The Best Investment
Melissa helped keep me calm and collected on my wedding day! I am beyond happy that I found her and was able to have her as my day of coordinator. Rockstar Wedding Planning
I will be singing Melissa's praises for the rest of my days. She was attentive from the start, found the BEST vendors and helped me every step of the way with planning one of the best days of my life. Katie was amazing! I hired her as my day of coordinator but she was more like my year of coordinator. Katie always responded very quickly to my emails and gave me SO many great recommendations for rehearsal dinner spots, invitations, layouts, you name it! She also made my wedding day so smooth and made sure everything was running on time! She was an absolute pleasure to work with! -

Melissa made our wedding a dream!
We found Melissa at the very early stages of our wedding planning when we realized that our event would be more DIY (neither venue had a day of coordinator). Melissa's prices and packages are reasonable, and we loved her tagline “You do this once, we do this everyday.” That expertise sure does show!
Melissa helped us every step of the way—from budgeting to checklists. She answered all of our questions (some I’m sure were quite particular!) and communicated with our vendors with requests, etc. It’s hard to think of something Melissa *didn’t* help us with.
Unfortunately, our original wedding date was postponed a year due to the pandemic. Melissa took this with stride and contacted all of our vendor for us, and figured out the new timeline.
I’m still in awe of how smoothly everything went on our wedding day. It was a seamless day of our dreams. We couldn’t have done it without Melissa and her team!
We recommend Melissa to anyone who needs help figuring out their big day—she’ll be there with expertise and grace, no doubt. -

One of the Best Choices I Made!
Hiring Stylish Occasions for my Day of Coordinator was truly one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day! Kelly and Skye were absolutely incredible and made my day so easy. I didn't have to worry about a thing from my vendors to the decor, they handled everything with such ease and professionalism. Kelly created a seamless timeline and stuck to it perfectly and at the end of the night all of my decor was packed up and ready to go without me even having to ask. They were also two of the most kind and fun people to have on your wedding day! I truly cannot recommend them enough! -

Fantastic Coordinator!
Katie was fantastic to work with! She was so helpful leading up to the wedding. She helped provide vendor recommendations, put together a timeline, and confirmed vendors and details the week of.
I don't know what we would have done without her on the day of the wedding. The venue required us to hire a day of coordinator, which I originally thought was unnecessary, but I was completely wrong. Katie took care of all the details. She organized the other vendors, worked with the photographer, helped smooth things over when the officiant got caught in traffic, and even helped with decorating and cleanup. She exceeded expectations at every turn! -

Wedding Planners are a Must
We started the wedding planning process not realizing how much value a wedding planner adds to the ease of planning and flow of the wedding. However, Kelly and Skye were very helpful and nice to work with behind the scenes and on our wedding day. They brought up details that we did not consider and were extremely organized which helped us ensure that all of our blocks were checked on the day of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, my hairstylist didn't show up on time, and Stylish Ocassions' day of emergency kit helped my make-up artist do my bridal party's hair. They also cleaned up as the wedding progressed and packed our car at the end of the night so clean-up was minimal and easy. You could tell that they were genuinely sharing our excitement with us which spoke volumes to how much they cared about our day. We would recommend Stylish Occasions to any couple looking for a wedding planner. The wedding planner was one of our most valuable vendors. -

The Absolute Best!!!
Simply put, we could not have pulled our big day together (twice) without Melissa! From our very first meeting in September 2019 to our Wedding 2.0 on October 10, 2021 (post-COVID reception), we knew we were in good hands. She kept us calm, organized, involved, and having fun, especially on our big day! From recommending and helping us book vendors, managing our budget, answering our questions, and making suggestions based on her experience, she made what can be a very stressful time, especially with COVID rescheduling, enjoyable. Most importantly, on the day of our reception, Melissia made everything run perfectly with very little input from us - allowing us to enjoy the day and our guests! She even ran to the store two hours before our ceremony to grab a cake topper after we left ours at home out of state. Melissa, we are so incredibly grateful to have had you with us along this journey and for your amazing kindness and talent. Anyone would be lucky to work with you, and we certainly recommend they do! -

Doesn’t get better than Stylish O!
Stylish Occasions absolutely exceeded our expectations. We worked directly with Melissa for our original date in July 2020 through to our COVID make up date in July 2021. When we had to postpone, Melissa handled all of the back & forth with our venue and made the process as seamless and stress free as possible for such a stress inducing decision. She was amazing every step of the way. Then, our day was finally here and Melissa bent over backwards to make sure the day was all we ever dreamed. It rained on and off that day, and Melissa and The Farm at Eagles Ridge worked tirelessly to make sure we still had our outside ceremony. They dried chairs repeatedly with towels and I think even leaf blowers! She helped guide any changes that needed to be made while still following our vision. She made sure we were happy and stress free all day, and remained organized and full of smiles! THANK YOU to Melissa and Stylish O. RUN, don’t walk to book! -

Melissa and her team were absolutely amazing! We had to reschedule a bunch of times due to the pandemic- but Melissa was always very understanding and flexible. Leading up to the event she was always just a phone call or email away and was quick to respond. The perfect plan C wedding
No one would have ever planned for a pandemic to hit 3 weeks prior to our 4/4/20 wedding. When it did, I am beyond grateful I had Melissa! With so many unknowns, Melissa made all the calls, re booked a new date for July and we were good... until we all realized, this in fact would last longer then a few weeks. So again in June, Melissa made all the calls got the entire crew set for October. I can't say enough good things about Melissa. She's calm, kind, and organized. I got so used to saying "I don't know, ask Melissa" the weeks leading up to my wedding that when the wedding was over, I realized I was back to handling my life without Melissa.. and it was hard haha. We hired Katie from Stylish Occasions for our wedding and she was AMAZING!! She took care of keeping in contact with all of my vendors, creating the day of timeline, doing the rehearsal, and decorating on the wedding day and helping with the tear down. She even brought us a plate of hors d'oeuvres while we were taking pictures so we weren't starving! I was not stressed or worried at all on my wedding day because I knew everything was handled. If you're on the fence about having a wedding coordinator, I'm here to tell you that it is SO worth it. Wedding Coordinators are a must!
Oct 12, 2020. My daughters "covid style" wedding. We hired Ally Whiteside from Stylish Occasions as our coordinator and thank goodness we did. No matter how much you think you can plan a wedding yourself - do not attempt it! I'm so used to coordinating large fundraisers but when it comes to your daughters wedding trust in an event planner. Ally was with us every step of the way. With the challenges of weather (our event was outside) covid protocols and a large venue Ally covered all the areas. She even brought her husband to help out. He was so helpful with all the packing up at the end of the night and all the tear down of floral arrangements mounted high up on chandeliers and doorways. They were both cordial with our guests, attentive to the bride and groom and cognizant of everything that is going on around them. Ally prepares a timeline and really strived to adhere to it by keeping the party flowing while still staying flexible for anything that got thrown her way. Even though I have one daughter I would never hesitate to use her again if I had to plan another wedding. -

Ally Whiteside with Stylish O was absolutely phenomenal! Life Saver!
I don’t know where to begin but my experience with Ally from Stylish Occasions was life saving & amazing. If it weren’t for Ally my wedding probably wouldn’t have even ever taken place and we would have just ended up at the JP. She was so patient & professional with all our changes & request. I gave Ally very little to go off of what I wanted but she knocked it out of the water. I told her we wanted a small romantic boho wedding and she saw to every detail and then some. Ally thought of things my mother and I would have never even known, and she coordinated everything for us so that we could actually enjoy our day. She felt part of our family by the end of our wedding and none of it would have been possible with her! Ally is very detail oriented, professional, and creative. Professional, Organized and an Absolute Pleasure to Work With!
Melissa and her team were amazing to work with! I had tons of questions leading up to the wedding being from out of town. Melissa helped with recommendations for transportation, rehearsal dinner options, officiant, etc. We used many of her recommendations, and everything turned out wonderfully!
Her team ensured our decorations were setup properly on the big day, all of our vendors were in order, and my husband and I got to sit back and enjoy in the moment without any stresses on our wedding day. She also took the time to help place my veil on and keep my bustle in tact throughout the entire reception. A++!

Best in the Business!
I wouldn’t have picked anyone other than Stylish Occasions to assist me with my wedding. Being an Event Planner myself, I knew I wouldn’t be able to relax without having someone to take care of everything while I was busy relaxing and enjoying my day. I had the privilege of working for Melissa for two years before I opened up my own company, so I wouldn’t have had anyone else be apart of my special day. She is one of the greatest people in the world and so good at her job. I could easily relax and trust that everything was going to be taken care of exactly how I wanted it to be because her attention to detail and management is so precise. If you ever question whether or not you need a planner the answer is YES! No hesitation! Hire Melissa at Stylish Occations. She is extremely competent and thorough, yet kind and down to earth. You feel like you are instantly friends with her the second you meet her. Best Money We Spent!!
Melissa was 100% the best money we spent on our wedding day. I am SO glad that we hired her!! I didn’t have to worry about a single thing the whole entire day. Melissa took care of set up, clean up and making sure our day ran smoothly. If there were any problems throughout the day, I am not aware of any of them!! Melissa & Hannah made my husband and I feel so comfortable and carefree the day of our wedding!! They confirmed all of our vendors and created a timeline for us! Excellent Wedding Coordinator
Stylish Occasions by far exceeded our expectations as our day of coordinator! Melissa was so easy to work with and willing to answer my endless questions all the way up to the day of our wedding. She had top notch recommendations for vendors and my questions were answered with genuine responses that went above and beyond. She thought of details that I never would have and made the wedding planning process so much less stressful! She truly made my wedding day so carefree by setting up all decorations, coordinating all vendors, directing bridal party and guests in right direction and keeping the celebration moving so smoothly. I truly cannot praise Melissa enough for how special she made our wedding day! -

We worked with Melissa as our day of coordinator for our wedding at the Farm at Eagles Ridge. Melissa was much more than just a day of coordinator. She helped us through the whole planning process whenever we had questions, helped to keep us organized, helped with emails to other vendors, and made sure everything was organized with the rehearsal/wedding well before the actual day. The day of ran so smoothly and I did not have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day(every brides dream). We definitely recommend Melissa if you are looking for a coordinator - she is the definition of organized! -

the best event planner
Melissa is the BEST! She planned our outdoor wedding in 3 months and it was perfect. She is really organized and prepared for everything. I had nothing to worry about and was able to enjoy the reception. Several of out guests commented that it was the best wedding they've been to. You can not go wrong hiring Melissa and her team. -

Our Renaissance Wedding Came True!
Melissa and her team at Stylish Occasions are true professionals! I felt so blessed in finding her on the web. My husband and I were living in Florida, but wanted a true Renaissance Wedding at the PA Renaissance Festival. Having Melissa was an absolute must in planning our wedding out of state. She got us in touch with all the right vendors and on the day of our wedding, her team ensured that we had a very magical day! I don't know what we would've done without them! Wedding Planners Save the Day!!
I was a single Mom of a 3 year old with a new career as a 7th grade teacher AND trying to plan a wedding in another state. I needed help. I called up Stylish Occassions and right away felt relief with Melissa's calm demeanor and assuredness that all of the above would would be accomplished. Phew! Relief ensued.
Here is the thank you email I recently sent to Melissa, owner of Stylish Occassions...
"Ladies, we cannot thank you enough for ALL the countless hours of hard work you put in to make our day seamless. A year of working together to make this happen and now... it feels complete. We have been told many times this weekend that we set the standard for a perfect, beautiful wedding and you both were a huge part in making that happen. I personally may feel a little lost without you both for a while. I may just check in without requests, just “hello’s.” 😊😊.
As you can see, both Melissa and Ally (who we were teamed up with for the actual day and was my "right-hand woman") exceeded our expectations. We're still hearing that it was the BEST wedding that they had ever been to and absolutely everything was so well planned and thought out. From the huge list of vendors, to contracts, to a baptism thrown into the rehearsal the night before the wedding, the church, the reception, even to the babysitter and hair frizz advice. They know it all and have a way of organizing it so that you don't feel overwhelmed.
These ladies know what they are doing . I genuinely miss them already :).

100% the best
Basically, Melissa is the best. I first got in contact with her 2 years before my wedding in a panic since I was planning from out of town and got overwhelmed and she easily calmed me down and assured me everything would be great- she was 100% right. She was there every step of the way during planning with budget help, suggesting vendors, keeping vendors & payment dates on track, and answering all of my questions, all the way down to my incredibly silly ones. The day of she and her two assistants were absolute stars. She kept us all running smoothly during the rehearsal & processional, and her assistants were there to help with anything I needed or had forgotten, and if anything went wrong I had absolutely no idea. She is seriously the most wonderful, and I'm so so glad I hired her to help me with my day! -

Attentive and detailed
Melissa was an amazing person to work with. She was very detailed in all matters, made suggestions based on her experience and did research for anything that was slightly linked to the wedding. Being a military couple with a recent move, her assistance was invaluable. She even ensured we planned for a lunch meal for the day of the wedding (a lot happening at once) and even found an incredible barber where my husband and sons made wonderful memories and had many laughs just getting ready for the wedding. I highly recommend her service; it will make the wedding easier to plan and relieve the added stress that comes along in the planning process. -

Best Money Spent!
Hiring Stylish Occasions and working with Melissa was the best decision we made during the wedding planning process. Our situation was maybe somewhat unique, meeting with Melissa only once, working with her entirely through email, and not having her the day of the wedding. Sure, she was responsive, patient, and understanding of the expected and unanticipated stresses that come along with the process, but what we really valued was her being our eyes and our ears for over a year- delivering a variety of options for venues, bands, tables and other miscellaneous wants, combing over contracts and interacting with the vendors behind the scenes and only alerting us if there was a problem or if the task was completed, and working jointly with the on-site coordinator. Her attentiveness and planning made our day run seamlessly - despite her not being there in person to coordinate. My advice would be to lose some of the expensive "extras" that nobody notices and hire Melissa at Stylish Occasions 😊 -

My daughter's wedding was at the Historic Acres of Hershey and found out somewhat late in the planning process we needed a day of event coordinator. We contacted Melissa and were very happy with how responsive and organized she was. We sincerely thank you for all your help from beginning to the end of the wedding reception. You are wonderful at your job, and on a day like a wedding, it really is so appreciated. We also appreciated all the decorating you did...the venue looked gorgeous! I know there were a few glitches with the ceremony placement issue (because of the unexpected weather earlier in the day) and the characters coming early, but you helped us work through that and everything worked out beautifully. We highly recommend Stylish Occasions! -

Ally Whiteside is amazing!!! She's extremely well organized and made everything so easy. I could write a novel on how wonderful working with Melissa has been, but I'll try to keep it short. From the beginning (about 15 months before our wedding), Melissa was helpful, super responsive, had great suggestions and gave advice on any topic we asked her about. I remember after the first month of working with her (and her great lists and questions for us to ask when visiting venues) my fiance and I said to each other that we already felt like we got our money's worth. Knowing she was always an e-mail away and just always "on it," made our wedding planning so stress-free. We didn't think we could love her any more, but where Melissa (and her assistant Hannah) truly shine is the day-of coordination she provided. Coordination doesn't even begin to describe it. She is somehow everywhere at all times and yet not at all "in the way." She helped my mom be able to relax and my mother-in-law decided she already wants to hire her for my sister-in-law's future wedding (she's not even engaged yet!). During the day, my mom asked Melissa "Can you be my life-coordinator?" She's just that good. She's sweet, kind and very patient. Spend the money on Stylish Occasions and you will be forever glad you did. -

Because of them we were able to sit back, relax, and 100% enjoy our perfect day. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them.
There were so many things my fiancé and I didn't know or couldn't agree on. We would always end on, "Let's ask Melissa." It was such a relief (and probably a marriage saver) knowing she would have the answer.

Melissa Martin is my lifesaver. Do yourself a favor, brides! There are no words to truly describe how much she helped me execute my dream day. She went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% happy with every element of the day down to the very last detail.
My venue required a day of coordinator, and she was truly more than that. Melissa was sort of like my fairy godmother (that I so desperately needed). I am an incredibly anxious person on any given day, and her planning and organization kept my mind at constant ease. I planned my wedding all alone, and she swooped in and saved the day! She was always in contact regarding deadlines and kept track of each and every vendor so I did not have to stress. I had to fire my makeup artist a month before my wedding, and she went above and beyond to find a trusted source.
Melissa is incredibly responsive, professional, accommodating, and willing to offer advice or a helping hand at any given moment of your wedding planning. I was able to relax the morning of my wedding because she handled EVERYTHING. Every last detail. I didn't have to lift a finger. My family even commented on my level of calm (as I am NOT a calm person), and it is truly all thanks to Melissa and her talented team. She is incredibly passionate about her brides, and you can absolutely tell in the flawlessness (and sincerity) of her work.
She is an absolute expert at her job, and I cannot thank her enough for creating my perfect day. I am forever thankful to have you as a part of my wedding, Melissa! -

We hired Melissa Martin as a ‘day of’ planner for our daughter’s wedding.
The following day a friend asked me if I had a good time at the wedding and I realized that I had a wonderful time. I was totally a GUEST at our wedding and it's all thanks to Melissa. She took care of everything, so beautifully, inconspicuously managing all aspects of the behind the scenes. I can’t thank her enough for all her help and involvement.

Stylish Occasions was a life saver for me. When my husband needed to have unexpected surgery a week before the wedding, right when fall classes resumed, and the same week that we were supposed to move all of our furniture into our new house, I knew I wouldn't be able to do everything for the wedding myself. I AM SO HAPPY I HIRED ALLY. Probably the best decision of my life. Even one of my bridesmaids said "Your day of coordinator is bomb. She's so organized and on top of everything". Biggest relief ever. Ally was amazing - as soon as I booked her she sent me detailed questionnaires and thought of things that I never had. We emailed back and forth and she was so organized and I trusted her 100%. Day of, she did EVERYTHING. I don't know how one person can do so much, but she did it. She decorated, placed items where I wanted them, made things look beautiful, organized people, dismissed tables, discussed with vendors, did anything I asked of her, and checked in on Chris and I throughout the night. This is only an example of a few of the many things she did to save the day. I can't express my appreciation enough to Ally and Stylish Occasions for coming to my rescue with such short notice. You guys are AWESOME. I would recommend Ally to ANY couple, whether you're faced with unexpected surgeries a week before your wedding or not. Melissa is quite literally priceless. She was the first vendor I hired- within a day of getting engaged- because I knew I NEEDED (not wanted) her to be the one coordinating my wedding. Research, word-of-mouth, and reviews all proved to be more than true. Melissa communicates at lightning speed, is incredibly professional, and a wonderful help to finding the best vendors to make your day complete- and this was all BEFORE the wedding. In the days leading up to and on the actual day, she is the organization, point-of-contact, and level head for you when you can't be. We planned our wedding in Pennsylvania while living in California, both working full time, raising our 12 year old daughter and having a baby boy. We knew we needed a great planner and all of his/her services to ever make it to the beautiful wedding day we always dreamed of! We chose Melissa at Stylish Occasions to help with all aspects of our planning, from venue to flowers, food, decor, and day of coordination. It was hands down the BEST decision we made. She offered an excellent variety of packages for us to choose from, took time to learn our style, provided us an amazing planning timeline and budget to keep us organized, and recommended every single amazing vendor we worked with (she has so many connections!). She coordinated all of our calls, meetings and contracts, answered all of our questions and advised us on every decision. Every little detail was handled perfectly. She was tough when she needed to be, paid attention to fine details of contracts, helped pick things up for us, visited locations for us when we couldn't be there, and answered my calls and emails quickly, really keeping my stress level low. Then there was the day of! Melissa and Beatrice were amazing! After booking my venue, I was in need of a day-of-coordinator to help me the day of the wedding. From the minute I contacted Stylish Occasions, Melissa was extremely helpful and responsive to my questions. Melissa immediately referred me to Katie who ended up being my day-of-coordinator. Throughout the wedding process, Katie was extremely insightful and offered many suggestions to ease my worries. The day of the wedding was absolutely flawless and could not have been so unbelievably smooth without Katie by my side. On a side note, I completely forgot to purchase my sparklers for my send-off, but Katie immediately took action and ran to the store! What could have been a stressful moment was immediately solved. I can not say enough good things about Katie, as well as Melissa checked in from time to time! Thank you for making the wedding of my dreams become such a success and a day I will never forget. -

Going into wedding planning I had no idea what I wanted and Melissa was truly the best resource I could have ever asked for. She suggested a venue that was not something I would have initially given a thought to and it ended up being my dream venue. And then helped me select the perfect vendors to match my vision. I fully trusted Melissa's opinion and feel that she really understood what I was going for, her suggestions were always spot on. Melissa was recommended by our venue, Farm at Eagles Ridge. She was extremely responsive (which is an understatement). Another perk was that she cc'd my Husband on everything which was great because he was very involved and other vendors would just include one of us. Melissa really went above and beyond with reviewing contracts, answering any questions we had, suggested vendors outside of our venue recommendations, and more. We probably wouldn't have gotten a videographer if she had not recommended an affordable option for us. She setup everything the day of the wedding which alleviated a lot of stress for us. We felt comfortable knowing she would coordinate with other vendors and she could follow up with other vendors that were not as responsive. She also made sure I got the group photo I wanted when I was on the fence since I didn't know how difficult/easy it would be. Overall, she was some of the best money we spent on the wedding. -

My hubby and I hired Katie from Stylish O. It was the best thing we could have done! If you want to enjoy your wedding day and not have to worry about the details or all the vendor communication then I highly recommend you hire a day of coordinator. Stylish O helped me think of things I hadn't thought of. She also made sure that we met and was there with us through the rehearsal and day of wedding. At one point my MOH cut her finger and I messaged Katie while we were trying to tie up my dress. Katie responded in seconds and came right away with a band aid. I would highly recommend Katie. She tool care of everything allowing my husband and I to enjoy our day with no worries. She even helped pack things up at night and put them in our vehicles. Perfect!!! Thank you Katie!!! -

We hired Melissa and her team to plan our wedding for fall 2017. She did an excellent job of recommending vendors, helping us choosing vendors, negotiating contracts, making a budget, creating a planning timeline and wedding day plan. She has a great relationship with vendors. They all seem to enjoy working with her. She is great at negotiating contracts - even got us free table rental at our venue when it was supposed to be extra. Many vendors give her a discount when you book through her. She is prompt and professional, always getting back to us quickly. Unfortunately our wedding has been cancelled. We feel very fortunate that we hired Melissa because she took care of contacting all the vendors and got us out of all our future payments. She said this was the first wedding that she ever had cancelled, but she handled it like a pro. We would highly recommend her services and definitely would hire her again. We used Melissa Martin's services as a day of coordinator in October of 2016 for our daughter's wedding. Our venue required us to have a day of coordinator (thank goodness!). Even in this capacity she helped us work with vendors and saved us money. Her insight and knowledge about wedding vendors is incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond setting up a family photo display and also retrieving the brides sneakers from her home when she realized she forgot them and needed comfortable shoes for the dance floor. She is excellent at negotiating contracts and was able to get two refunds for us from vendor that had some issues the day of the wedding (broken down limo and broken flowers - yes it was one of those days). She is extremely conscientious and goes above and beyond to make sure the bride and groom - and the rest of the family can enjoy the day. My only regret is that I did not use Melissa's expertise in the full capacity (only used as day of coordinator) - I think everything would have went more smoothly if we had hired her from the start and let her run the show. I would highly recommend her services! -

Where to begin! Immediately after booking our wedding venue, I contacted Melissa to see if she was available, after reading reviews online and recommendations from the venue. Melissa and Ally were my day of coordinators and they were both fantastic -- the evening went so smooth and I felt comfortable and stress free knowing the two of them were there to assist with any issues or questions. Melissa is professional, responsive and answered so many questions before our day. It really did seem like she had "seen it all" so no question went unanswered. Melissa and Ally were even on hand at our rehearsal to sub in for our officiant and walk us through the ceremony. I would highly recommend working with Melissa and her team - just wonderful. -

I'm so eternally grateful to the ladies at Stylish Occasions, especially Casey R and her assistant Gillian! Through out the entire process of planning from Texas—and even though they were just my Day-Of coordinators—they were more than happy to help with any questions and recommendations. I don't often write reviews, but I just wanted to say how happy my now wife and I were with Stylish O and specifically, Casey R. and her assistant Emily. They were so so much help leading up to the wedding day, confirming vendors and getting all our ducks in a row, ensuring nothing is being forgotten or overlooked. However, the day of the wedding was the best part. I am a planner and expected to be stressed on the day of the wedding, but Casey really made it stress free and enjoyable for me and my wife. She helped coordinate all the vendors, made sure everyone was sticking to the timeline, helped set up and decorate the venue, and probably lots and lots of other things behind the scenes that I didn't realize. All I know is that the entire day went on flawlessly and I was actually able to enjoy every minute of it knowing that Casey and her team was on top of everything. Very reasonably priced for all there services gained. To be honest I thought I was getting purely a "day of" planner, but Casey made the long drive to the venue several times leading up to the wedding, including the rehearsal, to get things organized, which put my mind at ease long before the wedding day. Outstanding! Highly recommend!!! Melissa was a lifesaver! We booked Melissa for a day-of coordinator and she did SO much more than just coordinate the day of! In the month leading up to our wedding day, she created a timeline for our wedding day, went with my husband and me to the final walk-through at our venue, and confirmed all of our vendors. And the following day, she even delivered our leftover centerpieces to the nursing home where my husband’s grandmother lives because we hated the idea of throwing away those beautiful flowers! Seriously, she was amazing. Melissa responded to my emails quickly and gave me several vendor referrals throughout the process. She was very professional, organized, and detail-oriented, and at the same time very sweet and relatable, giving me complete confidence that not only did she “get” me and my vision for our wedding day, but that she would make sure everything was perfect on the day of. When my daughter asked Melissa to be our wedding planner, based on many positive recommendations from her friends, I realized it was just what we needed; we were not planning a wedding in our home town. I did a little research and learned that Melissa had been a mortgage banker; to do that job well, she would need to be super organized, goal centered and focused on details. Melissa demonstrated these qualities throughout the wedding preparations and especially on the day of the wedding. She provided resources that included wedding venues, flowers, make-up artists, hairdressers, dress makers, lighting, catering, photographers, transportation, accommodation for out of town guests and venues for a rehearsal dinner and brunch the day following the wedding. My daughter and son-in-law had a very unique vision for their wedding; it needed to be casual, with great food, beer and games! Melissa facilitated the materialization of their dream wedding. She found the location that they chose that was delightful but it needed everything from dishes to lighting. On the day of the wedding, there were numerous vendors to coordinate, and, as the ceremony and rehearsal were in the same location, Melissa was responsible for moving furniture and games during the event too. The wedding day went off flawlessly. I attribute this largely to Melissa’s excellent attention to detail. In addition, Melissa’s calm demeanor, endless patience, genuine kindness, caring and concern served as a great comfort to us all. Thank you again, Melissa! -

With two daughters deciding to get married six weeks apart, I was in a panic. How could we possibly have two very different weddings (one at a venue and the other at home) and manage to make it wonderful for both couples? Melissa came to the rescue! First, she made sure that the two couples really took ownership of all the decision making, and sent plenty of reminders when anyone fell behind. Her knowledge of local vendors is unrivaled and we were able to make great choices for photographers, florists and caterers. It was so convenient to have someone other than the MOB be the go-to person for all the small and large issues that came up. This was particularly true the day of -- I was able to relax and really enjoy the moment at each wedding, knowing that all details of the ceremonies and receptions were attended to and that our guests were all being taken care of by Melissa and crew. Stylish Occasions is amazing! We used Melissa as our Day of Wedding Coordinator. We did not plan on using a day of coordinator but our wedding venue required it. I am so glad they did because Melissa was so helpful! Melissa met with us very early in the planning process and within minutes of sitting down with her, we knew that we wanted to work with her. She is outgoing, friendly, organized and prompt.
Here are some reasons our experience with Stylish O exceeded our expectations:
We really wanted our friend to marry us and Melissa recommended that we do a self uniting marriage. We did not know much about this type of ceremony but Melissa was quick to inform us. Melissa was very knowledgeable about the process and was very positive and encouraging about doing this type of wedding.
Throughout the planning process, I had a lot of questions. I e-mailed Melissa a lot! She was very quick to respond. When I struggled to find a photographer in our price range, Melissa knew exactly who to call. We ended up going with Melissa's recommendation and our pictures are beautiful!
I cannot rave enough about Melissa and her assistant, Sabrina, on the day of our wedding. Melissa and Sabrina arrived to the venue early and set up all of the decorations. When something I wanted done didn't look right, they came up with their own ideas and ran them by me before the wedding. Their ideas were amazing. I walked into my reception and everything was better than I imagined it to be.
Stylish Occasions really helped to make our wedding stay stress free and enjoyable. Every time I needed something, they were right there. When my dress was falling out of the bustle, Melissa was there with safety pins to fix it! I would absolutely recommend going with Stylish Occasions for your wedding planning/coordination needs. -

When my daughter told me she getting married 1,000 miles away from where I lived, I was excited and nervous simultaneously. She was my first daughter to get married and I did not know the ins and outs of wedding planning.
Initially my daughter thought she could handle all of it. I told her I believed that was a big mistake, especially because I wasn't there to help on a daily basis. We both agreed it would be beneficial if she hired a wedding planner.
In walked Katie Slauch and all of my worries evaporated. Katie was able to provide my daughter with advise and insight that was truly needed. My daughter had done a lot of the initial legwork but as the wedding drew closer, Katie took over more and more of the responsibilities so my daughter could instead focus on her big day.
I did not meet Katie until the wedding day. She did such a fantastic job with both the big picture and the smallest of details. My daughter got to enjoy the best day of her life and I in turn was able to be there to enjoy it too.
Katie was such a blessing for us. I hate to imagine what the wedding would have been like without her. -

Having watched many brides struggle to manage the small details and logistics on their wedding day with actually being a bride, I knew I wanted to have a day-of coordinator to help make my day run smoothly and be the main “go-to” person so my mother and/or I didn’t have to play that role. We found Melissa via online reviews and thought she would do an excellent job providing this support on the wedding day. What we didn’t expect was that she did so much more!
Melissa worked closely with me throughout the entire wedding process, but especially the weeks leading up to the big day in September. She handled coordinating all of our confirmations with vendors and working through a detailed timeline. I had underestimated the amount of time and back-and-forth that would take but Melissa took charge and was an absolute angel at taking that stress out of that part of the process! She also made suggestions that I had failed to consider when planning out a rough timeline. IN my opinion, she way over-delivered and was one of the best decisions we made when planning the wedding. Planning a wedding with the Bride and Groom overseas is a challenge in itself. Melissa was AMAZING. She just does it all. The woman has the patience of a saint. just don't even know how to begin this review...I knew in the months ahead of time that the engagement was going to take place. So I started to consider having a wedding planner throughout the entire process and did my research. In my decision making, it came down between Stylish O and another wedding planning company in the area. There were several things that really stood out to me about Stylish O over the other business, which were the following: 1) Melissa's experience in the industry and 2) the pricing. I really liked the fact that Stylish O offered packages, instead of just the ala carte, which could potentially add up very fast. Flash forward to the weekend after the engagement, my now-husband, my parents, and myself are meeting with Melissa for the first time. We were immediately impressed with her demeanor; she was very calm, organized, outgoing, and a phenomenal listener. During the next 13 months, she was extremely responsive, kept us in budget with itemized costs, met with us to tour potential venues/vendors, agreed to interface when I encountered a significant problem with a hired vendor for the remaining involved time, offered great suggestions when it came to the decor, and all with a smile on her face! She made all of our wedding dreams come true! She was present at the rehearsal. On the day of the wedding, things ran seamlessly and all because of her! She would run the flowers from the church to the reception venue, made sure that the marriage license was brought to the church after I forgot it, and was there to help tear down at the end of the night. In the days before the wedding, she drove to a nearby city to pick up a rented sign for us to use at the reception. If it was not for her expertise and care, I have no doubt that our wedding would have been significantly different. She there during every step of the planning process and every part of the wedding day. -

Melissa is simply fabulous!! Some would say we were crazy to hire a wedding planner for our small, intimate, second wedding. We'd say your foolish if you don't. We'd both been there did that the first time around, but being busy professionals there just was not enough time. Melissa got us to the alter in 5 months! We truly appreciated Melissa giving the time and attention to make our day special! She was with us from beginning of planning until the end of our celebration and we welcomed her every step of the way!! -

I am so grateful that Katie was our event planner!
My daughter and her husband planned a "renewal of vows" wedding celebration and we decided we needed guidance on how to orchestrate this event. Katie initially met with us and listened carefully (& took notes) to what my daughter and her husband wanted at their renewal celebration and reception. She knew this was going to be a "hybrid" event and carefully tailored the day to my daughter's liking. Katie was there the day of the event and did an excellent job of coordinating everything. We couldn't have done this without her! The event turned out great and we had nothing but compliments from our guests. She really was exceptional on planning the whole day and took all the "worry" out of how it was going to work out! It turned out to be a beautiful ceremony and successful event. -

We hired Melissa as our Day of Coordinator at the recommendation of our wedding venue--she was FANTASTIC! Melissa is professional, prompt in all communication, readily available, flexible and the picture of calm during the wedding. She goes above and beyond in providing vendor recommendations, scheduling the timeline, and navigating family members on the wedding day! As bride, it was so nice to turn everything over to her on the wedding day, so I could relax and enjoy the magic of the day! Melissa checked in with the me as the bride throughout the day making sure I was happy which was so nice! There were so many little bumps during the mechanics of the wedding day that Melissa just simply took care of and we never even heard about until after the wedding--it was great! Thanks to Melissa coordinating our vendor team we had the wedding of our dreams! Looking back our only regret is that we didn't just turn the ENTIRE wedding planning over to Melissa from the beginning--she is a credit to her profession! We highly recommend hiring Melissa to coordinate your wedding from start to finish! -

Melissa was my "day of coordinator", She, Katie, and Sabrina took my wedding ideas and creations and brought them to life! it was breathtaking and stunning and i cant thank them enough! Melissa is so kind and thoughtful and put up with all my emails and responded to me promptly and her suggestions were right on par with my ideas. I dont know what i would have done with out her and her team to put together my decorations and coordinate the day for me. I gave her my ideas and inspirations and i entrusted her and her awesome team to make everything perfect and it all came out even better than i imagined. I wish i could have taken it all home with me. Melissa is organized, helpful, kind, caring, professional and detail oriented and she made my day run so smoothly and literally with out any problems. Melissa became our wedding planner 2 years before our date. She was absolutely amazing through our long engagement up to our big day. My family, husband and I can't stop raving about her. She was always keeping us posted on our time line and budget. She was even more amazing during some hard times that hit our family and exciting times like moving about 4 states away from our venue only about 6 months before our wedding. Melissa was there for us during it all. We loved the venders she recommended and trusted her completely in making decisions for us like caters due to us being so far away. She made our wedding day! She would quickly respond to my messages during the planning process. For the rehearsal and wedding day, she kept everything in order (including a very helpful day of timeline). Having Melissa as our wedding planner was the one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. At the time, we were living in Harrisburg and getting married in Lancaster and had no idea what we were doing. We contacted a few wedding planners and knew that Melissa was the one we wanted to work with. She was so helpful and many times my husband and I would say, "Do you think Melissa would know, or let's just ask Melissa" and she always came through with an answer. She is quick to respond and very helpful when it comes to selecting other vendors. Her services went above and beyond before the day of the wedding. The day of the wedding, we would not have been able to do it without her. From setting up the reception site, to making sure the vendors were there, to calming our excited nerves, Melissa did it all. It was great to have her check in with us and help guide our event along. She was sweet, caring, and positive. Many couples often overlook the importance of a wedding planner at their event, but I HIGHLY suggest having Melissa. She is more than just a wedding planner. She helped our dreams come true. -

Hiring Melissa was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding. From the moment we booked her, she was always available, and provided great advice from where to go to rent audio equipment to how to deal with a difficult, non-responsive vendor. We had very few "musts" for our wedding, but one of them was to get a wedding coordinator so that our family and friends can enjoy themselves the day of our celebration. And they did, thanks to Melissa. A list of invaluable things she did for us:
- Hooked me up with a salon that had experience doing hair and makeup for women of color
- Created our wedding timeline and shared it with our vendors, including the caterer, photographer, videographer, officiant and ceremony musician
- Did a walkthrough of the venue with us to go over and confirm day-of details
- Ran our ceremony rehearsal
- Oversaw the flipping of our ceremony and reception space
- Set up decorations and wedding favors the day of the wedding
I know I am leaving out a lot, but I can't emphasize how much her experience and expertise contributed to the success of our wedding. It was a really fun day for all of us, and it wouldn't have been so without the extra help Melissa and her assistant provided.

Melissa and her team were absolutely amazing! I cannot even put in to words how much I appreciate everything they did to make our wedding day even more perfect than I ever imagined. They were there to be our Day of Coordinators, but they were so much more than that. Melissa checked in with me throughout my planning process (which I have to say if I could go back and change anything, it would have been to hire her as a planner not just day of). She made me feel so comfortable from our first meeting and was there for me until the very end of the night. They were so professional and supportive and brought a sense of calm that isn't always able to be achieved on your wedding day! They executed my vision for the reception space perfectly, down to every last crazy detail I had, and it was nothing short of spectacular! Everyone who spoke with Melissa, Jordyn or Sabrina that night kept telling me how great they were and I could not agree more. As someone who has experience planning events I was at first reluctant to hire a wedding planner. I opted instead to have a day-of coordinator so I could let someone else pull it all together. Well let me tell you ...BEST DECISION EVER. Melissa stepped in about a month before the wedding and by then I was so grateful and ready to hand over the reigns. She is so chill, organized and professional. She thinks about things that you never think about but are important to making the event a success. She's incredibly responsive and thoughtful. Come wedding week hurricane Joaquin was threatening both our outdoor rehearsal dinner and the outdoor ceremony. Melissa helped us find a new rehearsal space and completely rearranged the set up of wedding day on the spot. Not only were we able to be married outside but the reception set up was actually 18x better than I could have planned myself. Melissa and her assistants made it so successful. Everyone was commenting on what a beautiful, fun and smooth wedding it was. I have Melissa to thank for that. She is worth every penny and more! She knows many many local vendors and can call in favors at the last minute. If you invest in anything- invest in Stylish Occasions!! -

I would highly recommend Melissa to any bride! I booked a DIY wedding and I needed a lot of help coordinating vendors, setting up decorations and making tons of decisions. Melissa helped me through the whole thing! I was super indecisive and had no clue all the decisions I would need to make but she guided me through them all. I even had some trouble a few weeks before my wedding and had to switch venues. Melissa made it so easy! She coordinated with vendors, went on another walk through and helped to save the day! She talked me through my mini wedding day crisis (too windy to wear my veil :-( but made me feel better about it!) She even had deodorant on hand when I needed to freshen up during the reception lol She was amazing wedding support and emotional support throughout the day and I am so thankful that she was my day off coordinator -

I didn't think that a "day of coordinator" was necessary when I first was engaged, but I assure you that it absolutely is. Melissa was one of the first vendors I chose and we emailed back and forth for 18 months before my big day - she is prompt, reassuring, assists with etiquette, and sends emails periodically to just check in & make sure everything is okay. When you are really down to the wire of wedding planning, Melissa will become your best friend.
I met her on the big day with a smile on her face and she came fully equipped with an emergency bag. From pinning up my dress in the middle of the field, bringing drinks & food down during photos, fixing my matron of honor's hair at the last moment, helping my mother get her high heel out of an air vent she stepped into (true story), and setting the veil in my hair even though I had never done so before. Literally, she was able to provide assistance with everything. She is someone that you want contributing input, because when it gets to the day of your wedding, your mind will be all over the place.
These are the little things you will run into, and there are going to be moments that you just need assurance that the day is going well, guests are happy, and to keep everything running smoothly. I cannot commend Melissa and her team enough - she put in so much effort through emails and even visiting the wedding site when I couldn't make it there to take photos to send to me. -

Melissa and her team at Stylish Occasions were nothing short of phenomenal. I had not planned on getting a day-of wedding coordinator, and decided late in my planning to consider someone. While researching, I felt like it was a lot of money, but trust me when I say that it was the best money I spent on the wedding. Melissa and her team handled all the, quite frankly, annoying details, but they handled them with grace and ease, putting my mind completely at peace a month before the wedding, and ensuring an absolutely perfect wedding day.
Melissa and her team contacted all our vendors about a month before our wedding to confirm arrival times, logistics, and timelines. She also handled set-up for some of our decorations the day of our wedding, which meant I didn't have to do it, my Mom didn't have to do it, and my MIL didn't have to do it, which was so nice. I was able to truly enjoy my entire wedding weekend, stress free, because I knew Melissa was handling things.
Melissa is an expert in this field, and provided so many great recommendations along the way that I would never have thought of on my own. She was so pleasant to work with, and the rest of her team was equally as friendly. And she was so prompt (and patient) with every response, even when I sent her page-long emails or texts with tons of questions.
We had one snafu that was my fault with the caterer, and when Melissa came and asked me about it on our wedding day, we didn't have an immediate solution. BUT, she handled, everything worked out perfectly, and she never had me worried.
I enthusiastically recommend Melissa and her team at Stylish Occasions for day of wedding coordination services. You will be so thankful you worked with her!!

We hired Melissa as our day-of planner pretty early in the planning process, and it was a great choice. She was super-responsive in providing vendor recommendations throughout our planning, and was invaluable when it came to scheduling a walk-through, asking all the right questions and getting us through our wedding day at Lauxmont Farms without a problem (that I knew about!). In the last few weeks, we realized it would be great to have her stay later and help to pack up our centerpieces and some decor (since we'd DIYed it), and she made it easy to add a few more hours to the contract. She and her helpers were great and SO organized. My parents went back to pick everything up the next day and commented that it was great and way easier than they'd expected. We thought that she was well worth the price (and more!), and could not have added as many personal/DIY touches without her help. -

If we could give Melissa 6 stars we would. She is a life saver and went above and beyond our expectations. We booked Melissa soon after getting engaged and she was extremely helpful in recommending all of our vendors. She was also able to recommend vendors that were in our budget. Because they have all worked with Melissa previously you can be sure that they will have effective communication. She knows that they expect and will give advice to the couple. We booked Melissa for her day-of coordination package and she made sure everything went smoothly. She even saved us a plate of appetizers from the cocktail hour so we could enjoy a quiet moment together before we went to the reception. Melissa made the day of our wedding a stress-free affair. -

From helping to confirm our vendors ahead of time to ensuring everyone was where they needed to be the day of, she made sure our wedding day was flawless. Where to start? Melissa and her team are absolutely amazing. As a bride currently living in California, I was extremely nervous about hiring a wedding planner that I had never met. But, I can say with 100% confidence that selecting Melissa to be my wedding planner was the best decision I made throughout the entire wedding process.
I wouldn't say I am "difficult", but I know what I like and I tend to make decisions very last minute (hence why I'm writing this review months after my wedding - sorry Melissa!!). Neither of these less than ideal qualities flustered Melissa. She's very quick. She learned my style right away and was able to select the best vendors and give suggestions that would complement my specific vision. She understood my busy schedule and was able to manage my last minute requests and numerous meetings with my mom.
The list goes on about how thankful I am for Melissa, but I have to stress that the number one thing that I loved most about working with her was her calm demeanor. The last thing a bride needs on her special day is a wedding planner who is all over the place and stressed out. Melissa handled everything with ease, showing not a single ounce of worry. Because she was prepared and quick on her feet, I was able to put my full attention on enjoying my night with my husband, friends, and family. That is something that you can't put a price on.
