I used SunQuest for our wedding and this was totally worth it! Courtney was my wedding planner and I can not express how amazing she was! She hooked me up with an amazing DJ and recommended the company who did my hair and makeup. I gave her the idea I was going for and she totally nailed it! She was on my side through everything even when it came to my mom. She had our back during all the miscommunication with our wedding venue. The team for set up and tear down was super quick and officiant. There were some hiccups during the ceremony which I didn’t know about till days after. Everyone was so professional and my husband loved Courtney! She can literally work with anyone! So happy with everything and I couldn’t have asked for a better team! Thank you! -

Planning a destination wedding from afar can be terrifying, but SunQuest Beach Weddings made the entire process an absolute breeze. From our very first call, the stress I had been carrying completely vanished. They handled every logistical detail with such precision that by the time our big day arrived at Miramar Beach, all I had to do was show up in my gown and enjoy the moment.
The ceremony on the beach was breathtaking, and I have to mention the flowers, omg the flowers!—all my guests still can’t stop talking about the stunning florals they provided. The arrangements were fresh, vibrant, and perfectly matched my vision. The reception on the SOLARIS yacht was the real showstopper. The excellent food exceeded every expectation; it was a gourmet dining experience rather than "standard" wedding fare.
Having the planning, the floral design, and the entertainment managed by one team allowed me to actually be present. If you want a Florida beach wedding without the typical planning headaches, SunQuest is the gold standard. They turned my vision into a reality while I simply enjoyed the ride -

Welcome Party/Beach Bonfire and Wedding
The Sunquest Team created a wedding better than anything I could have imagined. Having most vendors in house and providing all-inclusive packages, I did not have to worry about all the logistical nightmares that can come with wedding planning. They use an online planning tool so that I could easily log into my account and fill out surveys, upload Pinterest pictures I liked, and scroll through pdfs of their decor/things they offer to aid in the planning process. For an out of state bride, they took all the stress out of it! Communication was easy and efficient. They planned and executed both my welcome party and wedding, and I did not have to worry about a thing - I was just able to enjoy my time with family and friends. You will absolutely be taken care of from start to finish if you choose them to assist in your wedding planning! -

10/07/2023 was the best day EVER thanks to our wonderful coordinators at Sunquest Beach weddings!
I didn’t think having a destination wedding could be this stress-free! All of the vendors they suggested were fantastic.
Special thanks to Brian for being so nice and making sure we had a great time at our bonfire rehearsal dinner, Emma for our beautiful ceremony, Courtney you did such a beautiful job with our reception and Josh, thank you so much for all the communication and being so excited each time we spoke. All of y’all are beautiful people and I hope y’all continue to make other couples as happy as y’all have made us!!!
It’s hard to put in words what the team did for us, we are truly grateful we got to work work them. I wish I could relive this day over and over!!! Everything was perfect and beautiful and I love how they made our dream wedding come to life! -

We booked Sunquest for our beach ceremony and boat reception in October 2021. Angela was our wedding planner and ceremony coordinator and Jeremy was our reception coordinator. It sounds cliche to say, but our wedding day was absolutely perfect: and it was all thanks to SunQuest and all of the hard work they did behind the scenes! We have absolutely no regrets about booking SunQuest for our wedding and would highly recommend it to anyone considering booking them. It will definitely be a wedding to remember!

We're local but didn't have a lot of time to plan a wedding between work and kids. SunQuest made planning our wedding very easy for us. We liked that we did not need to be in person to plan the details and trusted Kristi, our wedding planner, to take care of everything based on our inspiration photos and budget. On the day of the wedding, we simply showed up and enjoyed the day. Everything was beautiful and we cannot reccomend SunQuest enough to anyone planning a Destin wedding. -

Not even sure where to start! I am so grateful for the SunQuest team. From beginning to end, they executed so perfectly. They handled my extreme type A personality so well. I had a million and one requests and I never felt like I was a burden or being a pain - I just felt like I hired my friends! The day of my wedding when I walked on the boat and saw my vision come to life I was speechless. The flowers were unbelievable! Everything was absolutely perfect. Sunquest did an amazing job with our wedding planning. Everyone we worked with was friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Getting married out of State and in a pandemic, not easy but Sunquest made it feel easy! The decor, food, and planning was all exactly what we waned and very tasteful and delicious! We had several calls and emails to get it exactly what we wanted it to be. They had great ideas for us too. All around, I wouldn't have changed a thing with our planning and would highly recommend Sunquest! -

I cannot say enough good things about Sunquest and their team! My wedding was originally supposed to be in Riviera Maya Mexico from June 1st to June 8th but with the pandemic that came about we had to go through the whole process of canceling flights, our trip, and our dream wedding. With all hope lost we gave Sunquest a call and spoke with Kristi and told her our situation and she said getting a wedding together in 2 weeks is no problem. She handed us off to Julie who is an absolute angel to help us pull our special day together! We worked with her every day up until the wedding and she was amazing and helped us make our nightmare of a wedding turn into our dream wedding in Destin, Florida! We got to Destin and we met with Julie a few days before the wedding to go over some last-minute changes and make sure everything was good to go for the day of! The night before the wedding we thought everything was good to go until the groomsmen tried on their wedding attire and we absolutely hated the ties we bought for them. Again Julie came to my rescue. I texted her at 10:30 pm explaining what was going on and she said no problem and had the florist make a more colorful boutonniere for the groomsmen so they wouldn't have to wear a tie. Let me tell you it really came together and I absolutely loved everything about the girls and guys attire for the day of! Then came the wedding day and Julie dropped off the florals bright and early and I saw my bouquet and I fell in love immediately! All the florals we exactly what I envisioned! About 30 minutes before the ceremony the bridal party headed down to the beach and met Julie to do some last-minute rehearsal. Then my dad and I came out and it was showtime! The music, the lighting, the decor, the weather, the bridal party, everything was perfect. I couldn't believe we had pulled it off. And to make it even better some World War II planes flew over during our ceremony which was one of the collect things I have ever seen. If you are planning on having a wedding in Destin I highly recommend Sunquest! They were there for me when I thought I had nothing left to plan a wedding and they took care of everything and turned my nightmare wedding into my dream wedding!!SunQuest Beach Weddings's reply:

We just had our wedding on the beach on Okaloosa Island. Unfortunately, we didn't have the time or budget to come in to town and personally interview wedding coordinators or other vendors. After some research and a few phone calls, we decided to hire SunQuest to handle our ceremony, flowers, catering, and coordination. We were certainly nervous about putting the most important day of our lives in the hands of someone we have never met, but Kristi and Julie made us feel comfortable from day 1. Every request and question we had was promptly handled. Everything about the ceremony and reception was absolutely perfect and exactly as we imagined! We had a few little details we kept adding as we went and were very particular when we wanted certain songs to stop and start and which versions we wanted. I was just waiting for something to not be 100% perfect how we planned, but that never happened - it was truly amazing! We used their in house florist who perfectly recreated what we wanted based of pictures and descriptions. We used their DJ, who was a great singer and guitar player and really kept the party going. We used their catering (we had the grouper and short ribs) and everything was delicious. Our guests are still talking about how great the food was. Julie was there every step of the way and did an amazing job both before the wedding and also keeping everything on track the day of. We are so happy we hired SunQuest and will recommend them to anyone looking to get married in the panhandle area of Florida!SunQuest Beach Weddings's reply:

We chose Sunquest because we wanted to give our guests a unique experience and we are still so thrilled that we made that decision. The entire staff is so friendly and Julie, our assigned coordinator, was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond and I will forever be grateful to her for all of her hard work. We had our ceremony on the beach (through Sunquest) and our reception on the Solaris Yacht. All of it was memorable. Weeks later, our guests are still raving about how beautiful and fun the entire wedding was as well as how delicious the food was. We seriously could not be happier and I highly recommend anyone who is considering Solaris as an option to do it. I wish I could relive my perfect wedding day a hundred more times. -

I can not say enough good things about our experience with Sunquest. Being local, we had always heard great things about them, but they beyond exceeded our expectations. We chose to have our ceremony and reception on the Solaris Yacht. From the very beginning Kristi made the process very easy. We were then introduced to our wedding planner/event coordinator Julie who was AMAZING. Julie maintained constant communication with me during the whole planning period and even met with me in person on more than one occasion. She recommended great local vendors and had an answer to every question and a solution to every issue we encountered. The night before the wedding we had a super fun bonfire at the local beach organized by Kristi and Jeremy. When it came to the wedding day, Julie had everything organized to a tee. The venue was BEAUTIFUL, the DJ was great, and the staff was so kind and accommodating, and the food was wonderful. My guests haven't stopped raving about how fun the whole experience was. I truly could not have asked for a better wedding. -

This venue has horrible business practices. I would not reccomend them to anyone. My wedding was orignially scheduled for June 3 as a destination wedding for us and our friends & family. When COVID started, I was told that I could postpone or recieve my down payment as credit for a future event with Sunquest. Well, we went ahead & rescheduled to August 3. Things still were not looking good with COVID towards the end of May, so we made the decision to cancel indefinitely. Therefore, we asked Sunquest back for our $2300 that we had just paid, we never once asked them for the 50% deposit back. I was told that I OWED them additional money for breaking my contract. Well, that's funny considering I never signed a contract for August 3 just for June 3. I told them that their response was very disheartening and how it is sad that they cannot be bothered to work with me & my fiance. I was met with the most horrible customer service and hostility. Kristi Adkinson (the sales director) sent me a long, nasty message telling me that I have audacity to be talking to her the way I did & that no one else in their line of business would give me half the options they have given me. She also stated that I had a choice in cancelling my wedding. This doesn't make any sense considering the people nearest and dearest to us were unable to travel. Kristi had no idea the reason we ultimately decided to cancel. She made a hard decison for me even harder by lashing out the way she did. I get times are tough for everyone, but that was horrible customer service and she should not be in the customer service industry with that attitude. Not to mention, I am the one who emailed Sunquest to make our 2nd to final payment. Sunquest did not email or contact me.

This is a disappointing review to receive, especially after our team thoroughly enjoyed working with you to plan your wedding from beginning to end. When news of COVID-19 began to spread, our team stayed in constant communication regarding how local guidelines would affect your event. We were confident that Florida’s reopening plan would still allow for us to host your wedding on June 3, and when the time came, we were able to host your event to the full extent. You insisted that our team postpone your event. It was your decision to postpone your event, which we happily assisted with even though we were not required to do so. We also never pressured you to choose a new date right away, instead offering a credit for any kind of future event with our company. Again, something that other vendors would not be willing to do when we were able to host your event without restrictions. When you decided to reschedule your event for August, our team then backtracked to obtain new beach permits, readjust timelines, and coordinate with all your other vendors. We have written communication of this and you responded in writing to confirm the change of the date. You then reached out to our Director of Sales simply stating, “we have made the decision to cancel our wedding.” Our Director of Sales responded promptly, offering to waive the remaining balance even though you had now booked two highly sought-after dates that we would no longer be able to rebook when we could have executed the event on both of these dates.
