  The Exceptional Talbot Ross

  My husband and I hosted a 3 day party to celebrate our marriage and having Talbot as our event planner was the best investment that we made for our wedding weekend. We chose Talbot, because we wanted a planner who was well-connected, well-respected, and an expert at planning and executing beautiful, joyful, and detailed events — this was especially important to us given how busy we are in our professional lives and our physical distance from Puerto Vallarta.
  
  Talbot and his team helped us plan 3 back-to-back events (Welcome Event, Pool Party, and Night Party) with each event having its own unique venue, design elements, surprises, and entertainment, and his team hit it out of the park for each event. From the beginning, we told Talbot that we wanted to prioritize our guests’ experience and maximize the feeling of warmth and fun felt throughout the weekend, and he helped us achieve that by helping us incorporate exciting details and surprises (including a custom coconut bar, ice cream taco vendor, live saxophonist, churro stand, taco cart, fire dancers, and fireworks). I think the success of a wedding should be judged by how much love and joy is felt by the people there, and thanks to T and his team, the feeling for us was overwhelming (in other words, pure magic).
  
  It goes without saying that Talbot has impeccable taste; that’s obvious from his Instagram and other reviews. What’s not as apparent from pictures (but may be even more important) is Talbot’s soft skills. He’s confident, supportive, and knows how to make you feel grounded when the planning process or parts of the wedding experience (inevitably) make you feel overwhelmed. We feel very lucky to have worked with T, and we can’t wait to have another excuse to throw a party so we can work with him again.

  Talbot and his team are magic makers. They created an unforgettable wedding weekend for us at the end of April. Our family and friends are still buzzing about it. From the food, to the venues (welcome party and wedding) to the music, everything was perfection.
  
  There is a lot of trust that goes into planning a wedding in another country and Talbot proved why he was the one for the job. I work in events so relinquishing some of that control was only going to happen if I had the utmost confidence in our planner. We would have truly been lost without his guidance and expertise. Every vendor he recommended was amazing. Talbot also does his own florals and what he created for our Welcome Party and our Wedding felt like something out of a magazine. I was so relaxed leading into everything because I knew he had my back and all I had to do was sit back and enjoy.
  
  If you want someone to make your wedding dreams come true - Talbot is your person.

  Planned the wedding of our dreams!

  Talbot was absolutely incredible from the beginning stages of planning through the execution of our dream wedding weekend. He acted as a true partner and consultant by helping us turn our vision into a reality. Our guests shared that the wedding was the most beautiful and entertaining wedding they had ever been to and I attribute so much of this to Talbot. The weekend was full of intimate details, fun surprises, and it was visually stunning. I cannot recommend Talbot enough. It was a 10/10 experience and he is an incredible human to match!

  Talbot Ross and his team were truly spectacular to work with. Talbot was professional, approachable and a seasoned expert as shown by how seamless our wedding went. We shared our vision and budget and he took it and made it better than we could have dreamed. I couldn’t recommend more!

  Dream wedding weekend

  Talbot helped make our dream destination wedding come true. It was wonderful working with him to make our wedding weekend festivities so special. We valued his keen eye for design and beautiful floral arrangements. He listened to what we had envisioned and made our wedding even better than we could have imagined. We received so many compliments from our guests about not only our wedding, but Talbot himself. We’re so happy we had the chance to work with him and his wonderful team.

  Simply Amazing

  I hired Talbot Ross Events to do my do my BIG birthday party (more on the scale of a wedding than a birthday party) and I could not be more happy with his services. Talbot knocked it out of the park. The flowers were so beautiful and well thought out all the guest were clamouring to take them home at the end of the night. Everything from communication, organization, design, entertainment and co-ordination could not have been executed better. His knowledge and advice are invaluable. When he gives you advice, do yourself a favor and take it, he knows what he is doing. He is calm, cool and collected and reeled me in when needed as I was very nervous about the big day. All of my guest told me it was the best party they have ever been to and his staff took care of all of them. I am still on cloud 9 and could not be happier with my experience.

  Talbot Ross Events created an amazing wedding weekend for our daughter at the St. Regis, Punta Mita. Not only is Talbot creative in his design, but he also understands the timeline and flow of a party, how to use entertainment and crank up the energy. He created a gorgeous lounge on the beach for our Welcome Party and coordinated the music and entertainment. His design of the wedding ceremony and reception was exceptional. The decor was sophisticated and captured the culture of Mexico, using local resources and florals. Our guests felt treated to an extraordinary experience and were highly complimentary of the decor, the entertainment, the food and service, the energy and vibe, much of which is to Talbot's credit. Talbot also understands the dynamics of working with resort staff, and has an outstanding vision for the use of the property. He created privacy within the resort for all of the events, and used the natural beauty of the beach and oceanfront, together with lighting, florals and tabletop decor to create a magical experience. He guided and choreographed the flow and timing of the wedding day and reception, which allowed us to fully enjoy every minute and was beyond our expectations.
  I would highly recommend Talbot Ross Events to anyone planning an event in the Puerto Vallarta area.

It was stressful planning a wedding from a different country, but he made sure to get everything I wanted & suggested ideas that really made our wedding stand out. Couldn't recommend him enough! My friends & family said it was the best, most beautiful wedding they've ever been to.

  Talbot is the best!

  Talbot is the greatest wedding planner there is! He helped execute our dream vision for 90 guests in Puerto Vallarta in April of 2023. He's truly a visionary and designs the most gorgeous events (the florals are to die for!). From the moment we met him over the phone, we could tell Talbot had a calmness and confidence that you need in a wedding planner- especially one that's helping you plan a wedding outside of your own country. We weren't able to make a trip to see the venue before booking, but fully trusted Talbot's recommendation. His team goes above and beyond on the day of the event to make it run as smooth as possible.

  Talbot is the best!

  Talbot planned our wedding at Villa La Mansion and it was amazing!! The day went perfectly without any hiccups and he is super professional. It’s clear he knows what he’s doing and would recommend him to anyone!

  The BEST Wedding Planner Of All Time

  Words cannot truly express how incredible of a wedding planner, Talbot Ross is. He exceeded my expectations in every way possible and gave me the wedding of my dreams. I discovered a ceremony that he had done on Pinterest, and knew exactly at that moment that I had to have him plan my wedding wedding, and get married under the same beautiful trees overlooking the ocean at the St. Regis Punta Mita resort. From the start of planning to the day of the wedding, Talbot was nothing but exceptional in communication, coordination, support, and advice. I knew from the first time that I met Talbot that I could trust him to plan a perfect wedding weekend for our closest family and friends. We immediately clicked, and after giving him some inspirational photos of my ideas of the vibe of the events of my wedding weekend, I had no doubt he would surpass my expectations and make my dreams become a reality. And he did. Talbot is everything that a bride to be could ask for in a wedding planner. He is very honest and straightforward, helpful and supportive, and willing to give honest advice in order to provide you with the best wedding possible. My husband and I are forever grateful that our paths crossed because he gave us, our closest friends, and family members, a weekend that will be remembered for the rest of our lives. I cannot say enough good things about Talbot, but I will say that I am so happy with the wedding weekend that he planned for us and how incredibly special he made us feel. He is truly a one of a kind gem, both as a person and a wedding planner.   A very special Wedding Planner

  There are so many wonderful things to say about Talbot Ross it is hard to know where to start! If I could give more than a 5 star review, I would do so. Talbot planned my daughter's wedding at Villa La Mansion and it was spectacular. He is an incredible wedding planner who is also kind, genuine and very easy to work with. From our initial contact with Talbot until the completion of the wedding weekend, he guided us through the process with calmness and ease.
  Talbot's impeccable taste, attention to detail and sophisticated touches created a wedding that was both elegant and breathtaking. He handled every detail from the Welcome Party to the day after brunch giving my daughter and son-in-law a magical weekend they will always remember. The decor, table arrangements, florals, fireworks (I could go on and on!) and seamless execution of the wedding day was flawless.
  I would recommend Talbot and his amazing team for any event large or small. We can't thank you enough Talbot for giving my daughter and entire family a wedding we will never forget!

  Dream wedding

  Talbot single handedly made the wedding of our dreams happen. I want to start by saying that Talbot is such a kind and genuine person and so easy to work with. I said multiple times throughout the planning process that I don’t know what I would have done without Talbot.
  
  We had our wedding at Four Seasons, Punta Mita. We were set that we wanted the wedding at four seasons, although the reception choices were limited. Talbot went to four seasons and scouted venue options for us and picked the absolute best spot to have our wedding which was coral beach house! I sent Talbot some inspiration pictures and he absolutely nailed it! It was so amazing how little I had to communicate with Talbot through the process and yet he had everything completely under control. It was something I never had to worry about and had to put little personal time into, and he got everything done behind the scenes. Trust that he knows what he is doing and he will deliver!
  
  Our reception was in front of coral beach house, ocean front, with a large dance floor, long tables, candles, flowers, twinkle lights etc. Not only were the flowers and decor on point, but Talbot also constructed the dance floor for us. We ran into a problem when we realized the four seasons had recently done a remodel of the beach front area of coral beach house (where the wedding was taking place) and put in a fire pit that could not be moved. Talbot said “no problem do not worry I know what to do” and created a raised dance floor for us over the fire pit! It was amazing.
  
  Day of wedding, Talbot was calm and collected and made the wedding day a breeze. As a bride, you just want to enjoy your day and stay in the moment. Talbot made sure I got to do that and handled everything. All of my guests raved about the wedding and said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. Talbot’s decor is timeless and elegant. I wish I could do the entire day over again. With Talbot by your side, you need to just sit back, relax, and know your day will be amazing! Thank you so much to Talbot and his team who worked so hard setting up our wedding and making it a night I will never forget!!!

  Above and Beyond

  There are not enough fantastic things I could say about Talbot and his team. He truly exceeded all (very high) expectations. We had a few hiccups with our wedding location and Talbot helped walk us through everything, be our advocates, and plan what many people refer to as the best and most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. He also became a guest favorite appearing in many instagram posts later on!
  
  Talbot took my hazy vision and turned it into something beyond my imagination. It was truly perfect and flawless in every way. The three day event was so smooth running. I would clone him and gift every bride I know him and his team if I could.

  Talbot Ross Events is first class in every aspect of planning!

  Were do I event start?! Talbot Ross is such an incredible event/wedding planner. From our initial meeting with Talbot through the big week, the process was absolutely wonderful. Talbot has such a calming presence about him and truly understands how to plan a once in a lifetime experience regardless of the occasion. As this was for our wedding, we wanted to ensure we had someone who could navigate the challenges that were undoubtedly going to arise and of course, some did. Fortunately for us, Talbot was our steward and made sure the wedding could handle the challenges faced and somehow had a way of making it seem like nothing had even changed - challenges averted due to Talbot! From the time we began working together I felt comfortable letting Talbot make the majority of decisions as he is the professional, and what a great decision it was. I realized early on in the process that Talbot does this for a living and his expertise should be trusted, which 100% proved to be the correct decision. The venue's were beyond what I could even imagine and the beauty as well as cadence of the weekend were unparalleled. My wife and I spoke about the events (Talbot planned three (3) days for us in Punta Mita - 1. Welcome Party 2. Wedding (ceremony and reception) and 3. a pool party) after we had some time to take a breath and relax after the amazing weekend. We both agreed that there wasn't a single thing we would have changed during the course of the weekend. I never felt like the events were rushed but at the same time felt that everything was moving at the perfect pace to truly take in the magic of our special weekend with our closest friends and family. I can not recommend Talbot highly enough to plan your special event. He was gracious, kind, funny and simply a good time to work with! 11/10 stars for this man!! We will be encouraging family and friends to work with Talbot in the future and look forward to visiting with him during our next trip to Puerto Vallarta and Punta Mita!

  It was an absolute pleasure to have Talbot planned and executed our dream wedding. He was incredibly responsive and gave the best advice when it comes to our day. He is also extremely kind and his professionalism is on another level. We were glad to choose Talbot as our wedding planner, and I would definitely recommend to anyone who would like to hire a planner in PV.

  We booked Talbot after our first conversation because he immediately put our minds at ease. Planning a wedding in a city you don’t live in can be a little unnerving. You have to take the planner at their word for a lot of recommendations. Food, the DJ, etc. but Talbot made us feel totally in control throughout the entire process. When the big day came he was so on top of everything. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Best money that we have ever spent. Book Talbot and you won’t be disappointed.

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Talbot and his staff. He was always quick to respond to my emails and was always willing to set up a phone call to discuss our wedding details. I explained my vision for our wedding and he made it into a reality that exceeded our expectations. The day of the wedding, his staff were very attentive and helpful. Every detail of the wedding was perfectly executed with care and attention. Wonderful wonderful wonderful!!

  Talbot is the best

  We left our wedding weekend with the decision that we need Talbot Ross Events for any major events from here on out- no matter the location.
  
  Talbot Ross Events did so much for us. I am in awe of the company Talbot runs, and his ability to personalize the entire planning experience. Not only did he plan and execute an incredible day for us, he taught us so much about efficiency, patience and communication.
  
  Our event was complex, we had separate locations around Punta Mita for getting ready, the wedding mass, and our reception. Talbot coordinated with us at each location with grace and made the entire day very easy and enjoyable. He worked with us on every curveball; from coordinating with our Church, budget discussions and advice, a 50% increase in anticipated guest count, out of town wedding band, last minute musician additions, the list goes on and on. Talbot is no drama, direct, and efficient while still being kind and personal, he is a joy to work with. Trust his pace and his process, because he knows what he is doing.
  Talbot and his team also ran our wedding day smoothly and beautifully. He helped us be present in the moment and made sure we savored all the love of the day.
  He listened to our priorities and made sure our timeline reflected it. Using his wide network of connections and incredible design talent he worked with each vendor directly to plan a beautiful reception.
