We found Talbot through a friend and could not be happier with our decision. Before we even paid a retainer, he got on a call with us, listened to our vision, and offered recommendations that helped us find our venue in Puerto Vallarta. He fully embraced our idea of a full destination weekend, a Friday welcome party, Saturday wedding, and Sunday pool party, came prepared with ideas that elevated each event, and worked through every challenge we threw at him calmly and creatively. His local network was one of the biggest advantages of working with him. He helped us find our photographer, DJ, ceremony guitarist, and more, and because he had worked at our venue many times before, coordination and setup were smooth from start to finish.
When the weekend arrived, Talbot was exactly where he needed to be at every moment, available without ever being intrusive. His team transformed the venue on wedding day with remarkable speed and professionalism, and the turnaround between the wedding and our Sunday pool party left our guests genuinely amazed. He even coordinated our own shuttle transportation and surprise entertainment so we never had to think about them. His installment payment structure was an added bonus, meaning once the weekend arrived, we weren't dealing with cash, pesos, or any last-minute logistics. Planning a destination wedding can be overwhelming. Talbot made it enjoyable, and we would recommend him without hesitation to anyone considering a wedding in Puerto Vallarta. -

Talbot is truly such an incredible and talented wedding planner. From the very beginning, he understood my vision and brought my pink wedding dream to life in a way that exceeded anything I could have imagined. I sent him a few Pinterest inspirations, and instead of just recreating them, he elevated every detail and made it feel completely unique and personal to me.
His creativity, attention to detail, and ability to transform ideas into something magical is unmatched. The florals were absolutely stunning. To this day, our guests are still talking about how beautiful everything looked and how unforgettable the ambiance was. The entire night felt like a dream come to life, and that is entirely thanks to Talbot’s vision and execution.
Beyond his talent, he was also such a joy to work with throughout the entire process. He was professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. I felt completely at ease knowing he was handling everything.
If you are looking for someone who will not only bring your vision to life but elevate it beyond your expectations, Talbot is the one. I cannot recommend him enough. -

Talbot helped plan and execute 4 events for my daughter’s wedding in San Pancho in May. We had a welcome dinner party at our home with open bar, dinner and live band. The caterer and band chosen by Talbot were wonderful and very professional. The following day, Talbot assisted with a pool party at the local beach club with open bar, lunch and DJ. Again- a great event! That night Talbot organized a rehearsal dinner at the polo club with mariachis, dinner, open bar and live music. Finally, Talbot planned and executed the wedding and reception back at the beach club. Absolutely flawless! At each event, the food, decor and flow were perfect! He has impeccable taste and it showed! His hair/make up and photography referrals were spot on, and he also helped with the transportation of our guests to and from each event - not an easy task considering that people stayed at @10 different hotels and rental properties! Most importantly, Talbot’s expertise and confidence allowed my family to relax and enjoy each event. Thanks to Talbot and his team, my daughter’s wedding dreams all came true. -

Best money we’ve ever spent
We booked Talbot after our first conversation because he immediately put our minds at ease. Planning a wedding in a city you don’t live in can be a little unnerving. You have to take the planner at their word for a lot of recommendations. Food, the DJ, etc. but Talbot made us feel totally in control throughout the entire process. When the big day came he was so on top of everything. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Best money that we have ever spent. Book Talbot and you won’t be disappointed. -

Exceeded our wildest dreams
Talbot and his team are magic makers. They created an unforgettable wedding weekend for us at the end of April. Our family and friends are still buzzing about it. From the food, to the venues (welcome party and wedding) to the music, everything was perfection.
There is a lot of trust that goes into planning a wedding in another country and Talbot proved why he was the one for the job. I work in events so relinquishing some of that control was only going to happen if I had the utmost confidence in our planner. We would have truly been lost without his guidance and expertise. Every vendor he recommended was amazing. Talbot also does his own florals and what he created for our Welcome Party and our Wedding felt like something out of a magazine. I was so relaxed leading into everything because I knew he had my back and all I had to do was sit back and enjoy.

The BEST Wedding Planner Of All Time
Words cannot truly express how incredible of a wedding planner, Talbot Ross is. He exceeded my expectations in every way possible and gave me the wedding of my dreams. I discovered a ceremony that he had done on Pinterest, and knew exactly at that moment that I had to have him plan my wedding wedding, and get married under the same beautiful trees overlooking the ocean at the St. Regis Punta Mita resort. From the start of planning to the day of the wedding, Talbot was nothing but exceptional in communication, coordination, support, and advice. I knew from the first time that I met Talbot that I could trust him to plan a perfect wedding weekend for our closest family and friends. We immediately clicked, and after giving him some inspirational photos of my ideas of the vibe of the events of my wedding weekend, I had no doubt he would surpass my expectations and make my dreams become a reality. And he did. Talbot is everything that a bride to be could ask for in a wedding planner. He is very honest and straightforward, helpful and supportive, and willing to give honest advice in order to provide you with the best wedding possible. My husband and I are forever grateful that our paths crossed because he gave us, our closest friends, and family members, a weekend that will be remembered for the rest of our lives. I cannot say enough good things about Talbot, but I will say that I am so happy with the wedding weekend that he planned for us and how incredibly special he made us feel. We had extremely high expectations and Talbot managed to exceed all of them. From our beach party the night before our wedding to the actual wedding, everything was executed exceptionally with minimal work on our part. Talbot is the greatest wedding planner there is! He helped execute our dream vision for 90 guests in Puerto Vallarta in April of 2023. He's truly a visionary and designs the most gorgeous events (the florals are to die for!). From the moment we met him over the phone, we could tell Talbot had a calmness and confidence that you need in a wedding planner- especially one that's helping you plan a wedding outside of your own country. We weren't able to make a trip to see the venue before booking, but fully trusted Talbot's recommendation. Were do I event start?! Talbot Ross is such an incredible event/wedding planner. From our initial meeting with Talbot through the big week, the process was absolutely wonderful. Talbot has such a calming presence about him and truly understands how to plan a once in a lifetime experience regardless of the occasion. As this was for our wedding, we wanted to ensure we had someone who could navigate the challenges that were undoubtedly going to arise and of course, some did. Fortunately for us, Talbot was our steward and made sure the wedding could handle the challenges faced and somehow had a way of making it seem like nothing had even changed - challenges averted due to Talbot! From the time we began working together I felt comfortable letting Talbot make the majority of decisions as he is the professional, and what a great decision it was. I realized early on in the process that Talbot does this for a living and his expertise should be trusted, which 100% proved to be the correct decision. The venue's were beyond what I could even imagine and the beauty as well as cadence of the weekend were unparalleled. My wife and I spoke about the events (Talbot planned three (3) days for us in Punta Mita - 1. Welcome Party 2. Wedding (ceremony and reception) and 3. a pool party) after we had some time to take a breath and relax after the amazing weekend. We both agreed that there wasn't a single thing we would have changed during the course of the weekend. I never felt like the events were rushed but at the same time felt that everything was moving at the perfect pace to truly take in the magic of our special weekend with our closest friends and family. I can not recommend Talbot highly enough to plan your special event. He was gracious, kind, funny and simply a good time to work with! 11/10 stars for this man!! We will be encouraging family and friends to work with Talbot in the future and look forward to visiting with him during our next trip to Puerto Vallarta and Punta Mita! -

There are not enough fantastic things I could say about Talbot and his team. He truly exceeded all (very high) expectations. We had a few hiccups with our wedding location and Talbot helped walk us through everything, be our advocates, and plan what many people refer to as the best and most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. He also became a guest favorite appearing in many instagram posts later on!
Talbot took my hazy vision and turned it into something beyond my imagination. It was truly perfect and flawless in every way. The three day event was so smooth running. I would clone him and gift every bride I know him and his team if I could. -

Talbot is the best
We left our wedding weekend with the decision that we need Talbot Ross Events for any major events from here on out- no matter the location.
Talbot Ross Events did so much for us. I am in awe of the company Talbot runs, and his ability to personalize the entire planning experience. Not only did he plan and execute an incredible day for us, he taught us so much about efficiency, patience and communication.
Our event was complex, we had separate locations around Punta Mita for getting ready, the wedding mass, and our reception. Talbot coordinated with us at each location with grace and made the entire day very easy and enjoyable. He worked with us on every curveball; from coordinating with our Church, budget discussions and advice, a 50% increase in anticipated guest count, out of town wedding band, last minute musician additions, the list goes on and on. Talbot is no drama, direct, and efficient while still being kind and personal, he is a joy to work with. Trust his pace and his process, because he knows what he is doing.
Talbot and his team also ran our wedding day smoothly and beautifully. He helped us be present in the moment and made sure we savored all the love of the day.
He listened to our priorities and made sure our timeline reflected it. Using his wide network of connections and incredible design talent he worked with each vendor directly to plan a beautiful reception. We are very thankful for Talbot, and his entire team, and look forward to working with them again. -

A pandemic wedding never to be forgotten! My fiancé (Cole) and I were lucky enough to be referred to Talbot when we started talking about the idea of getting married in the PV area in January of 2021. Actually we were flat out told - if you want to get married in the area Talbot is the man you want to be working with, he’s incredible. From our initial call we hit it off immediately and after looking at his Instagram profile I was all in. Something that was extremely important to us (and always has been) was experiences and we could see that was Talbot’s end goal in the pictures that he would share. Then let’s also talk about the pandemic. In January the vaccine had come out and I was convinced we’re going to be done with Covid by the summer and we planned a December 2021 wedding.
We were so excited throughout the planning - Talbot had found a perfect private location for our wedding - La Mansion - a beautiful villa overlooking the bay and PV. I told him the most important thing for me was that I wanted to capture the colors and beauty of Mexico - and he did just that - truly a “Mexican Chic” experience. Well one week before the wedding Cole went to get tested for Covid and came back positive. And we called Talbot. Right away he came up with a contingency plan pending the PCR results we were waiting on and when I asked him what we needed to do he said “take care of Cole”. I still tear up thinking about that. The next day it was confirmed that he was positive and Talbot asked if we still wanted to do think about getting married in PV. The answer was a quick yes from us both and within 2 days we had a new date - 1/23 - Talbot didn’t waste a minute. As upsetting as all of this was we were thrilled as he had managed to secure all of the same vendors we had lined up for December. He checked in on us a few times that week to see how we were both doing and we appreciated that more than he will ever know. Throughout the last few months of planning and checking in along with us meeting him live in September to do a walk through and a tasting - Talbot had become a friend.
Fast forward to January Cole and I decided to isolate and not see a soul to not take any chances on wedding 2.0 as we were calling it Talbot was keeping us up to date on all things Omicron - because why wouldn’t we have a new variant getting in the way from wedding 1.0? As we were landing in PV I got a text asking if we arrived safely and from that point on I decided to leave everything to in Talbot’s very capable hands.
As we met with him in the villa the day before the wedding to do a quick rehearsal he took charge and you could tell he would do everything to make sure our day was perfect.
From the time our guests arrived and were greeted with ice cold refreshments, escorted downstairs to the beach area that Talbot had transformed with the most beautiful floral arrangements and sat down in his wooden chairs that each had hand painted maracas everyone was blown away. We had a Spanish guitarist that our guests enjoyed as they waited for the ceremony to begin and that we all walked down the aisle to. When he asked me if I’m ready to go I do remember looking at him and at my parents and tearing up a little bit and we were off! The ceremony was visually stunning from what he created and as we were pronounced husband and wife a Mariachi band surprised our guests from them above area and kicked off our cocktail hour. As our guests moved upstairs Talbot yet again transformed the beach area into our reception. His table settings were breathtaking - from his linens to his table, glass and serve ware (my mother in law who had owned a high end home store previously was absolutely delighted)! And the floral arrangements. Sigh and double sigh - super dreamy! Dinner was phenomenal but there were still surprises planned. Between the lit up dance floor, overhead fireworks as Cole and I were finishing up our first dance followed by a song that got everyone on the dance floor - seeing the look on our guests and parents faces was priceless. The best part was we still had a churro cart, a photo booth and a late night taco stand that were huge huge hits. And of course throughout the night Talbot was checking in to see if we had everything we needed and to see how we were doing and feeling and also super attentive to our parents to make sure they were having the best time. The night was magical and spectacular and more than I ever could’ve wished for or dreamed of. Talbot did one last check in and we were set for the night and thanked him for all that he had done for us.
I’d work with him again in a heartbeat and for any event that we ever plan in Puerto Vallarta or in Nayarit, he will be my first call! -

Very Special Moments
We originally started working with Talbot in 2019 to plan our wedding in Puerto Vallarta. We were finally able to celebrate in October 2021 and Talbot played a major role in making it happen. He guided us through every step of the process and provided excellent guidance and suggestions on how to make our event extra special. We hosted close to 80 people from all around the world including family and friends. Talbot managed a Friday wedding reception and a Saturday celebration. Both events went off perfectly and our guests were delighted and even surprised by the detailed touches that Talbot provided. His taste in design and style was excellent and he knew the various providers and venues in Puerto Vallarta to make things happen seamlessly. He even remembered details that we discussed in our initial meeting - 2 years before the actual event. My husband and I were so very happy working with him and would highly recommend him to anyone considering a destination wedding or celebration in Puerto Vallarta or the surrounding areas. When you go with the best, you get the best. Thank you Talbot! -

Best Wedding Planner Around!
Everyone needs a Talbot when planning a wedding, and even more when planning a destination wedding. It’s so STRESSFUL planning a wedding, but he did such an amazing job listening to my wants and needs and running with it. Incredible!
Talbot did our rehearsal dinner and wedding/ reception. I cannot imagine more perfect table scapes and alter. It was like he read my mind for what I wanted. The florals he did were astonishingly beautiful. He had some gorgeous ceramic plates hand painted for us. He remembered all the little details, and even my small requests that I probably made off hand when we were planning the first wedding that got postponed from May 2020 to February 2021. He did everything with very little direction, which allowed me to enjoy the week with my family. After dealing with postponements, I was very grateful to be able to put the whole thing in Talbots talented and capable hands. I’ve been to many beautiful weddings all over the world, but my own was the most beautiful I’ve ever attended. -

Above & Beyond!
We do not even know where to begin when it comes to reviewing Talbot and his team! We used his full wedding planning services, and he did our Welcome Party, Rehearsal Dinner, and Wedding at the St Regis. We were completely blown away by EVERYTHING he did and thoroughly enjoyed working with him and his team.
Talbot made us feel so comfortable from day 1. He is so knowledgable of everything in the area, and he takes so much pride in his work. He was very accommodating of our budget and concerns throughout the entire process, and he made everything so easy for us.
Talbot has worked with almost every vendor in the area, and has amazing relationships with all of them (which speaks to his character and professionalism!) He was able to help us find the best vendors to work with, and took care of all of the logistics during the events.
We had a vision, but Talbot made everything better than we could have even imagined. He is very tasteful and knows how to make things look beautiful without going overboard. His florals were out of this world- and everyone at our wedding is still talking about our tables!
We are so grateful for everything Talbot and his team did to make our wedding weekend perfect. We would not hesitate to work with him again, and look forward to seeing him every time we are back in Puerto Vallarta! -

Perfection!
Talbot has been a dream since day one. He flawlessly executed my vision for a vibrant bohemian wedding. I received compliments from all of my guests about how beautiful the evening was. From the flowers and tables settings, to the lighting and food, the mariachi, the fireworks- late night churro and taco stands. Everything was perfect. 5-star experience 100% of the time
Talbot is simply the best. Our wedding exceeded every hope/expectation and we owe that to Talbot. From day one, he was very responsive, informative, honest, and extremely helpful! If I had to describe our planning experience with Talbot in a few words, they would be: smooth, easy, and fun! To be able to describe our wedding planning in those words with the magnitude of events/details/vendors/guests, not to mention planning a wedding in Mexico while living in California--- is quite the feat. Talbot planned and executed two major wedding events for us: Welcome cocktail party on the beach & the Ceremony/Reception. Our events had about 130 people and numerous entertainment and design components. Talbot made planning smooth/easy by streamlining all the vendors and design aspects, as well as getting to know us to understand our style/tastes. All our planning took place through Talbot, so we didn't have to follow-up with multiple parties/vendors. We loved that Talbot works this way - keeps things moving and prevents things from slipping through the cracks. Talbot brought awesome ideas to the table and enhanced the vision of our wedding day. We would share photo ideas over email or describe over the phone and Talbot knew what to do based on that. Talbot was very organized and had everything centralized for us regarding any questions or concerns. Overall, it felt easy because Talbot is a true professional. Talbot planned out everything to finite details and managed the set up and execution of our events flawlessly. The day of our two events, we were blown away seeing it all come together. Everything was beyond what we dreamed of. Talbot also has exceptional taste, so if you are in need of inspiration and design guidance, he's your guy. Also, Talbot is not only a professional but a good person. He is so friendly, kind, trustworthy, and hilarious! He kept the planning experience fun, because it was truly enjoyable and we knew we could trust him to make our important events come alive! Planning a destination wedding is no walk-in-the-park, but it felt so easy with Talbot. Working with Talbot was a five-star experience 100% of the time. -

Christopher Sent on 08/31/2018I was introduced to Talbot by a friend of mine in Chicago who is a high-end event planner. We ended up with about 80 for a destination wedding in PVR. My partner and I had high expectations. We flew down to PVR in January 2017 to meet with Talbot and he blew us away - taking us to multiple venues and coordinating vendor meetings. In the 12-months between initial meeting and our wedding, Talbot was always available to us via email/phone at a moments notice. He provided excellent vendor resources and offered his expert opinion when requested. We felt so comfortable in his care that many details of our wedding we left to his discretion, as we knew that he would execute perfectly. He was me personified in many ways. You know that person you meet that you know you don't have to worry about shit? Worry about anything? Know they'll take care of it? It's rare. Well, that's Talbot. He executed on our wedding accordingly. I don't like surprises and I don't like f-ups. If they happen, fix them and don't make me have to deal with them. Be capable and plan. Talbot did that. We had a seamless three days of events, and although Talbot didn't plan everything, he facilitated the connections. Talbot came to our Welcome Reception even though he didn't have to. Then, two days later he literally blew everyone's socks off with the most amazing wedding and reception ever. Unless you've used Talbot to plan your wedding, or been to a Talbot Wedding, it will be your best ever. His attention to detail was flawless. We were so confident in him, which is rare, but he had our trust - on the decor almost completely and it rocked - no one had seen anything like it, then it was one thing after another from painted pineapples to pinata to fireworks that provided us and our guests a truly unique and memorable experience. We wish we could do it all again. Thank you, Talbot. You can't go wrong with him. Wedding or event in PVR or the surrounding area - go get Talbot. There's no one else.

He’s built a strong reputation for himself and all the vendors respect him because of it. Everyone is still talking about my beautiful dinner center pieces and everything played out as planned! Esther Sent on 02/24/2018My daughter recently got married in Puerto Vallarta. She had the good fortune to choose Talbot as her wedding planner. Calling Talbot, a "wedding planner" is a little like calling Michelangelo a "ceiling painter". My daughter and I interviewed several wedding planners before finally settling on Talbot. There were about 100 guests and everyone agreed that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended! Talbot is an artist in every sense of the word, he is absolutely incredible to work with, every detail from flower designs to seating arrangement left no room for improvement! He arranged and choreographed the entire affair like something out of a movie. I can't think of anyone who could be his equal. Thank you very much Talbot for making my daughter's dream wedding.

We were locked in on a date and only had 5 months to work with. In that short amount of time, Talbot put together an EXTRAORDINARY wedding weekend! Yes, four days of events, not just a wedding ceremony. Talbot has EXTENSIVE knowledge of the area and vendors, and has cultivated great relationships with them all. Most importantly however, Talbot knows the intricacies of operating in Mexico and bringing things to full fruition. ALL of his recommendations were top notch. After a few conversations with him, Talbot quickly understood our style and the kind of wedding and decor we wanted. He also was able to take our vision and help us imagine components we would have never thought of on our own. Fire dancers, cigar rollers, and even a churro cart, to name a few. My husband and I are both tough critics, and we demand excellence--Talbot exceeded any and all of our already high expectations. Four days of events, executed seamlessly. Talbot's calmness and control over every situation, was a relief and truly allowed us to absorb every second of our wedding without ever having to worry. Perhaps the biggest evidence (and reward) of Talbot's diligence was the effusive praise we received from our guests. Many of them telling us our wedding was literally the best wedding they had ever attended in their entire lives. Our dream wedding became a reality, and we owe so much of that to Talbot. It was PERFECT. If you are planning a wedding in Puerto Vallarta or the surrounding region, and Talbot is available, you would be a fool not to book him immediately!

Sent on 01/08/2016On the advise of a friend of mine in Hollywood who had recently seen Talbots work in Puerto Vallarta, I hired Talbot Ross Events to to produce my birthday party at the last minute on Christmas Eve. I had some last minute downtime from my show Empire and at the last minute decided to spend the holidays in Vallarta. Talbot had 3 days to put my birthday party together (on Christmas Eve) and I was blown away. It would not surprise me at all the see him in Hollywood one day designing a movie set. This guy has that certain something as we say in the business. I would take advantage of his creativity while you still can. Incredible!
