helped me throughout the entire process and made everything feel so stress-free. She coordinated everything with our vendors including timing, delivery, and set-up. The month-of, I did not have to worry about a thing! Even when some issues came up with setting up flowers at the church, she handled it all and helped me so much with not feeling stressed. The day of our wedding, all of the wedding party was commenting how smoothly everything went. I can honestly say that is all thanks to Taryn and her team. We had Taryn, Deb, and Kylie there and they were all AMAZING. Friends in my wedding party who did not have planners all said that was their biggest mistake. It was truly the best money we could have spent. If you have any doubts about hiring a planner, all I can say is you will not regret it. I felt so much more present and excited on our wedding day thanks to TBE! They allowed me to focus on what was truly important that day and not on the small details! -

Taryn's team was excellent. I chose the day of service. A couple months out she began collecting all of my contracts, arranging schedules, and helping me with last minute details. I felt as though I was continually sending her emails and she always responded right away. On the day of the wedding, her & her team completely fulfilled the vision for my wedding. I gave her boxes of decorations and she went above and beyond adding special touches around the venue. Taryn kept everything on schedule and going smoothly while I was able to sit back and enjoy the day. I give her my highest recommendation! -

Taryn's team was incredible. We were pretty hesitant at first to hire a day of coordinator, but we are SO GLAD we did. Deb and Gail did a wonderful job and were so helpful setting everything up and keeping the wedding party on schedule. We could not have done it without them! They would check in with us throughout the morning and keep us up to date on the set up, centerpieces, décor, etc.
They made our wedding day go so smoothly that we did not have to stress about anything. We found out our bartenders were missing an ingredient for one of our specialty drinks about 10 minutes before the ceremony. Once we mentioned it to Deb and Gail they took care of it immediately, no one even knew this was an issue. They went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfect. I would recommend TBE to anyone. -

Taryn was an absolute lifesaver. We were at first hesitant over whether to bring on a wedding planner to help but it turned out to be the best decision we made. Taryn was overly accommodating and helpful, saving us countless hours of time and constantly giving candid advice that guided our decisions. When it came to the week-of and day-of planning, her no-nonsense, calm, and collected approach kept everything and everyone on track without seeming at any times stressful. Taryn Blake Events is simply the best. -

Where do I even begin?! Hiring Jen was by far the best decision we made and the best money we spent while planning our wedding! The first few months of my wedding planning process, I tried doing it all myself and was having a very hard time doing so. A friend of mine had Jen as her wedding planner and recommended her to me and she was seriously a god send for me!! She went WAY above and beyond for us throughout the entire planning process and she helped bring our vision to reality. My recommendation to all brides- hire a planner and hire TBE!!! Anytime I had a question, or needed advice, reminders or clarification she took charge and it was such a weight off my shoulders. She always responded very quickly and was always on top of everything!! Exactly what every bride needs, as there are always a million things running through or minds or on our "to-do" lists... Jen made sure everything was covered at all times and was always on top of my timeline, payment date,s etc! Our wedding day was PERFECTION and Jen was a major part of that!! I had ZERO stress the day of my wedding and I know I owe Jen for that too!! I would recommended Jen to anyone and we can't thank her enough for everything she's done leading up to our wedding and especially on our wedding day! It was the best and happiest day of our lives!! We worked with Jen Rossetti from TBE. We no longer live in NC so she helped us plan our destination wedding in Oak Island. She was great to work with from our first call to the wedding day. She helped relieve much stress during the process. She coordinated all vendors and helped ensure the wedding day ran smoothly. She helped decorate which turned out so beautiful. I don't know what we would've done with her assistance! I'm so glad we chose to use Jen for our wedding planning services! -

Where do I even begin!? Jen & Taryn are absolutely amazing. I had zero stress on my wedding day and I credit that all to TBE. If I could offer one bit of advice to brides-it would be to hire a wedding planner!!!!! And even more, hire TBE. My wedding day was absolutely PERFECT. Jen & Taryn make sure every single little detailed is handled. On the day of the wedding, I was just able to relax while Jen and Taryn handled everything that needed to be done.
Something that I loved was how quick they responded to emails. Literally, Taryn would respond within MINUTES. They were always patient and worked with me and our vendors to make everything exactly how I envisioned it. Literally, every single element from our wedding was exactly what I imagined in my head. I don't think this would have been possible without TBE.
In addition to coordinating with all the vendors and handling everything the day of, they were also super helpful with the little questions and advice needed along the way. Ex) What should I do if my sister in law isn't in the wedding party? They have an answer for everything!
Also, Jen & Taryn are super awesome. Jen and Taryn are so friendly and share in your excitement over the little things like table linens, ha. I can honestly say we not only hired the best in business but we made two great friends.
Please, do yourself a favor and hire TBE. They will make the wedding planning process so EASY!

Jen was absolutely AMAZING throughout the entire planning process. She was a joy to work with and was extremely organized. Our original venue made a huge mistake and misquoted us on the maximum number of guests they allowed. Months into the planning process for this venue, we had to start over from scratch. Jen went above and beyond and was able to help us find another venue in a matter of weeks. The second venue ended up being exactly what we were looking for! I can't say enough about how thorough, organized, and enjoyable Jen is to work with! We have a few friends getting married and we recommend Jen and Taryn Blake Events with no hesitation. I am convinced we worked with the best wedding planner there is. If you have found yourself lucky enough to have found this webpage, do yourself a favor and ask for Jen. We can not say enough about Jen! She was absolutely incredible as our day of coordinator!! She was on top of things throughout the whole process and made sure everything was perfect! She had great suggestions and brought attention to key parts of a wedding that I overlooked! She made our special day go so smoothly that we had no stress or worry; we were able to fully enjoy our wedding day, from the start to the finish!! She was even able to flip our space last minute to give us the outdoor ceremony we had hoped for! Like I started this, we can not say enough about how great Jen was! I highly recommend her!!! -

I had multiple different vendors, a 25 table room flip during cocktail hour and a wedding party full of family members and I could not have pulled off my wedding without Taryn and her team. She is quick to respond back via email or text and very organized! I felt immediate sense of calm the minute I got off the phone after our initial consultation. THE BEST WEDDING INVESTMENT I MADE!!! To say that Jen made my life easy was an understatement. Jen and I worked together for over a year to make sure that my wedding was the perfect day. I started my planning from Texas but was able to contact her by email or skype whenever I needed and never felt like I was out of control. With the help of Taryn Blake Event's planning tool and budget worksheet I was never behind and always knew what was happening. Though I hired Jen for month of coordinating I felt like she was always by my side. Even my mother-in-law thought I lied to her about hiring Jen for full coordination. Haha. Whether it was venue tour, contract reading, or hair and makeup trials Jen was always by my side and in full control of the situation. Talk about thorough! The emails to all of my wedding party, family, and vendors with a minute by minute schedule breakdown was so incredibly thorough. Even my attorney father said he had never seen any document so detailed. To top everything off Jen is just the most amazing PERSON. She made all of my family and friends feel comfortable and loved, as well as stress free and, well, coordinated. Even when we realized at the last minute that I had forgotten to order napkins... not a problem. Just one phone call from Jen and a drive to the vendor(which she made) and we had beautiful napkins. I could go on forever and ever about how special Jen is to my husband and I. I feel like I have made a friend for life. If you don't hire her you are absolutely crazy!!! -

My husband and I chose to get married in Wilmington even though we're not from the area, and quickly realized we would need the help of a wedding coordinator. Enter Jen with Taryn Blake Events, and the rest of planning went smoothly and relatively stress free as far as planning a wedding goes! Jen went above and beyond from day one, always made herself available to assist with planning, and handled all situations as a consummate professional. Everyone in my family commented to me how wonderful she was after just meeting her at the rehearsal. Our wedding day went flawlessly and I can't imagine having done it without Jen's help. She clearly cares about her clients and took the time to get to know us and understand our vision. I could go on and on about how great she is, and have absolutely zero reservations about recommending her to anyone in the area!! Thank you so much for everything! -

Taryn and team were absolutely phenomenal. I feel that Taryn services allowed me to enjoy my wedding day as well as planning! We went through so much - everything from our first venue falling through to, having very unique aspects, and having our dog at the venue!! I can't explain I'm words how grateful we were for Taryn and her team. She took all the stress of the month before planning away allowed my husband and I to enjoy the time before. Taryn was an absolute lifesaver for us during our planning process & wedding day. Our wedding was at a newer venue that experienced a bit of turnover during our year of planning, so it was extremely comforting to have Taryn on our side, who knew what our vision was from the beginning. I worry about everything, and Taryn was always there with a reassuring word, which was priceless. When we realized our original plan of an outdoor ceremony & cocktail hour would no longer be possible, due to an impending hurricane, Taryn made sure that our "Plan B" was just as, if not more perfect than our original plan. She totally took charge and she and Deb (and our amazing florist) created the most romantic and intimate indoor space I could have ever imagined. I am still getting compliments on how beautiful our wedding ceremony was. A few of the groomsmen commented that the staff at our venue was going to Taryn for direction by the middle of the day! Taryn truly makes the planning process less stressful, ESPECIALLY during the last month and day of. I was able to relax and take in my entire day, because I knew Taryn was in control. I can't say enough good things about working with the TBE team, simply amazing! -

Jen did an excellent job helping to coordinate the wedding. I don't know what I would have done without her help. She was so helpful throughout the planning process and helping me to think about things I wouldn't have even included. She was there for last minute decisions and set everything up for us beautifully. She helped me make a last minute decision on sides for a tent to prevent rain from falling on my guests which ended up being a great decision. I was told by several people that working with a planner/coordinator was the best decision I could make and it turned out everyone was right. It was a perfect day and I'm so happy I chose to work with Jennifer and Taryn Blake Events. -

My husband and I were originally going for a "non-traditional" wedding. We couldn't do anything by the book. Our parents didn't love that. Taryn was the perfect person to help find the middle ground. She coordinated all of our vendors, the venue, schedule, and every last little detail with great ease. Oh and we lived on the other side of the country so she did all this without a lot of face-to-face meetings. We had an issue where a food truck that was supposed to cater fall through (unfortunately, the business closed). Taryn was able to find an equitable vendor to fill our needs that she had previously worked with. They did a fantastic job. We experienced so much joy on our wedding day and we owe it all to her.
