  Beyond wonderful

  My husband and I got married at The Catamaran Resort in San Diego, however we live in Chicago, IL. When we started planning I was nervous to do so from so far away. Kira quickly put my mind at ease. We hired her as a day of coordinator and our officiant but she was always there for me the year prior when I had questions or needed opinions on things. At least 2 weeks prior to our wedding Kira was reaching out making sure we had what we needed and review everything for the big day. We were able to ship her all our decorations we purchased with great instruction on what to do with everything. The week of, she was always available by phone or text if we needed anything. The day before, for the rehearsal, her and her assistant were there to go over everything and solidify the plan for the next day. Come wedding day, Kira and Emily were nothing less than amazing. They set up all the decorations we had. They made sure everything went smoothly and I didn’t notice anything go off script. They were so warm and welcoming to our friends and family and were there for my husband and I until the every end. They even packed up leftover food that we had so we could bring that with us back to the hotel. I would highly recommend Kira and her team any day of the week and twice on Sundays for your event. I know I would definitely use her again if we planned any events out there again.

  With Kira there, you won't have a single worry!

  Kira came in to the equation unexpectedly when one of our vendors had to cancel and she was recommended to me - WOW I am so happy that happened. From the minute I got in to contact with her she was calm, available, organized, and absolutely lovely. From the rehearsal to my wedding day, she handled every single detail. I didn't even find out until after the wedding that there were bumps behind the scenes that she handled. Her level of organization was noticed by not only the staff at my venue, but almost all of my guests too. When I arrived at the venue, she even met me at the bride's suite with a glass of champagne to calm my nerves before walking down the aisle. AND she was our officiant, she wrote one of the most beautiful ceremonies; incorporating personal details of our relationship while keeping it short and sweet - there was not a dry eye there. If you are looking for someone that will take of a TON of weight off your shoulders, look no further. Kira was an absolutely essential part of our weekend and I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

  Wish we could have worked with Kira but the Pandemic had other ideas!

  We originally booked Kira to be the officiant for our 2019 wedding but unfortunately had to postpone our wedding due to a family situation not knowing what 2020 had in store for us around the corner. Kira was more than understanding and graciously rebooked us for our 2020 date with no hesitation, but because of the pandemic we did not end up getting to work with her. From our initial interactions it would have been great to work with her and anyone who will get to have her at their wedding is very lucky!

  Life saver !

  Me and my now wife planned our wedding in a week, yes it was a bit overwhelming but Kira came through and made it happen. So thankful for the kind person she is and her professionalism. We even forgot our wedding license at home and she offered to meet us there to finalize the legal paperwork . Great person, worth having her at our wedding.

  Kira and Emily are the best. They were so patient and professional. Kira is also an officiant and married us! The ceremony was perfect, she tied in things about our relationship which made it that more special. I would recommend them for any event. If you are in the area, please contact them.

  We hired Kira to be our day-of coordinator for our wedding and couldn't have made a better choice! We live out of state and she was more than helpful in giving recommendations about vendors in the area and helping us navigate the process from hundreds of miles away. She did an amazing job of checking in with us and making sure we were doing okay in the last few months and weeks leading up to the big day!
  
  Kira created our entire day-of timeline and was able to connect with our other vendors to ensure things ran smoothly! She conducted our rehearsal the night before the wedding, which was SO helpful and fun! The day-of, Emily, Kira's assistant, did a PHENOMENAL job putting out all of our decorations and setting everything up! I couldn't have imagined trying to do all of that myself the morning/afternoon of my wedding. Having Kira and Emily on board was a godsend and made the day-of so stress free and easy going! Our ceremony space and reception area looked AMAZING even though I gave minimal direction on where to put décor. And to top it off, both Emily and Kira are so sweet, kind, and just generally great women!

  Kira was an all around AMAZING wedding coordinator from start to finish for my September wedding. She was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make the day perfect (which it was!) The venue I had required a total flip from ceremony to reception, which was only possible with the help from her and her team she put together for us. I don’t feel I could ever thank her enough for making my day so stress free, organized, beautiful, fun, affordable... the list can go on and on! Don’t hesitate to have her help you with your special day she is definitely a rare find!! She also bustled my dress for me on top of everything else! Thank you Kira!!

  Kira was amazing. I had talked to and emailed over 20 day of coordinators and planners before I met her and I am sooo happy it didn't work out with the others. I have very high expectations, but meeting and talking with a few coordinators, I was starting to feel like I could only ask for the basics or less. It took me so long to filter through all the coordinators and I was starting to feel that no one was good enough for the job and I had to take on all of it myself, until I met Kira! Wedding planning is so stressful, and you have so many things moving all at the same time, the last thing you need is a difficult coordinator. I am a total DIY bride, and a little bit of an organized freak with a very detailed spreadsheet. Kira was not fazed and took it on like a professional. The moment I got on the phone with her, I knew she was the one. She truly cares about her clients and I was so incredibly relieved. She called when she said she would, she showed up when we planned to, and got everything done without us having to lift a finger. During the wedding, I was so confident that she could get everything done, I didn't even think to worry about anything. She checked on us throughout the night to make sure all was taken care of, and at the end of the night, we left in our getaway car and again, didn't worry about a thing. After spending so much time planning, and making sure everything is perfect, a great day of coordinator is totally worth it to make sure all your planning doesn't go to waste! I highly recommend Kira, and I would not hesitate one bit to hire her again, and would recommend her to all my friends and family!

  Kira was lovely to work with. Everything was so easy; from paying her to communication (via email or phone).   KIRA IS THE BEST OF THE BEST. She took our crazy ideas and dreams and made them come true, all while we were planning from a different state! We came to her with just a couple months to plan a wedding and she dove right in with us to get it done. She made us feel so comfortable and she was so reliable, always available to answer my questions and give advice (and calm me down!:). We also had major changes in our vision midway through planning (our guest list doubled and we decided to have the reception at a residence and the ceremony on the beach, 40 minutes away from each other). She took the challenge without hesitation and made our vision a complete reality. She coordinated the ceremony and reception and made sure all vendors, bridal party and guests were where they needed to be and everything was on schedule. The entire day ran so smooth (and if it didn't, she made sure I had no clue!). My uncle officiated and she took time to help him and give him advice prior to the wedding. We had so much fun with her and she exceeded all expectations we had, she truly went above and beyond and we will forever be grateful for her making our day perfect! 10000% recommend!

Kira went above and beyond what was expected to help our day be as perfect and special as possible. Our day was just that, perfectly sweet in every way.

  A written review will hardly do Kira justice. She brings a certain charisma and sense of ownership you have to experience first hand. If you choose not to read any further - the bottom line is, KIRA IS A ROCKSTAR and single handedly allowed my wedding to go off without a hitch. Professional, personable, firm (but so polite), organized and knowledgable. Kira ran the show. From first contacting her until breaking down and packing up - nothing but outstanding service. Kira is one of those few people left that goes above and beyond the scope of her responsbility and it's all because the clear passion she has for her business. Kira made herself available as a sounding board anytime we had questions and then continued that same kind of elite level service even after the wedding ended. I wish words could capture how grateful we are to have had Kira be a part of our wedding. Without Kira, things would not have come together as seamlessly as they did. Kira deserves every kind word, praise and referall that comes her way. She EARNS it and that is so awesome. Thank you Kira FOR EVERYTHING.

  Definitely got more value than we paid for! Super flexible and creative, Kira was also so patient to answer all of our questions through the planning process. We learned so much from her. She made every effort to be available for us at all the oddest of times whenever we needed her insight. It was also super convenient for us that Kira had decorative items for us to use for the wedding. It was like getting a wedding coordinator and a party rental supplier in one. She did a great job on the rehearsal dinner and on the day of the ceremony everything got executed just the way we planned. She is such a sweet heart and we would definitely recommend her to everyone.

With all of the great venue ideas, contact information, different vendors, which seasons are best, what are mine and my husband likes and dislikes and budget.   Words can not explain how well Kira takes care of her clients. From the very first phone call, I knew she had a game plan to make our wedding go well. We absolutely enjoyed our wedding and the biggest reason why it turned out well was because of KIra. She is so family oriented and has so much patience with all age groups.   Kira is beyond THE BEST! She went above and beyond during my wedding making sure it went absolutely perfect. She always met with me every time I would have a "bridal freak out" in a drop of a dime. I met with several planners and she was by far the best. Brides and grooms, look no more.

  Where to begin!?!? Kira was amazing! The best wedding planner I could have asked for and more. She helped me with every detail and helped me with planning our wedding back home from 1600 miles away. Great communication from 12 months out, through the day of the wedding and shortly after. Very personable and professional and will help you along the way with any questions you have or advise on how to handle things. She helped us with everything from the tipping etiquette, to wonderful wood signs spread about and would even move decorations around so that everyone would be able to see them. We made a lot of the things for the wedding and shipped them home. Kira worked with my mom as well in San Diego. I couldn't imagine my wedding without her help! If there were ever any issues, she handled them before my family had to be involved. She also helped with the wedding rehearsal at the venue and was available to our wedding party if they needed any assistance. Kira even offered to drive us to our hotel so that we could drink and enjoy our reception, and be safe. I can say more, but her service was impeccable and of the highest quality! Very affordable and an expense well worth it to help make what could be stressful, a wonderful experience!

  We booked Sweetest Things in Life Events for the month of wedding coordinator and it was the best decision we made. The company was recommended to us by our venue and I am so glad I had reached out to Kira, the owner of the business. Prior to our meeting I had spoken to few other coordinators but none had compared to her. I knew after speaking with her that I wanted to have her be part of my wedding day and her prices were affordable. We booked her immediately!
  Leading up to my wedding day Kira was in constant contact with me even before the month of the wedding. She would always check up on me and ask how I was doing with the planning and if I needed any assistance. She helped me stay on track with all vendors and their contracts. Kira contacted all of them and followed up with their time of arrival and departure. She even came up with some great ideas like our cake smash contest which was such a hit.
  On our wedding day, June 11 2016, everything was flawless and beautiful. Kira and her team had executed all of our ideas and set up our decorations perfectly. We had so many little details for our wedding and she paid attention to every single one of them. She was the hardest working person on my wedding day, always running around, setting up everything and getting all of our events within our reception ready. She kept up with our timeline and made sure we hit every point. Kira constantly checked up on me and my husband. Before my grand entrance I even asked her to help me apply my lip liner because I did not have mirror and she was willingly did so.
  Having Kira as my coordinator truly made my wedding day stress free, gorgeous, fabulous, and fun. She made my wedding memorable. I will always be grateful for her hard work and professionalism.   Kira is amazing. She helped me with my son & daughter-in-law's wedding and I couldn't have done it with out her. She made every thing so much easier for me even with the few glitches (rain) that occurred! She is caring and professional, always available to chat when I needed advice or help!   Had an amazing time at the Shop Taste Dance Networking Event with the Sweetest Things Events. I was able to network with some amazing vendors. And the owner Clarissa did an awesome job of giving Tips and Planning Options for our brides! It really gave us a chance to meet other wedding vendors from Atlanta as well. Not to mention she surprised us with a Salsa Dancing class! Fabulous event with great food! And if you are in need of a Wedding Planner, I would definitely recommend Clarissa to you!
