Marcella is the sweetest hair stylist with the talent to match!
Marcella is such a high-energy, bubbly personality, and she made all of my girls look absolutely wonderful across a number of diverse hair styles. Of note, I did a trial with Marcella in August 2024 but I had a number of notes by the end of the day. The day of the wedding in October 2024, Marcella was able to update my look based on my feedback to really make me feel like the most beautiful and bridal version of me (and she even cut my face framing pieces day-of to perfect the look). She also spent a ton of time with my mom (i.e. giving her 3 different hairstyles) and was so patient and accommodating in making sure my mom felt like her most beautiful self. My hair stayed all day (even being on the dance floor the entire time) without the need for any touchups. I would easily use Marcella again in a heartbeat!

I highly, highly recommend working with Marcella! She did such a beautiful job on my hair, and she was also just a delight to be around on the wedding morning. We did a trial, which I recommend, if only to hang out with Marcella more! Seriously, she is a hair wizard and so sweet. If I lived locally, I would go to her for all of my hair needs.
(Also, she threw some product in my husband’s hair that kept it tame all day, so if you have a husband with an unruly mop, she’s got you covered on that front, too!) -

Amazing talent and the kindest heart!
Do not hesitate and book Marcella for your wedding day hair and make-up ASAP! She is extremely talented and in addition the sweetest human being I ever met. After seeing her beautiful work on instagram and countless 5 star reviews, I reached out to see if she was available for my wedding. After talking to her on the phone, I knew she was meant to be apart of my wedding day and booked her instantly (with no trial or any personal recs) and it was one of the best decisions I made! She has the kindest heart and within minutes of meeting her, you feel as you have been besties for years. She not only does hair and make-up but becomes your go-to wedding day therapist!! Leading up to the wedding, she was so flexible with day of time changes and had such patience with me coordinating all logistics! She brought such amazing energy on wedding morning and become the official hype woman for all my girls. All my bridesmaids and both my mom and MIL loved her as well! I appreciated that she returned on wedding day to do touch ups to make sure everyone kept feeling beautiful all day long. Without a doubt, I would a million percent recommend Marcella to everyone! Between her personality, her crazy talent for both hair and make-up, and her reasonable prices.... it is a no brainer! -

Marcella was an absolute pleasure to work with! We had a major snowstorm hit New York and unfortunately had to postpone our wedding to the next day. Marcella answered right away and was onboard throughout the entire process. , which definitely put my mind at ease! My hair was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! She brought my vision of a low ponytail to life and it stayed the ENTIRE night. Everyone in my bridal party raved about their hair and loved it! She was organized the entire day and was always updating me on time schedule. She did not rush through anyone's hair and paid attention to detail for each and every person. I would 100% recommend Marcella for any upcoming weddings. -

Marcella is the best hair stylist EVER! She gave me my dream hair for my wedding day!!! It came out better than the inspiration photos I showed her, luxurious, full and natural looking. She truly exceeded my expectations in every way and is also super sweet.
I HIGHLY recommend Marcella to any one who wants a stunning look that will last all day/night long! My Godsister also booked her for her upcoming wedding and I am confident that she will exceed expectations again.

Marcella was a DREAM to work with. I saw a few hairstyles that she posted on her instagram and website and showed them to her. She knew exactly the style I wanted for my wedding and wound up suggesting a style I hadn't thought of, and it was the one I picked. I loved that her instagram was so full of photos so I could really figure out what I liked and didn't like. She also did my make up, and I loved it at well. My hair and make up stayed for the entire day. She was so easy to talk to and anything I didn't like was not an issue to change. The morning of my wedding getting ready with her and my girls went so smoothly. With all the craziness due to Covid she made me feel so at ease and not stressed at all. I can't wait to work with her again for my big wedding next year! -

Hiring Marcella for my wedding day was the best decision I could have made! I have known Marcella since middle school, so when I started searching for a hair stylist, I was happy to see her name pop up. I could see from her Instagram page and reviews online, that she was very talented. Marcella was so friendly and easy to work with. Even through all of the chaos of Covid-19, which ended up with us changing both our date and bridal suite location, Marcella was incredibly flexible and accommodating. During my trial, Marcella styled my hair beautifully, but I felt that the style I chose didn’t really feel like “me”, so Marcella helped me change it to have the look I was going for, but more in line with my personality. I also have difficult texture to my hair, and usually have trouble styling it. I got my hair professionally done for prom and it was basically an awful frizzy poof so I was thrilled that Marcella knew how to work with my difficult hair, leaving it shiny, smooth, and sleek looking. I left feeling confident and beautiful, ready for the big day! We worked together to come up with a schedule for the morning of the wedding that would allow for hair and makeup to be done for each person without any overlaps. Day of, Marcella arrived on time and stuck to the schedule to make sure each bridesmaid was available to get their makeup done on time. All of my bridesmaids chose different styles and they all turned out absolutely gorgeous. My mom’s hair looked so glamorous and beautiful too! Marcella did my hair last with the hairstyle I liked from the trial. It looked so beautiful and really complimented my makeup and dress. Our wedding was on a hot day in August and our reception was outdoors. My hair held up the entire night! Even through all of the weather and dancing, not a single hair fell out of place or became frizzy. I took my hair out around 3:30am and it looked as if it had just been done. I am so happy with my experience hiring Marcella. I would highly recommend her to any bride! -

I booked Marcella immediately following my trial 6 months before my wedding. She answered every email I sent promptly and professionally, and was super accommodating even when I changed the times a bunch. On the day of the wedding she was able to calm my nerves and nailed the look I was going for. She is so talented at what she does, is an incredible artist and business woman and on top of that is just the sweetest person you’ll ever meet! I never felt more beautiful, and my make up and hair lasted all night. All my bridesmaids looked gorgeous. I would recommend her in a second!! -

Engagement Shoot
I won a package prize at the BOLI Summer Soirée AND I am so thankful. It was my first hair trial EVER for my upcoming wedding. I am so happy I won because not only did I explore services she offers but I met such an amazing person through this experience!! Marcella listened to everything I was looking for, even when I had no direction or clue what to do with my hair. She made me feel so comfortable speaking with her and allowed me to come SUPER early (10am) for my hair appointment. I cannot thank her enough for making me feel so beautiful. I don’t have the best hair but she made it look luxurious and chic. My hair stayed all through a windy day at Robert Moses Beach! I was able to keep my hair for a second day and it looked like I never slept in it! I highly recommend her for any event. I’m coming back when I am ready for my second photo shoot! -

Bride - Bride
Marcella is by far the most talented and kind makeup and hair stylist that I have had. Having her be a part of my wedding experience let alone glamming me up and making me feel beautiful was the best thing I could have asked for. My nervousness on my wedding day was through the roof and not only did she do my hair and makeup even better than I could have imagined, she calmed me down and made me realize that this day was what I’ve been dreaming of and that I needed to enjoy it rather than be nervous for it! So thank you Marcella for the beauty experience and the pep talk!! She is amazing!! Definitely recommend! I’ve received so many compliments on how I looked for my wedding day thanks to you!! The unique half up half down bun was awesome and my makeup was perfect! 😊💕 -

Both my trial and day of my wedding she delivered. She arrived early, and had all my girls and I ready with time to spare. I’m so thankful I found her and HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a true professional on their wedding day. There aren't enough words to describe how great Marcella's work is and what a sweet person she is! From the first time I met her at my trial, I felt so comfortable around her. Her bubbly personality puts you at easy, especially for the morning of.
For my wedding, all my bridesmaids and mother looked beautiful! She allowed them to choose their look and I couldn't have been happier with everyone's makeup. I absolutely LOVED my makeup and it stayed all night and even until the next morning :)
I highly recommend Marcella as she is so talented, professional, and sweet! -

When looking for your wedding hair and make-up you seriously should look no further. Marcella is absolutely amazing!!! She has such a bubbly personality and was so much fun to work with, we truly became BFFs. She did an unbelievable job on my wedding hair and makeup. My hair held up perfectly, I even woke up the morning after my wedding with perfect hair!!!! Unheard of LOL. My makeup also stayed on beautifully, I got an unbelievable amount of compliments, I didn't want to wash it off when I went to bed because it was still perfect! Marcella is super receptive and can literally create any hair or makeup style you could possibly want. She responds within minutes of texts and right away to emails! I had 7 bridesmaids plus 3 JR bridesmaids and my mom all getting their hair and makeup done. Marcella and 2 of her partners made everyone look wonderful, creating each different look perfectly. They were very prompt with timing and we were all finished with hair and make-up with plenty of time to take pictures before leaving for church. I had an amazing time working with Marcella and her team and if you're looking for perfection when it comes to your hair and makeup you NEED to use Marcella!! -

I thought finding a hair/makeup artist was going to be one of the most stressful parts of planning my wedding. It turned out to be one of the easiest, and the most fun, once I found Marcella. Everything about Marcella put me at ease as soon as I met her. We talked comfortably for over an hour, and she answered all of my questions… which were numerous, because I’d never worked with a hair and makeup artist before. What a pleasure she is as a person! Sweet, down-to-earth, friendly and fun. Add that to her professionalism – her eye for color and details, her knowledge of the products she uses, her ability to understand your wants and guide you through the daunting process of creating your wedding day look, her endless patience, her desire to style her clients to their absolute best – she is a dream to work with. She spent about 3+ hours with me for my trial, working through every aspect of the styling, asking me what I was comfortable with, doing everything to perfection. For our wedding, we had a very early start, and Marcella came in at 5:30 am, bright as ever and ready to work. She spent the next 4 hours tirelessly working her artistry on myself, my maid of honor, and my mother in law. Her colleague, Michelle, who came to work on my daughter, niece and sister-in-law, was fantastic also. We all chatted and laughed together the whole time. What a fun experience. I don’t know how she does what she does, but Marcella is an absolute magician. I felt completely transformed after she worked on me, but I still felt like myself. She’s amazing. I was a little sad when the wedding was over, knowing that I was done working with her! I would not hesitate to recommend her. She is a gem. -

Favorite Wedding Vendor - no doubt
Just want to share the wealth about Styles by Marcella! She's styled my hair 3 different ways now (trial, shower, wedding day), and every time she knocked it out of the park. She did my makeup for my shower, too, and it was my favorite look ever.
She did a low bun for my trial, a sexy pony with fishtail for my shower, and a half up/half down style for my wedding. The curls fell the perfect amount, and held the perfect amount (and I have Magic Sleek in my hair so that's hard to accomplish).
I also had picky BMs, and she couldn't have done a better job with their hair either. She arrived on-time for every occasion, answered every text and email, and her pricing was the BEST I could find - not kidding. Do yourself a favor, and book her now. -

She was absolutely wonderful for my wedding creating a beautiful look for me that was better than I could have imagined!! My hair and make up got so many compliments throughout the night- same for my mom and maid of honor! She is so down to earth and helped me feel at ease and kept me and my bridal party laughing leading up to my big moment!! Her talent is incredible and she was such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire planning process! Very responsive and knowledgable!!! Kelly Sent on 05/29/2018Most brides go for the “natural look.” Not me. I wanted red lips, & sparkly, dramatic eyes. Marcella did not disappoint. Both at the trial and on my wedding day, Marcella was a pleasure to work with. She did both me & my bridesmaids. We all had different looks & she mastered each one. I have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day, & that is all thanks to Marcella :). She is a lovely person who has mastered her trade. I’d hire her again in a heartbeat!

Katherine Sent on 05/20/2018Marcella did such a great job on my hair and makeup. I was lucky that I was able to have my trial on the day I had my bridal shower. She did my hair exactly how I wanted and even better than I expected. She did airbrush on me which i needed/LOVED because my face is always red. My makeup was perfect the entire night (even after lots of crying throughout the day). My curls came a little undone only because of the humidity. She did such a great job and was so easy to communicate with. Any questions I had she quickly emailed me back. I would definitely use her again and I highly recommend her!

I showed her a bunch of pictures and she mastered that Disney princess look I was going for!! We emailed back and forth a bunch of times between the trial and my wedding and she always gave a speedy reply and answered all my questions!! On the day of my wedding she was on time and made my hair and makeup come out beautifully! All my guests were complimenting my look all day/night!! My hair tends to fall out after a couple of hours but the products she used kept my hair intact all night and looked great the next day! Thank you so much for an amazing job!!
