Hiring Stephanie is hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. Stephanie is professional, kind, organized, and just so fun to work with.
She is very well connected and set us up with the most wonderful vendors. We felt so fortunate work with such great people in every aspect of the wedding planning process. Our wedding day went incredibly smoothly, it was so beautiful and a ton of fun! Stephanie understood my vision and executed on it perfectly. I knew we were in such capable hands the second I even emailed with Stephanie.
We had such a stress free planning process because of her and I will sing her praises every time we talk about planning our wedding!! -

We worked with Stephanie for our wedding this past July and could not be happier with the result. From our first phone call, we knew she was the best fit because she had great energy and was very passionate and professional. We communicated our vision and Stephanie made it even better – no detail was missed. During the 7 -8 weeks leading up to our wedding, Stephanie helped alleviate so much stress, reaching out to vendors to finalize the details + handle all of the paperwork needed. On the weekend of, Stephanie made sure everyone was on track which helped us be at ease, truly enjoy the day, and be present as each moment went by. She did a fantastic job of managing the timeline (ceremony, bridesmaids/groomsmen, reception, breaks, speeches, etc.) for the day which made the day flawless. Outside of working with our vendors, she always made it a point to check on me (the bride) to ensure I was OK. I would work with Stephanie again in a heartbeat! -

After an initial planned "long engagement" plus an additional year COVID delay, we had the pleasure of working with Stephanie for almost 2.5 years to make our wedding dreams a reality. Hiring Stephanie and her team at SRS Events was hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST decision we made during the entire planning process and I don't know what we would have done without Steph holding our hands throughout the journey. I consider myself a creative person who had tons of ideas and opinions on how I envisioned my perfect wedding, but when it came to making decisions...it can definitely be overwhelming. There are just SO MANY OPTIONS out there. This is where Steph's help really came into play. She assisted us by narrowing down choices, providing her expert opinion on our ideas, and organizing the entire day down to every last detail. When the time came, we literally had nothing to do but enjoy. Steph checked in regularly leading up to the event, sat in on our vendor meetings, and assisted in negotiating down prices. She created the perfect timeline and was extremeley prepared. I literally had zero idea if there was anything that went wrong throughout the day because she worked her magic and fixed it. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding soon after ours, which only made me appreciate working with SRS Events even more knowing how much of a difference an organized and seasoned Wedding Planner can make. At first I was a bit nervous to work with SRS Events because many of the photos of their past weddings seemed a bit more traditional and romantic than the boho-farm wedding I was envisioning, but after my consultation with Stephanie and hearing how organized and creative she was, I knew she was exactly the right partner I needed to work with. AND she knocked our groovy boho-disco-farm (whatever you want to call it) wedding out of the park! I was especially impressed with the online wedding planning platform that she uses with her clients, it helped us tremendously in staying on budget and organizing all our contacts and contracts in one place. Throughout the entire COVID postponement period, Steph remained calm and guided us through the process of amending our vendor contracts and coming up with creative solutions. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. This was the best money we spent on our wedding, without a doubt. What an amazing value and thanks for teaching me so much about party planning! -

***Relationships with, and knowledge of, local wedding vendors: Stephanie knows everyone in the wedding industry in the D.C. area, and has established relationships with many of them. But the best part is that throughout our vendor selection process, she did not hand us a long list of potential vendors; Stephanie got to know us, and recommended a small, curated batch of highly regarded local vendors that she thought would best suite our tastes and needs. She saved us countless hours of researching and narrowing down lists of vendors.
***Refined taskmaster: Stephanie is the ultimate taskmaster, but not in a manner that is in any way overbearing. My husband and I both have demanding careers, and we needed help knowing where to focus our (limited) energies on wedding planning, and when. Stephanie subtly, artfully kept our wedding planning on track for nearly a year without ever nagging us. Stephanie gave us plenty of advance notice regarding upcoming decision points, did not ping us on things that she knew from professional experience were flexible, and helped us focus on one task at a time by clearly telling us what to prioritize, and when.
***Design expertise: Stephanie not only excels at managing processes, but she also is a skillful designer with exquisite taste. While the vendors ultimately brought our vision to life, Stephanie was the one to give the vendors something coherent to execute. She expertly took our jumbled thoughts and ideas and turned them into a design board with all of the colors and aesthetics we had in mind, all while providing us with valuable suggestions for linens, patterns, flowers, and other details that would fit our vision.
Stephanie gave me the wedding I'd always wanted without sacrificing all of my free time to wedding planning for a year. I was as close to a stress-free bride as they come, both throughout the year of planning and on the big day. It’s been three months since our November wedding and we are still just so blown away by absolutely everything Stephanie was able to accomplish.
As someone who is extremely organized and good at project management, I figured I’d easily be able to pull off planning and executing an elegant wedding. However, after being engaged for a full year, my then fiancé and I had made no progress planning our wedding.
I didn’t have a dream day planned, and hadn’t given much thought to what I wanted my wedding to be like, leaving me completely lost on the planning process. That’s when we turned to Stephanie.
I didn’t have a gown style in mind, didn’t know what type of a venue I saw myself getting married in, much less had any idea of how to answer the seemingly endless number of decisions to be made: Napkin fold? Charger or no charger? Matte or satin paper? Formal addressing? How long should the reception last? How much time should be in between the ceremony and the reception? The list goes on and on.
I also knew I wasn’t a typical pink and pastel bride. After our first meeting, and after reviewing some of her work, Stephanie assured me she would help us achieve a wedding that reflected our styles. She did exactly that.
She was easy to work with, prompt via email, and never too busy to hop on a call. Most importantly, Stephanie made sure we kept on schedule, and helped me properly prioritize the decisions we needed to make while guiding me towards the best, most practical choices. She was respectful of our budget and also went out of her way to find unique details that would appeal to me.
Our wedding was unique, reflected our personalities and who we are as a couple, and blew away all our guests. They are still talking about it. I can not recommend Stephanie enough. If you’re on the fence about hiring her, don’t think twice. -

Stephanie is nothing short of a godsend when it comes to weddings. More than once I emailed her saying she was saving my life. I hired her as a day of coordinator, and I can’t sing praises to her enough. By the month before my wedding I was exhausted, stressed, and just tired of planning. I was panicked I would forget a small detail (who knew charger plates weren’t included??) or that I would make an error on timing for transportation, etc, the list could truly go on. Stephanie not only calmed every possible nerve, but she made our wedding day completely stress free. She came early and helped set up the reception room, and when we walked in it was beyond all expectations. She coordinated every vendor, confirmed every detail, and asked questions I would have never thought of without her. She even returned a rented cake stand for us, taking one major post-wedding to-do off our plate. She was available to me constantly – even before our official 1 month out contract started she was willing to answer completely crazy bride questions, and she made me feel so at ease before I even got to meet her in person. A few weeks before the wedding, she attended a final walk through with me and made sure every single detail was covered. We talked on the phone about general timeline details, and she made a timeline detailing every 10 minutes of the wedding day. Because of this, not only was I more comfortable, but our wedding party and parents all knew what was going on and where they needed to be without me having to lift a finger. She even made a full timeline, and a wedding party specific timeline to help highlight the most important pieces of information. I would not have survived without her. We had the most amazing wedding day, and I can say wholeheartedly that it is because of Stephanie. Full disclosure – writing this brought on tears just thinking about how thankful I am for her! You will not regret working with Stephanie. It was the best wedding decision we made, without a single doubt. -

The absolute best.
When we first started the wedding planning process, we weren't sure if we needed a planner, but the more we looked into the logistics and details of putting together a wedding, the more we realized we needed professional advice and help.
Hiring Stephanie was hands-down one of the absolute best decisions we made in the whole process. She provided us with clear guidelines on how to organize our budget, how and when to hire vendors, and kept us on top of a million other details that we had no idea to expect. (Planning a wedding definitely teaches you to appreciate the nearly insane amount of detail it can take to pull it off!)
Although there are many wedding planners in the industry, we’re guessing there are few that can remain as sharply organized, endlessly cheerful, and warmly supportive as Stephanie was to us throughout the entire process. Stephanie was the person who kept us on top of vendor invoices, appointment schedules, and deadlines, in the midst of our busy work lives. She understood our vision and knew how to make it to come to life. Everyone in our wedding party was so deeply impressed by her impeccable professionalism and her kindness.
Stephanie was truly a blessing to us on our wedding day, and we will remember her with great fondness for the rest of our lives. Stephanie – we miss our near-daily emails, and wish you all the amazing success that you deserve!!

Just this kindness and type A style all mixed in thats a perfect balance for a planner. Her creativity/design skills are next level. Our venue looked beautiful. Stephanie is the best!
I simply can't say enough amazing things about Stephanie and how wonderful it was to work with her for a year as we planned our wedding. From the very beginning, she not only understood our vision for the wedding, but made it so much better!! Stephanie's creativity, talent, passion, ideas, energy, and overall vibes are everything you want in a planner. She made our day even better than we could've imagined. Oh wow, I could write a book about how wonderful Stephanie is and I'm genuinely so sad our time together is over already! I really thought I could manage wedding planning on my own but January hit and I realized I needed help desperately. I scoured planners tirelessly to find someone who had the right style and cost, Stephanie was the perfect fit. Her work is sooo versatile, she can do classy, boho, vintage, rustic, elegant, you name it. And the cost was unbelievably reasonable for the quality of work she does. She stepped in four months out from my wedding and took on everything like Superwoman- contracts, communication with vendors, reaching out to the ones I still needed. She was SO responsive and organized, always on top of things. I was struggling with transportation and she knocked it out easily for me in one day. She handled so much, it was a huge weight of my shoulders the final weeks before the big day. She picked the perfect furniture rentals for my boho style, laidback wedding and worked with all of the vendors I had already hired to complete my vision. She had some amazing ideas along the way that I never would have thought of myself and I'm so grateful for her creativity! She's also more than willing to take on the challenges that come with planning, like frustrating last minute changes from the venue staff. Best attitude ever, always positive and optimistic, gets you even more excited for the wedding, which I didn't think was possible. The day of, she was again so wonderful, going above and beyond her duties, running gifts back and forth between the bridesmaids and groomsmen in pouring rain. The day after the wedding, she hand delivered my bouquet to the flower preservation company, saving my mom a long trip. She is so wonderful and I HIGHLY recommend hiring Stephanie. She is truly a lifesaver and your wedding will be 100 times more magical for it. -

The best decision we made was hiring Stephanie and SRS
To this day we continue to receive many compliments on how amazing our wedding was. We’ve even had other married couples tell us that if they’d do it again, they would want it to be the same as ours. The credit for all of this goes to Stephanie and SRS Events. We were overwhelmed with having to juggle planning the wedding and work; and we didn’t know any vendors nor venues. The best decision we made was hiring Stephanie since the beginning (around 9 months before the wedding). Since the first meeting we were immediately relieved. She guided us through the whole process with very detailed timelines and budget milestones. The wedding was amazing; my wife and I were able to focus on the important part…enjoying the day and having fun with our guests. We left everything else in Stephanie’s hands and not only was it beautiful; but it was also flawless. All her vendors were so great to work with and very accommodating.
Our wedding day will forever remain as such a unique and cherishing day in our memories and in those of our guests; and we owe this to Stephanie. The best decision you can make is hiring her and her team. They do such a great job! Thank you for making our wedding day so memorable! -

I, and my whole family, are so thankful to have met her and to have had her as a wedding planner. My mother was in tears after the wedding, out of sheer thankfulness to her and her wonderful team. The whole day was a blur, but Stephanie was always there to be found and nothing was amiss (that I ever found out about!). She truly made our wedding the best, most perfect day ever! From organizing walk-throughs of the site, coordinating the rehearsal, to working with ALL my various vendors, Stephanie went well above the call of duty. She made sure everything flowed smoothly and that all of the little things (and big things) were taken care of. Because of her, there was little to no stress for me on my wedding day! Hiring SRS Events was the best investment I made in terms of my wedding. -

From day one, she was completely committed to both making our vision a reality, and to accommodating our crazy schedules. We weren't able to meet Stephanie in person until more than a month into the planning process because of my work schedule, and she still managed to check a ton of things off of our to-do list. (We also needed a lot more than just day of coordinating, and she went above and beyond what we thought a wedding planner could do for us.) And even though we had worked with Stephanie for about seven months, and knew full well how competent, organized, and fantastic she was, we were completely unprepared for how well our wedding went. It was exactly as we imagined it, and we truly feel as though we had a perfect wedding - and that is all thanks to Stephanie.
I cannot recommend SRS Events highly enough - it was truly the best money we spent during the course of the wedding. -
Sara Sent on 12/11/2017Planning your dream wedding is hard work and who knew how many small details go into planning such an event?! I honestly don't know how we would've put together our wedding had it not been for Stephanie and her team at SRS Events. Had it not been for her, I would've been extremely stressed out and wouldn't have been able to enjoy it as much as I did. I was so calm since I knew everything was being taken care of for me. We hired Stephanie about three months before the big day as a "Month-Of" coordinator. She made the process extremely simple, easy to understand (as this is most couple's first and only time planning a wedding!), was extremely responsive to our email correspondences, had great suggestions that supported the vision, and timely follow up with all our vendors to ensure the day ran without a hitch! Our wedding turned out so elegant and glamorous without a single hiccup. Stephanie provided unlimited emailing prior to the wedding (and she is extremely responsive!), provided tools to make the wedding planning easier, like AllSeated, contacted our vendors with details in the contracts and setup timing prior to the event, set up and tore down all our wedding decor, and even made sure the catering company packed us our meals from dinner along with a bottle of champagne, our wedding cake, and deserts to enjoy in our hotel room! It was such a great touch. Stephanie and Sara kept us on time with each event during our wedding from pictures, to toasts, to cake cutting, and the sparkler exit. We just wished it all could've lasted longer -- it was truly the best day of our lives, one we will cherish and look back on FOREVER. I would highly recommend investing in a "month-of" coordinator, SRS Events was a joy to work with and well worth the investment!

Lanae Sent on 12/20/2017I found Stephanie and SRS on Instagram literally through liking the exact same vendor photos over the course of about 3 months. I finally went to check our SRS, made it to the website and was blown away. Gorgeous couples and weddings galore, and saw that there was a special for winter brides. After double checking the reviews on WeddingWire I was sold. I only needed a day of coordinator, but SRS has a package for a "month of" coordinator, so everyone is up to speed before the big day. Time well spent and needed for sure. Stephanie and our coordinator Sara were incredibly kind and professional throughout the days leading up to our wedding, and made sure that all questions were answered and contingency plans in place. On the day of, I forgot that it was more than just a big party because Sara had everything under control. Really appreciative of the ladies at SRS for making a dream day run as smoothly as possible! <3
