Tamara Wendt Events is the best!

Tamara, and her team really made our day very special. Everything was perfect, elegant, professional, and most importantly so pretty! Tamara and her team took care of chairs, tables, center pieces, flowers, and tents for our outdoor event and also helped with the rehearsal dinner! So fun to work with, great people and attention to detail!

We LOVED working with Tamara Wendt Events! They literally made my dreams come true, it was worth every single penny! She asked me what my dream wedding would be like and I said “like we are celebrating on an island in Greece” and she truly pulled off that vision. So many people told us they felt like they were there. I was blown away by all of the details and how everything came together. Everything was seamless, so organized, we were on time all day, all vendors were in place and where they were supposed to be. We also opted to have the wonderful Abbey assist us through the actual day and she was amazing! It felt like I had a friend I’ve known for years there with me.

I also felt like they were super flexible throughout the entire process. We called and changed things around quite a bit and it was never an issue. They thought of everything! and when starting this process our families were intimidated because no one had planned a wedding for years, I work full time and travel a lot so I was overwhelmed. They made sure everything was taken care of, and it was a stress free process for us!

I would HIGHLY recommend Tamara Wendt Events, we had the perfect day and we wouldn’t have had it without them! I would not change anything!

I am a procrastinator by nature and these ladies kept me moving! They provided guidance along with kindness that was very much appreciated. The day of the event they made sure everything went off without a hitch, if there were hitches I never knew it! Would recommend this team to anyone contemplating ANY type of event. They are flawless in execution and amazing to work with!!

I simply can’t image my wedding weekend with Tamara Wendt and her wonderful team! My husband and I live 3 hours away from the quad cities so one can image how nervous we were planning an out-of-town wedding but Tamara and Katie made it so feel so natural and effortless. Their attention to detail was outstanding and made the event extra special to myself, my husband, and all the guests. I would highly recommend TWE services as nothing can compare!

Katie and Tamara were amazing to work with. We went in with our ideas and they made our every dream come true. We were completely in love with our day and the design they created for us. Our reception was so beautiful and people are still talking about it months later.

My husband and I highly recommend Tamara Wendt Events. Tamara Wendt Designs is hands down THE best. They are a fun, energetic, passionate team. The team worked flawlessly with my mother and I to create a fairytale, picture perfect wedding. Everything was beautiful. It was more than I could have ever expected. I really felt like a princess on my wedding day. The whole process was stress free and Tamara and Kara took care of everything. I didn't have to worry about a thing. If I were to do it again, i would definitely hire them in a heart beat.

We couldn't have asked for anything better. My daughter's wedding and reception was the fairytale wedding she has always dreamed of. When I walked into the reception it brought me to tears.....and oh such nice tears. Tamara Wendt, Kara and staff very quickly determined what my daughter's vision was. They always communicated timely and changes were made almost immediately. All guests were completely blown away when they walked into the reception venue. Cameras were clicking. And it was achieved stress free for us.

Tamara and her staff worked with me as I commuted from Madison to the Quad Cities. They were always easy to get a hold, of, patient, and very helpful. After the wedding, dozens of people told me it had the most beautiful decor they had seen at a wedding. From my perspective, however, it is the behind the scenes work that Tamara and her crew do that is truly outstanding. She kept in touch with all the vendors and was there to keep the day on track, making it stress free for me!

Tamara Wendt Designs made our vision come to life. We had our wedding at a venue that doesn't host weddings and we needed someone with a lot of experience to make it run smoothly from beginning to end and she did just that. They were there for us throughout the planning process and on the day of we didn't have a thing to worry about. She is worth every penny and we would recommended her to everyone! Easy to work with and does fantastic work, we couldn't be happier!

Tamara Wendt is amazing! She was the best decision I made for our wedding. I live in Florida and got married at the Hotel Blackhawk in Davenport. She took the stress of planning and I couldn't have done it without her and her team. From our first consultation to our meetings, I knew I would be in good hands. She handled everything from our linens, flowers, centerpieces, chairs and décor etc. She also made a timeline and sent it out to all of our vendors so everyone was on the same page. She also provided us a list of referrals for our other vendors. Just about every vendor I used was a referral from her. This as especially helpful since I was out of town.

Tamara completely transformed the gold room to my dream wedding. When I walked into our reception for the first time, it brought tears to me eyes. Even our guest gasped when they stepped foot into the room. We have been receiving non-stop complements about how beautiful our wedding was.

Tamara Wendt was incredible! She went above and beyond. Our reception was better than we ever could have dreamed of. She was very flexible with scheduling and even allowed me to Skype with her to pick out flowers. I would highly recommend her for any bride.

Tamara Wendt Design sets the bar for wedding planning and design! I saw a wedding that she designed last year and I knew that second I had to work with her if I ever got married, and she went above and beyond our expectations. They gets to know the couple and create an event that is reflective of who they are, the tone for their event, and their vision for the day. I had a very small intimate wedding, but I wanted to create elegance and class. I wanted it to be romantic, intimate, and memorable and it was exactly as both me and my husband envisioned. I get compliments constantly saying how "stunning" my day was! There was no stress in working with Tami or Katie, I trusted them to create our dream wedding and they did an amazing job with ease. They even have wonderful suggestions on ways to cut costs, or help with a vast network if you need recommendations on vendors for any aspect of the day. I hope someday to throw another party (because they are also event planners, not just for weddings), just so I can work with them again, Tamara Wendt Design sets the bar for making your special event memorable! Tamara was amazing. I did not think that I wanted to plan a wedding or would be good at it. Tamara took the dream I had in my head and made it an actuality. The day of the wedding with her help went off without a hitch or worry because Tamara and her crew did such an amazing job. I was able to be an easy-going laid back bride because of Tamara and her crew. Well worth the investment. I think that even if I did want to plan a wedding I still would have hired Tamara because she would have made my dream even more fantastic. Could recommend their services enough!

Tamara Wendt Designs went above and beyond the call of duty to make our daughters wedding day a dream come true for her! My son was married 6 years ago and I did the majority of the planning and decorating. It was quite an undertaking and a lot to ask of our friends to help, which they did but sure hated to do it! When our daughter got engaged I wanted to be able to enjoy the day and for our friends to be able to just come and have fun!! Well Tamara delivered on making that dream a reality! We walked into a storybook room! Our daughter was overwhelmed with how beautiful it all was! We were able to enjoy the whole day with no worries and at the end of night we were able to leave and not have anything to do but go to bed!! Tamara and her team were wonderful to work with and we will be using them again when our other daughter gets married!! You won't be disappointed!!!

Tamara Wendt is the best! She brought my dream wedding to life and exceeded all expectations. I live in Seattle and got married in Davenport at the Figge so planning my wedding from across the country with a very demanding job seemed daunting. I could not have done it without Tamara Wendt. Her organized and calm demeanor made me feel comfortable and stress-free every step of the way. I came to her with a vision and she helped me paint a picture of exactly the vibe I was going for (Modern Sophistication) including layouts and pictures of exactly the chairs, linens, flowers, decor, etc which would be used.

She also coordinated with all my vendors to ensure everyone had a timeline and would arrive on time and know their part. Again, one less thing for me to handle or stress about.

I utilized Tamara for my rehearsal and day of as well. Best decision ever! She was, as always, extremely organized and made things go off without a hitch, at least any that she let me know of:)

I can't recommend Tamara enough. Absolute best part of our wedding! She completely transformed the Figge into a modern, sophisticated and glamourous wedding venue which numerous guests complimented on over and over again throughout the night. She has an eye for design along with detail and organization. Any level which you choose to use her services will be 110%.

I always had an idea what I wanted my wedding to look like but I never knew how to execute it. I had tons of pins on my Pinterest but I didn't think that they created a concrete vision.
I found Tamara from a list that my venue provided me and was told, "She is amazing, you pay for what you get. Tamara will make sure this day is perfect."
I didn't doubt them, her pictures from previous weddings were beautiful but none of them were "me". I didn't doubt she would get the job done, I was fully confident in her but I didn't know what to expect because I didn't know what I wanted. I didn't have a color pallet and she was working completely off of my Pinterest boards.
I walked in the day of the wedding, knowing what they were going to use to decorate but I didn't know what the overall picture would be...
my jaw dropped when I walked in. My bridesmaids kept saying how beautiful it was, and that it was "so you". It looked like something I had created myself. It was spectacular. She blew me away and was extraordinary to work with. I was one happy bride and our wedding day was perfect!

Tamara did a phenomenal job designing and organizing our wedding. We started planning when we were out of state and Tami gave us a list of her recommended vendors and set up meetings for us so that when we arrived in the Quad Cities for the weekend, we knocked out cake tastings, event design, catering meeting, venue tours and rentals in just a few days. She contacted vendors for us and took care of details like transportation so that all we had to do was review the contracts and sign. It was about as stress-free as wedding planning could get and our wedding was absolutely stunning. We also employed Tamara Wendt Design for day of coordination and not only did we have one of her assistants helping us stay on track the day of and taking care of us, but Tami worked tirelessly behind the scenes so that everything was perfectly in place when our guests arrived. If there were any problems, we heard nothing of them and our wedding was 100% stress-free.

We used Tamara for our wedding, and were so glad we made that choice! She captured the spirit, style, and characteristics we wanted for the event and went above and beyond for a beautiful atmosphere. Tamara and her crew were very professional and accessible (flexible with distance communications since we live 3 hours away) and gave us their full attention each time we met up. Tamara was an ESSENTIAL part of making our wedding day beautiful and enjoyable. If you want to feel relaxed and know that somebody will handle any "issue" on your wedding day, I suggest hiring Tami. When I was feeling extremely stressed during the week before the wedding, it was a comfort to know that Tami had it all covered. We planned an outdoor tent wedding, and I couldn't have done it without Tami's vendor coordination and style. (Note* If you are planning a tent wedding, I highly suggest splurging on the full tent liner with chandeliers. It has such a dramatic effect and looks spectacular.) She knows exactly what she's doing and she will modify the "look" if it doesn't coincide with your budget.

I was so impressed at first sight! Tamara designs the most beautiful events! We live in Chicago and wanted to do a Wedding in my home state. It was held at The Figge Museum in Davenport. It couldn't have been a more perfect location. She transformed the raw and modern space into a glamorous chic Wedding. I got to know Tamara and her team over the year we planned my Wedding. Not only did she listen to my ideas she added so much more! There is no other Wedding Planner in Iowa that could of done this event for us! The design was glam, modern and chic. It felt very Hollywood and over the top. Our guests are still talking about our beautiful event! Truly MY DREAM WEDDING! We will have these memories forever!

Tamara Wendt is AMAZING! She listens to everything you have to say and takes into account your likes and dislikes. The design team is timely and professional. When I think back to my wedding there was no stress when working with Tamara. Knowing that she and her team had control of all of the ceremony decoration and the reception details was a giant weight off of my shoulders. I will never forget the way I felt when I walked into the church and the reception because it was totally perfect! Tamara and her team are FABULOUS at what they do! They designed the entire "look" for my wedding reception, based on my "vision." It was EXACTLY what I wanted -- even exceeding my expectations! Tamara Wendt of Tamara Wendt Design was the utmost in a professional designer, wedding planner…simply wonderful to work with. She was friendly, informative, listened to our budget and tailored her decorations to "marry" perfectly w/the bride's vision for the Figge. Most of the guests were not from the immediate Quad City area, so they were "totally blown away" with Tamara's transformation of the inside of the Figge Art Museum. The crew that Tamara brought in at the conclusion of the evening was amazing in how deftly, yet respectfully, they dismantled the room. Tamara worked well with not only the florist (Milan Flowers, Damian), but also with Chef Dave Mickelwright, who affectionately referred to her simply as "Tammy"…loved that! I would definitely recommend Tamara to ANYONE who is planning an event in which they are looking for someone that can "listen" to the client, and respond to their requests with such creative beauty.Thanks, Tamara, to YOU and your entire team.

Tamara and her company is phenominal! She listens to you and taylors the decorations to your tastes. Tamara came up with a plan and was extremely flexible in working with us on changes to design and accomodating budget! She goes above and beyond and created a dream wedding that surpassed our expectations. I have to admit, being the control freak that I am I was nervous at leaving the reception decorating in someone elses hands and trusting that it would look ok when we arrived but I really could not have asked for more perfection!! Tamara also recommended other excellent vendors for cake, flowers, DJ, Limo, etc... to make the whole day great while keeping cost in mind. We couldn't thank Tamara more for making our day more special and taking the time to do all those little things that count!! I highly recommend Tamara Wendt!

My new husband and I cannot say enough great, amazing things about Tamara and her crew. She did such an amazing job with our reception space, we are still in awe. There was not one thing that we would change with our reception decor. We met with Tamara several times to focus in on what we wanted our big day to look like and she delivered and then some! She was so great about working with our budget, making suggestions, etc. She is the definition of professional and awesome to work with. I don't know how many people told me it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. We are so thankful for Tamara. As a bride, there is a lot you have to worry about near your wedding day. We had Tamara and had to worry about a heck of a lot less. Her and her crew set up, made the space look phenomenal, and tore down. It was such a burden lifted off our shoulders and it MADE our wedding. She took the vision we had in our head and made it happen which is something we never could have done on our own. We used Tamara Wendt Design for our daughter’s wedding this past April. Tamara makes your event more than just an event, it is a true celebration, which is nothing less than stunning. She and her team members are truly dedicated to your needs and wishes. It is more than just a job for her, it is clearly her passion! Starting with the intimate ceremony and followed by the cocktail hour and finishing with a seated meal for 350 people. The flower, tables, candles, linens, lounge furniture and all of the extra embellishments that are too many to mention, our guest were AAH struck with the image that she created. Tamara was there throughout the evening overseeing other vendors with any and all questions and issues that arose, even escorting gifts to the table so our guest were free to enjoy themselves as soon as they walked in.
As the Mother of the Bride she made my evening a breeze. When our son takes those steps down the aisle she will be our first call. We look forward to working with her and her team when that day comes.
We gave Tamara 5 stars but she really deserves 10!!!!!!

We live in Texas and our wedding is to be in Iowa and if anybody know a thing about arranging a wedding, this can be a nightmare. But luckily Tamara was there to save the day she was able to give us the wedding of our dream. Omg, we can't believe how wonderful the reception hall was and had received so much compliments from all of our guest. She and her team did a splendid job arranging everything with jaw dropping decorations, gorgeous table set up, atmospheric lighting, and beautiful flowers. The reception was gorgeous. Every aspect of the reception from the staircase to the foyer and interior of the convention center was made welcoming and beautiful. Even the bathrooms had candles and carried the motif!

My son and daughter in law presented Tami with an idea of what they wanted for their wedding, a chic wedding with their love of the outdoors and his love of hunting mixed in. Tamara Wendt is exceptional! She designed and delivered a wedding and reception that truly reflected the bride and groom. They wanted country chic, geeky, fun and beautiful but simple. Tamara Wendt Design was more than I ever imagined. Tamara understood what we wanted from the beginning and built on that theme to create a design that brought tears to the eyes of the family and guests at our wedding. Tamra provided my daughter the wedding of her dreams. Very nice to work with and a pleasure to know she cares about the wishes of bride and groom, as well as the parents.

We were so happy we hired Tamara Wendt Events to help us with the design and execution (setup/tear down/day-of-coordination) of our wedding. It was also helpful having a “go-to person” for questions or assistance along the way when planning the wedding. It made everything simpler that Tamara Wendt Events was a “one-stop shop” for planning/coordination, design, flowers, and rentals.

The quality of work, knowledge, and experience of Tamara and her team gave myself and my mom confidence that the day would go smoothly. The peace of mind that gives you on your wedding day is invaluable! Our assistant, Abbey, was also great to work with. She was organized, on top of everything, and easy to find the day-of with any questions/problems. It made the day so much easier not having to worry about setup, tear down, or making sure all the vendors showed up when they were supposed to. The design itself was stunning - it was exactly the look I wanted. My husband, who never really cared much about this aspect of our wedding, was super wowed with me when the reception room was revealed to us. We were told by several different friends and family that this was the most beautiful and fanciest wedding they’d ever been to.

Admittedly, the cost of Tamara’s services and rentals are quite pricey, but that’s the wedding industry for you. Dealing with the budget of the design was stressful for me. The initial design proposal prepared for me far exceeded my budget. However, Tamara worked with me to figure out what to cut to reach an amount we felt comfortable with. We cut the design cost to less than half of the initial proposal, and I think it was just as beautiful! While we cringe a bit when thinking of how much we spent, we were very thrilled with the results and don’t have regrets.

My mom and I eagerly recommend Tamara Wendt Events to all our local friends who have the budget for it. We also tell non-local friends how valuable wedding planning services are!

150% well worth your time and sanity to book Tamara Wendt! Her team is awesome. Even if you feel like you don't need their services for the full-fledged planning, you need them for the day-of set up and coordination. I highly recommend using Tamara Wendt for any and all of your needs!

Tamara was a very good listener when my daughter described her vision of the outdoor tent, ceremony and overall decor for her wedding. Everything that Tamara recommended was in line with this vision. She overcame some major equipment obstacles to put together a fantastic evening!

Tamara undoubtedly does amazing work and your wedding is guaranteed to be beautiful if she’s involved. My only frustration and disappointment is the lack of clarity when it comes to pricing. She is very emeritus and can be flexible but only to a certain extent. I wasn’t able to have as much help as I wanted due to budget concerns. As long as you ask plenty of questions and are very clear with your budget up front, you shouldn’t be surprised.

Very professional and flexible throughout the entire process. There were some occasions that communication wasn't 100% but overall still an amazing experience that provided us our dream wedding.

The end result was stunning! My day would not have looked as amazing or as breathtaking without her and her team. My only complaint is that Tamara and her team did not show up to the venue until minutes before the ceremony began. We wish that she would have been at the venue throughout the day because (1) she was supposed to based on our contract and (2) because it would have been helpful to have her answer questions other vendors had about the ceremony/reception rather than the bride having to do so. With that being said, there's no way we could have made the space look as upscale and beautiful on our own and we are so thankful for Tamara's talent.
