Knowledgeable and Organized

Tara is not only a fantastic person but she is amazing at her job! Loved the communication and thoughtfulness, made me lose any stress I had while planning my wedding and especially the day of. I was able to enjoy the wedding! She also did my flowers, which turned out extraordinary!

Best Planner Around

I could not say enough wonderful things about Tara. Before Covid, Tara was helping us plan a beautiful wedding with about 250 people. Later this year, we had some family health issues come up, so with a 3 week notice, we told Tara we wanted to change our plans to a small intimae wedding of 20 people (family only). Within 3 weeks, Tara helped us pull together the MOST special wedding a girl could ask for, and if I could do it all over again, I'd do it the same way. From her BEAUTIFUL flowers, to getting everyone organized, and everything together in 3 weeks, we would have never been able to pull this off without her. Tara, I can't thank you enough for everything you did to make my day PERFECT. Thank you!!!

Best decision in wedding/event planning

Hiring Tara was the smartest and best thing we did when planning our daughter’s wedding. There are so many details and small things that you may not think about when planning a wedding but Tara is on top of everything. She made the entire experience more manageable and less stressful for everyone.

Go with Tara for a stress free wedding!

I can't imagine my wedding going so smoothly without Tara. Tara's coordination with our vendors resulted in a stress free wedding day for my mom and me. Tara took my initial ideas and improved them based on her industry knowledge and expertise. Money well spent and would highly recommend Tara to other brides!

Tara was our wedding planner. I am the bride.

Tara was our wedding planner for our wedding this July and absolutely exceeded any expectations we could have ever had. She went through the ENTIRE process with us from beginning planning to the end of the reception, and helped in any way that she could through the planning process and the entirety of the wedding day. She was positive, reminded me of all that needed to be done (while keeping me not overwhelmed) during planning, made us her complete priority through keeping on top of the planning process/ handled so many businesses so we did not have to, and was genuine to my husband and I the day of our wedding to make us feel absolutely perfect. We would communicate through text, email, Skype, and face to face conversations at whatever time necessary in order to prepare for the day as well (mentally, emotionally, and for wedding preparations). She was also amazing with providing us with contacts and necessary vendors (like Cake, Transportation, Dj, Printing companies, etc- and they were all wonderful as well- to the tea! She knew the right contacts to give us the things we dreamed for the day. Also, Tara herself was in charge of our decorations, flowers, and total scene of both the ceremony and reception venue. Both of which BLEW US AWAY and gave the look that we absolutely wanted. So many people have complimented that it was one of the most gorgeous/best weddings they have ever been to (both looks and smoothness of the day)- and Tara is to thank for so much of that!
She genuinely is like a one stop shop to perfection for a perfect planning process, perfect venue, and a perfect wedding day. If you want someone who is on top of things, is willing to take care of you/the people getting married, get you the things you want and need, keep you calm and happy, and make your day everything you could’ve ever wanted- Tara needs to be a part of your special day. Ryan and I truly could NOT have imagined this day without her and we are SO thankful she was in this experience with us. ❤️

Highly recommended!

Tara was wonderful to work with. Her knowledge and expertise were invaluable. She was with us every step of the way and even provided the flowers and decorated the reception venue. Her floral and greenery arrangements at the church and reception received many compliments. On the day of the wedding, we were able to enjoy ourselves, knowing that Tara had all the details under control. Some plans had to be adjusted due to inclement weather and she handled it flawlessly. Overall, it was a beautiful wedding and reception that exceeded our expectations.

Excellent wedding coordinator!

Tara was amazing during my whole wedding experience. She was helpful when it came to getting in contact with vendors and paying all bills. She also did all of the decor and flowers at both my rehearsal and wedding. She was very responsive to all of my questions and when I needed her she was just a text away. I would recommend Tara to anyone who was in need of a wedding planner, florist or day of coordinator. She does it all!

I recently worked with Tara on an event that relocates each year. I had never been to this venue and wouldn't be able to see it in advance of the dinner, but felt fully confident working with Tara. She made excellent suggestions based on the color schemes of our logos as well as the location and her choices were thoughtful and perfect enhancements to the space within the budget I'd given her to work with. I would highly recommend Tara to others in the future and hope I travel her way and am able to work with her again myself!

Tara helped me out so much during the wedding planning process. I was living a few states away and very stressed about planning my wedding, and Tara did a great job relieving the stress. She found my wedding venue since we were struggling to decide on a location. She was always available to meet in person if I was in town, she would join me for any appointments that I wanted her to, and she would FaceTime or call me to check in to make sure the planning was on schedule. The icing on the cake for me was the day of my wedding when I didn't like what I had chosen for my cake table a few hours before my reception, when I walked back in the room, she had developed a whole new look that was perfect. Tara made sure to keep my look in mind, and designed everything the way I would do it myself! Definitely worth the money!

With my daughter living out of state and me 7 hours away, Tara's service was invaluable. She saved us many hours and lots of stress. I already knew Tara would be awesome to work with because my sister used her for her wedding in 2012! Tara helped to make our whole wedding weekend run smooth and kept everything super organized! Before we booked a wedding planner, I’ll be honest--we had some questions. Were we sure we needed the help? Couldn’t we do it ourselves? Well… Long story short, we decided that Tara’s help was a necessity, and we are SO glad we got to work with her! (And yes, we figured out we certainly did need the help!!) Tara is not only incredibly professional and efficient, but she is also such a kind person and a true joy to work with.
I just learned first-hand that until you’ve lived through a wedding yourself, you don’t really know how many important last minute details and issues come up in the 3-4 weeks before your wedding. Tara was a HUGE help to us. She took our wedding ideas and helped us to plan and execute them perfectly. As the “day-of” planner for our rehearsal and wedding day, she made sure everything ran smoothly and made our day much more enjoyable and stress-free. I cannot recommend Tara enough! With her “behind the scenes” help, you and your family can simply enjoy your wedding day without having to worry about the many details that all need to come together! Tara does a fantastic job with everything she does, and she really goes above and beyond to make your day amazing.

All I can say is that my wedding was absolutely perfect! I could not have asked for anything more, and it will always be one of the best days of my life. Thanks to Tara, everything went smoothly and everyone truly enjoyed themselves. She is professional, courteous, artistic and made my vision a reality. I can be demanding at times, and never felt that there was anything she couldn't handle. To sum it up... I want to do it all over again. I would and will use Tara for any future event that I need to plan. She is more than a planner to me...she's a friend.

Our wedding was almost a year ago (I can't believe it! Time flies!) and I still can't get over how wonderful it was to have Tara help us plan our wedding! She managed so many of the stressful aspects of the planning and coordination the day of, and I really am not sure how we could have managed without her! Thanks for making our day anxiety-free and leaving a lasting impression Tara! Family and friends still talk about how beautiful our wedding was and how well it went! Tara was invaluable during the year long wedding planning; we could not have done it without her, especially as the wedding was out of town. She was able to recommend photographer, baker, florist, videographer, etc. She also researched anything we needed her to do, made phone calls to whom ever we needed info from & was able to advise us on any number of issues. The wedding weekend went beautifully because Tara & Travis worked so hard to make the Rehearsal Dinner & Wedding happen without a glitch. Tara is an energetic, hard worker who gets things done. She made it clear from the start that her job was to make sure our daughter & her fiancé had the wedding they wanted and she did just that.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tara Bland. My fiance and I wanted a destination wedding in Asheville, NC. We were a bit nervous about planning a wedding, and even more nervous about taking on a destination wedding. From the moment we met Tara, she gave us the confidence and reassurance we needed to be able to carry out an absolutely perfect wedding. Our planning process was so easy and enjoyable thanks to her. She kept us to a structured agenda so that we knew what decisions we needed to make and when. She always greeted us with a smile on her face and a hug. She is such a genuine person and her support meant the world to us. She has the ability to listen to your vision and make it come to life. She walked us through every step of the way with confidence and ease. She knows such talented people and opens you up to a world that will make your wedding day everything that you could have ever imagined and more. On the wedding day, she was calm and composed and was able to make everything happen so that we did not have to worry at all. We have gotten so many compliments on how smoothly the day flowed. Tara's husband Travis is a joy to meet as well. We were so happy to have him along for the ride and certainly consider both of them a happy addition to our lives. Tara did the flowers and table arrangements for our rehearsal dinner as well and did an amazing job. She captured exactly what we wanted. This day would not have been possible and would not have been as perfect as it was without her services. She makes such a commitment to her clients regardless of what is going on in her personal life. Wedding planning can be so daunting and there are so many things that you don't even think of. We are so grateful to have had Tara by our side for those moments and the not so easy to discuss moments. We will be forever thankful to have had her by our side.

Tara and the service she provided were absolutely wonderful! The flowers, wedding, venue, menu, decorations were beautiful and exactly what my daughter hoped for. There is not one thing we would change!

Tara was my wedding coordinator and florist for a March 2014 wedding in Conover, NC, and wow was she amazing! We were able to meet several times before the wedding and she was always available to answer questions over phone or email. She met my budget perfectly with the flowers and they were truly gorgeous! So many people came up to me asking who did the flowers because they were some of the most beautiful they had seen at a wedding.

As far as her organization and planning as the wedding coordinator, we could not have asked for anything better! I didn't stress over a single thing on the day of the wedding because everything was taken care of and organized to a T. Tara kept us on track through the rehearsal, pre-ceremony photos, ceremony, and reception. I can't say enough times how much help Tara was and how happy I am that I spent the money to have her as a coordinator.

Her services were worth every penny, especially if you are thinking about having a family member or a friend direct your wedding-Don't! Leave it to a professional and you will be so much happier! Thank you Tara!!!

Tara took care of so many things that I had not thought of. I was able to enjoy the day with my daughter knowing that everything was getting done. She is very professional and my family members were very impressed with her at the reception. Couldn't have done it without her. Tara did an outstanding job on all the details! On the day of the wedding she was a calming influence and handled everything and everyone in a very professional way. She even found the missing groom's ring and saved the day! Lance was available to arrange and rearrange furniture, and did anything to be helpful! He even blew off the deck in case anyone might want to go outside! All the employees did an outstanding job and we were so proud of all of them.

Without Tara, I wouldn't have had the wedding of my dreams. I had no interest in planning. I showed my mother and Tara a few pictures and together, they made the dreams a reality. I was able to work full time as a lawyer and plan a move from North Carolina to Connecticut because of Tara's help with planning AND IMPLEMENTING the ideas to create my big day as a bride.

Tara was always positive. If we wanted something, she figured out a way to get it. She never complained or told us that she couldn't do something. She gave us good advice. You could tell she knew her stuff. She'd obviously had much experience with previous weddings and could draw upon her experience.

Tara gave me the wedding I have always dreamed of.
I showed Tara many pictures of the "look" I wanted for the wedding. I explained to her the mood that I wanted to set for the event. Tara knew exactly what I was looking for and gave us exactly that.
A guest described to me after the wedding how she felt when she walked into the venue. It was word for word what I had told Tara I wanted for the reception.
Tara was extrememly flexible to work with and very helpful and professional.

Tara was invaluable to us in our wedding planning. She was a wealth of ideas and sources. Probably the best money we spent on the entire wedding. She was there to manage the reception the day of the wedding from start to finish which was priceless. It allowed my daughter and I to have beautiful quality time together without having to worry about the reception details.

Her flowers were exquisite and were very reasonable. She was wonderful about listening to what my daughter wanted and coming up with ideas that gave her exactly the right thing.

Tara was very helpful throughout the entire process of planning my wedding. I had a little less than a year to plan and she let me decide how many times that I wanted to meet with her and she was always more than willing to set up a time when I wanted to meet. She responded to all questions in a very timely manner. She had many great ideas to share, especially when planning the reception. On the day of my wedding she was right there by my side the entire time to make sure that everything was going as planned. Everything took place exactly as it should have. She made sure that I was happy and stress free the entire day. I even had several guests comment after my wedding how professional my wedding planner was!

Tara did a great job of coordinating our wedding and providing flowers. Our wedding included a bride and groom in two different towns and the wedding in another. She was able to work with us in person, through email , and by phone. She was extremely professional and we received many positive comments from other vendors and wedding guests related to her organizational skills and her calm demeanor. I can't say enough for how wonderful Tara was. She handled every issue I presented to her with a calm manner that took the pressure of off me. She's extremely knowledgeable about reception food, venues and flowers. She was able to execute our plan for the reception and complete it so it was perfect. She has a resource list of photographers, bands, dj's and wedding cake bakers. She was very honest and upfront with her answers concerning recommendations that I requested. If it would not have been for Tara, I'm not sure our wedding would have been as great as it was! I was a bride getting married in Hickory but living 3 hours away in Raleigh...trying to plan a wedding via e-mail 90% of the time. Tara met with us over holiday breaks & weekends when I was in town & always responded to an email within 24 hours. She was a great confidant and was someone I could trust with the most important day of my life. She knows what she's doing & will make sure things will go the way they you want them to go.

Tara was there for me from the day I started my wedding planning to me leaving the reception. I was so very pleased with all the work she put into the wedding to make it exactly the day that I envisioned. She kept all my venders up to date with our wedding plans, and when my car did not show up at the church to take me to the reception she took him aside (when he did finally show up over an hour late) and told him he owed us that hour. We ended up getting a drive from Hickory to Charlotte so my husband could not worry about driving us after drinking. The whole day went so smoothly and she was by my side at every turn letting me know what was going on next. You may think you don't need a planner for your wedding, but believe me, there are so many things that a bride doesn't' think of that the planner is there to coordinate and do for you! My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Tara; we would highly recommend her!!!

Tara was wonderful! I am the mother of the bride and Tara worked with us as director, wedding planner, florist and reception. She is so full of energy, has a sunny and positive attitude and is such a pleasure to work with. It great having Tara to over see everything during the reception,I had more time with guest . She took care of things it all went real smooth .Things off the tables were put into a room untill the next day! Start planning early! Tara was very helpful with my daughter's wedding! Having a person to bounce ideas off of and get suggestions from was crucial for pulling off the most wonderful day of a girl's life. Tara handled my wedding day coordination as well as some pre-planning sessions prior to the big day. I had A LOT of different ideas and personal touches that I wanted to include, and Tara helped give life to my vision and make my dreams become a reality. Tara is very knowledgeable about vendors in the area. She was very helpful in choosing the menu, beer and wine to make the reception fun but not too extravagant. At the church before the ceremony she could have used a 2nd person to help as there was a lot going on. I would recommend her to friends.

Mostly, I needed a director, flowers, & food.The beginning it was easy, we met & she responded to my emails and calls.As time was getting closer I needed a male singer for 1 solo she recommended her brother.I repeatedly asked for samples of his work that I never got.She said she would email them or get me a cd.Never got it. He sang at the rehearsal and I was NOT impressed.I had no time to find someone else.Luckily, the pianist/soloist blew it out of the water & hopefully her wonderful voice is remembered & not his medicore voice that ruined a wonderful song.Next she recommended a caterer.Someone she knew personally. We met w/ the caterer & were pleased with the menu & agreed to pricing.Come wedding day,the caterer didn't even come to the reception.Her husband & daughter were the ones there.There wasn't enough food to feed the guests that were there (which was less than what we paid for).We were guaranteed any leftover food & drink (per our contract).They packed up the food & drink before people finished eating.So we couldn't get any.We have sent a letter to that caterer with our unhappiness with her lack of service & did not receive a reponse.On the rehearsal day I had the venue reserved from 12pm-7pm to prepare for reception & ceremony.My planner told me she would be there to help partitions, tables, chairs, set up arrangements, etc, she did not get there til after 3pm.We did all the hard work & she came when it was convienent for her. On the morning of the wedding I had forgotten my veil at the venue & thus didn't have it with me when I got my hair done.I texted my planner numerous times concerning this.I get NO response.As a bride on her wedding day you want things to go right or at least some reassurance that it will be ok but she left me hanging & that bothered me.My maid of honor made it perfect for me.For what we paid for her & her recommendations I am not happy.She was supposed to send me a survey for feedback but hasn't.
