We LOVED the cake that Sonja made for us. We got endless compliments at our wedding not only because the cake was gorgeous, but it was delicious too!!! We had two tiers of vanilla cake with strawberry jam filling, one tier of chocolate cake with salted caramel, and two beautiful decorated dummy tiers. The whole experience with Sonja was amazing and fun. We didn't really have a specific design in mind but she took all of our random and scattered ideas and made the perfect cake for us. We couldn't believe the sugar flowers she made for us! The ones she made for us were flawless and amazing and something we can keep forever. Thanks Sonja! If we ever get the chance, we will be using you again :) -

What a beautiful 60th Birthday cake! My father-in-law loved the intricately crafted fishing elements and kept them as memento. He has loved fishing his whole life and this cake was the pinnacle of the celebration. Not only was it skillfully decorated, but the chocolate cake with slated caramel was heavenly. Thank you Sweet and Swanky for such a job well done. -

I called Sonja for my son 15th birthday to see if she could make me a cake I had seen on cake boss. My son loves loves candy . So I asked her if she could make my son a candy cake for his birthday. I told her what I wanted and when I picked it up it was the most amazing cake I had ever seen. The smile I seen on my son face when he seen his cake was worth every pennie I spent. My joy in life is to make my kid's so happy and that was perfect. Everyone that came all 20 people loved it. Thank u of again Sonja you are the best. I'm using her for all 3 of my kids birthday for mow on. -

The cake for my retirement party was a Louis Vuitton purse! It was so real looking that when I walked in the room I picked up the handles thinking it was my retirement gift! Not only was it a perfect rendition of a LV but it was absolutely delicious. This girl is an artist and a pastry chef! Linda Stelle -

If you live anywhere near Central Oregon and you ever need a cake for anything, Sweet and Swanky Cakes is the only business you should consider for your cake needs. Sonja proves that when you mix the right baking ingredients with incredible talent and heart and a true passion for wowing people with cake, you not only get the best looking and tasting cake, but an amazing experience as well. We felt so "taken care of" by Sonja. She created a masterpiece for us and no one at our wedding could stop talking about how delicious our cake was--right down to the fondant. When was the last time you enjoyed eating fondant on cake? Thank you, Sonja, for adding such glamour and taste to our special day. We are lifelong fans! -

"I would like to write a review of Sweet and Swanky Cakes. First off I have had the opportunity to taste all of her creations thus far. I also had a cake made for me for my birthday. AMAZING! That is the best word I can come up with that describes both the taste of the cake and the design. Actually the taste is beyond words! I have been amazed at how Sonja can take an idea from someone's head and build a wonderful piece of art. Truly remarkable! I would recommend Sweet and Swanky Cakes for any occasion! Thank you Sonja! Sonja made a FABULOUS cake for my baby gender reveal party (a 50 person party where we found out the gender of our upcoming baby!). I just gave her the colors and some images and she had complete freedom to create! Her artistry was clean and drawing detail so beautiful. She handmade the cake toppers to match the theme and was my favorite part of the cake! On top of the design, the taste was amazing! Thanks Sonja! -

We have had several birthday cakes done by Sonja, for our daughters, and they have all been absolutely amazing! She is always such a joy to work with and has impressed us with each and every cake. Not only are her cakes beautiful but they are absolutely delicious as well. I really can not say enough good things about Sonja and about our experiences working with Sweet & Swanky. I know that we will continue to call on her year after year. The cake you created was such a masterpiece, I was astounded when I laid eyes on it for the first time!!!! It was such a beautiful resemblance of my wedding dress, so graceful, elegant and sensual. Cutting into it broke my heart.
Thank you for all the hours of love, emotion and hard work you put into our wedding cake to surpass all we imagined and more. When seeing the emotion and excitement on your face as you delivered our cake, an overwhelming feeling passed over me. I realized that this beautiful creation was now part of the three of us, you, Danny and me all wrapped up in fondant, connecting us forever on our special day. I will never forget that special moment. Thank you Sonja for being a part of the magic!!!! -

Our wedding cake was exactly what I wanted even though I didn't know what I wanted. My flowers were white green and brown orchids and my colors were metallic . I found a picture of a cake with leopard print and knew I wanted to incorporate the print on my cake . I found out later that leopard print was a first for Sonja . She nailed it! She also hand made a beautiful orchid made of confit. Not only was the cake simply elegant but it tasted great. I knew from the moment I met Sonja , I trusted her talent and ideas.
Thanks Sonja , you are an amazing cake artist! -

When searching for a cake designer for my summer wedding in Central Oregon, I initially struggled to find a company that I believed could create the rustic chic wedding cake I dreamed of having. However, upon meeting Sonja, I felt instantly comforted that she not only understood my vision, but was beyond excited to make my dream cake a reality. As a wedding vendor, Sonja was a treat to work with. She took the initiative to make an appointment with the wedding coordinator of my venue to tour the space and to discuss logistics. I never had to worry that she would be in the right place at the right time. When it came to the big day, I was so excited to see the cake that Sonja had created for my husband and I. It is hard to describe in words just how beautiful this creation was. Sonja took every idea I gave her and turned it into masterpiece that was above and beyond anything I could have ever imagined. My “Sweet and Swanky” wedding cake is and will always be one of my favorite memories from my big day. I wish only the best for Sonja and cannot wait to work with her in the future. -

I had Sonja make my wedding cake. Not only was it delicious but the design was incredible. It was literally perfect. Not one flaw. She really captured the details that tied all of my decor and theme together. All of my guests and everyone that I have showed my wedding album to was completely amazed how awesome it looked. She did a lot of homework as to what kind of wedding I was having and the cake really represented my style. She even did little pearl buttons down the back like my dress had, lace like some decor, and hand painted detail that my invitations had. Not only was I extremely pleased about the flavor and design, but, I didn't have to worry at all about the delivery and set up. She brought it to my venue (on time) and got it all ready to be served. I highly recommend Sonja for a wedding, party, baby shower, etc. and look forward to doing business with her in the future.

Sonja of Sweet and Swanky Cakes created my wedding cakes for my Central Oregon wedding. Our theme was vintage elegance with a neutral color palate with a pink accent. I found Sonja through an online search since I am an out-of-town bride. Her beautiful website with fantastic cake photos initially drew me to her. When I reached out to her via email and received a prompt and energetic follow-up phone call I knew she was be a great vendor. I was having such a hard time getting responses from any other vendor I contacted that it was so refresher to hear back so quickly and with such enthusiasm. In our subsequent planning meetings (mostly phone and email and one face-to-face) her excitement really got me looking forward to seeing what she was going to create.
I chose to share with her my vision and inspiration and let her create something she felt fitting. I trusted her as an artist to make something beautiful and she came through. My 5 individual cakes had texture, ruffles, hand-painting and amazing flavor. Her sugar work to create flowers and acorns as my toppers and embellishment is unrivaled. I had a collection of 5 glass cake-stands to display the cakes and they looked gorgeous. My guests were amazed at her creations.
I would definitely recommend Sweet and Swanky to anyone who has a vision for a unique cake with great flavor. Sonja is certainly an artist who takes much pride in her work.

It was such an honor to have Sweet and Swanky Cakes design our daughter's wedding cake for her special day. It was absolutely the best wedding cake we've ever tasted! Sonja was a delight to work with, as she succeeded in designing the cake to fit our daughter's personality. Planning the wedding long distance was certainly a challenge, and we greatly appreciated her prompt emails and correspondence. -
