  Stacy Jacobsen (Love Study Photo) captured each and every emotion that embodied our wedding day. The surprises, the laughter and the happy tears are relived every time I look at our photos. I love being transported back to that day. I couldn't ask for better wedding photos. Thank you Stacy! You are a true talent!

  During our consultation, Stacy promised a lot which made the actual results very disappointing. I was drawn to the awesome locations she had used as well as props and other creative presentations she integrated into prior shoots. However, very early on - for our engagement pictures - she had no suggestions for locations and also was very hard to contact when we had to re-schedule. Our friend built the website that she provided; a key feature should have been the option of friends and family to purchase from the site. However none of our photos - from engagement to the actual wedding photos were ever made available on the site (and I sure was not going to go through the tedious process of doing it myself - that's why we hired her). Approaching our date, she had no paperwork for us to fill out regarding pictures and I eventually had to make an ammature google doc for the sittings. I felt she missed key moments, including right before I walked down the aisle. After the wedding, we received our pictures in the fall. We took our time picking out the 150 edited pictures in our contract. In the spring we sent her our picks. We didn't hear back from her until months later. I had to follow up with our wedding planner (her job was done in August last year, mind you) and she got a lightning speed response. After many pleas, we received our edits just before our anniversary. I inquired about album options that she mentioned in our consultation, and she encouraged me to make my own online. Very very unprofessional. If she wanted our business and positive word of mouth, she would not over promise and under deliver. If you are not ready to offer certain services, don't include them in the package.

  I appreciated Stacy's flexibility on photo licensing terms, and she has a talented eye, but it is now 14 months since our wedding, and she has still not delivered our album or our parents' albums. (which we hoped to have for Christmas gifts - LAST YEAR) After waiting a full year, we requested a refund, which she also has not delivered.
  
  She does not answer her phone or respond to voice mails and is not timely in responding to emails.
  
  If you use Ms. Jacobsen for an event, be sure to retain part of your payment until you have taken delivery, IN FULL, of all contracted services and extras. If she falls behind, you may never see what you paid for or have to spend months badgering her to finally see it.
