What impressed us the most was how artistic, emotional, and polished all of our wedding videos turned out. Made Our Wedding Day Feel Effortless and Beautiful
Summer St Films was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! From the very beginning they were incredibly professional, organized, and so easy to communicate with. On the day of, they were amazing at gently directing us when needed—helping with poses, giving tips, and making sure everything looked perfect—while somehow blending into the background so we could stay completely present.
Even though we’ve only received a handful of sneak peek photos so far, we are already blown away by how gorgeous they are. The colors, the candid moments, the emotion—they perfectly capture the energy of the day. I honestly don’t know how they managed to take so many shots during the reception (especially on the dance floor!) without us even noticing they were there.
If the sneak peeks are any indication, we cannot wait to see the full gallery. Summer St Films went above and beyond to make sure every special moment was captured, and we feel so lucky to have had them as our photographers. We truly can’t recommend them enough!

Weifan is an incredible photographer! From the very beginning, he was professional, responsive, and thoughtful, always offering great ideas to help us prepare. Before our wedding, he even visited our venue to scout the best photo locations, which gave us so much confidence going into the day. On the wedding day itself, he arrived early, shared helpful tips, and made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. The sneak peek photos are absolutely stunning, and we are so excited to see the rest of the gallery. As a couple who tends to feel a bit awkward in front of the camera, we really appreciated how naturally they guided us throughout the shoot. Everything felt smooth and professional from start to finish. They truly listened to our vision and captured the style we were looking for. The post-production process was also incredibly efficient—they provided updates within a couple of days and revised the edits until everything was perfect. We worked with Weifan for our engagement photoshoot and Weifan and Cassie both on the day of our wedding. Both of them were so personable and immediately helped us to feel at ease! From our first video consultation with Weifan, it seemed that he had a clear sense of our style/preferences as a couple, which made us excited to work with him. While shooting, both Weifan and Cassie provided us with helpful direction, but also allowed us to just interact naturally, which made for really beautiful, more authentic-looking photos of moments in our relationship, which is what we were looking for. They also went above and beyond in helping us to create a timeline for photos. We got so many compliments on our photos and couldn't be happier with the outcome. We would be happy to work with them again for another big event! -

My husband and I couldn't be more happy about the wedding/elopement photos we got from Weifan! Love the style, lighting, and design of the photos. I spent time exploring the style of photo I want and Weifan helped us to make it come true! Working with Weifan was incredibly easy and comfortable! My husband and I were super nervous and anxious about taking formal photos alongside the ceremony, but Weifan tried everything to make us comfortable and at ease. Weifan was also very engaging throughout the shoot and was very organized in guiding our guests and explaining what we should do/posture for the desired shot. Communication was excellent. I highly recommend the team for wedding/elopement photography! -

We had our ceremony a few days ago and had Wifi for our videographer. He was flexible as our timeline evolved. Professionalism and attention to details and capture everything! We are not camera conformtable couple lol but he made a relax atmosphere. Real moments that made our day unique. The final video felt like watching a beautiful, heartfelt story that really captured who we are as a couple.
If you’re looking for a videographer who’s talented, reliable, and truly passionate about creating a stunning, one-of-a-kind wedding video, I can’t recommend Wifi enough. -

We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of photographer for our city hall wedding! From start to finish, Wifi was professional, friendly, and incredibly talented. Not only does he know Boston inside and out, but he also knew all the best hidden spots around City Hall to make each shot unique and memorable. His knowledge of the city allowed us to capture photos that truly showcased Boston’s charm and made our day even more special.
Not only did he make us (note: super camera-shy couple) feel comfortable in front of the camera, but he also managed to keep things running smoothly, making it an stress-free experience. Our photographer Weifan has been extremely accomdating with our location & date requests, and even provided instructions to prepare ahead of the photoshoot. Based on our requests, the results are closly matching the results we were going for, and Weifan went above and beyond with the shooting process. Picking Cassie as my wedding photographer was one of the best decisions I ever made around my big day! I was attracted by her folio and style after viewing so many photographers in Boston and then made the decision to book her through our Zoom meeting. She is really good at telling stories and capturing moments. I was nervous at first which I assume a lot of us do on the wedding day, but Cassie made it really easy for me and my husband through creating an encouraging, light and easy vibe. We feel like we can laugh and dance and make fun however we want in front of her camera and that makes a great wedding photographer.
Cassie is also a very talented and professional photographer that is really passionate at her creation and work. She delivered almost 10 different settings for our 2 hour session and each is unique and remarkable. I'd say go over her folio and make sure you like her style, and eventually, you will fall in love with her artwork. -

Cassie is fantastic! She is a true artist and knows how to capture really amazing photographs. We had asked for a few specific photos which came out lovely, and she came prepared with additional ideas for poses that turned out to be some of our favorite photos of all! We had booked her for our engagement photos and wedding, which was really helpful because we met first for the engagement photos and she got a sense of us as a couple ahead of the wedding. Cassie really takes into account the whole personality of your wedding. She was also skilled at taking pictures without overcrowding—she got so many great candids and we don't remember seeing her. These photos are going to be on display for the rest of our life together and we're so happy that we hired Cassie to capture our wedding day. We recommend her wholeheartedly! -

Can’t pick a favorite!
We are so happy we booked with Cassie. She is direct and communicative and super easy to work with. We did our engagement shoot in the middle of a snow storm and she was like a cheerleader keeping us going!
Our wedding photos are just beyond. She delivered so many! Our wedding party complimented her to us both on the wedding day and once seeing the results. I’ve never had a tougher time picking out favorite photos! There were also a couple of photos that I asked Cassie to edit after the fact (a snowflake on my husband’s jacket and then a hanging ribbon poking out from my dress) and she did so immediately. -

I was planning an overseas wedding when I stumbled upon Cassie on WeddingWire. At the time I was still in Indonesia, while my (then) fiance was living at the States. We had a difficult time deciding which vendors to use for the wedding and were meticulous especially when it came to wedding photographers. However, Cassie’s work exceeded our expectatitons. Since our very first Zoom call, Cassie has been super friendly and helpful with our wedding planning. On the wedding day, not only did she arrive on time, she also was full of energy and creativity as she directed us on our photo sessions. We just received our wedding photos a few days ago and cannot help but go through them everyday. Cassie’s work is truly a masterpiece. Thank you Cassie! -

People say that a great vendor can really make wedding planning a breeze--and it's absolutely true. Cassie was phenomenal in every way. Her photography is truly unique and was perfect for our intimate (9 person!) fall wedding. From the beginning, it's been so easy to communicate with her--she's very fast at responding to emails and answering our questions. We had our wedding during one of the biggest wedding seasons due to Covid + backlog of rescheduled weddings, and never had to worry about not being able to get in touch with her.
But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Her photography is amazing, and frankly, speaks for itself, so I don't need to tell you how wonderful she is about capturing intimate moments. What you don't know is that she makes the photography FUN! My husband and I didn't have an engagement shoot so our wedding was the first time we've ever had a photoshoot. Needless to say, we were awkward as heck. Cassie solved that. She knows exactly how to pose a couple. My husband typically hates taking photos, but even he had a blast and couldn't stop commenting on how easy and fun the photoshoot was. We just got back our sneak peak photos and are absolutely over the moon with how they turned out.
If you're looking for someone who's incredibly professional, responsive, creates stunning photos, and makes it fun -- this is your gal. We're always going to look back on that photoshoot as one of the most enjoyable experiences on a stressful wedding day. For sure, we'll be recommending her to all our friends and future brides/grooms! -

Cassie took our engagement photos and I am absolutely astounded by how beautiful they are! She truly has an eye for excellent shots and angles. She was in frequent contact with us before the shoot, and gave great recommendations and pointers to get the best photos. Her pricing is very reasonable and she is flexible with her wedding packages. Even during the middle of wedding season, the turn around time for the photo edits was very quick. We are excited to have her on board as our photographer for our wedding reception! -

We spent a long time trying to look for a photographer for our elopement and have been struggling to find one that matches our style, but we made the decision immediately after we saw Cassie’s Instagram. She’s great at capturing intimate moments between couples and her usage of colors is amazing. She is super responsive and even delivered more than twice amount of photos included in the package. When my dog of 13 years was diagnosed with 2 types of terminal cancer, I knew that I needed to do capture our remaining time with him given he probably wouldn't make it to the wedding.
I am so glad that I found Cassie's services through the local FB bridal group. Not only was she very responsive but she also was super accommodating (we had to reschedule once due to my dog's chemotherapy appointment). Before we met, she gave recommendations on what to wear and sent pics of inspiration which I appreciated - since we needed some time to dig out some of these outfits! When she met us at the location, she was patient and understanding (it was like a friend was just taking our photos), which I appreciated.
She gave us tips on how to pose when I had asked for the pics to be captured more "action/candid." Chewie also loved her which helped since he followed her around during some of the more couple-y shots. When we ran out of time at the first shoot (because my fiance and I wanted so many shots during golden hour), Cassie improvised and found another spot that we wanted to go to capture the golden gate bridge. She did everything she can to make sure we got the perfect shot for our little family and we truly appreciated that.
In a few days, she sent us some sneak peek photos that all my friends and family raved about, which was definitely a good sign! When she delivered the photoalbum, I started tearing up given how well she captured our little family and the love we shared.
Overall, I would highly recommend Cassie due to her flexibility, eye for a good photo, professionalism, editing skills, and most of all, her passion and compassion for what she does. Good luck! -

Cassie is AMAZING!! When we first met Cassie, we knew she was meant to be our wedding photographer. As a Chinese couple, it was hard to find a wedding photographer who we could easily communicate with. Until we found Cassie. I love her style so much and on the wedding day she gave instructions so well on how to pose and arrange the group for photos. It was so stress-free and fun to work with her. Let me start by saying Cassie has a great eye & definitely has a skilled technique when it comes to taking beautiful photos. We got our sneak peak photos the day after the wedding & wedding photos back in 1 month, which was great. She is a very nice, caring, genuine person. Sadly, that was not enough to stop me from writing this review because I wish another bride before me had. My sincere hopes are that she sees this & grows from my feedback - I wish her the best in her career.
Cassie lacks authority. My now husband & I felt she could have given us more direction as far as how to pose, etc. We are a bit awkward & needed her to take charge and she did not; sadly I feel this showed through in many of our photos. She was also late on our wedding day, which caused us to not be able to get any detail/getting ready photos or go to our planned location for our first look photos. It is worth stating that she was very apologetic & stayed very late to try to make up for it. Not only was she late, but it seemed she didn’t put any time or thought into where we’d take photos at the hotel (which was always the plan for photos after the first look for family & wedding party photos). My bridesmaids had to run around trying to find spots for us to take photos & I felt this was very disappointing & unprofessional. My wedding coordinator reached out to her prior to the wedding to offer her a tour & give some tips of where to take photos but she declined. I had typed up a detailed list of each group of people we wanted to get photos of and given it to Cassie about a month before the wedding. Thank goodness I also shared this list with my matron of honor, because when it came time to take family/wedding party portraits, my MOH had to call off the names on the list & direct the group because Cassie did not. Had my MOH not done that, we likely would have missed out on many of the photos we wanted after already missing out on so much.
I thought for a long time about whether I was going to write this review. I finally decided to do so because when I think back to my wedding day, I can’t say that it was perfect. Although we had a beautiful day despite this, we paid a lot of money to capture these lovely memories & sadly when I look at our photos my first thought is of me fighting back tears (not happy ones) while taking photos in front of a wall on a crowded patio instead of on a coastal cliff overlooking the beautiful ocean as I’d planned & dreamed.
