  Amazing Wedding Planner

  Stag and Lily was so amazing to work with for my wedding day. I’m a perfectionist and was blown away by Nicole. She was so organized and extremely detail oriented. She made sure to have every detail touched on and covered — from ceiling to floor and across all vendors everything was exactly how I envisioned. We had several months of planning and phone calls and at the very end, I think Nicole knew more about my wedding than I did. So extremely professional and my wedding ran flawlessly. Everyone kept telling me that the wedding may not be perfect and to just go with the flow, so I went in with that mindset, but Nicole absolutely killed it and it was perfect. Everything went exactly as planned.

  Stag and Lily was so amazing to work with for my wedding day. I’m a perfectionist and was blown away by Nicole. She was so organized and extremely detail oriented.   If you need a planner, look no further!

  As a detail-oriented person, I wanted someone to come in the last three months and serve as a day of director. Nicole was absolutely the best person for the job.
  
  First, during my initial calls trying to find the right planner, Nicole was a wealth of information. Before we even agreed to work together she was sharing tips about our venue, giving ideas and providing feedback on our concerns. I was absolutely sold.
  
  Nicole has a robust planning site and tools to keep you on track. I was never concerned on forgetting something and she has helpful resources for every stage.
  
  The day of, was not exactly how I planned per the weather, but I trusted Nicole whole heartedly to make recommendations and execute. She did wonderful! My parents and I were thrilled to feel Nicole take on the pressure of getting things done and staying on time.
  
  I can’t recommend Nicole enough. I’m sad our time is over :)

  Make Your Life Easier!!

  If you're getting married soon and do not want to worry about the minute details of your wedding day, I would absolutely recommend working with Stag & Lily! Nicole was amazing!! She handled everything leading up to our wedding day - like coordinating all vendors, going over vendor contracts, setting up a day-of timeline, and more. Everything happened seamlessly! She made it so we could literally just worry about having fun :) Hire them and make your life easier!!!

  A Planner & A Partner!

  I approached Nicole for planning my wedding at Upper Shirley Vineyards this April after every Bride’s nightmare-the event planner we had previously been working with had been so inattentive and unhelpful, we had to part ways. My first call with Nicole, every concern I had about finding the right planner melted away. Not only is Nicole insanely organized (her planning tools are unbelievably impressive, and cover topics most people would never think of on their own) but she is incredibly kind, down to earth, and acts as a true partner throughout the planning process. Nicole is so committed to her clients that she didn’t even take off from coordinating our wedding when she had her baby this spring!!
  
  All in all, Nicole was an amazing resource, a wonderful friend, and gave us the wedding of our dreams. There was never a time I felt I couldn’t reach out to her with a silly question or to vent about a concern-she was always there. I’m so grateful for everything she did for me and my husband, before during and after the process-hiring Nicole will be the best decision you make when planning your wedding!!

  Best of best wedding planning

  I had the best, most memorable time at my daughter’s wedding because I went perfectly — I didn’t have to worry about one detail thanks to excellent planning by Stag & Lily. Nicole is the best.

  It's All About Trust

  As a groom, I felt very confident in my now-wife's decision to use Stag and Lily as our day-of coordinator. Nicole was always focused when we talked and truly listened to us as we went about planning our big day. She's organized and direct. We depended on her to handle almost all communication with vendors and even some guests leading up to our ceremony and she executed flawlessly. Lastly, she worked almost entirely behind the scenes, allowing the day to belong to my wife and I, while making sure it ran seamlessly. It's that kind of trust you want when you're trying to execute such an important celebration. We had trust in Stag and Lily during our wedding and definitely feel that our trust was well placed.

  Nicole was AMAZING. She was very professional right from the start. She is very organized and gets back to your questions in a timely manner. She works with you to ensure that your vision of your wedding day is exactly what you intended.   Nicole makes the dream work!

  My husband and I had three months to plan our wedding and we could not have made it without the help of Nicole with Stag & Lily. Our wedding ceremony was at Maymont and our reception was at the Hofheimer Building. Nicole made the wedding day go seamless with the vendors and coordination of events, so my husband and I could enjoy our big day with our friends and family. She has a lot of ties in the wedding community to help you find the vendors of your needs. She is organized, professional, a pleasure to be around and will tell you how it is to steer you in your desired direction.   10 STARS!!!!!!!!!!

  Is it possible to rate 10 stars?!?! Nicole/Stag & Lily were absolutely amazing to work with for my wedding this past weekend. I am so lucky I found Nicole through my vendor (Upper Shirley's Vineyard) preferred list because she is outstanding and made my wedding day absolutely perfect!! Nicole handled my day of coordination (she even provided feedback for vendor recommendations too since I am not from Richmond) and everything about my wedding went stellar. Her documentation, responsiveness, patience (I am a Program Mgr and I ask a TON of questions/like to plan), detailed timeline, attention to details, ability to plan so ceremony and reception flow seamlessly, decor plans and setup (it literally was perfect), etc. are just a few of the many reasons why Nicole and her team were magnificent! She addressed things that I had forgotten or didn't fully think through. I even had a dress mishap right after first look and her team fixed it no time, as well as handled everything with such poise and continuously checked in with me the entire reception. Her follow ups with vendors starting 60 days out were also helpful and always took time to answer my emails and calls (needless to say our planning meetings went long too!) so attentively and promptly, I am actually sad I won't get to work with her anymore and absolutely 110% recommend her for planning services!!! MUST HAVE!!!!!!!!

Nicole took such good care of us not only on our wedding day but leading up to our big day. She took the time to understand our vision and hopes for our special day. Everything was handled flawlessly. My family had such great things to say about how she and her team worked behind the scenes to ensure everything went off without a hitch. She communicated with our vendors and just made sure everything was beautiful from the timeline to the setup.   Hands down the best decision we made was hiring Stag and Lily

  We hired Nicole for the guided partial planning upgrade and could not have enjoyed our wedding day as much as we did without her and her team. She asked us in the beginning what was most important to us, truly heard what we said, and kept us on track to achieve exactly that. She helped us find and secure vendors that fit our budget and aesthetic and handled communications and coordinating with them (and us!) expertly. Her attention to detail can’t be matched, and neither can her ability to ensure those details fulfill the larger vision. As just one example, we heard from a guest afterwards that a member of the Stag and Lily team helped to ensure our reception maintained the full benefits of the private event space we reserved even though the outdoor space wasn’t fully ours. Standing outside between our private event space and where other members of the public might spill over, the Stag and Lily team ensured our wedding got the full private event treatment (thanks, Matt!). Having fully enjoyed our big day almost entirely because of Nicole, our only regret is not having hired her for full planning services!

  Nicole made everything easy!

  There is no way my husband and I would have had the amazing wedding we did without Stag & Lily. We were perhaps the laziest wedding planning partners imaginable, and Nicole was so organized and on top of it that we could be lazy - she made everything a breeze. She got us and what we wanted immediately from the day we met through the last dance. My mom even joked that during the wedding, whenever she would think, ‘oh, I need to find Nicole,’ there she would appear next to her! She literally has a 6th sense for what everyone needs, and always delivers. Hire her!

  There is no way my husband and I would have had the amazing wedding we did without Stag & Lily. We were perhaps the laziest wedding planning partners imaginable, and Nicole was so organized and on top of it that we could be lazy - she made everything a breeze. She got us and what we wanted immediately from the day we met through the last dance.   My husband and I had no clue where to begin our wedding planning but we knew we needed to hire Nicole to help us organize our big day! From our first meeting we clicked with her easy going personality. Nicole helped us stay focused as our summer wedding drew near with important task reminders and had great vendor recommendations throughout the planning process. Finally, Nicole is a master of creating and sticking to timelines. If you're type A like me, Nicole is your gal!

  Nicole was a huge help in planning our wedding and - perhaps even more importantly - in making the big day go totally smoothly without a problem. She was flexible in working with us to plan the day to be exactly what we wanted, including a few things that we wanted done differently than a standard wedding. On the day-of, everything was so organized and Nicole was so familiar with exactly what we wanted and needed that we didn't have to make any new decisions or deal with any new stress - she and her team had it totally under control and we just went with the flow and enjoyed ourselves. We loved working with Nicole, and sincerely cannot imagine having done the wedding without her.

  More than we ever hoped for!

  We found Nicole through our venue, North Point Plantation. We hired Nicole to do partial planning and day of coordination for our wedding. My husband and I were living over 2 hours away from Richmond while planning our wedding and we therefore needed a flexible planner to help us in person and over the phone. We had countless meetings with Nicole over our 2 year planning period and she truly helped to bring our vision to life. While planning, she helped us to choose a lot of our vendors for the wedding. Her connections to the wedding community were priceless and helped to make our day extra special. During our wedding, Nicole and her team worked tirelessly all day to make sure that the day ran seamlessly. My family and I had no worries or responsibilities the day of the wedding because Nicole and her team were so professional. We truly could not have found a more accommodating or helpful wedding planner and coordinator than Nicole at Stag & Lily.

  10/10 Recommend Stag & Lily

  I would recommend Stag & Lily to EVERYONE that I know. Nicole is prompt, professional, honest, and I can't imagine our wedding day without her and her team! One of the biggest comments we got about our wedding was how seamless the transitions were from the Ceremony to the Cocktail Hour to the Reception Hall. Nicole ensured that anything we needed was taken care of before our big day, during our big day, and even the breakdown of everything after the reception ended. We didn't have to worry about anything.

  Mother of the Bride

  Nicole was a calm voice in every situation we faced during our daughter’s wedding season. She helped us track down some great vendors, set clear priorities for what tasks to conquer first, kept conversations positive when our family’s varied opinions could have veered into conflict and was AMAZING on the wedding day! She prioritized making the day joyful and fun (worry free) for the bride and groom. We came up one tie short in the rental suit bags and the photographer was ready to start. Nicole quickly came up with a plan to switch the FOB and groomsmen’s ties between shots and the crisis was over. She was instantly ready with a backup plan that calmed everyone down.
  Nicole stayed to the end, and finished every last detail calmly and efficiently. We are enormously grateful for Nicole’s hard work this year and we highly recommend her services.

  Perfect! Amazing!

  While my mom spoke with and met Nicole and Danielle more than I did, I absolutely loved them every time we did get to meet! They are very knowledgeable with the wedding process and making sure your timeline runs smoothly but also sure to incorporate your vision into that. I would highly recommend to any bride to be!

  Very professional but down to earth too

  I felt overwhelmed the moment my daughter told me she wanted to get married in Virginia...because I live in South Carolina! I knew it would not be impossible to make her dreams come true, but coming home for a wedding would have been so easy. The moment we chose North Point Plantation for the wedding venue and were introduced to Nicole with Stag & Lilly, she put me right at ease by saying "don't you worry, we can do this". And from that day on, she was there for me. Answering every question, responding to emails very quickly, and even set up phone meetings along the way to stay up-to-date with planning.   Nicole was a great help for our wedding day. We used her as our day of planner but communications started with her way before that. She was organized, kept me organized, made sure we had thought about all areas of the wedding from rehearsal through getting the couple to their honeymoon suite to collecting our personal items once all over. Starting about a month out she became the focal point with vendors to again make sure everything was covered and that day of they would know SHE was the contact not me. Great planner, easy to work with! Helped make our day wonderful!

  Can I get married again? Thank you Nicole!

  Nicole was absolutely wonderful to work with! We're really sad that we don't get to see her anymore now that the wedding is done. Throughout the entire process Nicole was extremely responsive, fun, and helped us put our idea (and budget) into perspective. We looked forward to meeting with her every time and she really helped decrease our stress. However, the ultimate test was when a hurricane was supposed to hit the weekend of our wedding. Nicole worked overtime to move our outdoor wedding indoors and redo the timeline with all the vendors (and get money back from those who cancelled). Despite a decreased guest count and the threat of rain/tornadoes we had an absolute perfect wedding thanks to Nicole. It may have actually turned out better than what it would have been. Nicole and her team took care of everything. You couldn't even tell that things had been modified. Highly, highly recommend! You won't be sorry!
