A Genuinely Captivating Experience
Where do I even begin?! This was hands down the MOST incredible experience that left my boyfriend and I completely amazed by Stephanie's raw talent. Coming from someone who isn't used to being in front of a camera very often...I was surely put at ease when Stephanie made my boyfriend and I feel so comfortable during our session. It was such an easy and extremely fun environment that Stephanie created, that we simply didn't mind being in freezing Colorado weather! I couldn't believe how goofy and silly we were able to be during the shoot -- it made it that much more enjoyable and Stephanie knew exactly what kind of vibe/style we were going for. I was so appreciative of the constant energy and positivity that she had throughout the entire evening, along with her radiant creativity that was a BONUS! My boyfriend and I wanted to display these captured moments of us in our new home in California, so we really wanted these photos to be shared as a new milestone we were taking on, while saying goodbye to long-lasted memories. We are now SO utterly obsessed with all of the pictures we have, it's hard to choose which ones to hang up in our house! Apart from having Stephanie be exceptional on our actual shoot day, we received the most BEAUTIFUL pictures just the following day as a sneak peek, and her turn-around time was impeccable (SO FAST, It blew my mind). The constant communication allowed me to feel more comfortable with receiving these photos as well! Overall, Stephanie will go above and beyond to make each of her clients feel comfortable and beautiful. It was truly a day I will never forget and I can't wait to fly Stephanie out to California to capture more of our future adventures! -

Stephanie was fantastic! She really captured who we are as a couple and gave us beautiful moments we will have forever. She made us both feel so comfortable and let us be ourselves, but gave us direction when we needed it. Could not recommend her enough! -

Stephanie is truly the whole package when it comes to capturing such intimate moments! She makes things so comfortable and has such a special skill for creating a unique experience for each person and capturing these moments without it feeling staged. She is so clearly an artist and that is what separates her. -

Best friend in a photographer!
Stephanie works absolute miracles! My husband does NOT like to be in front of a camera but wouldn’t ya know it, she made him have a blast with our engagement photos!! We actually ended up not having the best weather for our session and she was sweet enough to have a second session when she came back to KC the next time! Again, we had a fabulous time! At the wedding, she was so attentive to all of the bridal party and what was going on throughout the day. She captured the theme of the day effortlessly, pure joy. I have the biggest gosh darn smile in every single picture because that is what the day was about. She knew what to look for and the pictures prove it. They are absolutely stunning! You won’t regret one single second of spending your day with Stephanie! -

Photography at its finest
Stephanie Mikuls photographed my engagement and wedding photos in 2018 - needless to say both photo sessions exceeded all expectations. Lighting is everything and the beauty captured at both venues (Red Rocks and the Stanley Hotel) leaves me in AWE. Friends and family whom I share these photos with all say the same thing. Stephanie and her 2nd photographer on my wedding day, Bridget Burnett, were so professional and very easy to work with. They had an eye for the scenery and captured every special moment with family and friends. The edited wedding photos came back a little after 2 months (can't rush perfection) and I find myself in disbelief every time I look through them that this was my wedding day - It was truly everything I ever wanted. I Would highly recommend Stephanie's services to anyone wanting their special day to be captured and remembered forever. -

Amazing experience!
Stephanie exceeded our expectations on our wedding day. She has a great eye for detail. Not only did she capture all of our most precious moments throughout the day, she captured them in a unique way that truly made them stand out. Stephanie was so patient - she arrived at 8:30 am and stayed the entire day. It rained almost the entire day of our wedding which complicated things a bit, but Stephanie had a back up plan and helped me avoid a meltdown. Our photos are absolutely perfect. We will treasure them for the rest of our life! Thank you so much, Stephanie! -

The best KC AND Denver have to offer!
Where to even begin with Stephanie? She is a warm, creative, thoughtful, and attentive photographer. We had discussed me coming up with a list of desired photos and I completely forgot...it's true! Stephanie took all of the pressure off of me and assured me she would capture a variety of photos, and did she! Our wedding album is a mix of posed pictures, as well as things we would enjoy remembering, like the beautiful colors of the leaves the day of our fall wedding or the records that our vintage records our DJ used. She took TONS of pictures of my husband and I in various settings that we will spend a life-time enjoying and previewing. By trade, Stephanie is an editorial photographer and works best going with the flow of the environment you've chosen and the vibes of your guests and day! She had help from another lady, Laura, and together they created an atmosphere that made it comfortable to have your picture taken over and over again. They were conversational, and worked to make my husband and I feel comfortable...funny too! Stephanie was prompt. We got previews of a few pictures about 4 weeks out, and the rest came shortly after, maybe 8 weeks, if that!
Lastly, she was willing to go outside of her box and try new things. Thankfully, she gathered some video footage for us too. We were able to see those who love us speaking and dancing and laughing and that is something we will would live over and over if we could. If you allow Stephanie (& Laura) to do what she/they know(s) best, you'll be rewarded with beautiful and creative pieces that you'll be excited to re-visit time and time again just to have a glimpse at such precious moments in time.
Thank-you SO much Stephanie for your diligence and attention to detail, you provided us with pictures and video footage that we look comfortable and natural in, not to mention you have captured that day for us to beautifully.

Stephanie is so great to work with, my husband and I have used her several times for different photo sessions from couples sessions, to a lifestyle session in our home, maternity photos, and will use her for newborn photos when our son gets here! She is always quick to respond and makes the whole process so easy. She makes us feel so comfortable and her photos are always exactly what I am looking for! -
