Stag and Lily is IT!! What a pleasure and relief it was to have Nicole in my life throughout the past year! As a Type-A girl, I like to plan things “my way,” and wanted a coordinator that would allow me the space to plan our wedding according to our vision, but also provide much-needed direction and handle all of the nitty gritty details and logistics leading up to and on the big day. Nicole did exactly that!
Along the way, Nicole provided a comprehensive site for us filled with guidance, planning documents, and timeline information. I was so incredibly prepared because of her and didn’t have to research a single thing on my own! She was also available for quick questions and check-ins leading up to her official “start time” three months before the wedding day, and that was such a relief!
Nicole’s expertise is undeniable. She of course knows the industry inside and out, but also went above and beyond to help execute our vision. She was always ready find solutions to venue restrictions, flexible with scheduling meetings, available and willing to chat about DIY ideas, and quick to provide clarity around contracts and vendor terms. On our wedding day, Nicole had everything running like a well-oiled machine. She set up all of the DIY decor exactly as I had envisioned, and I actually couldn’t even tell you everything Nicole did for us because I was just relaxing, being a bride. I owe that to her!
Nicole, Matt, and Hannah are so kind and spectacular - exceptional is their collective middle name. I could go on and on. The bottom line is, if you’re planning a wedding, you need to hire Stag and Lily! -

As a detail-oriented person, I wanted someone to come in the last three months and serve as a day of director. Nicole was absolutely the best person for the job.
First, during my initial calls trying to find the right planner, Nicole was a wealth of information. Before we even agreed to work together she was sharing tips about our venue, giving ideas and providing feedback on our concerns. I was absolutely sold.
Nicole has a robust planning site and tools to keep you on track. I was never concerned on forgetting something and she has helpful resources for every stage.
The day of, was not exactly how I planned per the weather, but I trusted Nicole whole heartedly to make recommendations and execute. She did wonderful! My parents and I were thrilled to feel Nicole take on the pressure of getting things done and staying on time.
I can’t recommend Nicole enough. I’m sad our time is over :) -

A Planner & A Partner!
I approached Nicole for planning my wedding at Upper Shirley Vineyards this April after every Bride’s nightmare-the event planner we had previously been working with had been so inattentive and unhelpful, we had to part ways. My first call with Nicole, every concern I had about finding the right planner melted away. Not only is Nicole insanely organized (her planning tools are unbelievably impressive, and cover topics most people would never think of on their own) but she is incredibly kind, down to earth, and acts as a true partner throughout the planning process. Nicole is so committed to her clients that she didn’t even take off from coordinating our wedding when she had her baby this spring!!
All in all, Nicole was an amazing resource, a wonderful friend, and gave us the wedding of our dreams. There was never a time I felt I couldn’t reach out to her with a silly question or to vent about a concern-she was always there. I’m so grateful for everything she did for me and my husband, before during and after the process-hiring Nicole will be the best decision you make when planning your wedding!! -

Nicole and her team are the DREAM TEAM; highly organized, professional, personable, and communicative; this is what wedding dreams are made of! Nicole took such good care of us not only on our wedding day but leading up to our big day. She took the time to understand our vision and hopes for our special day. Everything was handled flawlessly. My family had such great things to say about how she and her team worked behind the scenes to ensure everything went off without a hitch. She communicated with our vendors and just made sure everything was beautiful from the timeline to the setup. I had so much confidence and trust in Nicole and knew I couldn't have asked for anyone else to help coordinate our day. It was perfect and an absolute dream come true. Thank you, Nicole and team! -

Nicole makes the dream work!
My husband and I had three months to plan our wedding and we could not have made it without the help of Nicole with Stag & Lily. Our wedding ceremony was at Maymont and our reception was at the Hofheimer Building. Nicole made the wedding day go seamless with the vendors and coordination of events, so my husband and I could enjoy our big day with our friends and family. She has a lot of ties in the wedding community to help you find the vendors of your needs. She is organized, professional, a pleasure to be around and will tell you how it is to steer you in your desired direction. I absolutely recommend using Nicole with Stag and Lily for your event needs. -

My wife and I engaged the services of Stag and Lily via a recommendation from a family friend. After an initial introductory meeting, we were thrilled to book Nicole and team to manage the details of our wedding day. We were provided excellent organizational tools and tips, which helped keep us on task and as stress-free as possible. Our wedding day was flawless - Stag and Lily brought our vision to life perfectly, kept everyone in line and on time, and were so sweet and professional all day long. It was amazing to walk into both our ceremony and reception and see the result of months of planning, executed to absolute perfection. There is no way my husband and I would have had the amazing wedding we did without Stag & Lily. We were perhaps the laziest wedding planning partners imaginable, and Nicole was so organized and on top of it that we could be lazy - she made everything a breeze. She got us and what we wanted immediately from the day we met through the last dance. My mom even joked that during the wedding, whenever she would think, ‘oh, I need to find Nicole,’ there she would appear next to her! She literally has a 6th sense for what everyone needs, and always delivers. Hire her! -

As a groom, I felt very confident in my now-wife's decision to use Stag and Lily as our day-of coordinator. Nicole was always focused when we talked and truly listened to us as we went about planning our big day. She's organized and direct. We depended on her to handle almost all communication with vendors and even some guests leading up to our ceremony and she executed flawlessly. Lastly, she worked almost entirely behind the scenes, allowing the day to belong to my wife and I, while making sure it ran seamlessly. It's that kind of trust you want when you're trying to execute such an important celebration. We had trust in Stag and Lily during our wedding and definitely feel that our trust was well placed. -

I would recommend Stag & Lily to EVERYONE that I know. Nicole is prompt, professional, honest, and I can't imagine our wedding day without her and her team! One of the biggest comments we got about our wedding was how seamless the transitions were from the Ceremony to the Cocktail Hour to the Reception Hall. Nicole ensured that anything we needed was taken care of before our big day, during our big day, and even the breakdown of everything after the reception ended. We didn't have to worry about anything. -

I would pick Stag & Lily again & again & again!
Stag & Lily single handedly made my wedding vision come to life. From the first week of my engagement, it was clear that Nicole was my wedding planner, her quickness to respond, organization and ability to be excited about my vision but also keep me on track made her the perfect fit for us. I was not sure what type of wedding planning services I wanted because I knew that I was busy but that I also wanted to be involved, she gave me all of this and more. I am seriously amazed that my wedding dreams were able to become a reality and Nicole made it so much fun and coached me through any stress! I could not have done it without her. -

Mother of the Bride
Nicole was a calm voice in every situation we faced during our daughter’s wedding season. She helped us track down some great vendors, set clear priorities for what tasks to conquer first, kept conversations positive when our family’s varied opinions could have veered into conflict and was AMAZING on the wedding day! She prioritized making the day joyful and fun (worry free) for the bride and groom. We came up one tie short in the rental suit bags and the photographer was ready to start. Nicole quickly came up with a plan to switch the FOB and groomsmen’s ties between shots and the crisis was over. She was instantly ready with a backup plan that calmed everyone down.
Nicole stayed to the end, and finished every last detail calmly and efficiently. We are enormously grateful for Nicole’s hard work this year and we highly recommend her services. -

Tara Sent on 10/30/2017As one wedding professional to another, when it came to planning our wedding day - we were nervous! I mean, it was now our turn to be the ones getting married (not a client). Talk about pressure! But then, then we met Nicole of Stag & Lily. And from that first meeting with Nicole, we knew. We knew that on our wedding day, we wouldn't have to worry about a THING! And we didn't. She had connections all over town, caught our vision, implemented our style, and made sure that OUR priorities were experienced. We were 100% peaceful day-of and looking back, we can honestly only remember positive things from our special day (not something everyone experiences!). Why? Nicole cares about your family, your details, and delivers exceptional service time and again! We could not have pulled off our boho, winter wedding without her & her amazing team!! Our dreams came true that day. And Nicole was at the helm, making it all happen EXACTLY how we dreamt. Scratch that: It was BETTER than we could have dreamt. She is so good at what she does that I refer her to each of my clients now - because I just can't get enough of Stag & Lily.

She was easy to get along with and to express my vision to, and she had great connections and ideas when it came to vendors. She got everything out and like I wanted for my wedding decor, and she was available to help every step of the way as I planned and as the weeks wound down, even though I had paid for the lowest amount of assistant (day-of package)! My wedding day was everything I wanted it to be, and if anything went wrong, it was never known to me- any bride's dream!
