  Exceptional service.

  Spice Route made our wedding events absolutely amazing. The food was exquisite and every dish was well made and served in a timely manner. The Gujerati wedding food was authentic and delicious . The Sangeet and Reception meals were amazing and the appetizers were served without any issues at a constant pace.
  We were constantly reminded how delicious everything was.

  When we began planning our Indian wedding, we knew that food would be a cornerstone of the celebration. Finding the right caterer was paramount, and after extensive research, numerous recommendations, and several tastings, we chose Spice Route Melange. What a great decision that turned out to be! From start to finish, the experience with Spice Route Melange and its exceptional owner, Shreekant, was nothing short of outstanding.

My husband has a severe soybean allergy, which initially caused us a great deal of concern when selecting a caterer. Shreekant, however, was incredibly accommodating. Without hesitation, he agreed to change the restaurant's oil type to canola, ensuring that all the food prepared would be safe for my husband to enjoy. This level of flexibility and attention to detail is a rarity and was deeply appreciated by our entire family.

  Amazing Catering/Food!

  Spice Route was AMAZING as our wedding caterer! Our wedding was April 6th and people are still raving about how tasty the food was.
  
  When choosing the menu, we wanted to pick items that were different and maybe some that people had not had at a wedding. Shreekant uncle was a huge help with this- he prepared a sample menu which got us to the tasting and his tasting menu was equally as amazing. He was also a deciding factor in choosing Spice Route as our caterer. On each call or during each visit, he always asked our opinions and gave advice when we were stuck on a decision. He also has a huge passion for his food which showed in his suggestions and the actual food during the events.
  
  With Spice Route you'll get some wedding classics, but with a totally new flavor profile. The Gobi Manchurian remained just as crispy at the wedding buffet as it was when we tried it at the restaurant. The Mushroom and Pea sabzi was just as tasty and fresh as when we had it at the buffet a few weeks prior. Each item maintained the original flavor.
  
  Advice to couples looking for a caterer:
  1. Spice Route will be a HUGE hit!
  2. Be vocal about your tastes and preferences early on. It's your wedding day, choose what you like!!

  Shreekant did a fabulous job of catering for my daughter's wedding. Wedding guests said "food was excellent"

  It is a farm wedding and hence we chose bamboo plates initially. Later we changed to china. Shreekant worked with a third party vendor to deliver lunch in the way we wanted. He also meticulously made recommendations to make overall lunch experience far beyond successful.

The Indo-Chinese fusion menu was a total hit with items like chicken satay, crispy chili corn, lemon coriander soup, and Sichuan fried rice. Our guests throughly enjoyed the appetizers, dinner, and the cheesecake! Even one month later we remember the delicious spread provided by Spice Route Melange. 10/10 high recommend Shreekanth and his team to anyone looking for something a little different from the standard wedding and sangeet menu. Service was prompt and professional at every step of the way and absolutely worth it.

Shreekant was so accommodating and flexible with my requests. Not only did he go out of his way to make sure the food was perfect but he also went the extra mile by catering my wedding out of state. Months later my guests are still complimenting the food. You won’t be disappointment!

  Wedding caterer

  I recently got married in New York City and a 550 person wedding in the middle of Manhattan. I had genuine concerns about the ability of any catering company to accomplish such a task. I had Consultations with many seasons caterers in the New Jersey/New York area. I was just getting very tired of tasting the same quality of food and gravy and it seem like there was just no passion in the food or the event. I wanted somebody who was truly invest in my wedding was not mass producing a curry-based item for the other 15 weddings that they were also gonna be catering that weekend. Every bride wants to feel like her wedding is an exception and is special. That is exactly what spice routed for us. Not only is shreekant uncle an absolute pleasure to work with as a human being, but the team is incredibly professional and display so much integrity and commitment to your event. Of the many things that people discuss when talking about my wedding first and foremost is always the food. People we’re going back for third and fourth fillings. It was so savory and perfectly spiced with so much creativity and a spectrum of dishes that you usually don’t find that your normal tri-state Indian wedding. Shortly after my wedding he got three other events just based off of people who attended it because his food spoke volumes. I would recommend him to literally everyone, and with my family he is now our in-house caterer for all future weddings, baby showers, birthdays, everything!

  Superb Food & Service

  Spice Route was Excellent! Shreekant was so professional and collaborative in designing our menu. We, along with all of our guests, LOVED the food. The flavors, presentation and all around good taste makes Spice Route several cuts above the rest. Our guests were raving out the Malwani Fish Curry and Kathi Rolls. We would definitely use them again and go to the restaurant.
