Tamara in my opinion made the mood for the wedding exceptional! It was like walking into the Royal wedding. Her ideas were the best and out of this world beautiful. She made every thought my daughter had, come alive and even more so than she had anticipated. Even 4 months after the wedding I am still receiving notes from guests telling me not only how beautiful but also how warm and inviting Tamara had made my guests feel. It was exactly what I was looking for. I would HIGHLY recommend Tamara for any event you had in mind!!

Tamara Wendt Designs made our vision come to life. We had our wedding at a venue that doesn't host weddings and we needed someone with a lot of experience to make it run smoothly from beginning to end and she did just that. They were there for us throughout the planning process and on the day of we didn't have a thing to worry about. She is worth every penny and we would recommended her to everyone! Easy to work with and does fantastic work, we couldn't be happier!

Tamara Wendt is exceptional! She designed and delivered a wedding and reception that truly reflected the bride and groom. They wanted country chic, geeky, fun and beautiful but simple. From tables with mix matched vintage dishes with flowers and candles to pizza and popsicles, Tami pulled it all together where people still are talking about how fun yet so beautiful the event was. It all began when she found the perfect venue. Without Tami we would have never been able to have the wedding Natalie and Luke were hoping for. Besides her artistic gifts she is amazing at listening and understanding the vision desired by the bride and groom. How blessed we were to have Tami in charge of such a special occasion.

I lived nearly three hours away from our wedding location, went to class full-time, worked half-time, and was trying to plan a wedding. Tamara and her crew made the wedding planning painless, and I know the day would not have been nearly as beautiful without their work.

Katie and Tamara were amazing to work with. We went in with our ideas and they made our every dream come true. We were completely in love with our day and the design they created for us. Our reception was so beautiful and people are still talking about it months later.

From beginning to end our experience with Tamara Wendt Events was top notch. They took our vision and went above and beyond. The communication was great & they really listened to what we wanted. Our event space was transformed into the most beautiful space we could have imagined.

Tami is so knowledgeable and professional. She is by far the best wedding designer in the Quad City area. I can't even begin to describe how beautiful our ceremony and reception were. Nothing I could have even come close to doing on my own. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and her team. The day would not have been as dreamlike with out them!

I simply can’t image my wedding weekend with Tamara Wendt and her wonderful team! My husband and I live 3 hours away from the quad cities so one can image how nervous we were planning an out-of-town wedding but Tamara and Katie made it so feel so natural and effortless. Their attention to detail was outstanding and made the event extra special to myself, my husband, and all the guests. I would highly recommend TWE services as nothing can compare!

Tamara Wendt Events is the best!

Tamara, and her team really made our day very special. Everything was perfect, elegant, professional, and most importantly so pretty! Tamara and her team took care of chairs, tables, center pieces, flowers, and tents for our outdoor event and also helped with the rehearsal dinner! So fun to work with, great people and attention to detail!

I always had an idea what I wanted my wedding to look like but I never knew how to execute it. I had tons of pins on my Pinterest but I didn't think that they created a concrete vision.
I found Tamara from a list that my venue provided me and was told, "She is amazing, you pay for what you get. Tamara will make sure this day is perfect."
I didn't doubt them, her pictures from previous weddings were beautiful but none of them were "me". I didn't doubt she would get the job done, I was fully confident in her but I didn't know what to expect because I didn't know what I wanted. I didn't have a color pallet and she was working completely off of my Pinterest boards.
I walked in the day of the wedding, knowing what they were going to use to decorate but I didn't know what the overall picture would be...
my jaw dropped when I walked in. My bridesmaids kept saying how beautiful it was, and that it was "so you". It looked like something I had created myself. It was spectacular. She blew me away and was extraordinary to work with. I was one happy bride and our wedding day was perfect!

We used Tamara for our wedding, and were so glad we made that choice! She captured the spirit, style, and characteristics we wanted for the event and went above and beyond for a beautiful atmosphere. Tamara and her crew were very professional and accessible (flexible with distance communications since we live 3 hours away) and gave us their full attention each time we met up. She is a talented, creative designer who focuses on client needs to create the perfect setting for an event.

Tamara Wendt design went above and beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of. They made being a bride with a busy schedule easy and fun. It was perfect. They truly take the time, energy and effort to make it absolutely beautiful.

Gorgeous reception! Heard a lot of comments from guests "it was amazing". She works with your budget and my suggestion would be to give it to her up front.

We used Tamara Wendt Design for our daughter’s wedding this past April. Tamara makes your event more than just an event, it is a true celebration, which is nothing less than stunning. She and her team members are truly dedicated to your needs and wishes. It is more than just a job for her, it is clearly her passion! Starting with the intimate ceremony and followed by the cocktail hour and finishing with a seated meal for 350 people. The flower, tables, candles, linens, lounge furniture and all of the extra embellishments that are too many to mention, our guest were AAH struck with the image that she created. Tamara was there throughout the evening overseeing other vendors with any and all questions and issues that arose, even escorting gifts to the table so our guest were free to enjoy themselves as soon as they walked in.
As the Mother of the Bride she made my evening a breeze. When our son takes those steps down the aisle she will be our first call. We look forward to working with her and her team when that day comes.
We gave Tamara 5 stars but she really deserves 10!!!!!!

Had one of the most gorgeous wedding reception ever! Tamara Wendt is my mother and she worked her tail off designing the vision and making it into reality! It was beautiful couldn't ask for anything else. Tami I believe is the best wedding design in the area. If you happen to be getting married I would strongly suggest that you give her a call!!!

Tamara Wendt Design sets the bar for wedding planning and design! I saw a wedding that she designed last year and I knew that second I had to work with her if I ever got married, and she went above and beyond our expectations. They gets to know the couple and create an event that is reflective of who they are, the tone for their event, and their vision for the day. I had a very small intimate wedding, but I wanted to create elegance and class. I wanted it to be romantic, intimate, and memorable and it was exactly as both me and my husband envisioned. I get compliments constantly saying how "stunning" my day was! There was no stress in working with Tami or Katie, I trusted them to create our dream wedding and they did an amazing job with ease. They even have wonderful suggestions on ways to cut costs, or help with a vast network if you need recommendations on vendors for any aspect of the day. I hope someday to throw another party (because they are also event planners, not just for weddings), just so I can work with them again, Tamara Wendt Design sets the bar for making your special event memorable! Tamara planned our June 2012 wedding. She captured every aspect of detail that we envisioned while working with our budget and venue. Having her be apart of the process took away all the stress and busy of wedding planning so that we could enjoy every minute of it. I cannot say enough positive things about Tamara's services. She has a great crew and a very talented eye for detail and planning.

My new husband and I cannot say enough great, amazing things about Tamara and her crew. She did such an amazing job with our reception space, we are still in awe. There was not one thing that we would change with our reception decor. We met with Tamara several times to focus in on what we wanted our big day to look like and she delivered and then some! She was so great about working with our budget, making suggestions, etc. She is the definition of professional and awesome to work with. I don't know how many people told me it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. We are so thankful for Tamara. As a bride, there is a lot you have to worry about near your wedding day. We had Tamara and had to worry about a heck of a lot less. Her and her crew set up, made the space look phenomenal, and tore down. It was such a burden lifted off our shoulders and it MADE our wedding. She took the vision we had in our head and made it happen which is something we never could have done on our own. We are so happy with our choice to go with Tamara. It was worth every single cent!

Tamara Wendt is AMAZING! She listens to everything you have to say and takes into account your likes and dislikes. The design team is timely and professional. When I think back to my wedding there was no stress when working with Tamara. Knowing that she and her team had control of all of the ceremony decoration and the reception details was a giant weight off of my shoulders. I will never forget the way I felt when I walked into the church and the reception because it was totally perfect! Tamara is such a joy to work with and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a stress free wedding or event in the Quad Cities.
