The most magical venue that exceeded all of our dreams for the perfect night. We tied the knot at Tappan Hill Mansion a little over a month ago and we can’t stop talking about it. This place is special – it’s charming, it’s elegant, it’s cozy and it’s timeless. Tappan Hill has so much personality and made us feel like we were home the second we walked in, and sure enough we walked out with a contract in hand. The food at Tappan Hill is truly like no other. The attention to detail, peoples allergies or restrictions, and the quality was above par. Every single bite we had was better than the next. Every step of the way the team at Tappan Hill is there to answer all of your questions, and requests, no matter how many times you’ve phrased it or how wild your request is. No idea was off limits or too crazy for them to execute and the team does everything they can to make sure that the couple has the best night. Caitlin was a joy to work with and quick to respond during the booking & planning process. Vanessa was an absolute powerhouse, no detail was left unturned, and her organization was flawless. She was such a brightness on our wedding day and we are so thankful she was there to run the day and think of all the logistics so we could just enjoy it. Our bridal attendant, Katelyn, was phenomenal, ensuring I (the bride) was catered to at every moment during the getting ready, and when it came time for ceremony & pictures, she was right there when I turned to need something. We can’t thank the Tappan Hill staff enough for putting their best foot forward so we could have our special day. It was the best venue, best food, and best staff. Can’t recommend enough!

Best Venue Ever!!!
Our wedding at Tappan Hill Mansion on 10/31/25 was absolutely magical. The team truly brought our dream wedding to life with an elegant, Halloween-theme, happily catering to our unique aesthetics. The entire staff was excellent and made sure our day went perfectly and without a hitch. They were extremely helpful every step of the way, going above and beyond even for our smaller sized wedding, on just a few months notice. Our event coordinator, John was terrific and a pleasure to work with, making sure the entire event was stress free and flowed smoothly. Our bridal attendant Ashley was also incredibly helpful and kind. She was so supportive and was right there from start to finish with exceptional effort and dedication to the bridal party. The extensive choices of food and our personalized wedding cake by Abigail Kirsch were more than delicious! Our guests are still raving about how great everything tasted and how beautiful everything was, with many quoting “It’s the best wedding they’ve ever been to”. All in all, we truly could not have chosen a better venue for the best day of our lives and highly recommend it for weddings and celebrations of any kind!

Amazing Wedding Venue!
We had our wedding at Tappan Hill Mansion in October 2025, and it was absolutely magical from start to finish. From the moment we first toured the beautiful grounds, we knew it was the perfect place for us to be married and the experience only exceeded our expectations!
The food and service were phenomenal. Every single dish lived up to Tappan Hill’s incredible reputation. Many of our guests were Indian and vegetarian, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate everyone’s dietary needs. We even collaborated with the chefs to include special Indian sweets for our Hindu ceremony, and guests are still raving about how delicious everything was!
Throughout the planning process, their communication was seamless and professional. We never felt like “just another couple” and the staff truly made us feel celebrated and cared for every step of the way.
A special shoutout to John, our event manager, who was an absolute dream to work with. He was attentive, organized, and always making sure we felt at ease. His warmth, professionalism, and calm demeanor made the day flow effortlessly. And Julia, my bridal attendant, deserves her own five stars! She was so kind and attentive! She made sure I was comfortable, well-fed, and even icing my feet at one point. on the day of our wedding!
Tappan Hill is a superb venue in every way, and we’ll be forever grateful to their team for giving us the wedding of our dreams!

Perfect Early Spring Wedding at Tappan Hill Mansion
We planned our wedding in just three months, and Tappan Hill Mansion made it not only possible but absolutely perfect! From start to finish, the team was incredible— especially Vanessa, our event manager, who worked with us each step of the way, and Katelyn, our bridal attendant, who went above and beyond the day of the wedding.
The food and service were outstanding, the space looked stunning thanks to our amazing vendors, and the venue made for beautiful photos. Our guests are still raving about the entire experience!

what an extraordinary wedding that my self and my husband had. First off we would like to thank Caitlin Who was our main planner for this wedding. She got everything that we needed to have for that wedding and made sure everything was planned correctly and was in ordered. Second my hand write Kaitlin who made sure my husband, and myself always had food, drinks, checked in with us at all times, and was the sweetest kindest person to have. The culinary staff, the food was magnificent with their texture of food, seasoning, present, and presentation of each food. The waiters and the waitresses were unbelievably so kind so respective, and always there to make sure all the guest were treated amazing. We did have some people that needed changes in their food and it was so perfect that they accommodated each guest when needed. Our wedding was extraordinary and I could not think tapping Hill staff enough.

Best, best, best!
We can't say enough good things about Tappan Hill. The team was absolutely exceptional and made our wedding day run so smoothly. There is literally so much I could say but I will try to focus on some of the highlights:
- Our event coordinator (John Glovack) was an absolute godsend. From the moment we met him two months out from our wedding we knew we'd hit the jackpot. He was positive, organized, flexible and RESPONSIVE. On the days when he was working we never went more than a few hours before we heard a reply from him. He kept track of all of our requests (food, timeline etc.) and never asked the same question twice. I don't know how he does it, but he was a huge help in the final weeks to work though all the nuances and questions from our other vendors!
- The day-of bridal attendant (Marleny) was also fantastic. For example, we arrived at the venue with multiple boxes filled with all kinds of decor. Instead of having to micro-manage and direct her on where everything should go, she was able to make some educated guesses and figure out 95% of it by herself. Periodically as I was getting ready she would come back and show me photos of where she had set things up, and I truly had no notes! She was also so helpful throughout the day (brought me water before I asked for it, helped us stay on schedule, bustled my dress after the ceremony etc.) - allowing my bridesmaids and I to be as relaxed as possible! At the end of the night, she also helped make sure all of our stuff was packed up and ready to leave, saving me the headache of trying to run around and corral everything.
- Our wedding ran like a well oiled machine. The staff is so good and the service was extremely prompt. No one was ever waiting in a line for a drink, or sitting at their table wondering where their food was!
- Speaking of the food, the food here was amazing! From our cocktail hour through to our afterparty, all of our guests commented on how delicious everything was. Not something you always get to say with wedding food to begin with, but the food here is absolutely restaurant quality!
If we had the chance to do it all over again we would pick Tappan Hill in a heartbeat. We are so grateful for John, Marleny and the whole team for making the wedding of our dreams a reality!

Dream wedding at Tappan Hill!
We had our wedding at Tappan Hill in June 2024 and had such an incredible experience! The whole team did such an amazing job throughout the planning process and on the day itself. Caitlin was such a great support in the early planning days, and we were lucky to have John as our event manager to guide us through the final planning and the wedding day itself. John was such a joy to work with and always brought such a positive and supportive energy. Our wedding exceeded all our expectations and we truly couldn’t have asked for anything more. John took care of all the logistics so we could just relax and enjoy our special day. The outdoor ceremony was beautiful and there were tons of great locations to take photos outside on the venue grounds. All the staff was so supportive and helpful and made the entire event run without a hitch. We did a pescatarian/vegan friendly menu and heard from so many guests how much they loved the food.

Best Wedding Venue Ever
Our wedding at Tappan Hill Mansion was PERFECT. Our ceremony was in the garden attached to the Hudson room and the reception was in the Hudson Room. We worked with John, who was hilarious and a true joy to work with. The venue is run so professionally. But what our guests couldn't stop talking about was the food. Not only was it of the highest quality, but it was also of the highest quantity! No skimping here...huge portions of absolutely delicious food. My husband and I wish we could go back just for dinner! The short ribs were outstanding. So was the wedding cake. Get married here!! You won't regret it!

My husband (eeeeh!) and I got married at Tappan Hill on 5/11/24 and it was PERFECTION.
From the very moment we saw this venue during our site tours, we knew we had to be married here. The ceremony location is simply breathtaking, and the entire location is beautiful & very well-kept.
Upon booking, communication with Caitlin was organized and prompt and client saervices continued to "wow" us when we were assigned our dedicated event manager John Glovack.
First, a few words about John... he is INCREDIBLE. He is not only all the things you'd hope for in a wedding manager (organized, capable, communicative) but also incredibly kind, friendly, funny, and calming. We truly couldn't have done it without him, and owe him a hundred, million "thanks".
Next, a special shoutout to our bridal attendant Marleney - she was ON point. She didn't leave a single stone unturned; offering guidance, support, and such careful attention, not just to the bride & groom, but our entire wedding party. No matter where we turned, there was Marleney with a pin to fix our hair, a drink to calm our nerves, a helping hand for outfit changes, and plenty of snacks to take home to enjoy.
Finally, the wedding itself. Everything went off without a hitch. The entire staff is incredibly capable, and professional. It was so important to us to be surrounded by such rockstars on such an important day, they truly allowed us to enjoy our moment & let normal wedding day stresses fade away. The food was DELICIOUS, served seamlessly and beautifully, and the bar service kept the drinks flowing.
Our guests have had only the most glowing things to say about Tappan Hill and the whole experience.
We had an incredible time and sincerely thank everyone at Tappan Hall for being such a huge part of it.

The perfect place to get married!
An absolutely exceptional venue! The scenery is iconic in all weather (the fall foliage was remarkable even though it was in the 40s on our wedding day and the staff took care of us to make sure we got our outdoor pictures), the interior and ballrooms are phenomenal - large, well-kept and perfect for a party - and fun, and the staff is absolutely amazing. They made wedding planning a breeze and made sure our day was absolutely perfect. If you get the choice, Vanessa Woodbury was a total superstar as our wedding coordinator and kept all of our vendors, our boisterous guests and our large families on track and partying the whole day. So easy to work with and so fun, Tappan Hill is just the perfect place to get married. We cannot recommend them enough!

Incredible all around
Tappan Hill Mansion was the perfect place for our wedding. The setting is spectacularly beautiful, and the staff unfailingly helpful and skilled — often thinking of what I needed before I even knew I needed it. And the FOOD! So many of our guests came up to us just to comment on how delicious the food was. They have connections to lots of great vendors in the area, too, so they were able to advise us on many other aspects of our wedding.
Also, I have to shout out John and Katelyn for being incredible supports for my partner and me. John's professionalism, and his willingness to answer approximately 1 million questions and field a barrage of random ideas in the months leading up to the wedding, set our minds at ease. And Katelyn's day-of support was incredible. She kept us fed, hydrated, comfortable and at ease during a beautiful whirlwind of a day. And get this: the hem of my dress tore at one point, and she literally whipped out a needle & thread and sewed it on the spot! Talk about going above and beyond.

High-end and Gorgeous!
Tappan Hill provides a super high-end wedding experience! I cannot say enough good things about this venue, but I will list the highlights.
First, they are so incredibly organized. Our coordinator at the venue always answered emails promptly and helped immensely with every tiny detail. For example, we had a catering delivery of cookies to the venue on the wedding day, and all I had to do was send the delivery guy our Tappan Hill coordinator's phone number. She handled everything else seamlessly so all I saw was the final set up at the end of the wedding. I had so much less stress on the wedding day and leading up to the wedding because I was confident that Tappan Hill knew what they were doing to a T.
Second, they will treat you like VIPs. It was clear that we were our coordinator's #1 priority. We also had a bridal attendant who was always there to grab us water, drinks, and make sure we could try every piece of food. She even helped me use the restroom (which is hard in a wedding dress!) and put my hair up toward the end of the night. It sounds like a small thing, but I told her I was sweaty and wanted my hair up and she immediately sprung into action, finding me hair ties and hair spray and doing my hair so well that guests thought it was actually a planned second hair style for the night.
Third, you can't beat their food. Every plate we had was delicious. We got so many compliments from guests saying it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. There are so many fun cake flavors to choose from too!
To sum up, this is an absolutely stunning venue with so many different places to take gorgeous pictures, a super professional and buttoned-up staff that will treat you like royalty, and exceptional food! I am SO happy we had our wedding here and wouldn't have it any other way! Thank you to Vanessa and Julia and the rest of the Tappan Hill team!

We had the perfect wedding!
My husband and I had the most perfect wedding at Tappan Hill this past weekend!
The venue space is immaculate and the food is insanely good (actually shockingly good for wedding food).
From the second we toured the venue with Caitlin Lennox and signed our contract 18 months ago, we knew we were in good hands, but we could have never imagined it would be as perfect as it was.
Tappan Hill made the wedding planning process a breeze- they were able to accommodate every detail we hoped for, and even added things we couldn’t even dream of.
In the weeks leading up to our big day we were paired up with our day-of coordinator, Vanessa Woodbury- who is kind, calm, and the most organized person ever. She runs a tight ship, but put our experience above everything. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and was excellent at communicating with us.
Our special day was flawless, the entire staff was incredible, and we cannot thank Tappan Hill enough for helping us throw one hell of a party!

Amazing Full-Service Venue
Absolutely thrilled with our May wedding in the beautiful Pavilion Room at Tappan Hill. We jumped at the chance to have a spring wedding and the experienced team at Tappan Hill helped us put the wedding together in five months, providing amazing food, wedding cake and everything we needed for the cocktail hour, dinner and reception. In the months leading up, our coordinator Vanessa was organized, responsive and accommodating to requests for special touches and last-minute changes. On the day of, Vanessa and her staff made sure everything ran seamlessly, so we could focus on enjoying the day. So many guest told us was the best food they had ever had at wedding! Would recommend this venue and their professional, caring staff wholeheartedly.

Incredible venue all around!
We had our wedding at Tappan Hill in April and could not be happier with how everything turned out. Everyone we worked with from the sales team to the day of event manager was nothing short of incredible. Our day of event manager was John, who was an absolute delight! We handled my hundreds of questions with grace, was so calm and poised and made sure that all our asks were taken care of. The venue itself is GORGEOUS, we had a fairly rainy wedding day and even with that, our photos looked like we were in a fairy tale and people could not stop raving about the beauty of the mansion. On top of that, the food was absolutely incredible - we got rave reviews from our guests on how amazing the food was at both cocktail hour and dinner. Could not have asked for a better wedding venue!

A perfect, timeless venue
My wife and I were married here in early November and a month later I don't think we can really find the words to describe how incredible the team at Abigail Kirsch was. When we first visited the venue, Caitlin was far and away the best person we worked with on any venue tours. She was incredibly informative and made us feel at ease with questions around such an important decision. Over the course of our ~15 months of planning she was always available to answer questions for us. We were introduced to John, the best possible event coordinator we could've imagined. We worked with John for only about two months prior to the wedding but he helped us accomplish over a years worth of work to perfection in that time frame. The other Caitlin was my wife's bridal attendant and she was beyond spectacular and we felt like we had a close friend by our side throughout the day. The food is so good that you can't even believe you're at a wedding and the amount of compliments we got from our guests about how good the entire staff was can't be stated enough. It was 70 degrees in November on our wedding day and I know you can't control the weather but part of me chooses to believe the entire team at Abigail Kirsch was able to make that possible, too!

Have your wedding at Tappan Hill!
Tappan Hill is the absolute best. The staff has everything down to a science to make your wedding day a dream. From the moment we booked, Caitlin was professional and communicative through the entire process. Vanessa was our event manager and she was incredible. She was calm, focused, and attentive through all the planning and on the day of the wedding. I was also lucky enough to have Marleny as my bridal attendant and she was wonderful! She and Vanessa were soothing and optimistic, and this positive energy spread to our families and guests. The entire staff at Tappan Hill was so accommodating and kind. My husband and I both have Celiac disease, so the chef made an entirely gluten free menu for our wedding! Our guests are still raving about our food and the experience overall. We are thrilled we chose Tappan Hill as our venue. Between the beautiful scenery, food, staff, and ambiance, you are in great hands at Tappan Hill.

Highly Recommend! Amazing venue and staff, beautiful in the Fall
We had our wedding here in October in the Hudson Ballroom and it was amazing!
From the beginning, when we spoke with Caitlin, she was clear in answering our questions, responsive, and was great to work with. Once we got paired with Robert for our day of coordinator, he helped plan the timeline, organize our vendors, and ensured that we were getting everything out of the day that we wanted.
Our guests have been raving about our wedding. They absolutely loved the food - both from cocktail hour and through reception. And thought that the venue was beautiful - it is a great place for a wedding right outside of NYC.
The staff throughout the day were so nice and accommodating - the team at Tappan Hill Mansion truly know what they are doing! We would recommend this place over and over again!

After researching many NYC-area venues, we finally decided on Tappan Hill (in 2019!) and had our COVID-postponed wedding last weekend. The team at Tappan Hill was so helpful in rescheduling and treated us with kindness, attentiveness, and care.
Caitlin was super responsive to my questions about vendors, logistics, and planning. Our event coordinator was Robert, the GM of Tappan Hill, and he went above and beyond to make our day so special. He took multiple calls with us and our vendors the month of the wedding, ensuring that everything was ready to go so we could enjoy the day. It rained an hour before our ceremony, but Robert's team set up an indoor and outdoor ceremony for us so we could make a decision at the last moment (our photographer told us that no other venue does that - most make couples decide the day before or the morning of). The sky cleared and we had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, followed by a reception with 150 guests. The food was incredible, the event flow and timeline (planned by Robert) were perfect, and my bridal attendant Marleny was the most amazing person, bringing us food and drinks, bustling my dress, and making sure we had time to stop and enjoy the important moments. We wouldn't change a thing about our day at Tappan Hill, and we're so grateful to the team for making it happen.

Tappan Hill Mansion was a beautiful venue for our wedding. The team there was very responsive and helped us tailor the event to our preferences. They were great at synchronizing and managing the other vendors. The Abigail Kirsch catering was fantastic. On the day of the wedding, they were extremely helpful and on top of everything. They made our day amazing!

Incredible wedding!
The moment we walked through the doors at Tappan Hill, we knew this was where we were going to get married. If you don’t love the idea of juggling a million vendors, Tappan Hill takes care of so much, from the cake to all the catering, to having a day-of coordinator and a bridal suite and attendant. They’re a food first venue which means your guests will be fed five star catering from the moment the reception begins till they walk out the door. There’s nothing worse than being hungry at a wedding and being disappointed by the food. Definitely not the case here. Everyone we worked with was phenomenal and special thanks to Arianna, our site coordinator! Everyone was competent, calm, organized, and eager to help us bring our vision to life. Not to mention this venue was far more affordable than all of the other options we considered, yet it had easily the best setting, food, and overall value. This place gets booked up quickly so plan ahead! Thanks for hosting the wedding of our dreams.

Perfect Wedding
I have too many good things to say. Caitlin the Sales Manager saw us through 2 postponed covid wedding dates. Tappan Hill's policy's were very fair. When we finally had our dream wedding on June 11th 2022, it was as perfect as we hoped. Abigail Kirsch food was amazing. My husband is a foodie which is how we chose Tappan Hill to begin with. Our cocktail hour food was as perfect as we expected. Reception: The food was all served hot, guests got it at the same time, & it was incredible! Our guests can't stop talking about it.
There isn't much to worry about on your wedding day going smoothy at Tappan Hill with the staff. Arianna, Event Mgr made our night move along perfectly.
My bridal attendant Dawn, was my favorite person present at my wedding (don't tell my husband. lol). She is beyond competent, patient, kind, calm, supportive, always available for me. I would never think of doing a wedding without an attendant.
Tappan Hill Mansion is beyond beautiful in Spring. The grounds & the historic mansion are extraordinary.
We were in "the hudson room" for smaller weddings. We had 85 guests. Very happy with lots of space for a full sized band & dance floor & tables were spacious.
The only possible downside to having a wedding at a historical mansion like Tappan Hill, is that it's not totally handicapped friendly. If you have had a lot of elderly guests who have canes or wheelchairs, you may face some challenges. Tappan hill does have an elevator. However, obviously it does not take guests to the Garden area where my ceremony took place. Please note that my family & my 5 inch heels were fine.

Absolutely wonderful
I cannot speak more highly of the staff. The food and service was remarkable. I cannot believe the staff’s flexibility and responsiveness when it began to rain as they completely transformed the venue to accommodate. The building as so much history, it is 100% worth your big day being a part of it!

Tappan Hill Mansion is a phenomenal wedding venue. The service is impeccable and the food is amazing.
The whole team there is so so professional from the very first interaction with them, to scheduling, venue tour, contract, planning, tasting and the day of. They helped make us feel like we were in the best hands throughout the entire process.
The venue itself is stunningly beautiful, especially on a sunny day with the Hudson views from the pavilion terrace.
Jason, our venue coordinator, is the best - he is flexible, responsive, thorough, friendly, calm and organized. He made sure the day ran to schedule while taking our feedback into account at every stage which we really appreciated. His communication is clear and nothing gets missed when working with Jason.
My bridal assistant, Marleny, was also amazing. She helped make the whole process on the day so easy and seamless from getting ready, photographs, to packing up at the end of the night. She anticipated my needs before I did multiple times during the course of the day.
And the food is incredible - our guests are still raving about how it was the best food they ever had at a wedding.
Tappan Hill is a fabulous venue and you will have a fabulous, unforgettable day if you decide to get married at Tappan Hill.

Fairytale Fall Wedding!!
Our wedding at Tappan Hill was everything we could've dreamed of and more! Jason (our event manager) was extremely easy to work with (and very calming even when we were highly stressed)! Jason ensured that everything ran smoothly, and was very helpful in the planning process! The entire THM staff was very accommodating to us, especially when we needed to postpone our wedding due to Covid-19. They take care of SO MANY details that friends planning weddings had to manage themselves (e.g., rentals, vendor day-of needs, decor setup, etc.), and though it was hard for me to 'let things go' as a Type A bride, Jason assured me throughout the months and weeks leading up that everything was under control, and it was!! Our guests are still talking about the incredible food, and how beautiful our venue was for our fairytale fall wedding. We highly recommend booking your wedding at Tappan Hill!

Felt Like A Dream
We're obsessed with this venue and everything they had to offer us from the moment we walked in. Planning a wedding during a pandemic was a bit stressful but with Tappan Hill they eased us every step of the way and assured us everything would work out fine. Caitlin Lennox was our point person during the year we were planning all the details for our wedding and my god she was so organized! Caitlin answered all of our emails and texts whenever we had any questions making us feel like we were more than just another couple getting married at their venue. She treated us more like her friends and made the whole planning experience so much more pleasurable. No other venue treated us like she did when we toured other venues so it was an easy decision when we decided to get married at Tappan Hill.
The venue itself is super intimate, the natural lighting during cocktail hour/reception is stunning and the ceremony spot is everything!!. Even though our day was a bit grey our pictures came out amazing and still had a beautiful backdrop- Caitlin even got a couple cool gifs during our petal toss.
The food at this place is incredible not only does it tastes good but the presentation is spot on. Everything was delicious and so happy we were able to sneak away to have some time together in the couples suit to try some of our cocktail food which was out of this world. Everything was timed out to a T and Caitlin made sure we had enough time for 4 speeches/dances/eating and sparkler send off without feeling like the night was rushed.
Honestly there is not one thing I would say negative about this place and overall experience besides get married there and pray you get Caitlin Lennox as your go to person. This was honestly one of the best days of our lives and will never forget how amazing Tappan Hill and their staff made us feel

Wedding of my dreams
When we started looking at wedding venues, my husband and I really had no idea where to start. We were located in a different country, and weren’t sure we would even be able to visit the venue before the wedding took place. Luckily we found Tappan Hill, and they had a date that perfectly matched our needs. Caitlin in the sales team was absolutely fantastic talking us through everything in the beginning, and explaining all the details. Since we live in a different country, we sent my parents on tours and included them on all calls, and Caitlin was wonderful about making sure they were always in the loop. She was also great at helping us navigate planning during a pandemic and making sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. When we met Jason who would be our coordinator, his calm demeanor assured us he would have everything under control. He answered all our questions, but where Tappan Hill really blew us away was the actual wedding. The entire day ran so smoothly, it was like a dream. Everyone always says something will go wrong on your wedding day, but Tappan Hill has everything down to a science. They have two separate ballrooms, but don’t worry, you won’t even realize there is another event going on! Everyone was so friendly, and I also can’t speak highly enough of Marleny the bridal attendant! She was incredibly attentive, and even got a box of leftovers from cocktail hour made up for my husband to take home! The food was absolutely incredible, and really exceeded our expectations (which were already high to begin with just from looking at the pictures!). I should also note we pulled heavily from their seasoned vendors list, and were equally impressed with everyone we hired off of it. We absolutely loved our wedding at Tappan Hill, and are already recommending it to all of our engaged friends.

The best venue to ever exist
I don't have enough room to talk about how amazing Caitlin, Marleny, the whole AK team, and Tappan Hill Mansion is - but, I'll give it a shot. My husband and I got married at Tappan Hill in Oct 2021, rescheduled from Oct 2020. From the very first day we toured the venue, to working with us through COVID to reschedule, to the couple months leading up to and the day of our wedding, Caitlin was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is prompt, responsive, helpful, thoughtful, SO GOOD AT HER JOB, and just amazing, period. Marleny was my bridal attendant the day of the wedding and just took care of not just me and my husband, but our families too. She was always there anticipating our next move and I genuinely don't know how she managed to be in so many places at once. I got so many compliments on not only the food (duh), but even the service that the waiters provided! I can't remember ever going to a wedding and complimenting the waiter and multiple people came up to me and told me how amazing theirs was.
Long story short, don't hesitate to hire AK (lucky you if you get Caitlin :)) - they were so understanding during COVID, and they ultimately made our day just perfect through and through. I'm so thankful we chose them to work with!

Stunning venue with amazing food and staff
From moment we started looking at venues over two years ago, Tappan Hill Mansion blew my husband and I away. Even in the dead of winter we could see the potential of how beautiful the location for our outdoor ceremony would be and were impressed by the professionalism of the staff. We especially appreciated how easy and accommodating the Abigail Kirsch staff were in postponing our September 2020 wedding to July 2021 and helping to navigate through the ups and downs of covid restrictions leading up to our big day. The actual wedding completely exceeded our already high expectations. We had guests coming up to us all evening raving about the food, the beauty of the venue (especially the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour space) and the staff. We could not have picked a more perfect venue for our Big Day and a huge shoutout to Andrea (our Day of Coordinator) who executed the event flawlessly!

Fantastic Experience!!
My husband and I had the best experience with Tappan Hill Mansion from beginning to end. The staff was amazing and Eddie (our event manager) for our wedding reception was incredible. Eddie is very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to thinking about everything that needs to be included in a perfect wedding reception.
The venue is gorgeous and the amount and quality of food you get for the package is better than any other venue that my husband and I looked at before picking Tappan Hill. Even though the venue is a large estate, our reception still had an intimate feel which was what my wife and I envisioned. There is so. much. food. but it's top notch quality and has been talked constantly about by our guests for the past week.
We love Tappan Hill and the entire staff and will suggest the venue over and over to anyone getting married or looking to throw an event.

The best wedding venue around!
Our wedding was the most sacred and special day thanks to this venue. Paul, our coordinator, took care of every single detail, and was always available! The space is beautiful- right on the Hudson, with glorious outdoor photo opportunities. The party was epic- guests are still talking about the food and accommodating service. I cannot thank Paul and everyone at Tappan Hill enough for their hard work and responsiveness and for executing flawlessly, leaving us completely calm and able to focus on just enjoying the day.

We are so happy that we decided to have our wedding in the Hudson Room at Tappan Hill. From the very first meeting with Caitlin we knew we were in great hands and we would have the wedding of our dreams. DREAM venue and experience!
I don't even know where to begin in describing the experience my husband and I had at Tappan Hill. Not only is this venue absolutely stunning, but the professionalism of the staff from start to finish was on another level. We knew we were in the best hands from day one when working with Melissa in sales. She is absolutely fantastic, so responsive, accommodating, and kind. We loved working with her as we started the wedding planning process and she made everything so easy for us. We then worked with Paul as our events manager and cannot sing his praises loudly enough! Paul was WONDERFUL! He responded immediately to our nonstop emails and questions, accommodated our every ask and then some, and did it all with a huge smile and wonderful attitude. The last month before our wedding was pretty stressful! And Paul made it FUN! He was so trust-worthy and helped us (me) calm down a bit. And this doesn't even cover the wedding day. Paul truly came through with flying colors. Every tiny detail and step in the day was handled flawlessly. We didn't even have to bat an eye or ask a thing - Paul was 10 steps ahead of us and took care of EVERYTHING! You name it, Paul already had it covered. From being there to pull our chairs out any time we sat down to cleaning up the bridal suite, organizing all of our personal items, bringing us dinner and drinks, to adjusting the temperature of the room, it was the most seamlessly executed evening - and so many people noticed and commented. Thank you Paul! Next: the food. Abigail Kirsch catering did not disappoint. We had a huge amount of guests tell us it was the best wedding food they've ever had. We did station-style vegetarian food, and no one even missed meat - this food was THAT good! They also breezed through accommodating our other dietary restrictions and were beyond helpful. Finally, we invited close to 280 guests to our wedding and ended up with around 215 and never once did we worry about the space feeling too tight. The layout was configured perfectly and Paul knew exactly how to place the larger tables vs smaller tables to keep the flow of the room at its best. Choosing this venue was the best wedding planning decision we could have made and I wish we could do it all over again.

Flawless elegance
Abigail Kirsch at Tappan Hill Mansion deserves a 12 out of 10. We had our wedding there on October 27, 2019 and the entire experience was outstanding. From the start when we toured the venue with Caitlin Lennox, we were entranced by the beauty of the venue and staff’s hospitality. We were blown away with the tour experience. After we booked, it only got better from there. The staff was responsive to all our questions regardless of how often we emailed. Our tasting was an incredible date night for my husband and I. It was so much fun and built our confidence in the food, staff, and overall experience at Tappan Hill. Approximately five weeks prior to our event, Paul Richards was assigned to our event as our wedding coordinator and there are not enough words to express how much we enjoyed working with him. He was kind, reassuring, dedicated, and meticulous in his planning. Plus, his energy is contagious! Paul made it easy to put our wedding in his hands. We were able to enjoy the day and truly have a wonderful stress free experience. We absolutely loved Tappan Hill! There is no comparison. If you have your wedding anywhere else you are a fool.

Let me assure you .. Tappan Hill Mansion is THE place to have your wedding. The staff, the venue, the location, the food .. everything about this place is spot-on perfect. From my first interaction with Caitlin (the NICEST sales manager) to the night-of details with Paul (the MOST organized wedding coordinator), they had our best interest at heart and made our day special beyond words. Our guests continue to compliment us on “the best wedding ever” and so much of that is because of Tappan Hill. They are a well seasoned venue that knows how to do weddings right! Professional and Friendly Staff, Great Food
We can't say enough good things about Tappan Hill. They truly know how to put on a great wedding and take care of a lot of the logistics and small details that less sophisticated venues leave for the couple to handle. Paul, the event manager, worked with us to create a menu and a timeline and he basically handled the rest letting us enjoy the wedding stress free. From the very first time we visited the venue we knew that we would be in good hands there. They anticipate your needs before you even realize it. All they care about is making sure you are taken care of and are having a good time.
Not only is the venue run like a well-oiled machine, but they look good doing it. TH Mansion is a breath-taking space. The ceremony takes place on a beautiful outdoor patio that has that "wow factor" we were looking for, and the cocktail hour and reception rooms are stunning as well. That ceiling with the twinkle lights is so romantic. Even with all that, what really stands out most about Tappan Hill is the food. Everything was absolutely fantastic and all anyone could talk about after the wedding. That's because TH gives all other wedding venues a run for their money by offering elegant, delicious, and creative food. When a standard venue serves bacon-wrapped scallops, TH serves smoked scallop sates with sesame ginger glaze. If we weren't so busy on the dance floor having the time of our lives, we just would have sat at our table all night stuffing our faces. We'd highly recommend!

Stress-Free, Amazing Wedding Experience
I am so impressed by the experience I had with Abigail Kirsh at Tappan Hill Mansion. I'm not one to usually write reviews, but Sara, Caitlin, and especially Paul Richards went above and beyond to make our wedding so memorable and amazing. I'm generally a very anxious person, especially with planning, but honestly I felt no worries with this process because every little detail was taken care of and addressed by the Abigail Kirsh team. Any concerns I had pre-wedding were addressed immediately. During the wedding, any time I needed something it's like Paul knew and just appeared out of nowhere to help. I am seriously blown away with how smoothly everything went. Even at the end of the night, all of our things were carefully packed up ,.ready to go, and waiting for us before we even had a chance to ask. If you're on the fence between Tappan Hill and somewhere else, I wholeheartedly 100% suggest you go with Tappan Hill. You won't regret it, I promise.

Truly such an amazing wedding venue with an even more amazing team! Our wedding could not have gone better. We had the honor of working with Melisa Weiss initially who was fantastic. She was friendly, engaging, approachable & warm. We definitely e-mailed her quite a bit those first few months after booking the venue and she always got back to us right away. She gave excellent advice and answered our questions promptly and genuinely. She was wonderful. We then had the pleasure of working with Paul Richards as our day of coordinator and he was fantastic. He truly made the wedding day perfect. We felt no stress on the actual day and we know he is to thank for that. He anticipated our every need before we had to ask and was warm and kind to us and our loved ones. I swear he anticipated me sitting down and had my chair pushed out to accommodate my rather big ball gown every time I went back to my table! He was marvelous and the staff was amazing. They were friendly and super efficient. The food was outstanding and to this day our friends and family can't stop talking about how it was the best wedding they've been to. What a fantastic memory. Everything was perfect!
We are absolutely thrilled that we chose Tappan Hill Mansion for our wedding venue! From the very first moment we walked into the gorgeous rotunda we felt it was a magical place. We had our ceremony on-site in the Hudson Chapel (the beautiful garden outside) and our reception in the Hudson Ballroom, which is the smaller of their two rooms as we had under 100 guests. Our event manager, Paul, was an absolute joy to work with and eased every worry I had during the planning process. We felt at ease knowing that he was 100% on top of everything. The event itself was beyond beautiful and amazing. Everything went smoothly and not one single thing went wrong (that we know of!) Paul and his team made sure we were taken care of all night (and also made sure we got to eat, which I hear doesn't always happen at weddings). We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day, and a huge part of that is thanks to Paul and Tappan Hill!

Great Experience!
The food is exceptional, the venue is beautiful, and the service was perfect. The planning process was great too - my wife and I had no trouble adding the personal touches and custom details we wanted, and our Event Coordinator, Eddie Z, was extremely helpful in guiding us the whole way and making everything run smoothly. We knew they'd be good, and they still exceeded expectations.

Tappan Hill is amazing! Recommend Recommend Recommend!
We just had our wedding at Tappan Hill Mansion earlier this month. It was everything we wanted and more. People who were picky eaters were complimenting the food and venue! Amazing.. really! Paul was our day of coordinator, Jessie was the bridal valet and Caitlin helped with all the business end work ahead of the special day. Everyone was amazing. Paul held our hand the weeks leading up to the event and was available via email literally all the time. He followed up and contacted all our vendors so that we didn't have to do anything. He encouraged us to just enjoy our day and he did all the magic in the background. We were running late on speeches and I had a small holy crap moment when I realized our timeline was off by an hour but he had already talked to the band, photographers and videographers and told them to go take an early dinner so we could take our time greeting guests etc and switched the timeline seamlessly so that no guest even noticed. Honestly, food was amazing, Paul was amazing, venue was beautiful.. couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!

Cannot say enough wonderful things!
We really struggled to find a wedding venue, and after looking at about 20 places, someone recommended Tappan Hill. From the moment we drove up the beautiful stone mansion, I was totally in love. The mansion has so much character and beauty: the stained glass windows in the front, the stone walls, the fireplaces, the gorgeous rotunda you enter into, the views of the water. In addition to the aesthetics, anyone familiar with catering knows the name Abigail Kirsch, and with good reason. The food options are as beautiful and inventive on the plate as they are delicious. Ed was our event manager and we truly cannot say enough good things about him. From the moment we met with him, we knew that our affair would run smoothly. There is not one detail that Ed doesn't think of. He always answered emails quickly and efficiently, and never once made us feel annoying with our seemingly endless amounts of questions. He alleviated any and all stress, kept everything running on time, connected and coordinated with all of our vendors, and so much more! The fact that our wedding ran so beautifully and smoothly is without a doubt because of him and the amazing service from Abigail Kirsch under his leadership.

BEST Wedding Venue!
This was absolutely the most perfect venue for our wedding! As soon as I walked in for my initial meeting, I knew this would be the place. Right from the start, everyone I interacted with was professional and accommodating to our every request. Our event manager, Ed, was superb! He really made everything run smoothly and it was such a pleasure to work with him throughout the entire planning process. Tappan Hill Mansion is fabulous in every way--the service, the food, the staff, everything! It was absolutely the best!

First impressions
I could not have asked for a better first venue visit experience than with Melissa at Tappan Hill. Completely not knowing what to expect she provided me with a lot of information and lowered my angst. Although we did not end up going with Tappan Hill I kno if we had we would not have been disappointed. They really try to make you fee comfortable :)

Perfection in a Wedding Venue!
We had our wedding at Tappan Hill in December of 2018. It was magical from start to finish. Tappan Hill was the perfect venue for us.
The food and the service was epic. We booked it 10 months out, and all email and phone correspondence was quick, professional, and helpful. They made us feel like we extremely special and not just another couple getting married. And the food lives up to it's reputation. It was delicious. And my husband and his family are vegetarians, and they all loved it too.
Our event manager was Ed Steinberg, who we couldn't possibly say enough positive things about. He put us so at ease. He was attentive to our every request. He is personable, charming, and professional. All of the vendors loved him as well! He was honestly just the best. Couldn't have asked any more from him.
Overall Tappan Hill is a superb venue. We have no complaints. Hopefully one of our friends books it too so we can go back as guests!

We just had our wedding at Tappan Hill Mansion (Abigail Kirsch caterer) on September 1, 2018 and we were extremely THRILLED and SATISFIED with our experience throughout the entire wedding planning process! When we first went to look at venues, we went to see a lot of places around Westchester and the Hudson Valley. Tappan Hill Mansion hit all the right marks and the Tarrytown location was perfect. I communicated with Caitlin and Sara in the beginning for some questions and they always responded in a timely manner and were extremely helpful. Our day-of-wedding coordinator/event manager, Ed Steinberg, was extremely professional and offered advice to a lot of our questions around the clock and responded very timely via phone and email in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Ed made sure everything was on time the day of the wedding, and he was not afraid to speak up if needed! He made sure we were happy throughout the entire wedding, which we were! Our guests absolutely LOVED all the food and the service was impeccable! I heard from many guests that the servers helped them out if needed, and checked in if someone needed physical assistance or a special kid's meal. Regarding the space at Tappan Hill, we had a 100 person wedding in the Hudson room spaces. Our ceremony was outdoors in the Hudson gardens, the cocktail hour on the upper floor suite overlooking the Hudson River, and the reception indoors in the Hudson room. We were initially a little nervous that the smaller spaces weren't as dramatic as the Pavilion room spaces (as the Pavilion space required larger minimum # of people)....however, our photos all came out incredible! And our 10 piece band fit in the Hudson Room with no problem and we had 11 tables! We had guests raving for days on end, about what an amazing wedding we had at Tappan Hill!

We feel so lucky to have celebrated our wedding at Tappan Hill! Both the inside and outside are extraordinarily beautiful (incredible view of the Hudson, stunning landscape, elegant, yet not too opulent or fancy). Right from the start, they made us feel like we did not need to worry about a thing. We actually had a kosher wedding and did not use Abigail Kirsch, but Tappan Hill was so accommodating and gracious about working with us and our caterer to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We cannot say enough about Paul, our day-of coordinator assigned by Tappan Hill; he made sure everything ran smoothly, built in buffer time on the day of to allow for any mishaps, stayed optimistic about the weather even as a massive rainstorm rolled in (sure enough, the storm passed and we were able to have our ceremony outside!), was unbelievably communicative and responsive before, during, and after the wedding, and really allowed us and our families to relax and enjoy the whole day. The bridal attendants were also fantastic--you know how they say you never get to eat at your own wedding? Thanks to the bridal attendants, we were extremely well-fed and well-hydrated! Thank you, Tappan Hill, for making an already amazing day just absolutely perfect!

We had both our ceremony and reception at Tappan Hill this past May and could not have asked for a better experience. After looking at multiple venues in the New York and New Jersey area, Tappan Hill was an obvious choice. We were drawn to Tappan Hill because of the picturesque venue, the support of the staff and the promise of delicious food. And everything was better than we could have imagined. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception space are all absolutely beautiful. The entire day was run perfectly thanks to Paul, who was our righthand man through the thick of wedding planning craziness. The menu options were creative and the food was absolutely phenomenal (many of our guests told us so!) . We can't recommend Tappan Hill highly enough!

We got married this May at the Pavilion room at Tappan Hill and had a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The whole wedding was amazing and everything went perfectly thanks to Ed. It was so clear that Ed has a passion for weddings and he was so helpful every step of the way. He helped me with no hesitation with everything I asked for (including setting up decorations and the place card table and putting individual menus and gifts at each table setting). Ed also provided great advice to help us as we were thinking through the menu and the wedding logistics. We had gorgeous weather that day but Ed thought of everything. He made sure to set up both an outdoor and indoor ceremony in the off chance that there would be rain. From the initial planning stage, he was extremely detailed and helpful. He thought about every possible thing that could go wrong and had a plan on how to prevent it. He also was great at helping you get the most value for the wedding. We had set up a special gin and tonic bar and he let us bring extra gins to supplement the open bar without any corkage fees. A few days before the wedding, he called me to let me know that the wedding after mine would be installing lights in the ceiling and that the florists could do it for free for my wedding. I had already paid for the lights but was able to call my florists and get a refund for my order. Because of Ed, I was able to save several hundred dollars. At the end of the wedding, ed offered to drive a few of my guests who were left behind to their hotel which was extremely kind of him. The venue itself is spectacular and really beautiful. The food was amazing and was restaurant quality. All my guests raved about the food and the service and said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. My only regret is forgetting to ask Ed to box up my food as I didn’t have much time to eat. You will absolutely have the most exceptional experience here. We looked for what felt like forever for the perfect spot that didn't feel "marriage factory" or "cookie cutter", we wanted something that really felt special. The venue is absolutely breathtaking with sweeping views of the Hudson river valley, the food is dream worthy (Abigail Kirsch catering!), but beyond all that, the staff and the overall experience of planning our wedding was so warm, friendly, flexible, and stress free. We could not have executed a more perfect day or a day that was so uniquely us without the help of the staff, and especially our day of coordinator, at Tappan Hill. When the day came, we did not have to worry or thing about anything but getting married and celebrating with family, everything was handled so we could truly enjoy ourselves. The entire planning process with Tappan Hill was so easy; no question of ours was stupid or too big to ask, and every detail was went over with a fine tooth comb to ensure we had everything perfect. If you want a classy, intimate and personal, but rave worthy wedding you can not go wrong here. We can not recommend this place enough, and please consider inviting us to your wedding at Tappan Hill cause we can wait to go back! ;-)

I truly cannot express what an incredible venue Tappan Hill is! The beauty of the location, the professionalism of the staff, and the quality of the food is unsurpassed.
From the moment my husband and I set foot in Tappan Hill, we knew it was the venue of our dreams. We fell in love with the history (it was Mark Twain's former estate) and the beautiful location along the Hudson. It was also an easy 45 minute drive from downtown Manhattan, where our ceremony was held. While we had never been to a wedding at an Abigail Kirsch location, we had heard from many of our friends that the food was the best they'd ever had at a wedding. All these things put together meant that booking our wedding at Tappan Hill was a no brainer- and it was the best decision we could have made!
Ed Steinberg was our event coordinator and he was truly outstanding. Working with him was a real pleasure- he was so thorough, professional, and thoughtful in his recommendations to create the perfect menu and timeline. The day of the wedding, Ed worked quietly behind the scenes to make sure that everything ran absolutely perfectly. He was able to triage everything so that my husband and I were able to enjoy every single moment of our reception- I didn't feel even for a second that I had anything to worry about, Ed had everything 100% under control. That feeling was the greatest gift we could have asked for. On top of that, everyone was right about the food-- it was INCREDIBLE! A month after our wedding our guests are still raving about the food, the quality of the servers, and the beauty of the venue. We fell in love with the beautiful Pavilion Room at Tappan Hill Mansion after looking at a number of different venues throughout Westchester and northern New Jersey. Working with Tappan Hill, Paul, and the rest of the staff made the entire process of wedding planning a breeze. As type-A people we were already relatively organized so all we had to do was pass along our desires which were flawlessly executed. The food was exceptional, people are still telling us a month later how wonderful our wedding was! What a perfect day!

"Magical" best describes the experience of our daughter's wedding at Tappan Hill. And Ed Steinberg was our magician. The wedding was flawless due to Ed's professional approach, attention to detail, his kind and generous disposition. Tappan Hill Mansion is truly the perfect wedding venue. From the ceremony space, reception space, food to the staff, everything was perfect. Our main goal with our wedding was to provide a wonderful experience for our guests - and that's why we picked Tappan Hill! The venue is easy to get to from Westchester and NY (close to the Metro North and Sheraton / Marriott hotels nearby). There is tons of parking, including valet, and you can have the ceremony and reception in the same place! From the moment guests arrive, they can feel at home.
The Tappan Hill staff was always incredibly responsive, and our event coordinator, Ed, was a true professional. He is a wedding expert, and asked all of the right questions ahead of time, so everything ran incredibly smoothly. He spoke with all of our vendors individually, prior to the event, and coordinated everything perfectly.
The outdoor ceremony space is gorgeous, and all of the food was delicious. We picked from a PowerPoint list of all food options (unfortunately no tasting!) The cocktail hour provided lots of delicious finger food and drink. At the reception, each table gets its own waiter, and the staff is very accommodating with allergies and dietary restrictions.
Everything ran smoothly with the event setup (thanks to Ed and the staff, we didn't have to think about anything!) and the event was seamless as well. Most importantly, all of our guests had a fabulous time! Many said it was the best wedding they ever attended!

We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding. The level of professionalism and organization from the entire staff is outstanding and allows you to really just enjoy your wedding day. We were lucky enough to have Ed Steinberg as our coordinator and we could not be more thankful. Ed is just incredible. He is organized and meticulous down to every minor detail. He is steps ahead in his planning and thinking and makes the day run so smoothly. He is also such a calming to presence to have on an understandably stressful day. Ed was truly such a huge part in making our wedding the best day of our lives. He even played the drums with the band!!! The rest of the Tappan Hill staff are also amazing and attentive, they were on top of anything and everything we could have possibly needed. In addition to the stunning setting, inside and out, the food is absolutely incredible and the variety of options to choose from is endless. We still have family members calling to talk about how amazing the food was. Our wedding was everything we hoped for and more and we owe so much of that to Ed and the incredible staff at Tappan Hill! We chose this venue because of its beauty and the fact that the caterer was Abigail Kirsch. With the Hudson River as a backdrop, the beautiful Mansion and grounds made it the perfect setting for our daughter's wedding. From the moment we signed to contract, to the wedding day, we found that everyone involved was extremely knowledgable, helpful, friendly, efficient and a pleasure to work with. Ed Steinberg was our wedding day organizer. He introduced himself to us 2 months before the wedding and we knew right away that we were in great hands. He left no stone uncovered. He helped make the day of the wedding stress free and perfect! Tappan Hill is an extraordinary venue. The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. We truly had a perfect wedding!

The staff at Tappan Hill went to great lengths to make our wedding day picture perfect! The day was absolutely flawless. It was truly the best day of our lives, and we have such exceptional memories to cherish for years to come. There is no justice a simple review could give for how amazing Tappan Hill is. From our first meeting to picking up things left behind the next day - everything was perfect. We worked with Ed as our Maître D', who was quick to respond and full of suggestions. Even through a stressful weather scenario, Ed put my family and me at ease and helped us make decisions. We asked Ed to make sure we ate something and he did, we did not want to miss out on the amazing food! You will be in good hands with Tappan Hill and you will not have anything to worry about on your big day except enjoying yourself.

Everything about Tappen Hill was amazing! The venue, the views, THE STAFF, and THE FOOD!! Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food from cocktail hour through dessert and of course the entrees!! Paul at Tappen Hill was great to work with and recommendations were greatly appreciated. During our early consultations he never once pushed an item from the menu on us or make recommendations that were beyond our agreed upon budget. On the day of our ceremony and reception, Paul's staff made everyone feel welcomed. Paul himself went above and beyond to help us keep the day moving slowly to ensure there was plenty of time to eat, drink, and dance the night away. Our August 2015 wedding was held at the Tappan Hill Mansion and was absolutely wonderful. We had read some great reviews on the venue and many recommended that we secure Ed as our event manager. We were fortunate to have done so - Ed was fabulous. We met with Ed a few times prior to the event and each time he had us feeling better and better about everything. The food was incredible - both the cocktail party and the dinner. Our wedding was flawless and we owe most of that to Ed. We highly recommend Tappan Hill Mansion as a wedding venue and strongly encourage you to request Ed as your event manager.

The best of the best in Westchester. The level of service was spectacular. A breathtaking view, that allowed for a romantic ceremony. Ed was wedding planner and made sure everything was done exactly to plan, as well as, providing advice where needed. Ed and his staff were a pleasure to work with and paid attention to detail on the night of. The food was delicious – that our guests are still raving about! Magical! Tappan Hill and their staff were amazing! Everything ran smoothly and they were extremely accommodating. The food was exquisite. The venue was gorgeous and my wedding was beautiful despite the weather being crummy. I had a fabulous experience at this venue!

Our wedding at Tappan Hill was even more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. In addition to the gorgeous venue and the incredible food, the staff is exceptional, especially Ed, our wedding event manager. He was incredibly responsive to any question or request throughout the process, unbelievably organized, and his attention to detail was amazing. From finding thread to sew on a button that fell off my dad's tuxedo shortly before the ceremony, to coordinating with the florist and seamlessly moving our ceremony indoors when it started raining a half hour before the ceremony, everything went off without a hitch! I did not need to worry about anything the day of the wedding because Ed had accounted for, thought of and handled anything I could possibly think of. Ed and the staff at Tappan Hill truly made our wedding perfect!!!

Our wedding was everything we'd dreamed of and more. Ed Steinberg's professionalism and kindness helped make the day perfect. Tappan Hill is beyond gorgeous and the photos of our ceremony with the sun setting in the background are absolutely beautiful. We were too busy dancing to eat, but all our guests said the food was amazing!

Tappan Hill was a perfect location for our wedding. Ed Steinberg was a GREAT event planner—efficient, responsive, directive—he made us feel at ease yet comfortable. The venue was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the accommodations were great. Seriously, the food was amazing. I can't emphasize this enough. We all know wedding food isn't really all the special, but their caterer, Abigail Kirsch, serves top quality food.

We just got married at Tappan Hill memorial day weekend and can NOT speak highly enough about the venue, food, staff, atmosphere EVERYTHING! It was truly the best night of our lives and what many have since called the best wedding they've ever been to. I worked with Ed throughout the entire planning process and because of his manner, responsiveness and attention to detail- I was a stress free and worry free bride. My husband and I got married at Tappan Hill on April 25, and were so happy with our experience. We have received so many compliments on the venue, the food, the view, and the service. The success of the day was due in large part to our event manager, Paul Richards. From our very first meeting with him, he put us so at ease, and was genuinely enthusiastic about our wedding! He helped us choose our menu, prepared (in conjunction with us) a detailed timeline for the day, let us drop anything we wanted off at the venue before the event, coordinated with our vendors, and made us EVEN MORE excited about the wedding day! On the day of the wedding, he made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. While I can't put into words everything that he did for us, one story stands out. My husband gave a speech to thank everyone for coming, and right before he was supposed to go on, he got extremely anxious, because he couldn't figure out where he put the piece of paper on which he wrote the speech. Paul saw the panic on his face and asked if he was looking for his speech, and when Chris said yes, he told him he had seen Chris take it out of his pocket and haphazardly put it down, so he picked it up and placed it onto our table, because he knew Chris would need it later. This is just one example, but he anticipated everything we might need, and we were so happy that he worked with us to make the day so special.

I first seen a picture of the Rotunda (entrance room) on Pinterest when I searched for Westchester wedding venues & I juts fell in love immediately! I had to find out where it was & request a viewing appointment. Myself & Gareth just loved it! We booked it immediately & Abigail Kirsch were so professional & nice from the word go.
We met Ed Steinberg the event manager about 8 weeks before the wedding to plan the menus & order of service and he was just outstanding! Everything was perfectly thought out on the day. People are still talking about the food 2 weeks later. It was just amazing. Thank You Abigail Kirsch for helping us make life long memories.

Absolutely the best vendor and location with a stunning sunset for a fall wedding. From our first encounter with Leigh through our big day with Ed Steinberg by our side, everything was above and beyond expectations. The service, professionalism, food & beverages, and wait staff were truly the best we have ever experienced. It has been a little over a week since our wedding, the phone calls with endless praise of the Tappan Hill are still coming in. What an unbelievable place!!! Absolutely had the wedding of my dreams.

We loved working with Abigail Kirsch at the New York Botanical Garden. Paul our event coordinator went above and beyond to make sure our day went off perfectly. Even through a last minute thunderstorm, Paul managed everything beautifully.
The food was spectacular. We had many foodies as guests and everyone raved about both the cocktail hour and the dinner.

It is hard to even know where to start! We could not be more thrilled to have had our wedding at Tappan Hill Mansion. It was an absolutely wonderful experience, from the planning process, to the day of, to the memories we now have there. Our coordinator Ed was wonderful to work with, and extremely organized. He was always available to answer any questions we had, yet usually answered them before we could even ask! We felt very confident and comfortable going into the day, knowing we would not need to worry about anything since we were so well taken care of. The space is stunning, and we were lucky to have a gorgeous outdoor ceremony overlooking the river, and then watched the sunset throughout the reception. Tappan Hill is a very special and beautiful venue, and of course food and service are on a whole other level! We cannot recommend Tappan Hill Mansion any more, and we are hoping that one day we get invited back there as a guest!

I just had my wedding here yesterday, and it was the happiest day of my life. A completely magical experience thanks to the staff at Abigail Kirsch and their coordinator, Gabe, who I am incredibly thankful to for his sunny outlook and total competence. If you get married here and end up working with Gabe, thank your lucky stars because he is FANTASTIC. I was probably the calmest bride ever because I knew I was in his capable hands. And the happiest bride ever because Tappan Hill is amazing in every way.
The grounds are gorgeous, with a view overlooking the Hudson River, lots of green, flowers, a sweeping balcony inside the house, and tons of windows. And the food was copious, so much that my guests joked they had food coma and couldn't leave the wedding because they were so stuffed.
Our cake was especially delicious, but I thought all of the food was delicious. Top notch in every way, and a fantastic alternative to a venue in Manhattan itself while not being too far away.

I don't know what else to say but WOW! We could not be happier with our choice of wedding venue! We did not have our ceremony at Tappan Hill, only reception, but our experience was perfect. People are still talking about how amazing our wedding was (top 3 even) and how the food and atmosphere were just incredible. We chose Tappan Hill particularly for the food (AMAZING! "Best food I've ever had at a wedding.") and we ended up getting so much more. The whole team at Tappan Hill are so friendly and are willing to take care of your every need. We had an "incident" during the reception and our Maitre d' took care of the whole thing without us knowing (I didn't find out until the next day). We highly recommend using the Tappan Hill Mansion for your wedding!!

We recently used Abigail Kirsch for our wedding in Brooklyn (Steiner Studios) and it was AMAZING. We got great reviews from our guests!! Besides the AMAZING food and presentation ERIC Hoffman was FANTASTIC, he really made our experience easy and as stress free as possible, additionally he made the evening run smooth. His energy and attitude really stands out, he took care of EVERYTHING. Abigail Kirsch is lucky to have such a wonderful employee. if you're planning your big day and Abigail Kirsch is doing the event, you will have no worries, and there really isn't a need for the food tasting...they deliver quality and you'll be 100% satisfied.

I CANNOT speak highly enough of Tappan Hill as a venue and, specifically, of our day-of planner, Ed Steinberg. Tappan Hill is stunningly beautiful and the food is delicious (a few of our guests are professional chefs and even they were raving about the food), but what really sets Tappan Hill apart is its staff. Ed is so organized and on top of EVERYTHING - from setting up for the ceremony both inside and outside because it looked like rain, fielding a million questions via email in the weeks leading up to the ceremony, and even agreeing to meet with us on Father's Day because my fiance's family was coming from out of town and I was going to be swamped later in the summer studying for the bar exam. As a VERY picky person (some people would probably say I'm picky to a fault), I expected to leave and be like "oh, well, this minor thing went wrong, but that's fine because everything was wonderful overall," but there is not a single thing that I think of that did not meet or exceed my expectations. Ed is wonderful, everyone who works at Tappan Hill is wonderful, and I'm just trying to figure out another occasion that would justify such a lavish party because I NEED to attend another wedding at Tappan Hill. I cannot recommend Tappan Hill highly enough - they made our wedding day beyond absolutely perfect.

Tappan Hill Mansion is absolutely beautiful! Our wedding was outside overlooking the Hudson River, cocktails in the Pavilion Promenade and reception in Pavilion Ballroom. Our event manager Ed Steinberg was awesome. He was so easy to work with, and was very helpful in the planning stages. The food was also delicious, as you'd expect an Abigail Kirsch location to be.
The staff at Tappan Hill truly took care of everything, and were wonderful. Everyone kept asking who our wedding planner was, we didn't have one, it was just us and the awesome team at THM.
I'd recommend Tappan Hill to any bride or groom looking in the NYC/ Westchester area

My wedding at the New York Botanical Garden was the most beautiful and perfect wedding I ever could have imagined. The staff at Abigail Kirsch exemplified such responsiveness and professionalism. The service provided by the sales manager, Jayme Silver and the wedding planner, Paul Richards was outstanding. From the moment we decided to have the wedding, both Jayme and Paul could not have been more accommodating or more attentive to detail.
I had high expectations for my wedding and Jayme reassured me that everything would turn out exactly as I wanted, while Paul made sure to put all of my ideas and thoughts into action.
Paul went above and beyond what is expected of any good wedding planner. He was on top of everything and made it his mission to ensure that I had the wedding of my dreams. There is nothing I would change about any of my wedding experience.

Tappan hill was an incredible venue for our wedding. Not only did we have an awesome, attentive and helpful sale associate Leigh, but our planner Gabe truly was amazing and made our day wonderful and special. He absolutely went the extra mile after hurricane sandy hit and our wedding day was only 3 days away. He helped us to change our ceremony last minute to on site (since the church we originally planned for had no heat or power). Gabe had a wonderful calm and layer back personality, making any bride feel at ease. Last but certainly not least, tappan hill had amazing food, scenery and staff that was fantastic. We couldn't be happier

Service was so nice, and everyone working there did an excellent job to make the day wonderful. I would recommend it to anyone, and hope to go back for dinner or someone else's wedding one day! If you ate looking for a storybook perfect wedding then have your event at tappin hill. Their staff is beyond professional. They are so in top of every detail needed for the night to go off without a hitch. Even when it was supposed to rain this past weekend for my wedding might, they had a rain plan and reassured me everything would be ok. The rain went away and we were able to have the wedding ceremony outside. It was picturesque and beatituful. We did our first look on the staircase and it was perfect. The food is our of this world. The appetizer that we chose was the three taco combo which everyone loved. Abigail kirsch is toP notch and the food says it all. Everyone left our wedding saying that it was the spectacular wedding they had ever been to. I was floored by the cplimenys and had to write a great review since it is so well deserved. Ed Strindberg is fantastic as the day of planner. My favorite item that we had was the breakfast trio dessert. This was so sensational and creative. They really are so professional with their delivery Of service and food. I felt like a princess all day. Thank you to everyone at tappan for making our day so special.

After our first meeting with Greg Paraventi, we were hooked on Pier 60, but felt we should still look at other venues to compare. But to no surprise, we went back to Greg to book our wedding. It was very apparent to us that Greg truly believed in the quality and product of Abigail Kirsch catering and the Chelsea Piers space.
Bob, our event manager, was so accommodating- both my husband and I have tough work schedules, but he made himself available for evening/weekend meetings and answered e-mails very quickly. He was soo helpful during our meetings and suggested menu options that were appropriate for the season and variety of food for guests. He even scheduled a seperate to meeting with our DJ and uplighting vendor.
Upon arrival to Pier 60- we were greeted by Bob at the front and escorted to the bridal/groom suites upstairs. His timing and attention to detail was impressive. He made sure a server came upstairs so that we could get a taste of the hors d'oeuvre before greeting all our guests at cocktail hour. From the moment we stepped foot into the space, it was obvious that Bob had his team ready to take on our 315-person wedding and without a misstep. Every time we needed something, Bob was there and I don't think the schedule of events would have run as smoothly as they did without him and his collaboration with our MC. But his job did not end at the reception- we held an after party in the cocktail hour space- Bob was integral in execution of a smooth transition and help with the suggested set-up of the space. The party was a HUG success! All our friends and family continue to rave about the quality of the food- it was something you have at high end restaurant. And the service was on point- glasses were refilled, napkins were folded the moment we left the table-- the attention to detail was noticed by all. To Bob and the Abigail Kirsch team- thank you for making our wedding the best ever!

My wedding this past Saturday was absolute perfection at Tappan Hill Mansion. The sales manager, Linda Bennett, at the start of this process was wonderful. She fielded all of my questions and concerns prior to the event. The event manager, Kathy Policastro, was so incredible. Everything ran smoothly from the food, to organizing the bridal party, organizing the vendors, and executing the entire day. It is unbelievable how detail oriented she is (Kathy remembered everyone's name in the bridal party). She even had someone sew my sister- in- law's dress when the zipper broke. I was so worried about the weather that day (which was supposed to be 100 degrees!), Kathy reassured me that we would have the wedding outside. Actually the weather cooperated. I will never forget that moment when I first saw my husband (I still cry thinking about it). It was spectacular.
Everyone has been raving about the food, drink, and the wonderful service. Thank you Kathy, Linda, and all the staff at Abigail Kirsch at Tappan Hill Mansion for making my wedding a dream come true.

I had my wedding reception at Abigail Kirsch's Tappan Hill Mansion and am beyond words at how amazing my wedding was. From the initial planning with the sales manager Leigh to working with my event manager Kathy everything was an absolute breeze. Kathy is the kindest, most detail oriented, organized woman ever! My mom is pretty hard to please and she walked away from my wedding in awe at how flawless everything was...My husbands father is the same way and said the wedding was perfect. The food, scenery, service, everything at Tappan Hill is worth every cent you spend. Each guest could not stop talking about every little detail from the creative food choices to not having to every ask for a thing-the waitstaff was there for every need...I only wish I could marry there every year! You will have not one regret going with Abigail Kirsh.

Tappan ill Mansion was absolutely PERFECT! Not one thing went wrong on my wedding day! Kathy Policastro was my event manager adn took care of everything! She knew what to expect and prepare and had everything flowing perfectly! The Food was AMAZING! AMAZING! All my guests said the food was AMAZING! From the pre-ceremony champagne to the cocktail hour to the dinner.....Everything came out and looked like it came from a Bon Apitite Magazine! THe VENUE itself is breathtaking! My pictures are gorgeous and it looks like a fairytale. I had my own bridal suite to prepare in and rest. THey worked nonstop for me and took care of everything I could have ever imagined! INCREDIBLE!

We were not disappointed with the party that Tappan Hill put together for us. The food was beyond compare and our autumn ceremony overlooking the river, complete with foliage, was breathtaking! Almost a year married and people are still talking about it!

We had our wedding in August 2011 at Tappan Hill in Tarrytown. Tappan Hill is a very beautiful place, different than the hotels and normal catering halls that weddings are usually held at. Kathy, our event planner, was fantastic. She really helped us out with our dining choices from the cocktail all the way through to the cake. She also did a great job with all of our families dietary needs due to allergies and such. The entire staff did a great job of paying attention to all our guests and their specific needs. We had a waitor per table and not just for our bride & groom table, every table was assigned a waitor and others to help out. We didn't have to worry about anything, they took care of everything and made sure we were having a good time. The food was spectacular. I was a little worried because we are both Italians and the quality, taste and quantity of food is very important, but we were very happy, there was plenty to go around. The cocktail stations were always full. The dinner dishes were gigantic and full of really good food. We had the Filet Mignon and the Salmon. Both were very delicious. We also had quite a few kids at our wedding and they were very well taken care of. They especially liked the ice cream sunday's at the end of the evening. The wedding was fantastic, the food was great, the place was georgeous. Everything went perfectly, what else could you ask for. I would highly recommend Tappan Hill, our wedding was sophisticated and fun. They definitely know what they are doing.
