    When my (now) husband and I were looking for a Vancouver photographer, we were hoping to find a photographer with a unique, artistic approach to wedding photography who would have the ability to capture the anticipation, excitement and love that we expected to experience on our wedding day. All this...without breaking the bank. By good fortune, we came across Jeanie and it was like I put into a computer the exact photographer I wanted and...Jeanie popped out. Jeanie's genuine enthusiasm and fun, free spirit put my husband and I at ease and she was able to capture such raw but beautiful moments with each other but also with our friends and family (all while taking pictures from my good side :)Without ever being intrusive, during the wedding ceremony or even the Korean traditional ceremony we did later on in the reception, Jeanie was able to capture true, intimate moments. We had a traditional Korean ceremony at our reception and my parents were thrilled with the way Jeanie chronicled the reverence but also the beauty of this tradition. During our wedding photo session - I loved Jeanie's unorthodox style of incorporating unique surroundings and utilizing interesting photo angles to create artistic, editorial images of ourselves and our wedding party. Afterwards when you receive a DVD of your images, Jeanie takes the care to beautifully package the DVD so you can keep it as a momentum of your wedding day for years to come. We were so happy and lucky to have Jeanie photograph one of the most important days of our lives :)

    It was a wonderful experience working with Jeanie. She's upbeat and professional. We hardly noticed she was there taking pictures on our wedding day. Very inventive, unique locations for shooting. Absolute awesome value!

    the images captured what I had dreamed about for my special day. Jeanie your photographs are timeless and stunning. no words can describe the emotions i felt just by looking at them.

    I normally avoid giving perfect scores for anything I review, but it really is hard to give Jeanie anything less than a 5 out of 5. She is a high-energy gal and was such fun to work with, which was really important in feeling comfortable during our photo sessions. Let's face it: unless you're a model, it's nerve-wracking to be in front of a camera, but Jeanie has this knack for putting you at ease. And the results are amazing! We love our photos! She has captured us at our very best, and she was able to capture all the fun moments and the tender moments. Prior to the big day, she was very easy to work with, and very responsive to emails. She was good at walking us through the whole process (i.e., this happens next so you guys need to do this...), and working with us to make sure she captured what we wanted. I don't agree that you have to pay through the roof for good photographers. Jeanie's services are very reasonably-priced, and we're more than happy with the quality of service that she provided.

    Jeanie is amazing! She has such an eye for creativity and a great sense of humor. We gave Jeanie full creative control for both our LifeStyles shoot and our wedding day photography and we were blown away with what she has provided us!
    I would recommend Jeanie Ow of Studio Jeanie to ANYONE who is looking for a fantastic photographer!

    Jeanie is an amazing photographer. When we first met her for the consultation, my husband and I knew that we had to hire her to do our wedding photo. She is super passionate about what she does and full of creative ideas. Also, most importantly she ENJOYS her work. We instantly loved that about her. It's really hard to find someone like that. And on lifestyle shoot day & wedding day she never let us down. She was fantastic and the photos we received later were just amazing. We loved every single photo. :)

    We are definitely going to ask her to do our lifestyle photography when I'm pregnant & also baby photography. :)

    Jeanie's positive energy and obvious love for what she does are two of her major qualities. At our wedding, she was able to capture everything that was important to us without being at all intrusive - all my guests really enjoyed having her around and remembered her cheerfulness. She even stayed later than she was supposed to just so she could get some final shots that she wanted. Our photos turned out to be beautiful and really captured the feeling of the wedding. Thanks Jeanie!!

    StudioJeanie made our big day so much fun. Jeanie is very professional and has a clear passion for what she does. We were amazed by the effort she put into looking for original off- site locations for our wedding photos! Our photos turned out beautifully!

    Photos are not great quality for the price paid. She took 5 months to provide us with the wedding photos and did not apologize or give credit. She says she provides you with all of your wedding photos...but be sure to read the fine print...she only provides the low resolution version of those photos. If you want larger printed photos, you'll have to pay her to get them printed for you because the resolutions she provides are not sufficient to print to larger photos. Her photos were so-so and I would definitely not recommend her to friends. Her forte seems to be capturing still objects. Her only positive is that she is very bubbly.
