I interviewed a few florist before booking with Michelle. Although I didn't have a huge budget, I love flowers and I'm a gardener myself. Everyone I talked to recommended the basic eucalyptus-based wedding bouquet. During my interview with Michelle, she took down notes about flowers I had in my garden and even commented on the drying flowers I have in my home that were behind me in the Zoom frame. A few days later, she sent me a digital vision board that was literally my dream on paper. She not only incorporated types and colors I was growing in my garden, she added ones I had never seen before to add texture and scent. I had expressed that renting an arbor was out of my budget, so she came up with a creative idea of a semi circle of flowers. It was better than I could have imagined. I had brought a rug from home, and she decorated the edge with beautiful flowers that made my husband and I feel like we were standing in a private garden. Then during cocktail hour, Michelle moved the flowers to our sweetheart table, so I didn't need any additional decor. Everyone was commenting on how amazing the flowers were. Stunning flowers for an absolutely beautiful day!
We used Studio 539 for our wedding day florals this June and they were absolutely fantastic! We worked with Joanna who was incredibly helpful in finding options that were in our price range but still elegant and beautiful! Everything from the bridesmaid bouquets, to the boutonnières, to the flower arch was just so perfect! Highly recommend!

So happy to find MJ!
I worked with MJ and her team for my July 2023 wedding at Shepherd’s Run. From my very first call with MJ, she helped turn a loose dream of florals into a beautiful reality for our wedding day. Like many brides I had chatted with a few different floral vendors that worked with venues in and around Newport, some of which I felt bad for not having more of a thought out vision or knowledge of types of flowers I wanted. MJ was extremely open to talking me through different routes we could go with floral and made the most amazing concept document. Some aspects, like the flowers, are hard to predict exactly how it will look on your wedding day. MJ and her team took all of my thoughts from our meetings and delivered on flower designs that were beyond what I could have imagined!! The team designed two altar pieces, aisle floral, bouquets, boutonnieres, bud vases for cocktail hour/bars/cake table, and best of all a gorgeous hanging centerpiece. Studio 539 was amazing in taking the floral from my ceremony and utilizing it in my reception tent area. I can not thank MJ enough!

Wow, I am so extremely happy with my wedding flowers - they were more beautiful than I even imagined. Michelle was easy to work with and flexible (we had to push a year, and then soon before, added rehearsal dinner flowers). I am so happy my husband and I chose Studio 539 for our wedding flowers. Michelle was so easy to work with and really understood what I was looking for. I was hoping for beautiful winter bouquets/boutonnieres with lots of pine and greenery, but was afraid that my bouquet would not preserve well. Michelle knew exactly what to use to ensure that I would be able to save my flowers. I cried when I first saw the flowers, they were stunning! Two months later, and my bouquet has dried beautifully. Bringing visions to life!
Michelle and her team at Studio 539 are AMAZING. They brought our vision to life, while being respectful of budget and flexible when we needed to adjust things. Since we had a traditional Jewish wedding, our chuppah was an important element of the ceremony. Michelle designed and executed exactly what we had in mind and it exceeded our expectations. We wanted to incorporate hops where possible (my husband works at a brewery), and she did so in such an elegant way - in our chuppah, our head table garland, in my husband's boutonniere. Additionally, we had a large wedding with many tables, so Michelle got creative with us for centerpieces. I initially thought we would have all tall centerpieces. which tend to be the most costly. She suggested having three different style centerpieces - some tall, some low, and some smaller clustered pieces. On the day of the wedding, we saw her vision come to life, and this provided so much dimension and was even better than we imagined. Michelle even incorporated dahlias into the bouquets and chuppah, despite us initially thinking they'd be out of season! Aside from being super talented. Michelle is super sweet, and very easy to work with. We are so thrilled with out everything turned out and we highly recommend Michelle and her team!

I cannot say enough good things about Michelle from Studio 539. She is so organized, communicative, and her attention to detail is unlike anything I experienced while planning my wedding. Michelle takes your vision, draws inspiration, and produces pure magic. One of our must have's was our centerpieces needed to be floating candles in class terrariums orbs. It was our subtle, but elegant nod to one of our favorite movies; it turned our better than either of us could've hoped for. Our entire wedding was so subtly romantic, you felt like we were floating in a cloud.
If you don't use Studio 539 for your wedding, you are making a mistake.

I used Studio 539 Flowers for my wedding bouquets and boutonnières. They were referred to me by a friend after I had a bad experience with another florist. Since I had a bad experience previously, I was nervous about the final outcome, but I 100% did NOT need to be worried. Michelle was very responsive to my emails and I absolutely LOVED my flowers! She re-created what I wanted based on a photo, and I loved what she did even more than what I saw in the photo! (She had asked me if she could make some minor adjustments that she thought would look nicer, and what she did was amazing.) Pricing was very reasonable, they offer delivery AND they offer pinning for the groomsmen. I HIGHLY recommend this florist!

I loved my wedding flowers! I worked with Michelle at Studio 539 and while we discussed flower types and the general direction that we wanted the flowers to go and the colours, I wasn't 100% sure how the flowers would look on the day of the wedding. Michelle did an amazing job; the bouquets were exactly what we wanted and the table flowers were perfect as well. The altar flowers were big and beautiful and had all the flowers and colours requested. I am so pleased and couldn't have asked for more. Beautiful!

I was so happy with our decision to use Studio 539 Flowers for our wedding! I did not have a large budget for flowers, and after calling around to a few places in Newport, RI (our wedding was in Middletown, RI) I was getting really discouraged - I was worried we wouldn't be able to afford what we were looking for. I did not want to do flowers for centerpieces - I only wanted bouquets and a few accent pieces, and many shops I called had a minimum spend and wouldn't accommodate that. Then I called Studio 539 - what a breath of fresh air! There was no minimum spend, and they were happy to accommodate as much or as little as I wanted to spend. I worked with Danielle, and she was absolutely lovely. She put together an inspiration board from just one conversation that she and I had where I described what I was looking for, and she somehow managed to convey it exactly! We ended up doing my bouquet, bouquets for the bridesmaids, two accent pieces for the ceremony (which involved driftwood - perfect for our beach wedding!), several small jars to hang off chairs lining the aisle, and petals for the flower girls. Danielle also did our centerpieces, which were glass cylinders filled with water, candles, and a few flowers. They were beautiful, and exactly what I wanted. I got so many compliments on the flowers, and they look absolutely gorgeous in the photos. Danielle was excellent at turning my vision into reality, and was so easy to work with as well - she is kind, responsive, and flexible. I was so happy to receive this kind of service and such a beautiful product for my money - the value was EXCELLENT. Highly recommend! It was money well spent! Thank you Danielle and Studio 539!

Creative, Talented, and SO Customer Friendly!
Danielle did a gorgeous job with the flowers for my recent wedding. I don't know a ton about flowers other than that I don't love babies breath and I didn't want color. Danielle was able to educate me on what would work best and somehow interpreted the vision in my head, as inarticulate as I was in describing it. She did a tablescape amongst the antique brass candlesticks we used for centerpieces and created the most gorgeous bouquets I could imagine. We definitely let her guide the process and trusted her taste and expertise, and I am so, so glad we did. I would 100% recommend Studio 539 Flowers and am SO happy with the service and beautiful blooms they provided on our big day!

Christina is a talented florist- my bouquets were show stopping. As the bride, my bouquet featured lots of bright, bold reds as well as deeper reds and some light pinks, perfectly corresponding to my bridesmaids's gowns and my groom's boutonniere. She even managed to get beautiful out-of-season peonies, which smelled like heaven.
I didn't want to put it down, and I definitely didn't want to throw it!
The bridesmaid's bouquets were so interesting, she used what looked like leafy lamb's ear (Dusty miller foliage, google thinks?) which really made me fall in love with these winter bouquets.
Not only is her work spectacular, she honored my budget and was upfront about what we could do within it! She is respectful and more than willing to work with what you've got! Somehow, with my limited budget, she still produced show-stopping flowers for our wedding day.

Christina and Studio 539 were recommended by our photographer. We met with her approximately 6 months before our wedding and liked her immediately. She was easy to work with and talk to about our likes and dislikes. Neither I nor my husband has much experience with flowers and I wasn't even able to give her any flower preferences due to my lack of knowledge. She was able to suggest just enough flowers to make the reception tables beautiful without being too much and having the tables dominated by large arrangements. The bridal bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets were stunning and I received many compliments on the arrangements and flower choices. She complimented the color of my bridesmaids dresses without it being overly "matchy matchy." We were intimidated by the florist component of the wedding because we knew so little about it and had decided flowers was not an area we were willing to spend a great deal on. We were afraid we would insult Christina by saying it wasn't meant to be a focal point of the wedding, but a complimentary component. She worked with us to ensure we had the pieces that were important to us and not any additional things we didn't think were necessary (for example, we chose not to do boutonnieres for the groomsman, only for the groom) and she suggested the appropriate size bouquet and centerpieces based on our description. Her staff ensured delivery of the centerpieces to the venue and delivered the bouquets to the bridal party at the hotel since pictures were before the ceremony. I cannot say enough positive things about working with Christina and Studio 539. I would recommend her to anyone and encourage you to say whatever you are thinking as far as arrangements and let her work with you!

Christina knew exactly what we meant and was able to take that and run with it. The bride bouquet was stunning along with two big arrangements, bridal party bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces and cake flowers. Since we were married at the Providence Public Library we had special arrangements in card catalog drawers as well as book planters we made. Christina was an absolute pleasure to work with from beginning to end. We did not know much about flowers going into our meeting with her, we just knew the color/feel we wanted. She took our ideas (which we could hardly get into coherent thoughts) and brought it to life in the most perfect way! She was great about staying within our budget while still producing beautiful bouquets and centerpieces; she even blew away my mother who is sort of a flower connoisseur! Christina and the team at Studio 539 are a MUST HAVE for your wedding day. Christina is kind, creative, go-with-the-flow, organized, and will work within your budget. I don't know much about flowers and it wasn't my main focus throughout wedding planning, and Christina totally understood where I was coming from and did an amazing job working with my request for simple, elegant, and fun flowers.
We got married at the Unitarian Church in Providence, which is a beautiful but very old building. She designed pew flowers, 2 wreaths, and a large pulpit arrangement that transformed the church into something I never could have imagined- it was gorgeous. Her team waited outside during the ceremony and once everyone led the church, they quickly and discretely moved the flower arrangements to our reception venue so we could use them the whole night. They delivered the bouquets and boutonnieres on time so I didn't have to worry one bit about that. Every little detail at the reception was perfect and we received so many compliments.
Thank you to Studio 539 for their patience and stellar service. One can never underestimate the importance of hiring a vendor that you can truly trust, and they delivered 100%. Contract Studio 539 for your wedding day. You will not regret it.

My daughter used studio 539 for her wedding flowers in September. She had a tight budget, but they were happily ready to work with her and still managed to deliver beautiful bouguets! Her bridesmaids had orange bouquets and the flowers were so fresh and vibrant. They were perfect! And her all white bouquet was just lovely! Thank you for a beautiful job! The flowers were delivered on time without any issues!

we almost wish the wedding wasn't over so we could continue to meet and work with Christina and her team. Honestly, I was speechless when I walked into the dining rooms on my wedding day, I couldn't believe it! We loved everything Christina at Studio539 did for our wedding! The bridal bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets were so beautiful and exactly as we imagined them. The centerpieces were elegant and classic. Flowers were the very last the thing we were worried about with our wedding (we planned it on our own) because we was so confident in Christina. She was fun and easy to work with, and is truly talented at designing flowers. Even though she was incredibly busy all the time, she was always responsive to emails and phone calls. I changed my mind a few times on some details and Christina was very helpful in throwing out ideas without making me feel pressured to make up my mind too fast. She is also experienced enough in the wedding industry that she knows the venues (who to talk to, when she needs to arrive on the wedding day, the layout of rooms in the venue), and thanks to her recommendation, we got an awesome photographer (Blueflash Photography). I highly recommend her for weddings and other special occasions and events! Don't forget to visit her beautiful store in Providence too.

I cannot say enough positive things about Christina and her team. After seeing hundreds and hundreds of pastel hued bouquets on StyleMePretty and Pinterest, I decided that I really needed a pop of color added to my flowers. The problem with that was it was a week before the wedding after Christina had already ordered my flowers. She quickly contacted me to let me know that it might not be possible with such little notice and I said I trusted that whatever happened (if I got the pop of color or not) I'm sure she'd deliver amazing flowers. The Tuesday before my Sunday wedding, I got an amazing email from Christina saying not only had she located the burgundy dahlias I had requested for my bouquet from a local grower, but they were also organic. I cannot tell you how many people ohhh'd and awed over the flowers. The staff at Ocean Cliff were completely mesmerized by them and they see a lot of weddings. I cannot recommend Christina enough!

Studio 539 recently did the flowers for our wedding at Belle Mer in Newport RI. Christina and her team did an extraordinary job on all the flowers and I would Studio 539 to anyone! The bouquets, centerpieces and all the accent flowers came out absolutely stunning. The church pews looked amazing along with the altar pieces . We went to several florists in the Newport, RI area and they were much more expensive. Further, Christina is so down to earth and easy to work with. She saw our vision and created it. Overall, everything was perfect!

I used Studio 539 for all our flowers for our wedding last weekend and I couldn't have been happier! Flowers were a very important part of my wedding and Christina was so easy to work with and was able to put together everything exactly the way I envisioned it. I booked Christina through a recommendation of a good friend that was a recent bride. I was a little hesitant since I was planning from Texas but I have to tell you that she completely blew me and the rest of my guests away. INSANE! Her quality of work/flowers are incomparable.....they were hands down one of the favorite parts of my day. They are fresh fresh fresh! Lasted almost two weeks after the wedding date! My husband and I met with Christine from Studio 539 Flowers because she did my sisters wedding and it came out beautiful! Unlike my sister, I am not crazy about flowers so I wanted to keep it simple and a lower part of my budget. My husband and I sat with Christine and showed her some ideas we liked and she was able to capture our vision perfectly and able to stay within our budget, unlike everyone else we sat with. The day of the wedding the flowers turned out more then I expected, they were simple and elegant and with every detail we discussed. The flowers we wanted to stand out were ours and the bridal party and the sure did. I wanted a big cascading bouquet and oh my god it was breathtaking and the pictures of the flowers were amazing! Christine listened to what we were looking for and delivered. She has a great personality which made it very easy and enjoyable to work with. We would recommend her to anyone!

I can not recommend this company highly enough. Christina is beyond fabulous, a true talent. Everything about the flowers was exactly how I dreamed they would be. She was so amazing throughout the whole planning process, even being totally cool with me dropping off the hundreds of bottles and mason jars that my girls and I had collected to use as center pieces. She accommodated my every request, even making suggestions that totally added to the beauty of the day. She and her assistant ( sorry her name escapes me right now) did such an amazing job and I am so proud to have had them as our florist. The only regret I have from my whole wedding, which has literally been driving me crazy ever since, is that I didn't have our pictures taken with our flowers. :*( we got so caught up with trying to gather people and get the pictures taken that we didn't remember to grab them before hand. My bouquet was so breath takingly beautiful that it kills me that I didn't have it front and center in all the pictures!!! Amazing job and amazing people. Don't second guess, just use them! My ceremony and reception were at The Roger Williams Park Casino, and both upstairs and down were transformed into elegant, romantic and absolutely beautiful spaces. She took my ideas of colors which included shades of plum, purples, sangria, bright green and black and created pieces that far exceeded anything I had imagined. Every detail was amazing, from the spectacular bridesmaid bouquets and groomsman's boutonnières , to the unbelievable center pieces that our guests could not wait to get their hands on to take home at the end of the night. And words cannot describe how breathtaking my own bouquet was, with its vibrant, bold and rich colors. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever held! Christina is truly an artist. Christina was such a fun person to work with. Her bubbly personality makes selecting flowers fun, and she even teaches you a bit about the different kinds during your consultation. Christina and her team were willing to try something out of the box for me, and even though it ended up not being possible, she was helpful in suggesting alternatives that fit my floral vision.
The bouquets that we received for the wedding were the perfect size, and the flowers were so fresh. My bouquet lasted in water for almost a month after the wedding. I'm looking forward to using her for all my floral needs in the future.

Our experience working with Christina was nothing short of spectacular! First of all, she is a wonderful person and very easy to talk too. Initially I had a difficult time trying to visualize what I wanted my flowers to look like, but through looking at pictures and asking me questions, she was able to get inside my head and figure out exactly what I wanted. I don't know how she did it, but when I walked into my venue and saw the bouquets it took my breath away! Christina and her team did absolutely stunning work at my wedding on goat island. The flowers were out of this world and her taste and style is some of the best I have seen. She was so accommodating just a few weeks before the wedding and created exactly what I wanted with such little information, its incredible. It really became a dream wedding and I haven't stopped hearing wonderful things. Easy and fun to work with, I would recommend Studio 539 to anyone who needs flowers/decor at an event! Esp weddings ;) love love love!

I highly recommend Christina at Studio 539 Flowers she has an amazing talent! Our wedding flowers came out so beautiful and its because of Christina’s love for what she does. We wanted to capture the colors of fall and through two meetings Christina took what we talked about and blew our expectations out of the water. I got so many compliments on my bouquet and flowers and the colors were amazing in the pictures. She was so throughout and professional through the whole process and I didn’t have to worry about anything. As an out of town bride she was always extremely flexible when she could meet which was always very helpful. We loved working with Christina! We planned our wedding from afar (since this was a destination wedding for us) and Christina made it so much easier to do so. She got back to all my emails super quickly and she and I had many wonderful phone chats. Whenever we were in town, Christina made time to meet with us. She completely captured our vision with beautiful florals! Her arrangements were elegant, understated and exceptionally fresh. We were so thrilled to have chosen her as our florist and we would certainly hire her again! I think that Christina is the best florist in the area and she is definitely the most reasonably priced for such high, high quality work. She really listened to what I wanted and make thoughtful suggestions. I felt very fortunate to have her design our day. Also, on the day-of, she and her team executed everything perfectly. My husband and I were married in July 2011 and worked with Christina for all of our wedding flowers. Christina was absolutely wonderful to work with. She did a great job walking us through all of the options and was able to create exactly what I had been envisioning. The service on the wedding day was also great, our flowers were not just delivered to all of our locations, but someone came instructed the girls how to hold the bouquets for the pictures so that dresses and faces were not blocked and also stayed to pin on all of the guys flowers. Also, our bouquets came in beautiful baskets that were really helpful in transporting them around all day when we weren't carrying them. I would not hesitate to recommend Studio 539 to other brides in the area and am definitely planning on using them for any other floral needs in the future.

Mid way through my planning period I changed my design and she was totally on board with it and made it so easy. I also called her two days before the wedding needing some branches for an arrangement I was making and she had them for me that day. The flowers were very beautiful. Christina was also kind enough to create a small bridal bouquet for our Gown Around Town photo sessions after the wedding.

The one thing that stayed constant was the very precise color purple that I wanted, and various shades of green, aside from that, Christina did a great job of keeping up with all my changing ideas! I received so many compliments- each person saying that our flowers were the prettiest wedding flowers that they had ever seen!
Christina also does a wonderful job with communication - any questions I had were answered immediately. Christina is also a person who does not call and email you unless it's necessary - which is super important when you are planning a wedding. Too many other vendors did not take good notes and would call me about details we had already discussed.
My favorite part about Studio 539 is the price. During the consultation, my husband and I told her the flowers we liked and the colors we wanted and notified her of our budget and she did an amazing job keeping all three factors in mind: budget, flower choice, and colors. I couldn't be more happy!

Christina is amazing! I had a very unusual color scheme (plum and lime) and she did an amazing job. I was absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out. She has an incredibly modern and elegant sense of color an eye for beauty. She delivered all the flowers the morning of the wedding and even made my niece (the flower girl) a gorgeous basket with ribbon in the wedding colors.

Studio 539 was such a pleasure to work with. They were always quick to respond to my emails and were very patient any time I had questions. We actually didn’t need a whole lot of flowers for our wedding since we were doing DIY centerpieces but I never felt like I was any less important as their other brides with much bigger orders. I think my only complaint would be that I had wanted my bouquet to be more ‘branch like’ but they had also let me know ahead of time that they would do the best they could with what was available in the market that time of year. Besides that, my bouquet was still beautiful! For the mother corsages they even added a pearl bracelet for them to wear them with which was a nice touch. The corsages and boutonnieres were all great! We were very happy with how everything turned out!

Christina from Studio 539 is so incredibly talented!! I told my husband that I was in love with her work from photos online and after meeting with her it confirmed that she would be our florist. I gave her an idea of my vision for the tables and bridesmaids boutiques and then told her to do her magic. She not only surprised me on the day of our wedding, but absolutely blew us away. We had bright, vibrant colors and let me tell you the flowers POP in all of our photos. I received so many complements and so happy I went with Christina for my flowers!! She was very responsive to all of our emails and phone calls throughout the planning and helped to make flowers work within our budget. Christina is AMAZING! From the second I met with her before booking our wedding I knew that she was going to be our florist. She really listened to what I wanted for my vintage/rustic barn wedding and was very helpful and honest in expressing her opinions about how to best decorate our venue. She was also very familiar with our venue (Tyrone Farm) so that was immensely helpful as well. And when I changed our contract and floral needs a couple of times as my ideas evolved and changed, Christina was patient and accommodating and took all of our changes in stride. And the day of? - I almost cried when she handed me my bouquet it was so beautiful! And when I saw the centerpieces and the master table. She took my vision and ran with it. She was professional, very organized and she was very patient because my husband and I hadn't chosen our centerpieces until a few weeks before the wedding! She helped us choose the perfect centerpieces, and we were very happy with my decisions. My bouquet was simple, white roses with crystal accents. It came out beautiful! Very clean, and exactly what I wanted. We had two different types of centerpieces and I had bought part of one of them for each table. I left them at my venue, and she set everything up for me exactly how I envisioned it. She was right on time at my hotel with the bouquet and the boutonnieres and time is very important when it comes to the day of your wedding! Christina and her crew were great to work with. Christina was very professional, gave opinions, and made us feel like we were in capable hands from the first meeting. Although her costs may seem pricey to some, you get what you pay for. The work that she produced for us was excellent. We wanted a bright and colorful wedding and that's just what she provided. She also helped us with several other decoration aspects that didn't involve flowers, including hanging lanterns in our pergula, scattering confetti hearts on the tables, and hanging paper hearts on chairs. Our centerpieces had candy in them and I found out the day of that it had caused some problems for them in putting them together but that they had persevered and the way they hid the plastic, I wouldn't even had known there had been a problem, another plus to their professionalism. My only gripes are that our bridal bouquets were not what we expected them to be, don't get me wrong, they were beautiful, but they weren't as colorful as we had wished them to be because they were missing the yellow color we had wanted. Also I found out after the florist left that there was a pin sticking out of my bouquet that if I wasn't carefully kept stabbing me...but overall a little pain didn't dull the beauty of our wedding flowers. No matter what our vision may have been, Studio 539 saw it through down to almost every detail and that is all you really can ask for!

I really liked using them because they responded quickly to our emails and phone calls, and they were great about being up front with their prices. Their website had a list of starting prices for most things and it seemed fair compared to other places I looked at. Our bouquets were beautiful and all of our flowers were delivered on time. The boutonnieres were kind of flimsy though. They were falling off and did not last the whole reception.
