I hired Sarah soon after I started the wedding planning process, and worked with her for around 1 year leading up to our wedding. From start to finish, working with the Sweet Sarabelle team was an absolute dream. Sarah is so kind and thoughtful, and is SO good at what she does! She made the wedding planning process much more enjoyable for myself and my family. She was respectful of our time and budget goals, and was always quick to get back to me with all of my questions along the way. Our wedding would not have been the same without her and I cannot recommend Sweet Sarabelle enough, she is the best! -

I originally booked Sweet Sarabelle’s day-of-coordinating services for a a 2020 wedding, which was delayed twice due to Covid. My husband and I ended up getting married at a courthouse and having a reception in 2022. We worked with Sarah and Tiffany, and we cannot praise their services enough. First, Sarah helped guide me when I was picking out the decor, and thanks to her input, our reception was gorgeous. Second, We got thrown a million curveballs during our wedding week, including my husband’s positive Covid test days before the reception. Sarah and Tiffany didn’t bat an eye- they flexibly adjusted our plans so he could Zoom into his own reception and even helped me arrange an impromptu walk to his hotel, where we were able to make sure he got a plate and a slice of cake from a safe distance. Every second of the day went smoothly, and this was just with day of coordination, which isn’t even the most intensive service she offers! Your wedding needs Sweet Sarabelle- ours sure did! -

Knowing Sarah for over half my life I knew she would be one of the first people I called once my boyfriend, now husband, proposed! There was never a doubt in my mind that Sarah and her whole crew at Sweet SaraBelle would be the perfect people to help make my dream wedding a reality. We got engaged March 20th 2020, while the world was shutting down around us due to the pandemic, this did not stop Sarah from helping us begin to plan our dream wedding. Zoom meetings began, thanks Covid, and Sarah knew all of the right questions to ask and where to start, when I would of had no idea. She asked all the right questions, Did I care more about the experience or aesthetic, how many guest are we thinking, location, all of the things. From the day I got engaged to the day I walked down the aisle Sarah didn't miss a beat. She listened to what we wanted and never pushed her opinion on to us but always made sure we understood all sides to make the best decisions possible for us. From zoom meetings, to virtual venue tours, masked meetings and finally our wedding in October of 2021 with 250 guests, Sarah was always there to calm the anxiety and make sure it was a fun and stess free experience. Our wedding had everything we could of ever imagined and I would be lying if I said I didn't watch our wedding video and look through our wedding photos everyday wanting to relive it because of everything Sarah made possible. I would recommend Sweet SaraBelle to anyone and everyone who asked! You will not regret hiring them but you may regret not having them as a part of your special day. They are worth every cent! We love you and will forever be grateful for you, everything you did for us and making our wedding the BEST WEDDING EVER! -

When I was initially planning our wedding date, I spent countless hours trying to decide the perfect date for our family and friends in 2020. I planned out all of our considerations: weather, local events, etc. I ended up choosing April 25, 2020 as our perfect date - and chose to work with Sweet Sarabelle (Sarah Shumay and team), during this process. From a wedding planning perspective, Sarah's team is exceptional. Sarah and her team are absolutely amazing, and work with couples on every single detail - they help you understand all of your options, make fantastic recommendations, and help you make decisions based on your priorities. Everything is personalized for the couple, and they truly are invested in the outcome of your special day. They help couples truly prioritize, and understand how to most effectively plan the biggest day of our lives. Due to COVID-19, our wedding is not taking place on April 25th as originally planned -- however, I can speak to the tremendous amount of support my fiancé and I have received from Sarah and the rest of the team during this uncertain time. As developments with COVID-19 continued to unfold, Sarah shared her experience within the industry, helped keep us calm, and present us with rescheduling and coordination options for later in the year. She proactively worked with all of our established vendors to help us secure a new wedding date. This experience is truly unprecedented -- and Sarah and her team have gone far above and beyond our expectations of our original agreement. She has truly been there to support us, and continues to do so, by offering us additional resources as needed. When I began planning our wedding, I chose to work with Sweet Sarabelle because of their great reviews --- and, as someone who has truly experienced some chaos during this COVID-19 wedding reschedule, I am happy to share my experience with anyone who is considering their services. We could not have asked for a more fantastic wedding planner during this transition. For a bride, it is so important to be able to count on your vendors. Sarah and her team are, truly, the best vendor, and the greatest support system, we could have asked for during this time. -

I really don't even know where to start. Sarah, Morgan, Tiffany were instrumental in our wedding. We decided to go with a day of coordinator, but SweetSaraBelle was still SO involved in every step of the way. They would send me updates and reminders throughout the wedding planning process and helped me narrow down a few vendors in our budget. Since we did the day of coordinator, we had all DIY decor. I just took pictures and left detailed notes of how I wanted everything set up and the SSB team did the rest. I'm not going to lie, I was a little nervous handing over my baby. I had worked so hard and so long on everything. When I stepped into the venue on the day of wedding I literally started crying. They did PERFECT on setting everything up and really made my vision come to life without me even being there. Throughout out the whole day our day of coordinator, Morgan, was so attentive and on point. I cannot say enough amazing things about her. She was ON it. She made sure to keep us on our timeline and checked in with us throughout the day. I really and truly don't think I can say enough amazing things about SSB. They made us feel so comfortable and they were more than accommodating. The knowledge that Sarah has is unbelievable. She knows everything! Not only is she super knowledgeable, but she's also the sweetest person alive. The entire wedding planning process I felt so at ease because I knew if I ever had any questions, then I could reach out to Sara. She was always so responsive and willing to help. SSB went above and beyond to make our day PERFECT. And I only had a day of coordinator, I couldn't imagine the full service! Looking back, I wish I would have gone with the full service just because of how hands on Sarah and her team were. Sarah, Morgan, & Tiffany - thank you so much for making our day just perfect. We really couldn't have dreamt of a better day and a better group of women to help us make our vision come to life. I will be recommending everyone to SweetSaraBelle! -

Hiring Sweet SaraBelle was by far our best decision when planning our wedding. We met Sarah when touring our venue, Chatham Station, and instantly knew she would be key in bringing our vision to life in that space. Sarah is kind, organized, professional, and SO much fun to work with. She is incredibly reliable and made our engagement and wedding planning process so enjoyable. We were continually blown away by her vendor recommendations and attention to detail. We did full service planning and highly recommend it! On the day of our wedding Sarah and her team were a blast and so attentive and exceeded all our expectations and we were able to fully enjoy our day with loved ones. Our families and bridal parties gave us so many compliments on them as well! We can't say enough good things about Sarah and her team, our wedding was perfect because of them and for that we are so thankful!! -

The BEST Wedding Decision - HIGHLY Recommend!
I cannot say enough fantastic things about Sarah! From a bride who was disinterested in planning a wedding, when I arrived at the venue on wedding day Sarah had somehow taken the (minimal) opinions and ideas we had provided and created our perfect day. From decor to food to service to making sure we were happy all day, Sarah and her team went above an beyond. At meetings where we were overwhelmed or neutral, Sarah was somehow able to help guide us to options that we loved. Sarah helped not only plan the physical aspects of our wedding (food, decor, etc), but also prepared us emotionally to make sure we would enjoy every moment of our day without any worries or concerns! Literally, every detail from florals, the ceremony arch, the place settings, EVERYTHING was beautiful. When I saw how our centerpieces and floral arrangements turned out I was shocked at how beautiful greenery and neutral florals could be! Sarah’s team hustled every minute of our day - setting up, making sure we always had drinks in our hands, corralling family for photos, organizing vendors, and even taking care of a few guests who had a little too much fun. Sarah was always available for questions, up for any ideas and flexible for meeting times and locations. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to write enough thank you notes to Sarah for everything she did for our wedding. -

Jessie Sent on 01/04/2017Hiring Sarah as our wedding planner was, by far and away, the best money we spent on our wedding! We were originally hesitant about hiring a planner, but with both of our families out of state and with so much to do, we knew we needed to bring in professional help. Sarah's prices were extremely reasonable and her services included so much more than other planners we interviewed! We ended up spending almost nothing on extra decorations since Sarah had such an awesome inventory of decorations to choose from, and we spent way less on flowers than we would have if we had hired a florist since she arranged them all for us.
I can't even count how many times she saved the day - from when our catering contract came in at twice (!!) what we were originally quoted and within hours she had gotten our non-refundable deposit back and helped us find an incredible, affordable caterer and sent us the contract; to when I texted her the week before the wedding saying I had seen a backdrop curtain made from carnations that I was in love with and she said she and her assistants could absolutely whip that up; to when I texted her at 10:30 the night before our wedding saying I had completely forgotten to make the signs I had planned for the wedding, and she texted me back and said no problem, her calligrapher on staff would take care of it; to when the entire hem on my dress unravelled during my first look and she had her assistant grab some white duck tape and quickly tape the hem back up before the ceremony (it stayed all night!) - no problem was too big for her to solve!
Sarah helped us pull off the wedding of our dreams, and we absolutely could not have done it without her and her amazing team. Thank you Sarah!!! -

Kathleen Sent on 11/11/2014My husband and I were very thrilled by the service that Sarah provided for us. She helped us a lot with gathering information about linens, dishes, and rentals. She also helped a lot with the day of wedding coordination. Sarah and her team did a fantastic job of keeping the wedding going. One of the best wedding planners around for the price.
